Today Politics take a back seat to yesterdays continental internet failure! It raises questions and brings to the forefront its importance!

HAARP High Frequency Active Aural Research Program

Today Politics take a back seat to yesterdays continental internet failure! It raises questions and brings to the forefront its importance and dominance of space! Remember HAARP?

With China being virtually shut down because of the violent weather knowing how hugely and adversely it is increasingly affecting us and the entire world I wanted to discuss that in hopes that the world would realize we are at war and throw away any ideas for future war. I thought it more important to discuss yesterdays continental internet failure knowing how critical the internet is to us and the entire world. Plus my past discussions as to whoever owns space owns the future of the world. That will bring us back to HAARP!

Yesterday an internet failure hit two continents virtually bringing them to a standstill! Large swathes of Asia, the Middle East and north Africa had their high-technology services crippled Thursday following a widespread Internet failure which brought many businesses to a standstill and left others struggling to cope. One major telecommunications provider blamed the outage, which started Wednesday, on a major undersea cable failure in the Mediterranean. India's Internet bandwidth has been sliced in half, The Associated Press reported, leaving its lucrative outsourcing industry trying to reroute traffic to satellites and other cables through Asia.

Reports say that Egypt, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain are also experiencing severe problems. Nations that have been spared the chaos include Israel -- whose traffic uses a different route -- and Lebanon and Iraq. Many Middle East governments have backup satellite systems in case of cable failure. There were contradictory reports on the real cause behind the disruption . There were concerns in India that an Internet slowdown could affect trading patterns at the country's two major exchanges, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) in Delhi and the SENSEX exchange in Bombay. Besides the Internet, the outage caused major disruption to television and phone services, creating chaos for the UAE's public and private sectors.
The outage led to a rapid collapse of a wide range of public services in a country which proudly promotes itself as technological pioneer. The outage heavily crippled Dubai's business section, which is heavily reliant on electronic means for billions of dollars' worth of transactions daily. look at the damage what if it was longer
That was one outage affecting many continents because of Business around the world. look at the countries that were affected. Look at the countries that were not and had alternative methods of communication powered by satellites. It is those satellites I want to talk about because as some of you know, satellites are an integral part not only of communication but in the function and operation of every superpowers modern military. Natural resources are important to the operation of every modern society but control of space is the key to their operation and the future. If you control space you control the future. I detailed many times China and Russia's efforts at disrupting our Satellites as a means of stopping our communications and our military dead in the water. Just a reminder of The Assassins Mace

We know how critical controlling Satellites is to us and our military along with those of our friends and adversaries. that disruption really made me think of how fragile our ability to communicate is and made me inquire further into what I believe is a program to shut down the satellites of those other than our comrades. This bears reading. This is not new nor a Conspiracy Theory! First a couple of important quotes:

*The real menace of our Republic is the invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy legs over our cities, states and nation. At the head is a small group of banking houses... This little coterie...run our government for their own selfish ends. It operates under cover of a self-created screen...seizes...our executive officers...legislative bodies...schools...courts...newspapers and every agency created for the public protection.” N.Y. Mayor, John Hylan, 1922
*Technology will make available, to the leaders of major nations, techniques for conducting secret warfare, of which only a bare minimum of the security forces need be appraised... [T]echniques of weather modification could be employed to produce prolonged periods of drought or storm." - former National Security advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski, in "Between Two Ages" "If you view HAARP as simply one more government research project, and fail to accept that the entire U.S. military industrial complex is an integral part of the enforcement arm of the NWO, you can not understand the meaning of current events." Read more about Brezinski's US police state
___________________________

Now let's look at this if you want to take the time to learn about HAARP. It will affect our Future. You decide! The HAARP complex is situated within a 23-acre lot in a relatively isolated region near the town of Gakona. When the final phase of the project was completed in 1997, the military had erected 180 towers, 72 feet in height, forming a "high-power, high frequency phased array radio transmitter" capable of beaming in the 2.5-10 megahertz frequency range, at more than 3 gigawatts of power (3 billion watts).

According to the Navy and Air Force, HAARP "will be used to introduce a small, known amount of energy into a specific ionospheric layer" anywhere from several miles to several tens of miles in radius. Not surprisingly, Navy and Air Force PR (posted on the official HAARP World Wide Web Internet site, an effort to combat the bad press the project has generated), downplays both the environmental impacts of the project and purported offensive uses of the technology.

However, a series of patents owned by the defense contractor managing the HAARP project suggests that the Pentagon might indeed have more ambitious designs. In fact, one of those patents was classified by the Navy for several years during the 1980s. The key document in the bunch is U.S. Patent number 4,686,605, considered by HAARP critics to be the "smoking raygun," so to speak. Held by ARCO Power Technologies, Inc. (APTI), the ARCO subsidiary contracted to build HAARP, this patent describes an ionospheric heater very similar to the HAARP heater invented by Bernard J. Eastlund, a Texas physicist. In the patent--subsequently published on the Internet by foes of HAARP--Eastlund describes a fantastic offensive and defensive weapon that would do any megalomaniacal James Bond super villain proud.
According to the patent, Eastlund's invention would heat plumes of charged particles in the ionosphere, making it possible to, for starters, selectively "disrupt microwave transmissions of satellites" and "cause interference with or even total disruption of communications over a large portion of the earth." But like his hopped up ions, Eastlund was just warming up.

Per the patent text, the physicist's "method and apparatus for altering a region in the earth's atmosphere" would also: "cause confusion of or interference with or even complete disruption of guidance systems employed by even the most sophisticated of airplanes and missiles"; "not only... interfere with third-party communications, but [also] take advantage of one or more such beams to carry out a communications network at the same time. Put another way, what is used to disrupt another's communications can be employed by one knowledgeable of this invention as a communications network at the same time"; "pick up communication signals of others for intelligence purposes"; facilitate "missile or aircraft destruction, deflection, or confusion" by lifting large regions of the atmosphere "to an unexpectedly high altitude so that missiles encounter unexpected and unplanned drag forces with resultant destruction or deflection of same." If Eastlund's brainchild sounds like a recipe for that onetime Cold War panacea, the Strategic Defense Initiative (AKA "Star Wars"), it's probably no coincidence.

The APTI/Eastlund patent was filed during the final days of the Reagan administration, when plans for high-tech missile defense systems were still all the rage. But Eastlund's blue-sky vision went far beyond the usual Star Wars prescriptions of the day and suggested even more unusual uses for his patented ionospheric heater. "Weather modification," the patent states, "is possible by... altering upper atmospheric wind patterns or altering solar absorption patterns by constructing one or more plumes of particles which will act as a lens or focusing device." As a result, an artificially heated could focus a "vast amount of sunlight on selected portions of the earth." HAARP officials deny any link to Eastlund's patents or plans. But several key details suggest otherwise. For starters, APTI, holder of the Eastlund patents, continues to manage the HAARP project. lease read the rest at the link. It is far more than provocative and intriguing!

**In closing, a look back! The second New York Times story, dated December 8, 1915, describes one of Tesla's more well-known patents, a transmitter that would "project electrical energy in any amount to any distance and apply it for innumerable purposes, both in war and peace." The similarity of Tesla's ideas to Eastlund's invention are remarkable, and by extension the overlap between Tesla and HAARP technology is downright intriguing. Apparently, APTI and the Pentagon are taking Eastlund's--and by extension, Tesla's--ideas seriously. Eastlund seems to agree. As he told one journalist/conspiracy pathfinder: "HAARP is the perfect first step towards a plan like mine. ...The government will say it isn't so, but if it quacks like a duck and it looks like a duck, there's a good chance it is a duck." Now what do you think? This can not be denied, it is stunning

The Battle for the direction of America's future is rapidly shaping up! Division and war mongering vs. Unity and peace!

The Choice of America's future is War or Peace this fall!

