Living a Lie: Good news about Romney not giving up incase McCain falls, Move on Facts about Palin that should help, and thoughts to my son in Iraq!

This picture and the subject conversation was enigma's

First I had a conversation with my son in Iraq and it made me think about this entire mess with Palin and the Government, and this entire lie we are living today: If you Believe anything the Government tells you you're a rube and part of the problem! A grey area is always created to hide a hidden agenda! You know what you know but it is the things you don't know that will shape the facts and teach you the real truth,. That is why they are hidden from you to confuse the issue!

Now Move on's take on Palin:
Yesterday was John McCain's 72nd birthday. If elected, he'd be the oldest president ever inaugurated. And after months of slamming Barack Obama for "inexperience," here's who John McCain has chosen to be one heartbeat away from the presidency: a right-wing religious conservative with no foreign policy experience, who until recently was mayor of a town of 9,000 people. Huh? Who is Sarah Palin? Here's some basic background: She was elected Alaska's governor a little over a year and a half ago. Her previous office was mayor of Wasilla, a small town outside Anchorage. She has no foreign policy experience.1 Palin is strongly anti-choice, opposing abortion even in the case of rape or incest.2 She supported right-wing extremist Pat Buchanan for president in 2000. 3 Palin thinks creationism should be taught in public schools.4 She's doesn't think humans are the cause of climate change.5 She's solidly in line with John McCain's "Big Oil first" energy policy. She's pushed hard for more oil drilling and says renewables won't be ready for years. She also sued the Bush administration for listing polar bears as an endangered species—she was worried it would interfere with more oil drilling in Alaska.6 How closely did John McCain vet this choice? He met Sarah Palin once at a meeting. They spoke a second time, last Sunday, when he called her about being vice-president. Then he offered her the position.7

This is information the American people need to see. Please take a moment to forward this email to your friends and family. We also asked Alaska Move On members what the rest of us should know about their governor. The response was striking. Here's a sample: She is really just a mayor from a small town outside Anchorage who has been a governor for only 1.5 years, and has ZERO national and international experience. I shudder to think that she could be the person taking that 3AM call on the White House hotline, and the one who could potentially be charged with leading the US in the volatile international scene that exists today. —Rose M., Fairbanks, AK She is VERY, VERY conservative, and far from perfect. She's a hunter and fisherwoman, but votes against the environment again and again. She ran on ethics reform, but is currently under investigation for several charges involving hiring and firing of state officials. She has NO experience beyond Alaska. —Christine B., Denali Park, AK

As an Alaskan and a feminist, I am beyond words at this announcement. Palin is not a feminist, and she is not the reformer she claims to be. —Karen L., Anchorage, AK Alaskans, collectively, are just as stunned as the rest of the nation. She is doing well running our State, but is totally inexperienced on the national level, and very much unequipped to run the nation, if it came to that. She is as far right as one can get, which has already been communicated on the news. In our office of thirty employees (dems, republicans, and nonpartisans), not one person feels she is ready for the V.P. position.—Sherry C., Anchorage, AK She's vehemently anti-choice and doesn't care about protecting our natural resources, even though she has worked as a fisherman. McCain chose her to pick up the Hillary voters, but Palin is no Hillary. —Marina L., Juneau, AK

I think she's far too inexperienced to be in this position. I'm all for a woman in the White House, but not one who hasn't done anything to deserve it. There are far many other women who have worked their way up and have much more experience that would have been better choices. This is a patronizing decision on John McCain's part- and insulting to females everywhere that he would assume he'll get our vote by putting "A Woman" in that position.—Jennifer M., Anchorage, AK So Governor Palin is a staunch anti-choice religious conservative. She's a global warming denier who shares John McCain's commitment to Big Oil. And she's dramatically inexperienced. In picking Sarah Palin, John McCain has made the religious right very happy. And he's made a very dangerous decision for our country. In the next few days, many Americans will be wondering what McCain's vice-presidential choice means. Please pass this information along to your friends and family.

Thanks for all you do.

* Just as important and not mentioned but should be researched: WHY Didn't McCain make the Announcement in Alaska- HER home state. And then reading her story, some things did NOT make sense. Like that she was Pregnant and No One she worked with Knew she was pregnant ? And that she Flew HOME from Texas, and she was OVER 7 Months Pregnant and her water Broke ? I don't care how dedicated you are who the hell does that? How is it she went back to work so quickly with a special need baby? I mean come on get real!

The more I hear about her the more concerned I get. I heard a rumor that her daughter was pregnant and she was hiding it. That makes sense to another story I heard that her water broke in Texas and she flew home to give birth. Now it makes more sense when you hear that baby is her daughters. No wonder she was back on the trail in two or three days! This woman is a proven liar willing to fire everyone that disagrees with her and does not do her bidding. Whether she is a Woman or not she is more of the same and we are in trouble if they monkeys steal another one!

Now I was just over Betmo's and I hear Palin said in a mispeak that she had 4 kids not 5. She is not the Mother of that Baby her daughter is. She is the grandmother. Read this post on kos and you too will be convinced. Sarah is not the baby's mother

I was encouraged this morning as when I was lying in bed having my coffee I heard WBZ say that Romney has not giving up hope of his dream of making it to the White House. Personally I hope his waiting to see if McCain falls is pushed big time by his irresponsible pick for Veep!

I decided to take a day off from discussing Politics and Georgia and lighten up a bit but not totally: However check out the very real Air car!

Amidst a potpouri of concern a look at the air car coming in 2010 at $18,000

The 6 passenger air car coming in 2010!

Then Knowing there is A keen sense the West cheated Moscow out of promised warmer ties after the Cold War explains why Russia, recovered from post-Soviet collapse, has refused to be cowed over Georgia and demanded its views be heard. and of course they did! Georgia was the final straw for Russia

* U.S. 6th fleet flagship carrying aid to Georgia * Putin says U.S. military advisers involved in conflict, We are in the Black Sea along with Russia and Russian troops deep inside Georgian territory are stopping thousands of refugees from returning to their homes, a Georgian official said on Saturday. Russia blocking return of Georgian refugees

Knowing John McCain first met Sarah Palin only six months ago and had just one conversation with the Alaska governor before offering her the vice presidential slot on the Republican ticket, the Arizona senator's campaign said Friday. How McCain chose Palin

One friggen meeting what the hell is this idiot on? Begala is right! In choosing Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to be his running mate, he is not thinking "outside the box," as some have said. More like out of his mind. McCain is out of his friggen mind!

And what a surprise in this Police State! Police raided a rental hall used by a group organizing protests at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Friday. The RNC Welcoming Committee, which describes itself as "anarchist/anti-authoritarian," accused St. Paul police of trying to disrupt their protest planned for Monday, the day the GOP convention is set to begin. With guns drawn WTF?

Knowing Louisiana's Gulf coast is only one of the oceans growing Dead zones which is an aquatic graveyard known as a "dead zone." No sea life! It grows rapidly and is now 8,000 square miles of nothing!

Amidst this and much more a tiny ray of Positive news! The Air Car: You've heard of hybrids, electric cars and vehicles that can run on vegetable oil. But of all the contenders in the quest to produce the ultimate fuel-efficient car, this could be the first one to let you say, "fill it up with air." That's the idea behind the compressed air car, which backers say could achieve a fuel economy of 106 miles per gallon. Plenty of skepticism exists, but with many Americans trying to escape sticker shock at the gas pump, the concept is generating buzz.
The technology has been the focus of MDI, a European company founded in 1991 by a French inventor and former race car engineer. New York-based Zero Pollution Motors is the first firm to obtain a license from MDI to produce the cars in the United States, pledging to deliver the first models in 2010 at a price tag of less than $18,000. The concept is similar to how a locomotive works, except compressed air -- not steam -- moves the engine's pistons, said Shiva Vencat, vice president of MDI and CEO of Zero Pollution Motors. check it out it is very real and here now!

