This site is for the opinions of We The People in the trenches of American society. We are never listened to, always ignored, and very often right. It is time the average American had a voice and here it is. Please read our books on the subject especially A Doctrine Of Fact/ Bush Uncovered. It is free and will blow you away. It is time we were all heard now's our chance and here is your forum. Let yourselves be heard.
This really concerns me because the crisis in Japan just keeps getting worse despite the lies. It had to cross the country to get here on the east coast of the United States. This is not the legacy Japan wanted to leave for its children nor the one I want for mine. I have been saying from the beginning that this was going to dwarf Chernobyl and it will. It was obvious they were lying from the beginning and they still are.
They now have radiation in the ocean and wonder why? Duh! That reactor three is the only one of the 6 that uses the deadliest of the deadly, a mixture of plutonium and uranium. Now we are hearing there is another in as bad a shape. Seal them in cement now before things get any worse. Chernobyl was a 7 now they are talking 6, eventually it will be a 10 or for which they of yet do not have a classification.
Rebel Advance Stalls as Qaddafi Forces Counterattack Gaddafi forces have gotten smart. After losing many tanks due to the no fly zone they have started to blow out buildings and hiding the tanks in them and under trees so they can not be seen from the air. They are still slaughtering Libyan citizens and there is no way to stop them unless France and Britain is so passionate about helping them that they are willing to put boots on the ground because we can not.
We are looking at arming these rebels who turn around and run at the drop of a hat it seems. What is the guarantee that they are going to stand their ground and fight for their lives? Also that would mean clothing feeding and paying them. Are we willing to spend another trillion dollars? I say we because I am sure we would get stuck with that too as well as the training which would make Obama a liar as he said there would be no boots on the ground.
We can't do this again. So far I am on Obama's side, I think he has done the right thing. He did not wait during a year of slaughter as Clinton did in the Balkans, He did not go full bore and unilaterally as Bush did. It is already obvious that the no fly zone is a failure without the US running it. We can not get dragged in further. We must get out now and the rebels must fight the good fight or die. We can not do this for them!

It's not us... Cut the crap! Japan's nuke agency says radioactive water not overflowing into Pacific We found plutonium in the soil from a cracked reactor they have been pouring millions of gallons of sea water on and now fresh water with admittedly no capacity to store the run off and we are supposed to believe it is not going into the ocean thus responsible for the readings over 100,000 times normal?
This really concerns me because the crisis in Japan just keeps getting worse despite the lies. It had to cross the country to get here on the east coast of the United States.
2 of those reactors are said to be in some stage of meltdown with 2 more having blown out their buildings and 2 more in various stage of degradation. They better stop playing games and seal the 2 in melt down immediately and keep an eye on the other 4 and do the same with them if need be. This is not the legacy Japan wanted to leave for its children nor the one I want for mine.
I have been saying from the beginning that this was going to dwarf Chernobyl and it will. It was obvious they were lying from the beginning and they still are.

Bachmann plays the victim She isn't the victim she is the perpetrator of out and out lies. She makes up her own facts. When called out on it she ignores it and moves on. It has nothing to do with the fact that she calls herself a conservative! She is also un unabashed liar!
Much is being made of the fact that she was speaking in New Hampshire and said they should be prouf being the State where the shot heard around the world was fired and she got her States mixed up. She was next door to Concord New Hampshire. I think she got something else mixed up , she just is not that intelligent. I looked back at some of the stupid things she says.
Top 5 Hilarious Michele Bachmann Factual Errors
Claim 5:
Perhaps the most famous recent Epic Fail when it comes to factual errors was Michele Bachmann's claim that the last time we had an outbreak of Swine Flu occur, it was also under Democratic leadership.
Reality: The last outbreak of Swine Flu was in 1976, under Gerald Ford. Jimmy Carter was elected later in the year.
Claim 4:
Middle class tax hikes for everyone! Michele Bachmann claimed that Obama's new tax plan would impact people making under $250,000, in contrast to his campaign promises.
Fact: The "cap" on itemized deductions for mortgage interest, as well as the limit on charitable donation deductions, both apply to those in the over $250,000 income bracket (if filing jointly; single taxpayers experienced the former "cap" if their income was over $200,000).
Claim 3:
Michele Bachmann claimed that Obama's new plan for green energy would cost the average American taxpayer over $3000 extra dollars per month in their utility bill.
Fact: Even the researcher who did the study has renounced this completely fabricated statement, claiming that the increase in monthly utility expenses to greener taxpayers would be negligible.
Claim 2:
The so-called "Flying Imams" (six Muslim men who were taken off a flight and detained when fellow passengers refused to fly with them) were heading to Congressman Keith Ellison's victory celebration, according to Ms. Bachmann.
