Rummy accuses Bush critics of appeasing fascism! fascism, Isn't that Bushism?

Rummy accused critics of the Bush administration's Iraq and counter terrorism policies of trying to appease "a new type of fascism." What is that?

Our own axis of evil (Rummy, Bush, Cheney) would do well to listen to their own advice! First what is Rummy talking about, a new kind of fascism? Fascism, Dictionary description: A system of Government characterized by rigid one party dictatorship, forcible suppression of opposition. Isn't that a description to a T of Bushco? they are fond of calling the Islamist's, Islamist fascist's. Aren't they then fundamentalist fascist's?

Isn't it Rummy and Bushco that is suffering from moral and intellectual confusion? Listen to this!

In unusually explicit terms, Rumsfeld portrayed the administration's critics as suffering from "moral or intellectual confusion" about what threatens the nation's security and accused them of lacking the courage to fight back.
In remarks to several thousand veterans at the American Legion's national convention, Rumsfeld recited what he called the lessons of history, including the failed efforts to appease the Adolf Hitler regime in the 1930's.

I recount this history because once again we face similar challenges in efforts to confront the rising threat of a new type of fascism," he said.

Rumsfeld spoke to the American Legion as part of a coordinated White House strategy, in advance of the fifth anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, to take the offensive against administration critics at a time of doubt about the future of Iraq and growing calls to withdraw U.S. troops.

Rumsfeld recalled a string of recent terrorist attacks, from 9/11 to bombings in Bali, London and Madrid, and said it should be obvious to anyone that terrorists must be confronted, not appeased. But some seem not to have learned history's lessons," he said, adding that part of the problem is that the American news media have tended to emphasize the negative rather than the positive.

The negatives have been emphasized maybe because they by far dominate any positives. Also, what lessons has Bush learned from history? I haven't noticed that he has learned a damn thing that is why he is repeating it and we are in so much trouble!

Can we truly afford to believe somehow, some way, vicious extremists can be appeased?" he asked. I ask who the hell is saying we should appease terrorists?

Those who know the truth need to speak out against these kinds of myths and lies and distortions being told about our troops and about our country," he added.

That is exactly what we are attempting to do. You do not hear the truth ever. You can not trust anything Bushco says so we are forced to ferret it out ourselves. Isn't it Jack Nicholson that said "You can't Handle the Truth" That is a fact with Bushco!

I heard Bush say last night that he had no idea Rummy was speaking about this and that he had no plans to do so and I had already heard different. Secretary of State Rice was addressing the American Legion convention later Tuesday, and President Bush is scheduled to speak here later in the week. On Monday, Vice President Dick Cheney and Rumsfeld made separate addresses to the national convention of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Reno, Nev.

Rumsfeld made similar arguments in Reno about doubters of the administration's approach to fighting terrorism, saying too many in this country want to "blame America first" and ignore the enemy. http://www.foxnews.com/....

The repub disinformation campaign is in full swing in an attempt to regain support for their corruptively inept actions worsened only by the fact that Bush is also following his own corruptive agenda from the beginning and it will all end in failure. http://www.anaveragepatriot.com/....

Wow! Iran's leader calls for TV debate with Bush He would eat Bush Alive, It will never happen!

Iranian President Ahmadinejad has called on President Bush to participate in a "direct television debate so Iran can voice its point of view on how to end world predicaments.

But the condition is that there can be no censorship, especially for the American nation," he said Tuesday.
Ahmadinejad blamed "special concessions" granted to the United States and Britain as "the root cause of all the problems in the world."
"At the Security Council, where they have to protect security, they enjoy the veto right. If anybody confronts them, there is no place to take complaints to."
His comments came during a news conference currently taking place in Tehran, during which he is expected to respond to a United Nations ultimatum to suspend uranium enrichment or face possible sanctions.

Although he has yet to directly address the U.N. deadline, Ahmadinejad said '"nobody can prevent" Iran from its right to a "peaceful, nuclear program."

"I think the time has passed to speak of the Security Council and the tools they can use to force a country to do certain things," he said.

The Islamic republic has until Thursday to comply to a Security Council resolution to halt the enrichment program, which Iran maintains is part of a civilian nuclear program.

Western nations accuse Iran of seeking to master technology to produce nuclear weapons.

"No one can deprive a nation of its rights based on its capabilities," the agency quoted Ahmadinejad as saying in his speech to inaugurate Iran's heavy water project. http://www.cnn.com/...

It would never happen as Ahmadinejad would make Bush look stupid! It would be nice to have Bush the mouth confront him head on and vice-a-versa, on the Hezbollah issue, Iran's involvement in Iraq, Iran's nuclear issues, Israel, and many more issues involving Iran. I think it is a great idea and we should all be calling for this debate! What do you think?

Tighter Political control of media is a threat to Democracy! It's Selective & Controlled by Bushco?

Al Gore said that ever-tighter political and economic control of the media is a major threat to democracy. Gore said the goal behind his year-old television channel Current TV was to encourage the kind of democratic dialogue that thrives online but is increasingly rare on TV.

Gore told an audience yesterday at the Edinburgh International Television Festival that "Democracy as a system for self-governance is facing more serious challenges now than it has faced for a long time." Current TV was launched last year and anticipated the tide of user-generated content now sweeping the media world.
His long-standing warnings about the threat from
global warming have reached a mass audience thanks to "An Inconvenient Truth," a stark movie that has become one of the most successful documentaries in United States history. http://www.myeyewitnessnews.com/...

Knowing that Bush subverts everything that is counter to what he wants you to believe. Knowing that there was a 60 minutes documentary explaining the truth as to the dire condition of the planet and the fact that Bush has had government scientist's censored and will not let their reports on the environment go out until anything that tells the truth and goes counter to what he wants you to believe. Scientists doing climate research for the federal government say the Bush administration has made it hard for them to speak forthrightly to the public about global warming. The result, the researchers say, is a danger that Americans are not getting the full story on how the climate is changing. http://www.nhne.org/...

Knowing that Global warming may be a natural occurrence but is being sped up by mans abusive influence and we are preparing to make it worse instead of trying to help the situation. I for one have to come to the conclusion that the ever tightening political and financial control by the government that Mr. Gore is experiencing is because of his attempt to get out the truth about the environment and Bush wants to control and surpress it.

I do not think Fox News is being suppressed, quite the contrary. So knowing the underhanded dealings of Bushco you have to come to the conclusion that they are behind this to. I am sorry but I just do not trust anything that is said or done during this misadministration.

Iran poses no threat? Look at our past experiences Below the fold and you tell me!

Ahmadinejad said Saturday that his country poses no threat to Israel, and that no one can deprive Iran of its right to nuclear technology.
No one can deprive a nation of its rights based on its capabilities," he said in a speech to inaugurate a new phase of a heavy-water reactor project southwest of Tehran.
Iran is not a threat to anybody, not even to the Zionist regime," he said, using the Islamic Republic's term for arch-enemy Israel, which it does not recognize.
The Iranian president affirmed Iran's right to develop nuclear technology even if sanctions are imposed.
They may impose some restrictions on us under pressure. But will they be able to prevent the thoughts of a nation? Will they be able to prevent the progress
and technology of a nation? They have to accept the reality of a powerful, peace-loving and developed Iran. This is in the interest of all governments and all nations whether they like it or not," he said

Iranian Vice President Gholamreza Aghazadeh, who also heads the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, said the plant's production is 16 tons of heavy water with a purity of 15 percent per year, and 80 tons of heavy water with a purity of nearly 100 percent. He said the facility will be used to treat AIDS and cancer and for other medicinal and agricultural purposes.

Western nations accuse Iran of seeking to master technology to produce nuclear weapons. Iran, the world's fourth largest oil exporter, insists its aim is only for electricity.
Iran's deputy parliament speaker, Mohammad Reza Bahonar, warned the West in comments published by Iran's Sharq newspaper on Saturday that putting pressure on the country could prompt public calls for Iran to pursue a weapons program.

Be afraid of the day that the Iranian nation comes into the streets and stages demonstrations to ask the government to produce nuclear weapons to combat the threats," he said.

The United States has warned of swift action on sanctions. Britain, Germany and France have been less conclusive in public. Russia and China, both trade partners of Iran, have been unwilling and could veto sanctions in the Security Council. http://www.haaretz.com/...

First I have to say that it is ludicrous for Iran to say they are not a threat to Israel who they want to annihilate. Since in the past they expressed a desire to spread nuclear proliferation throughout the entire Muslim world, I feel they are a threat to everyone with the anti western feelings of much of Islam.
I do believe sanctions will backfire but what is that about using the nuclear facility to treat AIDS and cancer and for other medicinal and agricultural purposes?

With this and all the past events in mind you now hear that the US believes Japan and the European trio - Germany, France, and Britain - will provide the base for international rallying outside the Security Council in the case that Russia and China block the sanctions. http://www.ynetnews.com/...

