Assad warns Israel as 'rebels flood Qusayr: Sounds like a trap for all involved

You can see Israel taking out Russia's missiles and there is a big concern there because the S300 is advanced and most likely fields a Russian crew ordered to defend its interests. With so much being poured into Qusayr and so much death and destruction, I hate to say it but it is merely a sign of things to come unless someone capitulates.

Now we hear Russia is going to upset what little balance is left by sending Syria 10 mig-29's Russia warned not to deliver missiles to Syria

Iran and Syria seem to be welcoming our response as they are also influencing the Shiite leadership in Iraq and eager to impress their version of a new Middle East order which Bush set in motion by attacking Iraq and freeing especially Iran to pursue.

Another Proxy war is going on and is setting up this one between the west and their Middle East allies and Syria, Hezbollah and and Iran, armaments as need happily supplied by Russia and the EU supplying the protesters.

George w Bush purposely did this in his infinite stupidity: I have to reiterate something I have said too many times since Bush chose to ignore all warnings of total civil war spreading throughout the entire Middle East so he could attack Iraq and straighten out the Middle East as God spoke to him and instructed him to.

You know I firmly believe and have said so a million times by now that since 9/11 everything was construed to allow Bush to gain the power he needed to prosecute his new order not just in the Middle East but on the entire world! He diverted from Afghanistan to get back into the Middle East with the goal of setting up a larger safety zone for Israel and going after Iran. As expected this democratization started by Bush has taken on a life of its own.

I still see a total civil war Sunni against Shiite erupting in the Middle East because Bush freed up Iran to instigate it on their end and they are. I still am concerned we will have a permanent presence in the Middle East but feel we will have to largely leave Iraq to her own demise. We will still be there but it looks like Yemen, and the Gulf of Aden will be the prime focus unless Iran gets something going between the US and Iran.

Saddam Hussein with his lies about possessing WMD kept Iran in check. Bush freed Iran up to pursue her version of new middle East order by interfering wherever she could while Bush was doing the same thing with his Middle East Democratization program. I think you can see how successful Bush and Cheney were with their chaos creating Middle East Democracy program but you are barely seeing the results they created in Iran.

The goal absolutely is to be the country who decides which direction the new Middle East (dis)order will take. Bush started it by attacking Iraq to get into the middle east to destabilize it and start the new middle east order the idiot said God told him to do now it will be up to Iran and Saudi Arabia at least up front fight it out whether this goes the Iranian Shiite way or the Saudi Arabian Sunni way and do not forget Israel!

Both will fail! It has long been my contention that coming to Israel's aid once they attack Iran will be our in to Iran!

The entire middle east and north Africa and our more than century of interference and exploitation can take the blame for that too. Planting our military in the middle of the mess Bush has created out of the Middle East because of his failed Democratization program is going to be a Custer's Last Stand on a grand scale if we are still there when this breaks open! Looking at the war cabinet Obama has amassed I am going to say at this point that this is going to happen even under a President Obama.

Actually Russia, China and Lebanon have blocked a move for the UN Security Council to condemn Syria's crackdown on dissent. Sanctioning slaughter is more like it! I believe I remember hearing Russia weigh in against what Syria and Iran are doing but China has yet to weigh in. Any way you look at it we are playing into Iran’s hand.

You have to be very concerned about what is happening in Syria especially. Iran and Hezbollah are not going to allow Syria to fall to Democracy. Iran is in Syria helping Bashar Assad and they do not want us interfering. What we saw after the voter fraud in Iran was mild compared to what the IRG will do if this movement spreads to Iran. I really wish Assad would step down but Iran is the elephant in the room any way you look at it. The total Middle East breakdown we have written about numerous times is well under way. We can only hope we keep it from erupting into WW3.

America's Role in Helping Iran Develop its Nuclear Program: It was called Atoms for peace, ironic isn't it?

America's Role in Helping Iran Develop its Nuclear Program: Yes, the U.S. once aided Tehran's civilian nuclear program, a reminder that even peaceful nuclear cooperation can have unintended consequences. Iran's nuclear program poses a threat to many nations--particularly Israel and the United States. Yet, it is sometimes forgotten that Washington was an early supporter of Tehran's nuclear ambitions.

The United States provided peaceful nuclear assistance to Iran from 1957 to 1979, when the two states were allies. Washington exported the Tehran Research Reactor (TRR), enriched uranium to fuel it, and "hot cells," which can be used to produce plutonium--a critical ingredient for making nuclear weapons. All of this aid was provided for civilian uses, but it ended up indirectly augmenting Iran's nuclear weapons program. The Iranian experience exposes a problem known as the dual-use dilemma: because nuclear technology has both peaceful and military applications, nuclear energy aid provides a potential foundation for a bomb program.

Yes the program was called atoms for peace and amongst others we also helped Pakistan another country we are very concerned with today. What a coincidence or situation normal as our interference always creates more of our own problems?

Iran has an aging nuclear facility and the US built it and started Bushehr ironic isn't it?

Yep we did it again! We just can't stop screwing ourselves and the world. The Bushehr project dates backs to 1974, when Iran's American-backed government  began plans to build the reactor.

Atom's for peace was a program started by the US to build nuclear facilities for Pakistan and Iran. Rather ironic isn't it? The Tehran Research Reactor is an aging nuclear facility located in the heart of the Iranian capital. It was built by the United States as a nuclear research facility 40 years ago; it is now at the center of Iran's claims that it needs nuclear fuel for peaceful purposes only. The reactor makes radioactive materials for use in hospitals - for example in the treatment of cancer.

