Syria defies today's logic: Syria is upside down

First implication of Al Qaeda civilian slaughter in Syria? I don't think so but?

Hezbollah TV reports 30 killed, 55 wounded in car-bomb attacks; Syrian state television says initial investigations indicate al Qaida behind bombings: "The terrorist attacks left a number of martyrs, both civilian and military. Most of the victims were civilian," Syrian TV said in a news flash. State television also claimed that initial investigations indicated that al Qaida was behind the attacks. A witness from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said he heard heavy gunfire break out after the blasts. This is definitely Al Qaeda's MO killing civilians.

This really brings the confusion in Syria and the middle east and the world full swing for me. Once again I am left dumbfounded. From the beginning with the occurrence of 9/11 we were told and we knew that we were in a different world that required a new way of thinking. Meanwhile we routinely prove incapable of doing that when confronted with the so called terrorists.

However we have done exactly that when it comes to the average well intentioned citizens of the world. In every Government in the world today lying has become the new truth. Governments including the United States routinely lie in order to create a grey area in which to hide the truth from the people of the world so we do not know who is telling the truth, what the truth is, and they can follow their deceitful destructive agenda.

Syria and Bashar Al-Assad appear to be the masters. From the beginning of the chaos in Syria we have been saying that Iran more specifically the IRG (Iran Revolutionary Guard) was in Syria helping if not leading the way in trying to quell the uprising. You know Bashar's only friend Iran is dictating that this slaughter is a necessity though Syria knows how to brutalize its people all to well. Iran will not allow a Democracy at her door step further isolating her.

That in itself defies logic because Iran is Shiite and Bashar and the ruling minority is Sunni like Al Qaeda and Saudi Arabia who we said would come to the aid of the citizens who are largely Shiite. It is all very confusing. Al Qaeda would not destroy Sunni security offices killing Sunni forces or would they?

However Bashar has already proven capable of killing his own to blame it on protesters and further his cause. He is also flat out lying saying protesters have killed 2000 of his security forces, a number pulled out of the air in order to kill and quell those against him.

I still see a total civil war Sunni against Shiite erupting in the Middle East because Bush freed up Iran to instigate it on their end and they are. I still am concerned we will have a permanent presence in the Middle East but feel we will have to largely leave Iraq who as expected upon our departure has instantly departed on the road to civil war, to her own demise. We will still be there but it looks like Yemen, and the Gulf of Aden will be the prime focus unless Iran gets something going between the US and Iran.

All Bush did by ignoring Afghanistan and attacking Iraq was to guarantee a loss of everything and a complete Middle East and Asian Breakdown.

He freed Iran up to pursue her version of new middle East order by interfering wherever she could while Bush was doing the same thing with his Middle East Democratization program. I think you can see how successful Bush and Cheney were with chaos creating Middle East Democracy program but you are barely seeing the results they created in Iran.

The goal absolutely is to be the country who decides which direction the new Middle East (dis)order will take. Bush started it by attacking Iraq to get into the middle east to destabilize it and start the new middle east order the idiot said God told him to do now it will be up to Iran and Saudi Arabia at least up front fight it out whether this goes the Iranian Shiite way or the Saudi Arabian Sunni way and do not forget Israel!

You know I firmly believe and have said so a million times by now that since 9/11 everything was construed to allow Bush to gain the power he needed to prosecute his new order not just in the Middle East but on the entire world! He diverted from Afghanistan to get back into the Middle East with the goal of setting up a larger safety zone for Israel and going after Iran. Both will fail! It has long been my contention that coming to Israel's aid once they attack Iran will be our in to Iran!

The entire middle east and north Africa and our more than century of interference and exploitation will blow and we can take the blame for that too. Planting our military in the middle of the mess Bush has created out of the Middle East because of his failed Democratization program is going to be a Custer's Last Stand on a grand scale if we are still there when this breaks open! Looking at the war cabinet Obama has amassed I am going to say at this point that this is going to happen even under a President Obama. Watch out Iran! Watch out world! Can we keep this from turning into WW#?

