Coney Island waterboarding exhibit! This is sick WTF?

Water boarding thrill ride! What the hell is wrong with us?

I can't friggen believe it! Look at this crap while I put something together!

Look at the latest in the explosion between Russia and Georgia!

Bush, Obama, and ass hole have all said Russia must withdraw. That you know will never happen! Abkhazia and the Ukraine now threaten to get involved as Russia calls for South Ossetia to be recognized as a sovereign Nation much to the fear of Georgia. This is just beginning. Hold on and wait till the fall. The worst is yet to come!

Meanwhile Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said that Moscow sent troops into South Ossetia to force Georgia into a cease-fire and prevent Georgia from retaking control of its breakaway region. Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said Georgia had effectively lost the right to rule it — an indication Moscow could be preparing to fulfill South Ossetians' wish to be absorbed into Russia. The risk of the conflict setting off a wider war also increased Saturday when Russian-supported separatists in another breakaway region, Abkhazia, also targeted Georgian troops by launching air and artillery strikes to drive them out.

And stupid Bush thinks what he says matters as President Bush called for an end to the Russian bombings and an immediate halt to the violence. "The attacks are occurring in regions of Georgia far from the zone of conflict in South Ossetia. They mark a dangerous escalation in the crisis," Bush said in a statement to reporters while attending the Olympic Games in Beijing. Georgia President Mikhail Saakashvili called it an "unprovoked brutal Russian invasion."

"This is about annihilation of a democracy on their borders," Saakashvili told the British Broadcasting Corp. "We on our own cannot fight with Russia. We want immediate cease-fire, immediate cessation of hostilities, separation of Russia and Georgia and international mediation." Read the rest

Again I reiterate Bush has been instigating this too for years and Russia is not going to relent but has been building a partnership to take us on for years and along with what is happening to us in the financial collapse and oil "crisis"? It is not a coincidence that it is all coming to a head before our elections. You know what is going to happen. If you want to talk about it please do!

Well, now Russia says mercenaries are involved, possibly American. Well!

The water boarding exhibit seems to be a protest. But I'm not sure how many people will see it that way.

I think a better ride would be for people to pay to be water boarded themselves.

This war between Russia and Georgia could well screw up Cheney's trans-Afghanistanian pipeline.

If the conflict spreads, there won't be any oil and gas to ship through it.

Wease
Just having that water boarding exhibit at Coney island if you are familiar with Coney Island makes it not a protest but something for pleasure!
What you say about Cheney's pipeline is dead on. You know Russia is not going to allow that or our influence to hold sway. This is just beginning. You know how it will end! Did you see the last video where Russia is now saying there are mercenaries possibly American? Oh man!

Jim--
The latest on Georgia/Russia:

Georgia informs Russian it will halt military action in South Ossetia

DEBKAfile Special Report and Analysis

August 10, 2008, 6:22 PM (GMT+02:00)

Russian armor pours into South Ossetia and Abkhazia
The message handed to the Russian embassy in Tbilisi Sunday afternoon, Aug. 10, is the first sign of a crack in the Georgian military front against Russia in the breakaway South Osssetia province. Earlier, Russian forces were reported to be heading to invade the Georgian town of Gori. This was not confirmed by Russian sources.

During the day, Russian soldiers and marines entered Abkhazia, Georgia's second breakaway province, by land and from Russian Black Sea naval vessels, which were ordered to block Georgian ports against arms delivery by sea. This opened a third front in Russia’s war with Georgia on Day Three of the armed conflict.

At midday, Ukrainian military circles indicated the possibility of closing Russia’s main Black Sea base of Sevastopol to naval ships on their way back from blockading Georgian ports.

The US has drafted a resolution condemning Russia in third UN Security Council session later Sunday.

In the face of President George W. Bush’s demand for an immediate withdrawal of Russian troops and support for international mediation, Moscow poured an additional 10,000 men and armor into South Ossetia Sunday as well - and Russian jets bombed a military airfield outside the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.

Under heavy fire, Georgia “temporarily” pulled its soldiers from the South Ossetian capital of Tskhinvali, but stayed in the region and denied it was surrendering. President Mikhail Saakashvili asked the United States to act as mediator with Moscow and appealed to the Russians to stop “this madness.”

