Horrific costs of climate change just beginning

Drought And Heat Waves Are Costing The Federal Government Billions In Crop Insurance Payouts: According to the report, released Tuesday by the Natural Resources Defence Council, the Federal Crop Insurance Program paid out a record $17.3 billion in insurance claims to farmers in 2012, just one year after the program set a record at $10.8 billion in claims in 2011.

Climate change played a large role in these historic payments — in 2012, 80 percent of all payments made by the FCIP were for farmers whose crops had been lost to heat, drought or high wind, according to the NRDC. Many Midwestern states were hit even harder by these impacts...

In 1989, when “climate change” had just entered the public lexicon, 63 percent of Americans understood it was a problem. Almost 25 years later, that proportion is actually a bit lower, at 58 percent.

In fact: The Pentagon Told Bush: Climate Change will Destroy us, This is old news too! This is the closest to the awful truth I ever heard.

The Pentagon told Bush: climate change will destroy us and this is not a new article!Sunday February 22, 2004 The Observer: Climate change over the next 20 years could result in a global catastrophe costing millions of lives in wars and natural disasters. A secret report, suppressed by US defence chiefs and obtained by The Observer, warns that major European cities will be sunk beneath rising seas as Britain is plunged into a 'Siberian' climate by 2020. Nuclear conflict, mega-droughts, famine and widespread rioting will erupt across the world. The document predicts that abrupt climate change could bring the planet to the edge of anarchy as countries develop a nuclear threat to defend and secure dwindling food, water and energy supplies. The threat to global stability vastly eclipses that of terrorism, say the few experts privy to its contents. 'Disruption and conflict will be endemic features of life,' concludes the Pentagon analysis.

'Once again, warfare would define human life.' The findings will prove humiliating to the Bush administration, which has repeatedly denied that climate change even exists.

Experts said that they will also make unsettling reading for a President who has insisted national defence is a priority. I hate to say it but in reality he won't bat an eye.

The report was commissioned by influential Pentagon defence adviser Andrew Marshall, who has held considerable sway on US military thinking over the past three decades. Climate change 'should be elevated beyond a scientific debate to a US national security concern', say the authors, Peter Schwartz, CIA consultant and former head of planning at Royal Dutch/Shell Group, and Doug Randall of the California-based Global Business Network.
An imminent scenario of catastrophic climate change is 'plausible and would challenge United States national security in ways that should be considered immediately', they conclude. As early as next year widespread flooding by a rise in sea levels will create major upheaval for millions. What pisses me off even more is that there are those that still ridicule Al Gore and call his movie "a Convenient Lie" "remember what happened in New York last year with hurricane Sandy?"  Back to the article!
The Bush administration came under heavy fire from a large body of respected scientists who claimed that it cherry-picked science to suit its policy agenda and suppressed studies that it did not like. Jeremy Symons, a former whistle blower at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), said that suppression of the report for four months was a further example of the White House trying to bury the threat of climate change.

Senior climatologists, however, believe that their verdicts could prove the catalyst in forcing Bush to accept climate change as a real and happening phenomenon. They also hope it will convince the United States to sign up to global treaties to reduce the rate of climatic change.

A group of eminent UK scientists recently visited the White House to voice their fears over global warming, part of an intensifying drive to get the US to treat the issue seriously.
Sources have told The Observer that American officials appeared extremely sensitive about the issue when faced with complaints that America's public stance appeared increasingly out of touch.

One even alleged that the White House had written to complain about some of the comments attributed to Professor Sir David King, Tony Blair's chief scientific adviser, after he branded the President's position on the issue as indefensible.

Among those scientists present at the White House talks were Professor John Schellnhuber, former chief environmental adviser to the German government and head of the UK's leading group of climate scientists at the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research. He said that the Pentagon's internal fears should prove the 'tipping point' in persuading Bush to accept climatic change.
Sir John Houghton, former chief executive of the Meteorological Office - and the first senior figure to liken the threat of climate change to that of terrorism - said: 'If the Pentagon is sending out that sort of message, then this is an important document indeed.'

Bob Watson, chief scientist for the World Bank and former chair of the intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, added that the Pentagon's dire warnings could no longer be ignored. 'Can Bush ignore the Pentagon? Why not? It won't be the first time but It's going be hard to blow off this sort of document. Its hugely embarrassing. After all, Bush's single highest priority is national defence.
The Pentagon is no wacko, liberal group, generally speaking it is conservative. If climate change is a threat to national security and the economy, then he has to act. There are two groups the Bush Administration tend to listen to, the oil lobby and the Pentagon,' added Watson.