Another coalition of the willing! Oh yeah that works, right! Here we go again! Look at the steps that have led us to this point and you tell me where you think this will all lead and end!

Iran empowered to flaunt UN on Uranium enrichment! launches new nuclear project!

Yesterday Iran pushes the issue, upping the ante. Instead of halting uranium enrichment Iran's president launches a new nuclear project. Ahmadinejad spoke at the launch of a new phase in the Arak heavy-water reactor project yesterday, just days ahead of a United Nations deadline for Iran to halt uranium enrichment or face possible sanctions. The UN Security Council set an Aug. 31 deadline for Iran to halt uranium enrichment.
"No one can deprive a nation of its rights based on its capabilities," Mr Ahmadinejad said in his speech to inaugurate the project. He said his country was not a threat to anybody, including Israel, which he identified as a "definite enemy". http://www.telegraph.co.uk/...

After the cease fire was first put into effect we heard more false bravado coming from U.S. officials this time saying that Iran would cooperate with demands that they curtail uranium enrichment as a result of the Israeli Hezbollah war.
http://www.azcentral.com/...

. We said that Hezbollah would be strengthened and Iran was only empowered to now flaunt the UN requests and continue with their nuclear program as Israel and the U.S. showed our weaknesses. http://www.dailykos.com/...

Iran's Ahmadinejad reiterates constantly that Iran will not give in to threats from the United Nations, referring to the resolution though he didn't not specifically mention it.We knew they were just playing games and killing time. They already said they will not stop and we seem to not be able to make them. Bush has created too many ongoing crises
"Iran's final answer as we knew long ago: "If some think they can still speak with threatening language to the Iranian nation, they must know that they are badly mistaken," he said in a speech broadcast live on state-run television. http://www.cnn.com/....
You know Iran and Ahmadinejad are a threat if only because they continue to butt heads with Bush! Ahmadinejad will prosecute his nuclear objectives until Bush has his reason to attack Iran and Ahmadinejad and Bush have their war. Iran and the entire middle east will be embroiled and this can not be turned around now by diplomacy. Bush has set the wheels of dissention in motion and they will not stop turning for a long while.

A Facade of Diplomacy Before the Undiplomatic long planned attack on Iran, Then....!

Two recent newspaper articles have prompted me to reprint this as there is much speculation as to what is happening in the middle east and why. The Washington Post was questioning whether Bush was paving the road to Iran. http://blog.washingtonpost.com/....

The Sentinal Enterprise was trying to figure out recent developments in Lebanon, what it all meant, and why Israel was acting the way they were. Sentinal: If Hezbollah is disarmed and demoralized, explain why the Israelis reserve the right to pursue them "everywhere and at all times" despite the cease fire. http://www.sentinelandenterprise.com...

It is very obvious! You will hear answers to these and many more questions below. Many of you know I have been saying for quite a while that Bush will do or say anything in order to follow his Russian Doctrine of Destruction for new societal, middle east, and world order, His plan at the link!
http://www.anaveragepatriot.com/....

I knew Bush purposely upset the middle east, Iraq would be lost, Iran attacked, and the entire middle east will be embroiled. Thanks to Shergald, a diarist on kos, I now have the proof.

In this short policy memo, which Netanyahu, and his successor-Likud Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, totally adopted as the core strategy of their administrations, spelled out a four-pronged attack on the peace process and the entire Arab world. It has become a self-evident truth that, since the Bush "43" and Sharon governments came into power simultaneously in early 2001, "A Clean Break" has been the guiding strategic doctrine of both--particularly following the irregular warfare attacks on New York and Washington on Sept. 11, 2001.
The Perle-Wurmser policy document demanded: 1) Destroy Yasser Arafat and the Palestinian Authority, blaming them for every act of Palestinian terrorism, including the attacks from Hamas, an organization which Sharon had helped launch during his early 1980's tenure as Minister of Defense. 2) Induce the United States to overthrow the Saddam Hussein regime in Iraq. 3) Launch war against Syria after Saddam's regime is disposed of, including striking Syrian military targets in Lebanon, and targets in Syria proper. 4) Parlay the overthrow of the Ba'athist regimes in Baghdad and Damascus into the "democratization" of the entire Arab world, including through further military actions against Iran, Saudi Arabia, and "the ultimate prize," Egypt http://www.larouchepub.com/....

The timeline for this is a little different than what we now know. As for the reality of what the real reasons and goals for all this, we will never know. I will again guarantee you that there will be a new middle east order. It will be total disorder and no one will like it. With Bush and Israel wanting their idea of a new middle east order and the so called Islamist's wanting their conflicting version, they have guaranteed a disastrous result for the entire middle east and Bush promises to keep our troops in the middle of it regardless!

In Politics you must frame the debate: Dems must command control of the Issues Now!

In politics, you have to frame the debate. That's what both parties are trying to do right now. Democrats can win this if we highlight the failure in Iraq and the middle east, the failures in the war on terror, The failure to the average American. The failing of our safety net for the lower classes.
The failure of the economy to the lower classes. the drastic rise in food stamp use, up 33 % since Bush. The success in further enriching the rich. The way big business and industry has benefited with repugs. The tremendous abuse of our legal system and our laws.
Run on taking "our" America back for "we the people". we must get rid of "Bush's" America for "we the rich" This repug idea of a new society and government has been a total failure to the average American. Only the rich, big business, and so called fundamentalist's have benefited.
Republicans want to frame the debate around the war on terror. Why? Because they believe it's their issue. Is it? The latest CNN poll shows Americans think Republicans in Congress would do a better job dealing with terrorism than Democrats. But not by a big margin -- 48 to 38 percent.
Democrats want to frame the debate around the war in Iraq. Why? Same reason. Americans believe Democrats would do a better job than Republicans dealing with Iraq. Again, by a narrow margin -- 47 to 41 percent.
The poll results mean that most Americans do not see either party with a decisive advantage on terrorism or on Iraq.
Most Americans have made up their minds about one thing -- they're fed up with Iraq. Nearly two-thirds of Americans oppose the war. Only 35 percent support it. That's the lowest level of support we've ever seen in one of our polls.
President Bush wants to flip that around. He's trying to rebuild support for the war in Iraq by persuading people that it's part of the war on terror. "I repeat what our leading general said in the region,'' President Bush said at his news conference on Monday. "He said that if we withdraw before the job is done, the enemy will follow us here. I strongly agree with that.''
http://www.cnn.com/...

I must say that in reality and if childish lying Bushco rhetoric could be combated and successfully beaten down, we are the best to fight the so called war on terror. No one at this point is going to turn a blind eye to terrorism. we will make sure things are done right for we the people and our America if you want control over you life.
We are the best to fight Bush's war in Iraq! It is right to withdraw at some point and put Iraq on notice. If they want their democracy we will find out real quick because if they do not stand up and fight they will be killed.
If we stay there Iraq is lost already., Even if we take over the middle east will totally erupt. Bush set this in action by ignoring all good advice and attacking Iraq thus unsettling the entire region so he could institute his and Israel's new order. No one will stop this now regardless of what Bush thinks or says.
Bush wants to flip the publics opinion around but he better not. We are right! He says if we leave Iraq now the terrorists will follow us here. I hate to tell you, follow us next year or 10 years from now, follow us they will. We are best served by bringing our forces home to defend the homeland and deploy where they must from here. http://www.dailykos.com/...
Stand up and fight back! Keep speaking the truth highlighting loudly their lies! This is our America!

High time for the Truth:rhetoric aside we must bring soldiers home to fight from the home front!

I wonder when our so called leaders are going to wake up and realize that no matter what mindless rhetoric Bush spews forth, no matter how many troops he involuntarily recalls or extends to fight in Iraq, Iraq is already lost. His original plan for new middle east and world order will happen but not in any way Bush or Israel want or could imagine.
I am concerned for my sons and all in the military knowing this is still just starting. I just hung up from talking with my son who just got his wings. Very hairy especially hearing today that up to 35,000 can eventually be called back to duty. They started mailing out notices today. They will be recalling them in groups of 2,500 to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan because of shortages.
It must have gotten by me because I didn't realize about 14,000 army have already been called back up. Anything so Bush can avoid a new draft. It will be a necessity when Bush attacks Iran, things get worse in Iraq and they will, or things break out somewhere else and they also will.
I don't think I told you but I guarantee you that 9/11 was allowed to happen in order to get the people and the world behind this so called war on terror. Bush just didn't expect it to be so horrific, at least I hope.
Thus the 9/11 attack was not deviated into Iraq and then the entire middle east. 9/11 was the excuse to attack Iraq and proceed with Bush and Israel's new middle east order.
After reading that perle wurmser document I now know I was right about all I have been saying. Afghanistan too will be lost! Bush guaranteed a loss there too by attacking Iraq and unsettling the entire region. It will soon get a lot worse!
2) Induce the United States to overthrow the Saddam Hussein regime in Iraq. 3) Launch war against Syria after Saddam's regime is disposed of, including striking Syrian military targets in Lebanon, and targets in Syria proper. 4) Parlay the overthrow of the Ba'athist regimes in Baghdad and Damascus into the "democratization" of the entire Arab world, including through further military actions against Iran... http://www.larouchepub.com/...
I get pretty disturbed when I hear his stay the course until victory rhetoric because he did all of this on purpose, he ensured a war for a long time and it seems only for political gain and his wartime economy, and 2 of my sons are in this with 2 more of age.
It is time for Bush to realize and admit to his original plan. Realize it has already failed, stop killing soldiers and civilians needlessly, and bring out troops home. The so called war on terror will be fought in America and Iraq and the middle east will fail whether we leave next year or stay forever. Our brave troops will when all is said and done, be needed to defend the home front and they can help where they can from here.!
Bush must realize his program to have a new middle east and world order has failed and get back to what should really matter, America, and regroup! He has created quite a mess and it is still just getting started. Someone better wake up, realize this, engage brain, and act accordingly before it is too late!

