Yesterday a lot happened on the Russian Front" Gee what makes me think Bush is behind China Benefiting and Russia getting Dissed?

Russian facing increasing isolation!! What the hell do they care?

Yesterday we heard that Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has accused the United States of orchestrating the conflict in Georgia to benefit one of its presidential election candidates. In an exclusive interview with CNN's Matthew Chance in the Black Sea city of Sochi on Thursday, Putin said the U.S. had encouraged Georgia to attack the autonomous region of South Ossetia. Putin said his defense officials had told him it was done to benefit a presidential candidate -- Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama are competing to succeed George W. Bush -- although he presented no evidence to back it up.Putin accuses US of of orchestrating Georgia war
It drives me shit house that I agree with the "enemy" As U.S. and Russian envoys exchanged sharp words on Thursday over Iraq and Kosovo at a U.N. Security Council meeting on Georgia, at which Russia found little support for its actions in the Caucasus. US and Russia trade barbs over Iraq and Kosovo

What a surprise that Russia was lobbying Asian Nations for support against the US and just at the right time to make China stay on our side Iraq and China signed a $3 billion deal this week to develop a large Iraqi oil field, the first major commercial oil contract here with a foreign company since the 2003 U.S.-led invasion. The 20-year agreement calls for the state-owned China National Petroleum Corp. to begin producing 25,000 barrels of oil a day and gradually increase the output to 125,000 a day, said Asim Jihad, a spokesman for the Iraqi Oil Ministry. Iraq and China sign $3 Billion oil contract

Knowing this should this surprise you? The United States said Thursday it is considering scrapping its civil nuclear agreement with Russia but there was no announcement at this time. The U.S. move came after Russia's recognition of the independence of Georgia's breakaway regions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. The United States has said the Russian recognition was "unacceptable." US considers scrapping nuclear agreement with Russia

* What the hell does all that tell you? I am happy to say that yes China's alliance may be bought but I now believe they will ally with us as I keep asserting and go against Russia in this just developing Forever war to shape the worlds future. I reiterate * With Both sides so firmly entrenched in redrawing the map in Europe thanks to Bush imposing his will for oil. This is just another small piece in the Forever War Bush has guaranteed for our future. You see what he has done in the middle east for oil causing division and Russia and the US both arming them to the teeth to fight this Bush created future mess and it is coming to a head rapidly and at the perfect time for Bush to take total control of our facade of Democracy to prosecute the lie we are living!

Breaking News: Sen. John McCain picks Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate on GOP ticket for White House, CNN learns

Oh this is good!
Georgia to cut Diplomatic ties with Russia

Back to McCain! I hope Palin being so young and inexperienced next to a guy likely to keel any minute would turn off more voters than those gained because she is a woman!

The Republicans are making a desperate pitch to the PUMA Hillary freaks. Palin comes across as a holier than thou church lady, disapprovingly looking down on anyone having fun.

There goes their whole experience argument, too. Who would want Church Lady as commander in chief?

And wait til she gets asked a question about how much Republicans support her union member husband.

Ah, the sweetness of convergence. With Gustav bringing back memories of GOP stupidity and inaction during Katrina, McCain's pick of a runner-up in '84s Miss Alaska contest, the GOP maybe deciding to postpone the start if their convention, Republicans staying away from the convention, tickets still available for McCain's acceptance speech in a much smaller venue than Obama's sold-out appearance and Obama's historic speech, Karma may be back on our side.

I know, women and the NRA but I do think this is going to backfire on McCaine! I am sure there is more than just the Commissioner issue!
I hope Palin being so young and inexperienced next to a guy likely to keel any minute would turn off more voters than those gained because she is a woman! She does not have what it takes to be President no way!
I think she is ripe for the picking and even if it is only one debate Biden will eat her up. Bring on the debates!

You probably just saw my reply to Dave but I think you are right and she is going to scare away more than she will draw. No way in hell is she President material. Can you imagine that young untried little girl (no offense meant to anyone) handling the problems in the world Bush created if McAssHole died in office. No way in hell!

The governor will obviously have the support of all the Phyllis Schaflys of the Republican party. I just hope the hard core Hillary supporters won't be fooled and vote for her cause she's a woman! I heard on the news that she is under some sort of investigation in Alaska. McCains rationale for this so obvious and so CHILDISH. With her skimpy background would I want her to answer that three a m phone call? HELL NO!!!

I am on this pretty much every day because while this facade of an election in this facade of a Democracy goes on the world is racing to total chaos and war !
I firmly believe if McCain can't get stolen in martial law is coming! The right is not going to stop now! It seems like the average persons attention is kept away from the nightmare that is taking shape and the awful truth will be dropped out of the dark. You know!
By the way, sorry I took so long oe of my sons called!

Huge mistake for them! Great for us! The more I read about her the more this blows me away! Is he sabotaging himself? Throwing Obama to the dogs? Am I missing something here?

She is being investigated and I know she's guilty! This whole thing with her being picked by McAsshole after Bush and Cheney shows me for Republicans jokers are needed because they do not lead they are led!