'You've got a President who says global warming is a hoax, and across the Potomac river you've got a Pentagon preparing for climate wars. It's pretty scary when Bush starts to ignore his own government said Rob Gueterbock of Greenpeace. Already, according to Randall and Schwartz, the planet is carrying a higher population than it can sustain.
By 2020 'catastrophic' shortages of water and energy supply will become increasingly harder to overcome, plunging the planet into war. They warn that 8,200 years ago climatic conditions brought widespread crop failure, famine, disease and mass migration of populations that could soon be repeated.

Randall told The Observer that the potential ramifications of rapid climate change would create global chaos. 'This is depressing stuff,' he said. 'It is a national security threat that is unique because there is no enemy to point your guns at and we have no control over the threat.'

Randall added that it was already possibly too late to prevent a disaster happening. 'We don't know exactly where we are in the process. It could start tomorrow and we would not know for another five years,'he said.

'The consequences for some nations of the climate change are unbelievable. It seems obvious that cutting the use of fossil fuels would be worthwhile.'

So dramatic are the report's scenarios, Watson said, that they may prove vital in the US elections and that better mean election for Al Gore who knows climate change as a real problem.

Symons, who left the EPA in protest at political interference, said that the suppression of the report was a further instance of the White House trying to bury evidence of climate change. 'It is yet another example of why this government should stop burying its head in the sand on this issue.'

Symons said 'This administration is ignoring the evidence in order to placate a handful of large energy and oil companies,' he added.

I have to say that those who have read my articles on the state of the planet know these observations might not be pleasant but I am afraid it is as bad as all that.

10 Year Energy Plans from Gore,T Boone Pickens, and Richard Branson:

10 Year Energy Plans from Gore,T Boone Pickens, and Richard Branson: I am glad someone is stepping up but have to wonder where will we be in 10 Years? Well! That was 3 years ago and now we know part of the answer becauase of inaction. Why have we not heard of these plans? Why has nothing been done? Where will we be in 7 more years?

In a nutshell while our Political idiots continue to nothing as they all accuse the other side of failure while once again refusing to come together and do the right thing for the Nation and the world. I am glad to see such influential people step up and try to resolve ours and the worlds energy needs while we still stand a chance at a future.

Three influential people have stepped forward "and 3 years ago" with money and plans that at least give us a little hope, something we all drastically need today. Richard Branson was first almost 5 years ago when amongst other things we heard this! Commenting on an announcement by Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Group of a 10-year, three billion dollar commitment to renewable energy initiatives, Friends of the Earth's head of campaigns, Mike Childs, said:

"As one of the top business leaders it's welcome that Richard Branson has recognized the urgent need to tackle climate change. Whilst his investment in bio-fuels is welcome, this can only be a small part of the solution, and must not distract from the need to cut emissions. Bio fuels can provide a greener alternative to oil based fuels, but this is only true if they are produced sustainably and don't interfere with food production and biodiversity protection. Richard Branson's train business will be an important part of the future, encouraging people to take the train instead of flying, but the fast growth in air flights can not be maintained without causing climatic disaster. Just one of Branson's proposals

Finally someone from our Nation that can help has also stepped forward with a doable 10 year plan! Al Gore: Al Gore is challenging the United States to produce all of its electricity through wind power, solar power and other environmentally friendly sources within 10 years. Gore said the transition would not only help resolve America's current energy and economic problems, but would also improve U.S. national security by reducing dependence on foreign oil. VOA Correspondent Cindy Saine reports from Washington. Al Gore received a rock star welcome at an energy conference in Washington, where he issued a challenge to the country.

"So today I challenge our nation to commit to producing 100 percent of our electricity from renewable energy and truly clean, carbon-free sources within 10 years," he said. Called an alarmist by some critics, Gore has made global climate change his signature issue, and his efforts won him a Nobel Prize. He admitted that weaning Americans off fossil fuels would require placing a carbon tax on burning oil and coal, which his plan would offset with a reduction in payroll taxes. But Gore said soaring gasoline prices and the current economic turmoil have created a new political environment where Americans are hungry for change.

"I do not remember a time in our country when so many things seem to be going so wrong simultaneously," he said. "Our economy is in terrible shape and getting worse, people are hurting. Gasoline prices are increasing dramatically and so are electricity rates. Jobs are being outsourced, home mortgages are in trouble. Banks, automobile companies, other institutions we depend upon are under growing pressure."