We gave them their start! We gave them their cover for their real goal of achieving nuclear weapons. A reminder: As you know, when asked by a journalist how he felt upon returning to Iran in 1979 after 15 years in exile. Khomeini’s curt, one-word reply was “nothing” Whoa! From day one of his return to Iran Khomeini expressed no love for Iran only a love of the atom bomb. The drive even then was to possess a nuclear weapon though that desire is still denied until Iran can get their hands on one.

I have tried to give Iran the benefit of the doubt when they say their nuclear desires are peaceful knowing they could use nuclear power as an energy source for their growing population. I have always asserted that perceived need could be cover for the real goal of developing a nuclear weapon.

The nuclear program of Iran was launched in the 1950s with the help of the United States as part of the Atoms for Peace program.[1] The support, encouragement and participation of the United States and Western European governments in Iran's nuclear program continued until the 1979 Islamic revolution that toppled the Shah of Iran. We are so concerned about Pakistan and Iran today in regard to nuclear abilities and nuclear weapons and security. I was blown away to find out that we built the first nuclear Reactors in both Iran and Pakistan. Nuclear program of Iran - atoms for peace Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I would have to assume this was after we overthrew the democratically elected President of Iran Mohammad Mosaddeq to install our ruthless puppet the Shah of Iran. We built and supplied Iran's first reactor because we thought we were in control. What the hell is wrong with us? That makes us personally responsible for the 1979 Revolution in Iran, the capture of our hostages, the disaster in the desert after a failed attempt to rescue them, the rise of the Revolutionary Guard, the protesters dilemma, the nuclear issue in Iran today, everything!

You know, I have long said that Iran’s civilian nuclear program is a cover for their nuclear weapons program. Arab leaders feel the same way. They fear a nuclear arms race and I can only conclude that knowing how far along Iran is and how they feel that they are hedging their bets and it is already under way clandestinely.

The Gulf Corporation Council “Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman. And the United Arab Emirates, who are all incidentally armed by us with advanced conventional weapons and technology and missile defense batteries all want the Middle East to be declared a nuclear safe zone. That as you know is DOA as neither Israel or the US will never agree to that. The centuries of acrimony and convoluted Relationships throughout the Middle East though I knew of it is mind boggling and worse than I thought so I invite you to read the report it is eye opening! Why Arab leaders worry about Iran's nuclear program

You know from numerous discussions here that Iran is involved in every Middle Eastern country not just Yemen, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia where they have corrupted elections for Shiite interests in Iraq, backing rebels in Yemen, and instigating attacks on Saudi oil fields. Bush freed Iran to instigate far and wide and are even training Taliban on their border. Any new actions will only serve to worsen their instigation and cause them to cause chaos everywhere they can and further Bush's total Middle East breakdown Period. As powerful in death as life; remember Khomeini's Ghost

After 6 high assassinations Some officials on condition of anonymity say it might be time for Assad to step down and that he no longer listens to advice!

Some officials on condition of anonymity say it might be time for Assad to step down and that he no longer listens to advice! We have confirmation from the Free Syrian Army, from the battalion itself that an operation took place and that it has assassinated six of Bashar al-Assad's highest ranking officials! Syrian army shelling, gunfire kills 34 in Hama: group

The vain search for dialogue in a battle-scarred Syria:

Syria: Damascus clashes prompt claims of high-level assassinations: Damascus clashes prompt claims of high-level assassinations. State media in Syria have denied claims by the Free Syrian Army that it has assassinated six of Bashar al-Assad's highest ranking officials. We have confirmation from the Free Syrian Army, from the battalion itself that an operation took place yesterday.

We still have other four figures who did not appear so far and perhaps they may not appear. Some of them might be recovering from what happened last night. We were told that they were poisoned but we do not know who died last night, as I told you, so maybe the regime is taking some time now to try to solve what is happening, trying to cover up for what happened.

Syrian army shelling, gunfire kills 34 in Hama: group: Syrian army shelling and gunfire killed 34 people, including children, on Sunday in the town of Souran in the central province of Hama, the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said. "The army shelled the town and then stormed it," the head of the group Rami Abdelrahman told Reuters, citing residents.

Iran and Syria seem to be welcoming our response as they are also influencing the Shiite leadership in Iraq and eager to impress their version of a new Middle East order which Bush set in motion by attacking Iraq and freeing especially Iran to pursue. The IRG has taken the lead in the latest attacks on protester strongholds. Full blown war and nothing less. Assad will go nowhere!

Occupy the World

The Arab spring gave birth to the occupy movement which became "occupy the world"

The Occupy Wall Street movement has become a global phenomenon, spreading to more than 1,000 cities in the United States and at least 92 countries worldwide: Occupy Wall Street, a leaderless protest movement that started in New York City, has quickly become a global phenomenon. On Sept. 17, men and women of varied backgrounds and beliefs organized at New York City's Zuccotti Park in nonviolent protest.

The protestors say they represent the 99 percent and have gathered in protest with the goal of ending the greed and corruption amongst the wealthiest 1 percent of America. "This is a populist movement," New York occupier, Tony Smith, told Digital Journal. "We don't know why everyone is out of work, but the stratification between the rich and poor has grown to an alarming level, and people in poverty aren't going to stand for it much longer."

