Mrs Smith goes to Washington: McCain retracts Palin's comments, SNL skit on Sarah Palin, Mcain-s VP nightmare just beginning, Yhep she's qualified!

SNL skit on Sarah Palin's CBS News Interview with Katie Couric

Sarah Palin Vs. Tina Fey Katie Couric SNL Spoof

SNL Spoof, Sarah Palin & Tina Fey with Split Screen Comparison

McCain's VEEP nightmare just beginning!

This is really sick: Sen. John McCain retracted Sarah Palin's stance on Pakistan Sunday morning, after the Alaska governor appeared to back Sen. Barack Obama's support for unilateral strikes inside Pakistan against terrorists. "She would not…she understands and has stated repeatedly that we're not going to do anything except in America's national security interest," McCain told ABC's George Stephanopoulos of Palin. "In all due respect, people going around and… sticking a microphone while conversations are being held, and then all of a sudden that's—that's a person's position… This is a free country, but I don't think most Americans think that that's a definitive policy statement made by Governor Palin."

Saturday night, while on a stop for cheese steaks in South Philadelphia, Palin was questioned by a Temple graduate student about whether the U.S. should cross the border from Afghanistan into Pakistan. "If that's what we have to do stop the terrorists from coming any further in, absolutely, we should," Palin said. During Friday night's presidential debate in Mississippi, Obama took a similar stance and condemned the Bush administration for failing to act on the possibility terrorists are in Pakistan.

"Nobody talked about attacking Pakistan," Obama said after McCain accused the Illinois senator of wanting to announce an invasion. "If the United States has al Qaeda, bin Laden, top-level lieutenants in our sights, and Pakistan is unable or unwilling to act, then we should take them out." McCain emphasized Sunday, Palin "shares" his view on the matter. McCain retracts Palin statements

I reiterate Yhep that is just what we need in the White House again! It is not just painful, but frightening to watch someone who could become the vice president of the United States stumbling around in an interview. Ms. Couric asked Ms. Palin to explain how Alaska’s proximity to Russia “enhances your foreign policy credentials.” “Well, it certainly does,” Ms. Palin replied, “because our, our next-door neighbors are foreign countries, there in the state that I am the executive of.

Was Palin a set up to get Conservatives behind Romney who will be her replacement? Even my wife who hates politics and I piss off at least once a day discussing this mess before she yells at me to shut up is stupefied by the stupidity and unqualification of Palin to be representing us. It is an insult to see her defended as being qualified to represent us and run the country if need be! There is no way in hell. What a friggen nightmare! I was insulted even having her at the UN meeting. I don't remember which country it was but when the dignitary shook her hand he said she was gorgeous and he wanted to hug her. WTF? What the hell was that? What the hell are we supposed to think? She is no Hillary, she is an insult to the many qualified women we have. There is no way in hell she can deal with the mess Bush has made of America and the world! Who the hell would be pulling the strings if Palin God forbid was stolen in with McCain and he died in office? Rove? Cheney? Bush? Who? I am really glad to see MSM wake up and start to question this. They better do it loudly before it is too late though Romney would be no improvement! Send her back to Alaska!

Watch the video McCain is mentally unbalanced as Sarah Palin Paling pailing gone!

McCain is mentally imbalanced, this is unbelievable!

OMG Palin actually defends living next to Russia and Canada is foreign policy experience. She is a brain dead ditz! No way in hell she s/b in the White House!

She is an insult to all experienced women in politics let alone the rest of us. I am glad to see questions finally being raised. Send her back to Alaska to grow up! Palin's been majorly controlled but one time being interviewed and red flags are out! The country is understandably focused on the financial crisis. But there is another serious issue in front of us that is not getting nearly enough attention, and that’s whether Sarah Palin is qualified to be vice president — or, if the situation were to arise, president of the United States. History has shown again and again that a vice president must be ready to assume command of the ship of state on a moment’s notice. But Ms. Palin has given no indication yet that she is capable of handling the monumental responsibilities of the presidency if she were called upon to do so. In fact, the opposite is the case. We know that there are some parts of Alaska from which, if the day is clear and your eyesight is good, you can actually see Russia. But the infantile repetition of this bit of trivia as some kind of foreign policy bona fide for a vice presidential candidate should give us pause.