This morning I woke to hear that Giuliani was dropping out of the race of the war mongering party and was backing McCain! After yesterdays developments with the Kennedy trio throwing their significant weight behind Obama giving him the backing of experience respected in much of the country and hearing that Giuliani was dropping out to back the war monger McCain I was going to discuss the rapidly developing sides in the direction America is to hopefully take into the future if we have a choice any more thanks to Bush who has set the world into action against us regardless of who gets elected if we even have elections. Very convoluted and complicated at best! now I just heard that Edwards has also dropped out and has not yet announced or said who he would back. I am hoping he backs Obama and that their is an Obama Edwards ticket The battle for the direction of America's direction in the future is rapidly taking shape and we must get involved on the side of Peace and Unity!

Things are moving rapidly! Last night we hear Sen. John McCain's Florida win essentially turns the GOP presidential race into a two-man contest between the Arizonan and Mitt Romney as the campaigns geared up Wednesday for next week's Super Tuesday races. war or Religion hmm! Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani placed a distant third with 15 percent of the vote, followed closely by former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who held 14 percent. The win gives McCain all 57 Florida delegates at stake. The victory also is significant because it proves McCain can win a contest solely involving Republicans. Florida is a closed primary, so no crossover voting among Republicans and Democrats is allowed. McCain's primary wins in New Hampshire and South Carolina were due in part to the backing of independents who cast ballots in the GOP contests. However, McCain still finished second to Romney and Huckabee with conservatives and evangelicals, two key wings of the Republican Party. The battle continues between war mongering and Religion with Repugs

This caught me off guard though! Former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards will drop out of the race for the Democratic presidential nomination on Wednesday, a day after his dismal showing in the Florida Democratic primary. The Southern candidate, who has run a populist campaign, is scheduled to make the announcement at a 1 p.m. news conference in New Orleans, La., where he began his populist campaign, aides said. New York Sen. Hillary Clinton trounced Edwards and Illinois Sen. Barack Obama Tuesday, although the victory does not bring with it any delegates. The Democratic National Committee stripped Florida of its delegates for moving its primary to an early date.

Edwards failed to beat either Obama or Clinton in any of the 2008 presidential races, losing in New Hampshire, Iowa, Nevada and South Carolina. In Florida, Clinton garnered 50 percent of the vote, while Obama racked up 33 percent and Edwards mustered only 14 percent. as we know, Arizona Sen. John McCain won Florida's Republican contest, capturing the state's 57 delegates in the winner-take-all contest. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is expected to drop out of the race and throw his support to McCain, as the Arizona senator's campaign builds momentum going into next week's Super Tuesday contests. Despite his loss, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney told supporters he will stay in the race, saying America needs someone who has had a job in the real economy. Giuliani finished a distant third and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee finished fourth. Edwards drops out

* The battle for America's future is shaping up! Unity vs. war on the lift. War mongering vs. perverted Religion on the right. Today's revelation about Bush's intentions for the future make it more critical that the Republicans fight amongst themselves, Edwards backs Obama defeating Billary, and Obama gets elected and survives to chart the future of America!

Four months after announcing troop reductions in Iraq, President Bush is now sending signals that the cuts may not continue past this summer, a development likely to infuriate Democrats and renew concerns among military planners about strains on the force. Mr. Bush has made no decisions on troop reductions to follow those he announced last September. But White House officials said Mr. Bush had been taking the opportunity, as he did in Monday’s State of the Union address, to prepare Americans for the possibility that, when he leaves office a year from now, the military presence in Iraq will be just as large as it was a year ago, or even slightly larger. The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Mr. Bush wanted to tamp down criticism that a large, sustained presence in Iraq would harm the overall health of the military — a view held not only by Democrats, but by some members of his own Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Within the Pentagon, senior officers have struggled to balance the demands of the Iraq war against the competing demands to recruit, train and retain a robust and growing ground force. That institutional tension is personified by two of Mr. Bush’s top generals, David H. Petraeus, the top commander in Iraq, and George W. Casey Jr., the Army chief of staff. General Petraeus’s mission is to win the war; General Casey must also worry about the health of the whole Army. “We’re concerned about the health of the force as well, but the most important thing is that they succeed in Iraq,” said one senior White House official, adding, “If the commanders on the ground believe we need to maintain the troop numbers at the current level to maintain security for a little while longer, then that’s what the president will do.” That strong White House tilt in favor of General Petraeus comes as he prepares to testify before Congress in April about the next step in Iraq. In September, based on General Petraeus’s earlier recommendation, Mr. Bush announced that he intended to withdraw five combat brigades and Marine units — roughly 20,000 troops — from Iraq by July. That would leave 15 combat brigades in place.

In his address to Congress, Mr. Bush spoke of those reductions, but not of any future ones. What a continuing commitment of 15 brigades — more than 130,000 troops — would mean for the Army as a whole is said to be a major concern of General Casey, among others on the joint staff. But officials said Mr. Bush’s primary concern was not letting military gains in Iraq slip away, a warning he issued in his State of the Union address. Mr. Bush hinted in September that there might be more reductions to come, although he has never made an explicit promise. The Pentagon has also not made any promises, although military planners have talked about wanting to reduce the number of brigades to 12 from 15 by the end of this year, if the security situation improves enough to permit it. Mr. Bush’s defense secretary Robert M. Gates has said he would like to cut even further, eventually dropping to 10 brigades if possible. But Mr. Gates has avoided using specific numbers in more recent comments, and says unswervingly that he would be guided by conditions on the ground. At the Pentagon, officials said the withdrawal of 20,000 combat troops pledged by Mr. Bush left open the future of the 7,000 to 8,000 support and aviation troops that accompanied those “surge” combat forces. If those extra support troops remain in Iraq even after the withdrawal of the additional combat troops, then it is possible that the number of American military personnel in Iraq after the surge could be higher than before, officials said. Bush sending signals of no troop reduction in Iraq

** The future is quite clear if left up to Bush and his war mongering prognosticators! Edwards administers progressive ideas and has said in the past that as long as he was alive and breathing the voice of his supporters would be heard in this campaign. I believe the man and that means he will be actively supporting and backing Obama or Hillary. I believe absolutely that it will be Obama as he is the person that will most likely unite America and bring back support to average Americans. Anything else would be a vote for a future of war mongering not healing and if we are lucky, peace!

Bush's state of Disunion was a joke as expected, follows is the truth by Wexler and how bush would have sounded had the truth been told!

Yesterday in regard to the State of Disunion address last night Congressman Wexler sent me the truth as we all know it!

For the past seven years, we have watched as America has moved steadily backwards. We have become a nation that is less free and less fair. We have become a nation that no longer values the right to privacy and has tragically retreated from our cherished foundations.
Nothing George W. Bush saaid will change the sad reality of the America he has given us:

- Our economy teeters on the edge of recession while property taxes spike and homeowners are losing their homes at record levels;
- Our educational system is broken and our teachers are abandoned;
- Our roads and bridges languish in disrepair, while our borders and ports remain under-inspected and insecure;
- Our most basic ideals about law and justice have been tossed out, as our President uses fear to pursue his reckless agenda; and
- We remain mired in Iraq – a war built on lies and manipulated intelligence.
Nowhere in American history - not even Watergate - have we been confronted with an Administration so ambivalent about the truth and established law. A recent nonpartisan study found that the Bush Administration lied over 900 times in the prelude to the Iraq war, misleading us on nearly every critical issue.
It is time that we reclaim this country and undue the damage wrought by George W. Bush and Dick Cheney.

Democrats in Congress must stand up and lead – no matter the cost.
We need to finally act on the promises of the 2006 election and stop at nothing to bring our troops home from the Iraq. If we do not act Bush will install a permanent US presence in Iraq and John McCain's vision of a 100 year US occupation will become reality. Click here to read the editorial on the Failure of the Bush Surge in Iraq

It is time that we faced up to our global responsibilities and begin to prevent global warming. In the richest nation on earth, it is long past time that we provide health insurance to every single American.
* Knowing that is all true and even worse let me give you his idiocy last night if he was to say the truth. You will find it interesting! Bush opened saying our country has been tested in ways none of us could have imagined. We faced hard decisions about peace and war, rising competition in the world economy, and the health and welfare of our citizens. This statement was received by deserved laughter because instead of admitting he has failed every friggen test he said we have had some success. he has a lot of Balls! He said both sides of the aisle came together to do the peoples business.
My rear! only when he threw a tantrum or got his way. I am sick of his crap! Come together, doing the people's business, when the hell is that going to start? It won't! He said From expanding opportunity to protecting our country, we've made good progress.Bull shit! This guy is stupefying in his blatant BS! The BS is sickening and goes on and on but this was enough for me!