Bush's Terrible plan for new middle east order from the get go! now I have the proof! This is not good!

I was looking at the notes I took down last night from the various articles I had from Bush's most recent Rant on Iraq. Like you, I find his senseless babble very disturbing. Especially knowing that he is going to say or do anything to follow his plan for new world order. Very Frustrating Watching the middle east Explode, the truth Ridiculed and Bush Deny the Facts!

Knowing what is happening in the middle east as we speak, Remember way back when, we said Israel would be Bush's excuse to attack Iran completing the process of his new middle east order? http://www.dailykos.com/...

Also, we said 2 weeks ago that the cease fire was designed to fail This situation in the middle east will not be stopped. Diplomacy will not work. It will merely serve to buy Israel more time to achieve their goal. This as you could expect is a no go to Lebanon, Iran, and Syria! It will get much worse until the entire middle east is engulfed.
Bush's unstoppable middle east breakdown and new middle east (dis)order is well under way.But he hasn't miscalculated or made a mistake as we
continuously hear. He has done it all on purpose as part of his new middle east and world order. We have been discussing this for years now. It seems like a total failure to most of us but it so far too Bush is thought of as a success!
Bush right from the start has said he is straightening out the middle east as God told him to do. He later denied it but the Palestinian PM and his assistant testified to this. He said from the beginning that he wanted a new middle east order. He has done his best to achieve this, ignoring events when it serves his purpose while influencing others. There are no shortages of examples!
The middle east is breaking down not because Bush has failed but rather because he has succeeded in his plan for new middle east order! http://www.dailykos.com/...

Knowing now that Israel has broken the cease fire putting it in jeopardy by going deep into Lebanon and reserves the right to do it again. http://www.northjersey.com/...

Don't you now think that Israel is purposely inciting emotions in order to egg on Syria, Iran, Hezbollah, anyone, in order to further Bush and Israel's plan for new middle est order? It will fail however because Islamist interests want their idea of a new order. They of course conflict and all parties involved will lose!

It is worsened by the fact that we do hear the truth and the facts, this time by Senator Kerry even though it is too late to stop this breakdown and he will be ridiculed and discounted! http://sfgate.com/...

To finish off your frustration you have Bush still refusing to admit to the living, failing, hell on earth he has created for Iraqi's that are now being killed at the rate of more than 100 per day far surpassing Saddam! This is his most recent speech on freeing millions in Iraq! http://www.whitehouse.gov/...
Remember, He wants to do for Iran what he did for Iraq! Don't forget! He wants to spread Iraq's successful Democracy! We are in trouble. We all see the facts and the truth, It continues to be denied, and we are powerless to prevent Bush's middle east breakdown. I am listening to the asshole speak right now and he does not get the fact that Iran will not stop and his entire plan will fail!

tolerance, truth, lack there of, Increase with technology as we slide into Decadadent Irrelevance!

As I lay in bed last night reflecting on the days experiences and lessons learned. I thought of an interesting quote I responded to on http://www.questionitnow.org

Laws alone cannot secure freedom of expression: in order that every man present his views without penalty there must be a spirit of tolerance in the entire population."

- Albert Einstein
Out of My Later Years

I also thought of the discussion we had yesterday in regards to Bush's lies , my way or the highway, following
of his new world order. Allowing no tolerance anywhere in the world of anyone and truth not to be found. There is no tolerance of freedom of expression from Bush!

Bush's Hezbollah lies Just the latest in planned new world order in middle east!
Bush declared Hezbollah the loser Monday in the month-long fight with Israel in Southern Lebanon and again blamed the militant group for the outbreak of the conflict. http://www.dailykos.com/...

I thought of an ongoing debate between those on the right and left occurring on http://www.teambio.org where it was getting very ignorant, biased, and total intolerance of the truth again coming from the Right. People anonymously saying what they wanted no matter how wrong and harmful to our America it was.
I thought of how I felt I was not getting cooperation and the truth from someone who I was paying to help me update my web site and I couldn't verify the truth.
I remembered how nice it was yesterday canoeing under the Old North Bridge in Concord yesterday. It made me realize something! With all the debates and interaction going on daily, technology has only served to enable one to express themselves' while hiding the facts as to who they are, enabling them to only further their self interests with no accountability.

I realized all this freedom of expression and technology is only serving to take us further away from where our founding fathers intentions. It is only furthering the abuse of freedom of expression. Bush does that very well in person.
That said, it is all serving to further us along the road to societal decadence and irrelevance that every great civilization in the world has gone.

*One last sobering note! One of my sons just finished combat training in preparation for deployment to Afghanistan. He said the training was abnormally tough and that they were deploying him sooner than planned and he would be there longer.
I am concerned because thanks to Bush attacking Iraq and destabilizing the middle east it is now getting worse everywhere and has guaranteed a loss everywhere. This concern is heightened by the fact that Jim goes to Iraq if he survives Afghanistan.
I am right now listening to McCain talk about how bad it is in Iraq and knowing that Iraq is in civil war I have to be very concerned wondering how bad will Iraq be when my son gets there as Bush refuses to face reality and accept views of common sense as he ignores freedom of expression and everything else? Finishing! McCain is hoping to avoid war with Iran. I will guarantee you, Bush does not, through Israel Bush will justify his attack on Iran.

Bush's Hezbollah lies Just the latest in planned new world order in middle east!

Bush declared Hezbollah the loser Monday in the month-long fight with Israel in Southern Lebanon and again blamed the militant group for the outbreak of the conflict.
Hezbollah suffered a defeat in this crisis,' Bush said after meeting with his national security team Monday at the State Department in Washington.
'How can you claim victory when, at one time, you were a state within a state, safe within southern Lebanon, and now you're going to be replaced by a Lebanese army and an international force?'
Its very easy! Look at the facts and tell the truth! Something foreign to Bush I know!
He also said. 'We recognize that responsibility for this suffering lies with Hezbollah,'
http://news.monstersandcritics.com/....

None of that is the truth! Hezbollah is still a state within a state. In fact they last night thwarted an Israeli commando attack. They have been giving those that lost their homes to Israel's attack $12,000 cash. They have been supplying medicine, food, supplies, etc. In contrast, what has the Lebanese Government done for the people? Hezbollah thanks to Bush and Israel have in fact become heroes to Muslims and the Lebanese people. I can only see them with a stronger role in the Lebanese Government.
Bush's most recent lies about the truth involving Hezbollah are just the latest in his attempt to follow his plan for new societal, middle east, and world order.
http://www.anaveragepatriot.com/....
What we see as a refusal to see and face reality is being done only in order to follow his plan for new world order. At this point he cannot do anything to stop the middle east breakdown he set in motion by ignoring all good advice and unsettling the region by attacking Iraq.
Israel attacking Hezbollah has served only to pit Bush's planned new middle east and world order on the next level. until his plan comes to its ugly end and there will be no winners in Bush's planned new world order! http://www.dailykos.com/....

Hezbollah Won't be Disarmed! Declared part of Lebanese Army! They're headed to the Border! Think about this!

