First a great Political joke then read and watch send KKK Rove to jail and an attempt at citizens arrest by Iowan's at a Rove fundraiser. Yippee hope!

You need a laugh so first the hilarious perfect political joke for today!

While walking down the street one day a US senator is tragically hit by a truck and dies.
His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entranc
e.
“Welcome to heaven,” says St. Peter. “Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see, so we’re not sure what to do with you.”
“No problem, just let me in,” says the man.

“Well, I’d like to, but I have orders from higher up. What we’ll do is have you spend one day in hell and one in heaven. Then you can choose where to spend eternity.”

“Really, I’ve made up my mind. I want to be in heaven,” says the senator.

“I’m sorry, but we have our rules.”

And with that, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell. The doors open and he finds himself in the middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a clubhouse and standing in front of it are all his friends and other politicians who had worked with him.

Everyone is very happy and in evening dress. They run to greet him, shake his hand, and reminisce about the good times they had while getting rich at the expense of the people.

They play a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster, caviar and champagne.

Also present is the devil, who really is a very friendly guy who has a good time dancing and telling jokes. They are having such a good time that before he realizes it, it is time to go.

Everyone gives him a hearty farewell and waves while the elevator rises…

The elevator goes up, up, up and the door reopens on heaven where St. Peter
is waiting for him.

“Now it’s time to visit heaven.”

So, 24 hours pass with the senator joining a group of contented souls moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns.

“Well, then, you’ve spent a day in hell and another in heaven. Now choose your eternity.”
The senator reflects for a minute, then he answers: “Well, I would never have said it before, I mean heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be better off in hell.”

So St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell.
Now the doors of the elevator open and he’s in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and garbage.

He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it in black bags as more trash falls from above.

The devil comes over to him and puts his arm around his shoulder.

“I don’t understand,” stammers the senator. “Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and clubhouse, and we ate lobster and caviar, drank champagne, and danced and had a great time. Now there’s just a wasteland full of garbage and my friends look miserable. What happened?”

The devil looks at him, smiles and says,“Yesterday we were campaigning…… Today you voted.”
* Funny as Hell!

Watch about arresting KKK Rove!

Karl Rove has made a career out of distorting facts to destroy political rivals. In the case of former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman, he went even further: he deliberately put a political opponent in prison based on trumped up charges.

The GOP couldn’t beat the most successful Democratic politician in recent Alabama history at the ballot box. So instead, at Karl Rove’s direction, the Bush Justice Department used U.S. attorneys to cook up a false criminal case against Siegelman in order to hand the Governor’s Mansion over to the Republican Party.

It’s no surprise that Karl Rove puts politics before due process, democracy and civil rights. That’s why even when faced with a subpoena from Congress, Rove has refused to testify. Unlike Don Siegelman, Karl Rove is breaking the law. Rove believes that he is not only above the law, but that he controls it. He’s wrong. Check out Send Karl Rove to Jail, and sign our petition to ensure that the House Judiciary Committee holds Rove in contempt.

It was actually already attempted by citizens in Iowa and Des Moines police arrested four people Friday who attempted a citizen's arrest of former White House adviser Karl Rove. Rove was in Des Moines to speak at a fundraiser. A news release says a retired minister and three members of the Des Moines Catholic Workers community were cited for trespassing and released. The four accused Rove of election fraud and conspiracy to commit offense or to defraud the United States in the time before the Iraq war. The arrest complaint also says they accused Rove of treason, sedition and subversive activities for fraudulent acts leading to the deaths of 300,000 Iraqi civilians and 4,000 U.S. Military personnel. Kirk Brown and Mona Shaw, two of the four arrested Friday, attempted a similar arrest last March when Rove spoke at the University of Iowa. attempted citizens arrest of Rove

* I understand this has already been attempted on John Bolton and Condi Rice. I do not see any of them ever being held accountable but like the WW2 Nazi's I am having increasing hope that people will wake up some day and hold the perpetrators of this still just developing nightmare even though it will come too late to affect the outcome!

Karl Rove will come out of this smelling like a Turd Blossom.

He'll be fine.

Laws are for little people.

He's above the law.

Love the joke!

As far as Turd Blossom goes, along with his cohort, the preznut, they will get away with murder. I don't believe they'll ever be brought to justice.

It really peeves me but you are right! Glad to see you out and about. I just commented to someone that I am afraid the likes of Rove, Kristol, and Limbaugh even if behind the scenes, will make the DNC a nightmare and major embarrassment. Rove was let loose to raise hell on Democrat's behind the scenes and he is with his lifetime Presidential immunity. He is more dangerous than ever!

you probably read what I said to Wease and I have said it often. They will all get away with this but I hope over time as the brevity of what they did hits home ever harder in the future as it will, they too will be hunted down!

oh yeah sorry Karen!
I loved the joke! The anti Republican in me wishes it was geared towards Republicans! We have to keep on trying to make a difference with this lying underhanded crap that we get every day but we have to keep laughing!

Der Rovesmarschall will be right next to his monkey in Paraguay, snug as a bug. Until he has to flee, he'll continue to thumb his nose at the law-and our spineless CONgress will do nothing to stop him.

Nice to see you! It looks more and more like they are all headed there but you know, If they fuck things up around the world as they have here and I am afraid they already have, having set much future war and disaster in motion and they will face whoever survives this from around the world right there.

You know I like your attitude. I more than agree with you. His contemptuous face and holier than thou cavalier attitude make him too very depressing to even have to look at let alone listen to him!

Nice to see you and yes, Goebbels has many fans in this Reich wing mis-administration. I only hop they too are all hunted down,

The bad thing is this Nazi Laden regime will be the ones attempting to arrest the citizens of dissent, because their imperialism allows it.

jmsjoin said...

You're right Larry! I hope they are not in power forever and too late for us but someone will hunt them down when all is said and done. I was just posting on another timely terror warning for who Bush or McCian? Plus the facade of cooperation with Iran brings more threats of our demise and I will be back on that part shortly. Take care!
