Bowe Bergdahl's Father Asks Taliban for Captured Soldier's Return, appeals to the Government, the ISI, and the Haqqani's, hmm!

Father appeals for release of captured U.S. soldier

Bowe Bergdahl's Father Asks Taliban for Captured Soldier's Return

Bergdahl was captured June 30th under what is still unknown circumstances. Two US officials said Bergdahl appears to have just wandered off his post unarmed. I also heard he just wandered into Town to visit Afghani's he thought had befriended him. I also heard he was drunk and wandered off base to be picked up by the Taliban. Also that he was grabbed by civilians and turned over to the Taliban.

Many of us have known from the beginning due to our own Government records and knowledge that some in the Pakistan Government and in the ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence) have been helping and protecting Al Qaeda and Taliban. I think to most Osama Bin Laden being watched from a safe house in their midst by the CIA before being killed proves they are the ones to talk to. I have long asserted they are protecting the Haqqani's too.

It is no coincidence that Pakistan's army would not go into Waziristan as that is where the Haqqani's are and no coincidence the name of Bin Laden's compound was "little Waziristan" It is very poignant that Robert Bergdahl is appealing to the ISI and the Government and not just the Haqqani's. Pfc Bergdahl has supposedly gotten comfortable with his captors and their life style even converting to Islam.

Anyway as you know, the US is increasingly taking matters into its own hands inside Pakistan. The Haqqani's network and their increasingly foreign fighters have become the main focus after 9 years of fighting. The Haqqani's Network's North Waziristan leadership -- usually called the Miram Shah Shura consists of a number of Haqqani's family members and closely associated long-serving commanders.

At the top of the network is Sirajuddin Haqqani who oversees the group's political and military activities and is the main liaison to the Mullah Muhammad Omar led Quetta Shura Taliban, the Taliban's leadership body (named for the capital of Pakistan's Baluchistan province). He is also one of the network's liaisons to Pakistani Taliban figures and al-Qaeda.

He travels regularly into Afghanistan to coordinate with field commanders and occasionally to Peshawar and South Waziristan to connect with militants there. There are many field commanders in Afghanistan, but turnover is high because many get killed or captured. The most prominent is Mullah Sangin, who is believed to be holding Pfc. Bowe Bergdahl a captured U.S. soldier and Zakim Shah the movement's shadow governor of Khost province.

Jalaluddin Haqqani legendary leader who fought the Soviets and his son, Sirajuddin who directs operations are increasingly the targets of drones and now manned NATO aircraft in Pakistan as the Pakistani's have been leery to go in the area for whatever reason. Many are being killed, I heard over 80 in a week with no civilian casualties.

I wish we would quickly kill the Haqqani's, both Jalaluddin and Sirajuddin and leave the rest to Pakistan as our invasion of their country even to kill Taliban and Al Qaeda fighters who were known killers of NATO forces may be the straw that broke the camels back. Having said that, marking Bergdahl's birthday's in captivity it would be nice to see him released regardless of the ISI, Government, Haqqani relationship.

There's no news here: Wiki leaks breaks the truth we knew that we give Pakistan $1 Billion per year and they have been helping kill us from day one

There is no real news here. There is no additional danger to our troops only to those stupid enough to try to help us. We did our job we have to get the hell out if we really want to end this. We have discussed this numerous times since 9/11 but the evidence gets deeper and deeper and more undeniable almost daily. Check out this detail and tell me what you think.

Once again for the uninitiated I want to rehash "our ally" Pakistan's financial backing and intelligence help for the Taliban well before 9/11. They are also solely responsible for setting up our Afghan allies to be killed. I have to wonder if it was them that made it possible for that suicide bomber to kill those 9 CIA agents?

Any way look at this as the evidence has been piling up from day one and we are still giving them $100's of millions. Pakistan's intelligence agency, the ISI, calls the shots for the Taliban and other insurgent groups in Afghanistan, training, funding and giving shelter to them, a Harvard academic claims in a new paper that Pakistan's military dismissed as "rubbish." That isn't rubbish it is old news. Please read the story at the link then think back!

The US and Pakistan are pissed that the truth leaked out but too bad. The documents, made available by Wiki Leaks, suggest that Pakistan allows representatives of its spy service to meet directly with the Taliban in secret strategy sessions to organize networks of militant groups that fight against American soldiers in Afghanistan and even hatch plots to assassinate Afghan leaders and other US allies. Pakistan Spy Service Aids Insurgents, Reports Assert

Remember The 911 movie, press for truth has got to be the very best movie exposing the 9/11 cover up. Bush, Rice, Cheney, everyone of them said over and over that there was no forewarning that terrorists were going to strike and that planes could be used as missiles to bring down buildings.

