Ahmadinejad's endorsement as expected brings new protests joined by Karroubi! So it continues!

Khamenei officially endorses Ahmadinejad's re-election as show trials begin!

Kharroubi was not at Ahmadinejad's endorsement yesterday aduring which is known as President's day to ceremoniously innaugurate Ahmadinejad to his second Presidency. I watched it andthings were certainly different from 2005. Ahmadinejad was very reserved even standoff ish and finallykissed Khamenei in Arabic tradition not in Iranian tradition

Khatemei cautioned President Ahmadinejad that the angry crowd would continue their opposition and challenge his government during his next 4 years in office. He said Ahmadinejad would only have his support as long as Ahmadinejad listened to the people and had their support. Hellooo! Are you still not listening either. The people want a revote or at least matching protests both of which I agree would be right!

Khatemei closed saying also called for full support of those who underwent sufferings in the aftermath of the June 12 presidential election, adding that those who brought about the sufferings should be "identified and taken to task." That will never happen either. You saw the result of the protests Saturday after those that were beaten and tortured for wanting the truth started going on trial.
In Leader approval, Ahmadinejad warned over critics

As you may know by now the bodies of several young protesters have been turned over to their families in recent weeks, all showing signs of beatings or other abuse while in custody, according to pro-opposition Web sites, citing accounts from relatives. Among them was the son of a prominent conservative, which has brought a wave of criticism from the camp that generally backs the government.
Ayatollah Hossein Ali Montazeri defied an order to close the prison where the deaths occurred because he refused to cover it up despite Khamenei's order to do so. This is creating a division that will only continue to grow! It is and it will every step of the way until? The show trials have begun and the protests will continue! The division is now within and without! Clashes are again getting worse as opposition forces are beginning to come out in greater numbers again.

The more the Government tries to implement their goals with the false President Ahmadinejad the more frequent protests are getting. This will not die until Khatemei listens to his own words and listens to the will of the people. There are still calls for his death and they will continue until the people are heard. Even Khatemei mouths the words that an election is not valid if the people are not behind it. They can not just be words but must be put into action.

I am curious about what news is getting into Iran. Do the Iranian people know that the world is watching and do they know that they have the attention of people who are concerned, and not just the attention of people who want to bomb them into the stone age.

We getting the official news but we are also getting news from unofficial sources. Technology being what it is, and tech savvy people being what they are, Iranians must be getting something from the western world. I hope they get to read this blog.

Hi Holte
Yes they know, they are majorly tech savvy. I keep seeing the pictures they send with their cell phones. Do you know Naj? She is on my Blog roll "neoresistance"and her family is still there. She has taught me much over the years. Before I close I saw a great underground TV station in San Fran showing what is really going on there.

Great, sorry I took so long! I have learned a hell of a lot about Iran from her. She is a good one to keep an eye on to get Iran facts!

It doesn't matter who is the supposed winner they are all bred to hate the U.S, especially since Bush was king.

At least they're getting 'show trials'. Here in the U.S., the Bush/Cheney cabal has openly lied us into war; subverted the Constitution; committed war crimes and crimes against humanity; tortured and illegally wire-tapped people, and our President and Congress choose to live in a state of denial, saying "We need to look forward, not backward".

We are no better than those we deride.

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone............