Russian prime minister Vladimir Putin, for his part, accused Georgia of ethnic cleansing. As disputed casualty figures climbed, civilians were increasingly bearing the brunt of the bloodshed and hardship.

Two Georgian towns, Gori and the Black Sea naval, military and oil port of Poti, also took casualties and heavy damage from Russian air strikes. A third town, Zugdidi on Abkhazian border, was targeted Sunday.

DEBKAfile’s military analysts: By flouting US demands to accept mediation, Moscow highlights America’s lack of leverage for helping its embattled Georgian ally. The Bush administration has trapped itself in its foreign policy commitment to dialogue and international diplomacy for solving world disputes but is short of willing opposite numbers.

Russia is following Iran’s example in exploiting Washington's inhibition to advance its goals by force. Therefore, the Caucasian standoff has profound ramifications for the Middle East and Persian Gulf. Moscow’s disdain for Washington’s lack of muscle will further encourage Tehran and its terrorist proxies to defy the international community and the United States in particular.

DEBKAfile’s military analysts reported Saturday: Tiny Georgia with an army of less than 18,000, having been roundly defeated in South Ossetia, cannot hope to withstand the mighty Russian army in Abkhazia. Therefore, President Saakashvili, who had bid to join NATO, must consider both breakaway regions lost to Georgia and gained by Russia.

This is Moscow's payback for the US-NATO success in detaching Kosovo from Serbia and approving its independence. It is also a warning to Ukraine, the Caucasus and Central Asia against joining up with the United States and the NATO bloc in areas which Moscow deems part of its strategic sphere of influence

After seizing South Ossetia and Abkhazia from Georgia, four follow-up Russian steps may be postulated:

1. The two separatist provinces will proclaim their independence, just like Kosovo.

2. Russia will continue to exercise its overwhelming military and air might to force the pro-American Saakashvili’s capitulation.

3. The Georgian president will not survive in office long after losing two regions of his country and national humiliation. Moscow aims to make Washington swallow a pro-Russian successor.

4. Moscow’s trampling of Georgia will serve as an object lesson for Russia’s own secessionist provinces such as Chechnya, Dagestan and Ingushettia not to risk defying Russian armed might.

Russia is through playing games. The moronic monkey would be wise to not poke a stick in Putin's eye.

He has stretched our mlitary to the breaking point in Afghanistan and Iraq. Russia has set up a Naval blockade in the Black Sea to stop weapons shipments to Georgia.

As I've said, "The chess game has begun"

Your move, George.

Brother
I heard Georgia pulled out last night. I also heard Russia would push for South Ossetia to become a sovereign Nation and I am sure you saw the correspondence between Wease and I. Did you see the last video where Russia says there may be mercenaries and they may be American? You are right, the game begins and you know Russian's are masters!

Unknown said...

If the mercenaries are found to be American, Russia will look at it as American interference, whether it's sanctioned or not. This could be the harbinger of WWIII.

With major escalations going on over there, the American MSM sees fit to only give it cursory coverage. All of their lead stories are of Edward's affair and Obama's visit with his grandmother in Hawaii.

Sheesh!!! Isn't Paris Hilton doing anything today? What's the latest on Britany Spears?

I've seen more journalistic integrity in High School newspapers.

jmsjoin said...

Brother
You are right about the mercenaries and WW3! Funny but the Russians said they could be Americans because they were black but after what you said about Israel I was thinking Jews. Aren't there black Jews? Sounds familiar.
Anyway bush is doing their dirty work in their area stands to reason they would be doing Bush's here.

I have to laugh! I am sickened by the low level of our MSM. Everything important is ignored or glossed over for the crap that just pisses me off like what you mentioned.
Anyway this as I keep saying is part and parcel to this entire mess here and around the world and it is all coming to a head at the perfect time and it is no friggen coincidence!

Corporations have a duty to expand.

BlackWater and others can only go do far with US contracts. If they are to grow, they have to court other clients.

So we could have American Mercenaries working for Israel.