The movie documents factually that we heard in 1995 that planes may be used but never concerned ourselves about it. We received multiple warnings prior to 9/11 that terrorists were around, planes would be used, and the towers were coming down. Surprising to me was that prior to 9/11 one of the hijackers backed out and turned himself in, telling authorities what was going to happen. He was given 2 lie detector tests that he passed with ease. I don't recall who in the Administration said it. But they were told to let him go and send him back to London.

9/11 was allowed to happen for a reason! Once it did occur we attacked Afghanistan of course. As you remember, Bin laden and many of the leadership were trapped in Tora Bora. In the past I have said Bin Laden was allowed to escape so bush could use him to keep fervor up and Afghani's were credited with being responsible for his escape. We knew there were four ways out and only guarded three. We gave them a way out.

Not only that but I remember hearing about a 1,000 car caravan but it was never mentioned that we were bombing the area around it but allowed the 1,000 car caravan carrying the Bin Laden entourage to escape into Pakistan and at night, come on. Now this part really irks me and I for one never heard anything about it and still don't. As far as I am concerned Pakistan is no friend of America's and will partner with India and turn on us when the time comes. We also heard over and over how Bush would track down any Al Qaeda finances and try anyone involved. He made a big deal out of the fact that someone outed the fact that we were checking out electronic transfers etc. Something he himself announced.

Then I watched the movie and find out that the head of the Pakistani ISI transferred $100,000 to Muhammad Atta just prior to the 9/11 attacks. This gets worse. Primarily because not only do we have records of this financing as well as pictures but we ignored it and supposedly are in cahoots with them. What happened to anyone caught aiding, abetting, or financing terrorism being hunted down? To make it worse, the joke of a sideshow they called the 9/11 commission hearings was an obvious farce.

We knew Rice and others were lying and Bush and Cheney were allowed to hold hands and lie together (take that any way you want). I think I vaguely remember hearing this but like everything else it was dismissed as insignificant. Anyway, the guy who ran Bush's election campaign if I remember correctly, is the one running the commission hearings. He was the one who decided what was significant and what wasn't as well as what questions could be asked. What the hell is that. This entire thing was stacked against the truth and the facts getting out. It is our duty as Americans to hold these liars accountable. We owe it to the victims. We owe it to our children. We owe it to our history and we owe it to ourselves and this underhanded crap just continues! How? Why?

To reiterate, 9/11 was allowed to happen. As you may remember, Bush was looking for something to happen that would put the country and the world behind what he already had plans to do. 9/11 gave him that something. He had plans right from the beginning to establish a new societal, middle east, and world order. That is why it was important to him to whip up a media and public fury which of course, he has done.

He then used the excuse of 9/11 to attack Iraq and unsettle the middle east so he could further his idea of a new middle east and world order. In doing so he guaranteed the loss of Afghanistan as well as Iraq and the entire middle east Of course lying all the while and whipping up as much support and frenzy as he could in the media and minds he controlled.

Now Obama is in charge of this mess and he knows the entire debacle was built on lies and we are giving Pakistan a billion dollars a year and we have known from before day one that Pakistan's Intelligence service has been supporting and paying Al Qaeda and the Taliban from before day one. They made 9/11 possible and are now helping the Taliban kill us and undermine our efforts in Afghanistan. We must force Pakistan to clean house if possible but it will not happen. Are we ever caught between a rock and a hard place. What will or can Obama do about this?

We knew the ISI was paying Attah before he flew into the towers and much worse but what the hell can we do? We are between a rock and a hard place and those republican asshole heroes Bush and Cheney put us here. We may be in Afghanistan for that trillion dollars in mineral rich's but I doubt it. We defeated Al Qaeda as a force to attack us.

There are 100 left that are costing us billions to supposedly go after. I believe our real goal now is to go after the indigenous Taliban who belong there and we will never dislodge so we can perpetuate our war economy and stay next door to Pakistan's nuke's so we can secure them if we think they are in danger. We have been in there clandestinely for years to do just that.Boy  are we screwed! Get out now or else!

Pakistani intelligence funds and trains Taliban, expert argues! Duhh no kidding that is old news

Southeast Asia overtakes Middle East in number of civilians killed by terrorists, another perverse sign of success!

