Iran threatens legal action against Google over the name of the Gulf

The name of the patch of water between Iran and the Arabian peninsula is a contentious issue, with Shiite Iran insisting it is the "Persian Gulf". Sunni Muslim Arab states across the water call it the "Arabian Gulf", or just the "Gulf", and Google opts to keep it nameless on its maps.

"Omitting the name Persian Gulf is [like] playing with the feelings and realities of the Iranian nation," foreign ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast was quoted as saying by Iran's official Press TV. He added, "Toying with modern technologies in political issues is among the new measures by the enemies against Iran, [and] in this regard, Google has been treated as a plaything."

Persian Gulf or the Gulf of Arabia? why it is important:

We know that at least up to now we have been giving Billions upon Billions in advanced arms and weaponry to Saudi Arabia and our other Arab allies to fight Iran. We also know the Iranian Saudi Arabian neo cold war has been going on for years. We are the ones who went into the Middle East to change Middle East order per Bush and God which was asinine.

Anyway up until now we have attempted to make it appear we were not openly taking sides but now we have. I have no idea how I got on the mailing list of NIAC (National Iranian American Council ) but I am. Anyway as trivial as it seems to us their concern is the US Navy has officially instructed its personnel they must refer to the Persian Gulf as the Gulf of Arabia. look at the history as a Saudi Arabian Map of 1952 displaying the correct name where the Persian Gulf is depicted.

This is an ethnically divisive, politically charged, and historically inaccurate propaganda term borrowed from the likes of Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden. The Navy’s official use of this term will only exacerbate tensions in the Middle East. We don't get it but we just officially bought in to the Saudi Iranian Neo Cold War:

Yemen's fight with rebels a regional concern Of course Iran denies it and warns us to mind our own business. Warns those in the region, do not pour oil on the fire!

Despite threats from Iran warning not to attack the Yemeni militants Iran is backing and supplying Saudi Arabia and the US continue attacks as they can while Yemen Continues to take credit for them.

Could this confrontation erupt in war between Iran and at the least US armed Saudi Arabia? Iran is warning and threatening retribution but they are supplying the Yemeni Rebels who pushed into Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia has fired well over a hundred missiles from their fighter jets as they pummel their hideouts.

You can not blame them but I had no idea the dissension goes all the way back to the naming of the Gulf. Saudi’s know it as the Gulf of Arabia and I can remember that but Iran calls it the Persian Gulf as the rest of us seem to at least until now.

Both Iran and Saudi Arabia have been using Lebanon as their battlefront up to now able to avoid direct confrontation. Iran has pumped millions of dollars in supplies and arms much to the consternation of her suffering people while Saudi Arabia has been supporting the Palestinian Authority.

A propaganda war is also being waged. Egypt and Saudi Arabia have pulled the plug on Iran’s Arabic speaking TV. It makes me wonder why they did not do that during the height of the protests when Iran’s Government sanctioned channel was televising pure lies and propaganda? I find it hard to believe that Iran is that vulnerable in that area!

So far there has been no direct confrontation. However I absolutely see what I have been warning about since Bush diverted from Afghanistan to attack Iraq and get back in the middle east to create a new middle east (dis)order! I do not give a damn what anyone says. Bush Chaney and their Democratization program in an already historically unstable middle east set all of this and more in motion!

* The hell on earth Bush created for Iraqi’s will engulf the entire Middle East before it encompasses the entire world if we can not contain it. Under Bush we broke a long standing tradition of not adding fuel to the Middle East fire by supplying weapons. We are now, including advanced weaponry and missile defense systems. The Middle East breakdown Bush started armed and funded will continue under Obama. This up to now proxy war in the middle east is under way. Wait, watch, and listen, this is not good for the world and our future!

Iran's Ghost ships miscalculated

Could we be impeded by these monstrous floating bombs in the Gulf?