First I really have to say that I am impressed that some here are finally standing up to the corporatocracy that rules and governs this country. I am also dismayed to see them degraded as ilk and rabble rousing nay Sayers. They are speaking the truth whoever they may be and once again the truth is going to be discounted and if by force as necessary so a hidden selfish agenda can be followed.

With that said I watched the Arab spring countries thinking that we should be doing the same thing here and for exactly the same reasons. Less so in some degrees and more so in others! I was wondering what it would take to get us in the streets and now I know. However, I remember when this started on wall street a protester was interviewed and he nailed it when he said this is our Arab spring.

The movement has become a global phenomenon, spreading to more than 1,000 cities in the United States and at least 92 countries worldwide but it started with the Arab spring. The Arab spring gave birth to the occupy movement which became "occupy the world" I believe it will continue to grow unless another war possibly a world war intervenes and side tracks this movement one way or the other.

Of course the US is taking credit for starting this but as we know it was the Arab spring countries. It is however right that the US pick up the gauntlet and lead the way.

we the average citizens of every country regardless of ethnicity are fighting for the same thing. We are all fighting because we are being lied to , controlled, we have no jobs, no food, we have no future. In Yemen, Syria, and Bahrain they are being stepped on and killed.

They are protesting in Europe for the same reasons. The entire world is feeling the pinch even China who has been taking measures against its citizens for months. China as you can surmise is starting to hurt because its biggest customers the EU and the US are in trouble. I warned years ago for countries to stop wishing for the US demise because today we are all intertwined, the leader goes down we all go down.

What is happening in Europe and the Arab spring countries is now here. The weak always feel the hurt first and we have been pretty weak over the last ten years because of our grotesque governing in the first place. Average citizens of the world have hit the breaking point. The Wall street protests have spread to Boston and around the country with promises to get results.

We are all peeved. As our plight worsens at the hands of our grossly inadequate bickering mis-government even in the US the breaking point in many instances has been hit. The worlds Governments and the worlds citizens will pay the price. Anarchy is our future.

Syria's Assad says intervention will burn region as the US prepares to do just that

Amid calls for western intervention and a no fly zone Syria's Assad says intervention will burn region as the US prepares to do just that
Syria's Assad says intervention will burn region: Syrian President Bashar Assad warned against Western intervention in his country's 7-month-old uprising, saying such action would trigger an "earthquake" that "would burn the whole region." Assad comments, published in an interview with Britain's Sunday Telegraph, were made against a backdrop of growing calls from anti-regime protesters for a no-fly zone over Syria and increasingly frequent clashes between government troops and army defectors, which left at least 30 troops dead late Saturday. "Syria is the hub now in this region. It is the fault line, and if you play with the ground you will cause an earthquake," Assad said. "Do you want to see another Afghanistan, or tens of Afghanistan's?" Yes they do! That is the reason Iraq was illegally attacked in the first place. Cheney was Behind New Mideast War Drive: Executive intelligence Report, Return of `Clean Break'

U.S. to boost Gulf presence after Iraq: The Obama administration plans to bolster the American military presence in the Persian Gulf after it withdraws the remaining troops from Iraq this year, according to officials and diplomats. That repositioning could include new combat forces in Kuwait able to respond to a collapse of security in Iraq or a military confrontation with Iran.: In addition to negotiations over maintaining a ground combat presence in Kuwait, the United States is considering sending more naval warships through international waters in the region. With an eye on the threat of a belligerent Iran, the administration is also seeking to expand military ties with the six nations in the Gulf Cooperation Council — Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Oman. While the United States has close bilateral military relationships with each, the administration and the military are trying to foster a new “security architecture” for the Persian Gulf that would integrate air and naval patrols and missile defense. Back in 2007 we thought this war would get going so we had 5 aircraft carriers in the Gulf and the Charles DeGaulle was guarding the mouth!

Also a while back: At the same time as it denies cooperating with preparations for a potential Israeli attack on Iran, Saudi Arabia prepares for strike of its own. Saudi Arabia’s air force has signed a deal to upgrade its fleet of 150 strike aircraft and procure advanced weaponry to respond to an Iranian military threat while simultaneously denying reports that the country is coordinating with Israel over a possible strike against Iran’s nuclear sites.

“The Saudis are very worried about the growing power of Iran,”I use to be concerned that the old confrontation would erupt in war between Iran and at the least US armed Saudi Arabia?

You can not blame them but I had no idea the dissension goes all the way back to the naming of the Gulf. Saudi’s know it as the Gulf of Arabia and I can remember that but Iran calls it the Persian Gulf as the rest of us seem to now.

Both Iran and Saudi Arabia have been using Lebanon as their battlefront up to now able to avoid direct confrontation. Iran has pumped millions of dollars in supplies and arms much to the consternation of her suffering people while Saudi Arabia has been supporting the Palestinian Authority. In Syria Iran has been helping the Shiite Bashar minority kill protesters while you can bet Saudi Arabia if not Al Qaeda has been helping the Sunni majority oppressed by Bashar.

So far there has been no direct confrontation. However I absolutely saw what I have been warning about since Bush diverted from Afghanistan to attack Iraq and get back in the middle east to create a new middle east (dis)order! I do not give a damn what anyone says. Bush Cheney and their Democratization program in an already historically unstable middle east set all of this and more in motion!

