Getting scary as Rove tries to drag it on saying Clinton still has a chance but Al Gore can end it today by coming out for whoever!

Of course Hillary vows to move on and win in West Virginia and she very well may but this chaos being fueled by the likes of Coulter, Limbaugh, Rove, and the complicit media must come to an end for the good of the country and the worlds future. I wanted to discuss Myanmar where I am hearing now that there may be up to 80,ooo dead. please watch any of many videos

That said once again I have to digress! I stayed up last night following events in North Carolina and Indiana. North Carolina was decided early on for Obama as expected but Indiana dragged on and on until I gave up and went to bed at 1:am expecting that I was right expecting a 50/50 split. Hey I was close and expect that if the Limbaugh, Rove factor was negated then Obama would have taken that to.

This is getting very chaotic instead of winding down as it should then it dawned on me that the man Al Gore can put an immediate end to this mess! It's an endorsement that both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama would love to score, but Al Gore has remained firmly neutral — even as the Democratic presidential race drags on months longer than expected. Many have speculated why Gore, one of the party's most popular figures, has decided to stay on the fence, but the former vice president said Tuesday the reason is really quite simple — and he still may yet come out for a candidate.

"My purpose in not endorsing a candidate is nothing elaborate," he told National Public Radio. “I’m simply watching and listening to the campaign. As a delegate to the convention I will cast my vote at the proper time. I haven’t ruled out making an endorsement prior to that time, but I haven’t been moved to do so.” Gore added, "I have respect for both candidates, they both have strengths, and I’m simply listening and watching like a lot of people."

The party's 2000 presidential candidate is easily the most sought after remaining undecided super delegates and his is perhaps one of the few remaining endorsements that could significantly alter the state of the race. But several political observers have suggested Gore is remaining neutral should he be called in to play the role of "party elder" and forge a compromise between the two candidates.

"I don't like that phrase party elder," Gore said of that suggestion. "I am not anxious to be playing that role. I just turned 60, which is the new 59. I am just a voter, and a recovering politician, and watching it carefully. "I don't know if that role really exists," Gore added. “I think the odds are overwhelming that it will tip rather decisively in one direction or another before the convention even meets.” But Gore acknowledged the party may have to review its nominating system after the presidential primary race has finally ended. “Probably it should be re-examined, but I prefer to wait until this is over to get a full picture on this has worked," he said. "I guess there’s widespread dissatisfaction with the idea of having so many so-called superdelgates, and maybe that will be the prevailing view when this is all over.” Gore may endorse and should quick

* Myanmar, the democratic nomination, Al Gore, feel free to discuss it in the comments. I will be there! Anyway, Al Gore as you can agree is right . We have to revamp the way the party works and this supposed Democratic voting process works or does not work but for now he can put and end to this whole chaotic divisive process by coming out right now for one or the other preferably to me Obama!

I just heard George McGovern switch from Hillary to endorse Obama. McGovern and other Super Delegates ask Hillary to drop out. Yeeha He's getting there!

I just turned on the news and now they're saying 100,000 dead in Myanmar. That is just overwhelming and mind boggling, What the heack is next?

I was just listening to the UN say let us in to help the people or else. Then I heard China say not yet leave them alone. Then I was thinking do you go to war over trying to help someone. Then I realized oh yeah Bush already lied and used that one.

Jim, I think Gore is being self serving to the extent that he does not want to find his environmental agenda on the back burner by his endorsing the loser. I will be announcing my own vote tomorrow.

Tom Don't get me going! no I'm really laughing. I can't wait to hear who you endorse. Endorsing Hillary is endorsing a loser to me but whoever Gore endorses would be the winner. The sooner the better! He is the democratic God!

I think Gore, Edwards, and many other of the superdelegates who refuse to endorse, are more to blame for the turmoil in the party than Hillary. There is no more to learn, get off your flabby white asses and end this thing ........NOW.

I don't understand why Gore or Edwards are silent. It seems to me they both favor Obama.

Gore is a party heavyweight, that's for sure. Remember he was burned in '04 by declaring for Dean so early on, so now he's doing the opposite. I think he wants a big role at the convention & in forming the party platform. He should weigh in on the whole superdelegate fiasco. I want to see them gone-finis-ferig. They stand in the way of the people; I have no use for them.

Now, Edwards, he has delegates of his own, not many, but possibly more useful as we near the magic 2025 number when he could become kingmaker.

(pw, I can't wait to see who TCat endorses!)

I have heard that Gore has some hard feelings toward the Clintons. Something about when he was vice president. I would suspect he would endorse Obama.I just don't think there is any love lost between the Clintons and Gores.
Was listening to Morning Joe earlier and of course wimpy Tucker Carlson was on stating the repugs want Obama to win because he is a weak cndidate.
Yes, I do watch morning Joe occassionally cause sometimes he has good guests on.
I just want Hillary to leave as there is apparently no way she can win. We need to get on the business of tearing after McCain

Brother
I forgot all about Edwards gee things are moving too fast. You know I would have preferred Gore then Edward, now Obama, but I believe that whoever Gore endorses will get it and end this destructive game.

By the way we're you been Buddy on the road? Anyway I do not understand why such party big wigs are still supposedly on the fence and to the detriment of us and the world letting this game drag on.
I think in reality McCain is very vulnerable when he goes up against Obama and the facts. The guy is just too damn old too! Senile? Much worse than Bush whose act stupid too endear tactics he is now replicating. This is all just sickening!

I think Gore should put An end to all this and weigh in right now. He is the absolute heavyweight of the party now and will not get burned but will influence totally who is nominated.
Gore has to be waiting just to make sure Obama has all that it really takes. Bush has made the future more formidable than the vast majority realize!

Hi MB
I know Gore has hard feelings from then for Bill but I do not know about Hill! I believe he will endorse Obama once he is sure he has what it takes.
I firmly believe the right and their complicit MSM want Hillary because as Bush said 2 years ago, they will defeat her. That is why since she whined she has been getting a buy. They all want this to drag on to our detriment but they do not know it will be to theirs and the worlds too!

Some months ago, whilst skewering McCain as insufficiently Repug,Coulter advocated spoilers enter all open primaries to disrupt the Dems would be in turmoil as long as possible. I didn't realise that Limbaugh & Co took up the idea but it has proved diabolically effective. Is McCain in an inducede coma at present, trying to consewrve his three scorfe & ten body for the final run against whoever?
Never mind endorsing someone Al, run yourself.
Both Clinton & Obama have too many negatives with the rabid right, rednecks and blue dogs to win.

jmsjoin said...

Hey Amphib how the hell are you?
yes Coulter, Rove, Limbaugh, the complicit MSM, are all trying to prolong this to the detriment of Democrats but it will be to the detriment of them and the world too. Romney threw his two cents in yesterday saying Hillary has the experience and should stay in. Them as holoes!
They see that Obama will win so now they are turning on him but I can't wait with an Obama McCain one on one because the true nightmare of McCain will sink him.
I wish Al would run! He would instantly unite the party and be our next President. Whoever he endorses will be the nominee! mcCain is too Damn old and vile!