Look at the facts! Think about the reality! Remember what we said would be the next step to Bush’s new middle east order! “UN Buffer In Lebanon: Key to Iran attack and completion of Bush’s new ME order”!! http://www.dailykos.com/…
Think about this knowing past experience & again the obvious is never mentioned! They can’t possibly think this cease fire is going to work!
As all sides prepare for Lebanese and international troops to replace the Israeli army in Lebanon in as early as 10 days, officials in Europe, America, and Lebanon have made clear that the resolve to confront and disarm Hezbollah in the aftermath of the war is fast eroding.
Knowing that this Lebanon crisis has occurred under the watch of the U N who is now supposed to keep an eye on the border and help to do God knows what!
Knowing U.N. officials say that within 10 days to two weeks, 3,500 troops will join the 2,000-troop UNIFIL stationed in southern Lebanon since 1978, to aid the Lebanese army that yesterday started deploying south of the Litani River. http://www.nysun.com/…
Knowing Lebanon’s President has described Hezbollah guerrillas are “an integral part of the Lebanese army,” and that they should not be forced to disarm.
http://www.adnki.com/…

Now think about this! We know that the Lebanese army is already on the way to the border and we are led to believe they will have the 15,000 troops on the border in a month. we know Lebanon’s President has declared Hezbollah an integral part of Lebanon’s military. We are also hearing that the U.N. troop deployment could take until February and maybe even a year.
You have to ask yourself a few things! We can’t possibly think we will keep men and arms from coming across the border? What will happen with a years time with Lebanon’s? Hezbollah’s army to prepare for action? This will not be stopped Diplomatically! That should be a fact! Now, with Hezbollah on the loose, not disarmed, and them being declared an integral part of Lebanon’s military, think about this!
Just what is the Lebanese army going to be doing? who will they be helping? Last but not least, who will they be fighting. This middle east breakdown initiated by Bush’s attack on Iraq will not be controlled or stopped now. Iraq has failed and the entire middle east will follow. Just watch and weep! http://www.dailykos.com/…

Elections this fall will be Hairy, very contentious, and closer than they should be but we must win!

With rising hopes and fortunes of Democrats for the fall elections I feel the urgency to remind some and warn us all of complacency and Repug underhanded politics where winning is the only measure not being right, honest, or doing for “we the people”.
After the Democratic victory in Connecticut Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean issued a statement pointing to strong turnout in the primaries and declaring that Democratic voters “are energized.”
Westport Democrat Diane Farrell, who is running for Congress, said that Connecticut voters made a profound statement.
They have said they support change over the status quo. And they have said that the Bush policy in Iraq is unacceptable,” she said.
My own feeling is that there is a growing feeling against Bush’s losing Iraq war but even more! It is a growing distrust of Bush, his harmful idea of a new societal, middle east, and world, order, his asinine insistence of democratizing the middle east and the world at all costs, and against anyone that backs his mispolicies.
I must warn about getting cocky! Victory in the fall is not a foregone conclusion!
Republican Party chairman Ken Mehlman, speaking to the City Club of Cleveland, said that the Democratic Party has embraced an isolationist, defeatist and “blame America first” attitude.
Cheney said there is a significant segment of the Democratic Party that wants to return to “a pre-9-11 mind-set.
Snow said the immediate withdrawal from Iraq that Democrats advocate would leave a power vacuum there. A white flag, in short, means a white flag in the war on terror Snow said. http://www.connpost.com/...

Of course none of this is true but their incessant use of these and other obvious lies only to keep in office at all costs is harmful to America and sadly it works for them. In light of rising Democratic fortunes it will only get worse! Victory not honesty is the order of the day!

Suspicions that the Bush administration might have had political motives in wanting the arrests made prematurely are fed by memories of events two years ago: The Department of Homeland Security declared a terror alert just after the Democratic National Convention, shifting the spotlight away from John Kerry — and, according to Pakistani intelligence officials, blowing the cover of a mole inside al-Qaida.

Whether or not there was something fishy about the timing of the latest terror announcement, there’s the question of whether the administration’s scare tactics will work.
If current polls are any indication, Republicans are on the verge of losing control of at least one chamber of Congress.
On every issue other than terrorism and homeland security,” says Newsweek about its latest poll, “the Dems win.” Can a last-minute effort to make a big splash on terror stave off electoral disaster? http://www.azstarnet.com/...
I am afraid that it could!
Bush hailed the disruption last week of the plot to blow up U.S.-bound airliners with liquid explosives. He said because of the counter terrorism efforts of the United States and its allies, “America is safer than it has been, yet it is not yet safe.”
U.S. safety looms as a major issue in the midterm elections Nov. 7. Both Republicans and Democrats are maneuvering for the political advantage in an election where control of Congress is at stake. http://www.cbsnews.com/...

Bush is doing his share of trying to ignite fear among Americans and gain political points by claiming they alone can keep them safe.
I am afraid many will fall for their lying and underhanded politics again and it will work for them again! We must remain focused on their 3D politics(deceitful, deceptive, divisive, politics) and defeat their disinformation campaign.

This has become all important to me and our America. We must get it back because I do not think we or the country can survive much more of this and neither can the middle east or the world. If interested, look at his sobering doctrine of destruction!
It isn’t good and it might be too late because Bush has been allowed too much time and he is too far along with his idea of a new societal, middle east, and world order and will do and say anything as you know in order to complete his plan which will end in disorder and worse. http://www.anaveragepatriot.com

Bush, Israel, Hezbollah, Biased Journalists: Where's the truth? You must find it yourself!

Once again Bush refuses to think or learn anything from his many past mistakes! He often says too that we must learn from the past as in Vietnam or we are doomed to repeat the past. Meanwhile as we all know, he refuses to learn anything, repeats every single mistake, and continues to make the stupidest most Dead wrong public statements that only serve to fuel the fire in the middle east, will be proven dead wrong, And he has no problem what so ever looking stupid!

When things blow up as they will once again he will merely express surprise, apologize, say things happen that you can't plan on, and many people stupidly believe him and let him get away with it. Look at the most recent line of crap from all sides and then digest it and come out with the truth as you must in every instance today.

President Bush today said Hezbollah suffered "a defeat" in its month long war against Israel. "Hezbollah started the crisis, and Hezbollah suffered a defeat in this crisis," Bush said after meeting at the State Department with Secretary Rice and her foreign policy team.
Conceding that the terrorist group has "a fantastic propaganda machine," Bush said Hezbollah lost because a still-forming international force will become "the new power" in southern Lebanon.
"Lebanon can't be a strong democracy when there is a state within a state and that's Hezbollah," he said.
http://www.latimes.com/...

Hezbollah Defeated! What? Is this defeated like Saddam's army, defeated like the Iraqi dead enders, or defeated like the growing insurgency that civilians depend on for security? He is only setting us up and getting us deeper into his original plan for a new middle east order. Listen to these facts from Hezbollah and think for yourself!

Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah also declared that his guerrillas achieved a "strategic, historic victory" over Israel. But President Bush said Hezbollah was defeated, and Israel's prime minister maintained the offensive eliminated the "state within a state" run by the militants in southern Lebanon.
http://abcnews.go.com/...

Although Israel claims Hezbollah uses civilians to shield their military activities, members of Hezbollah go door to door to distribute much needed food, medicine, sanitation and water kits to Lebanese civilians living in villages under Israeli bombardment.
The Lebanese Shiite community of 1.2 million people support Hezbollah's struggle against Israel. However, Hezbollah received even greater support when the organization launched a wide reaching aid campaign in southern Lebanon.
Israeli attacks have destroyed nearly all of Hezbollah buildings; however, Hezbollah continues to distribute much needed aid to the civilians.
In Beirut, Hezbollah distributes food to thousands of people sheltering in schools in the city to escape the bombing. Hezbollah also established medicine distribution centers. Volunteer doctors from the Hezbollah organization provide health services for people in towns directly under threat of Israeli bombardment.

Aside from five hospitals, 14 clinics and 12 schools have been established around the country. Hezbollah owns charitable institutions providing medical aid and education to the weak and poor, and the "Martyr Foundation" provides health, education and other public services to needy Shiites.
Hezballah Holy Reconstruction Department is another Hezbollah organization that provides support services to members, new recruits, and supporters of Hezbollah. These services range from medical care to financial aid, housing, and public utilities. http://www.zaman.com/...

As in Vietnam and in Iraq Hezbollah has not and will not be defeated regardless of biased rhetoric. They have merely dissolved into the environment where they are helping the citizens, directing traffic, helping rebuild the country, and with the backing of the people will live to come out and fight another day.

Nothing has been won! this is merely another step to total mid east breakdown and a new societal order in which Bush, Israel, Iran, Hezbollah, no one will get what they want or like.

Bush got this started and Israel attacking Lebanon merely put the middle east breakdown on the next level! Hezbollah will not be reined in but will be strengthened instead. No one seems to realize the extent of Muslim nationalist emotions!
From the viewpoint of a totally unbiased observant:
Iraq is lost, the entire middle east will be embroiled as it is getting. Bush and Israel will have their new middle east order but none of us will like it!
Bush's unstoppable middle east breakdown and new middle east (dis)order is well under way. But he hasn't miscalculated or made a mistake as we continuously hear. He has done it all on purpose as part of his new middle east and world order. We have been discussing this for years now.
It seems like a total failure to most of us but it so far to Bush is thought of as a success! . He has not only taken us for a ride but his own party.

The middle east is breaking down not because Bush has failed but rather because he has succeeded!
I have tried to wake up Senator Kerry, Congress, the Media, everyone, as to what is happening and why! It is all spelled out in a Doctrine of Fact/Bush Uncovered. I wrote it 3 years ago but is more telling today than ever! http://www.anaveragepatriot.com please look at it! everything Bush has done here, in the middle east, and around the world, would make instant sense if they would read it, but Nooooo! Please feel free to email a copy to whoever! http://www.dailykos.com/...

