No fly zone imposed in Japan crisis: meltdown alert raises specter of nuclear nightmare, all 4 endangered reactors have now exploded
Japanese officials say nuclear fuel rods exposed to air
Japan crisis: meltdown alert raises specter of nuclear nightmare
Japan Earthquake: Third Reactor at Fukushima Nuclear Plant Explode
Radiation levels are soaring in Japan. They are now saying that this still growing nuclear crisis is the second worst in the world. This dwarfs 3 mile island here in the United States and they are ranking it second only to Chernobyl in Russia. I remember watching the magnitude and horror of Chernobyl unfold and "unfold" is a misnomer because it is still unfolding.
I remember a year ago doing a story on Germany's radioactive wild Boars. This was 24 years after the fact and because of the wide spread fallout the boars which lived off mushrooms were contaminated radioactively and the Government was paying hunters $500,000 apiece to keep them off the table.
The widespread damage was widespread and of course was in the water supply and in the air moving around Europe and the world. You know it's effect will be felt for years. Chernobyl the wikepedia Anyway 300,000 people were relocated in that disaster, though found contaminated above accepted levels numerous strategic water supplies were and are still being used, and the reactor was cemented under massive amounts of cement.
That all said it paints too nice a picture and just imagine this in the little Island of Japan. I remember when this was first happening the truth is always spoken before authorities get a grip and start painting a pretty picture so as not to panic the people. That said at the beginning they said reactors were in danger then went to one, two, and three. They have already moved a million people and have now imposed a no fly zone over the contaminated area. Forget about the massive destruction to the people and economy. This is an island people.

I agree with this and it's coming our way. Will this government start giving prevention measures to us . They have to do it very soon if this is true.
I am pissed and I agree! They are happy it is turning and going out to sea but that will end up in the ocean too. Fucking sea life! Remember the sea is the root of life, phytoplankton is the largest source of oxygen on the planet.
I remember the big die off in the Chesapeake they supposedly couldn't pin point.
They just found out the millions of sardines found dead in California were contaminated.
You know what they did to the Gulf, you know about the monstrous dead spots and the continent size garbage swirls and pardon me but how fffing stupid do we have to act?
Today they are scrambling to keep the containment pools from catching on fire. (Full of hot nuclear waste)
They have become to hot (radioactive) to approach, so they are going to use helicopter drops, to try to bring the water level back up.
They really don't know the status of these pools. They are just guessing.
Thanks Wease! I have been working on something and haven't been able to stay on top of it right now.
I don't care what they say. This is going to be worse than Chernobyl. Japan is an island and about the size of California. Location, location, location. I am going to check out the latest now. In every regard things are moving so fast.
