Bush's war mongering Bearing grim fruit for the next President in the middle east, South West Asia worse and just as rapidly in our own backyard South America!
As I went through the news this morning to see what had to be discussed the important subjects were numerous. It just gets worse every single day! there are many overwhelming important subjects to discuss every day and today is no exception! However once again I have to digress and discuss the ugly fruit bush's war mongering is bearing for today and the future!

I wont go into great detail on Iraq the middle east and south West Asia not to speak of the rest of the world because I want to spend my time on our back yard as Bush arms whoever he wants and the remainder of the world is arming to take him on. this is sickening!

We see what is happening in Iraq and the middle east as Bush arms who he wants and Russia and China are arming those who are going to face him primarily but not exclusively Iran who we are told is arming Shiite we are fighting in Iraq. That success of Bush's that McCain wants to continue is increasingly being fought once again by Americans as it proves to be too much for Iraq. 20 dead and 52 wounded in clashes between the U.S. military and militiamen with the Mehdi Army

In South East Asia bush's inroads into Russia's domain by pushing former Russian satellites to join NATO and his insistence of putting the Missile Defense Shield on Russia's door step instead of England or numerous other less contentious spots are succeeding in building tensions in that area too as President Bush and Russian President Vladimir Putin failed to overcome sharp differences over a U.S. missile defense system, closing their seven-year relationship Sunday still far apart on an issue that has separated them from the beginning. This will only get worse with Medvedev
I know both Russia and China are arming many countries as they ally to take on Bush. I know build up has been occuring in South America but I was disturbed to see to what level this morning and just with Russia and Venezuela. Russia expects to sell at least three submarines to Venezuela in a deal to be inked when President Hugo Chavez visits next month, Russian news media reported Friday. The Interfax news agency and the daily Kommersant cited unnamed military-industrial officials as saying that the subs would be diesel-electric models, of the Varshavyanka class. "As of today, work to prepare the contract has practically been completed. The contract's signing will likely be timed with the visit of ... Chavez to Moscow, which is expected in May," the official was quoted as saying by Interfax.

A spokesman for state-run arms exporter Rosoboronexport had no comment; no one answered the phones at the Venezuelan Embassy in Moscow. Meanwhile, the daily Kommersant said Venezuela was seeking four submarines in all at a cost of $1 billion. The newspaper also quoted Deputy Finance Minister Dmitry Pankin as confirming talks on a $800 million loan from Russia for the purchase were also under way. The paper said the deal would be signed when Chavez travels to Moscow for the inauguration of incoming President Dmitry Medvedev.

During a visit to Russia last year, Chavez said that his country needs submarines to protect itself against its enemies -- foremost among them the United States. At that time, a top Rosoboronexport official said discussions centered on as many as five so-called "Project 636" Varshavyanka submarines. The ships, known in NATO terms as Kilo-class, are Russia's most advanced non-nuclear submarine. China, India and Iran, among others, have all purchased the subs in recent years. Caracas already has purchased some $3 billion worth of arms from Russia, including military helicopters, Kalashnikov rifles and Sukhoi fighter jets. Kommersant said Venezuela also was negotiating to buy 12 Il-76 military transport. Russia arming Venezuela against us

Fully agree, Jim. Except it's Southwest Asia. :-)

It is chilling Karen! Worse I don't see any way to avoid it as I pointed out once again that as Bush gives Billions in arms and advanced weaponry to those he thinks will be on his side Russia and China are doing the same for those who will fight against us.
This can only end one way and so much has been set in motion that if we are lucky enough to have elections and they are not stolen or Obama assassinated then the next President will have to fight the future wars Bush has already set in motion!

Thanks TC
I had a feeling I was screwing that up but I let it go anyway. I'll fix it now so thanks!

Hillary, the Busheviks, and the corporate media are still brainwashing Americans into thinking Chavez is some "Communist dictator".

Murikans ain't sposta know the difference 'tween communism and socialism.

They don't want us to know he was democratically elected, unlike Bush, and accepted the national vote to limit his terms of office.

He even went so far as to pardon some of the participants of the Bush backed coup against him.

I wonder if Bush or Hillary would do the same? Not in this world.

One thing in Chavez's favor is he may not need any of the military hardware if the US invades Iran. We won't have anything left to bother him with.

That probably won't stop us from trying, though. We need to show South America, and everyone else, who's boss. Who do they think they are, not letting the Bush Cartel have all their oil?

Dave
It is sickening but you are right. Once again we are spinning things in our favor and to make it look like we are the victims while being the instigators. It stinks because while we are building on Russia's doorstep they are doing the same to us. You know how this is going to and!

Chavez is committing the same "crime" that Castro did in the 1950s. He's insisting that his nation's resources be used to benefit his people instead of a few elites in his country and huge US corporations. How unamerican!

Worse is that he openly flaunts and antagonizes the Hedge! I am peeved that Bush is purposely bring his mess to our back door. He is bringing his antagonized war to us!

You are absolutely right. It's going to be the next president that will have to straighten out the mess Bush has made. I'll tell you, my biggest fear is that Obama will be assasinated, especially after reliving the King assisnation last week.

Hey Minnesota
There are so many scenarios it sickens me but as a last resort I absolutely expect Obama to be assassinated. Especially after researching RFK, MLK,and JFK. Whoever is behind the right will never allow Obama to happen, I also see no way the Republicans will let the abusive power Bush has stolen in Democrats hands. This nightmare is still unfolding and sadly Bush has yet to do his worse!

TomCat said...

MB, I'm afraid it will tale more than one President ti undo Bush's mess. That's why the GOP must be put out of business permanently.

I agree tc!
What sickens me is despite all their damage and lies I am afraid they are perpetrating even more and enough will fall for it or be labeled as anti Americans or unpatriotic to keep this nightmare right wing in power. i just keep hearing partisan posturing and no true obvious facts stated. It is sickening!