The McCain campaign has done its bizarre best to shield Ms. Palin from any sustained media examination of her readiness for the highest offices in the land, and no wonder. She has been an embarrassment in interviews. But the idea that the voters of the United States might install someone in the vice president’s office who is too unprepared or too intellectually insecure to appear on, say, “Meet the Press” or “Face the Nation” is mind-boggling. The alarm bells should be clanging and warning lights flashing. You wouldn’t put an unqualified pilot in the cockpit of a jetliner. The potential for catastrophe is far, far greater with an unqualified president. The United States has been lucky in terms of the qualifications of the vice presidents who have had to step in over the last several decades for presidents who either died or, in Richard Nixon’s case, were forced to leave office. Harry Truman and Lyndon Johnson became extraordinary presidents in their own right. Gerald Ford successfully guided the nation through the immediate aftermath of one of the most traumatic political crises in its history.

For those who think Sarah Palin is in that league, there is no problem. But her unscripted public appearances would lead most honest observers to think otherwise. When asked again this week about her puerile linkage of foreign policy proficiency and Alaska’s proximity to Russia, this time by Katie Couric of CBS News, here is what Ms. Palin said she meant: “That Alaska has a very narrow maritime border between a foreign country, Russia, and on our other side, the land — boundary that we have with — Canada.” She went on, but lost her way midsentence: “It’s funny that a comment like that was kind of made to — cari — I don’t know, you know? Reporters ...” Ms. Couric said, “Mocked?” “Yeah, mocked,” said Ms. Palin. “I guess that’s the word. Yeah.” It is not just painful, but frightening to watch someone who could become the vice president of the United States stumbling around like this in an interview. Ms. Couric asked Ms. Palin to explain how Alaska’s proximity to Russia “enhances your foreign policy credentials.” “Well, it certainly does,” Ms. Palin replied, “because our, our next-door neighbors are foreign countries, there in the state that I am the executive of. And there—” Palin is a bad joke we can't let happen!

* Even my wife who hates politics and I piss off at least once a day discussing this mess before she yells at me to shut up is stupefied by the stupidity and unqualification of Palin to be representing us. It is an insult to see her defended as being qualified to represent us and run the country if need be! There is no way in hell. What a friggen nightmare! Once again our attention is being turned away from the growing crisis of World War three created by Bush by another crisis created by Bush!

Once again our attention is being turned away from the growing crisis of World War three created by Bush by another crisis created by Bush and in this case it is the bankrupting of America! I was happy to hear this morning that the white house talks last night erupted and broke doen because of the concervatives in the Republican party as McCain injected Presidential politics in this made a mess of his campaign as McCain rode in to save the day and created a total mess Russia has had enough and as we have been saying for quite a while and is arming and rallying the world behind them to take Bush on!
Ron Paul is right Rice and Bush are instigating "cold" war with Russia!

You may know that on the 3rd Russia gave the US 21 days to leave the Black sea or they would sink every ship there. They are also arming the world to take on Bush and threaten if the US or Israel attack Iran they will come to their aid! This is not good an undeniable.

I hope you watched that video as this is really ramping up while our attention is on the crisis Bush created right here. Meanwhile the world is showing their unity with Ahmadinejad who as you know says the end of the US is near. And here An event organized by several religious groups to honor Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in New York Thursday has drawn ire from the Catholic League and several Jewish organizations, UPI reported. Religious groups celebrate Ahmadinejad

Meanwhile Russia offered Venezuela $1 billion in credit to buy weapons as Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez visits to develop military ties amid worsening relations between both nations and the U.S. Russia agreed to ``issue a $1 billion credit line to Venezuela for the realization of military-technical cooperation programs,'' the Kremlin said in an e-mailed statement, using a term that Russian authorities employ to describe defense sales. His visit comes as Russian warships sail to the Caribbean Sea for joint exercises with the Venezuelan navy, and shortly after two Russian Tupolev-160 strategic bombers returned to Russia from a brief training visit to the South American nation. Russian relations with the U.S. have soured over Russia's war with U.S. ally Georgia last month. Venezuela is leading a drive to push back historic U.S. influence in Latin America.

Venezuela spent $4.4 billion on 12 contracts for Russian weapons from 2005-2007, the Kremlin said. These include deals to buy 100,000 Kalashnikov rifles, 50 military helicopters and 24 Su- 30 jet fighters, according to a U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency report. Weapons Sales Russia is now in talks to sell air defense systems, armored personnel carriers and new-generation Su-35 fighter jets due to start production in 2010, the Kommersant newspaper reported on Sept. 18, citing state industrial holding company Russian Technologies chief Sergei Chemezov. Venezuela's insistence on getting credit toward buying these weapons, as well as Russian diesel submarines that it is seeking, had been holding up the negotiations, Kommersant said.