Fact: The "Flying Imams" were attempting to attend a conference of the North American Imams Federation.
Most recently, Michele Bachmann said that Obama's policies reminded her of the "Hoot-Smalley Tariff Act" enacted by FDR, which raised taxes and caused great economic suffering for 10 years.
Claim 1:
Most recently, Michele Bachmann said that Obama's policies reminded her of the "Hoot-Smalley Tariff Act" enacted by FDR, which raised taxes and caused great economic suffering for 10 years.Fact: There are a lot of mistakes in this one, so let's go one at a time:
(a) It's the "Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act."
b) It was written by 2 Republicans, and it lowered taxes
(c) It was enacted in 1930, by Hoover.
(d) FDR repealed the Act in 1934.
In an era of Dick Cheney, Sarah Palin, Dennis Kucinich, and Bernie Saunders, however, it's nice to have someone like Michele Bachmann to remind us how ridiculous all the fighting really is, and how funny words like "Smoot" and "Hawley" can be.
American soldiers in January found a Taliban bunker in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan. They later destroyed it with explosives. Recent defeats and general weariness after nine years of war are creating fissures within the Taliban. I just love it! I keep being told I am too optimistic but I am not, I am a realist and victory is up to us. Declare victory and leave.
That is all they want, they are sick of this fight. More than 500 mid level commanders were killed last year and they are forced to move every other day. The Taliban will continue to answer the call to fight as long as we remain on their soil. They have safe haven in Pakistan protected by the military and some in the ISI and they will continue to go to Afghanistan and fight us even though they have had enough as long as we remain there.
Both Pakistan and Afghanistan are benefiting from Pakistan's military operations, better surveillance by law enforcement agencies and the death of key militants in U.S. drone strikes, a think tank said Sunday. Pakistan's anti-terror efforts are a key focus of the Obama administration, which wants the country to do more to target Taliban militants who regularly launch attacks against U.S. troops in Afghanistan.
U.S. officials have also expressed frustration with Pakistan's unwillingness to launch an offensive in North Waziristan, part of the country's lawless tribal region that hosts a large number of militants who wage attacks in Afghanistan. The Pakistani army says its troops are stretched too thin by other operations in the tribal region. But many analysts believe the military is reluctant to cross militants with whom it has historical ties and could be useful allies in Afghanistan after foreign troops withdraw. Attacks down almost 20 percent in Pakistan
Pakistan's unwillingness to go into North Waziristan home of the Haqqani's is in my mind what is keeping the attacks down for now but the U.S. has responded by more than doubling the number of drone strikes in the tribal region. There were close to 120 such strikes in 2010, most of which occurred in North Waziristan. Prime target, the Haqqani's
For now NATO appears to be smoking the Haqqani's and have them on the run but we have to capture or kill them and their followers. The deadliest group of Taliban fighters in Afghanistan "the Haqqani's" has not conducted a complex large-scale attack in the capital city of Kabul for seven months, its momentum stymied as elite American-led commandos have escalated raids against the militants’ bomb makers and logisticians. In three months alone, commandos have carried out 1,784 missions across Afghanistan, killing or capturing 880 insurgent leaders.
New and increased drone attacks come in Khyber, an area abutting Afghanistan’s Nangahar province, that’s been notably drone-free. It has become an area for militants fleeing military action in South Waziristan. They also bring the drone-strike tally for this year, more than twice last year’s 53 strikes. But those figures don’t begin to tell the whole story.
So far over 900 low level Taliban fighters have given up arms and decided to work for peace in the last month and the pace is picking up. However the blood bath continues as the Haqqani's remain defiant.Hundreds of Afghan fighters to lay down arms: NATO Those that have signed up for reintegration have been promised protection and there are at least 45 armed groups or possibly more were in talks with the government on lower-level or local reintegration.
Those who want to sign up must stop fighting, cut ties with other militants and embrace the Afghan constitution. They provide the government information and surrender heavy weapons but are allowed to keep arms deemed essential for self-defense. That said at least a dozen so far have been attacked or killed.
Mullah Sangin of the Sangin province where the tribal uprising is taking place against the Taliban. The notorious Taliban stronghold has been bitterly contested by insurgents and drug traffickers ever since British troops arrived in 2006, but the government revealed that tribal elders, backed by some local insurgents, have agreed to stand up to the Taliban.
It was also announced that that one group of insurgents have already handed in their weapons in an attempt to join a local peace process in Sangin. They are fighting back, this is what has been happening in Pakistan and what had to happen in Afghanistan. Under the arrangement, local Taliban fighters will stop attacking US and Afghan forces and will keep non-local insurgents out of the Sarwan-Qala area of the upper Sangin Valley, according to a spokesman for the Helmand governor Gulab Mangal.