Blackwater is after all a Fundamentalist Christian corporation. It would be within their corporate philosophy to slaughter people for a jewish state also.

jmsjoin said...

Wease
You may be right! i almost forgot, I remember writing about it over a year ago, Blackwater's founder saying they were going to expand their function and farming out to other countries. You know, this is a pretty screwed up environment we are in today. Oh man I want to friggen scream AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!! all right I feel better. Shit!

This is political art!
It is drawing the attention og the Coney-island visitors who are most likely to have never heard about the abhorring practice of water boarding. This is raising public awareness and is shocking the goofie spectators with a piece of what their ignorance has created in the world!
I applaud this exhibit!

There is no sanity or restraint anymore.

Since Bush proved that a "democracy" can launch an illegal war without any negative consequences for the aggressors, it is now open season for the rest of the world to start killing each other.

Maybe humanity's self-extermination is inevitable. The madness has gone pandemic.

I just hope there's someone "out there" observing this species and gaining the valuable lesson WE certainly will never learn.

jmsjoin said...

Hey naj
Glad to hear from you! I have been trying to give you room and keep what is happening off your site. With what is happening her, in the middle east, in Georgia, there is no coincidence here.
There is no surprises here. This is all coming to a terrible head at the perfect time for Bush to stay in power or to steal the election a third time. This time with McCain at the helm. He by the way is worse than Bush!

jmsjoin said...

Naj
I am sorry but you may not know Coney Island. It is one of America's oldest and premier poarks" for entertainment, enjoyment, and pleasure. It is hardly the place for a political statement or a ride or display on water boarding!

jmsjoin said...

Dave
It is insanity we are witnessing! Bush set this in motion. The bastard is in China playing and looking like a fool and the mess he set in motion in Georgia is just beginning to blow. I will send a note to Bartlebee, voltron, worf, Mike, and clif over at lydia's in the morning.
They are having a great conversation on Georgia, Russia, and WW3. As you know, everything Bush has done around the world has been to instigate this and it will not be stopped by anyone now.
Someone smart may come along but it will be too late to stop the extreme brunt of what is getting ready to happen, coming to a head no coincidence at the perfect time for Bush or to keep power or McCain whop they will steal the election a third time for. This is just beginning!

Bush can't tell anyone to do anything. You have to set examples for others to follow and with his - you'll notice I didn't say our - preemptive invasion of Iraq, he doesn't have any room to talk.

Fuck! It's Morton's law of bad shit. When it rains, it fuckin' pours!

Hi Jim, and whilst talking of funfairs.....The Chinese are firm friends of the Russians, and once the "Games" in Peking are done, it would seem obvious that they will return to the greater game.
They hold billions of dollars of unredeemable American debt, which they would like to dump, which will further weaken the greenback.
The pundits across the globe see September being the "Time of reckoning for America."
Russia has just flexed its` military muscles, no doubt, the airmen and soldiers involved feel an increase in morale, as for NATO, given their position in Afghanistan, it is being shown up as a tired and toothless dog.

Peace.

jmsjoin said...

Robert
You are entirely right! Sadly Russia and others are following Bush's example and as you know that is the problem. Time for talk is done and I plan on writing about that today but we'll see what the morning brings. Thanks to Reagan and the Bush's this is now beyond control as I have said too many times.

landsker said...

Hope I don`t sound too gloomy there Jim, who knows, perhaps the ordinary people of America will eventually embrace socialism.
So `though if the leaders of Russia and China defeat the leaders of America in this great global game, it won`t mean that "we the workers" will see much change, but eventually, who knows?

jmsjoin said...

Landsker
NATO and the UN are worthless and Russia and the world knows it. This is getting ready to come to a head maybe Sept but I think certainly soon to keep Bush in power or steal a 3rd election for the right. Time fire talk is over period. I might discuss that today but right now I am pissed after trying to alert people since before the scum Bush was even in. The worthless crap is happy as a clam and playing in Chine while making believe he cares! S.O.B.!

jmsjoin said...

Landsker
Hell bud gloomy! You just heard me. The American people may embrace socialism but they do not matter. Only the Fascist right does and they will not give up power now. All that remains is how they are going to steal power and a third election this time!