Yesterday a lot happened on the Russian Front" Gee what makes me think Bush is behind China Benefiting and Russia getting Dissed?

Russian facing increasing isolation!! What the hell do they care?

Yesterday we heard that Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has accused the United States of orchestrating the conflict in Georgia to benefit one of its presidential election candidates. In an exclusive interview with CNN's Matthew Chance in the Black Sea city of Sochi on Thursday, Putin said the U.S. had encouraged Georgia to attack the autonomous region of South Ossetia. Putin said his defense officials had told him it was done to benefit a presidential candidate -- Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama are competing to succeed George W. Bush -- although he presented no evidence to back it up.Putin accuses US of of orchestrating Georgia war
It drives me shit house that I agree with the "enemy" As U.S. and Russian envoys exchanged sharp words on Thursday over Iraq and Kosovo at a U.N. Security Council meeting on Georgia, at which Russia found little support for its actions in the Caucasus. US and Russia trade barbs over Iraq and Kosovo

What a surprise that Russia was lobbying Asian Nations for support against the US and just at the right time to make China stay on our side Iraq and China signed a $3 billion deal this week to develop a large Iraqi oil field, the first major commercial oil contract here with a foreign company since the 2003 U.S.-led invasion. The 20-year agreement calls for the state-owned China National Petroleum Corp. to begin producing 25,000 barrels of oil a day and gradually increase the output to 125,000 a day, said Asim Jihad, a spokesman for the Iraqi Oil Ministry. Iraq and China sign $3 Billion oil contract

Knowing this should this surprise you? The United States said Thursday it is considering scrapping its civil nuclear agreement with Russia but there was no announcement at this time. The U.S. move came after Russia's recognition of the independence of Georgia's breakaway regions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. The United States has said the Russian recognition was "unacceptable." US considers scrapping nuclear agreement with Russia

* What the hell does all that tell you? I am happy to say that yes China's alliance may be bought but I now believe they will ally with us as I keep asserting and go against Russia in this just developing Forever war to shape the worlds future. I reiterate * With Both sides so firmly entrenched in redrawing the map in Europe thanks to Bush imposing his will for oil. This is just another small piece in the Forever War Bush has guaranteed for our future. You see what he has done in the middle east for oil causing division and Russia and the US both arming them to the teeth to fight this Bush created future mess and it is coming to a head rapidly and at the perfect time for Bush to take total control of our facade of Democracy to prosecute the lie we are living!

This will just feed the just beginning Bush Forever War: Georgia's integrity, reconstruction to be Czech's prioritiy as Russia plans to redraw Europe!

There is Crisis in the caucuses thanks to Bush!

As US aid to Georgia upsets Russians! At this point nothing is going to be right and I don't trust us myself!

PRAGUE, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) -- The territorial integrity of Georgia and the country's reconstruction after the recent armed conflict with Russia will be the Czech government's priorities at the forthcoming EU summit on Georgia, Czech Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg said on Wednesday. What the hell can they do? The reconstruction plan should concern the whole territory of Georgia, including the breakaway regions of South Ossetia and Abkhasia whose independence Russia officially recognized on Tuesday, the Czech news agency CTK quoted Schwarzenberg as saying.

Russian troops entered Georgia in early August after Georgia tried to dominate its province South Ossetia by force. Schwarzenberg told journalists after a cabinet meeting that Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek received a relatively open mandate for the summit to be organized on Monday on the initiative of French President Nicolas Sarkozy. Topolanek said the summit would discuss long-term reconstruction of Georgia. The Czech Republic wants to earmark 150million crowns (about 8.9 million U.S. dollars) for it in the next three years, according to CTK. EU Affairs Minister Alexandr Vondra said the Czech EU presidency, lasting from January till June 2009, will certainly deal with the conflict, CTK said. Georgia's integrity Czech's priority

This is the perfect recipe for the Forever War Bush instigated and Guaranteed as Any doubts about why Russia invaded Georgia have now been erased. By illegally recognizing the Georgian territories of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, Dmitry Medvedev, Russia’s president, made clear that Moscow’s goal is to redraw the map of Europe using force. This war was never about South Ossetia or Georgia. Moscow is using its invasion, prepared over years, to rebuild its empire, seize greater control of Europe’s energy supplies and punish those who believed democracy could flourish on its borders. Europe has reason to worry. Thankfully, most of the international community has condemned the invasion and confirmed their unwavering support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. I don't know about thankfully? Russia is responding to Bush's instigation towards total war as expected what the hell is there to be thankful for?

Moscow says it invaded Georgia to protect its citizens in South Ossetia. Over the past five years it cynically laid the groundwork for this pretence, by illegally distributing passports in South Ossetia and Abkhazia, “manufacturing” Russian citizens to protect. The cynicism of Russia’s concern for ethnic minorities can be expressed in one word: Chechnya. Since Russia’s invasion, its forces have been “cleansing” Georgian villages in both regions – including outside the conflict zone – using arson, rape and execution. Human rights groups have documented these actions. Moscow has flipped the Kosovo precedent on its head: where the west acted to prevent ethnic cleansing, in Georgia ethnic cleansing is being used by Russia to consolidate its military annexation. Once again the issue has been totally confused so hidden agendas can be followed to all our demise. Doesn't Czech Poland Georgia and the rest of them realize they are screwed and for oil? WTF!

Russia’s campaign to redraw the map of Europe is based on the propagation of misinformation. On Wednesday on this page, Mr Medvedev asserted that Georgia attacked South Ossetia. In fact, our forces entered the conflict zone after Russia rolled its tanks on to our soil, passing through the Roki tunnel into South Ossetia, Georgia. Mr Medvedev also claimed Russia had no designs on our territory. Why then did it bomb and occupy Georgian cities such as Gori? Why does it continue to occupy our strategic port of Poti? The next step in Russia’s invasion script, of disinformation and annexation, is regime change. If Moscow can oust Georgia’s democratically elected government, it can then intimidate other democratic European governments. Where will this end? What we know about Russia, and especially the current regime, is not encouraging. Russia's plan to redraw the map of Europe

* With Both sides so firmly entrenched in redrawing the map in Europe thanks to Bush imposing his will for oil. !

Reading about Mussolini's opinion about Hitler and ensuing events so struck me as to the chief idiot what the world thinks of him...

Because Buchanon is right about so much and reading about Mussolini's opinion about Hitler and ensuing events so struck me as to the chief idiot what the world thinks of him and what is about to happen I thought I better post this!.

Pushing Russia Into the Cold
by Patrick J. Buchanan (more by this author)
Posted 08/26/2008 ET

A year after taking power, in June 1934, Adolf Hitler made his first visit abroad -- to his idol Benito Mussolini in Venice.

Babbling on incessantly about "Mein Kampf "and the Negroid strain in Mediterranean peoples, the Fuhrer made a dismal impression.

"What a clown this Hitler is," Mussolini told an aide.

Two weeks later, Hitler executed the Roehm purge and murdered scores of old Stormtrooper comrades. In late July, Austrian Nazis, attempting a coup, assassinated Chancellor Engelbert Dollfuss, a friend of Mussolini whose wife and child were then his guests.

Il Duce ordered four divisions to the Brenner Pass and flew to Vienna to vent his rage and disgust with Hitler. He called a summit at Stresa with Britain and France to agree on military action should Hitler make any new move in violation of Versailles.

At the time, however, Il Duce was also plotting revenge on Abyssinia for a bloody border clash with Italian Somaliland.

Mussolini thought his Allies would understand if he invaded the Ogaden to add an African colony to his new Roman Empire, just as the British and French had so often done in previous decades.

Mussolini miscalculated. Morally outraged, Britain and France went before the League of Nations and had sanctions imposed on Italy that were too weak to defeat her but punitive enough to insult her.

Friendless, isolated and condemned as an aggressor by Europe, Italy and Mussolini had nowhere to turn now but Hitler's Germany.