Foot patrols by government forces will continue and local people will be expected to help clear areas of homemade bombs and tip off local police as to their whereabouts.
"There was no signed agreement but we believe this will create the opportunity for other Taliban fighters to come and join the government," said Daoud Ahmadi. He said that the Afghan army, police and US forces were all represented at the traditional tribal Shura on a recent saturday and some of the tribal elders had been given authority by the local Taliban to speak on their behalf. Afghanistan hopes tribal uprising will bring peace
I was listening to ex Taliban fighters and their Commanders who fought NATO and the US for 6 years saying they figure the Government now cares about them so they have now stopped, They point out besides they are sick of fighting and we are leaving anyway. Great! That Is what I was hoping for from the beginning. At least long enough to let us leave then they can kill each other again.
Around Spin Boldak we have Col. Razzik and his force of some 250 men who have become invaluable to the U.S.-led operations to seize Taliban redoubts in Kandahar province, U.S. commanders say. Unlike other Afghan security forces—often ineffectual, reluctant to fight or simply unfamiliar with Kandahar's terrain—his men have wowed American commanders with their tactical skills and determination.
"I have a clear strategy: When the enemies are killing us, we shouldn't be giving them flowers," Col. Razzik said in an interview, as he awaited a visit by the American ambassador to his fort-like base in the border town of Spin Boldak.
Col. Razzik's ability to safeguard the strategic Spin Boldak crossing from the Taliban in recent years has allowed him to stay in office. That job security comes despite what officials in Kabul and Washington say are well-founded concerns that he has been enriching himself and his patron, President Hamid Karzai's brother Ahmed Wali Karzai, with revenue from heroin smuggling, customs-skimming and bribes. people from his own tribe are scared to death of him and leaving the area. In Afghanistan, U.S. Turns 'Malignant Actor' Into Ally
I wish we would quickly kill the Haqqani's, both Jalaluddin and Sirajuddin and leave the rest to Pakistan. We are getting closer hitting a nerve and I can finally see success if Pakistan and the ISI cooperate. We have been taking down one key leader after the next for the last 6 months but with their rate of regeneration this is just beginning and we can not relent now nor think any form of victory is at hand. I wish we would get out and leave the rest up to Afghanistan and Pakistan, keep an eye on events, and see what they do from here on in. Our job as a ground force is done if we are smart enough to leave starting this year like we said we would.
* I know spring is coming but we don't hear too much about Afghanistan lately do we?
I have to admit that this is the first war in my time where I feel we had no choice if we did not want to sit by and watch the genocide of his own people by Colonel Kaddafi. However I have been listening to many say we had no right to interfere. I feel we had to in good conscience but people are right when they say there is no balance as to what we base the decision to go to war on.
Knowing I have been thinking of this for years and I based it on a book written in 2003 in which it was pointed out that we have been at war since our founding, 227 years. that is now 235 years so I had to revisit this thought.
Years ago now I was consumed with the crazy thought that my son who is an EOD (explosive ordinance Disposal) Team Leader just got home from Afghanistan then volunteered for Iraq. I was very concerned as to how many civilians and American soldiers were going to lose their lives in what many of us considered an illegal war.
I was listening again to the number of Americans killed in past wars including the civil war where some 562 thousand lost their lives as you know, fighting amongst ourselves. At first I was focused on the wasted lives in Iraq and was wondering how many there would be when all is said and done as well as feeling there is no foreseeable end and we still have to wonder, then I went to this list and I wanted to compare how many lives were lost in wars in contrast to how many we lost fighting amongst ourselves.
The numbers were getting too convoluted for me to come up with anything tangible I thought. I then was looking at the immense numbers of conflicts and wars we were in and I decided a comparison of war years to peaceful years would be best to tell our story. I couldn't figure it out. I was floored by the number of conflicts and wars America has been in since our founding and thought I would say we have only had approximately 50 years of peace and supply this link on our war and peace History. List of America's wars
Then I went back to Google and I found this compelling story by Jon Stanton showing that America has been at war openly or clandestinely essentially since we were founded. I merely want you to see what is out there and think about the whole story. Having read what he wrote I thought there was something at least worth reading, thinking about, and putting in perspective.