Venezuela's defense budget has more than tripled since 2000 to 7.12 billion bolivars ($3.3 billion) in 2008, according to the National Budget Office. Chavez's biggest purchases came in 2006. In that year alone, he signed deals for $3.1 billion in weapons. Russia agreed to establish a factory in Venezuela for the production of both AK-103 assault rifles and 7.62mm ammunition for more than $500 million, according to a report by the U.S. Congressional Research Service. Chavez, who last visited Russia in July, has called the country the guarantor of a ``multipolar world.'' Earlier this month he expelled the U.S. ambassador to Caracas as Venezuelan-U.S. relations worsened. Russia the guarantor of a ``multipolar world

Preceding this was a visit to China! Venezuela expects a first shipment of Chinese military training planes to arrive next year, but the purchase is only a tiny part of a relationship based on finance and energy, President Hugo Chavez said on Thursday. The staunch leftist said he was pushed into the deal for 24 K-8 craft because Venezuela's ideological foe, the United States, had refused to sell him spare parts for old American planes and so pilots risked their lives when training. He lambasted journalists for focusing too much on military ties between socialist nations he said were simply looking to share their assets to bolster growth. 'I notice that every time I come here some international media try to minimize aspects such as commerce,' he said.

'(The military deal) for us is not the most important thing. What are important are finance and energy.' Military links have been in focus because ties with the United States are particularly stormy, and Chavez's next stop on a whirlwind global tour will be Moscow where he is likely to discuss joint maneuvers planned for November. Chavez used his fifth visit to China to cement ties with the world's number two oil consumer, as he looks to reduce a traditional reliance on energy markets in the United States. The two countries signed a slew of deals to boost oil sales, build a new refinery and tanker fleet, and expand by $6 billion a joint investment fund. Chavez in China making military and oil deals

* It makes sense that MSM would hype the military aspect of deals between Chavez, Russia, and China, as they are complicit with our war monger party and you know, because of Bush's war mongering and instigation to goad the world to war is uniting the world behind Russia and against us. There is no surprise here as the crisis Bush created right here is keeping attention away from the crisis that promises to come to a head this fall enabling Bush to declare martial order as I outline often and quite succinctly yesterday I will also attempt to follow events at the White House and the Debates between Obama and McCain!

Is Paulson to be trusted the Guy Bush wants to be sole Decider of $700 Billion Now? We are in a financial war with Russia we won't win this time too!

You have to be kidding me does that look like a trio you can trust?

Remember just one year ago Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson attempted to soothe jittery investors, insisting the United States will safely get through a spreading credit crisis that has unhinged Wall Street. "We are going to work through this problem just fine," Paulson said. He urged patience as investors reassess their appetite for risk, saying there isn't a "quick solution" to the matter. "These things take a while to play out," the secretary said.

Paulson stressed in an interview on CNBC that the economy remains in fundamentally good shape and suggested that it should be should be able to weather the financial storm. Before taking over the Treasury helm Paulson was a top executive at Goldman Sachs. Paulson said he has "great confidence" in the Fed. You know there is no way in hell I share his trust in the Fed! I was doing research on the guy and opted to leave it alone because he is part of the problem. There was so much screwed up information on this guy I decided not knowing it was true or not to leave it alone. Knowing Bush?

Sunday I was sent this story! The market was 500 trades away from Armageddon on Thursday, traders inside two large custodial banks tell the Post. Had the Treasury and Fed not quickly stepped into the fray that morning with a quick $105 billion injection of liquidity, the Dow could have collapsed to the 8,300-level -- a 22 percent decline! -- while the clang of the opening bell was still echoing around the cavernous exchange floor. According to traders who spoke on the condition of anonymity, money market funds were inundated with $500 billion in sell orders prior to the opening. The total money-market capitalization was roughly $4 trillion that morning. The panicked selling was directly linked to the seizing up of the credit markets -- including a $52 billion constriction in commercial paper -- and the rumors of additional money market funds "breaking the buck," or dropping below $1 net asset value.

