Governor Perry knowingly executed an innocent man now he stacks the deck as much as he can to cover it up!

As we discussed two days ago, Governor Perry knowingly hung an innocent man and then tried to cover it up. As it becomes more obvious that Willingham was innocent Perry stacks the deck to cover the truth as far as the law allows him too. First a recap! Perry executed the man based on unproven information and when the truth came out and an investigation was called for Perry dismissed the entire team saying their time was up. Gee it had nothing to do with the fact that they knew the fire was an accident not arson and Perry knowingly hung an innocent man? Nope not the entire team only three of the 7!

Perry abruptly removed three members of the Texas Forensic Science Commission -- including the commission's chairman just two days before they were to meet to review the evidence that Cameron Todd Willingham was innocent. The new chairman a prosecutor not a Defender who has now replaced a defense attorney on the commission canceled the hearing for the time being. Gee what a coincidence and in time to cover up before a reelection campaign!

Perry, who maintains that Willingham was guilty, defended the move by saying that their terms were up, so we replaced them. Nevertheless he said that the abruptness of their dismissal appears a bit suspicious. No you think? Then let them do this first unless you know you're guilty! The innocence project is right saying that it looks an awful lot like a governor who's interfering with a science commission because the science demonstrated that we've executed an innocent person. There was no arson it was an accidental fire!

I am an eye for an eye guy but especially in an instance like execution you have to "know" not think you know. The death penalty should only be used in extreme cases and this was not one of them. Look at the links and there are many more. It is obvious Perry knowingly executed an innocent man. Now the Governor fires the independent Chairman and two other members of this Commission right before they were going to prove he knowingly executed an innocent man. Again The innocence project is right saying It's like Nixon firing Archibald Cox to avoid turning over the Watergate tapes. We can not let him get away with this.

Now only a couple days later instead of begging forgiveness and killing himself the SOB deepens the cover up! This guy is a true Politician he actually says the truth will vindicate him. Once again the truth will never be known and we will never forgive and forget! Now he has replaced a 4th person out of a 7 member board. He has now set it up so he has a controlling majority of deciders in his favor. I am more livid than before and refuse to believe you can legally kill someone and get away with it. We can not listen to McChrystal the Afghanistan mission was against Al Qaeda not to take on Islam!

We keep hearing McChrystal is supposed to be the most qualified of Generals making counterinsurgency his career including heading Cheney's assassin squad and his advice should be adhered to.

With that said he should be ignored and reeducated as to what the mission is. Up to now no one has done it but Obama might if he listens to Biden and Cleland. We have got to change course in Afghanistan so we can concentrate on Al Qaeda around the world.

Our soldiers did their job send them home. Unless their job is to create as many enemies as possible which is all they are doing in Afghanistan get them out.

Getting rid of Al Qaeda and eliminating their Afghan safe haven was supposed to be the goal not building a puppet Government like in Vietnam. Staying in Afghanistan I understand has only brought a threat from the Taliban to attack us in the US once they get us out of Afghanistan.

Afghanistan belongs to the Taliban and they said they would keep Al Qaeda out, sounds like all the win we are going to get let's go home with our heads up. We are only making more enemies. If the goal is to take on Islam we are headed towards success.

The alternative to getting out now is adding more troops and staying there in the forever war Bush set up. Maybe with our failing economy the idea is to keep us going on a permanent war economy? What do you think? In regards to what to do in Afghanistan I was listening to an interview by Christiane Amanpour of Defense Secretary Robert Gates and our other so called expert on what to do in Afghanistan, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

They said we have two options making the issue black and white, right or wrong, which only highlights the politicization of the issue. Our choices are not All in or Withdraw. Making this an issue of doing it the Republican way or the Democrat way is the problem. Think! Do it the right way!

Refocus the mission! After 8 years of mismanagement under Bush it is right that Obama take time think and listen to good advice not war mongering Republicans. McChrystal is out to accomplish the wrong goal! Listen to Max Cleland who has learned the lessons of Vietnam the hard way. Listen to Biden! Listen to McCain, then think about it and do the right thing.