Iran Trying to Hide Its Massive Oil Tankers - ...by turning ...: Iran Trying to Hide Its Massive Oil Tankers. They are loading as many tankers as they can with millions of gallons of crude and leaving them floating throughout the Gulf that is also laden with military war ships and normal fishing traffic from all area countries.Oil sanctions are posing a growing problem for Iran, prompting officials to resort to some odd—and illegal—tactics. Struggling to find buyers, the country has been storing oil on tankers whose satellite systems have been turned off since early last month, thus breaking maritime rules, the Washington Post reports.

Though the move is intended to hide the vessels as they search for ports and buyers willing to welcome them, Western surveillance systems can generally spot the GPS-disabled tankers anyway. Sanctions have prevented Iran from getting Europe-based maritime insurance, and leading ship registrars are refusing to certify Iranian ships' safety, thereby barring them access to many ports.

They are loading as many tankers as they can with millions of gallons of crude and leaving them floating throughout the Gulf that is also laden with military war ships and normal fishing traffic from all area countries. Of course once again we are hearing countless theories by the so called experts but they are dead wrong once again.

Theories usually involve trying to evade world authorities while plying the seas looking for someone to buy the crude at discount prices while off loading at sea. Yes these ships cannot get insurance for their craft as Loyd's of London is the only place that does it. How convenient! With that said I am afraid once again the world is looking at an issue with rose colored glasses, seeing only what they think would be the obvious tactic.

They are patting themselves on the backs for keeping Iran's oil off the open market concentrating on the fact that these huge ships are now floating around the world and at least hundreds floating who knows where in the Gulf of Oman now posing a great risk carrying millions of gallons of crude without a GPS for anyone in the world to monitor them thus posing a risk for the entire world as they ply their business. Yes everyone is at risk of crashing into them as is the new worry but that is the least of it.

Does anyone remember what Iran's threat has been for months now? They have threatened to close down the Gulf to our military and world commerce numerous times. While we are pleased with ourselves over what appears to be new cooperation with Iran as Ayatollah Khamenei seems to be in charge again and Ahmadinejad is losing his control we have lost sight of the pig picture here.

Has the obvious dawned on anyone yet? These so called "Ghost Ships" may be invisible to the rest of the world without a GPS to monitor their position but they are not just huge tankers floating around waiting for a victim to collide with them. I would say first that it is a safe bet to assume that Iran still has a way to control these ships remotely and they may be unmanned but they know exactly where they are.

My biggest concern and it should be the biggest humungous concern of ours is the threat to block the Gulf and these would be a great help wouldn't they. You can bet they are all packed with enough explosives to blow them remotely when in a strategic position, anywhere in the Gulf, at the mouth of the Gulf? Imagine the explosion of hundreds of millions of gallons of crude first but then the resultant floating massive hulk now floating uncontrolled in the Gulf and those who knows where waiting for who or what?

China adamantly opposes Iran developing and possessing nuclear weapons,” warning against any confrontation in the Strait of Hormuz: It gets much worse

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao defended his country’s extensive oil imports from Iran against Western pressure to consider sanctions in comments published on Thursday, and yet forthrightly warned Tehran against any effort to acquire nuclear weapons.

“China adamantly opposes Iran developing and possessing nuclear weapons,” said Wen, warning against any confrontation in the Strait of Hormuz. Beijing is usually much more coy in public about saying Iran could want nuclear arms.
That sounds promising.

Panetta: US 'fully prepared' for an Iran challenge: At a Pentagon news conference, Panetta was asked whether, in light of Iran's threat to close the strait in retaliation for stronger international economic sanctions, Washington is adjusting U.S. forces in the region.

"We are not making any special steps at this point in order to deal with the situation," Panetta replied. "Why? Because, frankly, we are fully prepared to deal with that situation now." He noted that routine planning continues as the U.S. and its allies consider a range of potential Iran-related problems. The Navy this month added a second aircraft carrier strike group in the Middle East, portraying it as part of a normal rotation and not a deliberate buildup of force. The carriers are the USS Carl Vinson and the USS Abraham Lincoln, under the control of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command in Bahrain.

