Elections this fall will be Hairy, very contentious, and closer than they should be but we must win!

With rising hopes and fortunes of Democrats for the fall elections I feel the urgency to remind some and warn us all of complacency and Repug underhanded politics where winning is the only measure not being right, honest, or doing for “we the people”.
After the Democratic victory in Connecticut Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean issued a statement pointing to strong turnout in the primaries and declaring that Democratic voters “are energized.”
Westport Democrat Diane Farrell, who is running for Congress, said that Connecticut voters made a profound statement.
They have said they support change over the status quo. And they have said that the Bush policy in Iraq is unacceptable,” she said.
My own feeling is that there is a growing feeling against Bush’s losing Iraq war but even more! It is a growing distrust of Bush, his harmful idea of a new societal, middle east, and world, order, his asinine insistence of democratizing the middle east and the world at all costs, and against anyone that backs his mispolicies.
I must warn about getting cocky! Victory in the fall is not a foregone conclusion!
Republican Party chairman Ken Mehlman, speaking to the City Club of Cleveland, said that the Democratic Party has embraced an isolationist, defeatist and “blame America first” attitude.
Cheney said there is a significant segment of the Democratic Party that wants to return to “a pre-9-11 mind-set.
Snow said the immediate withdrawal from Iraq that Democrats advocate would leave a power vacuum there. A white flag, in short, means a white flag in the war on terror Snow said. http://www.connpost.com/...

Of course none of this is true but their incessant use of these and other obvious lies only to keep in office at all costs is harmful to America and sadly it works for them. In light of rising Democratic fortunes it will only get worse! Victory not honesty is the order of the day!

Suspicions that the Bush administration might have had political motives in wanting the arrests made prematurely are fed by memories of events two years ago: The Department of Homeland Security declared a terror alert just after the Democratic National Convention, shifting the spotlight away from John Kerry — and, according to Pakistani intelligence officials, blowing the cover of a mole inside al-Qaida.

Whether or not there was something fishy about the timing of the latest terror announcement, there’s the question of whether the administration’s scare tactics will work.
If current polls are any indication, Republicans are on the verge of losing control of at least one chamber of Congress.
On every issue other than terrorism and homeland security,” says Newsweek about its latest poll, “the Dems win.” Can a last-minute effort to make a big splash on terror stave off electoral disaster? http://www.azstarnet.com/...
I am afraid that it could!
Bush hailed the disruption last week of the plot to blow up U.S.-bound airliners with liquid explosives. He said because of the counter terrorism efforts of the United States and its allies, “America is safer than it has been, yet it is not yet safe.”
U.S. safety looms as a major issue in the midterm elections Nov. 7. Both Republicans and Democrats are maneuvering for the political advantage in an election where control of Congress is at stake. http://www.cbsnews.com/...

Bush is doing his share of trying to ignite fear among Americans and gain political points by claiming they alone can keep them safe.
I am afraid many will fall for their lying and underhanded politics again and it will work for them again! We must remain focused on their 3D politics(deceitful, deceptive, divisive, politics) and defeat their disinformation campaign.

This has become all important to me and our America. We must get it back because I do not think we or the country can survive much more of this and neither can the middle east or the world. If interested, look at his sobering doctrine of destruction!
It isn’t good and it might be too late because Bush has been allowed too much time and he is too far along with his idea of a new societal, middle east, and world order and will do and say anything as you know in order to complete his plan which will end in disorder and worse. http://www.anaveragepatriot.com

Last night on the news they said that because of the rushed wrap up of the "terror" plot in England, the police there are afraid they do not have enough evidence to convict those people. The MI5 wanted to continue their investigation longer and gather more evidence but due to the US push they had to close down the secret investigation and take the people in.

I don't know what Americans would do if there is another attack. Imagine knowing that's probably what it would take to keep your party dominant. Jesus, that's just about all they have going for them.

Did you ever see Keith Olberman's show when he lined up all the terror alerts with negative things that had happened to the Repubs. over the years? It's amazing. If you haven't seen it, let me know and I'll give you a link so that you can.

Thanks POP
I didn't see it but I will now, thanks! I hope they have enough evidence to try those people. They must be able to finagle something. We can't allow that stuff to go "unrewarded"
What stinks is you know Bush did that only to use it politically which he likes to accuse everyone else of doing. He is scum!
If you read the whole post you know I have come to the conclusion that this whole terrorism thing seems to be a set up to keep the repugs in office.
We can not survive much more. we must do everything possible and get them out in the fall.
Bush has made a hell of a mess here, in the middle east, and around the world. a lot of his damage ecpecially in the middle east and around the world will not be stopped but will have to be allowed to run its terrible course.
Thanks again for the link Pissed off Patty! that's funny, I should have called myself pissed off Jim

I agree! the truth is never talked about today. Only what one self interested group os the other wants you to think is the truth.
Our societal problems, the middle east's problems which of course includes Bush's created losing war in Iraq, and many of the problems in the world today, are because of Bush's irresponsible stupid democratization and his so called new world order.
Sadly for the innocent of the world this will all end in total disorder! I have so much more to say about his diabolical plan and it would scare the hell out of you because it is sobering and I'm afraid a fact.
I was just looking at your comment again. Boy would I like to talk to you! Have you looked at some of my past posts on the facts of what Bush is doing and how this is going to end? I have done numerous posts trying to alert people for years now.