They may be now but the Taliban was not the enemy Al Qaeda was and is they attacked us not the Taliban. We keep hearing the Taliban are resurging. Who the hell cares as long as they stay in Afghanistan. THEY ARE NOT THE ENEMY! At least they weren't! Or is the friggen goal to see how many Muslim's we can get to fight us? Work on Al Qaeda around the world! Afghanistan and the Taliban as I said were not the enemy though they may be now! Karzai is using us so he can steal Afghanistan for him and his brother! We do not need a hundred years ground war unless keeping our military and a war going in Afghanistan is how they plan on saving and driving our economy! Who the hell cares if Afghanistan is a safe haven for the Taliban it is their country. As long as they keep out Al Qaeda leave them alone if possible and monitor them!

Obama does deserve the peace prize, he gives the entire world hope for a peaceful unified future!

His accomplishment is turning the world away from WW3 that Bush had us headed. Undoubtedly he can thank Bush and the mess he made out of US and world order for being awarded the Nobel Peace prize. I am sick of hearing he has accomplished nothing and it is too early. BS! The entire world feels hope with the exception of the Republicans who want him to fail at every time. They are angry!

Now let's see what the world does with the foundation President Obama has laid! We lost any hope for the future because of Bush's war mongering and the world unifying to take the US on! It was mentioned that Reagan should have gotten it. Hell Reagan started the mess with his over spending and war mongering that Bush was following. Obama is the shining knight the entire world has been waiting for.

He gives us all hope for peace! Regardless of Politics we should all be proud of Obama as our leader getting one for the team for a change instead of taking one! Obama has already changed the direction os the US and the world. Under Bush in our future the entire world saw nothing but death destruction and WW3. Obama has set us on the course to world peace. It is up to th entire world which road they choose.

Obama 'humbled' to win Nobel Peace Prize

It's about damn time as Obama says Taliban can be involved in Afghanistan's future. Now I can see victory!

First by now everyone knows Obama won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize and I think that is fantastic not because of his accomplishments but because of his efforts to unite the world. It is a bit ironic for the President of a country fighting two wars to win the peace prize. However if he can bring peace to the middle east and bring Afghanistan to a successful conclusion. The Taliban have proven to be very politically astute. They are protecting the citizen's whenever possible and making it known to the Americans that they will no longer cooperate with Al-Qaida or provide them safe haven. Next step will be if they would guarantee to route out Al Qaeda then we can go home or more aptly concentrate on helping Pakistan who has been increasingly successful in routing out Al Qaeda and the Taliban. I am finally hearing the right advice and it looks like Obama is going to take it. The Republicans of course want a surge with 40,000 more troops sent to be killed. Obama may send a few thousand more but it looks like he is listening to the likes of VP Biden and max Cleland. It is about time we have a President capable of thought! It is about friggen time! On the video they recognize that the Taliban is an indigenous part of Afghan society and will not be defeated. About damn time!

You could add a million troops and it would do nothing but draw more martyrs to the Taliban cause!

Obama will add some troops for now but is listening to the likes of Max Cleland and Joe Biden. At this critical time Biden has become increasingly vocal on what to do in Afghanistan. In Afghanistan we have another Vietnam only because Bush created it by diverting to Iraq to make a new middle east (dis)order! Cleland says get out now and he is right! Why does Obama insist on sending even one more troop to their grave? Is it because he knows if he pulls out he will be killed? Afghanistan is another Vietnam and we have duplicated every mistake including installing a puppet Government. We must get out now! I know Obama has been President for less than a year but to me he has yet to do anything right or get anything done. Victory in Afghanistan will make everything right and I can now see that happening! No Government in Kabul and the people are indifferent that tells me it is Taliban deal time!

Since it is starting to bear fruit I think it is time once again to revisit some of what we have discussed about Bush's attack on Iraq to get into the middle east with the goal of helping Israel create an new middle east (dis)order. Bush had long planned to attack Iran and unite the rest of the middle east to take Iran on. Our discussions go back 5 years so here are just a couple important highlights!

