Pakistan's shadowy secret service: Pakistan arrests five men for helping CIA spy on Bin Laden house, if they were on our side they would be thanking them

Pakistan arrests five men for helping CIA spy on Bin Laden house: Pakistan's military Wednesday rejected a New York Times report that the country's intelligence agency has arrested some of the Pakistani informants who fed information to the Central Intelligence Agency in the months leading up to the U.S. raid that led to the death of Osama bin Laden.

Pakistan rejects US report on army major arrest in Osama raid: The fate of the CIA informants arrested in Pakistan is unclear, but American officials said that the CIA director, Leon E. Panetta, raised the issue when he traveled to Islamabad last week to meet with Pakistani military and intelligence officers. Of course Pakistan said claims of their arrest were baseless I am so sick of this crap. If claims of their arrest are baseless then show them and let us interview them on our own. We know who they are!

Pakistan's shadowy secret service: Pakistan's directorate for Inter-Services Intelligence, or ISI, is once again facing accusations of double-standards over its role in the fight against al-Qaeda and the Taliban.

Embarrassed by the Osama bin Laden raid and by a series of insurgent attacks on high-security sites, top Pakistani military officials are increasingly concerned that their ranks are penetrated by Islamists who are aiding militants in a campaign against the state.

Those worries have grown especially acute since the killing of bin Laden less than a mile from a prestigious military academy. The infiltration by heavily armed insurgents this week of a naval base in the megacity of Karachi — an attack widely believed to have required inside help and don't forget the massive extensive tunnel in the middle of the main prison floor in Kabul. Definitely inside help there! Pakistani military worried about collaborators in its ranks, officials say

It is about time they acknowledge it. We have been threatening Pakistan and warning them from day one as we knew there was complicity within ISI if not the Government too.The ISI, interservice intelligence, is part of the military.
You know of the extensive even pre 9/11 connection between them all.

Once again for the uninitiated I want to rehash "our ally" Pakistan's financial backing and intelligence help for the Taliban well before 9/11. They are also solely responsible for setting up our Afghan allies to be killed. I have to wonder if it was them that made it possible for that suicide bomber to kill those 9 CIA agents?

Any way look at this as the evidence has been piling up from day one and we are still giving them $100's of millions. Pakistan's intelligence agency, the ISI, calls the shots for the Taliban and other insurgent groups in Afghanistan, training, funding and giving shelter to them, a Harvard academic claims in a new paper that Pakistan's military dismissed as "rubbish." That isn't rubbish it is old news. Please read the story at the link then think back!

The US and Pakistan are pissed that the truth leaked out but too bad. The documents, made available by Wiki Leaks, suggest that Pakistan allows representatives of its spy service to meet directly with the Taliban in secret strategy sessions to organize networks of militant groups that fight against American soldiers in Afghanistan and even hatch plots to assassinate Afghan leaders and other US allies. Pakistan Spy Service Aids Insurgents, Reports Assert We already knew that anyway.

Remember the 911 movie, press for truth full movie here That has got to be the very best movie exposing the 9/11 cover up. Bush, Rice, Cheney, everyone of them said over and over that there was no forewarning that terrorists were going to strike and that planes could be used as missiles to bring down buildings.

The movie documents factually that we heard in 1995, that planes may be used but never concerned ourselves about it. We received multiple warnings prior to 9/11 that terrorists were around, planes would be used, and the towers were coming down. Surprising to me was that prior to 9/11 one of the hijackers backed out and turned himself in, telling authorities what was going to happen. He was given 2 lie detector tests that he passed with ease. I don't recall who in the Administration said it. But they were told to let him go and send him back to London.

9/11 was allowed to happen for a reason! Once it did occur we attacked Afghanistan of course. As you remember, Bin laden and many of the leadership were trapped in Tora Bora. In the past I have said Bin Laden was allowed to escape so bush could use him to keep fervor up and Afghani's were credited with being responsible for his escape. * Remember this! We knew there were four ways out and only guarded three. We gave them a way out.

Not only that but I remember hearing about a 1,000 car caravan but it was never mentioned that we were bombing the area around it but allowed the 1,000 car caravan carrying the Bin Laden entourage to escape into Pakistan and at night, come on. Now this part really irks me and I for one never heard anything about it and still don't. As far as I am concerned Pakistan is no friend of America's and will partner with India and turn on us when the time comes. We also heard over and over how Bush would track down any Al Qaeda finances and try anyone involved. He made a big deal out of the fact that someone outed the fact that we were checking out electronic transfers etc. Something he himself announced.

Then I watched the movie and find out that the head of the Pakistani ISI transferred $100,000 to Muhammad Atta just prior to the 9/11 attacks. This gets worse. Primarily because not only do we have records of this financing as well as pictures but we ignored it and supposedly are in cahoots with them. What happened to anyone caught aiding, abetting, or financing terrorism being hunted down? To make it worse, the joke of a sideshow they called the 9/11 commission hearings was an obvious farce.

We knew Rice and others were lying and Bush and Cheney were allowed to hold hands and lie together (take that any way you want). I think I vaguely remember hearing this but like everything else it was dismissed as insignificant. Anyway, the guy who ran Bush's election campaign if I remember correctly, was the one running the commission hearings. He was the one who decided what was significant and what wasn't as well as what questions could be asked. What the hell is that. This entire thing was stacked against the truth and the facts getting out. It is our duty as Americans to hold these liars accountable. We owe it to the victims. We owe it to our children. We owe it to our history and we owe it to ourselves and this underhanded crap just continues! How? Why?