Life with Islam: Like living in a hive of angry bees! Bush's Movements just makes them angrier!

We are making things worse not better as Bush thinks & he will make it worse!
http://www.time.com/....
After a month we were seeing more rockets than ever! Hezbollah appears unshaken!

One of the reasons that the bitter fighting between Israel and Hezbollah has been so difficult to halt is that it is a symptom of much deeper fault-lines in the region. Many analysts see it as part of a wider conflict that pits the United States against Iran and Syria. But the crisis has also highlighted some fundamental shifts within the Arab world. http://news.bbc.co.uk/....
Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah has positioned himself to be a more
influential player than ever in the event of an Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon, taking advantage of a Lebanese government paralyzed by a complicated ethnic power-sharing system and a weak national army still reeling from decades of Syrian occupation
http://www.boston.com/....
And we expect Lebanon's army to help the UN?

The Baghdad security plan, which some cast as the last chance to avert a civil war, will be thwarted by Iraq's prime minister because he is unwilling to tackle the country's biggest security threat, many residents and politicians fear.
http://www.mercurynews.com/....
Iraq is in civil war and it will only get worse as the entire middle east gets involved!
http://www.dailykos.com/....

Violence in Afghanistan is at its worse and despite efforts, continues to worsen!
http://english.aljazeera.net/....
We have talked about Syria and Pakistan wanting to help Hezbollah!
Then there's last nights 60 minutes interview of Ahmadinejad! Very disturbing!
http://news.yahoo.com/....

Bush continues to think he is winning something! http://www.hindustantimes.com/....
It is still starting and getting worse!

This is just a fraction of the realities of this so called war on terror. Bush calls this winning? we are winning the hearts and minds of terrorists that is what Bush is winning! Bush's policies are serving only to create a growing supply of enemies and increased Islamist martyrs.
We are listening to Bush say not to politicize this while his attack dogs say a vote for Democrats is a vote for Al Qaeda and insecurity!
Quite the opposite is true as usual! A vote for Repugs is a vote for to continue Bush's new societal, middle east, and world order. It guarantees an increase in societal decadence, an increase of enemies, and further middle east breakdown. We must get people to understand all this!
I have to fear the scenario in the link! Tell me what you think!

U.S. plans Israel Attack! cease fire set up! Hezbollah winners! No new order! an Inconvenient truth!

THE US Government was closely involved in the planning of Israel's military operations against Islamic militant group Hezbollah even before the July 12 kidnapping of two Israeli soldiers, The New Yorker magazine reported in its latest issue.

Pulitzer Prize-winning US journalist Seymour Hersh writes that US President George W.Bush and Vice-President Dick Cheney were convinced that a successful Israeli bombing campaign against Hezbollah could ease Israel's security concerns and also serve as a prelude to a potential US pre-emptive attack to destroy Iran's nuclear installations. Iraq taught them nothing! http://www.news.com.au/...

Finding out that the U.S. helped plan the attack on Lebanon does not bode well for Israel, the U.S., and the future of the middle east. That said, Israel, Lebanon, and Hezbollah have now agreed on the cease fire. However, with all the terms that must be met by all parties, it will not be kept!

Before she raised her hand to vote for the proposal, Rice said the time had come "to build a more hopeful future" in the region.

But the future of the Middle East may be markedly different as a result of the bloody drama that erupted July 12 after the seizure of two Israeli soldiers by Lebanon's Shiite militia. So, too, the image of the United States. What many now consider to be the sixth modern Middle East war has some distinct winners and losers, interviews with a range of former U.S. officials and Middle East analysts reveal.

I disagee with the article seying the outcome will be long debated. It wii not be! It is already obvious and will get much worse! Big losers at this stage appear to be Israel's government, the Lebanese people, and the Bush administration's struggle against terrorism and its campaign for democracy, these observers said.

In waging the longest Arab war against Israel, the big winner may be Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah -- for now. And political futures will shift!
http://www.washingtonpost.com/...

We have said from the beginning that Hezbollah would be stronger in the end, it will not be as a result of this cease fire and no one will like this new middle east (dis)order! http://www.dailykos.com/...

With all that said, this is much more at stake than political careers and a new middle east order! Remember Al Gore and an inconvenient truth? That should be the prime concern and no one seems to care what will be left!
There is so much more at stake than new order in the middle east! Realize this!
The nurturing stage is where man should be in his and the planets Life Cycle! However as the current unfolding middle east and world situation is proving, man is attempting to turn the clock back and nature works only in one direction, forward. We are acting like we are in the infantile stage and it will not work!
* The Nurturing Stage - This is mans mature stage. This is mans preservation period. The time is now. This period marks mans awakening as to the realization of mans negative impact on the life sustaining life cycle of the planet as a whole.
This period marks the awakening of man as to the as to the necessity of revitalizing Natures life sustaining ecosystems. This period marks the necessity for an end to all out war. We must form a world board to ensure compliance by the entire world. It is for the benefit and survival of mankind and the planet. We now know the fragility of our planet and our negative role in it. As a world we must act responsibly, be held accountable, and act accordingly.
* Man has taken his ability to live and learn, an ability that has sustained and nurtured him for thousand of years and forgotten he ever had it. It had served us well throughout are creativity.
Through the beginning of the 20th century man has been going through the maturity stages of his existence. Like a maturing teenager man now thinks he has all the answers. However he has none of the right ones.
Would you send your Grandmother off to war? That is something you can relate to. Likewise man and the planet can not survive a world war this late in the life cycle of man and the planet. Whoever ushers in a new world war must be held personally accountable for knowingly and unwittingly bring about the end of the civilized world and our planet.

Whether you believe in Nostradamus or not, he gave us two scenarios at this juncture in life. We had two roads we could follow into the future. We could take the peaceful road down a successful road into the future or we could take the road into conflict that would lead to destruction of man and the planet as we know them.

Sadly man seems to have chosen the 2nd road and with nuclear conflagration staring us in the face: We seem to be leading the way to our demise! If we are to have a future we must smarten up! It isn't just about the middle east! The full short story at the link!

The Growing World situation has Larger Implications than the Future Of Man!

Life’s Cycles!

A time line of Life’s Cycles and Where We Are in Them

The Dire Consequences if we do not respond adequately

Following is a timeline of mans and the planets life cycles, where we are in them, and the repercussions of not doing the right thing for humanity and the planet.

We should be using our militaries for the sole purpose of helping and ensuring honesty among the Nations of the world. There can be no action taken without the knowledge and complicity of all Nations that have the future of man and the planet as their goal. This is what we should have done with Iraq. This is what we should be doing with Iran, North Korea, and many other potential hot spots around the world today. We as the United States, must stop meddling and interfering with the Politics of other Nations around the world. We should be using our militaries not to wage war but to wage peace. Our military efforts after the tsunami were a shining example of the way our militaries should be used in the future. The world as a whole must be made to realize the fragility of our situation.

We can make this work despite the tenuous situation we have put ourselves in. With that said we must proceed and work as a world unit. It will not work as separate competitive entities as we have done in the past. We must Proceed into the future as one. We must proceed into the future with the future life of man and the planet as our only goal. Nothing less than the survival of man and the planet are at stake. Shortly the planets life sustaining ecosystems will no longer have the ability to sustain the current population of man.

We can not afford to destroy them altogether. That complete destruction and no less is what we have facing us right now. It would do man, the world well to wake up to that fact and act accordingly. This is exactly what will happen if there is another unnecessary world war. Countries must be made to realize that what they have today is all they are going to get. We can trade throughout the world for the items necessary for ones civilization and survival. However, the domination of the past must be history or we will be. We must take care of what we have. It is all we are going to get. The world must be made to realize that we march into the future with what boundaries and countries we have or suffer the dire consequences.

Our prime concern, our only concern at this point in mans and the planets life cycle has to be one of self reservation. The world must wake up to the fact that preservation of man and the planet has to be our only goal and ultimate victory. Shortly we will illustrate the life cycles in any life form and you will understand where man and the planet are in them today. We went into this in great detail in our first two books. It is very obvious and very plain, it bears repeating as we seem to be learning nothing. As we said in the past, life moves only in one direction, forward. We must not go back or attempt to go back to a cycle of life that man and the planet have already grown through and survived. We will not the next time. We have lived through the development stage of man and this planet. It is long overdue for us to get it together as a species and realize this and then face this important fact. We are now in the preservation stage of any life form. We have reached and passed the maturity stage of any life form as a species and as a planet. World wars, world dominance, world destruction, the times for that are passed. It is up to us as a world body to realize this and act accordingly.