Thus, over the fate of an Abyssinian slave empire, Britain drove her faithful World War I ally into the arms of a Nazi dictator Mussolini loathed and had wished to confront beside Britain. And Abyssinia was overrun.

Are we making the same mistake in the Caucasus?

Mikheil Saakashvili started this war with his barrage attack and occupation of South Ossetia. Russia's war of retribution was far less violent or excessive than the U.S. bombing of Serbia for 78 days over Kosovo, or our unprovoked war on Saddam Hussein's Iraq, which has brought death to scores of thousands, or Israel's 35 days of bombing of Lebanon for a border skirmish with Hezbollah.

Yet, declared John McCain of Russia, "In the 21st century, nations don't invade other nations." Even Dick Cheney must have guffawed.

Russia must get out now, adds Bush, for South Ossetia and Abkhazia belong to a sovereign Georgia. But when did Bush demand that Israel get off the Golan Heights or withdraw from the birthplace of Jesus, which Israelis have occupied for 41 years, as he demands that Russia get out of the birthplace of Joseph Stalin, which Russia has occupied for two weeks?

As Israel was provoked in 1967, so, too, was Russia provoked.

Russians died in Saakashvili's attack, as American died in Pancho Villa's raid on New Mexico in 1916. We sent "Black Jack" Pershing, future Gen. George Patton and a U.S. army 300 miles into Mexico to kill Villa. Was this proportionate?

If we proceed on a course of isolating Russia from the West, keeping her out of the World Trade Organization, throwing her out of the G-8 and ending cooperation with NATO, where do we think Russia will go? Where did Il Duce go, when he was excommunicated from the West?

Condi Rice compares Vladimir Putin's action in Georgia to Leonid Brezhnev's crushing of the Prague Spring in 1968. She raced to Warsaw to ink a deal to put 10 anti-missile missiles and U.S. Patriot missiles manned by Americans into Poland.

Does the Stanford provost have any idea where the end of this road lies, upon which she and Bush have started the United States?

What do we do if Russia responds to our Patriots in Poland with the Russian S-300 anti-aircraft system in Iran and Syria?

If the United States intends to bring Georgia and Ukraine into NATO and arm them to fight Russia, why should Russia not dissolve the Treaty on Conventional Forces in Europe and move her tank armies into Belarus and up to the borders of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania?

Would we send U.S. troops into the Baltic republics to signal that we will fight Russia to honor our NATO war guarantees? Which NATO allies would fight alongside us against a nuclear-armed Russia?

If we bring Ukraine into NATO, what do we do if Russified east Ukraine secedes and Russia sends troops to back the rebels? Do we send warships into Russia's bathtub, the Black Sea, and commit to fight as long as it takes to restore Ukraine's territorial integrity?

In March 1939, Britain pledged to declare war and fight Germany to the death to guarantee the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Poland. How did that one turn out for Britain and Poland?

Before we start down the road of isolating and encircling Russia with weak NATO allies, let us think through Gen. Petraeus' question in 2003 about Iraq, "Tell me, how does this thing end?"

But, then, these folks never seem to think anything through.

* I have been getting updates today from Danny I am really glad to see. I am glad someone of consequence is on top of events at least somewhat! I decided to post this instead of many other happenings because Buchanon is right about so much and reading about Mussolini's opinion about Hitler and ensuing events so struck me as to the chief idiot what the world thinks of him and what is about to happen. I hate to tell you Pat this has all been done on purpose including this drive to a major world population decreasing Forever War and it is coming to a head at the perfect time for Bush to take control! Watch!

How much more can we take on? Pakistan's rapid decline to chaos reminds me why we have 5 aircraft carrier Battle Groups in the Gulf!

How much more can we take on? Pakistan's rapid decline to chaos reminds me why we have 5 aircraft carrier Battle Groups in the Gulf if not to go after Iran they are there for Pakistan!

First: Pakistan coalition is close to collapse! Remember the nukes and the Islamists!

Pakistan's political turmoil deepened Tuesday after the two main parties in the ruling coalition split, weakening the fragile government just a week after president Pervez Musharraf resigned. The world's only nuclear-armed Islamic nation, already facing a fresh campaign of bombings by a resurgent militant movement, now faces the prospect of a bitter political battle over the choice of Musharraf's successor.Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif pulled his party out of the coalition on Monday, saying they were moving to the opposition because of what he said were the broken promises of the other main party's leader, Asif Ali Zardari. He said Zardari had gone back on a pledge to reinstate dozens of judges sacked last year by Musharraf -- an issue that has been at the centre of a political dispute in Pakistan for the past year.

"We have taken this decision after we failed to find any ray of hope and none of the commitments made to us were fulfilled," Sharif said Monday. "This situation forced us to withdraw our support." Zardari, in a televised address late Monday, appealed for Sharif's return to the government. "We are sad over Nawaz Sharif's decision. We want to move together and solve the problems facing the nation," he said. "We will request Nawaz Sharif to return to the government." Meanwhile, Pakistani stocks reacted negatively over the break up and slumped four percent on Tuesday. The benchmark Karachi Stock Exchange KSE-100 Index finished down 383.37 points to close at 9,430.29. Lawyers meanwhile called for a nationwide protest on Thursday to demand the reinstatement of the judges, who were pushed out as Musharraf purged his opponents in the judiciary.

Sharif's PML-N party has put forward a candidate to challenge Zardari, widower of another former premier, Benazir Bhutto, on September 6, when lawmakers will select who will be the country's next president. Zardari and the PML-N candidate, former judge Saeed uz Zaman Siddiqui, will face off against the party formerly behind Musharraf, which has nominated its secretary general, Mushahid Hussain. Political chaos is nothing new in Pakistan, which has been under military rule -- including under General Musharraf -- for more than half of its existence since being partitioned from India after World War II. But the months of turmoil that eventually forced Musharraf to resign last week under threat of impeachment, and the new split between Sharif and Zardari, have made Western allies jittery about Pakistan's role in the "war on terror." The United States, which turned Musharraf into an ally after the September 11 attacks and has supplied the country with tens of billions of dollars in aid since then, played down the importance of the split. Will Growing violence force our hand?

* How much more can we take on? As we watch the situation with Russia worsening every day with Russia saying the break away regions will be recognized by them and defended as Kosovo was by Bush. As we watch Bush push forward his war creating MDS in Poland and Czech with Russia countering with like deals in Syria and Jordan. We remember that Bush has given $20 Billion in arms and advanced weaponry to Saudi Arabia and other so called allies over there.

It reaffirms something I said 2 years ago now and that was that Bush was arming the middle east to do the fighting for him on the ground. Meanwhile our now 5 aircraft Carrier Battle Groups in the Gulf are in a position to attack Iran and at the same time provide a large military response to Pakistan if needed without any significant increase of military personnel. Knowing that this entire world and US mess has been fabricated and instigated by Bush or whoever is behind the mindless worm is just beginning and at the perfect time for Bush or whoever to take total control of us and prosecute this Forever War. Knowing as we discussed yesterday that we are sending severely wounded back into combat because they are needed. Knowing the country is now emotionally and financially strapped thanks to Bush. I have to ask How much more can we take on? What is the Breaking point? What the hell is next?

This Forever War is just beginning so a story on sending our severely wounded back into Combat! When will we ever learn? What is the future?

Peter Paul and Mary when will they ever learn, Where have all the flowers gone?

Please listen To Where have all the Flowers Gone? I call the song When will they ever learn! As I put the story together of arming the world to the teeth by Russia and the US as we guarantee Forever war to continue to send our broken soldiers into!Oh when will they ever learn? Sadly never!

