Iran is getting desperate: Battleships off our coast now assassination attempts in Washington DC

Iran has had a proxy war with Saudi Arabia in Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Bahrain, indeed in the whole of the Middle East looking to control which way the new middle east order takes.

Our friends Iran's IRG "Iranian Revolutionary Guard" is the most militant of Iran's militant wings "Iran's seal team 6" They are on the cusp of Iran's instigation around the Middle East and now it appears the world. Wanting to put battleships off our coast now an assassination attempt on Saudi Arabia's Ambassador in Washington DC

Senior U.S. official: Plot to kill Saudi ambassador thwarted: U.S. agents have disrupted an Iranian "murder-for-hire" scheme targeting Saudi Arabia's ambassador to the United States, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said Tuesday.Holder said the alleged plan was directed by elements of the Iranian government. A naturalized U.S. citizen holding Iranian and U.S. passports and a member of Iran's revolutionary guard were involved, the FBI said in a statement."The U.S. is committed to holding Iran accountable," Holder said.

I almost want to laugh! Why don't they try to rob Fort Knox? Anyway this is not funny, I remember years ago when Iran said they had thousands of sleeper cells already in the country waiting to be activated. We arrested the Iranian, US citizen but the other member supposedly from the Qods force part of the IRG is in "another country"

As you know, the IRGC was set up to protect the ruling authority after 1979 and are supposed to be controlled By Ayatollah Khamenei authority. I know Ahmadinejad and 2/3 of his first 21 member cabinet were ex IRGC members and that simply reinforces that I am increasingly led to think the IRGC has become the final authority not the Supreme leader.

The Supreme leader is appearing as a puppet needed to keep the religious leaders together and to make it appear that they are still in charge. They have become a major force capable of taking control of Iran and I am afraid nothing less than that is what has happened.

Not only has the IRGC perpetrated the horror and brutality we all witnessed in and out of jail during the protests after the stolen election to keep Ahmadinejad and the IRG in power and lord knows the horror we will never know about but to add insult to injury The IRGC is in control of furthering Shiite demands around the Middle East!

You know by now what they are doing in Yemen, Iraq, Syria and everywhere they can in the Middle East. I now believe Khamenei is unknowingly enforcing a lie and Ahmadinejad and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard are pulling the strings.!

Iran to send ships near U.S. waters: Iran plans to send ships near the Atlantic coast of the United States, state-run Islamic Republic News Agency reported T, quoting a commander. "The Navy of the Iranian Army will have a powerful presence near the United States borders," read the headline of the story, in Farsi. "Commander of the Navy of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran broke the news about the plans for the presence of this force in the Atlantic Ocean and said that the same way that the world arrogant power is present near our marine borders, we, with the help of our sailors who follow the concept of the supreme jurisprudence

Why do I want to laugh? I thought Iran was running out of food, water, oil, and money and only partly because of sanctions imposed by the west? State-run Press TV said Sayari had announced similar plans in July. In February, two Iranian Navy ships traversed the Suez Canal in the first such voyages by Iranian ships since 1979.

U.S. Defense Department officials had no immediate reaction to the announcement. The United States has deployed fleets to the Persian Gulf in the past. Iran feels the US intimidates them so they will intimidate us. It is not that easy. I don't believe they can handle the logistics unless Russia helps them.

State-run Press TV, citing IRNA, said the announcement came as Iran also plans to send its 16th fleet of warships to the Gulf of Aden to protect Iranian vessels and oil tankers from pirates, who have hijacked dozens of ships and exchanged their crews for ransom.

The Islamic Republic has repeatedly assured that its military might poses no threat to other countries, stating that Tehran's defense doctrine is based only on deterrence, Press TV reported in a story in July about the deployment of submarines to international waters. What are we supposed to think?

I have to laugh! After many conversations I remember 10 years ago Bush attacked Iraq to get in the middle east with only one goal being getting into a war with Iran. After many attempts by the US and the IRG in Iraq, the Gulf and on Iraq and Iran's border both sides failed to instigate the war.

With the US now having an excuse to further tighten sanctions on Iran with them calling what may be a facade involving Mexican drug dealers in a failed execution attempt on the Saudi Ambassador we are now furthering the Saudi Iranian proxy war in the middle east.

We also in declaring this an act of war have the excuse to go after Iran's warships if they are lucky and foolish enough to get them off our coast. Again I say one way or the other at the very least war with Iran is coming. I only hope we can keep it from escalating into WW3.

US blamed for anger over Iran's election now for killing Iranian Revolutionary Guard the killers of the people!

This guy is right on: Suicide bombing targeted commanders of Irans "elite" Revolutionary Guard. Love it!

Iran defiant as three more given death penalty over election protests Iran still insists on Killing the children of the 1979 Revolution who are angry over the stolen election that was enforced by the Revolutionary Guard and the Basiji killers!

