America has sold its soul for oil! The lie we are living since this mis-Administration continues as we are on the wrong side again!

First a Forgotten US Presidential hopeful says Russia is not the aggressor and it is all about oil! Bingo! Honesty!

We are once again being lied to and controlled by Bush and MSM this time in regard to Georgia! It is all about oil. Everything! Let us review some distasteful facts: Remember pre 9/11 on April 4, 2001, representatives of 13 environmental groups were brought into the Old Executive Office Building for a long-anticipated meeting. Since late January, a task force headed by Vice President Cheney had been busy drawing up a new national energy policy, and the groups were getting their one chance to be heard. A confidential list prepared by the Bush administration shows that Cheney and his aides had already held at least 40 meetings with interest groups, most of them from energy-producing industries.

By the time of the meeting with environmental groups, according to a former White House official who provided the list to The Washington Post, the initial draft of the task force was substantially complete and President Bush had been briefed on its progress. One of the first visitors, on Feb. 14, was James J. Rouse, then vice president of Exxon Mobil and a major donor to the Bush inauguration; a week later, longtime Bush supporter Kenneth L. Lay, then head of Enron Corp., came by for the first of two meetings. The list of participants' names and when they met with administration officials provides a clearer picture of the task force's priorities and bolsters previous reports that the review leaned heavily on oil and gas companies and on trade groups -- many of them big contributors to the Bush campaign and the Republican Party.

But while it clears up much of the lingering uncertainty about who was granted access to present energy policy views to Cheney's staff, it does not entirely explain why the Bush administration fought so hard to keep it and other as-yet-unreleased internal memos secret. Contacted over the past week, several people who met with the task force's staff described their meetings as part of a normal "interagency" review of major domestic policy and expressed bewilderment that the White House and Cheney labored to keep the deliberations out of the public eye."I never knew why they fought so hard to keep it secret," said Charles A. Samuels, outside counsel to the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers, Remember the secret oil meetings in 2001?

You are learning the hard way why! This is stunning and too true! This is Part Two of a two-part series: During the final months of the Clinton administration, the Taliban was officially a rogue regime. After nearly a decade of fierce competition between the US-supported Unocal-CentGas consortium and Bridas of Argentina, neither company had secured a deal for a trans-Afghanistan pipeline. Immediately upon seizing the White House, George W. Bush resumed relations with the Taliban. Bush stocked his cabinet with figures from the energy industry with long-time ties to Central Asia (including Dick Cheney of Halliburton, Richard Armitage of Unocal, Condoleeza Rice of Chevron), and rode into office on the largesse of corporations with vested interests in the region (Enron). Suddenly, the prospects for a trans-Afghanistan oil and gas pipeline that would help ensure American dominance of Eurasia, described by Zbigniew Brezezinski as "The Grand Chessboard," began to improve.

The Bush family's involvement in the Middle East and Central Asian oil politics, and its deep ties to the Saudi royal and bin Laden families, span generations. Throughout his oil-soaked tenure as governor of Texas, George W. Bush colluded on a daily basis with oil and power companies, including Enron. In light of his close personal relationship with Enron CEO Ken Lay, it is reasonable to assume that Bush was aware of the company's Central Asian aspirations. Among Enron's many projects in the region was the Unocal pipeline, for which Enron did feasibility studies. (One recently unearthed letter between Lay and Bush on Central Asian projects can be found at: http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/bushlay12.shtml) In their book "Bin Laden: The Forbidden Truth," intelligence authorities Jean-Charles Brisard and Guillaume Dasquie believe that Bush's primary goal was to consolidate the position of the Taliban in order to secure US access to the oil and gas reserves in Central Asia. According to Brisard and Dasquie, Bush viewed the Taliban as " a source of stability in Central Asia that would enable the construction of an oil pipeline across Central Asia," from the rich oil fields in Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan, through Afghanistan and Pakistan, to the Indian Ocean."

According to Brisard and Dasquie, and an investigation by journalist Greg Palast, Bush also blocked secret service and FBI investigations on terrorism, while bargaining with the Taliban for the delivery of Osama bin Laden in exchange for political recognition and economic aid. Bush administration and Taliban officials met several times in Washington, Berlin and Islamabad. Each time, the Taliban refused Bush's conditions. The last meeting took place in August 2001. Central Asian affairs representative Christina Rocca and a coterie of State Department officials voiced disgust and issued a threat to the Taliban ambassador: "Accept our offer of a carpet of gold, or we bury you under a carpet of bombs." Bush promptly informed Pakistan and India that the US would launch a military mission against Afghanistan before the end of October. Weeks later, under questionable circumstances, jetliners would crash into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania, killing some 2,000 Americans. The ensuing war on Afghanistan, and the "war on terrorism," would claim the lives of more than 5,000 Afghans, scatter (but not destroy) the Taliban and send Osama bin Laden and his Al-Queda network into hiding. US oil Companies wooed the Taliban