Once again I set out to discuss the race to war around Russia and the arming of the world by Russia and the US as Russia makes missile and rocket deals with Syria and Jordan which surprised me. Thinking of the many developing facets of this developing Forever War I went full circle in my thought process when I saw the story of sending our Broken soldiers back into combat. It led me to thinking of Peter Paul and Mary, Where have all the flowers gone! I listened to it wondering when will they ever learn? Knowing Bush is sending severely wounded soldiers back into combat and that this Forever war is just beginning I thought I would focus on sending our walking wounded back into combat!

The battle within
Soldiers who struggle with pained bodies or troubled minds still get deployed, sometimes on crutches or antidepressants, by an Army pressed to fill the ranks in Iraq and Afghanistan. In the weeks before Christmas last year, a brigade of battle-bruised soldiers left Colorado's Fort Carson for its third round of war in Iraq. Sgt. Colin Barton was getting Botox shots in his forehead to kill the relentless pain from a brain injury. Army doctors said he should not wear a helmet — a safety requirement for the flight to Iraq. The Army sent him anyway. Sgt. Joshua Rackley, recovering from his eighth knee surgery, was classified as permanently injured. The Army sent him anyway.

Master Sgt. Denny Nelson and Sgt. Joseph Smith didn't have time to recover from predeployment surgeries. Nelson hobbled with crutches; Smith wore a post-surgical boot. Sgt. Tim Graham brought a sleep-apnea machine. Sgt. 1st Class Walter Overton had a shoulder injury and couldn't lift his gear. Spec. Joseph Leon was popping morphine pills to dull the nerve damage to his groin. The Army sent them too. Five years into the war in Iraq and six years after the invasion of Afghanistan, the Army is sending soldiers with physical and mental injuries back to war, at times overruling physicians' classifications of soldiers as "nondeployable."

Facing demands unprecedented in the history of the all-volunteer force, the Army has deployed soldiers with slings and crutches and some who need machines to help keep them alive through the night. Thousands are taking pain, sleep or antidepressant medication, with sometimes deadly consequences. The pressure to send marginal soldiers grew with the "surge" of troops to Iraq in January 2007, an effort that Army leaders say has succeeded in stabilizing the nation's government and reducing sectarian violence. Yet from the onset of the Iraq war, deployment pressures have been evident. An Armed Forces Health Surveillance Center analysis shows that 43,000 service members — two-thirds of them in the Army or Army Reserve — were classified as nondeployable for medical reasons three months before they deployed anyway. Multiple tours take their toll: Some soldiers who discussed their cases with The Post requested anonymity, fearing retribution, but their accounts were corroborated through Army records, interviews, observations or medical records that they or their families provided. It gets worse please read it
* Knowing this is just geginning and still just taking shape and that sadly we will never learn I have to wonder about the future?

Martial Law: Dr. Jerome Corsi and executive order 51 giving Bush total Dictatorial control! He can Declare an emergency on his own, it's coming soon!

I was going to discuss the rapidly approaching Forever war with Russia making rocket deals with Jordan and Syria along with the explosion in Georgia derailing ten train cars due to a Russian mine and one of our Battle ships armed to the teeth arriving in the Black Sea with Emergancy supplies. However once again I have to digress as I was sent something very ominous last night!

Hi there James,

I like your writing very much. I Exited the USA in July of 2007. Man things are so
much worse now, true or true?

If I can ever be of help to you let me know.

You can check out my You Tube channel at:

http://nz.youtube.com/afteramerica

Need anything let me know.

Dr. Jerome Corsi and executive order 51 giving Bush total Dictatorial control! He can Declare an emergency on his own and it is coming soon!

For those of you who wonder what happened to America, we have been been told in plain view through Hollywood Movies over the past 50 years of what is coming.

The free press is dead in America and now with only "free speech zones," it is a matter of time before Martial Law is declared.

You know in your heart where you need to move, it's time.

We create whatever reality that we want.

In choosing Biden as VP Obama picks assassination Insurance and guarantees a third stolen election!

Obama taps Biden as running mate and assassination Insurance!

Back on July 8th I did a story on Obama's plane incident that was called nothing because it was something and I expected it a convenient way to get Obama out of the way. As in JFK, MLK, and RFK, I believed 100% that this was done by the right to keep their agenda moving forward. Knowing the deployment of the emergency chute in mid flight does not happen and that this was a last minute replacement plane this was no coincidence. Then we hear this! Control tower tapes reveal that the pilot of presidential hopeful Barack Obama's plane told air traffic controllers there was an emergency when he made an unscheduled landing last month in St. Louis, Missouri.

According to the tapes, the pilot told an FAA air traffic controller that he had limited ability to move the plane's nose up and down. "We have limited pitch authority at flight levels; we're descending to see if we can regain pitch authority," the pilot told the air traffic controller. "At this time we would like to declare this an emergency and also have CFR (fire and rescue equipment) standing by in St. Louis," the pilot said. The pilot remained calm throughout the recording.Midwest Airlines acknowledged at the time that the pilot had detected a control problem in the pitch of the plane after an emergency evacuation chute opened in the aircraft's tail cone while in flight. Normally, the chute deploys only after landing and after the tail cone pops off.

The pitch, or angle of the nose of an airplane, affects the pilot's ability to control the plane. The airline said the pilot had "full authority of the aircraft." According to the tapes, the pilot said he regained control as the plane began to descend into St. Louis. "We had a pitch authority problem, now that we have come down to a lower altitude it seems to have rectified itself. We do have pitch control of the aircraft at this time," he said. Fire trucks met the aircraft when it landed at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. After the plane landed, Obama told reporters the plane landed because of a mechanical problem and noted it marked the first time he had had to do so. Pilot says Obama landing was an emergency

* I do not care what they say! That was an assassination attempt! There have been too many "accidents" and "suicides" of people against the right and trying to expose the truth. I believe unequivocably that today Obama took out Assassination insurance and guaranteed another stolen election! Barack has chosen Biden as his Veep thus giving him the experience he has constantly been accused of not having by McAssHole! Throughout Barack Obama's search for a running mate, Joe Biden has always been hiding in plain sight, a man who appears supremely qualified to be vice president of the United States.

Biden has been on the national stage so long that he was able to mount two credible runs for the presidency himself an amazing 20 years apart, in 1988 and 2008. He has served as chairman of both the Judiciary Committee and the Foreign Relations Committee, traveling the globe to meet world leaders and to be directly involved in almost every major international and domestic debate of the last two generations. He has excelled as both a speaker and a debater. His Irish-Catholic heritage makes him a demographic dream in appealing to swing voters. He is both a Washington insider and a hero to working-class Americans and labor union leaders, in part because of his rhetoric, but also because of his own middle class upbringing. He has mastered the art of the network Sunday show television appearance as well as the classic vice-presidential skill of savagely attacking his political opponents with both a smile and the use of casual, kitchen-table idioms. Biden pros and cons

* Yes Joe has a tendency to foam at the mouth but I believe that can be controlled! The right is already using Biden's words saying Obama is not ready to be President against him and Obama but if the Democrat's had half a brain amongst them they would already have turned the tables on the Republicans as they would do to Democrats! Obama should be saying you Republicans are slow! Biden now knows I have what it takes ande has gotten behind me. You better too if you want a future! What Obama has done has taken out life Insurance and I now believe the election that is a runaway being termed too close to call so it can be stolen a third time will be! The alternatives are much worse! There is no way in hell I can see the Right quitting their agenda or allowing the Presidents abusive power in Democrats hands. no way! what is going to happen next?

I keep saying we are living a lie! It is all about the oil! Bingo! It is fact! Russian oilmen Putin and Medvedev vs. US oilmen Bush Cheney!

I am a bit slow to catch on sometimes but I eventually get it! First a brush up if needed: We are once again being lied to and controlled by Bush and MSM this time in regard to Georgia! It is all about oil. Everything! Let us review some distasteful facts: Remember pre 9/11 on April 4, 2001, representatives of 13 environmental groups were brought into the Old Executive Office Building for a long-anticipated meeting. Since late January, a task force headed by Vice President Cheney had been busy drawing up a new national energy policy, and the groups were getting their one chance to be heard.