I never read him so I researched him and found him to be a Virginia based writer that writes from a left wing perspective and I am afraid I agree with much of what he says. In fact I have written much of it myself in the past. I am not a warmonger I am a peace lover so I thought I would give you the link to Jon Stanton's book 227 years of warfare written in 2003 and you could tell me what you think. 227 years of warfare
It did make me remember that I did a diary a while back in which I said the U.S. has a war economy and some took exception to that but looking at our History of wars our fault or not I really have to wonder, what are we? I am a peace lover willing to fight for my country as are my sons as you know but are the leaders of America fighting to live or living to fight? what is happening to us? How are we supposed to feel?
Health officials said Sunday that one sample of Massachusetts rainwater has registered very low concentrations of radiation, most likely from the Japanese nuclear power plant damaged earlier this month by an earthquake and tsunami. Traces of low-level radiation detected in Mass. rainwater
why or why not nuclear energy? Why? Japan has 54 reactors the US has 104. Fukishima was just one crisis and as keep saying, it will get a lot worse and dwars Chernobyl. It blows me away that they nuclear power green power, How green does it look now?
I worked around nukes in the military in the early 70's in the military and one of the things that hit home was the fact that nuclear and nuclear waste is here forever having an indeterminable life span. Having said that, knowing what is happening in Japan I was stunned to learn that here in the US we have 365 metric tons of nuclear waste in cement carsofogi or under 23 feet of water. That is all susceptible to what happened in Japan. They do not sound too stable to me!
Today I was in the kitchen and I heard on the radio that the radioactivity specific to the Fukushima plant has been detected in Boston's drinking water due to rain water but not to worry as it is in small amounts. This really concerns me because the crisis in Japan just keeps getting worse despite the lies. It had to cross the country to get here on the east coast of the United States.

We are watching many countries in the Middle East erupt all at the same time and I am a bit perplexed at the warped amount of attention and coverage given. Syria is being given a lot of attention and Yemen not so much. I have to believe that is because Syria is Israel and Iran's neighbor. A democracy movement right there is no threat to Israel nor is it to Iran.
However Syria is Sunni and Iran Shiite so you might think it would matter to them but it is not important enough to concern them. Yemen on the other hand is. There has been a proxy war being fought in Yemen for quite a while now and Iran has been in the forefront of it. What is happening in Yemen is of utmost importance to Iran, us, and the world. Yemen close to transition of power deal
Talks Snag Over Yemeni Leader's Exit yemeni's better pay heed to President Ali Abdullah Saleh saying he wants to step down but he wants to have an orderly transition so the country does not dissolve into total chaos and mayhem because it has been pretty close and tenuous for a while.
With our air raids in the East, civil war looming in the north, pro-independence protests in the south and al-Qaeda in the background threatening a wave of attacks on America, Yemen is today’s war. To top it off Yemen is running out of water! There is more Al Qaeda there than in Afghanistan "supposedly 400" so why are we in Afghanistan and not Yemen?
Somalia will be the next war as those Al Qaeda who did not flee the existing wars to help in Yemen have gone to Somalia! Al Qaeda has always been in Yemen but it has now become Al Qaeda central. Their principle targets are Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and the US, allies and allies in this so called war on terror.
The Saudi and Yemen branches of Al Qaeda have joined forces and many outsiders are moving in to join the fight. We must act in kind! Yemen is on the verge of being a failed state as you already know especially if you have been following my story line. Yemen is on the Abyss and we must help them for own good!
Ya think they have been preoccupied? They have been dealing with terrorism and insurgencies for years! They are not a failed state but well on their way! Their attention has been on survival as a country.
As many of you know by now my prime concern in Yemen was the interference by Iran in trying to get Shiite dominance there. Bush freed Iran up to pursue her version of new middle East order by interfering wherever she could while Bush was doing the same thing with his Middle East Democratization program.
The goal now absolutely is to be the country who decides which direction the new Middle East (dis)order will take. Bush started it by attacking Iraq to get into the middle east to destabilize it and start the new middle east order the idiot said God told him to do now it will be up to Iran and Saudi Arabia at least up front fight it out whether this goes the Iranian Shiite way or the Saudi Arabian Sunni way and do not forget Israel!
In Yemen once again the Iranian Revolutionary Guard is the instigator. They are ferrying weapons through Eritrea to Yemen. They are now avoiding the Arabian Peninsula as Saudi Arabia has instituted a blockade along the coast of Yemen. Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has also transported Lebanese Hezbollah fighters to fight with the rebels.
As you know, Saudi Arabia is also there fighting the Iranian backed Houthi rebels. So far there has been no direct confrontation. However I absolutely see what I have been warning about since Bush diverted from Afghanistan to attack Iraq and get back in the middle east to create a new middle east (dis)order! This is going to be total middle east war for a new middle east order like it or not, Sunni against Shiite.
