Perfect location for 9/11 trial: Leavenworth Kansas, United States Penitentiary!

My experience with Fort Leavenworth aside along with the fact that they kept OJ and other notables there it is the safest place in the world to hold military prisoners and conduct trials especially that of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other high-value detainees ! Watch the secret Leavenworth Prison tutorial and learn. Very interesting!

There are two kinds of soldiers at Fort Leavenworth, those without rank and pay and those with the keys. I am an ex MP and have had friends on both sides of the bars. As far as prisons go it and its record and reputation are stellar. This is not only where Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other high-value detainees should be held but where they should be tried! Why have we not heard the obvious, that they should be at the U.S. Disciplinary Barracks at Fort Leavenworth?

Alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other high-value detainees being held at GITMO and should be brought to Leavenworth! That would kill the Guantanamo and the New York problems. Kansas has had worse and there is no viable argument to use against using United States Penitentiary, Leavenworth.

Fort Leavenworth is the obvious location for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other high-value detainees and why on earth has once again the obvious been ignored while both party's pursue their biased ignorant self interest. I do not get it, this is where they should be and where they should be tried!

No matter where it's at they'll still whine and moan.

Point is that it should have stayed in NYC and our side gave in like it always does.

You know Tom, I agree! Since we keep hearing he will be tried convicted and put to death because he admitted everything I do not understand why we need a court and he hasn't been put to death yet.

I'm surprised that you are arguing against the Rule of Law on this one Jim.

Sure he confessed under torture. Hundreds of thousands of people confessed to consorting with Satan during the Spanish Inquisition. But they still had show trials before butchering those people to death.

Well, I guess that isn't helping my argument much...

In other news, we're sending in more navy ships to stop Iran from conquering the world, after they've been emboldened by their recent victory at Thermopylae.

Do you think this might be the year that we invade Iran and give their oil to Halliburton?

Keep Khalid in Leavenworth and try him there as long as the court is not a military tribunal. I have a problem the military trying criminals, you never know where that is going to end, pretty soon they will be outsourcing that to Haliburton too.

The "Shoe" bomber and McVeigh and Nicholls were tried in civilian courts, they were so-called terrorists too. Terror is a tactic and the people using those tactics are organized criminals and anarchists. They have no turf to defend like the Taliban, just a wandering bunch of highly organized, vicious killers who use religion as a crutch and a call to arms. Catch them, try them, convict them, just like they did in Kansas with the abortion doctor killer, jury in and out in 37 minutes. He was a terrorist too.

That's funny Wease! They say he is going to be tried before convicted. They already know what they are going to do. Man I really can't see invading Iran but if it happens I can see the oil going to Haliburton!

Holte I agree if we could count on an in and out Jury and shut up Khalid from ranting. I am pretty sure Judges have that power!

How America treats and tries other citizens will be how we're treated abroad, and worse. There is no excuse for throwing a legal process out the window. What if an American is charged with a heinous crime, it doesn't mean he, or she is guilty for having been accused. Throw in torture, sleep deprivation, and just plain wearing a suspect down. I blogged critical of a governor in Connecticut, I was put on the “arrest on sight” list. I got prison for being jumped on my property by a police informant. I left that state. I am seriously thinking of becoming “Free” and “American” outside this country.

Hi Viking, Welcome! I agree! You know what they say about payback. Pay back is a mother f5u@#er.

What goes around comes around! Sadly no matter where you go will not be good today because of all that is going on. I just saw this sorry about that!