Life’s stages

The aforementioned observances are the realization that this is not a utopian idea. It is absolutely necessary for mans survival. We must get the message to all countries of the world. Whosoever chooses to ignore the future of man and the planet must be held accountable for their action. We must get Nobel Laureate’s to publish papers on this subject. It is necessary to have someone reputable and believable write on the subject. They must sound the sense cal alarm. It must be published throughout the Nations of the world and filtered down through all levels of society. Below are the various stages of mans life cycles and where we are in them.

* The Infantile Stage – This is mans longest stage to date. With some luck we can surpass this in our maturity stage, our nurturing stage. Man was very much in his developmental stage. From mans beginning caveman day’s right up through The Dark Ages. Man was very much a live and learn being. You can not accuse man of that today. Man has lost this ability since what we will refer to as The Learning Stage. The 20th century seems to have killed this ability with its perceived lack of need. He now thinks he knows better and he knows everything. We know the thought as most of us have children. He wrongly thinks he has all the answers. We would do well to remember this phase of life.

* The Learning Stage – This period marks the end of The Dark Ages. The end of the Dark Ages coincidently enough is marked by another perfectly cyclical event known as the Christian Crusades. This was in a point of time appropriate for the horror. The horrific thing is that Islam is going through this cycle right now. Their version of the Christian Crusaders is the Islamist Jihadists. This is occurring at a point in time when mans and the planets life cycles are beyond accepting or tolerating this behavior. At the point of time of the horrors that the Christian Crusaders committed they were accepted and tolerated. This period covers the end of the Dark Ages up to the 20th century. This period covers the birth of mans great Religions. It covers the development of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. With the exception of the maturing of the Muslim Religion it marks the maturing of these Religions. It marks their role in the world order. This is again with the exception of the Muslim Religion. It is that time of Religious maturity which there is no place for in the world today. We, the world, humanity, have already gone through that. As a result we do not find what is happening with the Islamist Jihad particularly palatable. This period also opened the way for colonization. It marked the point in mans life cycle when the forceful taking of another country was the accepted norm. This was the time in mans and the planets life for needless pointless death and destruction. It was survivable by both man and the planet. This time is over and can no longer be accepted or tolerated.

*The Maturing Stage – This period includes WW1, WW2, and the recognition of man made hazards to mans and the planets life. This was the period in mans and the planets life cycles when world war was survivable by man and the planet. Our weapons are now too horrific for man or the planet to survive. Life only moves in one direction and for a reason. We can not allow any Nation to try and slide backwards and return to those ways. The time for that in the life cycle of the planet is over. We are becoming aware as to the frailty of the planets life sustaining ecosystems.

* The Nurturing Stage – This is mans mature stage. We must come to the realization that as a world we must destroy all advanced weaponry and their systems throughout the world. This is an absolute necessity for the survival of man and the planet. We must form a world board to ensure compliance by the entire world. It is for the benefit and survival of mankind and the planet. We now know the fragility of our planet and our negative role in it. As a world we must act responsibly, be held accountable, and act accordingly.

** Man has taken his ability to live and learn, an ability that has sustained and nurtured him for thousand of years and forgotten he ever had it.

We could take the peaceful road down a successful road into the future or we could take the road into conflict that would lead to destruction of man and the planet as we know them.

Pakistani General: U.S. Will Attack Iran and Syria! Blow me away! Remember this?

The United States will launch an attack on Iran and Syria in October, a former top official in Pakistani intelligence claims.

Retired Maj. Gen. Hameed Gul, former chief of Pakistan’s Inter-Service Intelligence, told reporters that the United States. would definitely attack the two Muslim countries and condemned his own country’s weak reaction to Israel’s military campaign in Lebanon.

He also predicted that after Iran and Syria, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan itself would be targeted by the United States.

A frightening report written by another retired Pakistani military officer, Maj. Tahir Ahmad, appeared in the Pakistani newspaper Khabrain and suggested that the Muslim nation might use its nuclear capability to attack Israel:

“[Gul] could confidently say that Pakistan was the only country in the Islamic world that could give a befitting response to Israel and defeat its designs.

“What could Lebanon or Hezbollah do against such awesome firepower? God had blessed Pakistan with nuclear capability; therefore, it should play a part in defending the Muslim world. Hezbollah’s and Iran’s leaderships were bold, but they were unable to respond to the attacks of a nuclear Israel. However, by the grace of God, if Pakistan made bold decisions, it could defeat Israel.” I do not have a link to this as it was an email sent by newsmax!

Experts think New Middle East may bring more extremism! Fact! It Will bring total breakdown!

The "new Middle East" being born out of the warfare in Lebanon may be one where Islamic extremists are even stronger and reformists are isolated amid widespread skepticism over U.S. promises of democracy, activists in the Arab world warn.
United States has painted Israel's campaign against Hezbollah as a necessary offensive against militants blocking democratic change in the region. During a Mideast tour, Rice called the fighting the "birth pangs of a new Middle East."
I must say, Islamic activist's are stronger, Bush's democratization and attack on Iraq got this started, and that was pretty stupid of Rice to say but they are pangs of a new middle east and no one will like it!

Bloodshed only fuels radicalism! "We would like to return to the old Middle East, because we don't see anything in the new Middle East apart from more problems," Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal, whose country is a strong backer of anti-Syrian and anti-Hezbollah politicians in Lebanon, told reporters.

Too late! That will never happen! This has been started and it will not be stopped now!

"Everyone wants a new Middle East, one that is blessed by democracy, freedoms and peace," Ammar Kurrabi, a human rights leader in Damascus, said Wednesday.

Forget it! That will not happen! Bush got this started and Israel attacking Lebanon merely put the middle east breakdown on the next level! Hezbollah will not be reined in but will be strengthened instead. No one seems to realize the extent of Muslim nationalist emotions!
From the viewpoint of a totally unbiased observant:
Israel's Olmert has good company in Bush as you know! Also, Hezbolah will not be defeated but strengthened by many around the middle east and the world.
It seems like a total failure to most of us but it so far too Bush is thought of as a success! What I am surprised to hear is that the likes of Senator Hagel did not realize what Bush was and is doing. He has not only taken us for a ride but his own party.

I do not believe a one of them remember Bush's own words or have seen the facts! Iraq will be lost, the entire middle east will break down, followed closely with WW3. All thanks to Bush's self professed desire for a new world order! http://www.dailykos.com/....
Thanks to Bush's insistence of democratizing the middle east, Iraq is a living hell on earth and he promises the same for the entire middle east, The entire middle east is now the front on the misnamed war on terrorism. I have said all along that like it or not, this will be a war with Islam and it will be long and wide. This is still just getting started so we are winning nothing as Bush thinks. http://www.dailykos.com/....

Cease fire meant to fail! Syria wants to join war! Bush's M E Breakdown well Under way!

I just want to preface this with saying that Bush today is saying that the negotiated cease fire would not be accepted by either side. Knowing this and knowing the fact that the proposal gives Israel everything they want and does not even address Hezbollah's demands and leaves Israeli's in Lebanon.

Arab analysts and diplomats in the Middle East were skeptical about the resolution having any chance of halting the fighting. "They are attempting to gain diplomatically what they failed to achieve militarily," said one diplomat with long experience in the Middle East. "I expect the cease-fire to be rammed through, but it will turn into a war of attrition."

Both Iran and Syria, supporters and suppliers of Hezbollah, rejected the resolution. "This draft is a recipe for the continuation of the war because it is not fair to Lebanon," Walid Moallem, Syria's foreign minister, said in Beirut. They want to put in a UN force when there is already one there and they know they are powerless to help the situation. In the past I have said many times that using the UN as a buffer would be the next step to Bush attacking Iran and a total middle east breakdown!
http://www.nytimes.com/....

This situation in the middle east will not be stopped. Diplomacy will not work. It will merely serve to buy Israel more time to achieve their goal to set up a buffer in Lebanon. This as you could expect is a no go to Lebanon, Iran, and Syria! It will get much worse until the entire middle east is engulfed and yesterday Syria has volunteered to do their share. They volunteered to join the war and welcome it.

SYRIA'S foreign minister yesterday offered to join militant group Hezbollah in its fight against Israel and said a regional war would be "most welcome" as more than 30 people in Israel and Lebanon were killed on one of the worst days since the conflict began. Also an Iranian drone was intercepted by Israel. It is spreading, not getting beaten.

Attention Diverted in The Middle east/ Do Nothing Congress continues to burn poor!