In the work ahead, we must be guided by the philosophy that made our nation great. As Americans, we believe in the power of individuals to determine their destiny and shape the course of history. We believe that the most reliable guide for our country is the collective wisdom of ordinary citizens. WTF! Since when does he listen to anyone let alone us. He says and shows we do not matter. He said he would rather listen to his dog. He has done nothing right and listened to no one. I hope to God people remember that and give this idiot his just reward in History. If you have not seen it and can take the obvious, underhanded, two faced BS please read the transcript

I want to focus on the Democrats response to his proud lies! Facing a worst-of-all-worlds combination of war and a possible recession he created Bush did not embrace any of the high-risk policy gambles, such as Iraq, immigration, Social Security and other ventures, that have defined his presidency as a total failure. He instead sketched a narrow path of small-scale skirmishes with Congress on spending, deadlock with Democrats on Iraq policy and fervent hope that his signature tax cuts do not vanish with his presidency as they damn well better. Democratic Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius called for "a new course" for the nation on Monday, saying Americans "have no more patience with divisive politics" and urging President Bush to join "the vast majority of Americans" to make needed change. He should! Didn't the idiot just say he trusts us? ARGHH!

Sebelius said her "American response" to the president's State of the Union address was "a national call to action on behalf of the struggling families here in the heartland, and across this great country" and "a wake-up call to Washington, on behalf of a new American majority, that time is running out on our opportunities to meet our challenges and solve our problems." The 58-year-old Sebelius said that the American people "are not nearly as divided as our rancorous politics might suggest." I disagree with her there because we are divided. The division has been created by Bush between average Americans and those that benefit from Bush's division.

"The new Democratic majority of Congress and the vast majority of Americans are ready -- ready to chart a new course," she said, adding that restoring America's status in the world and improving the fight against terrorism would not have to wait for a new president if "more Republicans in Congress stand with us this year."

Sebelius, in her second term as governor of Kansas, called for President Bush to use the remaining days of his final term in office to "give the American people renewed optimism that their challenges are the top priority." "Working together, working hard, committing to results, we can get the job done," she said. "In fact, over the last year, the Democratic majority in Congress has begun to move us in the right direction, with bipartisan action on significant initiatives to bolster our national security, raise the minimum wage, and reduce the costs of college loans. Democratic response

I agree with Governor Sebelius but there is going to be one hell of a struggle and nothing positive will get accomplished for our America or average Americans as long as Bush is in power. we have to restore "our America" and "our Rights" that is all we have to do but It is going to be a lot harder than most can imagine. I can not remotely seeing those who are really behind the agenda Bush is pushing through allowing all his destructive accomplishments to be turned back. We think it is bad now! We are headed towards an even harder future but we can persevere

Yesterdays discussion of Barak Obama and the portent if nominated as he will be after input last night I am convinced there will be an assassination!

I got this from a friend in Australia !

Yesterday I voiced my very real, Deep concern about Barrak Obama: the MSM says Race is not a concern here and they are dead wrong. It is not a concern of mine or many others in the Democratic party but remember this is only the Primary. I absolutely 100% expect Obama to be our nominee and will be our next President. However Caroline's endorsement of Obama saying he is most like her Father eliciting the support of the masses makes me remember one of my many concerns for these elections. As her Father was assassinated I fully believe that is a very real concern when it comes to running for the Presidency. There are many as you know, in the Republican party who will never accept it. Today after new findings I am convinced!

I just got through listening to Barraks acceptance speech after being endorsed by Caroline and Ted and Patrick Kennedy! it was a rousing speech and the more I hear him speak I know he is what the country needs, I know he can do the job, and the more concerned I get pre-election.
First I happened to have gotten an E from Jerome last night and if anyone knows JFK and his accomplishments primarily because he was a part of them, it is the relentless liberal. This is what he had to say and it makes me even more concerned:

Revisiting John Fitzgerald Kennedy By Jerome Grossman:

President John F. Kennedy has a special place in the hearts of Americans for many positive reasons but especially because he was assassinated in the middle of his term of office on November 22, 1963. A handsome and charismatic leader, he was a gifted orator whose speeches regularly focused on inspirational themes. He arrived at the White House with no executive experience, a factor that led him into serious difficulties early in his term.

In his campaign for election in 1960, Kennedy attacked the Eisenhower - Nixon administration from the right, accusing it of weakening American security by building too few planes, missiles and other military supplies. After taking power, Kennedy significantly increased U.S. military strength and began using it in Vietnam, increasing the number of US soldiers there from 665 to 16, 000, and sending them into combat in Vietnam for the first time.

Early in his term, Kennedy suffered a serious defeat when he allowed the abortive Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba that failed. Then he met in Vienna with Soviet Premier Khrushchev to negotiate rights to Berlin. That also failed, brought the two countries to the brink of war, and inaugurated a period of great tension and confrontation marked by the Soviet erection of the Berlin Wall.

Kennedy did have some minor successes in foreign-policy: establishing the Peace Corps, the Alliance for Progress in Latin America, and the Treaty Banning Nuclear Testing in the Atmosphere. His handling of the Cuban missile crisis of 1962 received mixed reviews: some praised the result that avoided nuclear war, others criticized Kennedy for "brinkmanship."On domestic matters, Kennedy offered programs for significant reform in many areas, but he was unable to negotiate them through the Democratic Congress.

They were either killed or not acted upon. On the civil rights crisis, Kennedy initially asked Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to cancel the 1963 March on Washington but acquiesced when it became inevitable. The Kennedy agenda was adopted by Congress under the leadership of his successor, Lyndon Johnson, who was an experienced manager and negotiator, who knew how to promote, threaten, swap and deal.

Now the powerful Kennedy family has endorsed Barack Obama for president because of his similarity in person, style, and the level of experience to the martyred president. Caroline Kennedy has written that "Obama would be a president like my father." Edward M. Kennedy, Ethel Kennedy, and Ted Sorensen agree with her.
If Obama wins the Democratic nomination and then the presidency, we would hope for his success in managing this complicated country of 300 million people with so many competing interests and negotiating with other nations to protect U.S. interests. In so many ways, Obama does remind of Kennedy; appearance, charisma, eloquence, poise and the emphasis on inspiration, but especially in his lack of executive experience. There is no guarantee that any of the presidential candidates of either party will be able to inspire, lead and manage. Of these abilities the most important is to manage and the career of charismatic John F. Kennedy proves the point. Revisiting JFK by Jerome Grossman

I'm telling you this is very prophetic and I know the powers that are really behind Bush and the Republicans will not allow a Black President or another JFK that will bind us together. Remember what happened then, It will happen again. knowing that, I received an Email last night from a friend in Australia with a comment. This blew me away as like you I never even thought about it. As we always say today with this misadministration if you want to hear the truth you have to go outside the Country and MSM. In this case it was England.
From Amphibious the cartoon: This is from my favorite political cartoonist, Steve Bell of the British GUARDIAN - known to its readers as the GRAUNIAD for its constant typos, even in the long lost days when newspapers had sub editors and literate journalists. He drew it after the Iowa win and surely it is everyone's fear? In a country awash with weapons, it struck me as passing strange that Lennon was blown away with a .45 but Raygun was only pinged with a 22. I can't believe I never even thought in those terms but think about it!

