Events in Iran are developing too rapidly! Like it or not Ahmadinejad stole the election and Iran is a dictatorship. Ahmadinejad announced he will go to the UN and announce Iran is a world leader and has become one because of force. He will say if any of you defy Iran raise your hand now. Anyone who raises a hand against Iran will have it cut off. Anyway you look at is these developments in Iran are not good for Israel, the middle east, the US, and indeed the entire world.

Is this 1979 all over again? So far there are 7 killed and 7 wounded. There are competing rallies getting ready to start and there are large amounts of under cover Government forces shadowing and mingling with Mousavi supporters.This is not going to be good. Pray for those people! Remember when Ahmadinejad said Iran belongs to the core of the people? From what I have seen the Revolutionary Guard are considered the "core of the people" to Ahmadinejad. The Revolutionary Guard accused Mousavi of trying to hold a velvet Revolution and vowed Ahmadinejad would win the election. It was a selection not an election and all bets are now off. Iran whether we or the good citizens of Iran like it or not, will now be more belligerent than ever.

At first with all the enthusiasm of the people Obama was right to come out and said he was pleased with the robust turnout and display of Democracy. That was before the election was stolen. The White House is quiet now and rightly so. It was wrong to come out and decry Obama for saying that! I was also dismayed when Khamanei came out and gave the turnout his blessing. I am now happy to hear that because of all the dissent over the obvious fraud that he has ordered the election investigated. Whether or not that means anything remains to be seen. I doubt if there will be independent overseers!

People came out in the millions to vote for Mousavi not Ahmadinejad! They wanted change, jobs, sexual equality, peace with America, and no more Holocaust denial. Obviously whoever is really pressing the buttons in Iran does not want that but want a continuation of hostility. Our elections were stolen by Bush so he could continue his Fascist agenda. Iran just got theirs and hopefully they and we along with the middle east and the world will survive this too.

Ahmadinejad said the large turnout proved proved their Democracy works. What the large turnout and Ahmadinejad's so called reelection proved was Iran was not a Democracy and like it or not it was now a Dictatorship! People are rightly incensed. They came out in droves to get rid of Ahmadinejad. People are saying they have never been so angry. Because of the growing anger there has been a clampdown but watch, the real clampdown is yet to come.

In the heart of Iran there were angry Mousavi supporters roaming the streets getting beat up by police or someone. However right now after hearing from Mousavi that they should protest peacefully they are en masse just roaming the streets. There are protests so far peaceful around the world for what it is worth.

Mousavi rightly wants the election nullified by the Guardian Council but I really do not see that happening though a do over would be nice. High turnouts in the past have always favored moderates, reformers, in the same numbers that were "supposedly" given to Ahmadinejad. There is no way this election would have gone in their direction it did. Ahmadinejad in essence has set a bomb in the middle east.

Ex Revolutionary Guard Ahmadinejad has too much power as President. I am hearing that there is fear that Iran has become another Egypt in that in that the military has real control. I fear they are right and that is very troubling because they appear to be looking for a fight. Ahmadinejad is going to ignore Obama's open hand and continue his clenched fist policies. I do not like what I see for the future here and thus the entire world.

The Battle lines have been drawn. This so called war on terror is actually a war between Iran and the west and Ahmadinejad wants it to continue not end. We will all pay! The world has been put on alert! Ahmadinejad said Iran shows force but we will talk peace. Yeah! We are in for major turmoil with Iran and Ahmadinejad is ready and willing.

It was disturbing and telling to me to see that Ahmadinejad would not guarantee Mousavi's safety. At the very least he should be guarded by the Revolutionary Guard but in actuality they are who he has to fear. Khatemei has ordered the charges of election fraud investigated but what is that worth? Is that just to quell the dissent to this Dictatorship?

Average Iranian's now realize President Obama is not their enemy the Mullah's are. The Mullah's are scared to death of Mousavi and his message. You are seeing the consequences of that, a stolen election and the clamping down of all opposition to the dictatorship. It is disturbing and troubling that those that perpetrated this injustice are going to get away with supposedly investigating it. To me that will only guarantee further anger and unrest.

In closing I want to ask a question! I mean really, how on earth did the Iranian Government manage to count 40 million votes so quickly and announce victory for Ahmadinejad? Israel, the middle east, the US, and indeed the entire world is in trouble now unless the Iranian people can do something about this. President Obama has warned America's military in the middle east to stand down and avoid any confrontation with the Revolutionary Guard. We remember the past confrontations or should I say instigation's. This is a real crisis! What's next?