The Fed's dramatic $105 billion liquidity injection on Thursday (pre-market) was just enough to keep key institutional accounts from following through on the sell orders and starting a stampede of cash that could have brought large tracts of the US economy to a halt. While many depositors treat money market accounts as fancy savings accounts, they are different. Banks buy a variety of short-term debt, including commercial paper, with the assets. It is an important distinction because banks use the $1.7 trillion commercial-paper market to fund their credit-card operations and car finance companies use it to move autos. Without commercial paper, "factories would have to shut down, people would lose their jobs and there would be an effect on the real economy," Paul Schott Stevens, of the Investment Company Institute, told the Wall Street Journal. Cracks started to show in money market accounts late Tuesday when shares in one fund, the Reserve Primary Fund -- which touted itself as super-safe -- fell below the golden $1 a share level. It had purchased what it thought was safe Lehman bonds, never dreaming they could default -- which they did 24 hours earlier when the 158-year-old investment bank filed Chapter 11.

By Wednesday, banks sensed a run on their accounts. They started stockpiling cash in anticipation of withdrawals. Banks, which usually keep an average of $2 billion in excess reserves earmarked for withdrawals, pumped that up to an astounding $90 billion by Wednesday, Lou Crandall, chief economist at Wrighton ICAP, told the Journal. And for good reason. By the close of business on Wednesday, $144.5 billion -- a record -- had been withdrawn. How much money was taken out of money market funds the prior week? Roughly $7.1 billion, according to AMG Data Services. By Thursday, that level, fed by the incredible volume of sell orders pouring in from institutional investors like pension funds and sovereign funds, had grown to $100 billion. It was still not enough to stem the tidal wave. The banks knew something drastic had to be done. So did Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson.

The injection of capital into the market was followed up by calls from Paulson to major money market players like Bank of New York Mellon and State Street in Boston informing them that federal money was in the market and they should tell their clients the Feds would be back with a plan to stem the constriction in the credit market. Paulson knew the $105 billion injection was not a real solution. A broader, more radical answer was needed. Hours after Paulson made his round of calls to calm the industry, word leaked out that an added $1 trillion bailout of banks was being readied. Investors cheered. At about 3 p.m., news of the plans was filtering up and down Wall Street, fueling a 700-point advance in the Dow Jones industrial average through 4 p.m. Friday. By that time, Paulson had announced the plan. It included insurance on money market accounts, a move that started in quiet Thursday morning, when the former Goldman Sachs executive saved the country from a paralyzing meltdown. 500 trades from Armageddon

Now Bush warns the world is watching and he demands immediate action

No way in hell do I trust the fool Bush! He wants action before those executives can be stayed or homeowners and taxpayers can be helped! Meanwhile Bush is damaging Obama: Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama says he probably would have to delay the spending programs he has called for during his campaign in light of the massive government bailout being proposed for the nation's financial industry. Obama: Bailout likely to delay spending programs

Things are pretty Dire but to make it worse I hear this about an Economic War with Russia: As Russia’s stock market went into free fall this week, conspiracy theories circulated that Washington was egging on American financiers to punish Moscow for its incursion into Georgia last month. The theories gained enough credence that Russia’s finance minister, Alexei Kudrin, spoke with U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson late Wednesday and sought assurances that the U.S. wasn’t playing politics with Russia in the financial crisis, the Russian Finance Ministry said. Mr. Paulson told Mr. Kudrin that the U.S. wasn’t, according to the Russian side. A U.S. account of the call wasn’t available.

… In recent weeks, Mr. Medvedev has blamed the crisis primarily on the U.S., which has been the target of Kremlin wrath on all fronts since the U.S. sharply criticized Russia’s war in Georgia. A top State Department official, meanwhile, this week cited the financial problems as the “price” Moscow was paying for the war. On Thursday, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said Moscow’s moves in Georgia and elsewhere “are putting Russia on a one-way path to self-imposed isolation and international irrelevance.” The question broached by Mr. Kudrin in his phone call with Mr. Paulson reflects a view widely held in the opaque world of the Moscow elite. Russian officials have asked U.S. bankers in recent weeks if the banks have been ordered by U.S. officials not to lend to Russian companies, according to people familiar with the conversations. The banks deny any such order. “There’s a feeling of hostility,” said one person who works closely with the Russian government. “The biggest problem is that they don’t understand that the problem is home-made.” Rumors of financial war with Russia

As you know we won the last cold war while we were financially equitable. After what Bush has done to our country there is no way in hell we are going to win this one and I can only wait with anxiety to see what catastrophe Bush is going to create to mask this mess and get this war going. Economic woes favor Obama. War woes favor McCaidn. To keep the right in power I chill thinking what is going to happen next. Thoughts anyone?