A confidential list prepared by the Bush administration shows that Cheney and his aides had already held at least 40 meetings with interest groups, most of them from energy-producing industries.By the time of the meeting with environmental groups, according to a former White House official who provided the list to The Washington Post, the initial draft of the task force was substantially complete and President Bush had been briefed on its progress. One of the first visitors, on Feb. 14, was James J. Rouse, then vice president of Exxon Mobil and a major donor to the Bush inauguration; a week later, longtime Bush supporter Kenneth L. Lay, then head of Enron Corp., came by for the first of two meetings.

The list of participants' names and when they met with administration officials provides a clearer picture of the task force's priorities and bolsters previous reports that the review leaned heavily on oil and gas companies and on trade groups -- many of them big contributors to the Bush campaign and the Republican Party. But while it clears up much of the lingering uncertainty about who was granted access to present energy policy views to Cheney's staff, it does not entirely explain why the Bush administration fought so hard to keep it and other as-yet-unreleased internal memos secret. Contacted over the past week, several people who met with the task force's staff described their meetings as part of a normal "interagency" review of major domestic policy and expressed bewilderment that the White House and Cheney labored to keep the deliberations out of the public eye."I never knew why they fought so hard to keep it secret," said Charles A. Samuels, outside counsel to the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers, Remember the secret oil meetings in 2001?

You are learning the hard way why! This is stunning and too true! This is Part Two of a two-part series: During the final months of the Clinton administration, the Taliban was officially a rogue regime. After nearly a decade of fierce competition between the US-supported Unocal-CentGas consortium and Bridas of Argentina, neither company had secured a deal for a trans-Afghanistan pipeline. Immediately upon seizing the White House, George W. Bush resumed relations with the Taliban. Bush stocked his cabinet with figures from the energy industry with long-time ties to Central Asia (including Dick Cheney of Halliburton, Richard Armitage of Unocal, Condoleeza Rice of Chevron), and rode into office on the largesse of corporations with vested interests in the region (Enron). Suddenly, the prospects for a trans-Afghanistan oil and gas pipeline that would help ensure American dominance of Eurasia, described by Zbigniew Brezezinski as "The Grand Chessboard," began to improve.

The Bush family's involvement in the Middle East and Central Asian oil politics, and its deep ties to the Saudi royal and bin Laden families, span generations. Throughout his oil-soaked tenure as governor of Texas, George W. Bush colluded on a daily basis with oil and power companies, including Enron. In light of his close personal relationship with Enron CEO Ken Lay, it is reasonable to assume that Bush was aware of the company's Central Asian aspirations. Among Enron's many projects in the region was the Unocal pipeline, for which Enron did feasibility studies. (One recently unearthed letter between Lay and Bush on Central Asian projects can be found at: http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/bushlay12.shtml) In their book "Bin Laden: The Forbidden Truth," intelligence authorities Jean-Charles Brisard and Guillaume Dasquie believe that Bush's primary goal was to consolidate the position of the Taliban in order to secure US access to the oil and gas reserves in Central Asia. According to Brisard and Dasquie, Bush viewed the Taliban as " a source of stability in Central Asia that would enable the construction of an oil pipeline across Central Asia," from the rich oil fields in Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan, through Afghanistan and Pakistan, to the Indian Ocean.

"According to Brisard and Dasquie, and an investigation by journalist Greg Palast, Bush also blocked secret service and FBI investigations on terrorism, while bargaining with the Taliban for the delivery of Osama bin Laden in exchange for political recognition and economic aid. Bush administration and Taliban officials met several times in Washington, Berlin and Islamabad. Each time, the Taliban refused Bush's conditions. The last meeting took place in August 2001. Central Asian affairs representative Christina Rocca and a coterie of State Department officials voiced disgust and issued a threat to the Taliban ambassador: "Accept our offer of a carpet of gold, or we bury you under a carpet of bombs." Bush promptly informed Pakistan and India that the US would launch a military mission against Afghanistan before the end of October. Weeks later, under questionable circumstances, jetliners would crash into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania, killing some 2,000 Americans. The ensuing war on Afghanistan, and the "war on terrorism," would claim the lives of more than 5,000 Afghans, scatter (but not destroy) the Taliban and send Osama bin Laden and his Al-Queda network into hiding. Please read and also learn why JFK was assassinated
US oil Companies wooed the Taliban

* This will tell you the nightmare we have before us! I keep saying it is all about the oil and energy as the world jockey's for position as we "hopefully" moved into the future but it just dawned on me last night that oil does run the country but oil runs Russia too! US, Russia and Georgia: All About Oil! In commenting on the war in the Caucasus, most American analysts have tended to see it as a throwback to the past: as a continuation of a centuries-old blood feud between Russians and Georgians, or, at best, as part of the unfinished business of the Cold War. Many have spoken of Russia's desire to erase the national "humiliation" it experienced with the collapse of the Soviet Union 16 years ago, or to restore its historic "sphere of influence" over the lands to its South. But the conflict is more about the future than the past. It stems from an intense geopolitical contest over the flow of Caspian Sea energy to markets in the West. President Clinton sponsored the construction of an alternative pipeline from Baku in Azerbaijan to Tbilisi in Georgia and then onward to Ceyhan on Turkey's Mediterranean coast -- the BTC pipeline, as it is known today. The BTC pipeline, which began operation in 2006, passes some of the most unsettled areas of the world, including Chechnya and Georgia's two breakaway provinces of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

With this in mind, the Clinton and Bush administrations provided Georgia with hundreds of millions of dollars in military aid, making it the leading recipient of U.S. arms and equipment in the former Soviet space. Ever since Vladimir Putin assumed the presidency in 2000, Moscow has sought to use its pivotal role in the supply of oil and natural gas to Western Europe and the former Soviet republics as a source both of financial wealth and political advantage. It mainly relies on Russia's own energy resources for this purpose, but also seeks to dominate the delivery of oil and gas from the Caspian states to the West. To further its goals in the Caspian, Putin and his protégé Dmitry Medvedev -- until recently the chairman of Gazprom, the Russian state gas monopoly -- have enticed (or browbeaten) the leaders of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan into building new gas pipelines through Russia to Europe.

It is against this backdrop that the fighting in Georgia and South Ossetia has been taking place. The Georgians may only be interested in regaining control over an area they consider part of their national territory. But the Russians are sending a message to the rest of the world that they intend to keep their hands on the Caspian Sea energy spigot, come what may. This doesn't necessarily mean occupying Georgia outright, but they will certainly retain their strategic positions in Abkhazia and South Ossetia -- for all practical purposes, daggers aimed at the BTC jugular. So even if a cease-fire is put into effect, the struggle over energy resources -- sometimes hidden and stealthy, sometimes open and violent -- will continue long into the future. please read between the lines

The race to Bush's Forever War: Russia to cut Military ties to NATO warn of military response to MDS as Pakistan continues to explode!

Destructive updates and videos Below First a recap: The US has absolutely no political or moral standing to denounce Russia or anyone else for deploying military force. Washington asserts an unlimited and unilateral right to mobilize its massive apparatus of military violence wherever and whenever it wishes, spreading death and destruction from the Persian Gulf to Central Asia and threatening even more bloody conflagrations. In the current conflict, the US government and media have cast Russia as the aggressor. There is no progressive content to Moscow’s actions in Georgia. They are motivated by the predatory aims of the Russian ruling elite, which is intent on reasserting Russian control over territories on its border that it dominated for centuries. However, the eruption of war in the Caucasus is the outcome of a policy pursued by US imperialism since the breakup of the Soviet Union whose ultimate aim is the reduction of Russia to a semi-colonial status.