To explain Obama's latest gaffe, currently playing all over the airwaves. Speaking at a fundraiser in San Francisco, the hippie heart of the great 60s Satan, Obama made some casual remarks about the good citizens of Pennsylvania and the Mid-west, suggesting that "they haven't had jobs for twenty five years, they're bitter, they cling on to their guns, their religion...". Mr. Change was speaking loosely, because it was a closed event. Yet of course there are no closed events these days. He was right! It was not a gaffe but by his opponents was made into one to be used in their favor and twisting the truth against him!

As usual, they were not casual remarks little pieces were picked from the whole! They were correct and measured as the words of a politically naive would be. Obama is damn right and it is worse than that. However Hillary jumped right on it and twisted it to use in her favor and against Barack to deflect from her own lies and inequities. Her and McCain have a lot of B's calling Obama elitist when McCain is worth incomprehensible hundreds of millions and Billary just finally announced her hidden tax returns stating in the last 7 years they have earned $109 million much of it in the middle east more then questionably. I hate the friggen games. I just wish too god instead of buying into the childish same old Political games Obama would reiterate the facts on MSM and force those other idiots to confront the horror really facing us and the world.

First I want to say I am sick of the so called MSM experts saying how surprised they were as to the election turn out. There is no surprise here only a myriad of potential pitfalls and road blocks. Obama is the man! I would prefer Edwards in front but the people want Obama and he is not a blip. he is our next President unless any one of a myriad of nightmare scenarios crop up to keep the chief slime ball at the helm.

I am really pleased that we hopefully have only one more childish tantrum from Bushie to listen to. President Bush gets what may be his final chance to steer the public debate Monday night in his last State of the Union address. With his aides privately acknowledging the moments Bush can be relevant are dwindling, the president is expected to press for a shortened list of proposals. With his legacy in mind, he'll urge Congress to extend some key initiatives of his tenure: tax cuts, the No Child Left Behind law, the presence of U.S. troops in Iraq.

Plus I understand Florida who relies on those machines exclusively is very concerned and nervous if there is another close election. That is not the big issue to me. That is only one of the numerous tools available today to underhandedly control the outcome of an election as you all know.

A force of special forces advisors should be left in Iraq with air support at their immediate disposal if things should get out of control. We will be able to quickly evaluate how much Iraq wants unity and act accordingly. If outside forces start interfering we will be able to deal with that. The vast majority of our forces can redeploy from whence they came, Kuwait because they will be needed elsewhere in the area regardless of what we want.

** This would leave the largest mass of troops and equipment on foreign soil prepared for deployment since D day! Whoever is elected I am afraid neutralizing Bush's American Nazification program will be the easy part though any and all of it will be monumental in task! Between Iran and Pakistan if not any of the other potential reasons coming down the pike, our forces like it or not will at the very least be needed in the middle east area! Obama will do us justice let's not lose sight of Bush's Politics of interference and the whole picture of the future that'll no longer be controlled!

After last nights focus on the debates in New Hampshire and seeing the often childish games played by Politicians on both sides of the aisle I woke up focused on the debates until I started responding to comments on yesterdays story that reminded me that when I diverted to focus on the continuing voting machine problem the big problem I said I would get back to today was growing while our attention is focused on the debates. That is the problem of Bush changing America and the world so it fits into his idea of the world for the future. I.e. unity!

First I have to say that I am as excited as anybody to see that Obama and Edwards are doing well. I do realize though that I want to see them continue to do well and I will keep abreast of events I cannot influence events in New Hampshire so I will refocus on the big picture. Edwards and Obama are big boys and good men. They know what they have to do. They will take care of business until their fate is in all or our hands if we are lucky.

I was struck with two issues that will influence our future and the future of the world that we must stay with. Yesterday I talked again about the electronic voting machines and how they were not getting enough attention and time was running out to replace them. Today good news on that front.

* With the presidential race in full swing, Colorado and other states have found critical flaws in the accuracy and security of their electronic voting machines, forcing officials to scramble to return to the paper ballots they abandoned after the Florida debacle of 2000. In December alone, top election officials in Ohio and Colorado declared that widely used voting equipment is unfit for elections. "Every system that is out there, one state or another has found that they are no good," said John Gideon of the advocacy group Voters Unite. "Everybody is starting to look at this now and starting to realize that there is something wrong."

