Israel's war mongering is bearing fruit as the middle east is closing in on them

Egypt declares state of alert after angry crowds storm embassy in Cairo , evacuates ambassador to Egypt after embassy attack. The incident was the second major eruption of violence at the embassy since five Egyptian border guards were killed last month during an Israeli operation against gunmen. That incident prompted Egypt briefly to threaten to withdraw its envoy. Israel is already embroiled in a diplomatic feud with Turkey, formerly one of its closest allies, over Israel's armed assault on a Gaza-bound aid flotilla in which nine people were killed. Israel's war mongering is bearing fruit!

Besides going after Iran another original goal of Bush's attack on Iraq was to get in the middle east to help Israel establish a buffer zone from increasing violence. As is always the case it has had the opposite affect.

Turkey's Erdogan heads to Egypt, unnerving an embattled Israel: Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan's North Africa tour comes at a critical time for Israel, whose diplomats were forced to flee Cairo this weekend after protesters attacked the Israeli embassy. Turkey is emerging as the center of growing regional opposition to Israel at a critical time. Turkey's leadership aad increasing influence, wielded on pliable new governments that have sprung up in the wake of Arab uprisings, could deepen Israel's isolation and pose serious security threats to the Jewish state. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who has become an increasingly vocal critic of Israel since the 2009 Gaza war, embarked today on a trip to Egypt, Libya, and Tunisia.

His regional tour comes as Israel's ties with both Turkey and Egypt have reached lows not seen in decades. Turkey, a major trade partner, recently cut ties after a diplomatic row over the 2010 Gaza flotilla, in which eight Turks and one Turkish-American were killed when Israeli commandos raided a boat seeking to break Israel's blockade of the Hamas-run territory.

Increased security around Israeli embassy in Jordan reported: The increased security comes amid the establishment over the weekend of a Facebook page calling for Jordanians to attend a "million-man protest" in front of the Israeli embassy in Amman on Sept. 15, The Israel Project and Yediot Acharonot reported.

Iran parliament voices support for attack on Israeli embassy in Cairo: Ismaeil Kowsari, foreign policy committee spokesman, said the members of parliament had voiced full support for "the ransacking" of the embassy by Egyptian Muslims, news network Press TV reported. Following the 1979 Islamic revolution, Iran declared Israel its political arch-foe and does not recognize its sovereignty. Ahmadinejad has even called for the elimination of the Jewish state from the Middle East and suggested it be relocated to Europe or North America.

The United States is mounting a diplomatic effort to prevent further deterioration in relations between U.S. allies Turkey and Israel. Turkey warns it would use force in the future to protect aid ships from Turkey trying to break Israel’s blockade of Gaza. The Obama administration has been seeking for some time ease Israeli-Turkish tensions but it is stepping up the effort, amid Turkish comments suggesting the political conflict could escalate into a military clash.

Relations between Turkey and Israel, once strategic allies, have gone downhill since May of last year when Israeli commandos boarded a Turkish ship trying to deliver relief supplies to Hamas-controlled Gaza. Thursday in Ankara, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Turkish warships would escort future aid boats leaving Turkey for Gaza, raising at least the potential of a military face-off with Israel. An Israeli spokesman described the Turkish comments as grave and serious but said Israel will not engage in saber-rattling and hopes the episode will pass.
This will not just "pass"

There is another war coming: In attacking Iraq Bush freed Iran up to pursue her version of new middle East order by interfering wherever she could while Bush was doing the same thing with his Middle East Democratization program. I think you can see how successful Bush and Cheney were with chaos creating Middle East Democracy program but you are barely seeing the results they created in Iran.

The goal absolutely is to be the country who decides which direction the new Middle East (dis)order will take. Bush started it by attacking Iraq to get into the middle east to destabilize it and start the new middle east order the idiot said God told him to do now it will be up to Iran and Saudi Arabia at least up front fight it out whether this goes the Iranian Shiite way or the Saudi Arabian Sunni way and do not forget Israel!

You know I firmly believe and have said so a million times by now that since 9/11 everything was construed to allow Bush to gain the power he needed to prosecute his new order not just in the Middle East but on the entire world! He diverted from Afghanistan to get back into the Middle East with the goal of setting up a larger safety zone for Israel and going after Iran. Both will fail! It has long been my contention that coming to Israel's aid once they attack Iran will be our in to Iran!