To reiterate, 9/11 was allowed to happen. As you may remember, Bush was looking for something to happen that would put the country and the world behind what he already had plans to do. 9/11 gave him that something. He had plans right from the beginning to establish a new societal, middle east, and world order. That is why it was important to him to whip up a media and public fury which of course, he has done.

He then used the excuse of 9/11 to attack Iraq and unsettle the middle east so he could further his idea of a new middle east and world order. In doing so he guaranteed the loss of Afghanistan as well as Iraq and the entire middle east Of course lying all the while and whipping up as much support and frenzy as he could in the media and minds he controlled.

Now Obama is in charge of this mess and he knows the entire debacle was built on lies and we are giving Pakistan a billion dollars a year and we have known from before day one that Pakistan's Intelligence service has been supporting and paying Al Qaeda and the Taliban from before day one. They made 9/11 possible and are now helping the Taliban kill us and undermine our efforts in Afghanistan. We must force Pakistan to clean house if possible but it will not happen. Are we ever caught between a rock and a hard place. What will or can Obama do about this?

We knew the ISI was paying Attah before he flew into the towers and much worse but what the hell can we do? We are between a rock and a hard place and those republican asshole heroes Bush and Cheney put us here. We may be in Afghanistan for that trillion dollars in mineral rich's but I doubt it. We defeated Al Qaeda as a force to attack us.

I believe our real goal now is to go after the indigenous Taliban who belong there and we will never dislodge so we can perpetuate our war economy and stay next door to Pakistan's nuke's so we can secure them if we think they are in danger. We have been in there clandestinely for years to do just that.Boy are we screwed!

* Now we will see what we do in the area now that Bin Laden is dead as he should have been at Tora Bora. Tora Bora, known locally as Spīn Ghar, is a cave complex situated in the White Mountains (Safed Koh) of eastern Afghanistan. The outposts in use in 2001 were originally built by extending and shoring up natural caves, with the assistance of the CIA in the early 1980s (Operation Cyclone) for use by mujahideen during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. Yep! Tora Bora built with CIA help

2007 Michael Whitney 2nd Great Depression: The Coming Economic Hell For American Families is already here

I got this supposed breaking news and I hate to tell them but they are 4 years too late and America's hell is here! The Coming Economic Hell For American Families It has been here for years!

The Second and Greatest Depression is right around the Corner. This is stunning, I was still trying to Recover hours after first hearing this but became resolved to it 4 years ago!

As we listened to Bush's lies about wanting to fix Health Care I caught on the news that pretty soon health care will consume $1 of every $5 you spend and look where we are today. That is mind boggling in itself. Knowing he did nothing to help the average American or our America is sobering enough. That Idiot constantly lied and covered up all reality!

He bragged every day how great his economy is while we were left dumbfounded. People in staggering numbers are still losing their homes, ending up on the street, going hungry, unable to receive or afford even basic health care, or even satisfy life's basic needs. this is happening in America and I find it overwhelming. Why? In America?

Then four years ago I was sent this staggering information and I was 7 hours later just composing myself to be able to put this together.

The Second Great Depression By Mike Whitney" The US economy is in danger of a recession that will prove unusually long and severe. By any measure it is in far worse shape than in 2001-02 and the unraveling of the housing bubble is clearly at hand. It seems that the continuous buoyancy of the financial markets is again deluding many people about the gravity of the economic situation. 02/21/07 This week’s data on the sagging real estate market leaves no doubt that the housing bubble is quickly crashing to earth and that hard times are on the way.

There’s no doubt now, that Fed chairman Alan Greenspan’s plan to pump zillions of dollars into the system via "low interest rates" has created the biggest monster-bubble of all time and set the stage for a deep economic retrenchment. Greenspan’s inflationary policies were designed to expand the "wealth gap" and create greater economic polarization between the classes.

By the time the housing bubble deflates, millions of working class Americans will be left to pay off loans that are considerably higher than the current value of their home. This will inevitably create deeper societal divisions and, very likely, a permanent underclass of mortgage-slaves. A shrewd economist and student of history like Greenspan knew exactly what the consequences of his low interest rates would be. The trap was set to lure in unsuspecting borrowers.

In real terms, the economy is already in recession. The growth numbers are regularly massaged by the Commerce Department to put a smiley face on an under performing economy. Industrial output continues to flag (In January it was down by another .5%) while millions of good paying factory jobs are being air-mailed to China where labor is a mere fraction of the cost in the USA. Also, automobile inventories are up while factory production is in free fall.

Please read the entire report. It is very sobering and the first honest appraisal I have ever seen as to our dire Bush hidden financial future. In closing Mike say's Greenspan has led us sheep-like to the same precipice as the great depression. The economic dilemma we're facing could have been avoided if the expansion of personal credit had been curtailed by prudent monetary policy at the Federal Reserve and if wealth was more evenly distributed as it was in the ‘60's and ‘70's. But that’s not the case; so we're headed for hard times. Mike Whitney The second Great Depression 2007

* I will bet President Obama gets credit for this Bush created disaster too

China warned its Asian neighbors on Thursday to stop searching for oil near the Spratly Islands

China Communist Party newspaper cautions Vietnam: A newspaper published by China's ruling Communist Party warned Vietnam on Saturday to show restraint or come out the loser in an escalating squabble over territorial claims in the South China Sea as China Vietnam sea spat escalates

China: Neighbors Warned on Disputed Island Chain: China warned its Asian neighbors on Thursday to stop searching for oil near the Spratly Islands and vowed to assert its sovereignty over the potentially petroleum-rich territory.