* The swing states of California, Ohio and Florida have found that security on touch-screen voting machines is inadequate. Testers have been able to disable the systems and even change vote totals. The Help America Vote Act of 2002 effectively required that states have electronic equipment in place by 2010. There are no documented cases of actual election tampering involving electronic voting machines. But in tests, researchers in Colorado found that electronic voting systems could be corrupted with magnets or with Treos and other similar handheld devices. In Colorado, two kinds of Sequoia Voting Systems electronic voting machines used in Denver and three other counties were decertified because of security weaknesses, including a lack of password protection. Equipment made by Election Systems and Software had programming errors. And optical scanning machines, made by Hart InterCivic, had an error rate of one out of every 100 votes during tests by the state.

Now some states are turning back to paper -- in some cases, just weeks before primary elections. All fear time is running out. Some of us have been highlighting this and trying to keep the issue alive in order to prevent a rerun of stolen elections. It blows me away that this was allowed like everything else to turn into a crisis situation as id is right now where there is a scramble to dump the machines and return to paper ballots that themselves will be untested. We have once again ensured ourselves a major problem this election is we are lucky enough to even have them.

You watch Bush call for unity Governments all over the world even though the people do not want them and they will fail. except for Hamas and Palestine because they are against Bush and Israel so it is not in his favor. Bush practices the politics of division to be used in gaining what he wants. You see it all over the world today. That is what we have to focus on The future of our America not Bush's. Expert mis-Analysis on Caucus results, It is now Obama, Edwards as expected vs. McCain Romney in New Hampshire! There's no surprises here!

It never ceases to amaze me that the so called experts in every single category in America before 9/11 still seem to think they matter and that they know what they are talking about. They do not and are constantly wrong in every single instance. The world and America has changed since the accident of Bush and his 9/11. They constantly point that out and then show in every instance that they are incapable of assessing the situation and reacting accordingly. I have to laugh, I just heard a McCain ad saying you haven't changed and neither have I. That is the damn problem. The old mindset is the problem! They constantly say the obvious that this is a different world today and we must adapt to it while like the chief idiot they talk the talk and then show they are incapable of walking the walk.

This is a different world today and we will always be in trouble as long as the so called experts continue to turn a deaf ear to the new experts, the people in the trenches of society who see life from the bottom as the Islamists do and judge and act accordingly. With that said you know I have been saying from the beginning that Obama is going to surprise you. His command of the Iowa caucus was not the surprise the so called experts say. It was absolutely expected. The gap should have been even wider if anything. The so called experts say rarely does the person who wins Iowa go on to win the nomination but he will this time and win the election if there is one!

Obama was no surprise and neither was Huckabee as he was in evangelical country. New Hampshire is not Iowa! He will not do well there and in the end will not get the nomination. I am New England to the core and Lived on and worked farms through out New England including New Hampshire where my family is from. New Hampshire even more than Maine are fiercely independent and Religion is not going to matter. I see Obama doing well there but so too will Edwards and Hillary. in the end I see Edwards Obama dominating. As for Republicans McCain will carry the day in New Hampshire followed by Romney with Huckabee being the distant third he should be. When all is said and done it will be Obama Edwards or Edwards Obama as I would hope it turns out, against McCain Romney. Which ever way that ticket turns out we should defeat them hands down if there are elections and they are not taken out of our hands because of escalating wars or being stolen by any growing number of means!

Anyway that is how I saw it and see it playing out. There were no surprises! Following is the way the so called experts saw it. -- Mike Huckabee needed incredible turnout from self-described evangelical voters Thursday to win Iowa. Hillary Clinton was
counting on capturing the women's vote to carry the day. Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee scored well with evangelical voters. Huckabee succeeded, while Clinton did not. So goes the tale of two very different presidential campaigns that appear to be on separate arcs: Huckabee up, Clinton down. "wrong, Iowa was about one, Obama! With all Democratic precincts reporting, Obama had the support of 38 percent of voters, compared to 30 percent for John Edwards and 29 percent for Hillary Clinton. of Course Iowa went for the Religious right. After this mis-administration and the lessons of perversion and corruption displayed by them you will not see this repeated in New Hampshire or anywhere else other than the so called Bible Belt.

Iowa is no New Hampshire. The largely conservative libertarian New England state could prove to be rough sledding for the newfound champion of social conservatives. In Iowa, entrance polls of caucus-goers showed that 3 out of every 5 Republicans were self-described born again or evangelical Christians. Huckabee beat Romney by better than 2-to-1 in this voting bloc. Among the rest of Iowa's Republican electorate, however, Huckabee finished a distant fourth behind Romney, McCain and Fred Thompson. In New Hampshire, social conservatives are not as influential. This potentially opens the door for Romney to regain the upper hand or for McCain to repeat his 2000 victory.