But which one? If there was actual evidence that we'd orchestrating the conflict the blowback could sink the GOP even further. 'Course Putin would still be right...strictly speaking, that is.

Welcome! You will find this interesting. Knowing this, McCain!
Who is Randy Scheunemann?
He is the principal foreign policy adviser to John McCain and potential successor to Henry Kissinger and Zbigniew Brzezinski as national security adviser to the president of the United States.

But Randy Scheunemann has another identity, another role.

He is a dual loyalist, a foreign agent whose assignment is to get America committed to spilling the blood of her sons for client regimes who have made this moral mercenary a rich man.

From January 2007 to March 2008, the McCain campaign paid Scheunemann $70,000 pocket change compared to the $290,000 his Orion Strategies banked in those same 15 months from the Georgian regime of Mikheil Saakashvili.

What were Mikheil's marching orders to Tbilisi's man in Washington? Get Georgia a NATO war guarantee. Get America committed to fight Russia, if necessary, on behalf of Georgia.

Scheunemann came close to succeeding.

Had he done so, U.S. soldiers and Marines from Idaho and West Virginia would be killing Russians in the Caucasus, and dying to protect Scheunemann's client, who launched this idiotic war the night of Aug. 7. That people like Scheunemann hire themselves out to put American lives on the line for their clients is a classic corruption of American democracy.

U.S. backing for his campaign to retrieve his lost provinces is what Saakashvili paid Scheunemann to produce. But why should Americans fight Russians to force 70,000 South Ossetians back into the custody of a regime they detest? Why not let the South Ossetians decide their own future in free elections?

Not only is the folly of the Bush interventionist policy on display in the Caucasus, so, too, is its manifest incoherence.

Defense Secretary Robert Gates says we have sought for 45 years to stay out of a shooting war with Russia and we are not going to get into one now. President Bush assured us there will be no U.S. military response to the Russian move into Georgia.

That is a recognition of, and a bowing to, reality namely, that Russia's control of South Ossetia and Abkhazia and occupation of a strip of Georgia cannot be a casus belli for the United States. We may deplore it, but it cannot justify war with Russia.

If that be true, and it transparently is, what are McCain, Barack Obama, Bush, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel doing committing the United States and Germany to bringing Georgia into NATO? For that would commit us to war for a cause we have already conceded, by our paralysis, does not justify a war.

Not only did Scheunemann's two-man lobbying firm receive $730,000 since 2001 to get Georgia a NATO war guarantee, he was paid by Romania and Latvia to do the same. And he succeeded.

Latvia, a tiny Baltic republic annexed by Joseph Stalin in June 1940 during his pact with Adolf Hitler, was set free at the end of the Cold War. Yet hundreds of thousands of Russians had been moved into Latvia by Stalin, and as Riga served as a base of the Baltic Sea fleet, many Russian naval officers retired there.

The children and grandchildren of these Russians are Latvian citizens. They are a cause of constant tension with ethnic Letts and of strife with Moscow, which has assumed the role of protector of Russians left behind in the "near abroad" when the Soviet Union broke apart.

Thanks to the lobbying of Scheunemann and friends, Latvia has been brought into NATO and given a U.S. war guarantee. If Russia intervenes to halt some nasty ethnic violence in Riga, the United States is committed to come in and drive the Russians out.

This is the situation in which the interventionists have placed our country: committed to go to war for countries and causes that do not justify war, against a Russia that is re-emerging as a great power only to find NATO squatting on her doorstep.

Scheunemann's resume as a War Party apparatchik is lengthy. He signed the PNAC (Project for the New American Century) letter to President Clinton urging war on Iraq, four years before 9/11. He signed the PNAC ultimatum to Bush, nine days after 9/11, threatening him with political reprisal if he did not go to war against Iraq. He was executive director of the "Committee for the Liberation of Iraq," a propaganda front for Ahmad Chalabi and his pack of liars who deceived us into war.

Now Scheunemann is the neocon agent in place in McCain's camp.

The neocons got their war with Iraq. They are pushing for war on Iran. And they are now baiting the Russian Bear.

Is this what McCain has on offer? Endless war?

Why would McCain seek foreign policy counsel from the same discredited crowd that has all but destroyed the presidency of George Bush?

"Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence ... a free people ought to be constantly awake," Washington warned in his Farewell Address. Our Founding Father was warning against the Randy Scheunemanns among us, agents hired by foreign powers to deceive Americans into fighting their wars. And none dare call it treason.

Hi, AP, what's news? Oh, yeah, that Palin person. Hip hip hip hop.

Hi Maria
I was just listening to a debate over her on CNN and Begala said it all. It is insulting! It is irresponsible to put someone with zero experience on that level and in the state the country and the world are in when McCain is 72, suffered 4 heart attacks and could die in office as 8 others have.
The more I hear about her the more she scares me and the Republicans are as happy as pigs in shit.
As with Bush they didn't want a leader but someone who could be led. They are proving it once again!
Whoever is behind this agenda is not going to let it be stopped now it has gone to far. How are they going to steal it this time that is the question!