I wanted to discuss America the Fascist police State and the Bankruptcy of America but I had to go back to the instigation to war with Russia!

I wanted to discuss that These are not Conservatives we are dealing with as you know. They have hijacked the Conservative party. They are using the facade of conservatives and perverted Religion in this facade of a Democracy so they can clandestinely emplace their new Fascist society and bankrupting America is part of it. They are almost done and McPaling is scheduled to continue it after Bush. Okay I will shut up!

I wanted to discuss the video about Reporter Amy Goodman getting beat up by Fascist police. I have watched that before but just watched it again as it is very sobering. I know some think I am crazy but this sadly is a small example of the new Fascist America replacing our Democracy! You see so many examples and every day. It blows me away that there are many who do not believe it and I firmly believe that is because they are benefiting from it. In response to Paulson, he should be jailed for creating this problem and now ah you know, the purposeful Bankrupting of America! Anyway: It really sucks but I have been saying it for years now but the Russian Doctrine of Destruction that Bush is following dictates that you must create disorder so you can then replace it with your version of new order. That is what Bush is doing to our societal order and what he is doing to the world.
The same is being done to our financial system in the Bankrupting of Our America! You know how I feel so I will just shut up! Damn, Damn, Damn,

Damn! You think about that while we discuss once more the instigation to war with Russia as Ron Paul is right Rice and Bush are instigating "cold" war with Russia!

I am really bothered by the blatant hypocrisy of Bushco as everything they are doing to us, here and around the world is all about oil and control! Anyway as you know we hear Russia's policies are putting it on a path to isolation and irrelevance, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said Thursday. Rice also said that Moscow's other behavior, including using oil and gas as a weapon, threatening countries with nuclear attack, selling arms to rogue states and political persecution of journalists and dissidents, paints a picture of "a Russia increasingly authoritarian at home and aggressive abroad." WTF?

The United States and Europe will stand up to Russia and not allow it to bully or threaten its neighbors, she said. While the international community has pledged to help rebuild Georgia and provide massive international aid, Rice said Russia has precious little international support. Warning about the consequences of Russia's actions, Rice said the United States has more options than during the Cold War "when U.S. foreign policy was hostage" to the standoff with the Soviet Union. While Bush bankrupts America and our markets are falling apart thanks to Bush he has the temerity to warn Russia: As Russian economic markets continue to take a tumble, Rice warned, Russia needs to be part of the world political and economic community to realize the forward-looking vision laid out by President Dmitry Medvedev when he took office.

If Russia ever wants to be more than just an energy supplier, its leaders have to recognize a hard truth: Russia depends on the world for its success, and it cannot change that," she said. She also took a jab at Russia's recent overtures to Cuba and bomber exercises with Venezuela. The U.S. agenda to help democracies in the Western Hemisphere prosper "will in no way be diminished by a few, aging Blackjack bombers, visiting one of Latin America's few autocracies, which are themselves being left behind by an increasingly peaceful, prosperous and democratic hemisphere." At a CNN panel discussion Tuesday, former Secretaries of State Henry Kissinger, Colin Powell and James Baker warned the Bush administration against rupturing its relationship with Russia over the Georgia conflict, saying that the United States needed Moscow's cooperation on major national security issues. Rice: Russia becoming isolated, irrelevant

Russia's response: President Dmitry Medvedev said Friday that Russia would not yield to Western pressure or be pushed into isolation over the war in Georgia. Medvedev dismissed a claim that Russia was sliding back to authoritarianism. "They are, in fact, pushing us onto the development track that is based not on normal and civilized cooperation with other countries, but on autonomous development behind thick walls and an 'iron curtain,"' Medvedev said at a meeting with non-governmental organizations. "This is not our track, and it makes no sense to return to the past." In addition, he vowed that Russia would set its own course.

"No new outside factors, let alone outside pressure on Russia, will change our strategic course," Medvedev said. "We will continuously strengthen our national security, modernize the military and increase our defense capability to a sufficient level," he said. "And we will determine what level is sufficient proceeding from the current situation; it can't be measured once and for all." Medvedev reaffirmed his push for a new pan-European security pact, saying NATO alone can't ensure security on the continent. "It only has provoked the conflict," he said, in a reference to the war in Georgia. Medvedev: Russia won't be pushed into isolation

! You know, this analyst knows Bush's true goal with purposely allowing our financial and infrastructure collapse and his instigation to war with Russia and his instigation of war with Pakistan is not to close out his Presidency but to create enough chaos to allow him to declare martial Law take control of us and prosecute this new order agenda! Remember Executive order #51 giving Bush total Dictatorial control! This election will be stolen for McPalin or Bush has till January 20th to implement Executive order #51!

