Weapons Sales to Iraq Move Ahead Despite US Worries: The Obama administration is moving ahead with the sale of nearly $11 billion worth of arms and training for the Iraqi military despite concerns that Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki is seeking to consolidate authority, create a one-party Shiite-dominated state and abandon the American-backed power-sharing government.

The military aid, including advanced fighter jets and battle tanks, is meant to help the Iraqi government protect its borders and rebuild a military that before the 1991 Persian Gulf war was one of the largest in the world; it was disbanded in 2003 after the United States invasion. I have to reiterate something I have said too many times since Bush chose to ignore all warnings of total civil war spreading throughout the entire Middle East so he could attack Iraq and straighten out the Middle East as God spoke to him and instructed him to. You know I firmly believe and have said so a million times by now that since 9/11 everything was construed to allow Bush to gain the power he needed to prosecute his new order not just in the Middle East but on the entire world! He diverted from Afghanistan to get back into the Middle East with the goal of setting up a larger safety zone for Israel and going after Iran.

Bush has created a hell on earth for Iraq that he calls liberty and success with promises to spread it throughout the entire Middle East. He has long wanted a Korea style force in Iraq to secure the peace! We were concerned because we knew that would never work in Iraq or the Middle East! Planting our military in the middle of the mess Bush has created out of the Middle East because of his failed Democratization program would be a Custer's Last Stand on a grand scale!

I still see a total civil war Sunni against Shiite erupting in the Middle East because Bush freed up Iran to instigate it on their end and they are. I still am concerned we will have a permanent presence in the Middle East but feel we will have to largely leave Iraq to her own demise. We will still be there but it looks like Yemen, and the Gulf of Aden will be the prime focus unless Iran gets something going between the US and Iran.

As you know, I talk about it often as I watch Bush's new Middle East (dis)order progress. He ignored Afghanistan so he could use the patriot acts powers to divert from Afghanistan to attack Iraq using the excuse of unseating Saddam so he could get in the Middle East to help Israel establish a buffer zone and establish a new middle east (dis) order or so Israel and Cheney thought. Bush at Cheney's urging made an abrupt shift in policy towards Syria, a shift that has now brought the entire Mideast region to the brink of war and chaos. That plan was put together in 1996 for Israel. They were just waiting for an idiot to come along so they could implement their plan for the Middle East. He said Israel is a "cancerous tumor that should be cut and will be cut". Iran has been repeatedly defiant to hints that the US and Israel may at some point launch military strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.

Helping Israel is the reason Bush attacked Iraq in order to unseat Saddam Hussein. In doing so he freed up Iran to instigate for her supremacy and version of new middle east "dis"order. The idea was to first help create a buffer zone of Israel friendly countries and then find a way to get into a war with Iran.If you think back and remember the numerous Border incidents on the Iraq Iran border and the incidents in the gulf between the IRG and the United States and Britain all failing to find a way to instigate the desired war but it is coming closer all day every day.

War with  Iran is a given. Going after Iran was only one of our original reasons for attacking Iraq to get back into the middle east under the supposed auspice of helping Israel set up a security buffer.

They want to know who killed Yasser Arafat with Polonium? We did! Anyway before Bush went after Iraq he had designs on Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt when all is said and done. We are all observing age old hatreds play out and Sunni against Shiite, Persian against Arab hate is only serving to make a already volatile region and situation worse.

What about the Kurds who want their autonomy and they do not want to share their oil fields period. Nuri Al-Maliki wants that issue resolved and it will never be. The entire middle east and north Africa and our more than century of interference and exploitation can take the blame for that too. This is going to happen even under a President Obama. Watch out Iran, watch out world, watch out America!

As you know, in the middle of the Iraq breakdown and the ensuing emboldenment of Iran to take over the new middle east direction, we had what most naively called the Arab spring. This is not a spring it is a fall. The question is now being asked if Egypt will follow Iraq. Of course it will and is by design. If you have not please read "A clean break" up above.

The entire middle east will follow Iraq and it was known before Bush made his decision to attack Iraq and unsettle the already frail middle east order. At this point we should step back and let the middle east work out its horrible growing pains by itself but as usual we will not. Whatever we do at this point it will be the wrong thing by someone.

We should cut off the money permanently, (1.3 billion annually) that we give Egypt as like it or not in deposing the Democratically elected Morsi and the Brotherhood we have gone against our own principles. We must leave Egypt too her own demise. They were stupid enough to vote in an Islamist. What the hell were they thinking? Of course they would try to take over the entire Government.

The devolution of the middle east is just beginning. We must step back and watch like it or not. Let another so called super power step in and get in over their ears because they will. At this point the key here is to keep this local to the middle east. We must at all costs keep it from turning into WW3 but I would not bet on it.

/  Iraqi Kurds To Vote On Independence:  President of Iraq's Kurdish region, already largely autonomous, says the country is already partitioned.The partition of Iraq lurched closer to reality on Tuesday when the head of the country’s already quasi-autonomous Kurdish region publicly declared he would schedule a referendum on independence. Polls and previous votes indicate that the measure is certain to pass, leading, in all likelihood, to an independent Kurdistan on the northern and northeastern borders of Iraq.

 “From now on, we won’t hide that that’s our goal,” Massoud Barzani, president of the Regional Kurdistan Government, told the BBC in an interview. “Iraq is effectively partitioned now. Are we supposed to stay in this tragic situation the country’s living? It’s not me who will decide on independence. It’s the people.”