We must maintain as much of the old world balance and order as we can to maintain a balance as we try to move progressively and successfully through the 21st century! I know of China and Japan's past, I know of the still ongoing Island disputes, the disagreement over natural gas in another area of the East China Sea, I also remember that with China's economic clout rising she took the number 3 seat on the world bank and we talk constantly that China is taking the leading role in Asia and Asia relations.

Being in a superior position puts one in a unique position of power and that power must be handled gracefully, with humility, responsibly, and not abused. That is something I taught all my sons and America under Bush did a lousy job of handling. I am a little worried that China too is getting a little too heavy handed and abusive with her new position of power and beginning to take what she wants instead of being content with what she has which is what I constantly lecture has to be the case if we are to have a future. The time when man and the planet could handle war and colonialism is over, period or else!

We are Taiwan's and Japan's protectors. Vietnam is no real threat to China so what is up here? As China flex's their military muscles in the area we are not supposed to worry. Just what are we supposed to think they are going to do with their advanced weaponry, missiles, stealth aircraft, aircraft carriers and the like. Their threats are going to become more ominous until they cannot be ignored and it is too late. We have been here before. The world was not supposed to worry as Hitler built his arsenal and we know how that turned out.

China aircraft carrier confirmed by general as they declare "routine" exercises in the Pacific. Nothing to fear?

China aircraft carrier confirmed by general

first Chinese aircraft carrier finally revealed: A top Chinese official for the first time revealed that the growing Chinese military will soon launch its first aircraft carrier."An aircraft carrier has been under construction, but has not been completed," China's Defense Minister Chen Bingde told a Hong Kong newspaper Tuesday in a rare admission for the secretive Chinese government.

The Chinese are working on a stealth aircraft said to be years away but looked pretty advanced to me, building a base in the middle east and in the Gulf of Aden, and building their first Aircraft carrier as they unveil a retrofitted Soviet carrier and announced a missile designed to sink aircraft carriers, they are also instigating around Asia with their Navy. They will get worse as we get closer to the way of the Roman Empire.

Cooperation between China Russia and the US is critical not just Russia but China too! Obama was right to say our ties will shape the future of the 21st century. The US and China are eying each other and moving very cautiously as they try to strike a balance. A few years back I began to view our relationship with China as the most important in the world. Not because we drove each others economy but because if at the time with Bush's instigation to war with Russia China due to the fact of how our 2 economies are so intertwined that if something happened China would side with us not Russia. I never imagined that today problems between China and Japan let alone Vietnam would be the issue.

As we discussed there have been at least three cases of groups of Chinese military ships crossing through the area of Okinawa since November 2008, first 4 ships then 6 then 8 and now 10 including destroyers and submarines. That case appeared to be the first involving surfaced submarines. The group of 10 ships, including the submarines, was observed about 90 miles (140 kilometers) southwest of Okinawa in international waters.

Two missile destroyers and three frigate ships from the same group were spotted participating in a flight exercise of carrier-based helicopters April 7-9, the Defense Ministry's Joint Staff Office said in a statement The war ships were in international waters but close to Okinawa and Japan was not notified. That area as you may know has natural resources under the ocean and islands claimed by both Nations. It is important that we stay in Okinawa as China plays a more important role in Asia and around the world as she gains strength militarily and economically as we just discussed. Remember our discussion on the importance of China and the US staying together to move successfully through the 21st century

Report: 'The worlds Drug War Has Failed' you don't say?

A report compiled by the Global Commission on Drug Policy, which includes former heads of state, a former U.N. secretary-general and a business mogul, the report calls on governments to end the criminalization of marijuana and other controlled substances. Report: 'The Drug War Has Failed' Bingo! Wow think about what this would mean to the US, Mexico, the entire world, violence, terrorism, everything. Wow!

Our 100 year drug war is tearing Mexico apart but unlike us I think they can win it! After 40 years the front line is now the entire US covering every State and all of Mexico. It has now engulfed and is endangering the very being of Mexico as a country and safety for its citizens. However this is not Nixon's 40 year drug war but the US 100 year drug war and we are losing! Saving Mexico
With our 100 year drug war and guns being purchased here and sent to Mexico then drugs being sent here feeding this drug war. This has not spilled over from Mexico it has spilled over from the US. That said, I think it is great that the cartels arte killing each other over drug routes but I do not like civilians endangered. I would rather there be no drug routes and no problem. I just wish it was possible for the drug runners to eradicate themselves.

I reiterate: eastern California, southern Arizona and New Mexico are clamping down and National Guard troops are now involved! With 560 kidnapped last year Phoenix has become the kidnap capitol of the US! The cartels now operate in every State in America. With a reported 100,000 foot soldiers many of them trained military soldiers who have deserted to fight on the more lucrative side this is a formidable force! What about the Mexico mafia?

