Russia joins the US and the UN calling for Syria to end violence against peaceful protesters but Iran will never allow it

UN rights investigators have warned Syria to stop using excessive force against peaceful protestors. In a joint statement, independent experts have called on President Bashar al-Assad’s government to halt its violent crackdown that has resulted in executions and other crimes punishable under international law.The start of Ramadan has seen no let up in the violence. That said Iran and the IRG will not stop and will not allow a Democracy in their only middle east ally.

We keep hearing that the writing is on the wall for Bashar and his days are numbered. They may be but it is a big number and Syria and Iran are not going to be deterred by what we say. I know the protesters vowed not to be deterred stating they will break the Government period but there is no way. The Syrian Government will kill and arrest who they have too. Iran will accept nothing less and they "the IRG" are in charge!
I remember the Syrian opposition saying that they would not stop and would ultimately defeat the Government saying Democratic transition would safeguard Syria from violence. As outsiders looking in we know nothing could be further from the truth. People are being imprisoned and murdered and I can not see that stopping until the Democracy movement is crushed. Supposedly this expected situation is begging for us to get involved but we damn well better not. Unless that is going to war with Iran is the goal.

Those of you that follow me know going after Iran is why Bush lied to get to attack Iraq and get back into the Middle East. Iran is helping Syria, us helping the protesters is exactly what Iran wants so they can bring out in the open the war against the United States.

I have to reiterate something I have said too many times since Bush chose to ignore all warnings of total civil war spreading throughout the entire Middle East so he could attack Iraq and straighten out the Middle East as God spoke to him and instructed him to. You know I firmly believe and have said so a million times by now that since 9/11 everything was construed to allow Bush to gain the power he needed to prosecute his new order not just in the Middle East but on the entire world! He diverted from Afghanistan to get back into the Middle East with the goal of setting up a larger safety zone for Israel and going after Iran. As expected this democratization started by Bush has taken on a life of its own.

I still see a total civil war Sunni against Shiite erupting in the Middle East because Bush freed up Iran to instigate it on their end and they are. I still am concerned we will have a permanent presence in the Middle East but feel we will have to largely leave Iraq to her own demise. We will still be there but it looks like Yemen, and the Gulf of Aden will be the prime focus unless Iran gets something going between the US and Iran.

Saddam Hussein with his lies about possessing WMD kept Iran in check. Bush freed Iran up to pursue her version of new middle East order by interfering wherever she could while Bush was doing the same thing with his Middle East Democratization program. I think you can see how successful Bush and Cheney were with their chaos creating Middle East Democracy program but you are barely seeing the results they created in Iran.

The goal absolutely is to be the country who decides which direction the new Middle East (dis)order will take. Bush started it by attacking Iraq to get into the middle east to destabilize it and start the new middle east order the idiot said God told him to do now it will be up to Iran and Saudi Arabia at least up front fight it out whether this goes the Iranian Shiite way or the Saudi Arabian Sunni way and do not forget Israel!

Both will fail! It has long been my contention that coming to Israel's aid once they attack Iran will be our in to Iran!

The entire middle east and north Africa and our more than century of interference and exploitation can take the blame for that too. Planting our military in the middle of the mess Bush has created out of the Middle East because of his failed Democratization program is going to be a Custer's Last Stand on a grand scale if we are still there when this breaks open! Looking at the war cabinet Obama has amassed I am going to say at this point that this is going to happen even under a President Obama.

Actually Russia, China and Lebanon have blocked a move for the UN Security Council to condemn Syria's crackdown on dissent. Sanctioning slaughter is more like it!

You have to be very concerned about what is happening in Syria especially. Iran is not going to allow Syria to fall to Democracy,Iran is in Syria helping Bashar Assad and they do not want us interfering. What we saw after the voter fraud in Iran was mild compared to what the IRG will do if this movement spreads to Iran. I really wish Bashar would step down but Iran is the elephant in the room any way you look at it. The total middle east breakdown we have written about numerous times is well under way. We can only hope we keep it from erupting into WW3.

Syria increasingly isolated as ambassadors leave setting up proxy war between the west and its allies and Iran and Syria

Turkey to press Syria to end bloodshed: The Syrian regime is facing a chorus of global reproach as envoys from Turkey, India, Brazil and South Africa head to Damascus to press President Bashar al-Assad to end the violent crackdown on a five-month-old uprising.

Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah demanded an end to the bloodshed in Syria on Monday and recalled his country's ambassador from Damascus, in a rare case of one of the Arab world's most powerful leaders intervening against another: The Saudi statement came with all the weight of the king's personal authority, and follows similar statements since Saturday from the Arab League and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Bahrain and Kuwait of course backed their Saudi ally and also came out against the Shiite minority suppressing and murdering the Sunni majority. I wonder how long Al Qaeda is going to let this go on and they are already speaking out.

Iran and Syria seem to be welcoming this response as they are also influencing the Shiite leadership in Iraq and eager to impress their version of a new Middle East order which Bush set in motion by attacking Iraq and freeing especially Iran to pursue.