Gore called on all Americans to pull together, citing the kind of national effort that made it possible for Neil Armstrong to walk on the moon just eight years after former President John F. Kennedy issued that challenge. He said both presidential candidates, his fellow Democrat Barack Obama and the presumptive Republican nominee John McCain are way ahead of most politicians in the fight against global climate change. But Gore did criticize President Bush's proposal to resume offshore oil drilling as a way to address the current energy crisis. "It is only a truly dysfunctional system that would buy into the perverse logic that the short-term answer to high gasoline prices is drilling for oil 10 years from now in areas that should be protected," he said. Amen Al Gore

In response to this T Boone Pickens responded to Al Gore's Generational Challenge to Repower America speech, saying he and the former vice president "have two different objectives and our plans should be viewed with that in mind." Last week, the billionaire discussed the Pickens plan he hopes will reduce foreign oil imports by more than 30% in the next 5 to 10 years. In a release issued through BP Capital, Pickens said Gore "put forward a framework of a plan that is focused on global warming and climate issues. My plan is aimed squarely at breaking the stranglehold that foreign oil has on our country and the $700 billion annual impact it has on our economy. ... Vice President Gore's plan does not address this enormous problem.

In a speech at a Washington energy conference, Gore called for the U.S. to produce all of its electricity from renewable energy and carbon-free sources within 10 years. Pickens unveiled a plan that involves using wind to supplant natural gas, which could then be used towards transportation. "It's time for us to take responsibility for the problem we've created and act now," Pickens said. "The Federal Government should provide the leadership to clear the way for action and private enterprise should build the infrastructure to get it done. Only in that way can we recapture our energy destiny. Pickens Says He And Gore Have Different Objectives

* We all know how one sided my way or nothing Partisan bickering resulting in absolutely nothing getting done is destroying us and the world. It is a breath of fresh air to see 3 distinguished fellows step forward with money and positive ideas. That they differ is a plus as we see from Politics there is no one idea but a melding of many will get us out of this. I am afraid we still have to hope our Governments will realize this and cooperate with "we the people" If we are to be saved it will come from us!

Civilization Is At Risk Absent ‘Urgent And Large-Scale Action’ Warns Planetary Summit

Civilization Is At Risk Absent ‘Urgent And Large-Scale Action’ Warns Planetary Summit: Climate change could fuel a giant ‘compost bomb’ … as decaying vegetation stuck under the ice or in peat bogs starts to heat up and tips the world into dangerous global warming. The Planet Under Pressure conference began with an urgent warning of fast-approaching tipping points like the “compost bomb.” It ended with a plea by the conference leaders for urgent and large-scale action.

The conference website reports, “Scientists issue first ‘State of the Planet’ declaration at the world’s largest gathering of experts on global environmental and social issues in advance of the major UN Summit Rio+20 in June.” The language is unusually blunt for scientists — or it would have been considered unusually blunt before humanity chose to ignore decades of warning by scientists.
No kidding? The giant compost bomb sounds a bit far fetched, almost a 1950's science fiction movie. However the title is right. We better take urgent large scale action now or man and the planet are in dire trouble with no chance of recovery if it is not too late already.

Okay, every life form is comprised of many living forms. Some are designed to further the life of the host some are designed to bring that life form to an end, example: cancer cells! Man's role to the life of the planet seem to be that of the cancer cell. Nobel peace prize winners are supposedly the best of the world, They must speak out loudly in unison and save it from this terrible planned future! We need our Nobel prize winners to speak up loud and clear Now!

Al Gore was being overly optimistic saying experts say we have ten years to act and some as little as two. It is worse than that and he and everyone else should know why.The Nobel prize winners must come together and bring to the forefront around the world the dire danger to us and the planet if we continue down the road of an unsurvivable world war! We must somehow convey to them that are respected around the world that the time is now and immediate. There are two overwhelming reasons why the time is now and immediate and why we may not make a difference even if we can wake up the world today!

I wrote this 7 years ago now and it is more obvious and critical every day but this is only part of it. Ignore the whole thing if you want But pay attention to the Nurturing stage and the dire consequence of ignoring this.

A time line of Life’s Cycles and Where We Are in Them and The Dire Consequences if we do not respond adequately!

Following is a time line of mans and the planets life cycles, where we are in them, and the repercussions of not doing the right thing for humanity and the planet.

We should be using our militaries for the sole purpose of helping and ensuring honesty among the Nations of the world. There can be no action taken without the knowledge and complicity of all Nations that have the future of man and the planet as their goal. This is what we should have done with Iraq. This is what we should be doing with Iran, North Korea, and many other potential hot spots around the world today. We as the United States, must stop meddling and interfering with the Politics of other Nations around the world. We should be using our militaries not to wage war but to wage peace. Our military efforts after the tsunami were a shining example of the way our militaries should be used in the future. The world as a whole must be made to realize the fragility of our situation.

We can make this work despite the tenuous situation we have put ourselves in. With that said we must proceed and work as a world unit. It will not work as separate competitive entities as we have done in the past. We must Proceed into the future as one. We must proceed into the future with the future life of man and the planet as our only goal. Nothing less than the survival of man and the planet are at stake. Shortly the planets life sustaining ecosystems will no longer have the ability to sustain the current population of man.