* Now, knowing you are living a lie and once again we are on the wrong side of an issue because we are being lied to by the MSM and the White House as Georgia too is all about the oil and Georgia appears to be the original agressor, I got this yesterday from a Russian: 2000 innocent people, women and children were killed by georgian army IN ONE NIGHT. But CNN told nothing about it. When georgian army killed thousands of women and children all night 08/08/08 CNN, BBC and others western mass media kept silence... And keep silence about georgian crimes at present. Georgian soldiers and officers fired point-blank peaceful people! Georgians burned ossetians children alive!!! People! If Russia had really attacked Georgia, this country would not have existed at present! We just defended ossetians from georgian aggression! People! Your mass-media are under control of U.S. government. You are defending georgian fascists! Yours mass-media don't say truth to you...

* Now what do you think?

History is defined by the victors. Of course we always end up finding out what really happened. If you look at the history books from our childhood, you might find substantial differences between the history books of today.

As of now, the American people and citizens around the so-called "free world" are being warned of the Russian aggression - and while I still believe Russia entered the area for "fuelish" reasons, I have no doubt that Georgia has been an aggressor as well. How many times before has a US armed nation gone rogue? Iraq, Panama, Afghanistan, Georgia ... you get the idea. And it always ends up biting us in the ass!

Now Johnny "war is the cure" McSame is waving a big stick that has no weight. Even if there was a legitimate reason to go to bat for Georgia - which their isn't - we wouldn't be able to spare a single brigade thanks to Bush's mismanagement of our military resources.

Damn it, Jim! Even on days when I don't feel like writing my opinion about anything, you've got me doing it over here. At least I didn't go off on the proposed dumping of the Endangered Species Act.

I have to laugh! I wanted to write on the the ESA too but there is too much happening. I also hate to see McCain getting a buy on his admission th marital indiscretion. Or his mispronouncing his friend Saakshavili'S name 3 times without missing a beat and no one said shit.
This lie we are living is all about oil. Did you see the vid with the ex Pres candidate saying Georgia was the aggressor and it is all about oil? The statement I got from a Russian on genocide by Georgia? This is just beginning and we will get into this deeper until we are over our heads. This is all just beginning. By the way, always glad to get you going!

Jim--
You're absolutely right about it being 'all for oil'. The BTC Pipeline (Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan) is now in jeopardy. Cheney's flabby white ass must be spastic, going into anal arrest right now. Without control over the B & T sections, the C part is as useless as tits on an alligator.

How many barrels of oil is a human life worth? Or maybe better put: How many human lives is a barrel of oil worth? Just because these people don't speak English and gush over the next season of American Idol, does not make them any less worthy of life. Our behavior has become repugnant and repulsive. The American populace does not realize, that their apathy and complacency is feeding an insatiable monster, which has grown so large, it will soon trample their cities.

Hang in there, Jim, the next plane of existence will be better for those that embrace goodness now.

It was ratcheted up today with threats to Russia from the White House by Rice and Bush. Shortly there after Russia responded and said we better decide which side we are on. This won't be stopped but as you know, it is just beginning! i am hanging in there. You hang in there too! Hope all is well!

Great post. I never believe CNN or the colluding western media, as they are corporations looking to not offend their advertisers or hurt their investments.

Bloggerdom has a better edge on speaking up about the truth. I think the US supplied munitions, possibly through Israel to the Georgians, hoping to upset the apple cart and get control of that pipeline. Maybe Cheney even threw in a few American soldiers dressed as Russians, who knows?

Guess that's part of why there are several of us bloggers out here doing the good work, so we can cover more of what's happening. I actually just posted about McCain's wifeswapping before coming to visit your blog, AP.

I guess I knew something funny was going on with the whole Russia, Georgia conflict. His country is under attack and the president himself was on network news today. It was bizarre, like they were speaking to a reporter or some other eyewitness on the ground and not the head of a country at war. We're supposed to just accept that Georgia is good. Russia bad. It's 1984 and if you want to know who we're at war with since last minute, listen to the telescreens. 'cause the truth is whatever they make it.

