I will be discussing the dire ramifications of Bush's idiocy in front of the Knesset but for now...

I wanted to discuss the dire ramifications of what the chief idiot said yesterday to the Knesset. After years of numerous dire predictions for our future sadly none of them wrong I will highlight The worthless but angry response of Democrats. McCain's capitalizing from what bush said, and Israel and Bush's agreement to stop Iran. Hopefully we can have an open thread and discuss all of this and more in the comment section.

First after yesterdays purposeful shot at derailing Democrats on the world stage in Israel that you hopefully just watched Democrats on Thursday condemned President Bush's insinuation that they would be appeasing terrorist states by holding talks, with one going so far as to call his remarks "bulls**t." Joe Biden, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said that if the president disagrees so strongly with the idea of talking to Iran, then he needs to fire his secretaries of state and defense, both of whom Biden said have pushed to sit down with the Iranians. "This is bulls**t. This is malarkey. This is outrageous. Outrageous for the president of the United States to go to a foreign country, sit in the Knesset ... and make this kind of ridiculous statement," he said.

"He's the guy who's weakened us. He's the guy that's increased the number of terrorists in the world. His policies have produced this vulnerability the United States has." Watch more of Biden's comments » Biden later told Wolf Blitzer on "The Situation Room" Thursday that he didn't mean to use a curse word. "I shouldn't have used that word. I came off the elevator and was confronted with what had happened, and I responded. ... I should have just said 'malarkey,' but the essence of what I was saying is absolutely accurate. This is outrageous." The president, at Israel's 60th anniversary celebration in Jerusalem, suggested that some Democrats were acting in the same way some Western leaders did when they appeased Hitler in the run-up to World War II. "As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: 'Lord, if only I could have talked to Hitler, all of this might have been avoided.' We have an obligation to call this what it is: the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history," he said while speaking to Israel's parliament, the Knesset. He called it a "foolish delusion" to think the U.S. can negotiate with terrorists.

Watch Bush describe what he calls a 'foolish delusion' » Biden later asked, "Since when does this administration think that if you sit down, you have to eliminate the word 'no' from your vocabulary?" Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, meanwhile, called on Bush to "explain the inconsistency between his administration's actions and his words today." "Not surprisingly, the engineer of the worst foreign policy in our nation's history has fired yet another reckless and reprehensible round," he said in a statement. The president did not name Sen. Barack Obama or any other Democrat, but White House aides privately acknowledged to CNN that the remarks were aimed at the presidential candidate and others in his party. After Bush's comments were reported, the White House denied that they were specifically aimed at Obama. "There are many who have suggested these types of negotiations with people that the president, President Bush, thinks that we should not talk to," White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said. Doubts about Obama with Jewish Americans were stoked by Sen. John McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee in the 2008 presidential election, when he recently charged that Obama is the favored candidate of Hamas. Please read Pelosi, Reid and others response

Meanwhile Bush won't be detered as he agrees with Israel to stop Iran! The United States and Israel agree on the need for "tangible action" to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's spokesman said after a visit by U.S. President George W. Bush. "We are on the same page. We both see the threat ... And we both understand that tangible action is required to prevent the Iranians from moving forward on a nuclear weapon," Olmert spokesman Mark Regev said on Friday.

Regev described diplomatic efforts so far to exert pressure on Iran as "positive", but added: "It is clearly not sufficient and it's clear that additional steps will have to be taken". Asked about the option of using military force, Regev said: "Leaders of many countries have talked about many options being on the table and, of course, Israel agrees with that." Bush ratcheted up his rhetoric toward Tehran in a speech to Israel's Knesset on Thursday, saying critics' calls for talks with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad were comparable to the "appeasement" of Adolf Hitler before World War Two. Israel says U.S. sees need for "tangible action" on Iran

We are in serious trouble as we "hope" to move into the future successfully. You know the dire situation still just developing as to the fuel situation, food wars, water wars, future wars, and what it all means to our future. Some of you have read my Manifesto to the World stating what is really going on, why, and how this is going to end up. That said I hope to have an on going conversation in the comments I will just have to step away on occasion. Stay with me!