We can not afford to destroy them altogether. That complete destruction and no less is what we have facing us right now. It would do man, the world well to wake up to that fact and act accordingly. This is exactly what will happen if there is another unnecessary world war. Countries must be made to realize that what they have today is all they are going to get. We can trade throughout the world for the items necessary for ones civilization and survival. However, the domination of the past must be history or we will be. We must take care of what we have. It is all we are going to get. The world must be made to realize that we march into the future with what boundaries and countries we have or suffer the dire consequences.

Our prime concern, our only concern at this point in mans and the planets life cycle has to be one of self reservation. The world must wake up to the fact that preservation of man and the planet has to be our only goal and ultimate victory. Shortly we will illustrate the life cycles in any life form and you will understand where man and the planet are in them today. We went into this in great detail in our first two books. It is very obvious and very plain, it bears repeating as we seem to be learning nothing. As we said in the past, life moves only in one direction, forward.

We must not go back or attempt to go back to a cycle of life that man and the planet have already grown through and survived. We will not the next time. We have lived through the development stage of man and this planet. It is long overdue for us to get it together as a species and realize this and then face this important fact. We are now in the preservation stage of any life form. We have reached and passed the maturity stage of any life form as a species and as a planet. World wars, world dominance, world destruction, the times for that are passed. It is up to us as a world body to realize this and act accordingly.

Life’s stages
The aforementioned observances are the realization that this is not a utopian idea. It is absolutely necessary for mans survival. We must get the message to all countries of the world. Whosoever chooses to ignore the future of man and the planet must be held accountable for their action. We must get Nobel Laureate’s to publish papers on this subject. It is necessary to have someone reputable and believable write on the subject. They must sound the sense cal alarm. It must be published throughout the Nations of the world and filtered down through all levels of society. Below are the various stages of mans life cycles and where we are in them.

* The Infantile Stage – This is mans longest stage to date. With some luck we can surpass this in our maturity stage, our nurturing stage. Man was very much in his developmental stage. From mans beginning caveman day’s right up through The Dark Ages. Man was very much a live and learn being. You can not accuse man of that today. Man has lost this ability since what we will refer to as The Learning Stage. The 20th century seems to have killed this ability with its perceived lack of need. He now thinks he knows better and he knows everything. We know the thought as most of us have children. He wrongly thinks he has all the answers. We would do well to remember this phase of life.

* The Learning Stage – This period marks the end of The Dark Ages. The end of the Dark Ages coincidentally enough is marked by another perfectly cyclical event known as the Christian Crusades. This was in a point of time appropriate for the horror. The horrific thing is that Islam is going through this cycle right now. Their version of the Christian Crusaders is the Islamist Jihadists. This is occurring at a point in time when mans and the planets life cycles are beyond accepting or tolerating this behavior. At the point of time of the horrors that the Christian Crusaders committed they were accepted and tolerated.

This period covers the end of the Dark Ages up to the 20th century. This period covers the birth of mans great Religions. It covers the development of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. With the exception of the maturing of the Muslim Religion it marks the maturing of these Religions. It marks their role in the world order. This is again with the exception of the Muslim Religion. It is that time of Religious maturity which there is no place for in the world today. We, the world, humanity, have already gone through that. As a result we do not find what is happening with the Islamist Jihad particularly palatable. This period also opened the way for colonization. It marked the point in mans life cycle when the forceful taking of another country was the accepted norm. This was the time in mans and the planets life for needless pointless death and destruction. It was survivable by both man and the planet. This time is over and can no longer be accepted or tolerated.

*The Maturing Stage – This period includes WW1, WW2, and the recognition of man made hazards to mans and the planets life. This was the period in mans and the planets life cycles when world war was survivable by man and the planet. Our weapons are now too horrific for man or the planet to survive. Life only moves in one direction and for a reason. We can not allow any Nation to try and slide backwards and return to those ways. The time for that in the life cycle of the planet is over. We are becoming aware as to the frailty of the planets life sustaining ecosystems.

* The Nurturing Stage – This is mans mature stage. This is mans preservation period. The time is now. This period marks mans awakening as to the realization of mans negative impact on the life sustaining life cycle of the planet as a whole. This period marks the awakening of man as to the as to the necessity of revitalizing Natures life sustaining ecosystems. This period marks the necessity for an end to all out war. We must come to the realization that as a world we must destroy all advanced weaponry and their systems throughout the world. This is an absolute necessity for the survival of man and the planet. We must form a world board to ensure compliance by the entire world. It is for the benefit and survival of mankind and the planet. We now know the fragility of our planet and our negative role in it. As a world we must act responsibly, be held accountable, and act accordingly.