Mornin Jim ... a tad off subject here, but I heard some brief talk on the car radio the other day that U.S. has folk's (politically) agreeing to let Israel make their own choice's on how they "choose" to deal with Iran, in other word's without interference from the U.S. and allies on the decision making, whether or not Israel decide's to use force against Iran for one reason or another. That's confusing to me? Would we just let any other country decide for themselves how they can handle another country? We didnt let Israel handle the Palestinian's they way they initially wanted to, eh? "IF" this is true ... couldnt that be ground's for Israel to start an unofficial attack against Iran, without anyone else's approval? ... and is that another way for the U.S. and allies to be indirectly involved in another war, that is started by Israel? I dont "love" Iran, okay ... but again Jim, I am for leaving countries alone, and we dont do that. I personally am sick of being the police, babysitter's, welfare/ social service's, military, No#1 leader's, instigator's and everything else to the world, connected with our bullshit style corporate ran democracy. I feel perfectly safe as far as defense, without attacking anyone, I know we have intercontinental missile's that can reach anywhere's and defend us and our's, so I'm content with that, that's just me. And of cousre I dont hate the Israeli people (we have Jew's in my familia) I just dont think that area is meant for modern Jew's, I wouldnt want to be a Jew and live there.

BTW ... I wouldnt even give any of these nation's a thing or dime who just backstab us "once" only ... which especially include's Pakistan for one ... I would turn them off like a lightswitch as far as dealing with them. Whether they starve or kill each other isnt my mour business, and any threat from any of these, I wouldnt even talk, or have any dialogue, just retaliate, that's how they feel about us and our culture Why should we kiss up to any of those, who especially would only degrade our women and children and pollute our cultural value's(?)

I'll shut up Jim, Thank You

RC I'm sure many on the right would love nothing more than to bomb Iran or have Israel do it for us but I don't think people realize what they are asking for. Our relations with the middle east are not that simple and any upsetting of the apple cart could stop the flow of oil. Remember in the 70s when we pissed of the Saudis what happened.

As for Syria I'm beginning to think that they couldn't handle a democracy much like Lebanon. We need to remember these cultures are not like ours. You can't just slap a new system on them overnight.

WTF? US military is preparing to send thousands of US troops, along with US Naval anti-missile ships and accompanying support personnel, to Israel.

US military is preparing to send thousands of US troops, along with US Naval anti-missile ships and accompanying support personnel, to Israel. :In one of the most blacked-out stories in America right now, the US military is preparing to send thousands of US troops, along with US Naval anti-missile ships and accompanying support personnel, to Israel. It took forever to find a second source for confirmation of this story and both relatively mainstream media outlets are in Israel. With one source saying the military deployment and corresponding exercises are to occur in January, the source providing most of the details suggests it will occur later this spring.

Calling it not just an “exercise”, but a “deployment”, the Jerusalem Post quotes US Lt.-Gen Frank Gorenc, Commander of the US Third Air Force based in Germany. The US Commander visited Israel two weeks ago to confirm details for “the deployment of several thousand American soldiers to Israel.” In an effort to respond to recent Iranian threats and counter-threats, Israel announced the largest ever missile defense exercise in its history. Now, it’s reported that the US military, including the US Navy, will be stationed throughout Israel, also taking part.

Yeah Demeur, you remember John McCain had that song by the "Beach Boys" (Barbera Ann) that he rewote and sand as a parody called "Bomb Bomb Iran" when he was running last, it was a hit too, regardless of his non octive voice : ) Ya'll know more about this stuff than I do though.

Thanx for the link to Globe research Jim ... I reckon that explain's the Iraq withdraw (which will still cost us out the ass with rent- a- mercenaries like Blackwater, currently changed their name to get back in contract negotiation's : ) ... and the sudden 2 month dog biscuit extension of employee tax break's and the unemployment extension, so we all "cheer" and "Jump for Joy" for a couple month's, to hold us off until the next shaft/ bite. So they can now spend more and focus on Iran, eh? : )

But this is actually the first of any detail that I read on this, I jusyt happened to catch this in part off some Texas talk radio. I am glad my nephew is out after 3 tour's in Iraq and working, doing well back home here (Marine Sgt), but I still have a neice (Army) too in Afghanistan, just hope the best for her ... I dont know how that relocation or deployment shit worx, you got a few son's if I brecall active, they would know alot more how that worx.

Later Jim!