Another Proxy war is going on and is setting up this one between the west and their Middle East allies and Syria and Iran.

Syria pursues army offensive despite Turkey, the west, and their middle east counterparts: Syrian forces killed at least five civilians and moved into a town near the Turkish border on Tuesday, activists and witnesses said, even as Turkey's foreign minister pressed President Bashar al-Assad to halt assaults on protests against his rule.

George w Bush purposely did this in his infinite stupidity: I have to reiterate something I have said too many times since Bush chose to ignore all warnings of total civil war spreading throughout the entire Middle East so he could attack Iraq and straighten out the Middle East as God spoke to him and instructed him to. You know I firmly believe and have said so a million times by now that since 9/11 everything was construed to allow Bush to gain the power he needed to prosecute his new order not just in the Middle East but on the entire world! I believe I remember hearing Russia weigh in against what Syria and Iran are doing but China has yet to weigh in. Any way you look at it we are playing into Iran’s hand.

Apparently hacked, Syrian government website condemns president

Apparently hacked, Syrian government website condemns president: The Syrian Ministry of Defense's website was inaccessible early Monday morning after it was hacked and its content replaced by an anti-government message. You can understand why as the slaughter continues but who exactly was it? An "anonymous" inside job?

Tanks shelled Syria's Hama for second day: Syrian tanks shelled the city of Hama, scene of a 1982 massacre, for the second day on Monday, killing at least four civilians, residents said, in an assault to try to crush protests against President Bashar al-Assad. The killings in the city's residential Hamidiyah district brought to 84 the number of civilians reported killed in a tank-backed crackdown on the central Syrian city, where Assad's father crushed an armed Muslim Brotherhood revolt 29 years ago by razing neighborhoods and killing many thousands of people. Citizens say they have hit the point of no return and vow to continue and defeat the Bashar Government. I sincerely wish them luck.

Activists: Syrian troops kill at least 52: Two Syrian rights groups say government forces have killed at least 52 people in the latest phase of their crackdown on dissent and the toll for the day could rise to 69. Ammar Qurabi, who heads the National Organization for Human Rights in Syria, says 42 people were killed in Deir el-Zour and 17 in Houleh. He says 10 people were shot dead in Idlib while taking part in a funeral.

Middle East Syrian army launches fresh assaults:The Syrian army has launched fresh assaults, reportedly killing dozens of people, as international condemnation of the violence against protesters continues to mount. Activists said troops stormed parts of the eastern city of Deir ez-Zor before dawn on Sunday, killing at least 20 people.

Just days ago '200 killed in Hama as Syrian tanks, snipers deployed',Snipers were seen on the roofs of buildings, activists told Al Arabiya, and tanks were deployed in various districts of the city.

More Attacks As Nations Slam Syria: World leaders have condemned the brutal crackdown on Syrian protesters that killed at least 100 people at the weekend as forces shelled the city of Hama for a second day.

of course Assad hails Syrian troops for fighting: President Bashar al-Assad of Syria has praised his armed forces in the face of what he called a "warped plot" against the country. In a speech… and as expected the slaughter of Democracy seekers continues.

Deadly Syrian crackdown continues as Fresh attacks reported in Deir ez-Zor, a day after 142 people reported killed in Hama and elsewhere in the country.

Security Council Rebuke of Syria Ends Prolonged Deadlock: The statement “is a very clear message to the Syrian regime that the Security Council is united, it is watching the situation very closely and it expects now a significant change of approach from the Syrian regime,” the British ambassador told reporters. “If it doesn’t get that then obviously the Security Council will address the situation again.” Forget it!

Syria reacts with fury to US involvement in Hama as they do not want any interference with Iran

Syrian VP calls for transition to democracy as Syria reacts with fury to US involvement in Hama as they do not want any interference with Iran
Syrian VP calls for transition to democracy: Syria's vice president called Sunday for a transition to democracy and credited protesters with forcing the regime to consider reforms.

The US State Department has summoned Syria's ambassador after receiving reports of Syrian diplomats filming people protesting peacefully in the US. Imad Mustapha was told of "a number of US concerns" involving embassy staff, the State Department said. The US says it is also investigating reports that Damascus may have acted against protesters' families in Syria.

Syria reacts with fury to US involvement in Hama: The city has seen repeated demonstrations and is a sensitive flashpoint as the base of the biggest uprising in Syria’s recent history, which ended in the deaths of 10-20,000 people in 1982.

The United States has tightened pressure on the Syrian regime of President Bashar al-Assad by sending its ambassador to a city at the center of the anti-government protests and Syria and Iran are in an uproar because of the US trying to sway the outcome as only Iran is allowed to do.

I know the protesters vowed not to be deterred stating they will break the Government period but there is no way. The Syrian Government will kill and arrest who they have too. Iran will accept nothing less and they "the IRG" are in charge!
