I want to wish All a Happy Labor Day, Labor Day History, and wow think about this with Gustav being part of the Rights WW3 campaign, this is Scary!

First This absolutely blew me away and it falls exactly in line with what I keep saying about the Right and the Lie we are living today. This makes too much sense and we are screwed so I had to include it so others could see it, think about it, and pass it on if you think it should be! First a little Labor Day History:

HEADLINE NEWS WITH DBICKFORDTRUTHTV! HURRICANE GUSTAV CREATED BY HAARP! A WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION THE US GOVERNMENT IS USING! PAUL,KUCINICH,OBAMA,MCCAIN,ALEX JONES,ALL CONGRESS,SENATE,GOVERNORS KNOW THE TRUTH! 503-995-0567!

Now some labor Day History: I wanted to do this because while I was lying in bed listening to the news having my coffee here in Massachusetts they said labor day began right here in 1648 by Barrel and Shoe makers and when I started researching it I found that Labor Day and its history was as controversial as everything else! If you can believe it here it is from the Department of Labor:
The History of Labor Day

Labor Day: How it Came About; What it Means

Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.

Founder of Labor Day

More than 100 years after the first Labor Day observance, there is still some doubt as to who first proposed the holiday for workers.

Some records show that Peter J. McGuire, general secretary of the Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners and a cofounder of the American Federation of Labor, was first in suggesting a day to honor those "who from rude nature have delved and carved all the grandeur we behold."

But Peter McGuire's place in Labor Day history has not gone unchallenged. Many believe that Matthew Maguire, a machinist, not Peter McGuire, founded the holiday. Recent research seems to support the contention that Matthew Maguire, later the secretary of Local 344 of the International Association of Machinists in Paterson, N.J., proposed the holiday in 1882 while serving as secretary of the Central Labor Union in New York. What is clear is that the Central Labor Union adopted a Labor Day proposal and appointed a committee to plan a demonstration and picnic.

The First Labor Day

The first Labor Day holiday was celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City, in accordance with the plans of the Central Labor Union. The Central Labor Union held its second Labor Day holiday just a year later, on September 5, 1883.

In 1884 the first Monday in September was selected as the holiday, as originally proposed, and the Central Labor Union urged similar organizations in other cities to follow the example of New York and celebrate a "workingmen's holiday" on that date. The idea spread with the growth of labor organizations, and in 1885 Labor Day was celebrated in many industrial centers of the country.

Labor Day Legislation

Through the years the nation gave increasing emphasis to Labor Day. The first governmental recognition came through municipal ordinances passed during 1885 and 1886. From them developed the movement to secure state legislation. The first state bill was introduced into the New York legislature, but the first to become law was passed by Oregon on February 21, 1887. During the year four more states — Colorado, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York — created the Labor Day holiday by legislative enactment. By the end of the decade Connecticut, Nebraska, and Pennsylvania had followed suit. By 1894, 23 other states had adopted the holiday in honor of workers, and on June 28 of that year, Congress passed an act making the first Monday in September of each year a legal holiday in the District of Columbia and the territories.

A Nationwide Holiday

The form that the observance and celebration of Labor Day should take were outlined in the first proposal of the holiday — a street parade to exhibit to the public "the strength and esprit de corps of the trade and labor organizations" of the community, followed by a festival for the recreation and amusement of the workers and their families. This became the pattern for the celebrations of Labor Day. Speeches by prominent men and women were introduced later, as more emphasis was placed upon the economic and civic significance of the holiday. Still later, by a resolution of the American Federation of Labor convention of 1909, the Sunday preceding Labor Day was adopted as Labor Sunday and dedicated to the spiritual and educational aspects of the labor movement.

The character of the Labor Day celebration has undergone a change in recent years, especially in large industrial centers where mass displays and huge parades have proved a problem. This change, however, is more a shift in emphasis and medium of expression. Labor Day addresses by leading union officials, industrialists, educators, clerics and government officials are given wide coverage in newspapers, radio, and television.

The vital force of labor added materially to the highest standard of living and the greatest production the world has ever known and has brought us closer to the realization of our traditional ideals of economic and political democracy. It is appropriate, therefore, that the nation pay tribute on Labor Day to the creator of so much of the nation's strength, freedom, and leadership — the American worker. Dept of Labor's version of Labor Day!