Iran's foreign minister warned Arab neighbors on Thursday not to put themselves in a "dangerous position" by aligning themselves too closely with the United States in the escalating dispute over Tehran's nuclear activity. Iran has threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz, used for a third of the world's seaborne oil trade, if pending Western moves to ban Iranian crude exports cripple its lifeblood energy sector, fanning fears of a descent into wider Middle East war.

European Union foreign ministers are expected at a meeting on Monday to agree an oil embargo against Iran and a freeze on the assets of its central bank, French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe said, confirming diplomatic leaks. Saudi Arabia, the world's No. 1 oil exporter, riled Iran earlier this week when it said it could swiftly raise oil output for key customers if needed, a scenario that could transpire if Iranian exports were embargoed.

First I must say by now we are all use to middle eastern nation's threatening their perceived enemy with burning hell on earth whether they can bring it or not. Saddam Hussein did it with WMD to keep Iran at bay. Iran right now is doing it to the west to keep us and increased sanctions at bay. It will not work and we are already prepared for them.

Any military action will be to Iran's demise and she knows it. Iran makes 80% of her revenue from the gulf and the strait of Hormuz. First Iran can not shut down the Strait and any attempt would shut down Iran.

In an undated photo supplied by Lockheed Martin, an Aegis-equipped destroyer launches a missile, using hit-to-kill technology to intercept and destroy short- and medium-range ballistic missiles.

The US Navy recently performed its first test of its new HEL system, destroying a small boat in a matter of moments. We've got the video above. The Navy has begun field testing early versions of its high-energy laser (HEL).

This concept of fighting with rail guns that fire non explosive projectiles at supersonic speeds to put holes in ships 100 miles away and destroy their munitions at the same time and firing lasers to destroy the engines of small boats to disable them is at first glance a concept strange and hard to comprehend in an environment of today's high tech weapons.

However make no mistake, these weapons are very high tech, still under design, and geared towards an enemy and location we will be facing in the future. It is no coincidence that these weapons were tested at the same time the military tested its most challenging test yet of its ballistic missile defense system, blasting an incoming target out of the skies over the Pacific Ocean. The US started outfitting all military vessels in the Gulf earlier this year

It is only a matter of time before we at the very least have a "confrontation" with Iran. I always figured it would come from the Gulf as Gates said the navy as of yet is not over extended. their primary navy weapon seems for now to be those high powered boats. We seem to be building a defense and offense capable of handling a confrontation with Iran and the IRG. I find that troubling but it is worsened because we are getting ourselves into a war with our 3rd Muslim Nation we do not need this but we are prepared. Iran be careful what you ask for because you "will" get it.

Plus our middle east allies have been prepared: Weapons Sales to Iraq Move Ahead Despite US Worries: The Obama administration is moving ahead with the sale of nearly $11 billion worth of arms and training for the Iraqi military despite concerns that Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki is seeking to consolidate authority, create a one-party Shiite-dominated state and abandon the American-backed power-sharing government.

The military aid, including advanced fighter jets and battle tanks meant to help the Iraqi government protect its borders and rebuild a military that before the 1991 Persian Gulf war was one of the largest in the world; it was disbanded in 2003 after the United States invasion.

US Seals $3.48B Missiles, Technology Sale To UAE: The U.S. and U.A.E. have a strong defense relationship and are both interested in “a secure and stable” Persian Gulf region. The deal includes 96 missiles, along with supporting technology and training support that Little says will bolster the nation’s missile defense capacity. The deal includes a contract with Lockheed Martin to produce the highly sophisticated Terminal High Altitude Area Defense, or THAAD, weapon system for the U.A.E.