With our attention focused on Bush's failing middle east and policies we are diverted once again from the destruction of our America and lower class. I received quite an interesting proposal from Congress. It will never pass though even though in reality I believe its inception would force the economy to adjust and adapt, and in the end this proposal would work but special interests would scoff at it! More to follow!
we can agree we have a do nothing Congress!
Lou Dobbs: This Republican-led, do-nothing Congress is on its way home for a five-week vacation. I'm sure while there, they'll be glad to explain to their constituents why they need so much rest in a year in which they will work fewer than 80 days.
The Republicans in Congress have little to brag about when they return home. And the Democrats have a lot of explaining to do, as well. Once the party of the New Deal, Fair Deal and Great Society, the party of working men and women, the Democrats are now buried as deeply in the pockets of their corporate masters as are the Republicans.
The Democratic Party has played a major role in helping to pass legislation that is grossly injurious to middle-class Americans and their families.Read on, you know it gets worse! http://www.dailykos.com/...
They need a 5 week vacation from the exhaustion of doing nothing and trying to look busy. The Democrats want to wrest control of Congress from Republicans, and they have a better than average opportunity to accomplish the feat. The next five weeks just might be a good time for frustrated, disgusted constituents to ask what it will take to elect a Congress willing to represent working men and women and their families. http://www.cnn.com/...
We now know that Congress deep sixed the proposal to increase the minimum wage primarily because Republicans torpedoed it by attaching millions of dollars of tax cuts for the rich too it. The blame game begins!
Hours after Senate Democrats and a few Republicans killed a bill that would have raised the minimum wage, cut the "death tax" and extended a host of other tax breaks, the political blame game was in full swing, with both parties trying to protect themselves and score points as they headed home for a month long campaign session.
http://washingtontimes.com/...
Now, you know this will not go but I put my vote in for a YAY! thinking about it if selfish interest were set aside and Congress cared about :we the people" and equality in America, this would work.
Congress.org Weekly Update August 2, 2006

With Congress in recess, we will focus on your ideas on what Congress should be doing or laws they should consider. The first idea is from Lewisburg, KY.

"Automatically Raise the Minimum Wage Two Dollars an Hour Every Time We Elect a President."

We need to have a federal law where the minimum wage is increased by two dollars per hour every 4-years every time we elect a president until we reach a minimum wage of twelve dollars per hour that will keep all workers above the poverty wages and income scales in the USA."

Do you agree? Write to President Bush and Congress your views on this topic.
And the Senate is voting on a bill that ties increasing the minimum wage with a permanent decrease in the estate tax. Should the Senate support tying the two together?

*Support - Automatically Raising the Minimum Wage Two Dollars an Hour Every Four Years
http://www.congress.org/...

*Oppose - Automatically Raising the Minimum Wage Two Dollars an Hour Every Four Years
http://www.congress.org/...

This makes sense to me! What do you think about this, the middle east diversion, and the do nothing Congress?

Hezbollah Israeli war between Bush and Iran by Any name Middle East war by Proxy!

We had a discussion yesterday explaining that the war in the middle east is just beginning to erupt and was due to Bush himself as he said from the beginning that he wanted a new middle east order. as we said, this new middle east order we are witnessing in Iraq, Israel, and Lebanon, will spread through out the entire middle east as should have been expected by Bush.
Bush used to brag about how he was straightening out the middle east and his goal was to democratize it as he did and create a new order. Those are his own objectives and words from the get go. I would just like to see someone of consequence remind him of that.
You keep hearing the question who is responsible for the middle east
violence. They blame Hezbollah, Israel, Iran, everyone but Bush who set this all in motion. I will today and do often but I will ask you also to send this to Congress, the Senate, Your Senator, Anyone, to attempt to get someone to see reality and act on it. Bush's middle east breakdown will not be stopped though.
http://www.dailykos.com/....

Right now it is between Israel who is fighting for their and Bushco's interests and Hezbollah who is fighting for their and Iranco's interests. this is indeed a war very much by proxy!
I have seen so much conflicting feedback on what is happening in the Middle East any many of you know how I feel about the fact that Bush set what will be the total breakdown of the entire middle east in motion as part of his plan for new world order by attacking Iraq and unsettling the region. http://www.dailykos.com/....
We hear all the time that we must support Israel in her fight against terrorism as she is fighting for the interests of America.
http://www.chron.com/....

Then I caught sight of this article accusing Iran of fighting a war by proxy using Lebanon. So Hezbollah and others are fighting for Iran. This might all surprise you!
http://www.nysun.com/....
There are those like Bush and Iran who want to change the middle east landscape and are looking for others to prosecute this for them. The information in the article about Iran's proxy war was so telling I thought you should see it too.
The only thing that came to my mind is that is the author is biasedly accusing Iran of fighting a war by proxy using Lebanon but Bush is doing the same thing but using Israel,

Worse, the Shia commentators in Baghdad starting using the Arabic word "ihtilal," meaning occupation, to refer to the American and coalition presences.
The word "ihtilal" has a sinister connotation that communicates what Iran intends as it provokes the rage of the Shia of Iraq. "Ihtilal" means a completely unacceptable occupation, an occupation that must be resisted at all costs until it is extirpated and destroyed.

The Iranians are at the beginning of their war to defeat America, to subjugate their neighbors, and to isolate and destroy Israel. The rogues North Korea and Syria and Iran are working together shamelessly along with their terror proxies that are headquartered in Damascus, and they believe they are winning and that America is losing.

This concerns me but no more than watching what Bush is doing from his end. Meanwhile the peace loving and innocent in the middle east and everywhere are caught in the middle of Iran's and Bush's game that will end in the successful destruction of the middle east. http://www.dailykos.com/....

Bush by His own Admission Responsible for middle east violence!

I Just want to know why no one mentions or holds Bush accountable for the middle east problems he created?
No links! I just want to hold a discussion with you and find out why? let's review the facts and glaring ignorance of them. There is no new news here just the total ignorance of Bush's admitted goals and the total failure to remind him os his goal for new world and middle east order!
Hezbollah and Israel are killing each other and destroying their countries. Iran and Syria at the least, threatening to get involved. Jordan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and others warning of the entire middle east breaking down and being in turmoil.

It is my experience just from watching events and looking at the biased observations and reporting as we get here and everywhere today! Hezbollah will not be destroyed as we hear but will be strengthened in the end by many outside martyrs. We are hearing Israel say Hezbollah is 70% destroyed yet they are firing more rockets than ever. Non precision so far but?
It will be obvious to me when they not only find rockets made from Syria and other countries but when they start finding foreign fighters and precision rockets. They are already experiencing better longer range rockets.

Bush used to brag about how he was straightening out the middle east and his goal was to democratize it as he did and create a new order. Those are his own objectives and words from the get go. I would just like to see someone of consequence remind him of that.

You keep hearing the question who is responsible for the middle east violence. They blame Hezbollah, Israel, Iran, everyone but Bush who set this all in motion. I will today and do often but I will ask you also to send this to Congress, the Senate, Your Senator, Anyone, to attempt to get someone to see reality and act on it. Bush's middle east breakdown will not be stopped though!

I think we can all agree that the middle east has always had its share of conflict, some of it including the on going situations, due to our meddling. Prior to Bush's insistence on attacking Iraq "as God told him" in order to straighten out the middle east there was never an issue that embroiled the entire region!
Bush gave them that issue and the impetus to assert their own selfish interests as he himself is doing. Okay I lied! Thinking about it I have to include this link because we discussed today's reality 6 months ago. Remember this in February?
Explosive Built, Bush supplied the fuse,The Cartoons Lit It, Explosion commencing!
http://www.dailykos.com/....

As of yet I have not heard one politician, media source, or any blog beyond myself, try to hold Bush accountable for what he himself expressed as his goal in the middle east. Not just for the civil war he created in Iraq but for the majority of today's problems in the middle east and its total destabilization!
Palestine, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, he has had his hands in all of it and a lot more. His asinine insistence on spreading his perverted democracy! Why doesn't anyone of consequence ever remind him of this?
His no holds barred insistence of backing Israel's over acting over their captured soldiers has served to further his total middle east breakdown. He weaponizes them, finances them, and by the Senates own admission, they are doing Bush's dirty work too, so it is no wonder the entire middle east is now after us and Israel.
Turkey, Jordan, Egypt, and other so called Mid East allies are feeling the wrath of their citizens and their disdain for their leaders for supporting Bush and not speaking out against Israel and the U.S.
Every day Bush refuses to hold Israel accountable and allows them free reign for Lebanese destruction, guarantees further, Bush and Israel's new middle east order to be a total disaster of never before known proportions!
We are now hearing the Senate Repug's included, Generals, and other traditional supporters(at least in words), of Bush's Iraq debacle, are beginning to realize he lied to them and has created quite a mess but they still do not know just how bad his mess is going to get.
I hate to say it but in the big picture called the middle east, Iraq is peanuts. Ensuring the loss of Iraq is the least of his damage! He is almost solely responsible for this middle east turmoil that is still just beginning.
* No one seems to remember his stated goals, mention them, or attempts to hold The self professed "Decider" accountable for what he was bragging about for years now and the horrific results of his meddling! Why? Damn it! Why?

Iraq is in civil war! King right but Hezbollah will be stronger, middle east is lost! Rummy?

