From Far away Labs, a Vivid Picture Emerges of the awful truth of the Japan Crisis

It was found 25 miles out to sea and The isotope, cesium 137, was measured in one village by the International Atomic Energy Agency at a level exceeding the standard that the Soviet Union used as a gauge to recommend abandoning land surrounding the Chernobyl reactor, and at another location not precisely identified by the agency at more than double the Soviet standard.

Analysis: Under pressure, U.N. nuclear body seeks safety role

Japan nuclear crisis not yet over:IAEA chief Environmental crisis not over? It's just beginning!

Concrete fails to plug leak at Fukushima nuclear plant   Here we go again, what the hell is next golf balls and shredded tires? Remember the Gulf of Mexico? What the hell is wrong with man risking his life and the planet for a few bucks?

From Far away Labs, a Vivid Picture Emerges of Japan Crisis awful truth

Radioactivity from the Fukishima plants has now been detected throughout the US, Canada, Russia, Scotland, the UK, South Korea, around the world, this is an environmental catastrophe our frail planet did not need.! We just discussed the terrible condition of our ocean's and we just keep trying to kill it and us

This really concerns me because the crisis in Japan just keeps getting worse despite the lies. It had to cross the country to get here on the east coast of the United States. This is not the legacy Japan wanted to leave for its children nor the one I want for mine. I have been saying from the beginning that this was going to dwarf Chernobyl and it will. It was obvious they were lying from the beginning and they still are.

They now have radiation in the ocean and wonder why? Duh! They found that #2 was leaking plutonium directly in the sea but don't worry it will be dilluted. What? That reactor three is the only one of the 6 that uses the deadliest of the deadly, a mixture of plutonium and uranium. Now we are hearing there is another in as bad a shape. Seal them in cement now before things get any worse. Chernobyl was a 7 now they are talking 6, eventually it will be a 10 or for which they of yet do not have a classification.

Been on the road most of the weekend due to my work, but have been keeping up with as much as I could via satellite radio and such. I will bet my paycheck right here that this is worse than we are even imagining (and I'm pretty good on my bet's). Then some will say that I am taking this overboard of course, because pessimism or the like's is "unpopular" ... but I am a realist, not a BS artist. I have bitched for year's about nuke plant's because of the land/ surface shift's of the globe (which cause earthquake's), and they all seen this crap, their not dummies. My wife and one of my daughter's in about a week or so will go to the Phillippines for a month vacation, I hope the damn water's dont start contaminating all over the bloody Asian Pacifific coastal area's.

Another thing, I'm sure your aware that Chernobyl is now a tourist attraction (you sure as Hell couldnt give me even a free trip there, I dont care how safe it is), but the thing is ... these containment facilities that they use to enclose these area's ... sure their good, but what some folk's dont realize is how many thousand's of year's that has to be contained. Also we have maxed out on storage as far as waste .. we are already in a hole whether we realize it or not, whatever spin is put on it. Many year's ago ... I asked myself ...."even if we stop this nuclear race ... where in Hell do we store everything?". I just dont like this at all.

Thanx

Hi RC! We can't store it no one wants it. I was blown away by that about Chernobyl knowing how much they are still hiding and that 25 years later the Germens pay hunters half a million apiece for wild boars to keep them off the table as they are still radioactive. This is 4 reactors and will dwarf Chernobyl!

Radioactive fallout from the Chernobyl nuclear disaster is still poisoning Germany's boars nearly 25 years on, with authorities fighting to keep toxic meat off the market as the wild boar population rockets.

AP: Actually I was reading about the Boar killing thing in Germany some time back. I have been whining about nuke's for at least 3 decade's, and I'm not even one of them enviromentalist's protestor type's ... but I dont think folk's realize the reality of these plant's and dependency. Looking at a map of their location's in continental USA is incredible ... they actually have a plant just 15 to 20 mile's from Manhattan (NYC) and NO for sure evacuation plan for a serious incident, I wonder if folk's realize the population concentration alone of the NYC Tri- State Area? or they just dont give a rat's ass? Texas had me whining recently because of the folk's down in Baytown(TX) jumping for joy over a new plant site down there (it's about "job's" of course) ... but there is also a plant just a tad west of the Dallas/ Fort Worth Metroplex (this metro area has close to 7 million) ... another thing about Texas ... as far as waste ... they would probably store every bit of waste they can here ... Texas is like an enviromental nightmare on regulation ... you can do any damn thing here for a price ... Nevada is kind of like that too ... but alot of folk's will figure to dump what they can here, cause we take any damn thing! sad, but true ....