US to sell F-15s to Saudi Arabia: The Obama administration is poised to announce the sale of nearly US$30 billion worth of F-15 fighter jets to Saudi Arabia, U.S. officials said. The deal will send 84 new fighter jets and upgrades for 70 more, for a total of US$29.4 billion, according to the officials Wednesday, who requested anonymity because the sale has not been made public. The agreement boosts the military strength of Saudi Arabia, a key U.S. ally in the Middle East, at a time when the Obama administration is looking to counter Iranian threats in the region.

Don't forget the billions in advanced weaponry given to Israel as a "counter balance" Also the 70 Billion in advanced arms give to our so called middle east allies already to defend against Iran.

Iran opposes US hegemony, threatens action if US carrier returns: We're back!

'Iran opposes US hegemony': The US has slapped sanctions on Iran, targeting its financial sector while the EU is considering an embargo on Iranian oil. But if the West suffocates Iran, it will have no option but to respond in a severe manner, Dr Seyed Mohammad Marandi told RT.

“The problem is that the US is pushing this conflict, this confrontation, in a direction which is becoming dangerous,” said Marandi of the University of Tehran. “In the eyes of many Iranians the Americans really do not want the nuclear issue to be resolved. They simply do not recognize Iran as an independent state, because Iran opposes American hegemony.”

Iran threatens action if US carrier returns: "Iran will not repeat its warning ... the enemy's carrier has been moved to the Sea of Oman because of our drill. I recommend and emphasize to the American carrier not to return to the Persian Gulf," Salehi told IRNA. Well we're back, now what?

"I advise, recommend and warn them (the Americans) over the return of this carrier to the Persian Gulf because we are not in the habit of warning more than once," the semi-official Fars news agency quoted Salehi as saying.
Yes they are, threatening, warning, and warning of God's damnation is their standard brim fire rhetoric.

Persian Gulf tensions mount as US engages Israel on Iran: The Obama administration is engaged in a full-court press to persuade Israel that Iran’s nuclear threat can be contained short of war. The U.S. lobbying has received a mixed reception from Israel, where the Netanyahu government has not ruled out a unilateral strike on Iran. Iran, meanwhile, is taking an aggressive stance in response to mounting sanctions.

Tehran's hollow Hormuz strait threat: The Islamic Republic’s goal may still be more financial than military. Iran’s economy is teetering. In the past nine months, Iran’s currency has lost a third of its value against the dollar. Unemployment and inflation are both in the double digits. To keep afloat, Iran needs high oil prices. Should the price of oil fall below $80 per barrel, even the brutal Revolutionary Guards may not be able to maintain domestic stability for long. They know that by simply threatening tanker traffic, they can drive up the price of oil, adding hundreds of millions of dollars to their coffers.

Iran becoming a pariah state as Israeli Jews say they would support a nuclear weapons-free Middle East including Israel

Most Israelis Favor a Nuclear-Free Middle East, Poll Shows: A clear majority of Israeli Jews would support a nuclear weapons-free Middle East, even if it meant that Israel too would have to give up its stockpile of nuclear weapons.

This was the most surprising result to come out of a pair of polls conducted separately on Jewish and Palestinian citizens of Israel. The polls, conducted in November by Professor Shibley Telhami and presented Thursday at the Brookings Institution, covered a range of topics, from the Arab Spring to perceptions of the United States and hopes for the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

Iran becoming a pariah state, says US official: The United States and Israel have not ruled out military action against Iran's nuclear facilities if diplomacy fails to resolve a dispute over a programme they suspect is aimed at developing atomic weapons. Iran denies it is seeking nuclear weapons and says it would respond to any strike by attacking Israel and U.S. interests in the Gulf.

That would be a big mistake as all the war ships destined to be in the Gulf to deal with this will be carrying lasers and rail guns specifically to deal with the Iranian threat. Iran has often warned of major retaliation if they faced a military strike from Israel or the West, but the latest comments appear tailored to emphasize the expanding range of Iranian missiles following 10 days of war games. Good luck with that.