We as you know already upset the balance of power in the middle east and Bush purposely did it to go after Iran. What Gates proposed a couple weeks ago as to arming the middle east against Iran was already done by us. I had to go back to July 2007 to find the story but you will find this interesting because even under Obama this is still going to happen. The middle east is uniting against Iran and it will explode. This will in the end be long and ugly!

Balancing power they called it. U.S. promises of military aid or arms sales to strengthen its Middle Eastern allies against Iran and other regional foes was aimed at repairing a balance of power destroyed by the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq. That is not what is going to happen or what this is about. Supposedly Toppling Saddam Hussein ended Iraq's role as a counterweight to Iran, a part it had played since the 1980s in a Gulf security system that Washington had hoped would contain the rival powers. Like everywhere else we tried to have our way it did not work! We set Iran free!

That was only the smallest of the repercussions. Toppling Saddam gave Bush the excuse to get into the middle east, upset the balance of the entire middle east as Bush knew would be the case, and set the stage for Bush's new middle east order that has long been planned and it will not stop now even under Obama. This is still just beginning but it will increase rapidly once the rest of the middle east unites. I had some interesting conversations yesterday in relation to yesterdays conversation on this story. I do not like what we see developing here.

That made me remember how long this has all been planned, and put the rest of this developing scenario together. After 50 years of middle east policy and not arming them to fight wars Bush has changed that in hopes of getting them to fight Iran and Syria. Hopefully Saudi Arabia will succeed in peeling Syria away from Iran now. The theory was that we would be freed to attack Iran from the Gulf as Iraq quiets and others fight Iran on the ground! Bush started this now Obama has pushed his effort to attack Iran in part to a proxy war via Israel, Saudi Arabia, and other so called middle east allies.

He will now be free to go after Pakistan and Iran from the Gulf with our carrier and battle Groups while others will be doing the brunt of the fighting and ground combat. Everything is almost prepared. Bush is prepared in the Gulf and we have a seasoned fleet Admiral in command of middle east forces set to lead events while others expend their efforts on Iran. Gorbachev was right and this will not be good. I have heard that we are thinking of sending undercover special forces to Turkey in order to combat Kurds from Iraq. I wouldn't put it past Bush at all but that too will backfire on us.

You know there are those of us that expected Bush to attack Pakistan too and I hope under Obama this can be avoided.. I expect it in conjunction with the attack on Iran this fall or shortly thereafter. Now he will be in a position to do it.With what he is now doing with Israel, Saudi Arabia, and other so called middle east allies, He will be freed to go after Pakistan while others focus on Iran. With our carrier and battle groups in the Gulf He will be free to take them both on. Bush is one happy camper. So having pointed that out I still find it disingenuous for Gates to have said that the 'Arab world should arm against Iran' You know, on a good day the middle east was unstable but did not have the advanced weaponry the US Russia and China have made available to them. With the middle east now uniting to go against Iran this is going to be long and dirty unless they can uncharacteristically learn how to live together in peace!

Unless Afghanistan does their own fighting and shows they do not want Sharia law as they appear to you better believe the so called Taliban Al Qaeda or whatever you want to call them are going to prevail. Actually controlling the farce of an Afghanistan Government is not even secondary. It is unnecessary. They can and are controlling the country right from where they are!

I continue to beat a dead horse but again reiterate though it is a waste of time that like Afghanistan Pakistan is largely tribal but they want a central Government and freedom from the Taliban to continue to have their tribal customs and freedoms and are fighting for it! NATO go home! Scale back! Get out! We keep hearing how tough Afghani's are. Prove it! Pakistan has shown what they want and so has Afghanistan. Can't we take a friggen hint?

We keep hearing how we must get to Taliban moderates and Afghan moderates well get with it do it now and let them fight for their country. Moderate tribesmen in parts of militant-ravaged north-west Pakistan are challenging Taliban extremists threatening to overrun their area, in what will develop into a mass resistance movement.That is what Afghanistan must do!