The hell on earth Bush created for Iraqi’s will engulf the entire Middle East before it encompasses the entire world if we can not contain it. Under Bush we broke a long standing tradition of not adding fuel to the Middle East fire by supplying weapons. We are now, including advanced weaponry and missile defense systems. The Middle East breakdown Bush started armed and funded continues under Obama. This up to now proxy war in the middle east is under way and Saudi Arabia is hoping Israel keeps Iran busy until the US is forced to come to their rescue as you know they will. Wait, watch, and listen, this is not good for the world and our future!

Israeli intelligence experts say that Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Jordan are at least as worried as themselves and the West about an Iranian nuclear arsenal.Israel has sent missile-class warships and at least one submarine capable of launching a nuclear warhead through the Suez Canal for deployment in the Red Sea within the past year, as both a warning to Iran and in anticipation of a possible strike.

When all is said and done we hear our navy is not over extended and I disagree but their assets will be used here but it would be tough on the country at a bad time. Food, gas and oil, will be rationed but as you know I have said before, knowing a nuclear Iran would to common sensed eyes mean a power balance in the middle east you have to come to the conclusion that is not wanted.

Israel will never accept a nuclear Iran and will attack. Whoever is President will come to their rescue! Once again war will occur to prevent war. That makes sense yeah! Again as I keep saying, at one time the threat of mutual destruction use to be a deterrence. Today it seems to be the goal.

Iran and Syria seem to be welcoming our response as they are also influencing the Shiite leadership in Iraq and eager to impress their version of a new Middle East order which Bush set in motion by attacking Iraq and freeing especially Iran to pursue.

Another Proxy war is going on and is setting up this one between the west and their Middle East allies and Syria and Iran.

Jordan: Israeli security, 1967 borders key to peace, Forget it!

Jordan: Israeli security, 1967 borders key to peace: Jordan's King Abdullah II said on Saturday that a peace deal between Israelis and Palestinians would have to ensure Israel's security and acceptance and enable the creation of a Palestinian state.

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Jordan, Abdullah went on to criticize "short-sighted leaders, who think they can close the door to peace."
According to the Petra New Agency, Abdullah met with Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad on the sidelines of the forum, affirming his support for a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders.
Forget it!

Palestine's Mahmoud Abbas requested full membership to the UN and an independent State side by side with Israel but you know despite the world wanting it, it will not happen because Israel and the US does not want it but want status quo including talking for eternity.

After listening to Benjamin Netanyahu talk about the 4000 year history behind his name and Israel it reinforces even more what I have said too many times and that is that there will ever be peace in the middle east, ever, as long as there are Jews, Arabs, and Persians.

I was impressed when President Obama came out and said Israel must go back to the 1967 borders which I do not believe they will ever do but he is the first US President to take the right stance. Obama Backs Deal Based on 1967 Lines

As Obama Endorses '67 Borders, Netanyahu Objects Of course, they do not want a two state solution and they will never share Palestine.

As we discussed there is a rising cry around the world for Israel to return to 1967 borders but they do not care and never will, only Israel matters to them period!

The only thing to do is to force the instigating war mongers Israel to adhere to 181 or leave them to their own demise and Iran would see to it. You know, first reading how Israel and Palestine was allotted their territories in 1948 I do not condone that Israel has not been forced to adhere to that resolution. We, the US Britain and Europe especially are as guilty as Israel for not insisting Israel adhere to UN Resolution 181

Israel knows they are over their head but they know they can ignore the world because they own the US. Right or wrong they have the US in their pocket!

They have the US! Israel does not care what anyone thinks period! I realized a long time ago that Israel is the world's chief war monger and we seem to do their bidding and fighting. If they get into a war with Iran who wants Israel wiped of the map we will end up coming to their rescue regardless of what they do or what anyone says and that is sad! We should in fact take care of Jewish American's and American's and our interests in Israel and otherwise tell them in no uncertain terms they are on their own if they continue to flaunt the worlds will and instigate war not peace and expecting us to come to their rescue.

Israel is not going to back down. When all is said and done they know the US will be there for them. I am sure the US plans to come to Israel's rescue and do it largely from the Gulf with numerous carrier fighter groups. When are we going to realize this entire mess I call a forever war is just beginning and this is our future. A future of war for us and profiteering for the elite!

Israel and the US will continue to flaunt Palestinian and world desires for a free Palestine and a two state solution until one way or the other what is happening in the Arab spring countries gets Iran and us openly involved. There is so much other degradation happening in the US and around the world I hate that this is happening and it is all unnecessary. We can only hope this does not turn into WW3.

*In closing Israel is not listening they do not care what the world wants and the middle east is changing into what other than chaos we do not know. I am afraid the Arab spring may give birth to the Israeli fall or even worse, it is up to us, "China the United States, and Russia!

Iran is getting desperate: Battleships off our coast now assassination attempts in Washington DC

Iran has had a proxy war with Saudi Arabia in Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Bahrain, indeed in the whole of the Middle East looking to control which way the new middle east order takes.

Our friends Iran's IRG "Iranian Revolutionary Guard" is the most militant of Iran's militant wings "Iran's seal team 6" They are on the cusp of Iran's instigation around the Middle East and now it appears the world. Wanting to put battleships off our coast now an assassination attempt on Saudi Arabia's Ambassador in Washington DC

Senior U.S. official: Plot to kill Saudi ambassador thwarted: U.S. agents have disrupted an Iranian "murder-for-hire" scheme targeting Saudi Arabia's ambassador to the United States, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said Tuesday.Holder said the alleged plan was directed by elements of the Iranian government. A naturalized U.S. citizen holding Iranian and U.S. passports and a member of Iran's revolutionary guard were involved, the FBI said in a statement."The U.S. is committed to holding Iran accountable," Holder said.