We keep hearing that Mexico's war on drugs is spilling over into the US. Now Congress is meeting about it. We even had National Guard troops called to help because Mexico's drug war has endangered Border States. Weapons are being purchased from gun dealers around the United States and being smuggled into Mexico to be used by the Drug cartels to fight Mexico's military in fighting Mexico's drug war. I have a few questions for our brain dead Politicians as they are once again in denial!

First I want to say when you work with the US you are taking on a lot of trouble. Anyway if I remember correctly our authorities have bragged for years that they are fighting a war against drugs! war on drugs the price tag, updated for 2011 It is $4 trillion by now, America can not afford a war on Drugs and neither can the world, end it!

We know they do not but you want to say don't they ever think? They are purposely feeding the violence on the border they are supposedly very concerned about? If you buy marijuana in the US you are fueling the cartel drug wars in Mexico. Are they doing this on purpose? Last year there was 7,000 killed there. So far this year thousands more have been added to those Butchered, beheaded, murdered, for what? Juarez, New Mexico on the Border with El Paso, Texas is a battle zone. It is the hot spot in the cartel's fight for smuggling routes. The drug cartels and those officers and military not bought off by the cartels are in a full blown war.

Of course there are big fears of our drug war that spilled South to Mexico now spilling back to our side of the Border as violence and it is happening The violence is only there and fed by our insatiable hunger for marijuana and other drugs. We can end this! We can control the border as we still are not and put our military on the border. That is where they should be not on 733 US bases around the world.

Forget poor Mexico, forget Nixon's 40 year war on drugs, end America's Own 100 Year Failed War on Drugs!

We have been fighting a self professed war on Drugs for one hundred years! I wish someone would be able to figure out at what cost. It seems to me that the drug war has spilled over the Border with Mexico. However it went north to south. It is our drug war that has spilled into Mexico. It is us that have made Mexico the narco State it is. I do believe we should at least put American military on the border and do not really understand why it is not. That would go a long way in stopping the problem so I do not understand why they are not on the Border unless it is because a certain political interest still does not want the border secured to enable illegal immigration? Why else? A desire to keep this war going? For gain? of what?

I do believe we can end this! Put our National Guard on the Border in shifts! After I got out of the military I joined the reserves. I do not know how it works today because our troops are flat out. Besides one week end a month we use to be required to do 2 weeks as a unit somewhere to train. With 50 States they could all do their required 2 weeks on the border doing one thing or the other. The other half of the equation:

Legalize marijuana at least then if it works follow with the rest! That would kill much of the incentive for Cartels to be waging a war on drugs. Yes there is cocaine heroine and other drugs but marijuana is America's number one cash crop! That blew me away. According to official Government figures The value of the annual harvest exceeds that of corn, soybeans, or hay, the country's top three legal cash crops with an annual crop value of $35 Billion. There have been an estimated 100 million pot plants destroyed between 1981 and 2006 yet production has still increased 10 fold to 22 million pounds!

Legalize it, secure the border! Just imagine what it would be if it was legalized. Regulate it like alcohol, sell it in package stores! Tax it! Look at the potential revenue. Legalizing marijuana would end a hell of a lot of problems and create exactly zero! Think about it! The number one abused drug in the world is legal, Alcohol! It destroys numerous lives! What sane argument is there against legalization? None, none whatsoever! All we are doing with this insane war on drugs is driving people and not just kids to experiment and find a legal way to get high with common household products. We are only making the problem exponentially worse. END IT! LEGALIZE!

With the state of the worlds economy I think ending this loser of a war on drugs is doable. The world has shown that it can come together when it has to. We can do this! We can figure out a way to turn this into a win, win for us and a loser for all those gaining illicitly from the illegal drug trade.

Obama decision on troop withdrawals from Afghanistan will be real and come soon! Just what is real?

Gates Says NATO Forces Ready for Decisive Blow in Afghanistan

WH: US troop cuts in Afghanistan will be 'real'

Obama decision on Afghanistan troop withdrawal to come soon

Despite occasional spineless blows in both Pakistan and Afghanistan on mainly innocent men women and children they are supposedly fighting for but are killing so as to cower and gain control of, we are making headway and it is time to quietly fade away. Our men and women have done their job.Let them come home with their heads held high. Despite expected occasional setbacks and victories for the Taliban this just keeps getting better and better:

Taliban being 'decimated' in Helmand

Petraeus was right when he said this in March and it was made more true with the killing of UBL and now Kashmiri, keep em coming! Petraeus: tough spring ahead, but Afghan drawdown on

Despite the desperation and bravado recent defeats and general weariness after nine years of war are creating fissures within the Taliban. I just love it! I keep being told I am too optimistic but I am not, I am a realist and victory is up to us. Declare victory and leave.

That is all they want, they are sick of this fight. More than 500 mid level commanders were killed last year and they are forced to move every other day. The Taliban will continue to answer the call to fight as long as we remain on their soil. They have safe haven in Pakistan protected by the military and some in the ISI but it is eroding, will continue to go to Afghanistan and fight us even though they have had enough as long as we remain there.

A Mutiny Grows in Punjab

Midlevel Taliban Admit to a Rift With Top Leaders

Both Pakistan and Afghanistan are benefiting from Pakistan's military operations, better surveillance by law enforcement agencies and the death of key militants in U.S. drone strikes. Pakistan's anti-terror efforts are a key focus of the Obama administration, which wants the country to do more to target Taliban militants who regularly launch attacks against U.S. troops in Afghanistan.