It is looking like Yemen is going to be the first country down! Please watch the video, the Middle East is right to be concerned. Yemen is going through severe domestic turmoil due to the violent activities of Al Qaeda, Houthi rebels in the north and the Southern Movement in the south. The remaining Jews are threatened with slaughter by the Shiite. How much longer can Yemen hold on? What is next?
Al Shabab in Somalia and Al Qaeda in Yemen are both reinforced by those fleeing the fight in Iraq, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Somalia is a failed State and Yemen is rapidly headed towards being a failed State. They are perfect havens for Al Qaeda to set up new training camps in lawless regions.
Yemen has stepped up its efforts to go after Al Qaeda where they live and train. Yemeni Al Qaeda previously sent arms and help to Al Shabab in their fight in Somalia. Al Shabab is reciprocating sending fighters to Yemen to help Yemeni Al Qaeda. Supposedly the so called experts say the three forces operating to destabilize Yemen from the North, South, and East will not join forces but you bet they will! Al Qaeda has been leaving Iraq, Afghanistan, and Mauritania; to use Yemen as their new base we in turn better meet them there with some kind of force. This entire so called terrorism war is barely beginning. This is not a war to end all wars but the war of all wars!
Be very concerned about what is happening in Yemen!
I have been listening to the news and the naive fools are all saying along with nuclear experts and so called leaders they are happy it is turning and going out to sea because it will not affect anyone at sea. What the hell is wrong with them? It is called fallout for a reason. What goes up must come down and it will end up in the ocean too. What about the sea life we are increasingly finding diseased and cancerous? sea life? Remember the sea is the root of life, phytoplankton is the largest source of oxygen on the planet.
Just a week ago we saw millions of dead sardines show up in California and I immediately suspected we were at the root of that evil. Of course they said they all panicked and corralled themselves into a small spot ran out of oxygen and suffocated. I thought we had our dirty little hands in it somehow. Well they just found out the millions of sardines found dead in California were contaminated with toxins from algae bloom they ate making them susceptible to lack of oxygen. Toxin found in dead sardines
First I have to ask what? In some spots, such as off the Southern California coast, oxygen levels have dropped roughly 20 percent over the past 25 years. Elsewhere, scientists say, oxygen levels might have declined by one-third over 50 years. Then I have to remember the algae bloom also grows in great quantities due to mans interference. I remember the big die off in the Chesapeake they supposedly couldn't pin point. Millions of dead fish in Chesapeake Bay blamed on limited habitat and cold water stress, wake up! Face the truth!
Authorities in Maryland were investigating the deaths of about 2 million fish in Chesapeake Bay they are blaming on cold water stress, over population "come on, overpopulation of our decimated fish stocks", and limited deep water habitat, natural causes. Yes on a much smaller scale it happened twice before in 1976 and 1980 but there is nothing natural about it and it is getting worse. millions of dead fish in Chesapeake Bay
Yes there is growing limited habitat but there is nothing natural about it and we know it. We are destroying the ocean and our very basis of life on earth. One of the largest of the 400 or so ocean dead zones is in the Gulf of Mexico, near the mouth of the Mississippi. However, scientists now say that some of these areas, including those off the Northwest, apparently are linked to broader changes in ocean oxygen levels. The Pacific waters off Washington and Oregon face a double whammy as a result of ocean circulation. Growing low-oxygen zones in oceans worry scientists | McClatchy
In 2004 I was alarmed because there was 150 dead spots today there are 400. Commonly, ocean "dead zones" have been linked to agricultural runoff and other pollution coming down major rivers such as the Mississippi or the Columbia.
Scientists may have found the most devastating impact yet of human-caused global warming — a 40% decline in phytoplankton since 1950 linked to the rise in ocean sea surface temperatures. I happen to think it is largely due to man and our pollution though some may be natural but I doubt it. We’ve known for a while that we are poisoning the oceans and that human emissions of carbon dioxide, left unchecked, would likely have devastating consequences. We are all part of the whole.
“Phytoplankton are a critical part of our planetary life support system. They produce half of the oxygen we breathe, draw down surface CO2 and ultimately support all of our fishes said marine biologist Boris Worm of Canada’s Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We say the ocean is critical to life but personally I had no idea how critical. I thought we were talking giving up fish for food not life itself. Somebody of consequence better wake up!
What a coincidence with those two kill offs being in the 70's and 90's, look at this: In the 1970s, the Chesapeake Bay was discovered to contain one of the planet's first identified marine dead zones, where hypoxic waters were so depleted of oxygen they were unable to support life, resulting in massive fish kills. Today the bay's dead zones are estimated to kill 75,000 tons of bottom-dwelling clams and worms each year, weakening the base of the estuary's food chain and robbing the blue crab in particular of a primary food source. Crabs themselves are sometimes observed to amass on shore to escape pockets of oxygen-poor water, a behavior known as a "crab jubilee". Hypoxia results in part from large algal blooms, which are nourished by the runoff of farm and industrial waste throughout the watershed.