Israel lied to get nuclear weapons and will do anything to keep Iran from doing the same and challenging them. Remember Mordechai Vanunu whistle blower of Israel's clandestine nuclear program? Uzi Eilam former head of Israel's Atomic Energy Commission said Mordechai Vanunu did Israel a favor after revealing information about an illegal nuclear program at Israel's Dimona reactor. His information proved that Israel had broken the 1968 treaty on nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation. There is a US law that prohibits the support of countries that break the treaty in question.

I must admit Israel's hypocrisy and lies are a plan I have discussed often and I have to disagree with Eliam's final assertion. He says an attack on Iran's nuclear program would be counter productive. I beg to differ! The General hit the nail on the head though and does not know it. I have long asserted that Israel would attack Iran's nuclear interests and we would come to her rescue.

That is a fact that is why I find his final statement troubling and prophetic. He correctly said One strike is not practical. In order to delay the Iranian program for three to four years one needs an armada of aircraft, which only a super-power can provide. Only America can do it. Bingo! You know from numerous discussions here that Iran is involved in every Middle Eastern country not just Yemen, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia where they have corrupted elections for Shiite interests in Iraq, backing rebels in Yemen, and instigating attacks on Saudi oil fields. Bush freed Iran to instigate far and wide and they are.

Israel is not going to back down. The US is Israel's lap dog and when all is said and done they know the US will be there for them. I am sure the US plans to come to Israel's rescue and do it largely from the Gulf with numerous carrier fighter groups. When are we going to realize this entire mess I call a forever war is just beginning and this is our future. A future of war for us and profiteering for the elite. Israel will have their larger war.

Somewhere, sometime very soon, the US is going to engage in a "trigger" event, the event which will cause the foreign purses to snap shut and our collapse to occur.

This might be it. We just might implode because our idiotic right wing insists on blind support of a country that is now engaged in brutalization outside its borders, and increasingly violent suppression of its own citizens.

Seems like a hell of a reason to collapse to me.

Yeah JR I do believe you're right! We are very nervous as we should be because the entire world wants the PA to go to the UN soon but the US who is the sole backer of Israel. Backing Israel is the reason we attacked Iraq to get back in the Middle East and we will do anything possible to stay there until needed by Israel. You have heard me say many times that from day one we guaranteed a total explosion of the middle east and we are going to be right in the middle of it.

We're still a bit too wary for a new war in middle east. (I know it's all the same larger one.) Soon enough after the elites impose "austerity" on 99% of us Americans, they'll pull out the war mongering to distract us from our destroyed standard of living, and scapegoat Iran or Venezuela into conflict.

USA! USA! USA!

On that sad day marking the 10th anniversary of 9/11, I was reading the article "Dems Fret Aloud Over Obama's Re-Election" and all the comments in my NYTimes. It looks like a lot of fellow Democrats want to throw Obama under the bus and I can understand their frustration. The number of people Obama has thrown under the bus would give me carpa tunnel syndrome if I had to type them all!

I am really starting to get nervous that Rick Perry would run over Obama in the presidential election.

I think its time we started supporting Hillary to challenge Obama in a primary. I'm hoping we can start a grass roots movement in the blogosphere.

Let's face the facts fellow Democrats. Obama has really turned out to be a poor president who has been bought by the Multi-national banks and corporations. His only ability is to give smooth sounding speeches and campaign!

Hi MS! You know, Obama would be okay if he would remember he is no longer the community organizer but PUSA. I don't think he has to worry about Perry it is Romney we has to worry about.

Anyway you look at it the nut case party that has made him and us a failure are going to get him reelected.

Whether they win or not the next 4 are going to be the straw that broke the camels back.

As Repugs said last election, they are in charge and they get their way period. Whether they regain control or not we are screwed. They will accept nothing short of total collapse to blame it on Obama regardless of how low they have to stoop.

I see the Troll above has spammed you like he has me and several others. He has been so rude and obnoxious, I delete him from my blog, while allowing any polite conservative comment.

He's a coward, liar and a fascist. And those are only a few things I will say about him.

Dave I have to laugh, I wouldn't know that, I just speak it the way I see it. Thanks!