** With Obama this is too good, it is too much, it is too prophetic! I absolutely expect an attempt on his life if it looks like he will be elected. Whoever the powers are behind Bush, the right, and who is really behind who is elected, will not allow a President that will unite us and drive us away from their endorsed agenda. they have gained too much ground behind Bush! His assassination would be just one of the excuses that may be caused by Bush's interests but it would give Bush his chance to curtail elections due to great revolt by the masses and declare martial law keeping him at the helm of his new (dis)order Forever wars!

One more State of the Union rant from Bush, next one will be from Obama if there's elections, they are fair, and he is not assassinated!

First I want to say I am sick of the so called MSM experts saying how surprised they were as to the election turn out. There is no surprise here only a myriad of potential pitfalls and road blocks. Obama is the man! I would prefer Edwards in front but the people want Obama and he is not a blip. he is our next President unless any one of a myriad of nightmare scenarios crop up to keep the chief slime ball at the helm.

I am really pleased that we hopefully have only one more childish tantrum from Bushie to listen to. President Bush gets what may be his final chance to steer the public debate Monday night in his last State of the Union address. With his aides privately acknowledging the moments Bush can be relevant are dwindling, the president is expected to press for a shortened list of proposals. With his legacy in mind, he'll urge Congress to extend some key initiatives of his tenure: tax cuts, the No Child Left Behind law, the presence of U.S. troops in Iraq.
Bush will be speaking under circumstances different from before, however, with economic fears roiling the country and the war in Iraq and terrorism concerns in the background, at least temporarily. The president is expected to urge swift passage of a $150 billion economic-stimulus package of tax rebates and other measures, which House leaders and the White House — but not the Senate — have agreed to, according to White House officials and others. He'll also press for the extension of a law that allows expanded electronic eavesdropping, including on communications that transit U.S. territory. The law is scheduled to expire Friday. On foreign policy, the president is expected to argue that the buildup of nearly 30,000 additional U.S. troops in Iraq improved that country's security. He'll tout his administration's commitment to Israeli-Palestinian peace and its efforts against AIDS and hunger in the developing world, particularly in Africa. Bush's proposed last tantrum

Before I get on to Obama yesterday we discussed what appears to be an obvious comm. pack on his back and a camouflaged ear piece in his ear and the fact that someone was caught whispering answers to Romney during his debate. We can not have another president that is controlled by others. That said, all the ignorance Bush is going to rant in his UnPresidential address tomorrow should be once again ignored for our benefit with the exception of that tax rebate for Businesses as he will falsely use that against us saying we are hurting the poor and the working class who get no benefit out of it anyway as you and I know!

Now once again voter fraud accusations rear their head in relation to the electronic voting machines. That never ends and never will as long as those underhanded machines are used. Speaking of them I do not recall hearing anything about the New Hampshire recount. Plus I understand Florida who relies on those machines exclusively is very concerned and nervous if there is another close election. That is not the big issue to me. That is only one of the numerous tools available today to underhandedly control the outcome of an election as you all know.

* My big concern is what is incorrectly being called a non issue, Race, during the presidential race it will be an issue! it speaks well for us as Democrats but we are not the entire electorate. It speaks as to the worthlessness of the so called experts in the MSM who were once again wrong and say Obama's landslide victory redefines the race. Not for me, nothing has change. Obama is still a given!

This great news to me but brings with it memories and concern! Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign is expecting Massachusetts Sen. Ted Kennedy to endorse Barack Obama for president. A Clinton campaign source tells CNN's Suzanne Malveaux the campaign was told "that Ted Kennedy is endorsing Obama and expecting it." Kennedy's niece, Caroline Kennedy, endorsed Obama today in a New York Times op-ed entitled, "A President Like My Father." political ticker

** Now my very real, Deep concern: the MSM says Race is not a concern here and they are dead wrong.

** I absolutely expect an attempt on his life if it looks like he will be elected. That would be just one of the excuses that may be caused by Bush's interests but it would give Bush his chance to curtail elections due to great revolt by the masses and declare martial law keeping him at the helm of his new (dis)order Forever wars!

From wiretapped bush to Romney the whisperer, we cannot afford this underhanded crap again! I'm sick of the obvious being excused away!

First the underhanded mis-leader he wants to follow: Remember this and how often it happened? Does bush have a device under his jacket? Is it an ear piece a transmitter? These pictures are not imagination! I knew about the Bulge on his back under his jacket but I never noticed the ear piece before. Bulges earpieces this is not imagination
I just can't stand the underhanded crap we get routinely from the chief idiot. knowing he can barely speak I was wondering how he would be able to speak around the world routinely and now I know. Even with someone coaching him in his ear he still can't talk right. Knowing that Romney has bankrupt my State and now wants to follow Bush and do for America what he did for Massachusetts I am very concerned with his lying underhanded tactics. After watching that video of Tim Russet's question last night it was obvious Romney was being coached by someone. It is dismissed as something picked up from the outside but I doubt it. Anyway you excuse the whisper it gave him the answer and I am sick of this underhanded crap we get routinely and here we go again, getting it from Romney!

Here we go again! Did George Bush pass his bulge down to Mitt Romney? In 2004, Bush infamously had a giant, microphone like bump on his back during a debate against John Kerry. Rumors were flying that Bush had a direct line to Karl Rove during the debate and that Rove was feeding him answers to the questions (even though Bush turned in a terrible performance). Last night, Bush’s Bulge begat a cousin: the Romney Whisper. watch the youtube video and listen well
At last night’s debate, Tim Russert asked Romney if he would follow Reagan’s example on Social Security. Russert was careful not to tell Romney that Reagan raised taxes to help Social Security funds, so somebody else tried to tell Romney instead. After Russert finishes his question, a Lost-like whisper is heard that mutters, “Raise taxes.” Romney answered that he would not raise taxes, and then Russert giddily informed him that that’s not the case.

MSNBC was asked why the whisper came through, and MSNBC’s spokesman responded We heard the same thing you heard. There was obviously an open mike which picked up the whisper, but we have no way of knowing who did the whispering. So, who is the whisperer? We can't go through this again! Romney just had is George Bush moment we can not afford another George Bush wanabe Presidency.

Complicit Congress gives in to Bush as will the Complicit Senate as all fail to see the reality of the facade of concern while the true fix is ignored

First the Wing nut Cavutto stupidly said: You don't have to wait until November The election is over. those are not my words I am smarter than that. I will never underestimate the lying underhanded tactics of the Republicans to keep their corrupt hands in Power! He said: The Democrats have won. Big government is back. And it all happened today. hasn't it gotten bigger, less efficient, and more corrupt? He said: Because today republicans caved. Just like lately it seems they've always caved on spending programs that do little. And tax incentives that do even less. I do happen to agree that the tax incentives are worthless but that comes from his worthless Boss and the Complicit Congress!

I don't friggen get it! They've always been an embarrassment. Anyway he says: So in an election year where they could distinguish themselves, they have humiliated themselves. Actually trying to out-spend Democrats on stimulus they know will be brief, and have no problem being brief. They didn't out do themselves as usual they cut the poor short and gave to businesses. he said: Think about that. All those who have signed onto this $150 billion stimulus package know that it's a one-shot deal, a government-sponsored quick pick-me-up. They know the history on these things. no kidding I say no kidding! Remember who the Decider is!

lastly he said: The economy benefits will last about as long as my sugar craving And the government that Republicans say they wanted to get out of people's lives ends up ruling people's lives. Republicans lost Congress and have lost their way.Today they lost the presidency losing something else: Their soul. I have to agree that the benefits to the economy will be minimal at best, another wingnut dead wrong again
My God, I can't believe he doesn't realize everything is going as planned. Saying the right thing is merely to cover the real agenda of total control over average American's. True Conservatives have lost control don't worry conservativism, like Democracy and Religion are mere tools to be perverted as Bush's hidden agenda is followed. With his term running down it is about to unfold!
As we knew would happen the House has surrendered once again! Tens of millions Americans will have a check in the mail," House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-California, said at a Capitol Hill news conference. "It is there to strengthen the middle class, to create jobs and to turn this economy around." House Minority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, said, "I'm looking for quick action in the House. I hope that the Senate will follow quickly so that we can put this money in the hands of middle-income Americans as soon as possible."Speaking a few minutes later at the White House, President Bush said the package will "boost our economy and encourage job creation."

