Balancing Power? United States led middle east breakdown is more like it!
Weapons Sales to middle east allies Move Ahead Despite US Worries
Weapons Sales to Iraq Move Ahead Despite US Worries: The Obama administration is moving ahead with the sale of nearly $11 billion worth of arms and training for the Iraqi military despite concerns that Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki is seeking to consolidate authority, create a one-party Shiite-dominated state and abandon the American-backed power-sharing government.
The military aid, including advanced fighter jets and battle tanks, is meant to help the Iraqi government protect its borders and rebuild a military that before the 1991 Persian Gulf war was one of the largest in the world; it was disbanded in 2003 after the United States invasion. What about what we did with our illegal attack? What about adding fuel to the fire of civil war we ignited with our illegal war?
US Seals $3.48B Missiles, Technology Sale To UAE: The U.S. and U.A.E. have a strong defense relationship and are both interested in “a secure and stable” Persian Gulf region. The deal includes 96 missiles, along with supporting technology and training support that Little says will bolster the nation’s missile defense capacity. The deal includes a contract with Lockheed Martin to produce the highly sophisticated Terminal High Altitude Area Defense, or THAAD, weapon system for the U.A.E.
US to sell F-15s to Saudi Arabia: The Obama administration is poised to announce the sale of nearly US$30 billion worth of F-15 fighter jets to Saudi Arabia, U.S. officials said. The deal will send 84 new fighter jets and upgrades for 70 more, for a total of US$29.4 billion, according to the officials Wednesday, who requested anonymity because the sale has not been made public. The agreement boosts the military strength of Saudi Arabia, a key U.S. ally in the Middle East, at a time when the Obama administration is looking to counter Iranian threats in the region.
Underscoring that effort was a fresh threat this week from Tehran, which warned that it could disrupt traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, a vital Persian Gulf oil transport route, if Washington levies new sanctions targeting Iran's crude oil exports. About a year ago, the administration got the go-ahead from Congress for a 10-year, US$60 billion arms deal with Saudi Arabia that included F-15s, helicopters and a broad array of missiles, bombs and delivery systems, as well as radar warning systems and night-vision goggles. Don't forget the billions in advanced weaponry given to Israel as a "counter balance" Also the 70 Billion in advanced arms give to our so called middle east allies to defend against Iran.
A Moderate Official at Risk in a Fracturing Iraq: RAFE AL-ESSAWI is the man in charge of Iraq’s finances, a moderate Sunni doctor who greets his guests and denounces his foes in practiced English. He may also be the next leader to fall as the country’s Shiite prime minister takes aim at perceived rivals and enemies, his fate a litmus test for a country in crisis.
10 Years ago we noted: U.S. promises of military aid or arms sales to strengthen its Middle Eastern allies against Iran and other regional foes seem aimed at repairing a balance of power destroyed by the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq. That is not what is going to happen or what this is about.
Supposedly Toppling Saddam Hussein ended Iraq's role as a counterweight to Iran, a part it had played since the 1980s in a Gulf security system that Washington had hoped would contain the rival powers. That was only the smallest of the repercussions. Toppling Saddam gave Bush the excuse to get into the middle east, upset the balance of the entire middle east as Bush knew would be the case, and set the stage for Bush's new middle east order that has long been planned and he will not stop now.
This is still just beginning but it will increase rapidly with Iran's threat to close the Gulf and us arming our Allies to help fight them. I had some interesting conversations in relation to this story. That made me remember how long this has all been planned, and put the rest of this developing scenario together. After 50 years of middle east policy and not arming them to fight wars Bush has changed that in hopes of getting them to fight Iran and Syria.
Bush now Obama will be freed to attack Pakistan and Iran from the Gulf as Iraq quiets and others fight Iran on the ground, or so they think!
We must make a Difference! We think we will now be free to go after Pakistan and Iran from the Gulf with our carrier and battle Groups while others will be able to defend themselves and will be doing the brunt of the fighting and ground combat. Everything is almost prepared. It gets much worse
Remember the Saudi Iranian Neo cold war It is soon to be out in the open and go virile!