U.S. officials have also expressed frustration with Pakistan's unwillingness to launch an offensive in North Waziristan, part of the country's lawless tribal region that hosts a large number of militants who wage attacks in Afghanistan. The Pakistani army says its troops are stretched too thin by other operations in the tribal region. It seems to be changing but many analysts believe the military is reluctant to cross militants with whom it has historical ties and could be useful allies in Afghanistan after foreign troops withdraw. Withdrawing foreign troops is the key!

So far over 1000 low level Taliban fighters have given up arms and decided to work for peace recently and the pace continues to pick up. However the blood bath continues as the Haqqani's remain defiant. Hundreds and now thousands of Afghan fighters continue to lay down arms, there are at least 45 armed groups or possibly more were in talks with the government on lower-level or local reintegration.

Those who want to sign up must stop fighting, cut ties with other militants and embrace the Afghan constitution. They provide the government information and surrender heavy weapons but are allowed to keep arms deemed essential for self-defense. That said at least a dozen so far have been attacked or killed.

Mullah Sangin of the Sangin province where the tribal uprising is taking place against the Taliban. The notorious Taliban stronghold has been bitterly contested by insurgents and drug traffickers ever since British troops arrived in 2006, but the government revealed that tribal elders, backed by some local insurgents, have agreed to stand up to the Taliban.

It was also announced that that one group of insurgents have already handed in their weapons in an attempt to join a local peace process in Sangin. They are fighting back, this is what has been happening in Pakistan and what had to happen in Afghanistan. Under the arrangement, local Taliban fighters will stop attacking US and Afghan forces and will keep non-local insurgents out of the Sarwan-Qala area of the upper Sangin Valley, according to a spokesman for the Helmand governor Gulab Mangal.

Foot patrols by government forces will continue and local people will be expected to help clear areas of homemade bombs and tip off local police as to their whereabouts.

"There was no signed agreement but we believe this will create the opportunity for other Taliban fighters to come and join the government," said Daoud Ahmadi. He said that the Afghan army, police and US forces were all represented at the traditional tribal Shura on a recent Saturday and some of the tribal elders had been given authority by the local Taliban to speak on their behalf. Afghanistan hopes tribal uprising will bring peace

I was listening to ex Taliban fighters and their Commanders who fought NATO and the US for 6 years saying they figure the Government now cares about them so they have now stopped, They point out besides they are sick of fighting and we are leaving anyway. Great! That Is what I was hoping for from the beginning. At least long enough to let us leave then they can kill each other again.

Around Spin Boldak we have Col. Razzik and his force of some 250 men who have become invaluable to the U.S.-led operations to seize Taliban redoubts in Kandahar province, U.S. commanders say. Unlike other Afghan security forces—often ineffectual, reluctant to fight or simply unfamiliar with Kandahar's terrain—his men have wowed American commanders with their tactical skills and determination.

"I have a clear strategy: When the enemies are killing us, we shouldn't be giving them flowers," Col. Razzik said in an interview, as he awaited a visit by the American ambassador to his fort-like base in the border town of Spin Boldak.

Col. Razzik's ability to safeguard the strategic Spin Boldak crossing from the Taliban in recent years has allowed him to stay in office. That job security comes despite what officials in Kabul and Washington say are well-founded concerns that he has been enriching himself and his patron, President Hamid Karzai's brother Ahmed Wali Karzai, with revenue from heroin smuggling, customs-skimming and bribes. people from his own tribe are scared to death of him and leaving the area. In Afghanistan, U.S. Turns 'Malignant Actor' Into Ally

I wish we would quickly kill the Haqqani's, both Jalaluddin and Sirajuddin and leave the rest to Pakistan. We are getting closer hitting a nerve and I can finally see success if Pakistan and the ISI cooperate. We have been taking down one key leader after the next for the last 6 months but with their rate of regeneration this is just beginning and we can not relent now nor think any form of victory is at hand. I wish we would get out and leave the rest up to Afghanistan and Pakistan, keep an eye on events, and see what they do from here on in. Our job as a ground force is done if we are smart enough to leave starting this year like we said we would.

Give the Taliban what they want and speed the pullout up. That will work for me if they would cooperate and stop raising hell until we left and then blow open Afghanistan as will be the case whether we stay or leave. Obama increased troop strength by 35000 for the surge. If it is working so well pull therm out but made up of back up troops not combatants we will need if this turns.

Our soldiers did their jobs there meritoriously! Get them out now with their heads held high instead of hung low for joining unnecessarily Afghanistan's graveyard of nations. We are kind of stuck but we should give Karzai supplies to feed and arm his fighting forces otherwise let him use his families drug money, we should make a quicker exit by leaving most of our trucks and supplies behind but hell the Taliban will get them as well as the country anyway.

We are stuck between a rock and a hard place and it was unnecessary. We could have used drones exclusively and stayed out of Afghanistan in the first place. We are on the Pakistan Afghanistan border right where the Taliban want us, If you have not yet give a quick look at "the Taliban get their first wish We have due to our arrogance and ignorance I would have to assume walked or should I say flew right into their trap at this point I am not sure we have a realistic choice..

Many Muslims believe that ancient Khorasan which covers parts of modern-day Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Iran, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan is the promised land from where they will secure the first victory in the end-of-time battle in which the final round, according to their beliefs, will be fought in Palestine-Lebanon-Syria. They are not desperate they are giddy this is finally under way!