Sources on Capitol Hill and at the Treasury Department said the plan would send checks of $600 to individuals and $1,200 to couples who paid income tax and who filed jointly. People who did not pay federal income taxes but who had earned income of more than $3,000 would get checks of $300 per individual or $600 per couple. Those who earn up to $75,000 individually or up to $150,000 as a couple will be eligible for the payments, said Republican and Democratic sources familiar with the tentative deal. The agreement includes a robust package of business incentives and help for homeowners facing possible mortgage foreclosures. The Treasury Department still must analyze the numbers to determine the price tag of the stimulus package, sources said. The worthless House incentive plan

* Knowing that $600.00 will buy less than a months heat for our houses in the Northeast I would say this so called bail out will help the Businesses and Bush who will once again have the facade of concern for average Americans and doing the right thing, wrong! In the long run it will be worthless for our economy but with the $150 to $250 Bullion being borrowed from China it will benefit them ten fold. Not only do we have to borrow the money from them but most they make most of the products we buy so they will beginning to end be the prime benefactors thanks to Bush's wars and mismanagement!

* From the House the Bill goes to the Senate where I have heard the right thing voiced but Bush is happy with the package so you can bet he will push this through and if Deocrats look to help Average Americans or otherwise impede the little slime he will put a puclic outcry out to the people there by holding them Hostage to his demands once again. The Senate just caved in again as A White House plan to broaden the National Security Agency’s wiretapping powers won a key procedural victory in the Senate on Thursday, as backers defeated a more restrictive plan by Senate Democrats that would have imposed more court oversight on government spying. The vote moves the Bush administration a step closer toward the twin goals it has pursued for months: strengthening the N.S.A.’s ability to eavesdrop without court approval, while securing legal immunity for the phone companies that have helped the agency in its wiretapping operations. Complicit Senate gives in to Bush's wiretapping demands

* They will cave in to his demands on this so called incentive plan to help middle class American's and strengthen our economy. Meanwhile as I keep trying to highlight, what would really strengthen America and our crumbling infrastructure will again be ignored until another crisis occurs. We know from recent past experience that the people will be placated and nothing will be done. Remember the Bridge disaster in Minneapolis. Nothing has come from Bush's promises as expected and the State is still working on what to do it themselves. Knowing that Maintenance on highways, bridges, dams, and water treatment systems is a convenient place to cut corners when politicians need to appear tough on spending, since the results of routine upkeep are not flashy. But perpetual underfunding and deferred maintenance accelerates structural decay and contributes to disasters, as in the cases of the New Orleans levees or Minneapolis bridge. It’s time to make planes, trains, and automobiles safe again and restore the jewels of American ingenuity and engineering.

Our bridges are crumbling. 590,750:Number of bridges in the United States. 160,570: Number of bridges in the United States rated structurally deficient or functionally obsolete* as of 2003. It’s not just bridges. The 50-year-old interstate highway system is decaying and in need of modernization, too. Funding levels aren’t even adequate for basic maintenance. And it’s not just bridges and roads. Infrastructure of all types faces neglect and funding shortfalls. Tunnels, Dams, everything is failing and Bush wants to ignore it while giving the wealthy back more taxes? If he cared about Average American's and our America not his, he would do just what I suggest. How can he be this openly ignorant?

** With yesterdays rate cut of of 3/4 of a point that was called unprecedented and significant along with proposed tax incentives and indications from the Fed that there is more help coming if needed I have to say that there will have to be more help to come because this will get a lot worse. With that said there is any easy answer to this that will of course be ignored but would kill at least 2 or 3 birds with one stone. *There is an easy long term 2 part fix to this if helping average American's and our America was Bush's goal.

1. It seems to me that like everything else Bush does his plan is counterproductive. As usual he wants to help those that do not need it and ignore those that do in his creation of a new societal order! This will be a big fight and Bush will cry again until he gets his way. I say give a rebate to the 44 million households who would put it right back into the economy and under Bush's plan would get nothing. I do hear a move in this direction but we will see. Anyway The wealthy will just save it as they do not need it to survive which is purposely getting harder for average Americans under Bush.

2. Put average Americans back to work in meaningful constructive jobs that would rebuild our America and her failing infrastructure. The Interstate Highway System turned 50 last year, but the government neglected to give the system a much-needed birthday present. The government at all levels consistently underfunds infrastructure projects, from dams, bridges, and highways to aviation, railroads, and water systems. The tragic collapse of the I-35 bridge in Minneapolis was a wake up call to pay attention to our decaying infrastructure. But really, this bridge is the third wake up call for the United States to reevaluate how we treat critical infrastructure. The first was 9/11, which showed us that infrastructure is vulnerable to terrorism. Hurricane Katrina was a second wake up call, which showed us that infrastructure is vulnerable to natural disasters. This time, we know that infrastructure is vulnerable to use, age, and neglect. along with growing corruption as proven by Boston's Big Dig Boondoggle and we see examples of daily.

** I am sick of Bush mismanagement and Democratic complicity! We have been failed by our State and Federal Officials on every level and a rate cut or tax refund is not going to get us out of this still developing problem. We are helping the Chinese not us! We the people must actively get involved and be an active part of the solution. The corruption also must be stopped and we have got to be able to hold all parties including the Government accountable for criminal negligence and corruption!

We will survive however with growing climatic destruction and a growing permanent hungry nomadic world population remember the Movie Soylent Green?

We will survive however with growing climatic destruction and a growing permanent hungry nomadic world population remember Soylent Green?
As I look at this mornings sobering news and how it will in fact directly Impact ours and the worlds future I remember past stories as to what we in fact are facing and sadly I am 100% a realist who looks at the big picture. this morning I am haunted by a picture of the two chief warmongers of the world Cheney and Bush as Cheney with his snide, hateful, kill, cur is demanding immunity for companies that have been spying against us so our future can continue to be controlled! Congress is Complicit and again will give in. Our leaders will wimp out again
Please read that because I want to focus on the future! I saw this story about the situation between Israel, Gaza, and Egypt, and it reinforced my portend for the future!

Palestinians, running out of fuel, food and other supplies after Israel closed Gaza border crossings, poured into Egypt through blown-out and torn-down breaches in the border wall. Egyptian guards stood by without intervening, and Egypt's Foreign Ministry spokesman announced that the nation would remain open to the needy "as long as this is a humanitarian crisis." "We are not opening the Rafah crossing just for everybody to cross -- we're opening it because it's a very dire humanitarian situation," said spokesman Hassam Zaki. Growing chaos as 50,000 break through the border

Alert! This reminded me of two recurrent themes as we head into the future. First we see what is happening in Africa and around the world as the climate changes becoming more caustic to human life and increasing wars creating a growing hungry, nomadic, world population that we are not going to be able to sustain as we would like. We discussed four months ago that We are creating a permanent nomadic immigration population of the entire middle east if not the world with a couple countries as islands! I ask you to please check this out as I got this compliment from our friend Chuck for looking at and alerting as to the big Picture: That's something I hadn't even considered Jim. I mean I read about people fleeing for their lives and have seen some of the pictures, but I hadn't thought of the creation of a nomadic lifestyle (culture?) by war. Thanks for expanding things again for all of us as you look at "the big picture". More people should. What we are creating in the middle east and around the world

With that said I want to remind you of our discussion three months ago that our climate will be our biggest threat as we attempt to survive into the future! There was a report released raising the threat of dramatic population migrations, wars over water and resources, and a realignment of power among nations. During the last two decades, climate scientists have underestimated how quickly the Earth is changing — perhaps to avoid being branded as "alarmists," the study said. But policy planners should count on climate-induced instability in critical parts of the world within 30 years.

The report was compiled by a panel of security and climate specialists, sponsored by the Center for Strategic and International Studies and the Center for a New American Security. The Associated Press received an advance copy. Climate change is likely to breed new conflicts, but it already is magnifying existing problems, from the desertification of Darfur and competition for water in the Middle East to the disruptive monsoons in Asia, which increase the pressure for land, the report said.