Remember the Iran Saudi proxy war in Iraq gaining steam
Remember the Saudi's opened their air so Israel could attack Iran
I have to reiterate something I have said too many times since Bush chose to ignore all warnings of total civil war spreading throughout the entire Middle East so he could attack Iraq and straighten out the Middle East as God spoke to him and instructed him to. You know I firmly believe and have said so a million times by now that since 9/11 everything was construed to allow Bush to gain the power he needed to prosecute his new order not just in the Middle East but on the entire world! He diverted from Afghanistan to get back into the Middle East with the goal of setting up a larger safety zone for Israel and going after Iran.
Bush has created a hell on earth for Iraq that he calls liberty and success with promises to spread it throughout the entire Middle East. He has long wanted a Korea style force in Iraq to secure the peace! We were concerned because we knew that would never work in Iraq or the Middle East! Planting our military in the middle of the mess Bush has created out of the Middle East because of his failed Democratization program would be a Custer's Last Stand on a grand scale!
I still see a total civil war Sunni against Shiite erupting in the Middle East because Bush freed up Iran to instigate it on their end and they are. I still am concerned we will have a permanent presence in the Middle East but feel we will have to largely leave Iraq to her own demise. We will still be there but it looks like Yemen, and the Gulf of Aden will be the prime focus unless Iran gets something going between the US and Iran.
As you know, I talk about it often as I watch Bush's new Middle East (dis)order progress. He ignored Afghanistan so he could use the patriot acts powers to divert from Afghanistan to attack Iraq using the excuse of unseating Saddam so he could get in the Middle East to help Israel establish a buffer zone and establish a new middle east (dis) order or so Israel and Cheney thought. Bush at Cheney's urging made an abrupt shift in policy towards Syria, a shift that has now brought the entire Mideast region to the brink of war and chaos. Much worse than the hell on earth they created for Iraq. Did you ever read A clean Break, Cheney's well documented destructive plans for the middle east
That plan was put together in 1996 for Israel. They were just waiting for an idiot to come along so they could implement their plan for the Middle East. Along came the life long follower and life long alcoholic loser Georgie Bush. I wish I could say the rest is History but this is still barely beginning and just beginning to take shape. All Bush did by ignoring Afghanistan and attacking Iraq was to guarantee a loss of everything and a complete Middle East and Asian Breakdown.
He freed Iran up to pursue her version of new middle East order by interfering wherever she could while Bush was doing the same thing with his Middle East Democratization program. I think you can see how successful Bush and Cheney were with chaos creating Middle East Democracy program but you are barely seeing the results they created in Iran.
The goal absolutely is to be the country who decides which direction the new Middle East (dis)order will take. Bush started it by attacking Iraq to get into the middle east to destabilize it and start the new middle east order the idiot said God told him to do now it will be up to Iran and Saudi Arabia at least up front fight it out whether this goes the Iranian Shiite way or the Saudi Arabian Sunni way and do not forget Israel!
Both will fail! It has long been my contention that coming to Israel's aid once they attack Iran will be our in to Iran!
Watch out Iran! Watch out world!

Iran: We will help 'cut out the cancer of Israel': Iran's leader warns U.S. on war
Iran: We'll back any nation wanting to fight the Zionist regime'
Iran threatens retaliation over oil embargo
Iran's leader warns U.S. on war
Iran: We will help 'cut out the cancer of Israel': Iran will help anyone willing to "cut out the cancer" of Israel, its Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said today. He warned that any military strike by the West would only make Iran stronger.
"From now on, in any place, if any nation or any group confronts the Zionist regime, we will endorse and we will help. We have no fear expressing this," said Khamenei. He said Israel is a "cancerous tumor that should be cut and will be cut". Iran has been repeatedly defiant to hints that the US and Israel may at some point launch military strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
Helping Israel is the reason Bush attacked Iraq in order to unseat Saddam Hussein. In doing so he freed up Iran to instigate for her supremacy and version of new middle east "dis"order. The idea was to first help create a buffer zone of Israel friendly countries and then find a way to get into a war with Iran.If you think back and remember the numerous Border incidents on the Iraq Iran border and the incidents in the gulf between the IRG and the United States and Britain all failing to find a way to instigate the desired war but it is coming closer all day every day.
There is another war coming and very soon: In attacking Iraq Bush freed Iran up to pursue her version of new middle East order by interfering wherever she could while Bush was doing the same thing with his Middle East Democratization program. I think you can see how successful Bush and Cheney were with chaos creating Middle East Democracy program but you are barely seeing the results they created in Iran.