They have their medium and long range missiles but our carriers can defend against them and have more than an adequate offensive capability. I remember that at one point we had 5 carriers and their battle groups there and the Charles DeGaulle was guarding the entrance to the Gulf. Anyway it is our battleships that will be their big problem too as they are being outfitted with Lasers and Rail guns to deal with Iran's unique way of fighting in the gulf.

The U.S. Navy destroys a boat with new high-energy laser and ship splintering rail gun: Target Iran

I remember in 2009 when Obama first announced he was scrapping Bush's missile defense system that did not work other than to instigate war for the Aegis system used on land or water to go after land or water fired intermediate-range missile's. This was the first successful test of a land fired missile from a ship. Of course defending against Iran in the future is the announced goal. Iran can already reach Europe. US Military Successfully Tests Missile Defense System

That said, at the same time we test the high energy laser successfully its goal to be soon on every navy vessel in order to be fired from the ship at the motors of small boats setting them on fire thus disabling them rendering them useless and dead in the water. Supposedly the HEL would come of use against pirates but it is no surprise that Iran banks heavily on its use of small high powered boats in the Gulf.

These Lasers are designed to take them out of the equation. It is no surprise that both Bush and Iran with the IRG (Iran Revolutionary Guard) did everything possible to instigate war and it was only because cooler heads prevailed that they were not successful in this endeavor. There were many provocations as you may remember by fast boats just like the one taken out in the video above. We now have a defense against them albeit still being tested and soon will be many times more powerful. The U.S. Navy destroys a boat with new high-energy laser

I had no idea there was even such a thing as a rail gun but they list it as an enemy of the laser so we have to learn more about them and build a successful one. I have to imagine Iran has one or can get their hands on one.

A rail gun is a projectile device that, via a combination of electrical impulses and magnetic fields, can send a non-explosive projectile vast distances with excessive force. They are extremely high-tech, high-efficiency cannons. In this case, the technology allows the projectiles being fired to break the speed of sound, I have heard up to 8 times the speed of sound. This allows the gun to have a range of approximately 100 miles. To lend that some context, the Navy’s current artillery has a range of only 12 miles but I have read up to 26 miles. Either way this is a formidable weapon and perfect for the Gulf against Iran!

The current design fired a projectile at 33 megajoules. Megajoules are a way of measuring kinetic energy; A ton up to a 100 miles at up to 8 times the speed of sound that is formidable! These devices are designed to put gigantic holes in enemy ships while simultaneously destroying enemy munitions in the process — causing damage of a previously unachievable scope. Navy punches through records with ship-splintering railgun

It is only a matter of time before we at the very least have a "confrontation" with Iran. I always figured it would come from the Gulf as Gates said the navy as of yet is not over extended. A senior Revolutionary Guard commander threatened that U.S. aircraft carriers would be targeted if Iran came under attack: Think again!

Iranian commander: A senior Revolutionary Guard commander threatened Saturday that U.S. aircraft carriers would be targeted if Iran came under attack amid a standoff with the West over Tehran's nuclear program. Still in its infancy: The new middle east disorder and we're right in the middle of it

UN chief slams Syria's crackdown on protests
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has described Syria's harsh crackdown on protests and use of deadly force against demonstrators as "unacceptable".
Middle East unrest: Syria arrests Damascus protesters

Protests broke out in four Syrian cities on Friday, the first large-scale demonstrations here since the pro-democracy uprisings began in the Arab world three months ago. In Syria, Crackdown After Protests Wow Syria, what does that mean for Iran?

Thousands of mourners called Saturday for "revolution" at the funeral of protesters killed by Syrian security forces, the boldest challenge to Syria's rulers since uprisings began sweeping the Arab world.

Tribes warn of violence if Syrian regime does not withdraw troops The demonstrations were the latest of a growing number in the past three days, as the uprisings and unrest that spread from Tunisia to Egypt to Bahrian and Libya appear to have reached Syria, one of the most tightly controlled societies in the Middle East. They want the tanks removed and over flights stopped. This is really spreading and could be good if we play our cards right.