** Man has taken his ability to live and learn, an ability that has sustained and nurtured him for thousand of years and forgotten he ever had it. It had served us well throughout are creativity. Through the beginning of the 20th century man has been going through the maturity stages of his existence. Like a maturing teenager man now thinks he has all the answers. However he has none of the right ones. Would you send your Grandmother off to war? That is something you can relate to. Likewise man and the planet can not survive a world war this late in the life cycle of man and the planet. Whoever ushers in a new world war must be held personally accountable for knowingly and unwittingly bring about the end of the civilized world and our planet.

The great climate debate as Titans clash over climate change. Gore Vs. Gingrich!

Gingrich takes on Gore, Cheney refuses to be censored on Obama's mistakes!

I wanted to discuss Darth Cheney as he refuses to shut up. He has become the front line for the Republican Fascist extremist who want to rewrite Bush and Cheney's history of torture and destruction. the idiot scum refuses to shut up and says he will not be censored. He will not shut up nor will Rove, Limbaugh or the rest of the Fascist. If we are attacked again they are directly responsible.

Everything Obama says or does they jump on and call it the wrong thing. It is the wrong thing for them and their version of America but it is the right thing for us and our version of America. We must help get it back. I could not find the link I wanted but this one of Cheney saying they did nothing wrong will suffice for now. I want to discuss Gore and Gingrich! Cheney Cheney: 'I don't think we've got much to apologize for' refuses to be silent on Obama That is the problem he doesn't think and he doesn't care what we think!

I should have long been over being stunned at what I have seen and heard coming from the Republican party since some fools got the dumb ass drunk elected. He was a proven life long loser and I still can't believe he was elected and worse is defended. Look what he friggen did, I do not get it! Anyway again I am flabbergasted how someone with the resume of Gore can be so ignorantly discounted by this time the likes of Gingrich. These idiots will not shut up and sadly they will not go away but will get much worse.

The great climate debate as Titans clash over climate change. Gore Vs. Gingrich! I refuse to believe that at this point anyone can not realize cleaning up the environment is a dire necessity and a money maker of the future. Let alone someone of Gingrich's low moral standing refuting Gore and his vast resume on the subject. Gore correctly told Congress the fate of the planet is in their hands and it it is. I have done research on this myself for many years. I will shut up for now and just ask you to look at the links. Unbelievable!

Gore pushes for US climate law

Gingrich says climate bill will punish Americans

Gore, Gingrich face off on climate bill

* Now in closing I hope you read those. I am stunned that Gingrich can get away with discounting the vast knowledge and expertise of Al Gore. Sadly it will work in once again confusing the issue for personal gain. How the hell can anyone in their right mind say Gore wants to punish Americans, take their jobs, tax them. I don't get it! How can they call cleaning the air a tax? Sounds like a job maker to me. Maybe that is their problem.WTF is this all about other than to cause confusion for personal gain?

I don't care what they say. This is just one more Republican fear tactic, Their motto of controlling by keeping you in fear has not changed but is getting worse as they get increasingly desperate. Gingrich said gore will cost you your job. I think just the opposite. New technology, Green technology equals a future and it scares Republicans. What say you? I am sick of this fear mongering destructive to our America crap. We do not have time for this!

President Obama will help Al Gore, T Boone Pickens, and Sir Richard Branson solve our energy needs and rescue the environment!

I guess at this point you are realizing that I do focus on one subject! That subject is our successful move into the future, solving our future energy needs, securing our environment for the future, and everything in between. This morning I heard a discussion about T Boone Pickens and his plan to rescue our future. I had much going on and could not find the story when I had the time to discus it. Luckily I have written about it extensively but will just focus on T Boone Pickens, Sir Richard Branson, and Al Gore.

The last couple of years the afore mentioned Gentlemen have stepped forward with 10 point plans on how to solve our future energy needs and have volunteered big money to do it. This of course was during Bush's nightmare, I mean Bush's rain no Reign. We said nothing would get done unless the Government got behind it and got involved. Of course under Bush it did not and nothing got done.

With the advent of President Obama I now see something getting done here too! As you know, future energy resources and answers play an important role in President Obama's stimulus package and putting Americans back to work. Let me revisit Al Gore, T Boone Pickens, and Sir Richard Branson's 10 point plans and much more! I have to laugh! I wrote this a year ago and it applies 100% right this second:

In a nutshell while our Political idiots continue to nothing as they all accuse the other side of failure while once again refusing to come together and do the right thing for the Nation and the world. I am glad to see such influential people step up and try to resolve ours and the worlds energy needs while we still stand a chance at a future. Three influential people have now stepped forward with money and plans that at least give us a little hoper something we all drastically need today. Richard Branson was first almost 2 years ago when amongst other things he we heard this!