Iraqi Kurds To Vote On Independence which is a given

/ Iraqi Kurds To Vote On Independence: President of Iraq's Kurdish region, already largely autonomous, says the country is already partitioned. The partition of Iraq lurched closer to reality on Tuesday when the head of the country’s already quasi-autonomous Kurdish region publicly declared he would schedule a referendum on independence. Polls and previous votes indicate that the measure is certain to pass, leading, in all likelihood, to an independent Kurdistan on the northern and northeastern borders of Iraq.
“From now on, we won’t hide that that’s our goal,” Massoud Barzani, president of the Regional Kurdistan Government, told the BBC in an interview. “Iraq is effectively partitioned now. Are we supposed to stay in this tragic situation the country’s living? It’s not me who will decide on independence. It’s the people.”

Kurds seize opportunity to form Kurdistan
Kurds seize disputed oil hub amid Iraq chaos:
As al-Qaida-inspired militants advanced across northern Iraq and
security forces melted away, Kurdish fighters who have long dominated
Kirkuk ordered Iraqi troops out and seized full control of the regional
oil hub and surrounding areas, "They said they would defend Kirkuk from
the Islamic State," said the Arab officer, who oversaw a warehouse in
the city's central military base.
He asked that his rank not be made public.A lawmaker from Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki's Shiite-led bloc condemned the peshmerga's move, calling it a "plot" carried out in coordination with the regional government that would "lead to problems." "The Kurds have taken advantage of the current situation. They seized Kirkuk and they have other plans to swallow other areas," Mohammed Sadoun told The Associated Press. Kurds have long wanted to incorporate it into their self-ruled region, but Arabs and Turkmen are opposed
A free Kurdistan will not be denied now whether it is in Iraq or also part of Turkey .
Remember, the Kurds want their oil and their freedom. That is only one small fact Bush ignored to attack Iraq so he could help Israel and instigate war with Iran.
Remember, the Kurds are Sunni and al-Maliki Shiite. Al- Maliki and Iran see Hashimi and the Kurds as a threat to their dominance in the new middle east order. The Kurds wanting a free Kurdistan are now a people without a country"
Kurds are a dispossessed people whose natural homeland stretches across much of the Middle East. A substantial number of Kurds live in Iran, which is as close to a mortal enemy of the United States as there is in the world today. American support for reclaiming those colonial possessions of Tehran and the incorporation of those lands into Kurdistan would roughly double the area of the Iraqi Kurds.
A significant, but smaller, number of Kurds live in Syria, an enemy of America and was a supporter both of the Iraqi insurgency and of international terrorism. If the Baathist regime did not give up its Kurdish lands, then the Kurds, with American military support, should smash the Syrian Army and force as humiliating a peace treaty as possible on Damascus.
The majority of the thirty million or so Kurds, however, live in Turkey – almost one quarter of the population of Turkey. Another important reason for supporting a true Kurdistan is that the Kurds are a genuinely diverse people. Although they were forced to covert to Islam, today only about seventy percent of the Kurds are Moslem, and many of those only nominally, Jews, Christians, Zoroastrians (or a faith much akin to that) and Bahai have lived within the long-persecuted Kurdish community with their first allegiance as Kurds, and there is no single branch of Islam that clearly dominates the Kurdish community.
Kurdistan could then be a democracy with an Islamic majority that was genuinely inclusive of all faiths, both needing the support of all Kurds to survive (much like Israel) and also because of centuries of living largely underground, tolerant of all Kurds. There is little doubt that it would become an affluent nation as capable of defending itself as Israel is today, and that along with the establishment of a truly free and democratic Lebanon, would create three strong, free and prosperous democracies which would naturally become allies or at least friends.

Iraq's rapid fall to civil war was expected on day one of Bush's illegal attack
The rapid deterioration in Iraq’s security situation has led to floods of people taking to the roads to escape the fighting. Check points outside towns as yet unaffected by the advancing Sunni militants are filling up with vehicles and people as refugees press their cases to be allowed to continue.
Many are making their way into Kurdish-held areas which have remained mostly safe and stable, like the outskirts of lrbil, the capital of autonomous Kurdistan.
“I swear to God, the situation is terrible. Our normal life has been destroyed. Our fate remains uncertain because of the existing sectarian tension,” said the father of several children.