It is inconceivable that Washington was not intimately involved in the preparations for Georgia’s attack on South Ossetia. US military advisers virtually run the military of what Washington considers its key ally in the Caucasus, a strategically critical bridgehead between the oil-rich Caspian Basin and Western Europe. Just one month ago Secretary of State Rice visited Tbilisi and reaffirmed US support for Georgia’s admission to NATO, a development which Russia considers an intolerable threat to its security. Rice’s visit was followed by a massive three-week military training exercise, in which 1,000 US troops participated. The incendiary measures announced by Bush on Wednesday represent the response of American imperialism to the major setback it has suffered as a result of Russia’s military intervention in Georgia. There is great concern within the US ruling elite that Russia’s routing of Georgia will undermine Washington’s drive to displace Russia from Moscow’s former spheres of influence in Eastern Europe and Central Asia and establish American hegemony over the Eurasian land mass. US policy makers worry that the example of Georgia will weaken US control over right-wing client regimes it has established in a whole number of countries that were either part of the Soviet Union, such as Georgia and Ukraine, or allied to the Soviet Union through the Warsaw Pact.

A pattern of provocation: From the dissolution of the USSR in 1991 to the present, the United States has carried out a policy of militarily encircling Russia and surrounding it with hostile states dependent upon and subservient to Washington. As the USSR was disintegrating, the United States launched its first war against Iraq, a key ally of the Soviet Union in the Middle East. During the 1990s, the US and Western Europe sponsored the dismemberment of Yugoslavia in order to isolate and weaken the Russian ally Serbia. In 1998, the US spearheaded the incorporation into NATO, the US-dominated military alliance, of a whole number of newly independent states that had been either part of the Soviet Union or allied to it through the Warsaw Pact, including Estonia, Latvia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Bulgaria. Please read the complete report

Now, Bush thinks France and the world are on his side as he instigates his Forever War but look at this! So how did the crisis in Georgia really come about? Many Europeans believe that the events of the past week can be traced back to the recognition of Kosovo - which was also a clear violation of international law - and which the Russians have skillfully turned to their own advantage. For France’s Le Figaro newspaper, Renaud Girard writes in part:

“Twenty years after being eclipsed by what was called the American ‘hyper power,’ we are witnessing the Russian Bear’s big comeback to the international scene. The Western diplomatic ballet now trying to temper the violence of the Russian reaction to Georgian President Saakachvili’s forceful blow against Southern Ossetia last Thursday will change nothing. … Naively, Saakachvili believed that having international law on his side was enough to enable him to use force. The problem is that his Western friends have just precisely violated these very rules, by unilaterally recognizing Kosovo’s independence … In Brussels earlier this year, Russian Foreign minister Lavrov solemnly warned his American counterpart Condi Rice: the recognition of Kosovo would set a precedent for Abkhazia and South Ossetia. The Americans and their major European allies were mistaken not take him seriously.”

By Renaud Girard Translated By Nicolas Dagher August 12, 2008 France - French - Original Article (French) Twenty years after being eclipsed by what was called the American “hyper power,” we are seeing the big comeback of the Russian Bear to the international scene. The Western diplomatic ballet now trying to temper the violence of the Russian reaction to Georgian President Saakachvili’s forceful blow against Southern Ossetia last Thursday will change nothing. Not only this but the Ukraine is getting involved! Ukraine's military pledged on Thursday to carry out orders issued by the president obliging Russia's Black Sea Fleet to seek official permission for its movements. "There is a presidential decree and it will, naturally, be implemented. I guarantee that we will do everything to ensure the president's decree is carried out," Chief of Ukraine's General Staff Sergei Kyrychenko told a press briefing. President Viktor Yushchenko issued a decree on Wednesday requiring Russian naval vessels to request permission 10 days in advance before returning to the Ukrainian port of Sevastopol. Russia's defense ministry quickly denounced it as "not serious." The move ratcheted up tensions between Russia and Ukraine, which has given political support to Tbilisi during Russia's military conflict with Georgia. Russia has maintained its Black Sea fleet base in Sevastopol since the 1991 Soviet collapse and the current Russian lease on the facility expires in 2017.

Also to really instigate this war Poland and the United States will sign a preliminary deal to place part of a U.S. ballistic missile defense system in Poland -- a plan that has drawn sharp objections from Russia, the Polish president's office confirmed Thursday to CNN. The Bush administration has long pushed to base missile interceptors in Poland. The interceptor rockets would be linked to an air-defense radar system in the Czech Republic, whose officials agreed in April to take part in the system. Both countries are former Soviet satellites but now are members of the U.S.-led NATO alliance. The United States' plans to base the anti-missile system in Eastern Europe have raised alarms in Russia.

Moscow has mounted serious opposition to the missile shield plan, although the United States has insisted it is designed to counter threats from the Middle East and is not an aggressive move against Russia. The United States has also agreed to help Poland modernize its military, which it requested as a condition of its support for housing the missile defense system. Thursday's agreement comes amid heightened tensions between the United States and Russia over Moscow's invasion of Georgia, a U.S. ally Read last weeks update on Bush's Forever War coming to a head

Now Todays updates:
Hypocrisy: Despite Rice's BS and saying Russia has lost credibility Russia hints at military respnse over Poland!

Then announce Russia to cut military ties with NATO!

not only do we now have 5 carrier Battle Groups in the Gulf as we antagonize Iran but Pakistan is degenerating rapidly as Suicide blasts kill 57 at Pakistan arms factory

* None of this will be turned around! Because of the lie we are living since Bush This will all only end one way and one can only wonder what will be left after? There will be war with Iran. There will be war with Russia. There will be World War. There will be a "Forever War" They are al long instigated and necessary to Bush's forever war and declaring martial law. Remember the "denied" North American Union between the US, Canada, and Mexico? The North American corridor connecting them? Rumor of A new monetary system to replace the dollar? Yes it is all long in the works and coming to a head perfectly for Bush. There is no coincidence or surprise here just denial per usual until it all becomes undeniable fact!

Between life long politician and grassroots activist my friend 91 year old Jerome and me the humanist on China! Making it?

7,000 years old old Beijing's Hutongs disappearing under force! This is part of making it?

This is right but You have to ask yourself if that is making it and "arriving" what does that say? We don't stand for much do we? What about the future?
The Chinese Olympic and Humiliation By Jerome Grossman The Relentless Liberal

For China the Olympics are a demonstration of the ascendancy of the host nation -from historic international humiliation “to the gate of greatness.” The Chinese investment was enormous, $40 billion, 10 times the amount spent by any country in previous Olympics. Large sections of Beijing were refitted; enormous efforts tried to control and minimize pollution; the city was beautified in its buildings and public art; every effort was made to make housing and accommodations and entertainment pleasant for foreign guests. The organization and precision of the opening ceremonies stunned the entire world.

The Chinese were out to prove that their system of capitalist authoritarianism is a success, with national goals that their Gross Domestic Product will surpass the United States by 2025 and that they will dominate the 21st century as America dominated the 20th.

But the Chinese are careful not to threaten the US, their best customer. Their emphasis is on economic primacy, not military, not interventionist. While they have modernized the military establishment, they have not built their capacity to a threatening level. For example, their nuclear arsenal has only about 200 capable of reaching the US while the US has 10,000 capable of reaching China and an armed American fleet regularly prowls the Western Pacific.

The Chinese have serious problems that may prevent realization of national goals: too many people to be adequately supported, especially the elderly beneficiaries of the health system, who must be supported in retirement; unrest among the workers as inequality of income grows; an overrated economy not yet capable of using all modern technology; environmental problems that affect the health of all Chinese; rejection of the state ideology by some members of the intellectual and underprivileged classes.

However, all Chinese are united in hosting the Olympics as a demonstration that the humiliating legacy of the domination by foreigners has ended. The humiliation began with China's defeat in the Opium Wars in the 19th century; continued when the 1919 Treaty of Versailles allotted port concessions to European governments to profit from goods entering and exiting China; the treatment of Chinese laborers in the US; the Japanese invasion of Manchuria and China proper; the British seizure of Hong Kong; the Portuguese control Macao; the separation of Taiwan, etc. etc..

