What about an Obama Hillary ticket and end this as under growing veil of Gloom, Pelosi wants it continued? Limbaugh & Republicans target Obama!

A Democratic Unity Ticket with Obama as president and Hillary as vice president would satisfy party factions, lower the temperature, lead to a landslide victory in November. Obama would bring to the marriage the young, the black, and the liberal suburbanites. Hillary would attract her proven constituency of older voters, women, whites, workers and Hispanics. On to victory. Yesterday I heard that Hillary wants Veep. I don't know if Obama can handle her and Bill but that would work for me.

Meanwhile this is getting worse! It ain't over 'til it's over, but a growing number of Hillary Rodham Clinton's closest friends now think it's really over. A veil of gloom descended on Clinton's campaign Wednesday, with people close to her questioning how long the former first lady could -- or should -- remain in the race following a surprisingly thin Indiana win and blowout loss in North Carolina on Tuesday. "I don't see any way she can put this together any more -- she can't win the popular vote or the delegate count -- so what's the rationale?" said a major Clinton supporter from New York, speaking on condition of anonymity. "I think the challenge now is letting her leave with dignity and grace and letting the process go forward. She has got to leave on a high note. She's got to determine her own exit strategy." Clinton's growing veil of Gloom

To make it even worse is trying to keep this mess going: The race for the Democratic presidential nomination is "alive and well" and must continue, according to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. "The people should all have the opportunity to speak as long as two candidates wish to compete in those primaries and caucuses," Pelosi said during a news conference Wednesday to promote Democratic energy proposals. "In a few weeks, we will be on our way to nominating the next president of the United States." Sen. Hillary Clinton is facing renewed pressure to drop out of the race following Tuesday's double-digit loss to Sen. Barack Obama in North Carolina and a narrow win in Indiana. Pelosi, D-California, said either candidate would be a great president. She said the "tremendous turnout" is "something positive that is coming out of this race." Asked if she could see any path to victory for Clinton, Pelosi said, "You never know in elections." Pelosi says race should continue

What the hell is wrong with this Republican wanabe? we have spoken, we want it over but I think we can really seal the Presidency but we better hurry up or we will be fighting on two fronts here to our detriment too!

For weeks Senator John McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee, has directed his most pointed barbs at Senator Obama. The Republican National Committee features an anti-Obama advertisement on its website home page, which has no mention of Senator Clinton. And at least one independent group that had ads attacking Senator Clinton is compiling new ones attacking Senator Obama. Officials in the McCain campaign team and at the Republican National Committee say that they have not counted Senator Clinton out, but some Republicans say the outcome is clear. "Right now Hillary Clinton may not be able to do the math, but Republicans have been for the last couple of weeks," said Kevin Madden, a Republican consultant.
Some of the issues that Republicans are beginning to raise paint a picture of what the election strategy against Senator Obama might look like. This includes using Senator Obama's support for withdrawing US troops from Iraq to portray him as weak on national security and his opposition to suspending the federal gas tax this northern summer to show that the senator is a tax-and-spend Democrat. A senior adviser to the McCain campaign team, Charlie Black, said it was prepared to face either Democrat in the general election and did not have a preference. Yet a memo written on Wednesday by Senator McCain's campaign manager, Rick Davis, analyzed the race as if Senator Obama, and not Senator Clinton, would be the opponent. Republicans target Obama

The thing that really annoys me is that Limbaugh has turned his mealy mouthed attention on Obama! He has publicly urged Republicans to vote for Sen. Hillary Clinton to keep the divisive Democratic nomination fight alive, but talk radio host Rush Limbaugh said Wednesday he really wants Sen. Barack Obama to be the party's nominee. "I now believe he would be the weakest of the Democrat nominees," Limbaugh, among the most powerful voices in conservative radio, said on his program. "I now urge the Democrat super delegates to make your mind up and publicly go for Obama. Rush Limbaugh urges vote for Obama

* I have to agree with the jerk. Lets get this over so Obama can go after McCain who I think one on one will be an easy target! Coulter, Rove, Limbaugh, the complicit MSM, are all trying to prolong this to the detriment of Democrats but it will be to the detriment of them and the world too. Romney threw his two cents in yesterday saying Hillary has the experience and should stay in. They see that Obama will win so now they are turning on him but I can't wait with an Obama McCain one on one because the true nightmare of McCain will sink him.I wish Al would run! He would instantly unite the party and be our next President. Whoever he endorses will be the nominee! McCain is too Damn old and vile! I believe an Obama Hillary ticket would unite the party and defeat McCain big time! I would be very interested in what the rest of you have to say.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm (as he shines tin-foil hat).......... Obama would have to have a serious death-wish to put Clinton on the ticket as his veep. He may be able to offer her a Cabinet position, like Sec of State or AG. Giving Hillary the Vice Presidency would, in all probability, sign his death warrant.

A senior citizen a heart beat away from the man, a generation younger, who's job she wants. Yeh, that'll ensure low blood pressure all around.
Al is the only hope for the country and the world over which its baleful influence washes.
Obama's only chance at the Presidency is to stay alive and maintain the surge of younger and/or first time voters.

Why would Obama want someone as his Vice President who claims he hates America, claims he is associated with terrorists and who says he isn't worthy to be president.

I hate top say it but I think you are right about the Death warrant! i also think it would be hell but we all have to sacrifice if we are to have a future.
I believe it would unite Democrats and independents almost 100% and defeat McCain unless the election is stolen one way or the other as expected!

Glad to keep hearing from you! You know I value your opinions! You know I agree with Gore but Shy of that I think if gaining control of the country was the prime concern then Obama would sacrifice and deal with containing Billary and guard against assassination!

Glad to see you around again. I know but she is getting more recipracatory as she realizes that is her only chance of getting in the White House again.
It is what happens after that scares me. it would unite the party and defeat McCain if there even is elections and they are not stolen again.
As you know Bush's created perfect storm is coming to a head and I will be discussing that today when I can get to it, soon I hope!

Pelosi doesn't surprise me.

She is a Republican, pretending to be a Democrat.

It's almost funny that when I pointed this out in 2005, folks told me that a Republican pretending to be a Democrat, is still better than a Republican that is out of the closet.

I guess it's the same idea that if you put a frilly dress on a Crocodile, then your children can safely play with it.

Unfortunately I can't bait people into saying that anymore. If I want that same strange felling of disconnectedness again, I'll probably have to do mushrooms and listen to Jefferson Airplane.

You know, I had hopes after the 2006 elections but they evaporated quickly! They are all complicit and Pelosi is the worst because she is so obvious and her position. I hope she loses to the woman competing for her seat. We have to get rid pf all the useless "tits on a bull" As we used to say in High School when referring to worthless people!

You know how I feel about a Barack/Hillary ticket.

She is against almost everything he is trying to do. And, when you take Hillary, you take Bill, as well.

Not good!! And Barack is smart enough to know that.

Brother
You're funny! I forget we're you're from. You got it though, same thing, useless!

I know how you feel and feel the same way. She and Bill are very abrasive but I do think it would capture all Democrats and many Independents and Obama has what it takes to keep them under control. We can not afford to have McCain in and I am so concerned Democrats because of their principles are going to screw up another one!

A Obama and Hillary ticket would be a good thing if she hadn't been so vicious about Obama. Many of us will never forgive her for that.

Minnesota
I am one of them that will not forgive her or Bill. I just believe that if Obama can deal with Billary that would seal a victory unless under a growing number of terible scenarios the election is taken out of our hands once again!