Because of our secret plans to grab and secure Pakistan's mobile nuclear weapons I long ago came to the conclusion that securing them and the plan along the Afghanistan Pakistan Border to take out the Taliban when given the go ahead is the reason we are hanging around in Afghanistan. That is more than enough reason. Just imagine the peril of the world if Pakistan's nukes fell into the hands of the Taliban and other extremists. The entire world better come together and realize their very being is under threat here and they all must come together and do their share. What say you?

Taking down the Haqqani network more important than Killing Osama Bin Laden to Afghanistan and the war as Haqqani commander caught

With the death of Osama Bin Laden we were asked what his death would mean for the war in Afghanistan. Like the so called war on terror which includes the Taliban, Al Qaeda of every creed, and extremists of every ilk looking to carry on Osama's vendetta against the west, it will serve to fuel their cause. His death should mean just the opposite and it does to all true Muslims.

UBL "Osama Bin Laden, betrayed Islam! That said, I Googled the question of what Bin Laden's death meant to the war in Afghanistan. I did not even bother looking at the myriad of opinions because we already know the answer and my concern is someone who in reality is much more important to the war in Afghanistan but you can see the answer to what UBL's death means to the war in Afghanistan Here

NATO Nabs Haqqani Militant Leader in Afghanistan: A NATO statement on Friday says the militant is a local chief of the powerful Haqqani network, which is based in neighboring Pakistan's tribal belt. The group is a branch of the Afghan Taliban and a major enemy of U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan. It's led by Jalaluddin Haqqani and his son Sirajuddin.

I tried to find out to no avail which Haqqani commander was caught and exactly where and by who but to no avail. The information has not been made public yet. In searching though I found them to be known rapists and murderers and of course not true Muslims or faithful followers of Muhammad and true Islam. Some of the Haqqani's and commanders have even been captured and held after traveling to Saudi Arabia for the haj and gathering donations for their cause. That search is Here

The Haqqani's and their legendary stature are holding the so called terrorists force together. Their stature is legendary and hard earned.
The Haqqani network and their increasingly foreign fighters have become the main focus after 9 years of fighting. The Haqqani Network's North Waziristan leadership -- usually called the Miram Shah Shura consists of a number of Haqqani family members and closely associated long-serving commanders.

At the top of the network is Sirajuddin Haqqani, who oversees the group's political and military activities and is the main liaison to the Mullah Muhammad Omar led Quetta Shura Taliban, the Taliban's leadership body (named for the capital of Pakistan's Baluchistan province). He is also one of the network's liaisons to Pakistani Taliban figures and al-Qaeda.

He travels regularly into Afghanistan to coordinate with field commanders and occasionally to Peshawar and South Waziristan to connect with militants there. Remember Bowe Bergdhal? There are many field commanders in Afghanistan, but turnover is high because many get killed or captured. The most prominent is Mullah Sangin, who is believed to be holding Pfc. Bowe Bergdahl a captured U.S. soldier and Zakim Shah the movement's shadow governor of Khost province. Inside the Haqqani network

Jalaluddin Haqqani legendary leader who fought the Soviets and his son, Sirajuddin who directs operations are increasingly the targets of drones and now manned NATO aircraft in Pakistan as the Pakistani's have been leery to go in the area for whatever reason. Many are being killed, I heard over 80 in a week with no civilian casualties.

I wish we would quickly kill the Haqqani's, both Jalaluddin and Sirajuddin and leave the rest to Pakistan as our invasion of their country even to kill Taliban and Al Qaeda fighters who were known killers of NATO forces may be the straw that broke the camels back.

I would hate to see this unite the Haqqani network with Pakistan against us as Pakistan is furious and rightly so though it may be a ploy to placate civilians. I wish we would just come home. I do not want to see the scenario I discussed many times and that is taking on Pakistan from the Gulf and don't forget Iran. Damn, Damn, Damn!

Karzai warned NATO that Afghans will be forced to take unilateral action: Please kick us out

NATO: Arrests made in deadly north Afghan: NATO and Afghan forces captured a man they believe took part in a bomb attack that killed two prominent Afghan police officials and wounded the German general who commands troops in northern Afghanistan, the coalition said Wednesday. A night raid Monday carried out by Afghan forces under NATO led to the arrest

Karzai Warns NATO Against Air Attacks on Afghan Homes: President Hamid Karzai warned NATO on Tuesday that Afghans will no longer tolerate air strikes that result in civilian casualties. If they continue, he said, “we will be forced to take unilateral action in this regard.” Please do us a favor and kick us out. We can go home and monitor Afghanistan with drones taking out targets as necessary as we should have done in the first place. We could have saved thousands of lives and trillions of dollars. Please send us home where we should be!

I think we should give Karzai what he wants and stop night raids under a precondition. Asking us to stop drone attacks and now to stop night attacks and attacks on homes where the Taliban are hiding behind civilians is asking us to fail. Fine, we are not wanted there and are in the wrong country anyway. We should pull out of the cities and see what Karzai can do for a start or should I say the beginning of the end for him.