The Chinese want the world to know that those days are over. In 2001, the National People's Congress passed a law establishing a National Humiliation Day. The leaders, past and present, of all parties and factions scorned the humiliating insults to the Chinese people, the yoke, the suffering, uniting such diverse political figures and Sun Yatsen, Chiang Kai-shek and Mao Ze Dong.

So the Chinese Olympics are much more than a series of pageants and athletic contests. They are an emotional, national, prideful statement: we have arrived; there will be no more humiliation.

That was well put! I was going to answer you earlier and maybe do a story on it but too much is happening to fast now that has to be covered. Anyway I have thought about this too in the past. Just think!

* They took over a million cars off the road and closed factories down for the Olympics to try and clear the air a bit!
* They confiscated 300 Bibles from Christians!
* At least 3 women gymnast were found to be 14 years old or less making them illegal!
* One landed on her knees and still was awarded the gold ahead of the American.
* Nastia Liukin was totally tied in points with the girl from China making that suspect too!
* There were three parks set aside for protests and what a surprise, no protesters! They held those that applied for permits until after the Olympics ended!
* People that would not sell their houses so they could be torn down as they did not look appealing were simply walled in so people could not see them!

* You have to ask yourself if that is making it and "arriving" what does that say? We don't stand for much do we? What about the future?

Georgia and Russia aside for a day as with Musharraf gone increasing violence in Pakistan and Afghanistan are another sign of things soon to come!

Leaders of Pakistan's ruling coalition were meeting Tuesday to discuss who will replace President Pervez Musharraf, who resigned Monday. For now, Mohammedmian Soomro, chairman of the senate, is acting as Pakistan's caretaker president, but he is not expected to retain the position. Many within the ruling coalition see him as a Musharraf loyalist, analysts say. The country's stock market and its currency rose after Musharraf stepped down on hopes that the nuclear-armed Islamic nation of 164 million was headed for political stability. Read this, it will never happen

To prove it there is increasing violence throughout Pakistan. The latest A bomb blast at a hospital in northwest Pakistan killed at least 23 people Tuesday, authorities said. Another 15 to 20 were injured. The explosion occurred near the emergency entrance to the Dera Ismail Khan District Hospital, said Malik Naveed, inspector general of police for the North West Frontier Province, where the district is located. The bomb went off while a crowd gathered outside the hospital to protest the shooting death of a Shi'ite Muslim leader, Naveed said. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the explosion, but police think a suicide bomber may have been involved.

The North West Frontier Province, near the country's border with Afghanistan, is rife with Islamic extremists. It has been the site of recent clashes between Pakistani security forces and militants. Watch what happened at hospital » In late June, the military launched an offensive in the area -- the biggest push against extremists in the tribal region since the civilian government took power in March. Islamic militants vowed to retaliate against the operation. This is political stability?

Pakistan is so stable About 100 insurgents ambushed a group of French parachutists, killing 10 soldiers in an area outside the capital known as a militant stronghold. In a separate coordinated attack, a team of homicide bombers tried unsuccessfully to storm a U.S. military base near the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. The death of the French soldiers marked the biggest single loss of life for international forces in combat in Afghanistan in more than three years, officials said Tuesday. "In its fight against terrorism, France has just been struck severely," French President Nicolas Sarkozy said in a statement.

But he added, "My determination remains intact. France is resolved to pursue the fight against terrorism, for democracy and liberty. The cause is just, it is the honor of France and its armies to defend it." The soldiers were on a reconnaissance mission in the Surobi district, an area known as a militant redoubt about 30 miles east of the Afghan capital. Qazi Suliman, the district chief in Surobi, said the ambush sparked a three-hour gunbattle. Sarkozy confirmed that 10 soldiers from the 8th infantry parachute regiment were killed and 21 wounded. It is the deadliest attack against international troops in Afghanistan since June 2005, when 16 American troops were killed in Kunar province when their helicopter was shot down by a rocket-propelled grenade. In July of this year nine U.S. troops died when insurgents attacked a base on the Kunar-Nuristan border in eastern Afghanistan.

In the attack on the U.S. base just a few miles from the border with Pakistan, militants failed to gain entry to Camp Salerno in Khost city after launching waves of attacks just before midnight on Monday, said Arsallah Jamal, the governor of Khost.A homicide bombing outside the same base on Monday killed 10 civilians and wounded 13 others. Ground forces, fighter aircraft and helicopters chased the retreating militants. NATO said its forces identified the attackers about 1,000 yards outside of the base perimeter and launched helicopter gunships. Gen. Mohammad Zahir Azimi, the Afghan Defense Ministry spokesman, said Afghan soldiers, aided by U.S. troops, chased and surrounded a group of insurgents, and that six militants blew themselves up when cornered. Seven other militants died in those explosions and a rolling gun battle, he said. "(The Afghan National Army) is saying that anytime we get close to them, they detonate themselves," Jamal said. On Monday, the top U.S. general in the region, Maj. Gen. Jeffrey J. Schloesser, issued a rare public warning that militants planned to attack civilian, military and government targets during the celebration of Independence Day on Monday. Wait until Monday

* I have said it before, as Bush claims victory in Iraq this is just beginning in Afghanistan. You can bet Russia is behind the scenes supplying arms and money to ensure we fail in Afghanistan as the US did to Russia. You know what they say about Payback? At the same time Russia is resurging thanks to Bush's instigation with the MDS and the NATOization of ex USSR countries. I heard this morning Rice say Russian fighters have been harassing US aircraft close to the US mainland. Oh man I just heard Russian troops are taking more American equipment and prisoners in Georgia as I speak. This in its entirety will not be resolved peacefully or soon as it is just beginning thanks to Bush and his Forever War!

have to agree with Gorbachev 1990 Peace prize recipient and author of Path to Peace Georgia is the aggressor and the US is wrong!

Russia says Wer'e Back!

Gorbachev with the "real" story on Georgia and Russia!

Georgia's Truth! This is from the region seems Russian and very sobering! All RU's and outside communication cancelled!

Rice says Russia must leave now it's not 1968! cut the crap and of course Russia agrees and says Nyet!

To prove it
Medvedev and Saakshavili sign two different versions of peace agreement! What the hell is that?

Russia's president said troops would begin pulling out of Georgia on Monday, after his military issued a flurry of conflicting reports about whether a withdrawal had begun. Russian tanks and soldiers continued to roam freely over a wide swath of the country and President Dmitry Medvedev made no mention of leaving South Ossetia, the separatist province at the heart of the 11-day military conflict between Russia and Georgia. Medvedev said the troops would pull back toward South Ossetia from positions deeper in Georgia, according to a Kremlin statement Sunday. Russia to withdfraw starting Monday?

* Only after they destroy Georgia's infrastructure and I still wouldn't expect it permanent. This is just beginning thanks to Bush's instigation. What is next?

Georgia, I.O.U.S.A. Tonights Debate between Obama and McCain with Rick Warren, and our growing Dead ocean! What the hell is next?

I was hoping events involving Russia and Georgia would slow down enough for me to discuss important happenings in the US. Things are moving so fast this is not to be. There is much to discuss today so I will give you the link to Yahoo news Russia There is so much happening so fast i implore you to take a moment and just gloss through the myriad of events and read more on the stories you are interested in!

I.O.U.S.A.: As gasoline, food and health care costs continue to rise, Americans are looking for solutions to the ever-growing financial challenges being faced today and in the future. I.O.U.S.A.: Live with Warren Buffett, Pete Peterson & Dave Walker addresses these challenges while offering solutions in a one-night-only, exclusive in-theatre event on Thursday, August 21st. Theatres across America will become community town halls as five of the nation’s most notable financial leaders and policy experts engage in a 45-minute LIVE panel discussion following the viewing of the acclaimed documentary “I.O.U.S.A.”