Biofuels can provide a greener alternative to oil based fuels, but this is only true if they are produced sustainably and don't interfere with food production and biodiversity protection. Richard's Branson's train business will be an important part of the future, encouraging people to take the train instead of flying, but the fast growth in air flights can not be maintained without causing climatic disaster. This is a 10 year $3 Billion commitment and Just one of Branson's proposals

Finally someone from our Nation that can help has also stepped forward with a doable 10 year plan! Al Gore Al Gore is challenging the United States to produce all of its electricity through wind power, solar power and other environmentally friendly sources within 10 years.

"It is only a truly dysfunctional system that would buy into the perverse logic that the short-term answer to high gasoline prices is drilling for oil 10 years from now in areas that should be protected," he said. al Gore's 10 year electricity challenge!

In a speech on Thursday at a Washington energy conference, Gore called for the U.S. to produce all of its electricity from renewable energy and carbon-free sources within 10 years. Last week, Pickens unveiled a plan that involves using wind to supplant natural gas, which could then be used towards transportation. "It's time for us to take responsibility for the problem we've created and act now," Pickens said. "The Federal Government should provide the leadership to clear the way for action and private enterprise should build the infrastructure to get it done. Only in that way can we recapture our energy destiny. With T Boone's 10 year energy objective Pickens Says He And Gore Have Different Objectives

Remember the $25 million dollar virgin earth challenge? Gore, Branson $25 million virgin Earth Challenge an Awesome Idea That poses 3 important Questions.
As most know by now, Sir Richard Branson and Al Gore have set up a new global science and technology prize – The Virgin Earth Challenge - which will award $25 million to the individual or group who are able to demonstrate a commercially viable design which will remove at least 1 billion tons of atmospheric carbon dioxide per year for at least ten years without harmful effects. The removal must have long term effects and contribute materially to the stability of the Earth’s climate. It is the largest science and technology prize ever offered. Virgin earth plan

With President Obama I now see cooperation to alleviate our dependence on oil and clean up our environment while putting Americans back to work!

10 Year Energy Plans from Gore,T Boone Pickens, and Richard Branson: I am glad someone is stepping up but have to wonder where will we be in 10 Years?

Getting scary as Rove tries to drag it on saying Clinton still has a chance but Al Gore can end it today by coming out for whoever!

Of course Hillary vows to move on and win in West Virginia and she very well may but this chaos being fueled by the likes of Coulter, Limbaugh, Rove, and the complicit media must come to an end for the good of the country and the worlds future. I wanted to discuss Myanmar where I am hearing now that there may be up to 80,ooo dead. please watch any of many videos

That said once again I have to digress! I stayed up last night following events in North Carolina and Indiana. North Carolina was decided early on for Obama as expected but Indiana dragged on and on until I gave up and went to bed at 1:am expecting that I was right expecting a 50/50 split. Hey I was close and expect that if the Limbaugh, Rove factor was negated then Obama would have taken that to.

This is getting very chaotic instead of winding down as it should then it dawned on me that the man Al Gore can put an immediate end to this mess! It's an endorsement that both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama would love to score, but Al Gore has remained firmly neutral — even as the Democratic presidential race drags on months longer than expected. Many have speculated why Gore, one of the party's most popular figures, has decided to stay on the fence, but the former vice president said Tuesday the reason is really quite simple — and he still may yet come out for a candidate.

"My purpose in not endorsing a candidate is nothing elaborate," he told National Public Radio. “I’m simply watching and listening to the campaign. As a delegate to the convention I will cast my vote at the proper time. I haven’t ruled out making an endorsement prior to that time, but I haven’t been moved to do so.” Gore added, "I have respect for both candidates, they both have strengths, and I’m simply listening and watching like a lot of people."

The party's 2000 presidential candidate is easily the most sought after remaining undecided super delegates and his is perhaps one of the few remaining endorsements that could significantly alter the state of the race. But several political observers have suggested Gore is remaining neutral should he be called in to play the role of "party elder" and forge a compromise between the two candidates.

"I don't like that phrase party elder," Gore said of that suggestion. "I am not anxious to be playing that role. I just turned 60, which is the new 59. I am just a voter, and a recovering politician, and watching it carefully. "I don't know if that role really exists," Gore added. “I think the odds are overwhelming that it will tip rather decisively in one direction or another before the convention even meets.” But Gore acknowledged the party may have to review its nominating system after the presidential primary race has finally ended. “Probably it should be re-examined, but I prefer to wait until this is over to get a full picture on this has worked," he said. "I guess there’s widespread dissatisfaction with the idea of having so many so-called superdelgates, and maybe that will be the prevailing view when this is all over.” Gore may endorse and should quick

* Myanmar, the democratic nomination, Al Gore, feel free to discuss it in the comments. I will be there! Anyway, Al Gore as you can agree is right . We have to revamp the way the party works and this supposed Democratic voting process works or does not work but for now he can put and end to this whole chaotic divisive process by coming out right now for one or the other preferably to me Obama!