Rumsfeld, facing sometimes hostile questioning Thursday from members of the Senate Armed Services Committee, defended his handling of U.S. forces in Iraq as two of his top aides testified that the country is on the verge of sectarian civil war.
"I believe that the sectarian violence is probably as bad as I have seen it," said Gen. John Abizaid, head of the U.S. Central Command, adding that if something is not done soon, civil war is inevitable.
Rumsfeld, however, while not agreeing with Abizaid's assessment, insisted that the insurgency in Iraq is "resilient," but can be defeated. He said it is up to the Iraqi leaders to find a way to reconcile internal divisions there. For now,
however the US commitment to Iraq fulfills its own security needs as much as Iraq's, he said.
Rumsfeld's steadfast defense of the administration's Iraq policy brought on a stinging attack from Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, who told Rumsfeld he was presiding over a "failed policy" in Iraq and Afghanistan.

"Under your leadership there have been numerous errors in judgment that have led us to where we are," the New York Democrat said. "We have a full-fledged insurgency and full-blown sectarian conflict in Iraq." http://www.foxnews.com/....
Even The committee chairman, Senator John W. Warner, Republican of Virginia, signaled that political support for the conflict could be fraying. "I think we have to examine very carefully what Congress authorized the president to do in the context of a situation if we're faced with all-out civil war and whether we have to come back to the Congress to get further indication of support," Mr. Warner said.
http://www.arktimes.com/...

It is too late! They gave Bush another right, he lied and made it a wrong as usual! the damage is done! It will not be undone!
We have discussed many times that Iraq is already lost thanks to Bush's stupidity as he ignored all good advice from the beginning. Bush and Rummy just do not care and there is a good reason. They are getting the Breakdown they needed to create their new order. Please click on the link and you will see you are smarter than our so called leaders! http://www.dailykos.com/....

Jordan's king warned the United States and Israel Thursday that the fighting in Lebanon has weakened moderates across the Mid east.
Even if Hezbollah is destroyed, the hostility toward Israel is so high that another such group could pop up in Syria, Egypt, Iraq _ or even his own country, King Abdullah II was quoted as saying in published reports.

"The Arab people see Hezbollah as a hero because it's fighting Israel's aggression," he said. "This is a fact that the U.S. and Israel must realize: As long as there is aggression, there's resistance and there's popular support for this resistance."
The three-week-old conflict has sharply raised tensions across the Mid east, and leaders like Abdullah, a key U.S. ally who initially blamed Hezbollah for sparking the conflict by capturing two Israeli soldiers, have become increasingly critical of the United States and Israel.

Abdullah and other Arab moderates, such as the Egyptian and Saudi leaders, have warned recently that the fighting was hurting any hope for reviving Mid east peacemaking. http://www.washingtonpost.com/....

This too is right but too late. We have discussed many times in the past that Hezbollah in the end will be stronger, reinforced from martyrs in many nations and the middle east is just in the beginning of a total breakdown thanks to bush's new world order. Pleas check this out! You will agree I think! http://www.dailykos.com/....

Iraq will be lost, Afghanistan will be lost. Hezbolah will be stronger in the end, Bush will find reason to attack Iran the entire middle east will be embroiled then it will spread from there, again compliments of Bush's new world order!

RepuG do Nothing Congress Deep sixes Minimum Wage Increase? And Goes on Undeserved 5 Week Break?

Lou Dobbs: This Republican-led, do-nothing Congress is on its way home for a five-week vacation. I'm sure while there, they'll be glad to explain to their constituents why they need so much rest in a year in which they will work fewer than 80 days.
The Republicans in Congress have little to brag about when they return home. And the Democrats have a lot of explaining to do, as well. Once the party of the New Deal, Fair Deal and Great Society, the party of working men and women, the Democrats are now buried as deeply in the pockets of their corporate masters as are the Republicans.
The Democratic Party has played a major role in helping to pass legislation that is grossly injurious to middle-class Americans and their families.

This Congress, Republican-led with complicit Democrats, has cut $13 billion in college-student aid, passed numerous free-trade agreements that threaten good-paying jobs and approved an unconscionable bankruptcy law written by credit-card companies that is nothing less than a federal government heel in the neck of American families bankrupted by catastrophic illness and crushing medical bills. Why? Special interests monies?

In fact, 18 of the 44 Democrats in the Senate and 73 of the 201 Democrats in the House voted in favor of the creditor-friendly bankruptcy bill. They apparently either didn't bother to learn or didn't care that half of all bankruptcies are caused by the soaring medical bills that stem from unforeseen illnesses and injuries. Why? Special interests matter not us?
The Democrats are also casting deciding votes on the so-called free-trade agreements that have allowed corporate supremacists to export American jobs to the cheapest sources of labor.
Twenty-two House Democrats approved the recent Oman free-trade agreement, including 10 that had previously voted for the Central American Free Trade Agreement. CAFTA, which passed the House by only two votes at the midnight hour, opened up to American businesses a market about the size of New Haven, Connecticut.
Why? More of "we the people don't matter?

And Democrats in the Senate have embraced the wrongheaded policies of the Bush administration on border security and illegal immigration. Thirty-eight Democrats joined with the Senate Republican leadership to crush the Republican majority and pass the illegal-alien amnesty bill. Again why? corruptive special interests?

Forty-two Democrats voted against legislation that would have built a border fence to stop the flow of illegal aliens and drugs across our borders. In fact, it was Democrat Christopher Dodd of Connecticut whose amendment was attached to the legislation that would require the U.S. government to consult with the Mexican government before building a fence along our southern border. I don't understand consult with Mexico but I was against the fence too!

Congressional Democrats are even more dismissive of the need for border security than the Senate Republicans. House Republicans have taken to calling the McCain-Kennedy amnesty bill the "Reid-Kennedy bill" because Minority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada and Sen. Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts shaped most of the legislation. I saw no real answers!
The Democrats incredibly talk about illegal aliens as victims as they press for amnesty, yet not one has raised concerns for the true victims of corporate America's lust for cheap labor: American working men and women, taxpayers all. I and others have many times with important issues like reintroduced once eradicated diseases never even being mentioned!
It was, after all, Sen. Reid who argued in 1993 that illegal aliens place "tremendous burdens" on this country's justice system, schools and social programs, stretching our federal wallet to the limit as a result of "illegal aliens getting welfare, food stamps, medical care and other benefits." That is true but we as of yet have heard no honest practical unbiased answers!

What could possibly explain Sen. Reid's complete conversion on the issue? He's said it was from talking to his wife and immigrants, but could his state's wholesale importation of illegal aliens and the importance of all that corporate lobbying and campaign contribution money be a factor? Surely not. Again, politics and special interest hold sway! Even with some of our own.
And how about that firebrand advocate for the Democratic Party's traditions and values, Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean? Once considered a presidential candidate with a refreshing vision for America.
Dean now spends no time pursuing ideas and proposals that would help working men and women. Instead, he's devoting his time and energy begging for money at the same contribution slop trough as his opponents while hurling insults at Republicans and indulging in petty name-calling. This statement and fact I find a bit insulting!

Instead of articulating a vision and plan to help the United States win the war in Iraq, he said simply late last year, "The idea that the United States is going to win the war in Iraq is just plain wrong." And when Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki was to address a joint session of Congress, Dean called him an anti-Semite for criticizing Israel.
The petulant DNC chairman outdid himself by comparing an inconsequential Republican congresswoman, Katherine Harris of Florida, to the rather consequential Joseph Stalin. The incomparable Howard Dean managed to do that while calling for an end to political divisiveness. i believe he just wants a sign of a Republican thought process and we might be able to come together instead of following the Rove's Bush form of divisive government.

Looking at this record you have to admit that whatever the reason, using patriotism against us or whatever, It is a Repug Congress but we have done nothing either!

Okay, somehow they can justify a 5 week vacation that many of you will never see! However On top of all the damage to the country and "we the People"

I have to ask! Is that before or after they vote down the minimum wage increase? It was underhanded politics as usual having the repugs tie the minimum wage increase to another tax break for the rich.

Re-election pressure notwithstanding, Sen. Jeff Bingaman will not vote for the minimum wage increase approved by the House because it is tied to a hefty inheritance-tax cut for multimillionaire families.
The bill the House passed Saturday, 230-180, would raise the federal minimum wage from $5.15 to $5.85 an hour Jan. 1, to $6.55 an hour in 2008 and $7.25 an hour in 2009.
The bill would also exempt from taxation all estates worth as much as $5 million ($10 million for a married couple), and make the rate 15 percent for estates worth up to $15 million and 30 percent for more than $25 million.

Bingaman, a Silver City Democrat, on Monday said: "I think it is cynical to hold an increase in the minimum wage hostage to a dramatic cut in an estate tax for the wealthiest in the country. I strongly support an increase in the minimum wage. I also support some changes to the estate tax. But I do not support the proposal the House adopted, and I do not believe we should be linking these two issues." I have to agree with him on this! http://www.abqtrib.com/...

I don't know what I would do! Would you cut your nose off to spite your face? Not me!

We must beat the Repug disinformation campaign! we must get them out in the fall if we are to begin to regain our America and return some kind of societal balance, decency, and normalcy!