At the very least, the report said, the U.S. can expect more population migrations, both internally and from across its borders; a proliferation of diseases; greater conflict in weak states, especially in Africa where climates will change most drastically; and a restructuring in global power in line with the accessibility of natural resources. Left unchecked, "the collapse and chaos associated with extreme climate change futures would destabilize virtually every aspect of modern life," said the report, comparing the potential outcome with the Cold War doomsday scenarios of a nuclear holocaust. There is quite a backlash scenario. Please read it
Anyway, as we watch the threat in America and never see the situation remedied but rather allowed to worsen as Bush follows his nightmare scenario, Everything else aside here I am reminded of Katrina and how those poor people were hung out to dry and still Bush is refusing to fund much needed projects as we and the world are purposely allowed to fall into disrepair and another dire scenario we are facing as we try to move successfully into the future we also discussed four months ago. Noting the world is racing to another world war and knowing our weapons are too powerful for man or the planet to survive it and the fact that the environment is turning on us and much of the world is running out of fresh water I first wondered why Areas such as Georgia and many of the areas around the ocean and world do not turn to desalinization as this problem did not crop up over night.

I then decided to Google water wars as I know there are many problems developing daily around the world as countries harness water sources running through their land and was horrified at what I was finding. There were 136,000 stories encompassing water wars around the world. Let alone within ones own boundaries. What the hell is wrong with the world? We are already at war! We are already in the fight of our lives, why are we racing to end them? The Washington Post had a good article. Global warming will intensify drought, and it will intensify floods: As the air gets warmer, there will be more water in the atmosphere. That’s settled science. Where the atmosphere is configured to have high pressure and droughts, global warming will mean long, dry periods. Where the atmosphere is configured to be wet, you will get more rain, more gully washers.”

The droughts will be especially bad. How bad? Richard Seager, a senior researcher at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University, looked at 19 computer models of the future under current global warming trends. He found remarkable consistency: Sometime before 2050, the models predicted, the Southwest will be gripped in a dry spell akin to the Great Dust Bowl drought that lasted through most of the 1930s. Droughts and water shortages already been driving conflict around the globe: The potential for conflict is more than theoretical. Turkey, Syria and Iraq bristle over the Euphrates and Tigris rivers. Sudan, Ethiopia and Egypt trade threats over the Nile. The United Nations has said water scarcity is behind the bloody wars in Sudan’s Darfur region. In Somalia, drought has spawned warlords and armies. Already, the World Health Organization says, 1 billion people lack access to potable water. In northern China, retreating glaciers and shrinking wetlands that feed the Yangtze River prompted researchers to warn that water supplies for hundreds of millions of people may be at risk. Water wars will worsen
Water has emerged as a key issue that could determine if Asia is headed toward cooperation or competition. No country would influence that direction more than China, which controls the Tibetan plateau, the source of most major rivers of Asia. Tibet's vast glaciers and high altitude have endowed it with the world's greatest river systems. Its rivers are a lifeline to the world's two most-populous states - China and India - as well as to Bangladesh, Burma, Bhutan, Nepal, Cambodia, Pakistan, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam. These countries make up 47 percent of the global population.

Yet Asia is a water-deficient continent. Although home to more than half of the human population, Asia has less fresh water - 3,920 cubic meters per person - than any continent other than the Antarctica and China is taking it. The looming struggle over water resources in Asia has been underscored by the spread of irrigated farming, water-intensive industries and a growing middle class that wants high water-consuming comforts like washing machines and dishwashers. Household water consumption in Asia is rising rapidly, although several major economies there are acutely water-stressed. The specter of water wars in Asia is also being highlighted by climate change and environmental degradation in the form of shrinking forests and swamps that foster a cycle of chronic flooding and droughts. The Himalayan snow melt that feeds Asia's great rivers could be accelerated by global warming. Man am I naive! Yesterday I couldn't understand China's wanting to control Tibet, the Himalaya's, and the Dali Lama, today I know. Asia's water wars
This is a crisis that will only worsen every day around the world . Tens of millions of Americans have or are migrating to the southern and western states where there are many areas of chronic water shortages (duh). Now Governor Bill Richardson has fired the first shot, suggesting a national water policy, which is shorthand for stealing water from the Great Lakes. Rust belters are outraged, some suggesting we sell Richardson water at $80.00 a barrel. Vegas, probably the fastest growing area in the country, is sucking as much from the Colorado as it can, and will still have major shortages, perhaps within months. The Great Lakes are in a low cycle and any diversion would probably be an ecological disaster. I was looking at the links that follow and the Great lakes are being fought over as we speak and America is already experiencing water wars as well as much of the world. Please look at the overwhelming amount of stories on The worlds water wars

** The world is already at war with our shrinking changing environment a war we are bound to lose. I cannot comprehend the world racing to another world war that will only serve to seal all of their demise even sooner. What is wrong with us? looking at all the unfolding terrible scenarios unfolding before us as we attempt to move into the future I am reminded of the moves depicting our horrific future we all grew up with. As I watch the world breakdown, the climate becoming increasingly hostile, and our world population exploding with us already unable to feed them, a movie that was once thought unfathomable now begins to look closer to reality. You remember the 1973 sci-fi movie Solyent Green Solyent Green was made out of people

I do not see quite a horrible scenario but I have to wonder what we will be driven to in our desire to survive?

A warning of the future to come: Boston's Federally funded Big Dig Debacle and Today's Federally mandated economic rescue, heed must be paid!

I woke this morning to cries of disgust on the radio as to the so called "restitution" being paid by those responsible for the Big Dig Boondoggle. I have written extensively of it in the past primarily because the project started with good intentions as a $2 Billion dollar tunnel Project under the Charles River. Plagued by corruption right from the beginning I warned of the dangers to life and limb due to the fact that there was no oversight amidst warnings of corners being cut at every turn and major leaks even years ago that warned that someday the tunnel would return to the sea!

Today with innumerable leaks amounting to millions of gallons monthly the project ballooned to a cost of $16 Billion under Republican Romney who destituted Massachusetts and wants to continue Bush's Destitution of America as our President. Now after promises of constant oversight from Romney which never materialized, Whoops I'm sorry it was overlooked, and Billions added by Bush because he had hopes of having Massachusetts in his pocket again with no oversight, the enormity of the federally funded disaster has been known to some of us from the beginning but is starting to be felt by some officials here in Boston as they realize $400 million is a slap in the face and it may not even cover the repair costs to come in the future. I will guarantee you it will not. With so far one dead due to a roof that was built from inadequate compromised material and labor and laughingly held up by glue, the death toll will grow and Bechtel under the agreement can live and do this to the State and the country once again as no one once again admits to wrong doing and they are not held accountable.

The state and Big Dig contractors are reportedly close to announcing a settlement worth 400 million dollars that would cover costs related to leaks, design problems and the fatal tunnel collapse. That's according to a person close the negotiations who spoke on condition of anonymity because the deal hasn't been made public. That person confirmed a WBZ-TV report that says the agreement would be announced in the coming days. The attorney general's office refused comment. Under the settlement, project managers Bechtel Parsons Brinkerhoff would not face criminal charges in the July 2006 death of Milena Del Valle in the tunnel ceiling collapse. But they would be liable for any future accidents related to the Big Dig. In December, a separate company that provided the epoxy blamed in the tunnel collapse agreed to a 6 million dollar settlement with the woman's family. The slap in your face settlement

Amidst this federally funded and enabled Disaster we worthlessly hear that The House is set to pass a national highway tunnel inspection program to try to prevent tragedies such as the Big Dig's fatal ceiling collapse. Congressman Michael Capuano says he expects the measure to be approved. There are no national standards for tunnel inspections. A federal transportation safety panel report on the 2006 Big Dig accident that killed a mother of three called for a national tunnel inspection program similar to the one already used for bridges. One of the report's major finding was that the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority failed to implement a timely tunnel inspection program to detect flaws. The Senate is expected to take up the bill later this year.