Pakistan closes in on Taliban as it creates increased terrorism. It will not end with a defeat in South Waziristan! In Pakistan this is no longer a battle against insurgents, every day it becomes increasingly obvious this is a war! Police say the suicide attacker in this instance too knew he was killing civilians as they were lined up to collect their monthly pensions. Women and children in a clothing market, grocery markets, people collecting their pensions, they are targets of retribution to the Taliban as the Government squeezes them in South Waziristan.

As the military makes continuing progress in South Waziristan militants continue to target the military and the Government elsewhere killing as many civilians as possible, I will never understand killing your own people because you have a beef with someone else. I do not get it? I am sick of hearing it is cowardly! Cowardly or what ever that is neither here nor there and is a waste of words, We will stop this period should be all that is said.

Saying the militants are cowards or they have no plan so they kill is a moot point, they have no legitimacy, we strongly condemn their actions. Big frigging deal do something about it! I hear the citizens may be growing weary of this and come out against the Government to stop their action in South Waziristan. The people better back the Government and remember who the Taliban are killing and will continue to kill if they were ruling.

I reiterate: The attack started some 7 months ago now and the Taliban backing up threats in some cases is increasingly bringing the fight to the Government. This is a defining moment. 30,000 Government troops are taking on some 10 to 15,000 militants many of them from the Mehsud tribe, hardened, desperate to kill and on their own turf. They are closing in on Haikimullah and must kill or capture him and all his killers period!

In this mountainous terrain long avoided by the Pakistani Government at elevations from 7 to 8,000 feet this is going to be a long tough fight! In fact it is being called the mother of all battles and it will be a mother! This is the third attempt by the Pakistani Government having sued for peace and withdraw in the past. They can not fail this time!

It will a huge setback if they are not successful in fact think about it, it would be catastrophic and short of putting boots on the ground we better be doing what we can behind the scenes to make sure they succeed! I am concerned about Pakistan's nukes falling into militant hands but not like I used to be. Despite a recent increase in bombings on Government buildings specifically targeting where the attack on South Waziristan was being planned I think it will backfire and Pakistan can do this!

I am impressed with Pakistan and her military as I have said many times. The Pakistani people are in a hell of a fight themselves and the world can be proud of them. I have more trust in Pakistan's ability to deal with the Taliban and other militants than with ours. Good luck and God bless, God bless the Lashkar too they are pivotal in this!

As result of all the success Pakistan's military has had against Al Qaeda, the Taliban, and other militants Southeast Asia has overtaken the Middle East in the number of civilians killed by terrorists, another perverse sign of success! I know civilians in Pakistan and Afghanistan are increasingly being targeted in order to hopefully turn them against the Government but hearing the growing civil war in Iraq with civilians and Government buildings being the targets of sectarian violence it is brutal hearing that South Asia has overtaken the middle east in civilian deaths by terrorists. Terrorist attacks spike in Pakistan, Afghanistan

Civilian Deaths Spike in Afghanistan, Pakistan - CBS News

I hate to see this happening to innocent citizens but this is a sign of desperation by the terrorists and a sign they are feeling increasingly threatened and Pakistan, Afghanistan, and NATO can not let up now but must press on until the insurgents step back so we can go home.

Pakistan is in a war for its very survival! I was surprised at how much we are helping them despite Denials!

Clinton: Fighting Extremism Can't Be Avoided as bomb hits Peshawar Bazaar

Pakistan's Taliban offensive rages on

On Pakistan's frontline

a potent car bomb ripped through Peshawar's Meena Bazaar, a crowded market selling women's clothes Targeting women and children, this shows Taliban resolve to kill everyone. The people better steal their resolve. They have got to be on the look out for anyone or thing that is not familiar or looks out of place or suspicious.

At the same time Pakistan advances in Taliban area as the offensive rages on The mass killing of their women and children in a friggen clothing market should enrage the soldiers and further steel their desire to rid Pakistan of these murderous militants. Pakistan is at war!

US Quietly Aids Pakistani Drives on Taliban I know many Pakistani's despise the US and I have to admit we deserve it. However Pakistan is in the fight of her life and it is our fault. This is critical and I was very pleased to see how much we are helping Pakistan despite denials by top officials.

The United States has quietly rushed hundreds of millions of dollars in arms, equipment and sophisticated sensors to Pakistani forces in recent months for the operations in the Swat valley and in South Waziristan. Obama spoke with a top General and personally gave the order to send whatever was need within limits of course.

