The view highlighted McCain's lies but that is worthless, someone must take him and Palin to task before it is too late!

McCain Ad lies, calls Obama Disrespectful! WTF? Flat out Lies!

Obama Ad rightly calls McCain out of touch and unable to implement change! What about unwilling and a liar?

I have to laugh! Friggen McCain is a blatant obvious liar and when he was on the view they just let him lie and didn't confront him. Why? Republican nominee Sen. John McCain, appearing Friday on ABC's "The View," was aggressively pressed on Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's qualifications to be vice president as well as his new campaign ads that several independent fact-check groups have called misleading. Co-host Barbara Walters immediately questioned McCain about a remark he'd made that Palin might be the most "marvelous running mate" ever, asking, "That's not a little strong?" "We politicians are never given to exaggerations or hyperbole, as you know," McCain joked, before praising Palin as the most "popular governor in America" and one who has united a "spark in America."

* Walters went on to press Palin's reformist credentials, noting McCain has served in Washington for more than two decades and asking repeatedly, "Who's she going to reform, you?" McCain answered by saying Democrats have controlled Congress for two years, but then Walters quickly interrupted: "But tell me who she is going to reform -- we aren't talking about the economy, we're not talking about housing; she was chosen to reform, who is she going to reform?" Appearing somewhat frustrated, McCain said, "The Democrat Party, the Republican Party, even an independent. She'll reform all of Washington." Walters, seeming somewhat exasperated, asked, "How? What will she do? What is she going to reform specifically, senator?"

McCain said Palin had a strong record on vetoing earmark spending. "The fact is she was a reform governor, she took on an incumbent governor of her own party and defeated him. She sold the airplane and fired the chef," McCain said, referring to Palin's efforts to put her predecessor's state jet up for auction on eBay and her dismissal of the governor's personal chef. "She sold the airplane at a loss," Walters interrupted. McCain later was pressed on the increasingly derisive tone of the campaign and his new television commercial that carries the widely discredited claim Obama supported comprehensive sex education for kindergartners as an Illinois state senator. McCain defended the ad's claims as well as those of a Web ad that said Obama's "lipstick on a pig" comments were directed at Palin. He added that the tone of the campaign might have been more amicable if Obama had agreed to his proposals for a series of town-hall meetings. "If we had done what I asked Sen. Obama to do, I don't think you'd see the same tenor of this campaign," he said. "Why don't you ask Obama the next time he's on this show why won't he be in town meetings with me?" Walters responded, "You bring us Sarah Palin, and we'll ask Obama Love them women, read on! However when he lies which is every instance no one takes him on and they better before it is too late!

But what about earmarks? What about Lobbyists! Sen. John McCain has been a crusader against so-called earmarks and says his opponent, Sen. Barack Obama, has asked for almost $1 billion in pork-barrel projects for his state in just less than four years in the Senate. "Nearly a million dollars for every day that he's been in office! And that's change? My friends, don't be fooled," McCain said September 9. Just to put it into perspective, he got $98 million worth of earmarks in fiscal year 2008. Sen. [Hillary] Clinton got more than $300 million in earmarks, and Sen. [Thad] Cochran, Republican of the [Senate] Appropriations Committee, got $800 million in earmarks," Steve Ellis of Taxpayers for Common Sense said.

According to state records and Taxpayers for Common Sense, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has asked for about $450 million in federal money since she became governor. Palin also got into the earmarking game early, before she became governor. According to state records and Taxpayers for Common Sense, she helped get about $27 million, some of which went to the small Alaskan town of Wasilla, during her second term as mayor there, from 1998 to 2002. The watchdog group said one of the reasons was that she hired a lobbying firm run by a former staffer for Sen. Ted Stevens, R-Alaska, one of Washington's most legendary earmarkers. Someone has to take them to task for the numerous lies and now!

And remember amongst endless lies about Palin McCain and running mate Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin have criticized such spending as a central part of their campaign for the White House. McCain has made pork-busting a centerpiece of his maverick pitch for years. But when Palin served as mayor of her hometown of Wasilla, outside Anchorage, she obtained about $27 million in federal "earmarks" during her last four years in office, according to the watchdog group Taxpayers for Common Sense. In a 2001 statement opposing a transportation spending bill McCain singled out for criticism about $3 million worth of those projects. McCain's list of "objectionable" spending included a $2.5 million road project for the town that then had a population of 5,500, as well as a $450,000 appropriation for an agricultural processing plant there. McCain's campaign responded Wednesday by saying the record on pork-barrel spending "is one we are eager to discuss." Please do, take the liars to task or be sorry for ever

And don't forget McCain: The 'Anti-Lobbyist' Who Works With Lobbyists: In McCain's case, the fact that lobbyists are essentially running his presidential campaign -- most of them as volunteers -- seems to some people to be at odds with his anti-lobbying rhetoric. "He has a closer relationship with lobbyists than he lets on," said Melanie Sloan of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington. "The problem for McCain being so closely associated with lobbyists is that he's the candidate most closely associated with attacking lobbyists." Sen. John McCain said Friday that while lobbyists serve as close advisers to his presidential campaign, they are honorable and he is not influenced by corruption in the system. McCain, who has styled himself as an enemy of special interests, defended having lobbyists working for his campaign. Then the White House backs this crap up! Yeah righteous swindlers!

* I am telling you, McPalin is already marked to carry on this fascist agenda that is rapidly developing! Someone better stop just asking the right questions and ignoring the blatant lies and hold them accountable Before it is too late. We do not have much time left! The entire world will pay as they have with Bush if we by Hook or by Crook end up with McCain as President!

Let's hear it for the View gals!

They are real patriots for challenging Johnny McLobbyBoy.

Too bad CNN and the rest don't have the cajones of Joy and Babs and Whoopie.

I agree Dave! I just wished that instead of letting McCain off the hook when he said he wasn't lying that they took him to task. McCain and Palin are both lying their asses off.
I am sick of it that nobody takes them to task and just accepts the lies! Someone better do it quick or this election too is going to be stolen!

If Palin was serious about earmark she would pay back the roughly $500.00 per Alaskan resident through the money the state is collecting from the oil companies. If she can afford to buy votes with $1200.00 per person she could do that. Then I would believe that she was a reformer.

jerome!
Welcome, glad to have your input! She is not a reformer. She is not an environmentalist. She is a worthless liar that can be led so is exactly what the R needs tro continue Bush's mess.
Neanderthal Palin who wants the Polar bear off the endangered list, has a bear carcass on her couch, and advocates shooting wolfs from planes to protect her caribou burgers, and whose lying hubby and aides was subpoenaed in trooper gate, was forewarned!
A former ethics adviser to Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin warned in July that firing her public safety commissioner would become a "grave concern" for her administration. Wevley Shea, a former U.S. attorney and fellow Republican, urged Palin to apologize to former Commissioner Walt Monegan and fire anyone on her staff who discussed her former brother-in-law, state Trooper Mike Wooten, with the commissioner.