The runoff and pollution have many components that help contribute to the algal blooms which is mainly fed by phosphorus and nitrogen.[13] This algae prevents sunlight from reaching the bottom of the bay while alive and deoxygenates the bay's water when it dies and rots. The erosion and runoff of sediment into the bay, exacerbated by devegetation, construction and the prevalence of pavement in urban and suburban areas, also blocks vital sunlight. The resulting loss of aquatic vegetation has depleted the habitat for much of the bay's animal life. Beds of eelgrass, the dominant variety in the southern bay, have shrunk by more than half there since the early 1970s. Overharvesting, pollution, sedimentation and disease has turned much of the bay's bottom into a muddy wasteland.[14]
One particularly harmful source of toxicity is Pfiesteria piscicida, which can affect both fish and humans. Pfiesteria caused a small regional panic in the late 1990s when a series of large blooms started killing large numbers of fish while giving swimmers mysterious rashes, and nutrient runoff from chicken farms was blamed for the growth.[15 Chesapeak Bay wikipedia
Natural? Hardly! We are killing our oceans faster than ever not to speak of the continent size garbage swirls all around the world. We have to stop this mentality we are illustrating again towards the sea saying we are okay if the radiation blows out to sea it won't affect anyone. It will at some point affect everyone. We are never going to smarten up. I am so disgusted!
Protests broke out in four Syrian cities on Friday, the first large-scale demonstrations here since the pro-democracy uprisings began in the Arab world three months ago. In Syria, Crackdown After Protests Wow Syria, what does that mean for Iran?
Tribes warn of violence if Syrian regime does not withdraw troops The demonstrations were the latest of a growing number in the past three days, as the uprisings and unrest that spread from Tunisia to Egypt to Bahrian and Libya appear to have reached Syria, one of the most tightly controlled societies in the Middle East. They want the tanks removed and over flights stopped. This is really spreading and could be good if we play our cards right.
Saudi Arabia's decision to send troops into Bahrain to help stabilize the country following violent anti-government demonstrations marks another stage in Riyadh's reluctant emergence as a regional policeman at a time when the Arab world faces unprecedented turmoil and even armed rebellion. Iran Calls Saudi Troop Presence in Bahrain 'Unacceptable'
There is no surprise here but remember the big picture! By getting rid of Saddam we freed Iran up to instigate for the Shiite version of a new middle east order. The Iran evolutionary Guard has been instigating, arming, and training in Yemen for years amongst other countries. In Bahrain the Shiite minority majority is rebelling against the Sunni minority majority. You don't think Iran is instigating them? Of course Saudi Arabia is came to the rescue of the Sunni minority leadership.
I have to remind you of something we have been discussing for years now as it is coming out in the open as the Iranian Saudi Arabian neo cold war is coming out in the open.
We know that at least up to now we have been giving Billions upon Billions in advanced arms and weaponry to Saudi Arabia and our other Arab allies to fight Iran. We also know the Iranian Saudi Arabian neo cold war has been going on for years. We are the ones who went into the Middle East to change Middle East order per Bush and God which was asinine.
Could this confrontation erupt in war between Iran and at the least US armed Saudi Arabia? Iran is warning and threatening retribution but they are supplying the Yemeni Rebels who pushed into Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia has fired well over a hundred missiles from their fighter jets as they pummel their hideouts.
You can not blame them but I had no idea the dissention goes all the way back to the naming of the Gulf. Saudi’s know it as the Gulf of Arabia and I can remember that but Iran calls it the Persian Gulf as the rest of us seem to at least until now.
Both Iran and Saudi Arabia have been using Lebanon as their battlefront up to now able to avoid direct confrontation. Iran has pumped millions of dollars in supplies and arms much to the consternation of her suffering people while Saudi Arabia has been supporting the Palestinian Authority.
So far there has been no direct confrontation. However I absolutely see what I have been warning about since Bush diverted from Afghanistan to attack Iraq and get back in the middle east to create a new middle east (dis)order! I do not give a damn what anyone says. Bush Chaney and their Democratization program in an already historically unstable middle east set all of this and more in motion!