I almost want to laugh! Why don't they try to rob Fort Knox? Anyway this is not funny, I remember years ago when Iran said they had thousands of sleeper cells already in the country waiting to be activated. We arrested the Iranian, US citizen but the other member supposedly from the Qods force part of the IRG is in "another country"

As you know, the IRGC was set up to protect the ruling authority after 1979 and are supposed to be controlled By Ayatollah Khamenei authority. I know Ahmadinejad and 2/3 of his first 21 member cabinet were ex IRGC members and that simply reinforces that I am increasingly led to think the IRGC has become the final authority not the Supreme leader.

The Supreme leader is appearing as a puppet needed to keep the religious leaders together and to make it appear that they are still in charge. They have become a major force capable of taking control of Iran and I am afraid nothing less than that is what has happened.

Not only has the IRGC perpetrated the horror and brutality we all witnessed in and out of jail during the protests after the stolen election to keep Ahmadinejad and the IRG in power and lord knows the horror we will never know about but to add insult to injury The IRGC is in control of furthering Shiite demands around the Middle East!

You know by now what they are doing in Yemen, Iraq, Syria and everywhere they can in the Middle East. I now believe Khamenei is unknowingly enforcing a lie and Ahmadinejad and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard are pulling the strings.!

Iran to send ships near U.S. waters: Iran plans to send ships near the Atlantic coast of the United States, state-run Islamic Republic News Agency reported T, quoting a commander. "The Navy of the Iranian Army will have a powerful presence near the United States borders," read the headline of the story, in Farsi. "Commander of the Navy of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran broke the news about the plans for the presence of this force in the Atlantic Ocean and said that the same way that the world arrogant power is present near our marine borders, we, with the help of our sailors who follow the concept of the supreme jurisprudence

Why do I want to laugh? I thought Iran was running out of food, water, oil, and money and only partly because of sanctions imposed by the west? State-run Press TV said Sayari had announced similar plans in July. In February, two Iranian Navy ships traversed the Suez Canal in the first such voyages by Iranian ships since 1979.

U.S. Defense Department officials had no immediate reaction to the announcement. The United States has deployed fleets to the Persian Gulf in the past. Iran feels the US intimidates them so they will intimidate us. It is not that easy. I don't believe they can handle the logistics unless Russia helps them.

State-run Press TV, citing IRNA, said the announcement came as Iran also plans to send its 16th fleet of warships to the Gulf of Aden to protect Iranian vessels and oil tankers from pirates, who have hijacked dozens of ships and exchanged their crews for ransom.

The Islamic Republic has repeatedly assured that its military might poses no threat to other countries, stating that Tehran's defense doctrine is based only on deterrence, Press TV reported in a story in July about the deployment of submarines to international waters. What are we supposed to think?

I have to laugh! After many conversations I remember 10 years ago Bush attacked Iraq to get in the middle east with only one goal being getting into a war with Iran. After many attempts by the US and the IRG in Iraq, the Gulf and on Iraq and Iran's border both sides failed to instigate the war.

With the US now having an excuse to further tighten sanctions on Iran with them calling what may be a facade involving Mexican drug dealers in a failed execution attempt on the Saudi Ambassador we are now furthering the Saudi Iranian proxy war in the middle east.

We also in declaring this an act of war have the excuse to go after Iran's warships if they are lucky and foolish enough to get them off our coast. Again I say one way or the other at the very least war with Iran is coming. I only hope we can keep it from escalating into WW3.

In pictures: Wall Street austerity and economic protests go global:

In pictures: Worldwide protests

Wall Street sit-in protest goes global: Protesters worldwide geared up for a cry of rage on Saturday against bankers, financiers and politicians they accuse of ruining global economies and condemning millions to poverty and hardship through greed.
Galvanized by the past month's Occupy Wall Street movement, the global protest began on a sunny spring day in New Zealand and is due to ripple round the world to Alaska via Frankfurt, London, Washington and New York.

Many Europeans spent Saturday showing solidarity with the Occupy Wall Street movement in New York, by answering the call for a day of protests against economic injustice and government cuts. In the European Union’s capital Brussels, around 7,000 people demonstrated against austerity measures and corporate greed. Some of them were outside a branch of Dexia, the Belgian-French financial institution that recently received a four billion euro bailout.

Protesters also gathered in Madrid’s Puerta del Sol plaza, a site significant for Spain’s Indignados, whose aims were also being supported through worldwide protests on Saturday. At the height of the Indignado campaign, the plaza was a campsite for demonstrators calling for the government to deal with unemployment and stop welfare cuts.

What is happening in Europe and the Arab spring countries will happen here.

As Scorn for Government Grows, Protests Surge even in the United States and this is just beginning. Our future is bleak

As Scorn for Vote Grows, Protests Surge: Hundreds of thousands of disillusioned Indians cheer a rural activist on a hunger strike. Israel reels before the largest street demonstrations in its history. Enraged young people in Spain and Greece take over public squares across their countries. Their complaints range from corruption to lack of affordable housing and joblessness, common grievances the world over. But from South Asia to the heartland of Europe and now even to Wall Street, these protesters share something else: wariness, even contempt, toward traditional politicians and the democratic political process they preside over.