We hurriedly and on the QT sent 10 Mi-17 troop transport helicopters, spare parts for Cobra helicopter gunships, night vision goggles, body armor and eavesdropping equipment. Supplying the infrared night vision for their f16 war planes has to be invaluable too . Drones while publicly bringing complaints have got to be a large part of the success in finding where the Taliban are hiding. We control the drones but the video and coordinates are immediately fed to ground commanders.

Lately I have been hearing from Pakistani friends that there has been an increase there in our military and undercover personnel. I hope these personnel are the American Special Forces soldiers and support personnel who are training and advising Pakistani Army and paramilitary troops for these operations. I know we heard it before but we are told they train only and do not engage in combat.

Like it or not we are in this together. I believe that our mutual success or failure in Afghanistan and Pakistan are intricately intertwined. One is worthless without the other. Pakistan's victory will be defined by eradicating the militants. To me our victory will be defined as doing what the local Afghani leaders suggest. If that is give us supplies and leave so be it. See you later our job is done!

Army captures Pakistani Taliban leader Hakimullah's home town of kotkai as Pakistan is understandably on edge! What's next?

Pakistan on edge after Taliban attacks

Pakistan troops retake Taliban stronghold in Waziristan

Army captures Pakistani Taliban leader's hometown recapture Hakimullah's home town of kotkai as Pakistan is understandably on edge!

Pakistan Air Force Site Is Bombed People are understandably nervous! They panic going to the market wondering where the next explosion will be? People are on edge after a string of attacks throughout Pakistan in retribution for military action in South Waziristan.

This offensive is increasingly defensive for Pakistan and all Pakistani's as Pakistan and the extremists go tit for tat. Victory hangs in the balance and can go either way or so it appears as Pakistan pounds the Taliban and closes in on Haikimullah! They are not backing down and can not as Pakistan bombs Taliban after capturing key town

South Waziristan the Hub, the Taliban Epicenter under attack by the Government despite Taliban attacks and threats!

Despite threats and numerous recent bombings from the Taliban if this stronghold was attacked by the Pakistani Government we knew the Government of Pakistan was necessarily getting more resolved to go into South Waziristan and clear out the militant hornets nest. It is now underway and thank God the Government has the Lashkar helping them!

I was very impressed watching these people. I just watched the video for the sixth time. I have never seen this kind of a greeting given to the Pakistani army and American reporters. We usually see the brandishing of weapons and zealous firing into the air and enthusiasm coming from the Taliban and other interests trying to take down one Government or another and to kill Americans. I recommend watching this I am not the only one who needs a boost. Volunteer militias push back Taliban

In the north western frontier soldiers were moving in a pincer movement from government areas in Razmak in the north into Makeen; from Wana in the west into Kani Gurram, and from Jandola in the east into Spinkai Raghzai. Reinforced by Pakistani fighter jets and watched over head by US drones ready to strike at available Taliban Al Qaeda militant targets.

The region is inside a ring of government-held towns of Jandola, Razmak and Shakhai, is the homeland of the Mehsud tribe. The death of Baitullah Mehsud I believe is what set all this in motion. You would be wrong to think the militants are on the run but they are under pressure and Pakistan will not relent. Pakistan Moves Troops Into Taliban Stronghold 60 militants killed in Pakistan's tribal area operation

The attack started Friday night and the Taliban backing up threats in some cases is actually bringing the fight to the Government. This is a defining moment. 80,000 of the 1/2 million area residents are on the move as a result of the fighting further complicating the Governments efforts. 28,000 Government troops are taking on some 10 to 15,000 militants many of them from the Mehsud tribe, hardened, desperate to kill and on their own turf.

In this mountainous terrain long avoided by the Pakistani Government at elevations from 7 to 8,000 feet this is going to be a long tough fight! Extra Judicial killings of Taliban in the Swat on the increase is good but by who? Pakistan? Taliban? ISI? CIA? Residents?

Things have really been looking up since the death of Baittulah Mehsud! When Baittulah Mehsud was killed we thought Mehsud in the end may prove to have been more important than Bin Laden as he gave the leaders protection and held them all together. As you know I said many times that if we are to succeed in bringing calm back to Pakistan and victory in Afghanistan it must begin with control of the the Swat valley and Waziristan and more importantly the death of Baittulah Mehsud so it has begun! Does Mehsud's Death Mean the End of Al Qaeda? | Newsweek ...