Saudi Arabia is helping Bahrain brutally put down the Shiite minority that Iran says she might arm. I tend to believe the middle east break down Sunni against Shiite is well under way. Bahraini Shiites bury their dead from crackdown
In closing: Bush's intention in attacking Iraq was to get our military back in the Middle East to help Israel establish a safety zone, create a new middle east (dis)order as God told him to, and to establish a permanent middle east presence. I was very concerned that this entire mess in the middle east would take on a life of its own We freed Iran up to instigate for their new order by eliminating Saddam who kept them contained.
The middle east is exploding as we long said it would and anti Israeli anti US forces are trying to use it to their advantage. Israel is nervous as they should be with all their hedging at a real 2 state solution. Across the Arab world, people living under the thumb of repressive leaders are rising up against the rulers who once seemed omnipotent. It is no coincidence these were all American allies! They are not quite sure what they want. But from North Africa to the Arabian Peninsula, they know they want change. And their wrath and their courage are creating a new form of Arab unity.
The goal since we went back into the Middle East has been to see whose version of a new middle east order will prevail. I have faith it will not be Persian Iran's version and not ours but rather a free and Democratic Arabian version whatever shape that may take.
* The hell on earth Bush created for Iraqi’s will engulf the entire Middle East before it encompasses the entire world if we can not contain it. Under Bush we broke a long standing tradition of not adding fuel to the Middle East fire by supplying weapons. We are now, including advanced weaponry and missile defense systems. The Middle East breakdown Bush started armed and funded is continuing under Obama. This up to now proxy war in the middle east is under way. Wait, watch, and listen, this is not good for the world and our future!
The entire middle east is going to erupt Sunni against Shiite and don't forget Israel and the Kurds and we are going to be right in the middle of it!
This is a terrible disaster but to make it even worse and put the developments in perspective, number 3 is the only reactor there that runs off the deadliest mixture of uranium and plutonium. The more we learn the worse this gets.
Chernobyl was a 7 now they are talking 6, eventually it will be a 10 or for which they of yet do not have a classification.
We are told one day Tokyo's water though 150 miles from the plants was not safe. A day later it is. Workers from the plant have heavy doses of radiation and are in the hospital, the plants are now out of danger, they keep getting worse. Q&A: Health risks I just heard of a neutron beam being seen at one plant. That can't be good?
It appears that for the first time, the containment system around one of the Fukushima Daiichi reactors has been breached. As I said, I don't care what they say. This is going to be worse than Chernobyl. Japan is an island and about the size of California. Location, location, location. I am going to check out the latest now. In every regard things are moving so fast. Hope for the best plan for the worst. That is what I absolutely expected Japan had done. They of all people should know better than to take chances with a nuclear reactor let alone many. I understand we were warning them from the early 70's that their safety systems were inadequate
I understand we have been lied to from the beginning in order to keep the people and the world from panicking. I saw a program on the dire crisis facing Japan's elderly who are dying from lack of care and medicine as they lie huddled on gym floors. They are surrounded by destruction that as of yet has not begun to be cleaned up. The information on the reactors just gets worse and worse. The health effect on their water and food supply become more evident every day. I just heard the Pacific is being affected.
Good or bad it is time for the lying to stop and lay the truth out for the people of Japan and the world. This is the most expensive catastrophe in world history. We do not need it to become the worst disaster in world history.
We better hand this over quick to Qatar, France, and Britain and get out. Nothing on the ground has changed for the rebels though. I listened to a witness account where Gaddafi's forces were in Misurata pulling people out of their houses and slaughtering them. They were also pulling them off the street and killing them. That will not change!
Stop playing games, drop a MOAB (mother of all bombs) on him or a 30000 pound bunker buster designed to take out deep underground hardened sites and take his human shield with him. The civil war regardless is going to continue for years as will those in the other 2 Muslim countries we attacked "Afghanistan, and Iraq"
This is the first conflict I have been for not counting the Balkans. We are coming to the rescue of Muslims being slaughtered by their misleader. Once they are on equal ground we must immediately get out and leave it up to the rebels who will be deep in this civil war for years.
In a Dec. 20, 2007 interview with the Boston Globe, Obama was asked about the president's constitutional authority to bomb Iran without seeking authorization from Congress. "The president does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation," Obama authority to act under challenge Sounds like a valid challenge to me but do we let millions be slaughtered for fun?
There are tanks in the center of the towns killing people as they sleep but what are we supposed to do? I remember from day one hearing that Egypt was arming the rebels. Well they better hurry up and the rebels are going to have to realize they have to do this themselves and it will not be easy. We needed help and it was France who gave it to us during our Revolution.
France is the one that recognized the rebels as the valid Government of Libya. France is the one who took the lead in instigating for the no fly zone and coming to the aid of the rebels. That said if there are to be ground forces to aid the rebels they should be Frances. I just do not want to have to pick up after them as we did in Vietnam and we know how well that went.