The United States is not exempt either. As our situation degrades and millions more suffer the demise of a failing society more and more average Americans will start coming out in protest. The US military has trained to deal with domestic anarchism and we have the facilities in the FEMA concentration camps

‘Occupy Wall Street’ Protests Turn Violent; Video Shows Police Macing Women

Turkey to press ahead with sanctions against Syria: In the absence of UN security council action, Turkey's move could be decisive in a six-month standoff between Syrian security forces and anti-government activists which has seen more than 2,700 civilian deaths and sharply destabilized the region. Erdogan is preparing for a range of economic, military and political sanctions which will further damage the once-close relationship between the two states.

Men-Only Election Shows Limits of Saudi Reply to Arab Spring: Saudi Arabia excluded most adult citizens from today’s municipal elections, betting that a limited ballot coupled with $130 billion of extra spending will be enough to halt Arab unrest at the kingdom’s borders.
Women weren’t entitled to stand as candidates or cast votes in the ballot, which closed at 5 p.m. local time, and the councilors chosen by Saudi men age 21 and over who aren’t in the military will enjoy few powers. Still, the fact that the ballot took place is an advance from two years ago, when the election was first due and King Abdullah postponed it.

Bahrain Sentences Medical Workers for Treating Protesters: A security court in the Gulf state of Bahrain has sentenced 20 doctors and medics to long jail sentences for treating wounded demonstrators during unrest earlier this year. The court sentence is expected to further enrage the kingdom's restive Shiite majority, which has been protesting the rule of the country's minority Sunni leadership.

Following the way the Shiite majority is stepped on by the Sunni minority was a striking parallel to the way the Republican minority pushes around the Democratic minority here in the US. No wonder the Republicans have remained silent over what has been going on in Bahrain.

* I was listening to one of the organizers of the Wall Street protests saying this is our Arab spring, we the average citizens of every country regardless of ethnicity are fighting for the same thing. We are all fighting because we are being lied to , controlled, we have no jobs, no food, we have no future. In Yemen, Syria, and Bahrain they are being stepped on and killed.

Israel backs 1,600 settler homes with 2700 more to come: Enough is enough!

Palestinians to Seek Statehood Approval in September, Abbas Says To show Israel does not want a viable 2 State solution they try to beat the gun and make things worse, I am sick of this!

Israel backs 1,600 settler homes with 2700 more to come: Enough is enough! Israel will never stop building and they will never share Jerusalem. Israel will never agree to share Jerusalem period and will resort to war period, especially knowing the US will come to their rescue and it bothers me. This is really getting old!

Final approval has been given for the building of 1,600 settler homes in occupied East Jerusalem by the Israeli interior ministry. The ministry is expected to approve the building of a further 2,700 homes, an official has said.

I am sick of this crap. Israel does not want a two State solution, to share Palestine, or a two State solution. Israel is moving rapidly to beat Palestine's intentions to appeal to the UN for Statehood. I am sick of Israel's demonic behavior.

Bashar Assad is right, sanctions against him and Syria are to help Israel. I now have to wonder why we are really backing all these middle east and African nations in their bids for Democracy. I now wonder who all our sanctions really benefit. yes hopefully they help those fighting for their freedom. Yes hopefully sanctions benefit us as we attempt to create an environment beneficial in coaxing current dictators to allow their citizens to have their Democracy. However I now think bottom line is to create good neighbors for Israel who must live with their Arab neighbors. It is the Persian Iran I worry about the most.

I thought that was another great speech Obama gave on expectations for the middle east but speaking about Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Bahrain, Syria, Israel Hamas, and Palestine it was all about Israel. I was impressed when He came out and said Israel must go back to the 1967 borders which I do not believe they will ever do but he is the first US President to take the right stance.

We, the US Britain and Europe especially are as guilty as Israel for not insisting Israel adhere to UN Resolution 181<>/a>

Anyway our President's have been shoring up the dictators in the middle east as long as they do our bidding for a century. President Obama is the first one to come out and back the people not the dictators regardless of his motive. Bush started this middle east democratization and failed because he tried it by force. Obama will succeed because he is letting the people who want it take charge.

Bush failed to capture or kill Bin Laden because he was focused on Iraq, Iran, and creating a new middle east order for Israel. Obama focused on Bin Laden and got him while the people in Africa and the middle east worked on democratizing the middle east as they want it not us and that is the key. I have to be concerned about Iran because they are not and will not sit still for this.

In closing it is time to put this entire package called a new middle east "dis"order together and I believe Obama is the only US President who can do it. He must be reelected to work on it and he will be. The one feat that will elude him and the rest of the world that wants to see it happen is the implementation of a two state solution between Palestine and Israel.

I do however see peace between those in the Arab spring and Israel as Democracy and getting along is their goal not Sharia law or Muslim Supremacy. Islamists are trying to keep Bin Laden's message alive but to those in the Arab spring the message died with Bin Laden. On one side I am worried about Iran but on the other I am very worried about Israel the "righteous" war mongers. The only solution is to wash our hands of Israel and we can't do that with Iran there so we will be dragged into another fight.