Saudi Arabia's decision to send troops into Bahrain to help stabilize the country following violent anti-government demonstrations marks another stage in Riyadh's reluctant emergence as a regional policeman at a time when the Arab world faces unprecedented turmoil and even armed rebellion. Iran Calls Saudi Troop Presence in Bahrain 'Unacceptable'

There is no surprise here but remember the big picture! By getting rid of Saddam we freed Iran up to instigate for the Shiite version of a new middle east order. The Iran evolutionary Guard has been instigating, arming, and training in Yemen for years amongst other countries. In Bahrain the Shiite minority majority is rebelling against the Sunni minority majority. You don't think Iran is instigating them? Of course Saudi Arabia is came to the rescue of the Sunni minority leadership.
I have to remind you of something we have been discussing for years now as it is coming out in the open as the Iranian Saudi Arabian neo cold war is coming out in the open.

You can not blame them but I had no idea the dissention goes all the way back to the naming of the Gulf.

Clinton Says Libya Options Include Drones and Arming Rebels, no fly zone, attack Gaddafi forces, sounds like another war to me
Clinton Says Libya Options Include Drones and Arming Rebels The French have 20 planes there and have already engaged. The Canadian planes are on their way to Italy and Navy assets are on their way to Libya to neutralize Gaddafi's Navy. UN approves no-fly zone over Libya; raids may begin Friday

Saudi Arabia is helping Bahrain brutally put down the Shiite minority that Iran says she might arm. I tend to believe the middle east break down Sunni against Shiite is well under way. Bahraini Shiites bury their dead from crackdown

Yemeni Protesters Under Heavy Fire, 29 dead

In closing: Bush's intention in attacking Iraq was to get our military back in the Middle East to help Israel establish a safety zone, create a new middle east (dis)order as God told him to, and to establish a permanent middle east presence. I was very concerned that this entire mess in the middle east would take on a life of its own We freed Iran up to instigate for their new order by eliminating Saddam who kept them contained.

The middle east is exploding as we long said it would and anti Israeli anti US forces are trying to use it to their advantage. Israel is nervous as they should be with all their hedging at a real 2 state solution. Across the Arab world, people living under the thumb of repressive leaders are rising up against the rulers who once seemed omnipotent. It is no coincidence these were all American allies! They are not quite sure what they want. But from North Africa to the Arabian Peninsula, they know they want change. And their wrath and their courage are creating a new form of Arab unity.

The goal since we went back into the Middle East has been to see whose version of a new middle east order will prevail. I have faith it will not be Persian Iran's version and not ours but rather a free and Democratic Arabian version whatever shape that may take.

The Middle East breakdown Bush started armed and funded is continuing under Obama. This up to now proxy war in the middle east is under way. Wait, watch, and listen, this is not good for the world and our future!

The entire middle east is going to erupt Sunni against Shiite and don't forget Israel and the Kurds and we are going to be right in the middle of it!

Saudi Arabia polices the region as trouble stirs at home: Remember the Iran Saudi Arabian proxy war?

Saudi Arabia's decision to send troops into Bahrain to help stabilize the country following violent anti-government demonstrations marks another stage in Riyadh's reluctant emergence as a regional policeman at a time when the Arab world faces unprecedented turmoil and even armed rebellion. Saudi Arabia polices the region as trouble stirs at home

Iran Calls Saudi Troop Presence in Bahrain 'Unacceptable'

There is mo surprise here but remember the big picture! Of course Saudi Arabia is coming to the rescue of the Sunni minority leadership. Gulf security forces enter Bahrain, demonstrations escalate

Gulf provides wrong kind of support for Bahrain

I have to remind you of something we have been discussing for years now as it is coming out in the open as the Iranian Saudi Arabian neo cold war is coming out in the open.