I am beyond appalled. Beyond appalled.

The ONLY solution for dealing with terrorism and guerilla warfare is negotiation. If the response is military, then it always escalates.

ARGH.

And no, the applause was not overwhelming in support. It was merely polite.

I know, glad to talk to you. I am afraid it will play wel here and I fear a allowed terrorist attack or something before the election to keep bush's mess going. I am putting the rest of this together right now and hope to have a discussion. I have a bit of a busy day but will be here. Take care!

Jim, these are some quite amazing pictures you have down here! It CAPTURES the gist of these "scum's" existence!

I was at my dentist's yesterday and looked at Reader;s Digest, Condolence Rice talking about her "moral" superiority, equating their struggle as a painful and bloody one that is not easy to be carried by the America's good heart, nonetheless stating how necessary it was to create the bloodbath that they have created ... and at some point it felt like reading Himmler's memoirs!

Thr "high" Moral ground these criminals think they are walking is the EAXACT same "high" moral ground Nazis thought they were walking; they never considered themselves anything other than a melancholic bunch who had to sacrifice their soul for the future of human peace!!!!!!!!!!!!

But then reading her idiotic outbursts, I felt like she was justifying the second WW, as if it was a necessary "step" in ensuring that Germany, France and Russia will never be fighting eachother .. made me think she was again justifying another one of Hitler's objectives!

My God! it gets worse the more I hear. You know what I have been saying all along and I am afraid it is 100% dead on. We are in serious trouble!
I am just about to post the rest of this and I hope to have a discussion. Thanks by the way and take care!

To watch the videos on Biden and others they seem to be disabled but maybe the ones at the link at the bottom of the paragraph will work.

Naj, that must have been a terrifying read. In truth, since the Reagan years, America's heart has turned to stone, to ice, to something pestulant and evil. We've become insulated and xenophobic as a nation, and the language of the far right has co-opted the language of compassion, twisting it to instill fear.

Still, I have hope for a Democratic win in November - because if the Bush administration does allow an October attack, I think people will take to the streets.

Calling her Condolence is funny but there is nothing funny about their fear mongering. You know, Bush saying a US Senator wanted to appease the Nazi's was BS. In my recollection it was Chamberlain and he was replaced by Churchill!
Speaking of Churchill he said all we have to fear is fear itself and Bushco is making sure we have plenty to fear about and primarily from Democrats to the right the real enemy of America. We have to win but I see it stolen one way or the other!

just read this- to say that i am disgusted- well, it's a gross understatement. the peoples are willing- why is it always the fucking governments who aren't? oh- war profiteering and unending total power. got it.

The Senator he was speaking of was Sen William Borah, a Republican from Idaho.

His biggest gaffe was talking about the 'Nazi appeasers'. Does the idiot not realize his own grandpappy, Prescott Bush, was one of the biggest appeasers in America?

Betmo

I've been saying it for a while but President McCain appears to be a given Okay i said I'd shut up. Take care! sorry I took so long one of my sons called.

Okay but in not stating that guys name everyone thought Obama and the scum new it. You bet he knows about grampy that is why it pisses me off so much. He knows his family history. I friggen hate this crap! Polishifter did a good story on it today.

Brother
Did you check out this article on what happened after that appeasement speech. That must have been hillarious! http://www.atlargely.com/2008/05/

jmsjoin said...

sorry Brother I forgot to say that came from betmo!

When he made THAT remark, he was speaking of Borah. The irony I found was, Borah was a Republican.

Betmo's link was hilarious. Methinks there could be some truth to it.

Hi patriot...

I just don't have it in me to blog like I used to lately. It seems that the message is falling on deaf ears.

I had someone say they had utter contempt for me because I always refer to Bush as Der Fuhrer Adolph Bush and saying that Bush is no Hitler.

He also blasted me for referring to Judas Iscariot Lieberman as a Nazi for supporting Der Fuhrer and his policies which are in fact no different from Hitlers.

