At 28% Bush is Worst President Since Carter, Will be worst in History when he is Done!

I have done many posts in the past saying Bush's poll numbers are nowhere as low as they deserve to be. At 28% they are getting there. Many times in the past I have said he will be the worst President in the countries History and he deserves to be in that position as he continues to chart his miscourse of societal, middle east, and world (dis)order.
This is great news to me but It’s hard to say which is worse news for Republicans: that George W. Bush now has the worst approval rating of an American President in a generation, or that he seems to be dragging every ’08 Republican presidential candidate down with him. But According to the new NEWSWEEK Poll, the public’s approval of Bush has sunk to 28 percent, an all-time low for this president in our poll, and a point lower than Gallup recorded for his father. The last president to be this unpopular was Jimmy Carter who also scored a 28 percent approval in 1979. This remarkably low rating seems to be casting a dark shadow over the GOP’s chances for victory in ’08.
The NEWSWEEK Poll finds each of the leading Democratic contenders beating the Republican frontrunners in head-to-head matchups. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18505030/site/newsweek/
I must say that in my mind president Reagan whose name was invoked 19 times to Bush's once, marked the beginning of the end for the Republican Party. Bush who like his Father fancies himself as another Reagan has I am happy to say destroyed the Republican party for the distant forseeable future.
In his efforts to bring about new societal order he has destroyed the lifestyle of average Americans and allowed the abomination of the likes of Katrina. In his endeavor for new middle east order he has allowed the deaths of countless Iraqi citiizens and this will soon get much worse befor it spreads throughout the middle east. In his efforts to remain the only superpower and forge his new world order he has ostracized America and the American people and he isn't done yet.
He continues these efforts around the world while continuing his threats to the American people. While Bush has changed his moniker from the Decider to the "Commander Guy" in response to vetoing the Iraq spending Bill and digging his heels in. http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/05/02/bush-im-the-commander-guy/
Bush is also continuing his stance against gay rights which I cannot understand. Why be against hate crime Legislation? In a telephone press conference Thursday, following passage in the U.S. House of a bill to add sexual orientation and gender identity to the federal hate crimes law, Rep. Tammy Baldwin said it would be an "extremely tall order" to override a threatened veto by President Bush. http://www.pridesource.com/article.shtml?article=24985
He continues to warn Democrats and threatens another Veto if we attempt to protect Womens Abortion rights. President Bush is warning Democratic leaders that any attempt to weaken federal policies that restrict abortion will be met with a veto. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,270148,00.html
All this at a time when the republican party worries about their future after Bush. Underlying all the questions about abortion, taxes and war during Thursday night's GOP debate was a simple question: What's next for the Republican Party? The answer is not so easy. http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/05/04/post.bush/index.html
As I said at the beginning, it is pretty easy for me. Bush I am happy to say has destroyed the Republican party. I can only hope we can survive him. I do not see any viable future for Republicans unless they quickly distance themselve's from anything Bush. Bush will go down in History as the worst President ever.

I wonder if Bush will handle Greenburg, Kansas as well as he did Katrina. I'll bet he goes down there with his sleeves rolled up for a photo op or two.

I have to agree with you!
He will take the photo op especially if the political and financial commitment is minute. whatever he does anymore no longer matters. He is worthless!

Carter was actually a good President. He warned us of depending on middle east oil and the war that would eventually follow