* Executive order #51 is a horrible tool in the hands of Bush or McCain!!

As officials are bracing for election woes I am very concerned as I firmly expect this one to be stolen too despite millions of votes already cast!

Election Day will be something of an afterthought for tens of millions of Americans — they'll be voting well ahead of time. In fact, six weeks out from Election Day, some voters in Kentucky, South Carolina and Virginia already are done. Nationwide, about a third of the electorate is expected to vote early this year, thanks to expanded early voting provisions and fewer restrictions on absentee voting, researchers project. In all, more than 30 states allow any registered voter to cast an early ballot, some in person and others by mail. Greg Dearing, of Louisville, Ky., locked in his ballot for Barack Obama on Thursday. "I'm usually a straight party voter," said Dearing, who will be vacationing in California on Nov. 4. "It would take something very far-fetched to make me regret my vote."

Early voting has been on the increase in recent years: In 2004, 22 percent of voters cast an early presidential ballot; in 2000, 16 percent voted early. It's a trend that is fundamentally changing the home stretch of American political campaigns. October surprises? They'd better come in September if campaigns want to influence every vote. Get out the vote operations? They're already under way in some states. Even the presidential debate series, which begins Friday and runs through Oct. 15, will come after many have voted. However, experts say the earliest voters tend to be party loyalists who wouldn't be swayed by debate performances anyway. Across the nation, election officials are reporting high demand for absentee ballots. Ballots already are available in a few states, and they will be ready in about 20 more this week. By the first week of October, absentee voting will have started in all but a handful of states. In most states, all registered voters will be eligible to vote absentee, and a growing number will take advantage.

None of the early votes will be counted until Election Day, and in some states it could take days or weeks to count all absentee ballots. But in most states, the campaigns will be able to determine well ahead of Nov. 4 who's voted early. Want the campaigns to stop bombarding you with fliers and phone calls? Vote early. "That's one less person we need to put a get-out-the-vote call to and one less person we need to send a mailer to," said Nathan Treloar, communications director for the Iowa Republican Party. Oregon is 100 percent vote by mail, and Washington state is getting close. Early voting in Colorado, Nevada, Tennessee and Arizona could top 40 percent or even 50 percent of total votes cast. Absentee voting starts in early October in Minnesota, and thousands already have requested ballots, including a few snowbirds who stopped by the Edina city clerk's office on their way out of town. Early voting is relatively new in hotly contested Ohio. A third of electorate may vote b4 election day!

I won't but every early vote is one more we do not have to worry about being stolen! Despite our many efforts to get rid of all the machines many are still around and I am concerned this election will be the worst yet! Faced with a surge in voter registrations leading up to Nov. 4, election officials across the country are bracing for long lines, equipment failures and confusion over polling procedures that could cost thousands the chance to cast a ballot.
The crush of voters will strain a system already in the midst of transformation, with jurisdictions introducing new machines and rules to avoid the catastrophe of the deadlocked 2000 election and the lingering controversy over the 2004 outcome. Even within the past few months, cities and counties have revamped their processes: Nine million voters, including many in the battleground states of Ohio, Florida and Colorado, will use equipment that has changed since March.

But the widespread changes meant to reassure the public have also increased the potential for trouble. "You change systems and throw in lots of new voters, and you can plan to be up the proverbial creek," said Kimball Brace, president of Election Data Services, a consulting firm that has tracked the voting changes. Both campaigns have lined up teams of lawyers to challenge any irregularities, from registrations to polling place problems to vote counts. And experts say the problems ahead will be formidable, even if they don't rise to the level of the Supreme Court challenge over the 2000 results. "The voting process is going to be tested in a way it has not been in recent history," said Tova Wang, vice president for research at Common Cause, a government watchdog group. Recent local primaries have offered warning signs.