The Navy’s official use of this term only exacerbated tensions in the Middle East. We don't get it but we officially bought in to the Saudi Iranian Neo Cold War:

Yemen's fight with rebels a regional concern Of course Iran denies it and warns us to mind our own business. Warns those in the region, do not pour oil on the fire!

Despite threats from Iran warning not to attack the Yemeni militants Iran is backing and supplying Saudi Arabia and the US continue attacks as they can while Yemen Continues to take credit for them now they are in open civil war. You don't think Iran is behind that?.

You can not blame them but I had no idea the dissention goes all the way back to the naming of the Gulf.

The Middle East breakdown Bush started armed and funded is continuing under Obama. This up to now proxy war in the middle east is under way. Wait, watch, and listen, this is not good for the world and our future!

Look at Libya, what are we going to do there? Saudi Arabia and Egypt want us to implement a no fly zone. What is Iran doing behind the scenes? What is going to happen in Bahrain? We know whose side Saudi Arabia is on. They opened their air space to Israel so they could attack Iran if need be. Like it or not, agree or not, this total middle east break down is under way and as I feared has taken on a life of its own. Sunni against Shiite will rule the day!

Persian Gulf or the Gulf of Arabia? why it is important:

US more likely to attack Iran says George Bush's in the know CIA Director. What a surprise, no kidding?

Larajani and double speak on Iran's nuclear program: Analyze it yourself

Iran says it has 100 vessels set aside for each US warship So what!

'US more likely to attack Iran' No kidding?

The plans for what is happening in the middle east today with Israel, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, the US, all of them was in the works well before G W Bush. Bush broke 50 years of tradition in not arming Middle East countries thus adding fire to an already very volatile region. He began giving advanced weaponry to our so called allies in the Middle East so they could defend themselves and go on the offense against Iran if necessary. As you may know this policy has continued under Obama.

I understand the threats of readiness and retaliation coming from Iran. However in response I learned to jump not talk and if someone is talking they do not want to jump. A few years back we had up to 5 carrier Battle Groups either in the Gulf or ready to respond there on call including extra fighters B1's, B2's, tankers for air refueling, the whole works. Frances aircraft carrier Charles DeGaulle was at the mouth of the Gulf.

I know under Bush we did our damnedest to instigate war with Iran and Iran through the revolutionary guard did their share trying to get the war going and out in the open. That said, this has been setting up for years and way before Bush, Obama or Ahmadinejad and his stolen election. It is not going to be quelled because Iran threatens that they have 100 vessels to go after every one that we have in the Gulf.

I remember watching the IRG fighting protestors on motorcycles and parading their thugs on motorcycles in parades. Like you I remember the IRG flitting about in their little speed boats instigating Britain and the US however to threaten they will close the straight of Hormuz to oil traffic and all ships including our military is a bit bellicose and a joke unless they are relying on Russia to help them. At this point I would say that is not a good idea.

Like it or not Bush's interference in the Middle East was planned and set on paper in 1996 and at this point has gone too long and far to be hindered by threats of sending 10,000 "vessels" against our Navy. Remember this memo penned in 1996? In this short policy memo, which Netanyahu, and his successor-Likud Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, totally adopted as the core strategy of their administrations, spelled out a four-pronged attack on the peace process and the entire Arab world. It has become a self-evident truth that, since the Bush "43" and Sharon governments came into power simultaneously in early 2001, "A Clean Break" has been the guiding strategic doctrine of both--particularly following the irregular warfare attacks on New York and Washington on Sept. 11, 2001.

The Perle-Wurmser policy document demanded: 1) Destroy Yasser Arafat and the Palestinian Authority, blaming them for every act of Palestinian terrorism, including the attacks from Hamas, an organization which Sharon had helped launch during his early 1980's tenure as Minister of Defense. 2) Induce the United States to overthrow the Saddam Hussein regime in Iraq.