America and NATO must get out! We have been there over 8 years, twice as long as WW2! If Afghanistan wanted freedom from the Taliban they would already be trained and fighting for it instead of just letting themselves be killed as pawns. Get rid of corrupt Karzai!

Why are the Afghan's not forming Lashkar's and killing the Taliban if they want their freedom from them? * Have a fair election, get rid of Karzai,Feed and supply Afghan's to fight if they want their freedom as Pakistan is and get out! That is the only answer not less or more troops.

Our soldiers did their job leave now with heads held high not our tails between our legs like in Saigon! Give food and supplies to the Afghans and if they want their freedom they will fight for it like the Pakistani tribes are. We should be helping Pakistan who has proved they want their freedom from Taliban and Sharia law. Don't add more troops this is Afghanistan graveyard of Nations. Cheat history get out now!

The new face of the Republican party Palin, Limbaugh, Beck … now it's Republicans seeing the downside!

The lies and idiocy does not stop it only continues to get worse every day as Republicans get increasingly desperate to stop Obama, Democrats, and empathy. Lindsey Graham says Republicans are poised to come roaring back. God help us! He better look at his big tent party again, it is the Big Top party, a circus. I was stunned to hear Graham say Republicans are closer to Americans than Obama. Where has he been the last few years?

Lindsey Graham is right saying the brand is tainted. It is! He said they lost their principles but they did not. They are simply showing their true colors. In the National Council for a new America you have the same old group choosing the old face as the new face of their party. Nothing has changed. You saw the real McCain running for President. He is not the man he wants you to think he is. Nothing will change as they still have a long way down to go.

While I was reading about the phony GOP launching another rebranding effort I saw the new Republican commercial and they are worse than ever. The commercial depicted Obama as weakening and endangering America. It is so Cheneyish! The commercial is played to dire sounding fear music. Nothing has changed. If they really want to portray change be true conservatives. Do not just voice change live it mean it prove it. They keep saying they want to be inclusive.

Since Bush rode off into the sunset proud of his success in thoroughly destroying us and Obama got elected as President to try and fix the mess he made of us and the world the Republicans have changed their face. Sarah Palin, and the likes of Michelle "Conspiracy" Bachmann and the most prominent of the talk-show types Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, have become the new face of the Republican party. Democrats endanger themselves laughing off the new pup tent party, They may be smaller but the fringe is getting more distant, much louder, and more dangerous.

Lindsey Graham and John McCain see the importance of reclaiming their values and their party even as the likes of John Boehner ignore the idiocy revel in it and appear to cheer it on. Lindsey Graham and John McCain at least see the approaching danger not only to their party but the country if the idiocy continues from the likes of Beck and Limbaugh and if someone as inept as Palin ever got near the Presidency. Graham said that anyone who thinks President Obama was not born in Hawaii and an American is just plain crazy! Finally someone in the Republican pipes up and says we must stop this! Graham: Obama is not a Muslim he is a good man. Let's knock this off! I do not care who says Beck is not cynical that is BS! He is very cynical. There is no excuse for him. Full Netanyahu UN Speech Part 1 of 4



Obama gave Iran two weeks to foreclose its true nuclear intentions. Most do not know it but that two week deadline is more critical than you realize because of Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu! I keep hearing that Obama knew about Qom before his speech in Cairo and at the UN but said nothing. He was protecting his image of being the unifier not Bush the divider so I have to ask why didn't Bush say anything and why is that never mentioned?

We know we cannot trust Iran and likewise we can not trust Israel either. We are going to get dragged into this too one way or the other unless we leave Israel up to her fate. After all I reiterate who the hell are we to dictate to Iran what they can and can't do? After all we have no clout anyway and from what I can see in that we have no idea what Iran's uranium enrichment capabilities really are so we are very likely doing them a favor making a deal to have their uranium enriched in a 3rd party Nation!