Revolutionary Guard under attack, Great! Jundallah takes responsibility but Iran assigns responsibility to the US. As you know, we also got responsibility because the protesters were and still are furious over the election being stolen! 5 IRG commanders killed along with some 238 others and an estimated 40 injured!in their perverse way in order to justify crushing all opposition Iran is blaming this too on the US!

Iranian official blames deadly bombing on 'US actions'

Just a recap: With the horror unleashed by the IRG and Basij and calls for death to opposition leaders by their General a Q & A on the IRG and the Basij is a must read! There is a question and answer session below that you will want to look at. The more I learn about The IRGC and the Basij the larger and more powerful they get. I am convinced they are now in control period and this will continue to devolve!

Iran's Revolutionary Guard set up to protect the ruling authority after 1979 and are supposed to be controlled By Ayatollah Khamenei who is supposed to be the final authority. I know Ahmadinejad and 2/3 of his first 21 member cabinet are ex IRGC members and that simply reinforces that I am increasingly led to think the IRGC has become the final authority not the Supreme leader.

The Supreme leader is appearing as a puppet needed to keep the religious leaders together and to make it appear that they are still in charge. I know I am not Iranian but I was stunned to find the thugs in the IRGC and the Basij number in the millions. General Yadollah Javani, director of the IRGC's political arm says his thugs we all saw in action beating and killing protesters prevented an attempt to overthrow Islamic rule.

From what I can see Kharroubi, Moussavi, and Khatami want a return to the peoples will and Islamic rule and the IRGC who is now in charge is preventing that at all costs. The IRG has a very strong Political arm. The IRGC also conducts popular military training, they operate a domestic media apparatus and run education programs or should we say brain washing programs to constantly increase their numbers.

Since the 1979 Revolution they have also become a major contractor with ties to firms controlling billions of dollars in business, construction, finance and commerce and are a major contractor, with ties to firms controlling billions of dollars in business, construction, finance and commerce. The IRGC is thought to be factionalized as standouts such as ex IRGC officer Ali Larijani being critics of Ahmadinejad but I certainly do not think so. They have become a major force capable of taking control of Iran and I am afraid nothing less than that is what has happened.

Not only has the IRGC perpetrated the horror and brutality we have all witnessed in and out of jail and lord knows the horror we will never know about but to add insult to injury Brigadier General Yadollah Javani a senior official with Iran's increasingly powerful Revolutionary Guard is calling for the prosecution of two key opposition leaders and a former president, accusing them of fanning the protests that have gripped the nation since its disputed presidential election two months ago.

Opposition leaders Mir Hossein Moussavi and Mehdi Karroubi, along with former reformist President Mohammad Khatami, he says should be tried for attempting to lead a Western-backed revolution that aimed to topple the regime. I am sick of hearing that crap. That was not western backed though I am sure they and us have been cheering this on. Those people merely want their true people led Republic back not the IRGC controlled Islamist Republic of Iran.

He wants the judiciary to go after them, arrest them, put them on trial and punish them according to the law. Do you know what that will do to the unrest in Iran? it will blow big time and you have to think that is what Javani wants. Then he will be able to get all this out in the open and have his millions of thugs put this to rest once and for all but I don't like what I see happening.

Javani heads the Guard's political bureau. The Guard, which was initially created to protect the leaders of the revolution, is under the direct control of Iran's supreme leader and enforces the governments' Islamic codes and morality supposedly but I believe they are actually in control. Q & A on Iran's Revolutionary Guard and the Basij militia

At this point I have to hope Jundallah, the Soldier's of God partner with the Protesters! Like it or not Ahmadinejad and the IRGC are not going to relent, will continue their persecution of all opposition and will continue to blame it all on outside instigation mainly Britain and the US and not their corruption so they can maintain control over Iran and her Democracy minded people. Like it or not when all is said and done all opposition forces are going to have to unite and take on the IRGC, Ahmadinejad, and the current corrupt Dictatorial regime. Good luck with that people!

Iran: Britain Attacked their Embassy in Basra, Just latest attempt to get Britain to Alienate the U.S. in Iraq!