Nobel Prize winners are respected around the world, they must speak out loudly and save us and the planet from this terrible planned future!

Nobel prize winners are supposedly the best of the world, They must speak out loudly in unison and save it from this terrible planned future!
We need our nobel prize winners to speak up loud and clear Now! Bush is doing what Jefferson did in the false belief that he too will be vindicated for blatantly going against and destroying the Constitution. But not this time. Bush is a tyrant and history will not look at him kindly.

I am listening to an interview of the peace prize winners and I am going to incorporate this into my story today but it reminds me of something I wrote years ago and that is that all Nobel prize winners must come together and speak loud and eloquently not just on the planet but on what is happening today, why, and what is going to happen if this is allowed to happen.I hear Gore warn China and Bush but one person will not matter. We are in greater danger right now than during Jefferson's time primarily because Bush is in absolute control and wants to rule the world and the rest of the world will not sit idly by thereby worsening the life of our planet beyond any repair in a humanity and planetary destructive war. We must do something to stop this and I am sick of saying it!

Al Gore is being overly optimistic saying experts say we have ten years to act and some as little as two.
I wrote this four years ago now and it is more obvious and critical every day but this is only part of it.Ignore the whole thing if you want But pay attention to the Nurturing stage and the dire consequence of ignoring this.

Life's cycle, The final stages!
Life's cycle, The final stages! (I wrote this 4 year's ago)The nurturing stage is where man should be in its and the planets Life Cycle! However as the current unfolding middle east and world situation is proving, man is attempting to turn the clock back and nature works only in one direction, forward. We are acting like we are in the infantile stage and it will not work!

Whether you believe in Nostradamus or not, he gave us two scenarios at this juncture in life. We had two roads we could follow into the future. We could take the peaceful road down a successful road into the future or we could take the road into conflict that would lead to destruction of man and the planet as we know them.* Sadly man seems to have chosen the 2nd road and with nuclear conflagration staring us in the face: We seem to be leading the way to our demise! If we are to have a future we must smarten up! The full short story at the link!life's cycles

** The second reason and maybe more important is the fact that the planet is going through its own life cycle as man and our society is and part of this global warming is natural and man has no affect on It. Bottom line is the world is ignoring earths critical condition and preparing to put it out of its misery. We must stop this! I was lucky enough to catch on interview on cnn today by Jonathen Mann in Oslo of Al Gore and his protege who won the Nobel Peace prize. Besides the obvious Gore said he would not be a part of anyone's administration and if he decided to get into Politics again it would be to run for President. Well get with it! It was quite good but I had no luck finding a link or the video. If someone can please send it to me!

** I firmly believe that if they came together as they should and they owe the worlds future to do I believe that Bush and the entire world that is preparing for World War Three.all living Nobel Prize Winners must come together and speak loudly to the entire world as to the inevitable end of mane and the planet if they irresponsibly Insist on leading us to World War Three. Someone who will be listened to must take it upon themselves to get this message and the urgency out to the Nobel Prize Winners as they may be our best and last hope!

With important names increasingly invoked by Obama his chances skyrocket: Oprah, Gore, Bill Clinton, Rove? No wonder it's getting dirty! What's up?

What is Rove up to advising obama how to defeat Bush's nominee Hillary?

You know I can't possibly see the tremendous power Bush has amassed allowed in the hands of a Democrat and 100% expect the Presidency to be hijacked by anyone of many scenarios. With that said I still have an interest in who we nominate. I would prefer Edwards as our nominee and I would vote for Hillary if I had to in lieu of any Republican except Paul. Again, with that said I see Obama's star rising and his chances increasing daily as he is saying the right things and powerful names are being dropped in his favor, I just have to wonder what Rove is up to?

This is the first underhanded issue with Rove's attempt to influence the 2008 elections in an interview with Chris Wallace. Mr. Rove, how do you turn what sure looks like a strong Democratic trend for 2008 into a Republican victory? KARL ROVE: Yeah. Well, if you look at the polls that match the leading Democrat against leading Republicans, the margin that the Democrats enjoy disappears or gets very, very narrow. That is standard Rove BE.S. used to influence and direct attitudes and opinions. It is typical underhanded undeserved cockiness. I am sick of the crap!
And the question for both parties is going to be what do they do between now and next September, October and November in order to demonstrate a positive and optimistic agenda. ROVE: Well, first of all, taxes and spending, because this current Congress has got a lousy record on both. The Republicans, though, also have to begin to deal in a very visible and vocal and powerful way with issues that people care about and talk about around the kitchen table like, "What about the cost of my health care? How can my kid go to college? What do we do to create more jobs and energy in America?"