We keep hearing that Iranian's do not want to be isolated but I think that is a crock because neither China nor Russia seem to be on board with new sanctions. Lining up the Nations involved will be step one unless we go it alone again after playing the sanction game as we did in Iraq. We hear that more talks have been agreed to but we all know talk is cheap!

It is once again a cheap shot at Obama when his critics keep pointing out that the French said Obama was not tough enough and if they say that we are in trouble. I am sick of using the French who are perceived as week by the war mongering Republicans to show how wrong Obama is! Despite what Republicans say we can not squeeze Iran too much because if we do not give them gas and the citizens can not drive their care despite Ahmadinejad the dictator stealing the election we will only unify the Nation of Iran behind him!

I can not see us attacking Iran but unequivocally we can see Israel doing it and soon! There are those including me that give us two weeks one month at the out most before Netanyahu takes matters into his own hands and attacks Iran's nuclear facilities permission to over fly Iraqi air space or not. Please allow me to point out something I said years ago and it is true! Bush diverted from Afghanistan to attack Iraq to get us back into the middle east to help Israel with their so called buffer zone and new middle east order! In Closing: Israel will attack Iran I have long been convinced that once they do coming to Israel's rescue would be Bush's in to war with Iran. It is still going to happen but under Obama! They may not want to hear it but Representative Grayson is entirely right. Let's cut to the chase! advocating staying with our current broken health care system which the insurance companies control whether you live or die or get coverage translates to die quickly and get out of our hair. Republicans love their bosses system where they control whether you live or die and if you are sick they limit how much care you get period.

No one period can deny that Republicans, Blue dogs, and their owners the insurance companies want to keep it that way. Die quickly can not be denied. It would not save them any money as they are not spending it. It would save them from the liability of their actions. They will not cover you if you are sick already and if you get sick they cape how much they will spend on you. This unequivocally means Republicans want you to die quickly if you get sick. That can not be denied!

Republicans and Blue dogs work for the insurance companies not we the people! Why does the truth hurt? You do not apologize for the truth! Remember when Wilson lied and interrupted President Obama calling him a liar? He would not go on the floor and apologize for lying there is absolutely no need for Grayson to go on the floor and apologize for telling the truth.

Citing a Harvard University study released this month that said 44,000 Americans die each year because they have no health insurance I absolutely agree with Grayson that there is no excuse for this in America and he should not have apologized to Republicans for telling the truth. He was right saying he did apologize but he apologized to those that died and their families for failing to pass reform yet. He pointed out that 10 times more are allowed to die every year than have died in Iraq. Grayson stands by "Republicans want you to Die Quickly" statement and I agree 100%

Representative Grayson is entirely right but he should go one step further. He should be the one demanding an apology! He should demand an apology from Republicans, Blue dogs and all of Congress for doing nothing period for years. That said he should get back on the floor and demand an apology be given directly to the American people and then the next chance we get vote them all out!


In closing: Republicans have never wanted to do anything about improving our pro insurance industry health care system! They still insist every one in the country has health care and it is the best in the world. Is that our welfare system? We are on the bottom of the entire so called civilized world. and many are ending up there not only because they lost their jobs and can not pay their bills but because they are sick and can not get coverage. Some of the lunatic conspirators I hear right here defy any reasoning! Yes Clinton certainly screwed up and asked for what he got. Ultimately we can thank Clinton and Monica Lewinsky for getting the life long failure of an alcoholic elected to do to us what he had done to his life. The right wing conspirators bailed him out!

Tehran continues to flex its muscles: Iranian exercise, codenamed Great Prophet 4 are being held as Israelis mark Yom Kippur. Iran is as expected being defiant but I do not see anything positive in this for Iran because I hope Obama is not as stupid as Bush and will handle this with kid gloves not a fist.

I am hearing from Republicans that Obama should cancel the upcoming talks with Iran. That is something Bush would do and would be totally counter productive which I would expect would have been his goal. I still believe something can be worked out here but China has to step up. Before I finish on this would hope you gloss over what I wrote April 22nd because it is increasingly obvious that Iran is the chink in the armor that is Obama Iran will continue to be increasingly aggressive! Like you I continue to hear how Bush's screw you in your face politics kept the world in check and us safe. Nothing could be further from the truth!