I am not a prejudice person but I have contempt for anyone of Jewish Heritage that would support the current administration and it's policies toward Muslims or the Islamic Religion.

There are fanatics in all religions and that includes the Christian and Jewish religion as well.

And what do we get into days news cycle?

Huckabee makes a joke at a NRA event in Kentucky about Obama having a gun pointed at him.

Yes, he made a joke about a Presidential Candidate being Assassinated.

I'm old enough to remember JFK, RFK and MLK and that is nothing to joke about.

Yes he apologized, however the damage has already been done.

There are a lot on the Right Wing of the Republican Fascist Nazi Party in the same mold as Eric Rudolph and Paul Hill who have no qualms about killing anyone.

So maybe Martial Law will be enacted because of riots it Huckabee's joke became reality.

No elections and suspension of the Constitution would be ensured since there would be riots in the streets and the burning of everything within site.

I am now more scared than ever of the direction our country is headed.

Well I'm done ranting now. Take care and ...

God Bless.

Lil Hitler's strut to war is a done deal and he doesn't mind talking to the enemies like China when he wants to sell our jobs and technology and military secrets, but to talk peace goes against everything Lil Hitler stands for.

Brother
I just replied but blew it away somehow! Anyway that is what pisses me off. Not that the chief scum says that crap because that underhanded scummy crap is standard but that Obama, Pelosi or no one else speaks out and lets everyone know the guy he was talking about was a Republican and that is the danger in them.
Also that pork project McGoon keeps talking about also belongs to a Republican. What the hell is wrong with these idiots? Do I have to teach them public Speaking and Debating?
Betmo's link was hilarious and not only did I love it but I believesd it.

So glad to hear from you, always a pleasure! I know you are stressed. Everyone is knowing what is happening and what is going to happen, Just relax and take care of your two new kitty's.
Don't worry about what people say you know you know I agree and you are right and you know it. The truth hurts okay I'm getting ready to be wise so I'll shut up. Anyway disable anonymous comments if that's what it is. I want to know whose speaking so I can derail them. Let me post this so I can finish without losing this!

I don't care if Huckabee apologized or not he said it and that is all that matters. I have written about it more than a few times but because of MLK, RFK, and JFK, I absolutely expect it with Obama if it comes to that but I expect other just as bad scenarios. Again I go a little farther than you so I will again shut up.
Rant on Buddy because your fears are justified and worse. As I keep telling everyone who can handle it be prepared because this is going to dwarf WW2 and the Depression combined and worse by design!

It is a done deal and worse. You see his economy designed to fail is happening at the same time, He gets credit for stopping the filling of our oil reserves that at 97% are probably the fullest they HAVE EVER BEEN IN PREPARATION FOR WAR, the food and water wars are just beginning, the environment is failing as the world ramps up to worsen it in a war that will not be survived as yon and I need it.
Larry I have to laugh! Not only does he talk to China under those conditions but He is in Saudi Arabia who is letting Egyptians kill themselves for a loaf of bread and beheaded a record number of people, and both of those countries are ultimate targets. Hold on Bud it gets closer every day despite what the idiot or anyone else says.

James, great post, and a most interesting thread. Divajood is becoming one of my favorite voices out and about. And whenever I see Naj. I know you're saying something important, and saying it well.

jmsjoin said...

Thanks Utah
I respect what you have to say very much! I don't know how I have managed to elude Divajood all this time or vice-a-versa but there was an instant rapport and like mindedness. I only speak the truth and expect honesty and the right thing done so you are both okay. Anyone I blog roll I will be in touch with regular unless they do not want.
naj was recommended to me and vice-a-versa because I write about Iran and the middle east a lot. I used to respond to her daily but I was of the impression she thought6 I was a pessimist or something because I guarantee Bush will ignore sense and attack Iran period or McCain will do it but of late she is coming around again because she is starting to see the ignorant war mongering mindset of Bushco, at least I think.
I will start visiting her site again but thought I should keep my opinions off her site for awhile. I like naj and she is an enlightening voice!