Iran saying Britain attacked their Embassy in Basra just latest attempt to get Britain to Alienate the U.S. in Iraq, It all makes sense now!
Knowing that over a year ago Iran was demanding that Britain get out of Basra. http://www.boston.com/...
An awful lot in regards to recent events just made instant sense to me and it is not good for Britain the U.S. or for Iran knowing the west will not bow to this but will eventually react!
Anyway, we have been hearing numerous conflicting stories as to who is trying to snow who in regard to the 15 captured British marines. I happen to believe that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard are the instigators but I couldn't figure out why! After hearing these conflicting reports in regard to Iran's Embassy in Basra it all started making sense and why go after the British!
I was first sent this report from someone who believes Britain and the U.S. are monsters. and didn't believe it but didn't understand what was going on. British forces were surrounding the Iranian consulate in Basra, Al Arabiya reported on Thursday, according to an Israel Radio citation. The forces were trying to exert pressure on Iran to release the 15 British soldiers being held captive. http://www.jpost.com/...
Maybe I am biased and I do believe Blaire has made a mistake blindly following Bush but I refused to believe they were this stupid. The following report made the truth clear to me.
At a critical period in the crisis over Iran's seizure of 15 British sailors and marines, the Iranian consul in Basra charged that British soldiers on Thursday had surrounded his office in the southern city and fired shots into the air. Britain denied the allegation.
The Ministry of Defense in London said the shooting was an exchange of gunfire after British troops on a foot patrol near the Iranian consulate were ambushed. But Iranian Consul-General Mohammed Ridha Nasir Baghban said British forces had engaged in a "provocative act" that "could worsen the situation of the British sailors."
"British forces should rely on wisdom and not react because of the British forces' detention. This reflects negatively on bilateral relations," Baghban told The Associated Press in a telephone interview. Baghban claimed British forces surrounded the consulate about 10:00 a.m. and fired randomly into the air. http://www.iht.com/...
It dawned on me after watching the exchange between Britain and Iran over the last week that the ultimate goal here is to keep those British troops in the hopes of getting Britain to alienate the U.S. and leave Iraq thereby leaving the U.S. to fight the mess in Iraq on its own but you know it will fail.
I understand there are many that say Iran does not want to fight the West but I firmly believe the Revolutionary Guard does and they are the ones behind the recent events in the Gulf.
There will be no deal here and neither side will relent. Nor do I think Britain should because it would only embolden Iran. This will only serve to get this war with Iran going!

British Marines still incommunicado in Iran, Blair promises a different phase as U.S. shows force in Gulf!

British Marines still incommunicado in Iran, Blair promises a different phase as U.S. shows massive force in Gulf! Does that help?
Looking at the recent confrontations with Iran on Iraq's land and water border with Iran and evaluating both instances I have come to the conclusion that Iran's Revolutionary Guard whose business it is to protect and defend The Islamic Revolution is instigating conflict with Britain and the U.S. http://www.dailykos.com/...
I understand that the captured Marine's will now be allowed contact with Embassy Officials but their location is not yet known and nothing has been resolved yet. I also understand that Tony Blair has vowed that Britain is prepared to move to a "different phase" if negotiations fail to free those held captive.
Asked what that meant, Blair said: "Well, we will just have to see, but what they should understand is that we cannot have a situation where our servicemen and women are seized when actually they are in Iraqi waters under a U.N. mandate, patrolling perfectly rightly and in accordance with that mandate, and then effectively captured and taken to Iran." British authorities we are told are confident that they have evidence to prove their insistence that the Royal Navy personnel never left Iraqi waters," and His office did say though that officials may have to make public evidence proving the Britons were seized in Iraqi -- not Iranian -- waters, if there is no swift release of the sailors. http://www.cnn.com/...
I just don't get it! If the Brits have evidence that proves the British were captured while in Iraqi or international waters then why are they not putting it out in the public? they say they want to resolve this quickly but seem to be allowing it to drag on. It is no coincidence that this has now gone on for four days and meanwhile the U.S. is putting a massive show of maritime and air force in the Gulf. The U.S. Navy on Tuesday began its largest demonstration of force in the Gulf since the 2003 invasion of Iraq, deploying two aircraft carriers and conducting simulated aerial attacks.
The maneuvers, involving 15 U.S. warships and more than a hundred planes, were certain to increase tension with Iran, which has frequently condemned the U.S. military presence off its coastline. According to navy Lieutenant John Perkins these maneuvers are only to demonstrate our flexibility and our capability to respond to threats to Maritime security and that we can keep the maritime environment safe and the vital link to the global economy open.
This supposedly was planned before the Revolutionary Guard incident but the Lieutenant declined to say when. So what does that tell you? We now have 2 carrier strike groups in the Gulf. Each carrier hosts an air wing of F/A-18 Hornet and Superhornet fighter-bombers, EA-6B Prowler electronic warfare aircraft, S-3 Viking antisubmarine and refuelers, and E-2C Hawkeye airborne command-and-control craft.
Also taking part were guided-missile destroyers USS Anzio, USS Ramage, USS O'Kane, USS Mason, USS Preble and USS Nitze; and minesweepers USS Scout, USS Gladiator and USS Ardent. Plus A French naval strike group, led by the aircraft carrier Charles DE Gaulle, was operating simultaneously just outside the Gulf but not participating in the exercise. http://www.cnn.com/...
With all this sea and air power concentrated in one small area it is just the perfect recipe for confrontation. No wonder we are beginning to collide. What else could be the expected outcome? Whose cause does this U.S. Naval exercise serve anyway, ours or Iran's? Both sides of this threatening conflict appear to be doing their damnedest to get this war going. There does not appear to be any way of stopping this desired war between Iran's Revolutionary Guard and Bush and his interests. Someone please tell me if I am wrong!