Thank God everyone stayed in check despite Bush's bullying war mongering efforts. I have yet to hear why if Bush knew about the supposedly secret underground facility years ago why he did not say anything? If we knew about it for years then it was not a secret!Is there a real problem here or are we once again creating one where there is none to use it for personal gain. I do not see anything good here for anyone.

In closing there is very different rhetoric coming from Obama compared to Bush who did his best to instigate war with Iran. Ahmadinejad said Obama is a man he can do business with but is Ahmadinejad a man Obama can do business with? The US threatens crippling sanctions on top of the three sets already in place. Though they are not what you think!

First the winners and losers in the US! It is all about money and Corporations again. You have to believe Rummy Cheney or other Bush cronies have interests in the Boeing Company who was going to develop the facilities in Poland and Czechoslovakia and Orbital sciences who was going to be supplying the interceptors. They are the losers!

Now To start with Obama had a great speech attended by everyone even Ahmadinejad who did his best to appear disinterested. Obama's rousing speech of hope unity and cooperation if met halfway had the ill fortune of being followed by Moamar Gaddafi and the Ahmadinejad. Ahmadinejad appeared to be talking to himself as most either did not attend or walked out. Many walked out when Ahmadinejad attacked Israel, including Britain, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary and Italy, Canada and the US did not even attend. Day after UN walkout, German FM calls Ahmadinejad a 'disgrace'

Someone please fill me in on why Ahmadinejad and Kaddafi were even allowed in the UN meeting let alone allowed to speak. I mean in Gaddafi's case to bore with a 95 minute senseless rant that sent most running and others to sleep and in Ahmadinejad's case to send everyone running out of the room. Ahmadinejad predictably blamed the world's woes on a few super powers Democracy and Liberalism. It is Iran's right to go into every country we messed up and fix it!.

When Ahmadinejad bragged about Iran's glorious election and his claimed affirmation of Iran's great Democracy I thought gee I guess we set a lousy example while most of the assembly emptied out leaving Ahmadinejad to talk to himself which he seemed quite happy doing. He mocked Obama and his idea of change. The denier of the holocaust had the audacity to call for truth while addressing an empty room. and not just because of his "glorious" election. Kaddafi said swine flu is a military weapon, Obama was his son and a Kenyan and should be President for life. Why did those senseless idiots even get to speak at the UN?

Ahmadinejad murdered his own people after his "glorious" election and the aftermath of the lie the protests continue as I speak. He called Iran fully Democratic and said the great turn out and results proved it. Boy are we in trouble! Holocaust denial, anti Semitic rants, a sponsor of terrorism, do we want them to possess nukes? They are involved in Iraq. They are developing ICBM's capable of reaching Europe and even the US. After listening to Ahmadinejad's idiocy at the UN I am comfortable saying what do we do about this monster?

I was listening to Israel's Ambassador expressing how mush Israel appreciated and welcomed Obama's speech at the UN in response to hearing war monger John Bolton say Obama put Israel on the chopping block. Kaddafi said the security council are terrorists. Ahmadinejad said the US should get its nose out of middle east affair and let Iran take care of it. Yeah right! Gaddafi lectures the UN


He defended Iran's right to interfere in other middle east nations. Kaddafi was often bizarre and incoherent. Why the hell were they allowed to address the UN General Assembly? Those two should not be legitimized. This is just not right not good! Ahmadinejad crapped all over the rest of the world while covering up the real story of a ruthless military dictatorship in Iran and that Ahmadinejad is a ruthless mealy mouthed fraudulent leader. He spoke to an empty house and the video was controlled by the UN. That is the only story but why was Kaddafi and Ahmadinejad even allowed too speak?

When all is said and done with Iran wanting to obliterate Israel and many of us fear getting their hands on nukes one way or the other they would be wise to remember a nuclear Iran would have to face a nuclear Israel with 2 or 300 nuclear weapons and second strike capabilities which means that even if they are attacked they will have the ability to strike back. Just think of the repercussions of this in the middle east and around the world!