As you know, Taliban commanders have been killing each other as they have been jockeying for position since Baittulah was killed. We know Hakimullah Mehsud was supposedly elected as Pakistan's new Taliban leader. Meanwhile Waliur Rehman said that Baittulah had given him full control over the network. Also Mehsud's in-laws were being murdered as they were suspected of targeting him for the drone. Civilian militia's have also as you know started helping the military and have been hunting down the Taliban.

My best hopes are coming true here! The Pakistani army is making tremendous inroads as Pakistan army kills 45 Taliban; border reopens There seems to be a decapitation of the Taliban and al Qaeda at least in Pakistan. As hoped the Taliban are in disarray and hopefully will kill themselves off.

I really do not care who is killing them as long as they are killed! I feel a bit sadistic but I am very happy to hear Taliban bodies keep showing up! 30 more Bodies were just found sprinkled around the Swat Valley bringing the total to more than 150 in the last month. Last week, 22 bodies were found on the outskirts of Mingora some shot many times some with their hands bound behind their back. That sounds like Al Qaeda!More bodies in Pakistani valley

The military denies any reprisal killings and the militia is not taking credit so I am hoping the Taliban continues to do what they do best and that is kill! It is a big plus that they be killing each other instead of us and the Pakistani citizens. It is no coincidence to me that Taliban bodies started showing up all over the place there after Baittulah was killed. I can only hope whoever is doing it, it continues unabated! For whatever reason the Taliban is obviously feeling the heat as 105 Taliban surrender plus...

Eight of those that surrendered are close aides to Swat Taliban chieftain Maulana Fazlullah and two of those killed that led to their surrender were Taliban Commanders. I know there are 50 million more to go but this is a good start and momentum at least in Pakistan is on our side. Now if only Afghanistan will follow their example!!

I see a lot of progress being made in both Pakistan and Afghanistan so what I learned about the ISI making a deal with Pakistan's Taliban so they would leaver Pakistan alone and be free to fight the west in Afghanistan. There is too much going in in both countries and by more than one country so I will once again supply you with links to the story you may want to look at. Look at them all as together they paint the whole picture. I will present my synopsis at the end!

Dozens die in militant battle in NW Pakistan

US sees signs of disarray within Pakistani Taliban

I hope some of my friends in Pakistan help me understand this because man we are making major head way here in both Pakistan and Afghanistan. We know there is no making deals with the Taliban and Al Qaeda. We have seen the results of the deals Pakistan has made with the Taliban in the past. The action by the Government of Pakistan today is the result. The link above as really troubling to me!

With all of Pakistan's success and the death of Mehsud now is the time to strike not make deals. I understand that the major war lords in South Waziristan has long and extensive ties in the ISI. The agency is viewed with awe and dread. It is the eyes and ears of military power. The agency is notorious and feared eliciting awe and fear from Pakistani's as this report illustrates

Right now the ISI is in negations with war lords in South Waziristan for a treaty. Since Mehsud's reported death, the TTP ( Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan) has been beset by infighting as several high-level commanders vie to replace Mehsud. One or two commanders have already been killed and I wish they would kill themselves off. I know there are a reported 70 to 90 Taliban killed by pro Government forces but there is much to be done.
Instead of pressing the fight in South Waziristan there are negotiations with some war lords. Those identified as the most likely turncoats in this strategy are the leaders of the Ahmedzai Wazir tribe, Hafiz Gul Bahadur and Maulvi Nazir. Both are primarily interested in fighting against Western forces in Afghanistan. The ISI will leave them alone if they will leave Pakistan alone and concentrate on killing western forces in Afghanistan. What the hell is that? That can't happen! Pakistan Military Not Capitalizing on Taliban Disarray

Someone help me out here! I am hoping that is merely a ploy to get more cooperation concessions and money from the US. This pincer movement by Pakistan and NATO in Afghanistan is really bearing fruit. Now is not the time for anyone to step back but to step up. For the first time the Marines are taking control of Taliban held towns after extensive firefights. Troops exchanged heavy fire with insurgents in Dahaneh, in the southern province of Helmand, killing at least seven of them after an 8 hour firefight. The Taliban had been forewarned. U.S. Troops Move Deeper Into Afghanistan's Helmand Province; One Marine Killed - washingtonpost.com

On their end 600 British marine commandos killed 130 Taliban in their daring raid on bases in the opium-swamped Marjah region of Helmand. Six-hundred commandos fought in a ferocious 3 day assaul to take the most important Taliban stronghold yet. Pentagon Says Operations to Clear Taliban Will Expand

Make your deals do what you must but now is not the time to step back. I increasingly see more and more progress in our fight against the Taliban instead of the other way around. They are on the run and we must keep them running until more countries step up and we put an end to this.