While we are at it we should stop giving the master of corruption the Billion dollars a day we are giving him and see how he does with his drug money. I have not heard anything about the pullout that was supposed to start this month and culminate in 2014. Give Karzai what he wants, give the Taliban what they want and speed the pullout up. That will work for me if they would cooperate and stop raising hell until we lift and then blow open Afghanistan as will be the case whether we stay or leave.

We are on the Pakistan Afghanistan border right where the Taliban want us, give a quick look at "the Taliban get their first wish We have due to our arrogance and ignorance I would have to assume walked or should I say flew right into their trap at this point I am not sure we have a realistic choice..

Taliban's chilling threat: We will not target your nukes we are going to take over your nuclear weapons and use them. OMG think of that world and unite!

There can be no refuge, they must be hunted down on both sides of the border like the dogs they are and killed or the entire world will pay the price.

At least 70 killed in 2-day battle on border of Pakistan, Afghanistan

Gilani's olive branch to militants

over a year and a half ago now Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari removed himself from the nuclear chain of command, transferring his authority to the prime minister.

This is almost 5 years ago but be on the alert, JSOC and Blackwater are there killing Taliban, running the drone program, and authorized to secure the nukes if they think they are endangered by the Taliban. They include JSOC as well as many Blackwater now XE employees under General McRaven

I talk about it often that I knew we had a force in place in Pakistan to secure their nukes if we think they are in danger of falling into extremists hands. I do not think I knew that General McChrystal was in charge of that force or that he was in charge of Cheney's assassin squads. I did know he was the head of the Delta force but never thought about their clandestine activities. I invite you to read this and think about it all! Obama's General "now General McRaven has the job" but McChrystal was Cheney's chief assassin If nothing else give this a quick read it is mind blowing!

This is a long held plan: The plan is a detailed plan to secure Pakistan's Soviet style mobile nuclear force if it appears they are in danger of falling into the hands of Al Qaeda, the Taliban, or any other "perceived" militants. Key word perceived! American intelligence sources say the operation would be conducted by Joint Special Operations Command, the super-secret commando unit headquartered at Fort Bragg, N.C.

The Taliban think they are getting away with something but they are being watched closely by JSOC ready to pounce and take them out when given the command. I say give it now and save lives. At least for me until a year ago JSOC and what they are doing in Pakistan and Afghanistan had not been divulged. I do not know if it is wise or not but Obama had let this out of the bag too. JSOC is the military's chief terrorists hunting squad and has units now operating in Afghanistan on Pakistan's western border.

A secondary mission is to secure foreign nuclear arsenals. As you know the mission has taken on added importance in recent months, as Islamic extremists have taken territory close to the capital of Islamabad and could destabilize Pakistan's shaky democracy. Pakistan appears to be holding off the Taliban threat thus the threat of the US too feel the need to act on defending their Nukes. Just in case the US Has Plan to Secure Pakistan Nukes if Country Falls to Taliban

Because of our secret plans to grab and secure Pakistans mobile nuclear weapons I long ago came to the conclusion that securing them and the plan along the Afghanistan Pakistan Border to take out the Taliban when given the go ahead is the reason we are hanging around in Afghanistan. That is more than enough reason. Just imagine the peril of the world if Pakistan's nukes fell into the hands of the Taliban and other extremists. The entire world better come together and realize their very being is under threat here and they all must come together and do their share.

Video:Residents in Syrian town of Jisr al-Shughour 'fear assault' as tanks mass over a lie

Video:Residents in Syrian town of Jisr al-Shughour 'fear assault'

Syria town braces for army attack: The northern Syrian town of Jisr al-Shughour braces for an army assault after the government says 120 security forces personnel were killed.

Not just that one town but every town, all citizens the want Democracy are in serious trouble. They better give up their quest or get prepared for the epic fight of their life. Iran's IRG ( Iranian Revolutionary Guard) is leading the fight to squash protesters and their desire for freedom. They are not going to allow it to happen period!

Supposedly 40 civilians were also killed and the civilians have asked the Government to step in and put an end to the protests. You can be sure the IRG and the Syrian Government set this up so they could come in with an iron fist and stop the protesters without mercy. They better be prepared! Some residents have set up checkpoints to monitor the so called security forces and the remaining have fled.

The Government said 120 officers were killed many shot in the back by mutinous citizens and 40 law abiding citizens were killed the same way. However this is Syria and the IRG adept at murdering their fellow citizens and you can believe the protesters when they say they are peaceful protests and the Government and IRG killed their own in order to justify putting a violent end to a peaceful justified protest.

Okay the civilians better be worried about a massacre coming up. Syrian soldiers behind deaths in north

I would not be naive enough to think they were mutinous soldiers going over to the protesters side to help them. What I just got through saying I am sure is the case. You can bet they sacrificed some of their own in order to satisfy the larger goal of stopping the protesters and violently. More coming you can bank on it.

Arab leaders seek UN-backed Palestine as Israel seeks to tighten grip on Jerusalem

Report: Arab League to seek UN membership for a Palestinian state: The 22-member Arab states will seek membership for a Palestinian state -- with East Jerusalem as its capital -- during the next United Nations session in September The Arab states vow to take all necessary steps but it will never happen! Israel will never be forced into sharing Jerusalem.

Israel's leader does not want to share Jerusalem Period!

In response to the worlds growing anger Israel Seeks to Tighten its Grip on Jerusalem

Netanyahu does not care what the rest of the world wants, they do not have to they have us to defend them. The entire world is signing up for a 2 state solution with a share Jerusalem. We keep having this conversation There is no way Israel is going to share Jerusalem or give up and of the buffer zone they have worked so hard to acquire.