The supposed experts say The Arizona senator will find himself in a two-front battle: against Romney for the hearts and souls of GOP voters and against Obama for the state's unpredictable and sizable independent electorate. Clinton suddenly finds herself looking at Obama's back and rethinking her strategy for winning the support of younger women. Iowa entrance polls showed that the New York senator was the top choice of women over 60, while Obama was strongly preferred by women between the ages of 18 to 59.

Another major challenge for Clinton will be how to weaken the Illinois senator without being accused of running a divisive, negative campaign. So far, voters have rejected this style of campaigning. Meanwhile, Democrats John Edwards and Richardson, as well as Republican Thompson, are still alive with many contests to go. A win Thursday would have been a major boost to Edwards' campaign, and the pressure is now on the former senator to deliver a victory in either labor-friendly Nevada or his birth state of South Carolina. Tuesday I did a story in regards to Hillary Clinton's possible nomination. In it I included information on a story from a very concerned up to snuff citizen and a list of the top 25 censored stories of 2008. I pointed out stories #1 which abolishes Habeus Corpus for any person and not just suspected terrorists, and #2 which moves Bush towards martial law. In effect it repeals the Posse Comitatus Act, which placed strict prohibitions on military involvement in domestic law enforcement.
Just think about those 2 implications alone! Below are the 2 links I sincerely hope you look at. I am republishing them because I noticed last time that there were many comments joking about these very real concerns for all of us, without once checking the well researched facts and laws passed by Bush. I had to assume that anybody but a Bush pundit would be greatly concerned about the loss of basic rghts and protections so the commenters must have been trolls.

First A Republican debate on Univision, the Spanish-language television network, was canceled this month because Mr. McCain was the only leading candidate to agree to attend. The decision to skip the forum last nght was criticized in an editorial in The Washington Times, a conservative-leaning newspaper, that said, “It is striking that the Republican front-runners believe that some run-of-the mill fund-raiser is more important than building up their relationships with black and Hispanic voters, groups who flock to the Democratic Party in droves.” You would think that would be a concern unless there is no concern for the loss of corruptive Republican power!

The four no-shows -- former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former Sen. Fred Thompson, Arizona Sen. John McCain and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney -- cited scheduling conflicts in saying they could not attend the debate at historically black Morgan State University. They had months prior notice, if they cared they would have made the adjustments. They routinely do it all the time. There is no excuse beyond lack of concern. They have no concern for average Americans or for the loss of the corruptive massive power Bush has gained. will there even be elections?

We must Cancel the antiquated Electoral College Then Politicians must take Blogging 101 to Prove they're doing the Peoples work to get elected!

We discuss the countries problems all day every day not only here but on many Liberal Blogs and on the other side Conservatives do it on their Blogs. However, we need to stop wasting our time and talking the issues amongst ourselves and implement a system in which we are heard. We can do this! What "We the people" think should be heard and required to be acted on as a prerequisite to being elected or reelected. We have been burned not only by this Republican MIS Administration but by inadequate public representatives from both parties.

It covers many important issues as does Clammy's but we must get them addressed before this bites us again and another election is stolen by Republicans. However thinking about it more these solutions are even more basic and comprehensive and voting time is rapidly creeping upon us again as our attention is diverted to the many problems around the world. The issue of solving our election problems so another election is not stolen and "'We the people" are heard and our thoughts acted on are more important than ever and I have a very viable way to accomplish this but we must get our solutions heard where it matters and have them acted on. First, we must Abolish the antiquated Electoral College. that served the peoples purpose when we could not get ourselves heard in rural America. As we learned with Bush it now represents the interests of the Politicians. We are capable of going to the polls today and speaking for ourselves. While on the subject of a system working for the Politicians we must also throw out these new electronic voting systems because they can be tampered with casting any vote the tamperer wants and you ca not detect it. Paper trail or not it is worthless because you cannot prove the vote was real.

Technology is not the voters friend! Technology is the Politicians friend! Anyway 2ndly we must as a prerequisite to running pass a requirement that every single politician or perspective Politician must make an enforceable promise to do the work of their constituents and America not their special Interest handlers. While having to take a course about the top Blogs from their party to know what their constituents want and make them responsible for speaking for the people and not them and special interests.

Politicians must prove performance. We have got to hod them accountable. We do not care what Politicians think. They are supposed to care about what we think. They are supposed to represent "we the people" not we the Politicians.

Our Government of the people, for the people, by the people, facilitated by society, has become a Government of the Politician, for the affluent, by the media, facilitated by the so called legal system. This has got to change. We have got to take "our America" back. It is imperative to the countries future and we owe it to our kids.