That is worthless! With all the talk of Peace while preparing for war in the middle east and around the world how safe do you feel? time to Reset the Doomsday clock?

I woke up this morning very confused waking up to the news and hearing the childish bickering of those running for the Presidency and it reaffirmed to me that these people do not have a clue as to how serious ours and the worlds situation is today. I saw a daily reminder that the Iran issue will not go away and Bush will not allow it to until he finds an excuse to attack them. more stories on violence in Pakistan and the vulnerability of her nuclear weapons. Iran is having her own troubles but Bush insists on instigating world war. Yesterday I noticed a reaffirmation of Russia's willingness to use a nuclear first strike and knowing Bush's insistence on putting the missile shield on Russia's door step to instigate Russia to war you have to be very concerned about that.

Seeing the volatility of the stock market and the way our situation is affecting the entire world, after discussions yesterday as to whether or not a financial collapse would be the trigger for Bush to take control of America by whatever means and really get his plan for new societal, middle east, and world(dis)order going. This is not a secure future Bush has set the stage for! All the conflicting negative chaotic information I saw this morning from around the world made me revisit a story I first wrote two years ago!

Anyway On 1/17/07 the Doomsday Clock was reset to 5 minutes of midnight supposedly because of North Korea’s recent test of a nuclear weapon, Iran’s alleged nuclear ambitions, a renewed U.S. emphasis on the military utility of nuclear weapons, the failure to adequately secure nuclear materials, and the continued presence of some 26,000 nuclear weapons in the United States and Russia. Experts assessing the dangers posed to civilization have added climate change to the prospect of nuclear annihilation as the greatest threats to humankind. they are forgetting so much it isn't funny! The Doomsday clock, who controls it and how accurate is it

In light of all this and a lot more let's Discuss the resetting of the Doomsday Clock: Does the world have a clue just how tenuous the situation is? How secure do you feel? As you may know, in 1953 the Doomsday clock had gotten as close as 2 minutes to Midnight because if the nuclear standoff between Russia and the United States. Last April we discussed how fragile peace was around the world and the fact that many Nations were threatening the willingness to prosecute a nuclear first strike and the clock stayed at 7 minutes to Midnight!.

* We have Iran wanting nuclear capabilities, Now they supposedly have them or are at least closer. Depending on who you believe.

* We had a nuclear first strike threat from France that of course still stands.

* Britain left all options on the table when posed the question and of course still does.

* We know Israel had announced the right to a preemptive strike using whatever it takes. We hear they are practicing to take out Iran's nuclear interests with a strategic low level preemptive nuclear strike in which they supposedly will neutralize all Iranian nuclear capabilities. I wouldn't think so but we also know Bush will have the ability to come to their defense when they do, As he has 3 carrier Battle Groups in the Gulf area, 2 Patriot missile batteries to defend Bush's interests, and a Fleet Admiral now in charge in the middle east. What a coincidence? Iran is now totally surrounded, Plus it gets a lot worse.

**India and Pakistan, traditional enemies both possess nuclear weapons and are more of a concern to me because Bush has now decided to share knowledge with India but not Pakistan and they are imploding?!

* Russia and China announced they would use them if they have to! You know they will and with both Nations cooperating militarily and building up along with Russia still supplying Iran with missiles to defend against Bush you have to wonder how that will all end up?

*To me most disconcerting is still knowing Bush will use them preemptively and seems to be setting the stage for an imminent show down that will include what Nations in the end? On top of all this and more we have finally an admission as to our many problems and scientists have decided the Doomsday clock should be moved back only 2 minutes, now to 5 minutes before Midnight. Do you think we are safer than we were during the cold war? To me the cold war only got colder on top of everything else.

Anyway The decision to move the clock forward reflects "growing concerns" about a "second nuclear age." as it damn well should. Plus This change reflects global failures to combat nuclear threats and global warming and as you mat believe or not, we have all been feeling the worsening affects whether they are natural or not. In addressing the threat posed by the use of a nuclear weapon. scientist now realize that it would be civilization-ending at this point in the planets Life Cycle!
Scientists at least, realize that as we stand at the brink of a second nuclear age and at the onset of unprecedented climate change, our way of thinking about the uses and control of technologies must change to prevent unspeakable destruction and future human suffering. I am just afraid that it is too late to think about it all now.

* Whether you believe in Nostradamus or not, he gave us two scenarios at this juncture in life. We had two roads we could follow into the future. We could take the peaceful road down a successful road into the future or we could take the road into conflict that would lead to destruction of man and the planet as we know them. * Sadly man seems to have chosen the 2nd road and with nuclear conflagration staring us in the face: We seem to be leading the way to our demise !
*Knowing the Doomsday clock was first set at 7 minutes before Midnight. Moving as close to 2 minutes before Midnight and being moved back on occasion. With all the threats to use nuclear weapons, with Iran saying they will use them if they have them, and now hearing how close they may be to possessing them even by their own admission and a showdown shaping up in the middle east along with the threats already there to our planet and thus our survival I have to ask. * None of us feel safe, I know. What I want to know is do you think it is time to move the Doomsday clock one minute to Midnight? Where should it be set?

Yesterday I discussed this so called recession and the obvious answer to it. Today the world reacts, Its beginning. The second great Depression, Remember who was in office last time!
Yesterday the discussion was about whose answer to our problem was better, bush's or the Democrats. I thought we had a fantastic answer and the answer as usual is neither one. Each side of the aisle as is the norm ignores what is right for the average American and our failing America as they continue to play their usual childish games. If really solving our problems the goal would be to Help the poor and put America to work Rebuilding our rapidly failing infrastructure
I have been warning for years now what was going to happen when reality caught up to the house of cards Bush has created. Despite his trying to stave it off it is rapidly approaching and the world is reacting.

Stocks fell sharply worldwide on Monday following declines on Wall Street last week amid investor pessimism over the U.S. government's stimulus plan to prevent a recession. U.S. markets were closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, but the downbeat mood from last week's market declines there circled through Europe, Asia and Canada. The U.K. benchmark FTSE-100 dropped 4.7 percent to 5,625.20; France's CAC-40 Index plunged 5.9 percent to 4,793.39, while Germany's blue-chip DAX 30 slumped 6.74 percent to 6,821.42. In Asia, India's benchmark stock index tumbled 7.4 percent, while Hong Kong's blue-chip Hang Seng index plummeted 5.5 percent to 23,818.86, its biggest percentage drop since the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks. Canadian stocks fell as well, with the S&P/TSX composite index on the Toronto Stock Exchange down 4.8 percent. In Brazil, stocks plunged 6.9 percent on the main index of Sao Paulo's Bovespa exchange.

Concerns about the outlook for the U.S. economy, a major export market for Asian companies, has sent the region's markets sliding in 2008. Just last Wednesday, the Hang Seng index sank 5.4 percent. "It's another horrible day," said Francis Lun, a general manager at Fulbright Securities in Hong Kong. "Today it's because of disappointment that the U.S. stimulus [package] is too little, too late and investors feel it won't help the economy recover." Japan's benchmark Nikkei 225 index slid 3.9 percent to close at 13,325.94 points, its lowest close in more than two years. China's Shanghai Composite index plunged 5.1 percent, partly on worries about mainland Chinese banks' exposure to risky U.S. mortgage investments. "People are certainly nervous about a potential recession in the U.S. spilling over to the rest of the world," said David Cohen, Director of Asian Economic Forecasting at Action Economics in Singapore. they will blow this too for the world