Mehsud said to be alive but top 2 possible replacements just killed each other! Is this the beginning of the end?

Pakistan Taliban Leader Dead

Despite reports of his death Baitullah Mehsud is said to be very much alive and will appear on TV!

Two days ago many of us happily reported Baitullah Mehsud has died in a US missile strike on his Father in laws compound in the lawless region of South Waziristan. on Wednesday. Taliban commander and aide to Mehsud Kafayat Ullah confirmed the death of Mehsud and his wife but would not elaborate. Authorities are in the process of traveling to the area to confirm.

This is huge! Baitullah as you know is suspected in the killing of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. He has been the biggest threat there is to Pakistan with his open campaign to kill and destroy existing order in Pakistan. Also in providing safe haven for Mullah Omar and the rest of the Taliban Al Qaeda hierarchy. Mullah Omar and the rest whoever they are today are increasingly being squeezed.

If reports of his death are false as we are now hearing that would be huge for the Taliban! Pakistan Taliban denies leader dead

They are denying Mehsud's death but yesterday I also heard the top 2 guys vying to take over as Pakistan's Taliban leader got in a gun fight and killed each other. That would be a huge bonus for all of us. Things are developing Rapidly now. That makes 3 of the worst down and only 500 million replacements to go! Does Mehsud's Death Mean the End of Al Qaeda? | Newsweek ...

I think so! Mehsud in the end may prove to have been more important than Bin Laden as he gave the leaders protection and held them all together. The Taliban is in talks with the ISI but they better step them up. As you know I said many times that if we are to succeed in bringing calm back to Pakistan and victory in Afghanistan it must begin with control of the the Swat valley and Waziristan and more importantly the death of Baitullah Mehsud so it has begun!

India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, US, all ready to negotiate Obama's war? Well Maybe!

Mehsud trapped, Mullah Omar now negotiating with Pakistan officials! India is now the key to Pakistan's lock on Afghanistan! As Pakistan encloses Baitullah Mehsud only now is Mullah Omar prepared to negotiate with the US. We knew Mehsud was harboring Mullah Omar and the rest of the important Taliban leaders including Bin Laden if he is still alive. With the squeeze on it appears all parties are ready to negotiate including the US. 1 militant dead in shootout in central Pakistan

FACTBOX - US drone strikes in Pakistan

No negotiating with so called terrorists, unless it is in your favor. With this war get increasingly more expensive and with a necessary large increase in Afghani forces doubling its size requiring Billions more called for necessitating larger American training forces and dollars this is very timely in what has become Obama's war. An Afghan face is needed but I still do not see it happening. Army 'in contact' with Mullah Omar | Pakistan | News | Newspaper ...

At this point the whole key appears to be accommodations between long time rivals Pakistan and India. I do not care what they have to do just make believe they want to see peace come to the area if possible and do whatever is necessary to see that happen. Independent monitors can be used to oversee adherence. This must be done. I have been very pleased with Pakistan's success in South Waziristan now everyone including the US must step up and come together.

Mullah Omar still has a $10 Billion Bounty on his head but the US is ready to talk with the So called terrorist leader along with the other 3 leaders. First I have to ask does that mean Pakistan collects the reward for The men the Pakistan has been in touch with since Soviet involvement 30 years ago? Just asking!

Anyway President Obama and Richard Holbrook are now ready to talk to Mullah Omar one of our number one enemies. Karzai has been reaching out to Mullah Omar and now the US can and may reach out to him and the rest of the Taliban leaders. They will do so only if they agree to lay down arms. I don't care what is takes. Lay down arms to get us out of there and pick them up later like Iraq!

Holbrook will not rule out anything. Holbrook said we can make a deal with anyone especially all four of the Taliban leaders trapped by Pakistan. They all have ties with Afghanistan and the ISI all the way back to the Soviet involvement in Afghanistan. Only demand: Lay down your arms and get involved with the Political process in Afghanistan. They may do that but they absolutely refuse to gave a Democracy. It is though a start to ending I Hope our involvement in what has become Obama's war but India must help. Just help India! Everyone!