3) Launch war against Syria after Saddam's regime is disposed of, including striking Syrian military targets in Lebanon, and targets in Syria proper. 4) Parlay the overthrow of the Ba'athist regimes in Baghdad and Damascus into the "democratization" of the entire Arab world, including through further military actions against Iran, Saudi Arabia, and "the ultimate prize," Egypt a clean break

The timeline for this is a little different from what we now know but you can not deny any of the events. As for the reality of what the real reasons and goals for all this, we will never know. I will again guarantee you that there will be a new middle east order. It will be total disorder and no one will like it.

With the US and Israel wanting their idea of a new middle east order and the so called Islamist's wanting their conflicting version, they have guaranteed a disastrous result for the entire middle east. None of this can surprise you now but until it all unfolds as truth it will be denied like everything else until it becomes horrible, undeniable, reality.

Balancing Power they call it! Bush will be free to go after Pakistan and Iran from the Gulf then turn on Saudi Arabia!

Balancing power they call it. U.S. promises of military aid or arms sales to strengthen its Middle Eastern allies against Iran and other regional foes seem aimed at repairing a balance of power destroyed by the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq. That is not what is going to happen or what this is about.
Supposedly Toppling Saddam Hussein ended Iraq's role as a counterweight to Iran, a part it had played since the 1980s in a Gulf security system that Washington had hoped would contain the rival powers. That was only the smallest of the repercussions. Toppling Saddam gave Bush the excuse to get into the middl east, upset the balance of the entire middle east as Bush knew would be the case, and set the stage for Bush's new middle east order that has long been planned and he will not stop now.
This is still just beginning but it will increase rapidly once Bush has others to fight for him. I had some interesting conversations yesterday in relation to yesterdays conversation on this story. That made me remember how long this has all been planned, and put the rest of this developing scenario together. After 50 years of middle east policy and not arming them to fight wars Bush has changed that in hopes of getting them to fight Iran and Syria.
Bush will be freed to attack Pakistan and Iran from the Gulf as Iraq quiets and others fight Iran on the ground!
Realizing Bush has now pushed his effort to attack Iran in part to a proxy war via Israel, Saudi Arabia, and other so called middle east allies, and after yesterdays dose of ignorance. I realized that it is time to stop talking because it is worthless and Bush will not stop or be stopped. We must make a Difference!
He will now be free to go after Pakistan and Iran from the Gulf with our carrier and battle Groups while others will be doing the brunt of the fighting and ground combat. Everything is almost prepared. Bush is prepared in the Gulf and we have a seasoned fleet Admiral in command of middle east forces set to lead events while others expend their efforts on Iran. Gorbachev is right and this will not be good.
I have heard that we are thinking of sending undercover special forces to Turkey in order to combat Kurds from Iraq. I wouldn't put it past Bush at all but that too will backfire on us.You know there are those of us that expect Bush to attack Pakistan too. I expect it in conjunction with the attack on Iran this fall or shortly thereafter. Now he will be in a position to do it.With what he is now doing with Israel, Saudi Arabia, and other so called middle east allies, He will be freed to go after Pakistan while others focus on Iran. With our carrier and battle groups in the Gulf He will be free to take them both on. Bush is one happy camper.
One other victim of Bush's is a surprise to some I am sure, It is Saudi Arabia and they know it and have expressed their concern to Russia. When Bush is done using Saudi Arabia he will then turn on them. This is old but right on. Let me know what you think.Bush's terrible plan for new middle east order! now I have the proof! This is not good!
I was looking at the notes I took down last night from the various articles I had from Bush's most recent Rant on Iraq. Like you, I find his senseless babble very disturbing. Especially knowing that he is going to say or do anything to follow his plan for new world order. Many of you know I have been saying for quite a while that Bush will do or say anything in order to follow his Russian Doctrine of Destruction for new societal, middle east, and world order. His plan at the link! http://www.anaveragepatriot.com/...
Please look past the source and look at the reality called the proven truth. I knew Bush purposely upset the middle east, Iraq would be lost, Iran attacked, and the entire middle east embroiled. I now have the proof and this is old news.