   Kurds seize disputed oil hub amid Iraq chaos:   As al-Qaida-inspired militants advanced across northern Iraq and security forces melted away, Kurdish fighters who have long dominated Kirkuk ordered Iraqi troops out and seized full control of the regional oil hub and surrounding areas, "They said they would defend Kirkuk from the Islamic State," said the Arab officer, who oversaw a warehouse in the city's central military base.

  He asked that his rank not be made public.A lawmaker from Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki's Shiite-led bloc condemned the peshmerga's move, calling it a "plot" carried out in coordination with the regional government that would "lead to problems." "The Kurds have taken advantage of the current situation. They seized Kirkuk and they have other plans to swallow other areas," Mohammed Sadoun told The Associated Press.  Kurds have long wanted to incorporate it into their self-ruled region, but Arabs and Turkmen are opposed

A free Kurdistan will not be denied now whether it is in Iraq or also part of Turkey .

Remember, the Kurds want their oil and their freedom. That is only one small fact Bush ignored to attack Iraq so he could help Israel and instigate war with Iran.

Remember, the Kurds are Sunni and al-Maliki Shiite. Al- Maliki and Iran see Hashimi and the Kurds as a threat to their dominance in the new middle east order. The Kurds wanting a free Kurdistan are now a people without a country"

A substantial number of Kurds live in Iran, which is as close to a mortal enemy of the United States as there is in the world today. American support for reclaiming those colonial possessions of Tehran and the incorporation of those lands into Kurdistan would roughly double the area of the Iraqi Kurds.

A significant, but smaller, number of Kurds live in Syria, an enemy of America and was a supporter both of the Iraqi insurgency and of international terrorism. There is little doubt that it would become an affluent nation as capable of defending itself as Israel is today, and that along with the establishment of a truly free and democratic Lebanon, would create three strong, free and prosperous democracies which would naturally become allies or at least friends.

That said, As you know, I talk about it often as I watch Bush's new Middle East (dis)order progress. He ignored Afghanistan so he could use the patriot acts powers to divert from Afghanistan to attack Iraq using the excuse of unseating Saddam so he could get in the Middle East to help Israel establish a buffer zone and establish a new middle east (dis) order or so Israel and Cheney thought. Bush at Cheney's urging made an abrupt shift in policy towards Syria, a shift that has now brought the entire Mideast region to the brink of war and chaos. That plan was put together in 1996 for Israel. They were just waiting for an idiot to come along so they could implement their plan for the Middle East. Along came the life long follower and life long alcoholic loser Georgie Bush. I wish I could say the rest is History but this is still barely beginning and just beginning to take shape. All Bush did by ignoring Afghanistan and attacking Iraq was to guarantee a loss of everything and a complete Middle East and Asian Breakdown.

We freed Iran up to pursue her version of new middle East order by interfering wherever she could while Bush was doing the same thing with his Middle East Democratization program. I think you can see how successful Bush and Cheney were with chaos creating Middle East Democracy program but you are barely seeing the results they created in Iran.

The goal absolutely is to be the country who decides which direction the new Middle East (dis)order will take. Bombers kill 31 at Iraq campaign rally for Shiites:  An al-Qaida breakaway group, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, claimed responsibility for the attack at the Industrial Stadium in eastern Baghdad, which drew about 10,000 backers of the Iranian-backed Asaib Ahl al-Haq group.It said on a militant website that the bombings were to avenge what it called the killing of Sunnis and their forced removal from their homes by Shiite militias.

The attack was a stark reminder of the sectarian violence that has plagued Iraq more than two years after U.S. troops ended an eight-year presence that often served as a buffer between the nation's Shiite majority and its Sunni Arab minority. Last year, the death toll in the country climbed to its highest levels since the worst of the sectarian bloodshed between 2006 and 2008.

Both Iran and Saudi Arabia have been using Lebanon and now Syria as their battlefront, up to now they have been able to avoid direct confrontation. Iran has pumped millions of dollars in supplies and arms into Lebanon and Syria much to the consternation of her suffering people while Saudi Arabia has been supporting the Palestinian Authority.

So far there has been no direct confrontation. However I absolutely see what I have been warning about since Bush diverted from Afghanistan to attack Iraq and get back in the middle east to create a new middle east (dis)order! I do not give a damn what anyone says. Bush, Cheney, and their Democratization program in an already historically unstable middle east set all of this and more in motion!

The hell on earth Bush created for Iraqi’s will engulf the entire Middle East before it encompasses the entire world if we can not contain it. Under Bush we broke a long standing tradition of not adding fuel to the Middle East fire by supplying weapons. We are now, including advanced weaponry and missile defence systems. The Middle East breakdown Bush started armed and funded is continuing under Obama. This up to now proxy war in the middle east is under way.

Syrians have unwittingly and bravely gotten themselves caught in the middle of the fight for a new middle east order we started and the middle east will have to fight. I hope we can largely stay out of it. I do not want to see it devolve into WW3 and it will if Islamists succeed in dragging Israel into this.

3 years ago Soldiers in Syria were going door to door in Deraa and Douma knocking on doors even in the middle of the night and shooting people as they answer the door and then shooting everyone in the house. Now they have graduated to obliterating whole villages that back the protesters. 
 Supposedly this expected situation is begging for us to get involved but we damn well better not. Unless that is going to war with Iran is the goal.