And I'm confident, seeing our candidates around the country and seeing our presidential candidates, that there's a willingness to engage in these issues which heretofore Republicans have got good ideas about but have not been willing to talk about. ROVE: Well, the Democrat Congress will be on the ballot. And it's because they have proposed big taxes, big spending, have failed to support our troops in the war, are undermining our intelligence collection efforts, have shut the Republicans out of any meaningful discussions to move the country ahead as they had promised to do during the campaign, and have demonstrated an utter lack of fiscal responsibility by recommending $205 billion in additional spending over the next four years and two of the biggest tax increases in American history — the repeal of the Bush tax cuts, which is over $1 trillion in tax increases, and then a tax reform plan from the Ways and Means Committee chairman which is $1 trillion in additional taxes. Please read the rest I couldn't take the BE.S.

I am so sick of the outright lying and underhanded ignorant games. This idiot has absolutely no compunctions! It will destroy our America! If there are elections Obama I am prepared to say will get the Democratic nomination. I remember when it was first announced that Oprah would be campaigning for Obama there were many who said she would not be much help. I was not one of them and I beg to Differ. She has powerful great public influence and I think she will gain him much support.
I am not going to invoke race or her reason for supporting him. You draw your own conclusion. I was offended that Obama brought race into the issue as we have enough problems. I happen to agree with him as I am appalled at the rise of racial tensions and Obama is trying to get black support away from Hillary but this is not the time or place to invoke racial justice

Anyway as we watch the campaign between Hillary and Obama get increasingly underhanded to our demise I wondered why! Barack Obama's surge over Hillary Clinton in Iowa marks a new turn in the race that Clinton is describing as the "fun" part — the month before voting begins for the Democratic presidential primary nomination.
Whether it's fun for the candidates remains to be seen, but the slugfest is undoubtedly underway. Obama announced on Monday that he is launching a new Web site to document all the attacks against him by Clinton's campaign. click here to view web site

The move comes after a harrowing day in which Clinton lambasted the Illinois senator for everything from a kindergarten essay to his health care plan and use of his political action committee to funds candidates in early primary states. On Sunday, Clinton's campaign issued a memo suggesting that Obama is lying when he told voters in Boston that he has has "not been planning to run for president for however number of years some of the other candidates have been planning for," a seeming reference to Clinton. Obama up in the polls and Rove is telling him how to win
Amidst this Obama is making wise moves as he said In an interview with Time Magazine that hit newsstands Friday, the Illinois Democrat said he'd offer the former president a job in his administration "in a second." "There are few more talented people," Obama said. In the same interview with Time, Obama also said he would be happy to offer Al Gore a position in his administration tackling climate change issues. "He has been working on this for decades," Obama said. "The country and the world caught up to him. Clinton and Gore in a Obama Administration

* Saying he will listen too and have that team in his Administration is a great plus and will go a long way towards getting him nominated. Rove though is advising him on the dirty Politics to sink Hillary and I have to wonder what he is up to. Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is getting advice from an unlikely source: former top Bush aide Karl Rove. The man behind Bush's two presidential victories took to the pages of the Financial Times Sunday to offer the candidate some unsolicited suggestions on how to beat rival Hillary Clinton. In an open memo to Obama, Rove said the Illinois senator currently appears "weak and ineffectual," and should start sharpening his attacks on the New York Democrat.
"Stop acting like a vitamin-deficient Adlai Stevenson," Rove writes in reference to another Illinois Democrat who twice ran for president and lost. "Striking a pose of being high-minded and too pure will not work. Americans want to see you scrapping and fighting for the job, not in a mean or ugly way but in a forceful and straightforward way."

Rove also suggests Obama exploit the "real doubts" many Democrats feel about Clinton, take clear stances on the issues, and better articulate the type of change he is hoping to represent. Finally, Rove says Obama needs to decry what he calls Clinton's complaints that she is "being picked on." "Find a way to gently belittle her whenever she tries to use disagreements among Democrats as an excuse to complain about being picked on," Rove writes. "The toughest candidate in the field should not be able to complain when others disagree with her. This is not a coronation." "Blow the whistle on her when she tries to become a victim," he continues. "Do it with humor and a smile and it will sting even more." Rove advising Obama on defeating Hillary

* Knowing he is the father of these modern day Politics I have to wonder what Rove is up to? Knowing Bush wanted a Hillary nomination because they would defeat her what is Rove up to? Knowing he is 100% dedicated to Republican leadership what is going on? Can someone help me with this?