I reiterate: We better hand this over quick to Qatar, France, and Britain and get out. Nothing on the ground has changed for the rebels though. I listened to a witness account where Gaddafi's forces were in Misrata pulling people out of their houses and slaughtering them. They were also pulling them off the street and killing them. 500 AD Cannabis reaches Europe via India and Africa
1492 Christopher Columbus brought Cannabis Sativa to the new world, You never hear them mention that do you?
1619 Jamestown passed a law requiring all settlers to grow Hemp
1797 George Washington's primary crop at mount Vernon is cannabis, something else they have never mentioned
1876 The Sultan of Turkey gave the US marijuana as a gift
1880 Turkish smoking parlors open up all over the Northeast
1891 Queen Victoria was prescribed marijuana to relieve her menstrual cramps
1908 Henry Ford's first model T was made from Hemp plastic and ran on Hemp ethanol, man have we gone backwards!
1937 Federal law Bans marijuana:The first 2 copies of the Declaration of Independence were printed on Hemp! Benjamin Franklin used Hemp to start Americas first paper mills. It was once legal and one of the largest crops in the world. The majority of fabrics, lighting oil, medicines, paper, and fiber. Hemp was touted as a billion dollar crop in the 19th century and its unparalleled universality made it a target of other sources. It produced more than 5000 products from its thread and 25000 from its cellulose including dinamite and cellophane.
They made it illegal because it was the most widely used product in the world and would interfere with other products and diversity. WW2 brought the necessity that it be legalized ounce again as there was so much of it , its wide use, and its abundance. WW2 ended and once again it was made illegal to protect other industries and interests.
1942 US military was using marijuana as a truth serum
1965 1 million Americans used marijuana
1972 that number grew to 24 million
1980's Reagan began his war on drugs and every 38 seconds someone is arrested for breaking those ridiculous laws
*1996 Proposition 215 passed in California legalizing medical marijuana and today marijuana is America's #1 cash crop grossing 36 billion dollars. That is just marijuana not hemp that has some 50,000 uses by now and does not get you high. It should be legalized and it never should have been made illegal.; If it was made legal once again it would send our entire consumer market into a turmoil as it could replace many existing products.

I am so psyched and impressed with Gabby "Gabrielle Gifford's" survival and her up to now miraculous recovery we all expect and pray will continue. There were 3 others shot in the head that day when Loughner killed 6 and wounded 12. You would normally when hearing someone was shot in the head expect them to have died or at best to have some major impediments for the remainder of their lives.
It has been a little more than two months since the Tucson shooting spree that killed six people and injured 12, and the news on Gabby just keeps getting better. Now Gabby who survived being shot through the brain and the head is finding her voice through song.
Since Gifford's was transferred to Houston where her husband is training to Command the space shuttle in April there are now reports of her singing "Happy Birthday" for husband Mark Kelly and Don McLean's "American Pie" signaling what some have called a miraculous recovery. The brain we know can heal itself through repetition lots of consistency but this is just amazing. Music Therapy Helps Gabrielle Giffords Find Her Voice After Tucson Shooting
Mark Kelly will be commanding space shuttle Endeavor's mission, set to blast off April 19. According to one of the doctors who saved her life in Tucson, there's "no reason not to" believe she can continue her remarkable recovery and witness that moment. I remember about 2 weeks after she was shot and was in the hospital in Tucson I thought it a bit optimistic for Mark to say that he had no doubt she would be there. .
I really had my doubts but I expect her to be there now. It is a very lofty goal and that is what is needed to recover from something like this and to hope for a miracle like the one we are watching. I want to see her there and to watch her face and hear the cheers from the people all around the world. What a victory lap! Giffords may be present when husband blasts off
James M. Joiner was born in Danvers and raised in Historic Salem, Massachusetts. "I was very lucky to have spent my childhood on Gallows Hill and a child of the streets in mid 1960s Salem. I roamed all the historic sites routinely as they were all free in those days," he says.
He attended the Essex Agricultural Institute and graduated from high school, after which he enlisted in the Air Force where he joined the military police. Upon his discharge he went back to farming but soon realized that he needed to do more to support his growing family – by then, he had a wife and three children – so he went back to school and earned a B.S. in accounting. Working a third-shift job so that he could attend college fulltime during the day, he found himself challenged by what he was seeing and learning at the Salem State Teachers College (now Salem University).
Jim’s first book, "Life In The Trenches Of American Society: How to Survive 21st Century Society” started him on a journey that currently encompasses six books, two must read manuscripts, a Manifesto to the World, and a Blog.
Jim lives and writes in Massachusetts.