Wave of Iraqi Executions Feared in ISIS Takeover
Kurdish Peshmerga Say They are Ready if Islamists Bring Fight to them
The breakdown and Sunni against Shiite against Kurd was guaranteed the day Bush ignored all good advice to the contrary and attacked Iraq. It was guaranteed as soon as we left whether we left today or were stupid enough to hang around longer as Republican nominees are wrongly criticizing Obama for not doing. From Iraq it will spread throughout the entire middle east compliments of Bush not Obama.
The International Committee of the Red Cross, in a report titled "Iraq: No Let-up in the Humanitarian Crisis," writes, "Despite limited improvements in security in some areas, armed violence is still having a disastrous impact. Civilians continue to be killed in the hostilities. "The injured often do not receive adequate medical care. Nothing has changed people except in some cases to get worse.
Millions of people have been forced to rely on insufficient supplies of poor-quality water as water and sewage systems suffer from a lack of maintenance and a shortage of engineers." "Nothing has changed people but we are leaving them to their own demise and it will spread through the entire middle east."
Both Amnesty and the Red Cross slam the Iraqi government for failing to grapple with the critical needs of their populations.
The two reports cited a litany of concerns that will not be corrected, including severe widespread poverty, a lack of food and water, and broken families left to scrounge for whatever they can find to get by. Both reports described a situation that shows no sign of clear improvement. Many women "have been forced to wear Islamic dress or targeted for abduction, rape or killing. That is not to speak of the more than 2 million permanent nomads because of Bush's and Obama's.
If Bush had stayed in Afghanistan as he should have instead of diverting from the war on terror to attack Iraq so he could start implementing his new middle east order, Iraq may still have a Dictator but they would have security, electricity, water, fuel, and a lot more than they have now or will have in the future. We will never be able to bring services anywhere close to the level they were at when Saddam was in power. It is laughable to think that anyone thought they would be better post Saddam.
The Congressional investigation into reconstruction in Iraq found that six out of eight projects the Bush administration claimed to be a success were falling apart, throwing doubts over the long-term viability of much of the $30 billion program. I have to tell you, the entire program, the surge, Democracy, everything, was guaranteed lost from the get go. What ever is built will be destroyed.
The report looked at hospital projects that at last count their was one capable of operating at all and that great success. Each sect is only concerned with looking out for their own interest and future and as we are told to ignore everyday because it is not "the reality on the ground" reality is much worse! The inspectors found serious plumbing and electrical failures due to looting, equipment lying idle to me primarily because people are scared to death to venture out into the reality Bush has created for them.
This 2007 report blames Iraqi's for the disaster Bush created and still exists today From the Political system to the oil Industry, Hospitals, electricity, plumbing, security, everything, It will not be turned around and will only get a lot worse before it spreads throughout the entire middle east.
In closing, the 2009 report:The humanitarian situation remained alarming. According to the UN, at least 4 million Iraqis still did not have enough food, around 40 per cent of the population did not have access to clean drinking water, and 30 per cent did not have access to adequate health care services. The education system was near collapse with schools and universities lacking essential materials such as books, and teachers and students terrorized by violence. Many schools were bombed. The unemployment rate remained extremely high at 50 per cent or even higher. If this is success the entire middle east is screwed!
In the middle of our "success" I still see a total civil war Sunni against Shiite erupting in the Middle East because Bush freed up Iran to instigate it on their end and they are.
Did you ever read A clean Break a 2003 Executive intelligence Review that tells the truth as to our diabolical plans
We freed Iran up to pursue her version of new middle East order by interfering wherever she could while Bush was doing the same thing with his Middle East Democratization program. I think you can see how successful Bush and Cheney were with chaos creating Middle East Democracy program but you are barely seeing the results they created in Iran.
This is all our fault, Bush's not Obama's and we are not going to stop the complete break down of the entire middle east.