Oil prices also fell Monday in Asia as concern over the U.S. economy drove down regional stock markets and outweighed concern that OPEC will resist pressure to raise crude production levels. Oil prices have now retreated more than $10 from a record above $100 a barrel early this year on worries a flagging U.S. economy would dampen fuel demand. Prices had gained Friday on hopes that President George W. Bush's economic stimulus plan would work. But most stock markets have since reacted pessimistically, uncertain Bush's plan is enough to stave off a severe economic downturn in the world's largest oil consumer. Asian markets plunged Monday, with benchmark indices in Hong Kong and China both dropping more than 5%. On Friday in the U.S., the Dow Jones industrials fell 0.5% after Bush announced a $145 billion tax relief package. our economy is even affecting oil

the Peruvian stock market of course is small but it was so bad they had to close. The world is rightly panicked but this breakdown too will continue thanks to Bush's ineptitude and lies! At last check Dow futures were down almost 500 points. That is Big! After the heavy losses nursed by Asian and European stock markets, U.S. stock futures are pointing to huge losses when markets re-open on Tuesday. Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 476 points, the S&P 500 futures contract fell 62 points and the Nasdaq 100 futures contract declined 81 points. Continuing selloff

You know both sides are on either side of the right answer and will not come together or solve this problem as it rapidly develops and affects the entire world as they continue to play their routine childish games while we fall apart. With that said I will repeat for the umpteenth time that this is no recession. This is the beginning of The second Great Depression

Mike Whitney laid out the scenario a year ago. Bush's hiding of the facts, allowance of unmonitored abuse of all facets of the country, and Alan Greenspan's complicity set the stage once again for a financial meltdown. The perfect US and World destructive perfect storm. I went so far as predicting a Dow 10,000 and it is coming. Six months ago I did a comparison as to the comparisons of the First Great Depression and I wish people could have thought about and learn form who was in control the last time this happened. Eighty years ago it was also the Repuclicans

Tuesday is shaping up to be a hell of a day pointing to our future!

The CIA was complicit with Pakistan's ISI and let 9/11 occur do they really think we the Pakistani's believe their Lies of Al Qaeda killing Benazir?

I wanted to discuss Bush's new farce of Tax cuts. Under his proposal they will help the rich and businesses who do not need them and the poor who need them will get enough to heat their house for a month. I will guarantee you the chief idiot will get his way so Democrats do not look like they do not want to help the country. Knowing the underhanded beehive will get his way again I figured I would welcome any discussion on that subject but wanted to discuss the complicit CIA going to bat for Musharraf and Pakistan's ISI once again!

First some history! The complicity is well documented but as usual, denied! They can't really think they have any credibility? The 911 movie, press for truth has got to be the very best movie exposing the 9/11 cover up. Bush, Rice, Cheney, the FBI, CIA, everyone of them said over and over that there was no forewarning that terrorists were going to strike and that planes could be used as missiles to bring down buildings. They all lied about Pakistan's involvement. Why should we believe the CIA now? Especially in light of what they are continuing to do against us and for Bush. The movie documents factually that we heard in 1995 that planes may be used but never concerned ourselves about it. We received multiple warnings prior to 9/11 that terrorists were around, planes would be used, and the towers were coming down. Surprising to me was that prior to 9/11 one of the hijackers backed out and turned himself in, telling authorities what was going to happen. He was given 2 lie detector tests that he passed with ease. I don't recall who in the Administration said it. But they were told to let him go and send him back to London.

9/11 was allowed to happen for a reason! Once it did occur we attacked Afghanistan of course. As you remember, Bin laden and many of the leadership were trapped in Tora Bora. In the past I have said Bin Laden was allowed to escape so bush could use him to keep fervor up and Afghani's were credited with being responsible for his escape. We knew there were four ways out and only guarded three. We gave them a way out. The CIA and others knew this and let him escape to Pakistan, how are we supposed to believe them? Not only that but I vaguely remember hearing about a 1,000 car caravan but it was never mentioned that we were bombing the area around it but allowed the 1,000 car caravan carrying the Bin Laden entourage to escape into Pakistan and at night, come on. Now this part really irks me and I for one never heard anything about it and still don't. As far as I am concerned Pakistan is no friend of America's and will partner with India and turn on us when the time comes. We also heard over and over how Bush would track down any Al Qaeda finances and try anyone involved. He made a big deal out of the fact that someone outed the fact that we were checking out electronic transfers etc. Something he himself announced.

When I watched the movie and find out that the head of the Pakistani ISI transferred $100,000 to Muhammad Atta just prior to the 9/11 attacks. This gets worse. Primarily because not only do we have records of this financing as well as pictures but we ignored it and supposedly are in cahoots with them. What happened to anyone caught aiding, abetting, or financing terrorism being hunted down? To make it worse, the joke of a sideshow they called the 9/11 commission hearings was an obvious farce. Again I ask, how are we suppose to trust the FBI,CIA, and especially Bush's Government which is taking total control of us through lies and secret laws?

We knew Rice and others were lying and Bush and Cheney were allowed to hold hands and lie together (take that any way you want). I think I vaguely remember hearing this but like everything else it was dismissed as insignificant. Anyway, the guy who ran Bush's election campaign if I remember correctly, is the one running the commission hearings. He was the one who decided what was significant and what wasn't as well as what questions could be asked. What the hell is that. This entire thing was stacked against the truth and the facts getting out. It is our duty as Americans to hold these liars accountable. We owe it to the victims. We owe it to our children. We owe it to our history and we owe it to ourselves and this underhanded crap just continues! How? Why?

To reiterate, 9/11 was allowed to happen. As you may remember, Bush was looking for something to happen that would put the country and the world behind what he already had plans to do. 9/11 gave him that something. He had plans right from the beginning to establish a new societal, middle east, and world order. That is why it was important to him to whip up a media and public fury which of course, he has done. Bush and the CIA have been complicit with Pakistan from the beginning. They can't seriously think we or the Pakistani's believe them when they come to Musharrafs aid again?

As you know, I am convinced that the ISI and musharraf sympathizers murdered her. Amidst increasing violence that will not be quelled Pakistani forts are falling in the tribal areas along the border with Afghanistan. This is just the beginning and this breakdown too will not be averted then Bush will get us in deeper and over the lie called Al Qaeda. For some reason the CIA thinks they have credibility. They are complicit and as dirty as Bush and Musharraf. they stupidly think they can make Musharrafs lies believable, wrong!
Anyway what a surprise, the complicit CIA agrees with Musharrafs lies. The CIA believes extremists associated with a Pakistani tribal leader are responsible for the assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, according to a U.S. intelligence official. The official, who spoke under condition of anonymity, said the agency concluded that Baitullah Mehsud -- the leader of the Pakistani Taliban who has ties to al Qaeda -- was behind the attack. The Pakistani government was quick to blame Mehsud's organization for Bhutto's death in December, producing an intercepted audio communication in which Mehsud confirmed his men were responsible for the attack. The U.S. intelligence community was first cautious about drawing the same conclusion as the Pakistanis. But after reviewing various other intelligence, the CIA agreed Mehsud played a role in Bhutto's killing, the U.S. official said.

* The CIA viewpoint was first made known in a Washington Post interview with CIA Director Gen. Michael Hayden published Friday. "This was done by that network around Baitullah Mehsud. We have no reason to question that," Hayden told the newspaper. Mehsud operates out of the tribal areas of northwestern Pakistan. Pakistani officials have blamed Mehsud's forces for a number of attacks directed against the government, including one this week in which Islamic militants overran a military outpost in South Waziristan. U.S. officials and terrorism experts are increasingly worried about the stability of Pakistan. The Pakistani Taliban and al Qaeda have drawn closer ideologically over the past couple of years and see themselves at war with the Pakistani state, CNN terrorism analyst Peter Bergen said at a conference at a Washington think tank Wednesday. He pointed to the growing number of attacks against Pakistani government officials and the ISI, the country's intelligence service. CIA agrees with Musharraf
** what a surprise. There is no doubt that many Pakistani's in general want to kill Musharraf and his complicit ISI. That I am sure is true but I do not believe Al Qaeda killed Benazir Bhutto. How can you possibly believe these lying idiots? The CIA and Bush think they can stop Pakistan's breakdown? And by lying again? Forget it! This breakdown is just another step in all out war that I call Bush's new (dis)order Forever War and it will not be avoided because the truth being it is desired! Tell me what you think about this please!