U.S.and allies tell Assad that he must abdicate: Absolutely worthless as the sides are drawn for future middle east war

US says Syria's Assad must go, orders new sanctions: The U.S. sanctions and demand for Assad's exit were followed by a call from Britain, France and Germany -- three of the European Union's leading powers for Assad to go as well as growing condemnation of the Syrian leader, including from influential Arab nations such as Saudi Arabia.

What the hell good is that? It is worthless! We saw what it is worth against Libyan leader Moamar Gaddafi. Even Turkey and Egypt have spoken up telling Bashar Al Assad to stop the carnage. The sides are being drawn and Iran is happy to finally get this middle east breakdown going full swing.

Syria Said to Fire on Protests in Defiance of Global Rebuke: At least 16 people were reported killed including some soldiers who disobeyed orders to shoot at protesters.

That is all working well huh? For Iran and Syria anyway! Syrian forces have attacked a number of north-western towns and villages as part of a military effort to crush protests, activists say. They say tanks and armored vehicles entered Taftanaz, Sermin, and Binnish near the Turkish border on Wednesday.

Syrian forces attack town of Qusair near Lebanon: Syrian forces killed at least five civilians when they stormed a town near the border with Lebanon on Thursday, activists and a rights group said, in an escalating military campaign to crush dissent against President Bashar al-Assad across the country.

Syrian tanks fanned out across a neighborhood in the coastal city of Latakia on Saturday amid intense shooting that sent many resident fleeing to safer areas, a human rights group said. Rami Abdul-Rahman, head of the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said 20 tanks and armored personnel carriers deployed around the al-Ramel neighborhood in Latakia as the shooting erupted in the morning.

Gunfire in Syrian coastal city; 35 dead in 4AP - Heavy machine-gun fire erupted across the besieged Syrian city of Latakia on Tuesday as the death toll rose to 35 from a military assault now in its fourth day, residents and activists said.

Syrian troops roll into Saraqib: Syrian troops rolled into the northwestern city of Saraqib early Thursday morning, just hours after evening prayers there called for an end to President Bashar al-Assad's reign, an opposition group said. The west and its Middle East allies say they have had enough and the slaughter must stop or else. Or else what? Iran and Syria are calling us out!

Syrian 'warships shell port of Latakia':At least 19 people have been killed and 15 injured after Syrian warships and tanks opened fire on the port city of Latakia in two residential districts, activists have said. Sunday's deaths were reported as a military assault on Latakia extended into a second day. On Saturday, at least five people were killed and several were injured as at least 20 tanks and armoured personnel carriers rolled into the city.In Damascus, activists reported a siege on Sa'aba, east of the capital, on Sunday, in an attempt to prevent funeral processions for two people who were killed on Saturday night.

Iran is not going to allow Syria to fall to Democracy,Iran is in Syria helping Bashar Assad and they do not want us interfering. What we saw after the voter fraud in Iran was mild compared to what the IRG will do if this movement spreads to Iran. I really wish Bashar would step down but Iran is the elephant in the room any way you look at it. The total Middle East breakdown we have written about numerous times is well under way. We can only hope we keep it from erupting into WW3.

Syria increasingly isolated as ambassadors leave setting up proxy war between the west and its allies and Iran and Syria

Turkey to press Syria to end bloodshed: The Syrian regime is facing a chorus of global reproach as envoys from Turkey, India, Brazil and South Africa head to Damascus to press President Bashar al-Assad to end the violent crackdown on a five-month-old uprising.

Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah demanded an end to the bloodshed in Syria on Monday and recalled his country's ambassador from Damascus, in a rare case of one of the Arab world's most powerful leaders intervening against another: The Saudi statement came with all the weight of the king's personal authority, and follows similar statements since Saturday from the Arab League and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Bahrain and Kuwait of course backed their Saudi ally and also came out against the Shiite minority suppressing and murdering the Sunni majority. I wonder how long Al Qaeda is going to let this go on and they are already speaking out.

Iran and Syria seem to be welcoming this response as they are also influencing the Shiite leadership in Iraq and eager to impress their version of a new Middle East order which Bush set in motion by attacking Iraq and freeing especially Iran to pursue.

Another Proxy war is going on and is setting up this one between the west and their Middle East allies and Syria and Iran.

Syria pursues army offensive despite Turkey, the west, and their middle east counterparts: Syrian forces killed at least five civilians and moved into a town near the Turkish border on Tuesday, activists and witnesses said, even as Turkey's foreign minister pressed President Bashar al-Assad to halt assaults on protests against his rule.

Obama Backs Deal between Israel and Palestine Based on 1967 Lines, Netanyahu cries foul

Syria: Assad regime denounces sanctions, says they serve Israel, Obama's speech proves Arab spring and everything in the middle east is about Israel

Troops deploy in Syrian village: Syrian troops backed by tanks deployed in a border village on Thursday, witnesses said, ignoring growing pressure from Washington, which imposed sanctions on President Bashar al-Assad for rights abuses. From the Lebanese village of Boqaya, Syrian soldiers could be seen across the border deploying ...

SYRIA: Assad regime denounces sanctions, says they serve Israel

Obama addressed the Arab spring and what he and Bashar Assad said put everything from Bush's attack on Iraq to get into the middle eat to democratize as many countries as he could and create a buffer zone for Israel into perspective. You know I am a big picture guy! You have to look at the full picture not just a snapshot.