I'm not looking forward to Labor Day. We're heading over to the in-laws where Republican Sheeple will join us. Since they are my wife's extended family, I am forced to hold my tongue. Who says torture doesn't happen in America?

You are a riot! I had to read why you weren't looking forward to it because I was like gee that's not normal! Good luck! I am not one that knows how to not speak up so I wish you luck! I don't care who they are they know how I feel. Try to have a nice day anyway with the wife and kids. I will be by but I am trying to get out a bit today myself for labor day!
Man I just mowed and ran over a bees nest. The little bastards had a feast . I have stingers in my legs because 2 hours later and I still feel them. I'll get them soon! Have a nice day!

At least the American working class has one day a year.

Their corporate masters have taken all the rest.

You know, With that said this to me is one of the most important days of the year. You know my running line of thought. You know we are living a total lie!
You know what is coming! Did you see that video? Makes total sense to me. Look at the way the Right is using Gustav! I heard McCain might address the RNC from elsewhere.
It is a friggen set up and the scum is going to appear as the hidden savior! It pisses me off that isn't necessary only to create drama. I would be interested in what you think! Happy Labor Day!

Update:
Sarah McChurchlady's daughter is pregnant! Out of wedlock, even.

While there is some truth in this guy's video, I can't buy into all his notions.

It can't be both climate change and HAARP causing Gustav. Maybe it is nature. And how do you aim a hurricane?

Governors have no "button" for their finger to be on.

Calling Kucinich a war criminal is a heck of a stretch.

He is simply stating what he believes, but the evidence is weak.

I think there's a tinfoil lining in his hat.

And a happy day to you.

I had to look you up after seeing you at Tom's. Curiosity kills the cat, they say. Hopefully not me.

That was a great history lesson. Thank you.

Damn Dave
Tell me what you think about that! I still think she is the Mother of the other one. Did you see the link at the bottom of yesterdays post. Too much evidence. This has to be a diversion and a cover up. Now she says she wants her space and Privacy.
During an election this just isn't right! I ran that by Lydia's this morning and I noticed they were already discussing that announcement. I was just outside. Gorgeou8s labor day here in new england!

I agree there is something there! It could be a hybrid of nature and HAARP! But I guess you have not followed HAARP too much! It depends on how widely the High Frequency radio waves are directed and where. check this out
Remember when communications went out in the middle east except for Iraq, us, and Israel? That was no boat anchor!
They also blamed at least one of the earth quakes in China on it! Like I always say and that guy said, there are no coincidences today! Watch the right benefit from this and steal another one until they get this Forever War going!

Hey Middle Ditch!
Welcome and glad you got curious! I guess I should say thanks Tom! You are welcome and thanks!

The Exposed Northerners soap opera gets more interesting each day.

I bet Sarah McChurchlady was a decoy or "trial balloon". If they got a boost in the polls, great. If not, or if this flap continues, watch her get replaced by somebody like Romney.

HAARP is an ominous and alarming program. I wish we had a way to verify its uses and effects.

We need to keep a skeptical eye on this business.

One thing is certain. They will not use it for compassionate or humane purposes.

I just heard that thyere are piles of Republican lawyers heading to Alaska to deal with all the crap that's coming up. Hell you know she is tits on a Bull and that is what Repugs want once againn. Not a leader but someone who will be led!
HAARP is most definitely being used. We will never hear the truth about it though. Brother is right but his big thing is we have HAARP but the Chinese and Russians have something too.
HAARP is nothing new either! You have probably heard me say it before but just imagine if one side has the ability to shut the others technology down? Navy dead in the water, jets gone, military except for those on the ground fighting the old way are rendered useless!

I was going through the news before I shut down last night and I saved a couple stories on that but there is so much happening so rapidly here and around the world I have to check things again as soon as I can and see what is most important to discuss today in my eyes!

Hi and thanks for those visits.

Yes we have become quite large at Middle Ditch. We started out with just five characters in the first episodes. Then two more were added. As the serial progressed more characters were written in ( and, regrettably, some were written out).

The recordings are a lot of fun and we try to get together every six week or so.

Meanwhile I keep writing episodes and my husband throws in the one off on several occasions.

Cheers for now ...
