When are they going to stop lying and admit they can not stop this man made underwater oil volcano because they cracked the sea bottom?
BP, Feds Clash Over Reopening Capped Oil Well
We keep hearing about opening the well to relieve pressure but someone help me because that sounds redundant and pretty stupid! Doesn't pulling up supposedly 60000 barrels of oil per day do anything? Wouldn't that stand to reason relieve pressure/ What would be the difference of releasing it in a pipe or releasing it in the sea? Except more death and destruction! Is that the real goal? This does not stand well for our future. I do not like the possibilities!
We knew a long time ago they cracked the seabed floor when are they going to admit it? The federal government Monday allowed BP to keep the cap shut tight on its busted Gulf of Mexico oil well for another day despite a seep in the sea floor seen a ways from the well after the company promised to watch closely for signs of new leaks underground, settling for the moment a rift between BP and the government. How the hell can they still be stupid enough to believe BP?
When is Admiral Thad Allen, the Government, BP, or anyone in charge going to admit they can not stop this and the relief well will not work either? We have got to do something to stop this period as there are estimates of billions of gallons of oil in that reservoir and estimates of 2 years to stop it with the possibility of having to wait for it to run out.
The people in the Gulf might as well keep drilling for oil because their fishing is going to be dead for generations if we are around that long. This is of epic and Biblical proportions. This is life changing, this is planetary changing. Oil swallow, Jean Michal Cousteau, all the special clean up methods aside will be worthless as Billions of gallons of oil and a million gallons of deadly dispersant make the trip around the Gulf stream.
Think of this like putting an end cap on a very rusted pipe that's under pressure. Every time you do something to try and make the situation better you risk making it worse. At present they have some minor leakage. If they can get it to hold just a little longer that will make a kill from the relief well easier. Should the relief wells fail then there's a possibility they could put a large containment dome over the whole thing but not if the well is gushing. If they snap the casing at the sea floor all bets are off. Last option as I see it would be to drill several production wells in the general area and try and suck the resevoir dry but seeing as it's in shale then that would be just a crap shoot too.
An employee on BP's blown-out oil well tells government investigators he reported a leak of hydraulic fluid from a critical safety device but doesn't know if federal regulators were notified.
Government investigators are trying to determine whether BP missed the leak in the blowout presenter, which could have averted the April 20 explosion that killed 11 workers and loosed millions of gallons of oil into the Gulf of Mexico.
I understand they are going ti try something called static kill next to stop this disaster their stupidity caused. I think like you said, this will go over the existing small cap. I just am very pessimistic due to their money hungry ineptitude.
Demeur you want to see something interesting? I occasionally get those comments or whatever it is In Chinese and trash it.
I decided to check it out and it was in Chinese or whatever it is but go down to the bottom and click on the name Josh Peterson and it goes to his art site or whatever it is but it is quite good I thought!
James M. Joiner was born in Danvers and raised in Historic Salem, Massachusetts. "I was very lucky to have spent my childhood on Gallows Hill and a child of the streets in mid 1960s Salem. I roamed all the historic sites routinely as they were all free in those days," he says.
He attended the Essex Agricultural Institute and graduated from high school, after which he enlisted in the Air Force where he joined the military police. Upon his discharge he went back to farming but soon realized that he needed to do more to support his growing family – by then, he had a wife and three children – so he went back to school and earned a B.S. in accounting. Working a third-shift job so that he could attend college fulltime during the day, he found himself challenged by what he was seeing and learning at the Salem State Teachers College (now Salem University).
Jim’s first book, "Life In The Trenches Of American Society: How to Survive 21st Century Society” started him on a journey that currently encompasses six books, two must read manuscripts, a Manifesto to the World, and a Blog.
Jim lives and writes in Massachusetts.

I heard that the new "successful" cap is leaking and besides the sea floor they are investigating other anomalies and will be capping the cap. WTF?