Just this second I got off the phone with one of my sons that just got back from Afghanistan. Of course the conversation turned to Politics. I explained what I am saying right now and laid the future of his kids and country on his shoulders. He must for his children take an active role in cleaning up this mess. He is still determined to go to Iraq next year. He is EOD and I don't like it but some of these idiots my 3 son's included find some perverse pleasure in this.

I am afraid Bush will keep him busier than he wants regardless of who gets elected next. He wants to retire after 20 years and that is 10 years away. I can only pray that he makes it and survives paying off Bush's trillions in debt he put on their shoulders to be paid when he is gone. Boy are our kids getting a screwing!

JACKSONVILLE, North Carolina. April 1 — Vice President Cheney delivered a speech early Sunday morning before a formation of soldiers at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. The speech was not publicized and the prepared remarks were intended to boost troop morale. The comments were fairly unremarkable except for one short comment near the end of the speech in which Mr. Cheney suggested that the Bush Administration may seek to challenge the 22nd amendment in the 2008 presidential election in an effort to ensure that the war in Iraq is successful.

Mr. Cheney again cited the war in Iraq as a key component in the effort to combat terrorism, saying "The war in Iraq is such a crucial part of the greater war on terror that we currently have our legal advisors looking into the possibility that the 22nd Amendment may not apply in 2008." Because the speech was not publicized and was held on a secure military base, very few journalists were present, and none were able to ask questions about what the Vice President's comments might mean. Repeated efforts to contact the Vice President's Office to clarify the comment were unsuccessful.
The 22nd Amendment to the Constitution prohibits U.S. Presidents from running for a third term, stating " No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice...". The 22nd Amendment was passed in 1951 after President Franklin Roosevelt broke a tradition that dated back to George Washington, in which Presidents voluntarily refused to run for a third term. Political pundits and Constitutional experts are split on what the Vice President's comments could mean. Some see the comments as an effort to extend the Administration's "war powers" due to the fact that the country is at war. They argue that there is a tenuous case to be made that the 22nd Amendment doesn't apply during war time since the Congress waited until after WW II to introduce such an Amendment. Others say that the mere fact that the country had just ended the war in 1951, when the Amendment was passed, suggests that the Congress would have put such an exception into the language of the Amendment if they had intended it not apply during times of war.
Others say that the Bush Administration will argue that the 2000 race was not actually decided by an election and that the Bush administration has technically only been "elected" once since the Supreme Court's Decision in Bush v. Gore effectively nullified the popular vote. Anonymous sources inside the White House have corrborated that this may indeed be the Administration's plan. I hate to say it but you may know I have been saying this for years now. He is not going to let go of his power. He and his handlers will do anything to stay in power so they can prosecute their new order. That report didn't say a couple of very important things.

Since the 2000 elections it has been painfully obvious that the United States is not a "real" Democracy. It no longer matters what "we the people" think as we see proven every day. The old guard here are not going to allow change and "we the people" are once again going to have to drive that change. It has become quite obvious to most that they do not matter and the old guard will not stop lying to them so they keep their power and control.
I firmly believe that most realize Gore if the only person supremely outfitted to clean up after Bush and help bring America and the world successfully into the future. Many hate Giuliani and unless Republicans steal the election again which many of us do fear especially with the un checkable electronic voting machines, there should be a Democratic President in 2008.
However, as much as we like to think we matter and are told we do, The American people do NOT elect their President. They just think they do. So as much as we need a Democratic
President in 2008 and to me preferably Al Gore, I am afraid my man Gore will never be allowed in.
Al Gore will never be president as we need in order to proceed into the future we perceive. I am afraid our next president will most likely be Rudy Giuliani. Bush attacking Iran was a given from the beginning. It was Bush's original goal when he diverted from the war on terror to attack Iran. That was merely the first step in prosecuting his new middle east order. He will not be denied now.
At this point a lot more is set in motion than Wes Clark mentioned. The whole world knows it though Bush will continue to deny it. When all is said and done I am convinced that whatever anyone says or does Iran will be attacked and Bush is still drumming up a reason to do it. I noticed last night on NBC nightly news that once again Bush was discounting our top 16 spy experts who are saying that there was nothing concrete against Iran.
Iran will be attacked by Bush or it will be ensured that the next President does it in order to complete the plan for new order. With this in mind I am afraid that despite the growing Draft Gore campaign many of us are behind in order to reverse harmful environmental and middle east policies, that Giuliani will be elected by hook or by crook.