Assad is right, sanctions against him and Syria are to help Israel. I now have to wonder why we are really backing all these middle east and African nations in their bids for Democracy. Still in its infancy: The new middle east disorder and we're right in the middle of it

UN chief slams Syria's crackdown on protests
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has described Syria's harsh crackdown on protests and use of deadly force against demonstrators as "unacceptable".
Middle East unrest: Syria arrests Damascus protesters

Protests broke out in four Syrian cities on Friday, the first large-scale demonstrations here since the pro-democracy uprisings began in the Arab world three months ago. In Syria, Crackdown After Protests Wow Syria, what does that mean for Iran?

Thousands of mourners called Saturday for "revolution" at the funeral of protesters killed by Syrian security forces, the boldest challenge to Syria's rulers since uprisings began sweeping the Arab world.

Tribes warn of violence if Syrian regime does not withdraw troops The demonstrations were the latest of a growing number in the past three days, as the uprisings and unrest that spread from Tunisia to Egypt to Bahrian and Libya appear to have reached Syria, one of the most tightly controlled societies in the Middle East. They want the tanks removed and over flights stopped. This is really spreading and could be good if we play our cards right.

Saudi Arabia's decision to send troops into Bahrain to help stabilize the country following violent anti-government demonstrations marks another stage in Riyadh's reluctant emergence as a regional policeman at a time when the Arab world faces unprecedented turmoil and even armed rebellion. Iran Calls Saudi Troop Presence in Bahrain 'Unacceptable'

There is no surprise here but remember the big picture! By getting rid of Saddam we freed Iran up to instigate for the Shiite version of a new middle east order. The Iran evolutionary Guard has been instigating, arming, and training in Yemen for years amongst other countries. In Bahrain the Shiite minority majority is rebelling against the Sunni minority majority. You don't think Iran is instigating them? Of course Saudi Arabia is came to the rescue of the Sunni minority leadership.
I have to remind you of something we have been discussing for years now as it is coming out in the open as the Iranian Saudi Arabian neo cold war is coming out in the open.

We know that at least up to now we have been giving Billions upon Billions in advanced arms and weaponry to Saudi Arabia and our other Arab allies to fight Iran. We also know the Iranian Saudi Arabian neo cold war has been going on for years. We are the ones who went into the Middle East to change Middle East order per Bush and God which was asinine.

Could this confrontation erupt in war between Iran and at the least US armed Saudi Arabia? Iran is warning and threatening retribution but they are supplying the Yemeni Rebels who pushed into Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia has fired well over a hundred missiles from their fighter jets as they pummel their hideouts.

You can not blame them but I had no idea the dissention goes all the way back to the naming of the Gulf. Saudi’s know it as the Gulf of Arabia and I can remember that but Iran calls it the Persian Gulf as the rest of us seem to at least until now.

Both Iran and Saudi Arabia have been using Lebanon as their battlefront up to now able to avoid direct confrontation. Iran has pumped millions of dollars in supplies and arms much to the consternation of her suffering people while Saudi Arabia has been supporting the Palestinian Authority.

So far there has been no direct confrontation. However I absolutely see what I have been warning about since Bush diverted from Afghanistan to attack Iraq and get back in the middle east to create a new middle east (dis)order! I do not give a damn what anyone says. Bush Chaney and their Democratization program in an already historically unstable middle east set all of this and more in motion!

Clinton Says Libya Options Include Drones and Arming Rebels, no fly zone, attack Gaddafi forces, sounds like another war to me
Clinton Says Libya Options Include Drones and Arming Rebels The French have 20 planes there and have already engaged. The Canadian planes are on their way to Italy and Navy assets are on their way to Libya to neutralize Gaddafi's Navy. UN approves no-fly zone over Libya; raids may begin Friday

Saudi Arabia is helping Bahrain brutally put down the Shiite minority that Iran says she might arm. I tend to believe the middle east break down Sunni against Shiite is well under way. Bahraini Shiites bury their dead from crackdown

Yemeni Protesters Under Heavy Fire, 29 dead

In closing: Bush's intention in attacking Iraq was to get our military back in the Middle East to help Israel establish a safety zone, create a new middle east (dis)order as God told him to, and to establish a permanent middle east presence. I was very concerned that this entire mess in the middle east would take on a life of its own We freed Iran up to instigate for their new order by eliminating Saddam who kept them contained.

The middle east is exploding as we long said it would and anti Israeli anti US forces are trying to use it to their advantage. Israel is nervous as they should be with all their hedging at a real 2 state solution. Across the Arab world, people living under the thumb of repressive leaders are rising up against the rulers who once seemed omnipotent. It is no coincidence these were all American allies! They are not quite sure what they want. But from North Africa to the Arabian Peninsula, they know they want change. And their wrath and their courage are creating a new form of Arab unity.

The goal since we went back into the Middle East has been to see whose version of a new middle east order will prevail. I have faith it will not be Persian Iran's version and not ours but rather a free and Democratic Arabian version whatever shape that may take.

* The hell on earth Bush created for Iraqi’s will engulf the entire Middle East before it encompasses the entire world if we can not contain it. Under Bush we broke a long standing tradition of not adding fuel to the Middle East fire by supplying weapons. We are now, including advanced weaponry and missile defense systems. The Middle East breakdown Bush started armed and funded is continuing under Obama. This up to now proxy war in the middle east is under way. Wait, watch, and listen, this is not good for the world and our future!

The entire middle east is going to erupt Sunni against Shiite and don't forget Israel and the Kurds and we are going to be right in the middle of it!