Multiple bombings target Kurds in Iraq in attempt to drag them into Iraq's breakdown
Sectarian violence gets worse every year since Americans illegaly attacked Iraq then left

Multiple bombings target Kurds in Iraq: A double bombing targeting Iraq's Kurdish minority has killed at least 18 people in the country's north east, as clashes continued for a second day.A suicide attack, followed by a car bombing, struck the offices of Iraqi president Jalal Talabani's Patriotic Union of Kurdistan party in the town of Jalawla, in the ethnically mixed Diyala province on Sunday. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant said it carried out the attack, saying the attack had been carried out by two suicide bombers as revenge for the arrest of Muslim women in Iraq's Kurdish region. Al Jazeera's Imran Khan, reporting from Baghdad, said public statements by ISIL suggested they wanted to drag the Kurds into this conflict. More than 4,500 people have been killed in 2014, according to the AFP news agency.
Security slips further in Iraq as car bombs hit Baghdad: A weekend wave of violence has been hitting Iraq, with Saturday in particular seeing a dozen car bombs going off in Baghdad. All were in shi’ite areas, the deadliest being in Bayaa, where 23 people died, many of them young men playing billiards. In all at least 60 people were killed in the capital.
Militants also stormed the university in Ramadi, which they have held parts of since the start of the year, and this came on the heels of fighting in Mosul on Friday that claimed at least 50 lives,. On Thursday militants extended control over Anbar province’s other main city which they have held since January, Falluja. The UN says in the last six months the lack of security has forced 480,000 people from their homes in Anbar, the largest displacement since the 2006-7 peak in sectarian massacres.
Since last year, Iraq has been seeing the worst level of violence since sectarian violence in 2008. The UN has said 8,868 people were killed in 2013, and more than 1,400 people were killed in January and February of this year. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack on Thursday, which came two days after a series of car bombings rocked the capital and killed at least 34 people. It was the bloodiest day in Iraq since April 28, when attacks claimed by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant on polling stations and other targets killed 46. The latest attacks come also nearly two weeks after Iraqis cast ballots in the country's first parliamentary election since the US military withdrawal in 2011.
Analysis: Is Iraq really sliding back to civil war? Bush knew damn well it would before his illegal attack
Ongoing fighting in Iraq's Anbar hits businesses
Analysis: Is Iraq really sliding back to civil war?:According
to Iraq Body Count, a UK-based independent tracking database, 863
people were killed between 1 and 26 April, while the overall death toll
since the beginning of the year is rapidly approaching 4,000.
Although the current death rate is still well short of the 2,000-a-month seen at the height of the al-Qaeda insurgency in 2006, it is the highest it has been for six years - fuelling fears that the violence will only increase after the 30 April elections as the various political blocs vie for influence and power.A number of respected commentators, including David Ignatius, an associate editor and columnist for the Washington Post, and veteran British foreign correspondent Patrick Cockburn are now starting to ask if the country is heading back to civil war.
Thanks to Bush's success: Once a model city in Arab world, Baghdad is still the world's worst city
Once a model city in Arab world, Baghdad is now the world's worst city:
Residents of Baghdad contend with near-daily attacks, a lack of electricity and clean water, poor sewerage and drainage systems, rampant corruption, regular gridlock, high unemployment and a myriad other problems.
Once a model city in Arab world, Baghdad is now the world's worst city: The Iraqi capital was lumped with Bangui in the conflict-hit Central African Republic and the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince, the latest confirmation of the 1,250-year-old city's fall from grace as a global intellectual, economic and political centre. Residents of Baghdad contend with near-daily attacks, a lack of electricity and clean water, poor sewerage and drainage systems, rampant corruption, regular gridlock, high unemployment and a myriad other problems.
World's worst city is a medal that Baghdad has worn since Bush's illegal attach. In the 1970's it was held as a shining example:
Of course the U.S. Wasted Billions of Dollars on Iraqi Reconstruction after we helped destroy it.

Wasted Billions of Dollars on Iraqi Reconstruction: Despite the
intervening decade, the report concluded that “the U.S. government is not much
better prepared for the next stabilization operation than it was in 2003,”
according to the report, The failure of hundreds of projects to achieve their
potential – or in some cases to even be completed – has left “a legacy of bitter
dissatisfaction among many Iraqis,” according to the 184-page report.
The breakdown and Sunni
against Shiite against Kurd was guaranteed the day Bush ignored all good advice
to the contrary and attacked Iraq. It was guaranteed as soon as we left whether
we left today or were stupid enough to hang around longer as Republican nominees
are wrongly criticizing Obama for not doing. From Iraq it will spread throughout
the entire middle east compliments of Bush not Obama.