Hi Jim et al..
Since the 1950`s, almost every american and british soldier injured or killed in battle, from Korea to Iraq, from Vietnam to Afghanistan, has been struck with a bullet from a kalashnikov.
Hundreds and thoudsands of USUK jeeps and tanks have been destroyed by Russian or Chinese RPG`s.
But no western soldier has set foot in either coubtry, testament to the military capabilities of those two allies.
The end-game, the final few moves in the quest for global domination are here and now.
But for what it`s worth, my opinion is that it will be all over in a few months, with the disintegration of the american military and government, and possibly the collapse of Israel.
We in the UK are heading for one huge recession, along with the secession of Scotland and Wales from the "English" throne and government.
It really is the end for the Judeo-christian empire.
Peace.

I agree with you 100%. We, here in America, have passed the tipping point. There is no longer time, or resources, for course correction. The Neo-cons have decimated this country with their greed and imperialistic dreams.

I hate to say it, but, "Let's get it on, and get it over with; so we can start on the path of re-construction". It will be a long hard up-hill road, but more gratifying than this slippery slope into Hell.

Welcome and Thanks! If you want the truth you have to go find it yourself then it will just be dismissed as conspiracy theory. Anyway,This is still just beginning. Russia said we must choose Georgia or Russia. Bush chose Georgia. Condi is going to Georgia.
We are flying supplies to Georgia on C17's who knows what they are? One of my sons is on c17's but when he goes somewhere he can't tell me or where he's going..
The supposed mercenaries I heard nothing else about. Knowing Israel is helping over there I heard they were black but aren't their black Jews or close?
Anyway as long as we are flying there the door is open for accusations real or not!
This will not be quelled and the chief idiot has instigated this for years.

I wanted to cover that about McCain because I don't like the S.O.B. getting a buy on anything. I hate to say it but this is more important right now.
The chief idiot has been instigating this for years. After listening to the BS from Bush and Condi then Russia saying we better choose, this is just getting underway and will be an integral part of Bush's Forever War!

jmsjoin said...

Alien
Georgia instigated this! They have been accused of genocide. Did you read the part I was sent from a "Russian Blogger"?

jmsjoin said...

Landsker
You are right about the Russian weapons. I have been hearing it touted that we supplied and trained Georgia's army and Russia routed them.
I do disagree about it being over quickly. No friggen way! This is just beginning and man just think of the repercussions regardless of who wins.
I do believe we have something up our sleeve called HAARP and it is well tested. Whoever owns space and the satellites has the others military dead in the water and owns the future!

We keep saying it is coming. Well it is friggen closer than ever. You know we instigated everything and what is described as a perfect storm as you know is but it is a manufactured perfect storm both here and around the world. It is all coming to a head at the perfect time to keep the chief scum in office and it is no coincidence!

Gee naj you snuck in there. I almost missed this. Son of a gun that is big news. I haven't heard a thing about that. I will have to check it out tomorrow. Things are moving too quickly now and it will get much worse. I wonder? I know I heard ships were headed towards Georgia supposedly with supplies! So it's beginning! Take care and stay in touch!

I know you have great faith in the HAARP System. But HAARP only disables high-tech weapons and communications. Owning space doesn't mean diddly-squat. To win wars, especially a world war, you have to have boots on the ground. We have lost over 4,100 soldiers and over 1,000 civilian contractors in Iraq. None of those deaths were caused by high-tech weaponry. HAARP is impotent against IEDs and snipers. It's also powerless against the Kilo Class subs, and other deadly conventional weapons.

When you factor in countries like China and Russia with multi-million man armies, and the armies of the smaller sympathetic nations; our ass is grass, even with HAARP and other Buck Rogers BS.

Your sons are in my prayers, Bud, I hope they decide to get out while the gettins' good. This crap is nothing to get all macho over. Macho will get you killed.....quick.

jmsjoin said...

Brother
I do not have great faith in HAARP. I do know we have seen it being used in various parts of the world particularly the middle east!
I have to hope that it is an ace up Bush's sleeve. Why else would he be so friggen arrogantly stupid? You pointed out on more than one occasion that the Russians if not the Chinese also have a program.
As for my sons I keep trying to get Jim who is the EOD lifer to get out but he is a lifer. He loves his job and needs the bonuses. Joe I usually feel okay with though he too wants to life it.
He flies C17s and they are supplying Georgia so, so much for peace of mind. Tom is cannon fodder if he gets his desire to be a Combat Engineer. Bill who I thought was the only saqfe one wants to eventually work as a civilian contractor in a combat zone because of the money and adventure. WTF?

What a coincidence1 I just checked out the link and oddly enough in todays title i said a line in the sand has been drawn and it's the sands of time we do not have!
It is not funny but the chief scum had the perfect opportunity to create a peaceful world of unity as we try to move into the future instead the friggen war monger instigates war and creates division that will hopefully not destroy the world but you know the idea!