Obama's decision to use the Aegis because of Iran was obviously a good one and timely!

I am sorry, I do not think I am any different than the rest of you but knowing Iran wants to wipe at least Israel off the map and says they are not developing a nuclear weapon but if they had one would use it on Israel I have to believe while they may have a valid need for nuclear power their program is a cover for their real goal of developing or getting their hands on a nuclear weapon to use on Israel!

Likewise Iran has been upgrading its missile systems and for the first time showed off its Sejil 2 two stage solid fuel missile capable of reaching targets 1,200 miles away. They had that ability with the Shahab 3 but are now prepared to produce these en masse. They now have capable short and medium range capabilities but no way to deliver nuclear warheads. Supposedly these are not to be used offensively but only to prove Iran can defend herself. Once again you have to believe the weapons are to prove they are a threat offensively. Iran displayed its ballistic missile

Iran was already a threat to her immediate neighbors with a 600 mile range now they have paraded the ability to produce missiles capable of reaching parts of Europe and certainly most of the middle east.

President Obama based his decision to scrap Bush's worthless MDS Boondoggle as it was only designed to provoke Russia and was never even tested under realistic conditions despite its 4 Billion dollar cost. Where the hell is Afghanistan's Lashkar? Unify Afghanistan take back your country? NATO go home! Scale back! Get out! We keep hearing how tough Afghani's are. Prove it! We keep hearing how we must get to Taliban moderates and Afghan moderates well get with it do it now and let them fight for their country. Moderate tribesmen in parts of militant-ravaged north-west Pakistan are challenging Taliban extremists threatening to overrun their area, in what will develop into a mass resistance movement. They will succeed I have faith!

Pakistan has formed Lashkar's, Lashkar's are armed military camps and the fighters volunteering to join them to fight and kill the Taliban fight for the Government and love their country they gladly leave their families and fight for nothing, eradicating the Taliban is their sole goal. One of the tribal leaders said there is a civil war, the people against the Taliban.

Those at this Jirga came with their Russian machine guns from fighting in Afghanistan in the 80s talking of the horrors they saw committed by the Taliban in the Swat valley and vowed to kill them all.More than 10,000 volunteered to join. Villagers in parts of North-West Frontier province and the tribal territory, faced with the violent advance of the Pakistani Taliban, are starting to organize an armed indigenous resistance in the not really because of an absence of help but because they feel the army will cause more problems and they can do it better. The resistance has parallels with the "Sunni awakening" in Iraq, where tribesmen took on al-Qaida militants in Anbar province and elsewhere.Palestinian citizens had to rebel against being used as human shields.

Afghanistan is going to have to do the same thing. This is what it has come to. You stand up and fight for the life you want or let yourself be enslaved by Muslim extremists. General McChrystal says we need more troops in Afghanistan or we will fail. Fail at what? Joining the Graveyard of Nations? We have already succeeded! Our original goal was to unseat the Taliban
and deny Bin Laden a safe haven. We accomplished that so get out with our heads held high!

I thought we weren't in the business of Nation building? Afghanistan does not want a centralized Government they as you know are tribal and do not want one. Funny but Pakistan is largely tribal but they want a central Government and freedom from the Taliban to continue to have their tribal customs and freedoms and are fighting for it!

That is what Afghanistan must do! America and NATO must get the hell out! We have been their over 8 years, twice as long as WW2! If Afghanistan wanted freedom from the Taliban they would already be trained and fighting for it instead of just letting themselves be killed as pawns. Get rid of corrupt Karzai! Why are the Afghan's not forming Lashkar's and killing the Taliban if they want their freedom from them?

* Have a fair election, get rid of Karzai,Feed and supply Afghani Lashkar to fight if they want their freedom as Pakistan is and get the hell out! That is the only answer not less or more troops. Our soldiers did their job leave now with heads held high not our tails between our legs like in Saigon!
