Now we are starting to hear a tiny truth as Sarah Palin did not visit troops in Iraq, a spokesperson for the Republican vice presidential nominee confirmed Saturday, as new details emerged about the extent of the Alaska governor's foreign travel. In July of last year, Palin left North America for the first time to visit Alaskan troops stationed in Kuwait. Palin officials originally said her itinerary included U.S. military installations or outposts in Germany and Kuwait, and that she had visited Ireland.

The McCain team has twice pointed to law enforcement as the source for those estimates -- but the same officials denied to Bloomberg News that they had provided the numbers cited by the Republican nominee's campaign. "The McCain campaign said Gov. Palin opposed the bridge to nowhere, but now we know she supported it," said Obama spokesman Tommy Vietor in a statement. "They said she didn't seek earmarks, but now we know she hired a lobbyist to get millions in pork for her town and her state. Co-host Barbara Walters immediately questioned McCain about a remark he'd made that Palin might be the most "marvelous running mate" ever, asking, "That's not a little strong?" "We politicians are never given to exaggerations or hyperbole, as you know," McCain joked, before praising Palin as the most "popular governor in America" and one who has united a "spark in America."

* Walters went on to press Palin's reformist credentials, noting McCain has served in Washington for more than two decades and asking repeatedly, "Who's she going to reform, you?" McCain answered by saying Democrats have controlled Congress for two years, but then Walters quickly interrupted: "But tell me who she is going to reform -- we aren't talking about the economy, we're not talking about housing; she was chosen to reform, who is she going to reform?" Yesterday amidst conversation I was having regarding the march to war with Iran I noted My take on the surge is Bush must stay the course in Iraq until he finds his excuse to attack Iran but I do not mean from land. The troops and equipment must remain in Iraq too contain Iran and amidst the Betrayus lies that things are getting better it is obvious Bush is boxing them in! The chief idiot has more than enough armaments in the gulf with 3 carrier Battle groups and a French Carrier, the Charles De Gaulle at the mouth.

Plus as you know, Bush just upped the amount of advanced military hardware he is giving to Israel to 35 billion to offset the 20 Billion $ worth he is given to Saudi Arabia and other supposed allies to offset Iran. It is quite a mess Bush is developing as he pursues his new middle east order. As most of you know by now. Bush had plans to go after Iran before he attacked Iraq to get back into the middle east and he will not stop there as he furthers his new middle east order.