Again I reiterate there will never be peace in the Middle East, period! Israel wants it her way and Iran/Syria want Israel obliterated, period, seems like peace is in Palestinian hands and depends on how much they are willing to bend because Israel will not. Israel and Iran have long been in preparation for this confrontation. As you know, when asked by a journalist how he felt upon returning to Iran in 1979 after 15 years in exile. Khomeini’s curt, one-word reply was “nothing” Whoa! From day one of his return to Iran Khomeini expressed no love for Iran only a love of the atom bomb. The drive even then was to possess a nuclear weapon though that desire is still denied until Iran can get their hands on one.

On the other side there is Israel who will give nothing and expects Palestinians to give up everything! I realized a long time ago that Israel is the world's chief war monger and we seem to do their bidding and fighting. If they get into a war with Iran we will end up coming to their rescue regardless of what they do or what is said or done and that is sad! We should in fact take care of Jewish American's and American's and our interests in Israel and otherwise tell them in no uncertain terms they are on their own if they continue to instigate war not peace and expecting us to come to their rescue.

* The ball is in Israel's court and I do not like what they are doing with it as they want to hold the ball till they get their way. Well the heck with them, we have given enough but the UN will not be able to force Israel to do its bidding. I am sure the US lap dog will keep anything from happening against Israel's will.

Pakistani military worried about collaborators in its ranks, officials say , ya think?

Top killer Kashmiri was indeed killed by a US drone Great! He was wanted by India, Pakistan, and the US and had $5 million on his head. He fell out of favor with the ISI. Hmm?

CIA team visits Osama hideout, searches for over six hours

Remember the 911 movie, press for truth? full movie here That has got to be the very best movie exposing the 9/11 cover up.

Drug gunmen force down Mexican police helicopter: drug gang shootout in Nayarit state kills 28

Drug gunmen force down Mexican police helicopter: Mexican police say one of their helicopters was forced to land after drug cartel gunmen opened fire on the craft, wounding two officers.

Mexico gang shootout in Nayarit state kills 28: A shootout between rival Mexican gangs has left at least 28 people dead, officials say. self eradication would work for me! Anyway I understand 34000 have been killed since 2006. That is insane!

END IT! LEGALIZE!

Gaddafi: Give me Libya or give me death as NATO Apaches hit first targets in Libya amid boots on ground fears and allied cooperation increases

NATO Apaches hit first targets in Libya amid boots on ground fears: ATTACK helicopters have struck Muammar Gaddafi's forces, as China acknowledged contact with rebels fighting to oust the Libyan leader and Russia prepared to send an envoy to broker a truce.

I think these are good developments, not so much the attack helicopters but Russia's involvement and more so China's. They were a major recipient of Gaddafi's oil and I am sure they would like to see this conflict resolved and continue receiving the oil only from the new rebel Government.

Hague Flies Into Benghazi To Meet Rebels: The Foreign Secretary is visiting Benghazi - after British Apache helicopters destroyed a radar installation and military checkpoint during their first operation in Libya.

Rebels celebrate gains in Libya's west: In a conflict stuck in a stalemate, Libya's rebels are hailing a success. They have taken over two towns in the West, ending months of siege by…

As you may know,Nato extended its mission in Libya another 90 days: Aside from Nato members, the talks at alliance headquarters included ambassadors from the five non-Nato countries participating in the Libya campaign; Jordan, Qatar, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates and Morocco.

Series of NATO strikes target Tripoli: NATO blasted Tripoli with a series of air strikes early Thursday, sending shuddering booms through the city. Ambulances, sirens blaring, could be heard racing through the Libyan capital after the rattling blasts. A NATO statement said the attacks hit military vehicle and ammunition depots, a surface -to-air missile launcher and a fire control radar.

Death, Prison or Exile: Gaddafi Is Out of Options: Muammar Gaddafi's options for a peaceful exit may have finally run out. For the second time in seven weeks, South African President Jacob Zuma on Monday failed to persuade the Libyan leader to abandon his 42-year rule. Gaddafi's refusal to heed the advice of longtime friends in the African Union (AU) raises the likelihood that his reign will end either with his indictment by the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague or with his death in a NATO air strike.

British officials say they have finally hit the point where they are considering sending so-called "bunker-buster" weapons, capable of destroying underground shelters in which Gaddafi and his family might be hiding. They should have done that on day one! Do it and in a mass attack of every site he may be at whether he is shielded by civilians or not. If they are stupid enough to be around Gaddafi they have made themselves targets.

I just want to end our commitment and head home where we should be. We have enough to do and Yemen and the Gulf of Aden the next front in the so called war on terror are heating up as we speak and getting reads to explode.

They "the forces loyal to Gaddafi" are not going to relent period. We can not get any deeper than we are so I am happy to see the rebels making gains but leery with Gaddafi forces encroaching on Tunisia and attempting to widen this war or whatever you want to call it. Gaddafi and his son Saif will never leave their Libya while they are alive so fulfill Gaddafi and Saif's desire to die on Libyan soil though the rebels do not want that as they do not want Libyan soil polluted but at any rate that would barely be a start to the cleansing that will be necessary but by the rebels not us. So sad especially when you laak at the large picture of our future.
