We keep hearing about opening the well to relieve pressure but someone help me because that sounds redundant and pretty stupid! Doesn't pulling up supposedly 60000 barrels of oil per day do anything? Wouldn't that stand to reason relieve pressure/ What would be the difference of releasing it in a pipe or releasing it in the sea? Except more death and destruction! Is that the real goal? This does not stand well for our future. I do not like the possibilities!

We knew a long time ago they cracked the seabed floor when are they going to admit it? The federal government Monday allowed BP to keep the cap shut tight on its busted Gulf of Mexico oil well for another day despite a seep in the sea floor seen a ways from the well after the company promised to watch closely for signs of new leaks underground, settling for the moment a rift between BP and the government. How the hell can they still be stupid enough to believe BP?

BP says spent $4 billion on containing oil slick I reiterate, I am sick of them rubbing in how much they spent while screwing those people and destroying the Gulf. When is Admiral Thad Allen, the Government, BP, or anyone in charge going to admit they can not stop this and the relief well will not work either? We have got to do something to stop this period as there are estimates of billions of gallons of oil in that reservoir and estimates of 2 years to stop it with the possibility of having to wait for it to run out.


The people in the Gulf might as well keep drilling for oil because their fishing is going to be dead for generations if we are around that long. This is of epic and Biblical proportions. This is life changing, this is planetary changing. Oil swallow, Jean Michal Cousteau, all the special clean up methods aside will be worthless as Billions of gallons of oil and a million gallons of deadly dispersant make the trip around the Gulf stream.

On her face book page that ditz is making it clear that “radical environmentalists” are the ones who are really causing this catastrophe a mile under the sea. Couldn't be because BP ignored all failure warnings to get the oil up? She went on to say “Extreme deep water drilling is not the preferred choice to meet our country’s energy needs, but your protests and lawsuits and lies about onshore and shallow water drilling have locked up safer areas. It’s catching up with you. It isn't catching up to her? What planet does she live on?

Heck I don't recall anything like this on land but there is always accidents. To recommend drilling in Anwar is sick even for her and I do not like the idea of drilling in our bays or near our beaches either. That oil is long gone anyway and she is as tapped out as that supply of oil. She should be held accountable for passing misinformation or for misremembering, whatever you want to call it!

He said after 2 weeks of watching the BP circus his first thought was that they were morons and we can all agree with that!

BP has done absolutely nothing right period from the get go or this never would have happened. They obviously have never used the necessary technology to deal with this disaster they just got the equipment so they could use the lie that they were prepared. Nothing has gone right! Minimizing the ecological damage and helping the people whose lives they have destroyed they could care less about. Minimizing their financial liability and staying in control of their disaster is all that matters.

BP has no clue what they are doing nor do they want the people to know how bad this is or how bad the affect is going to be around the world. Originally BP's worst case scenario was this would go on until August, I automatically thought October, and now we are hearing it could be Christmas. Can anyone say 1 billion gallons of oil destroying the gulf, heading to Texas and Mexico then around the tip of Florida into the Gulf Stream up the East Coast over to Europe and around the world? We have a world disaster here, BP wants to hide it and the world does not know it!

Put BP on trial! Time to find out what was going on in those secret energy meetings between Bush/Cheney and the oil companies besides agreeing to stop all platform and well inspections and a reported 35 million dollar greasing of Cheney's hands. This is going to be bad and we can't allow this to happen again. I heard this will be in North Carolina by July. The Gulf stream usually brings warm water and Blues up here to Ma. and Maine in August. I wonder what it will bring this year?

BP is poisoning the cleanup workers with their oil and poisonous dispersant mix and they are trying to say it could be food poison. I mean cut the crap! These people have been on the sea all their life and never been sick a day in their life and some of them are still down for the count. James Cameron called a spade a spade by saying BP was a bunch of inept morons so though he is the expert they turned down his offer to help.

Seize BP's assets, take over control of this mess, the Government should be in control of this oil war not the proven inept BP. I think even the small Government Republicans will agree with that. Obama was right when he lashed out at Republicans Wednesday, linking their deregulatory philosophy to misdeeds by bankers, insurers and oil companies. John Boehner's immediate response was to continue to cry and play childish political games. Concern for our America and the world has got to take precedence over the every day childish politics. It is too frigging late now, it was a given from day one we were lied to, this was disastrous, it was monstrously larger than they are still admitting, and it was head to the Gulf stream. The day this happened and I warned of the enormous lie and definite catastrophe as this is a frigging oil well not a pipeline. I warned of the obvious fact that this was going to enter the gulf stream and head up the East coast before it crossed the Atlantic hit Europe and Norway before it went full circle. Supposedly the Government said the tar balls have started washing up at Key West and they were 6 or 8 inches wide. I saw a report and there was 20 and they were up to 30 inch tar balls. Secretary Salazar's head should roll along with Bush Cheney and all the rest of those involved with this oil lie. They better close them down before we have a worse disaster there. Supposedly there are worse wells there that would dwarf this horrific mess.

Salazar says the Government is partially responsible for not doing their job and enforcing the law. That gets BP off the hook. Screw them, drain the swamp. We and the world have to live with this somehow. As we said from day one, it does not take a so called expert or a scientist, this is going to be enormous and is already catastrophic. Undersea robots tried to thread a small tube into the jagged pipe that is pouring oil into the Gulf of Mexico early Friday in BP's latest attempt to cut down on the spill from a blown-out well that has pumped out more than 4 million gallons of crude at least according to estimates based on BP's lying underestimate to hide the truth as to how bad this really is.

     Remember our discussion on this oil hitting the Gulf Stream as it will and what about Mexico? We cannot allow this to get to the Gulf Stream. Boom efforts have been stopped because efforts were futile. They better concentrate their efforts on stopping that growing massive spill before it reaches the Gulf Stream. Gulf oil geyser heading towards the Gulf stream unabated   as you now know, it is as bad as I said and much worse than they admitted to or maybe even realize.

      I do not care what lies they tell, this is a massive unprecedented environmental disaster and it will be a catastrophe if it makes it to the Gulf Stream! So far 6800 square miles of prime fishing area have been shut down from fishing. The size of the undulating spill was about 3,650 square miles, or the size of Delaware and Rhode Island combined.

 So far the massive oil field has spread more than 60 miles as it headed for Florida's east coast and temporarily turned around heading west towards Mexico. It will turn again! . God forbid they let it reach the Gulf Stream While BP searches for ways to save their oil. BP says they will pay for this. BS, we will all pay for this especially if it reaches the Gulf Stream.

     If this massive oil gusher that has already poured a minimum of 4 million gallons of crude oil which I am sure is under estimated reaches the Gulf Stream we are in serious trouble! Cap that well now! If that oil reaches the Gulf Stream capped well or not it will be disastrous to the East coast and the world.

     From Florida the Gulf Stream will carry that oil right up the East Coast to New England's up to now rich fishing grounds then from there up to Canada then crossing the Atlantic to Europe and Norway.      You know the influence the gulf stream has on ocean temperatures. However I ask what influence would it have with millions of gallons of oil possibly altering its speed and temperature? Besides the shellfish, fish, birds, and the breeding grounds of innumerable other forms of wild life and man I ask what affect will this have in speeding up the melting of the ice caps? The entire world better wake up and become activated. This is one more problem the entire world must work on as like it or not this is going to in one way or the other affects us all.