The critically-acclaimed “I.O.U.S.A.” documentary, directed by Patrick Creadon (“Wordplay”), follows the “Fiscal Wake-Up Tour” and tells the story of America’s four key deficits – budget, savings, balance of payments and leadership – and their implications for the nation and U.S. citizens. Americans are faced with an ever-expanding government and military, increased foreign competition, and financial obligations that will become ever more difficult to honor absent meaningful reforms. As 78 million baby boomers begin to retire and collect benefits from over-extended entitlement programs, an economic crisis of epic proportions awaits. Using candid interviews, archival footage and economic data, “I.O.U.S.A.” presents a vivid, alarming profile of America’s current financial status. The conclusion offers suggestions for how best to recreate a fiscally sound nation for future generations. Look at some clips atleast as the US is going broke

I wanted to focus on tonights Debate hosted by Rick Warren betyween Obama and McCain because Warren promised civillity and there is no way in hell McCain can be civil so I will be watching and I hope you at least take a glimpse! The Rev. Rick Warren, often called America's most influential pastor, will be hosting Sens. Barack Obama and John McCain for what's being called the civil forum on the presidency. The candidates will appear together at Warren's 20,000-member Saddleback mega-church in southern California where they each will be interviewed for an hour. we're going to look at four different segments. One is a segment on leadership. What is the personal character, competence, and experience of each of these guys. I am banking on the scum McCain screwing himself on every count

Lastly while the world is racing to worsen our living conditions exponentially with another world war we already know the declining Climatic conditions but Dead zones – areas of oxygen-depleted bottom waters – are spreading at an alarming rate in coastal waters, killing off huge amounts of marine life, a new study has found. In a paper published today in Science, Robert Diaz, a biological oceanographer at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, and Rutger Rosenberg, a marine ecologist at Sweden’s Göteborg University, identified more than 400 dead zones worldwide, affecting an area of more than 95,000 square miles, an area roughly the size of Oregon. The number and size of these dead zones are far greater than previously estimated.

While some dead zones occur naturally, many are caused or exacerbated by chemical fertilizer runoff, fossil fuels, and rain. The fertilizer, which is rich in nitrogen compounds, is washed away from farmlands into rivers and ends up in the ocean. Burning fossil fuels produces airborne nitrogen oxides, which the rain washes into the ocean. The nitrogen compounds feed massive algae blooms. When the algae dies, it sinks to the ocean floor where it is consumed by microbes, which also consume oxygen in the process. As the oxygen is depleted, creating a condition called hypoxia, marine life that can flee does, and life that cannot – some fish but also clams, crustaceans, and other bottom dwellers – die of asphyxiation. At that point, microbes that live in oxygen-free environments begin to thrive and produce hydrogen sulfide, a poisonous gas. Most dead zones are seasonal, as the algae thrives in warm water. According to the authors, the number of these dead zones has doubled every decade since the 1960s. These findings are not just bad news for sea creatures. Growing Marine Dead Zones

Bush's long instigated Forever War is out of control at the perfect time for Bush to Cancel elections, declare martial law, dictator for Life!

I wanted to discuss the upcoming Debate hosted by Rick warren Saturday between McCain and Obama. I hope you watch it but had to discuss Bush's long instigated rapidly growing out of control "Forever War"

The following report came from our friend Ingrid at Blogger roundtable This is only part of the whole as you will see further on but I thought I would include a good part of it and you can read the entire report below at the link. First:
In a major escalation of the conflict with Russia over Georgia, President George W. Bush on Wednesday announced a “vigorous and ongoing” deployment of US military forces to its key ally in the Caucasus. Bush appeared in the White House Rose Garden for the second time in three days, this time flanked by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Defense Secretary Robert Gates, and announced the military buildup, casting it as a humanitarian relief operation. Even as he spoke of a humanitarian mission, Bush made clear the military dimensions of the measures he was announcing. He said he was directing Pentagon chief Gates to lead the mission, which would be “headed by the United States military.” He announced that a C-17 military aircraft was already on its way to Georgia and that “in the days ahead we will use US aircraft, as well as naval forces, to deliver humanitarian and medical supplies.”

This is a formula for an injection of US military and naval forces into Georgia of indeterminate scope and duration. It will certainly involve the presence of hundreds if not thousands of uniformed US military personnel on the ground, and a substantial number of warships in the region. The US is introducing this military force into a situation that remains highly unstable and combustible, raising the possibility of a direct military clash between the United States and Russia. Bush spoke less than a day after Russia and Georgia had agreed provisionally to a cease-fire in their five-day war. The agreement had been brokered by French President Nicolas Sarkozy, acting on behalf of the European Union. Even as Bush spoke, Russia and Georgia were trading accusations of truce violations, and Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili was objecting to provisions of the agreement which, he claimed, failed to prevent the pro-Russian break-away republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia from seceding from Georgia. In his remarks, Bush issued an implicit threat against any attempt by Russia to interfere with Washington’s “humanitarian” operation. “We expect Russia to honor its commitment,” he said, “to let in all forms of humanitarian assistance. We expect Russia to ensure that all lines of communications and transport, including seaports, airports, roads and airspace, remain open for the delivery of humanitarian assistance and for civilian transit.” The US will pour military resources into Georgia to strengthen its hand against Russia, and denounce any objections by Moscow as an attack on humanitarian aid and a violation of the cease-fire agreement.

Within minutes of Bush’s Rose Garden statement, Saakashvili spelled out its essential meaning in a televised address from Tbilisi. “You have heard the statement by the US president that the United States is starting a military-humanitarian operation in Georgia,” he said. “It means that Georgian ports and airports will be taken under the control of the US defense ministry...” He went on to call Bush’s “relief” mission a “turning point,” and characterized its import as “definitely an American military presence.” Bush also announced that Rice would immediately travel to France to meet with Sarkozy and then go to Georgia. Employing the rhetoric of the Cold War, he said Rice would meet with Saakashvili and “continue our efforts to rally the free world in defense of a free Georgia.” He further threatened Russia with diplomatic and political sanctions, suggesting it might be excluded from the G-8 group of industrialized nations and prevented from joining the World Trade Organization.

Hypocrisy: Bush’s remarks were drenched with hypocrisy. He reiterated Washington’s support for Georgian control of the disputed territories of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, invoking once again the “sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.” Neither he nor any other American spokesperson has explained why Georgia’s use of murderous violence against South Ossetia in its indiscriminate shelling of the region’s capital city was a legitimate defense of “territorial integrity,” while Serbia’s use of force against Kosovan secessionists was a war crime. The US seized on Serbia’s moves against CIA-backed separatists in Kosovo to carry out a ten-week air war, under the auspices of NATO, in 1999. While Washington decries Russia’s “disproportionate” use of force against Georgian troops which attacked South Ossetia and condemns Moscow for military action beyond the borders of the breakaway republic, the US and NATO rained bombs and missiles on virtually all parts of Serbia, demolishing bridges, water pumping stations, electricity grids, government buildings, housing developments, schools and hospitals in the capital city of Belgrade. The US and NATO killed far more civilians in its campaign to crush Serbia, a traditional ally of Russia, than have been killed by both sides in the current fighting in the Caucasus.

The US has absolutely no political or moral standing to denounce Russia or anyone else for deploying military force.

Thursday's agreement comes amid heightened tensions between the United States and Russia over Moscow's invasion of Georgia, a U.S. ally

* Because of the lie we are living since Bush This will all only end one way and one can only wonder what will be left after? There will be war with Iran. There will be war with Russia. There will be World War. There will be a "Forever War" They are al long instigated and necessary to Bush's forever war and declaring martial law. Remember the "denied" North American Union between the US, Canada, and Mexico? The North American corridor connecting them? Rumor of A new monetary system to replace the dollar? Yes it is all long in the works and coming to a head perfectly for Bush. There is no coincidence or surprise here just denial per usual until it all becomes undeniable fact!