In the District last week, initial tallies were inflated by thousands of votes, causing chaos that night, and officials have yet to explain the problem. In Palm Beach County, Fla., more than 3,500 ballots went missing in an August primary, forcing workers to hunt through bins and leaving a judicial election still undecided. That same day, equipment problems in two other Florida jurisdictions delayed results for hours. Premier Election Solutions, the company that makes many of the nation's voting machines, last month acknowledged that software used in 34 states, including Virginia and Maryland, could cause votes to be dropped. The company, formerly called Diebold, said it has no fix for the problem now, but election officials can catch the errors and recover the votes through a routine process of double-checking electronic memory cards. Any weak spots in the process in November, whether poorly trained poll workers, a confusing ballot design or faulty equipment, will be further stressed by turnout, including many first-time voters. Officials brace for unprecedented mess

Personally I am stunned not that the machines are still around but that we let them get away with keeping them. They are solely designed to steal elections! I expect a host of distasteful scenarios to occur this fall. The right will not stop this agenda no. It is too far along and the abusive power gained can not be allowed in Dem hands! Well now we are hearing increasingly that the election is too close to call. White House says the election too close to call That means a third stolen election! What will they do this time?

As you know, we have been living a lie for almost 8 years now! Rove, Bush, Cheney, Ashcroft, Gonzo, Mukasey, Rummy, 9/11, the phony commission hearings, the Government's Anthrax attacks on Democrats and average Americans so Bush could get his abusive power from the Patriot Act so he could subvert our America and the world. Letting our infrastructure fail, manufacturing our financial collapse, etc, etc, etc, we are living a lie and it is coming to a head. What are they going to do this fall? How are they going to steal this one to keep this Fascist agenda going?

I am happy to say palin's star is waning as the truth as to her lying and inadequacy is catching up to her!

Internal Government Document Contradicts Sarah Palin, Campaign. An internal government document obtained by ABC News appears to contradict Sarah Palin's most recent explanation for why she fired her public safety chief, the move which prompted the now-contested state probe into "Troopergate." Fighting back against allegations she may have fired her then-Public Safety Commissioner, Walt Monegan, for refusing to go along with a personal vendetta, Palin on Monday argued in a legal filing that she fired Monegan because he had a "rogue mentality" and was bucking her administration's directives.

"The last straw," her lawyer argued, came when he planned a trip to Washington, D.C., to seek federal funds for an aggressive anti-sexual-violence program. The project, expected to cost from $10 million to $20 million a year for five years, would have been the first of its kind in Alaska, which leads the nation in reported forcible rape. It is beyond me why a woman especially could be against helping those suffering from sexual violence?

The McCain-Palin campaign echoed the charge in a press release it distributed Monday, concurrent with Palin's legal filing. "Mr. Monegan persisted in planning to make the unauthorized lobbying trip to D.C.," the release stated. But the governor's staff authorized the trip, according to an internal travel document from the Department of Public Safety, released Friday in response to an open records request. The document, a state travel authorization form, shows that Palin's chief of staff, Mike Nizich, approved Monegan's trip to Washington, D.C., "to attend meeting with Senator Murkowski." The date next to Nizich's signature reads June 18. You can read the rest of the BS!

Then Sarah Palin on Friday accused “Democrat partisans” of pressuring the organizers of an anti-Iran rally to block her from attending the event in New York next week. Palin had planned to speak at the Monday rally, but the organizers said Thursday that no elected officials would be allowed to attend. The announcement came after Hillary Clinton pulled out of the event, having discovered that Palin would also be attending. “I was scheduled to appear at a rally with Senator Clinton whose commitment to this I appreciate. This is a critical issue and it should be an issue that unites all Americans,” Palin told supporters Friday in Blaine, Minn. “Unfortunately, though, some Democrat partisans put politics first, and now no elected official will be able to appear at that Stop Iran Rally.”

The rally, organized by major Jewish organizations and sponsored by the National Coalition to Stop Iran Now, is designed to protest Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s presence at the United Nations. Organizers said they weren’t being partisan, and that they decided to bar all elected and federal officials from the rally to avoid a “media feeding frenzy.” John McCain issued a statement Thursday blaming both “Democratic partisans” and Barack Obama for pressuring the groups to rescind Palin’s invitation. An Obama spokesman dismissed that suggestion. On Friday, Palin blamed only “Democrat partisans,” though it was unclear to whom she was referring. She said Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons should not be a matter of “partisan politics.” Palin blames Democrats for what her "friends" did!

* Palin said it should not be partisan and the Jewish organization cancelled her because they agree so why is she purposely making it Partisan? Create a problem where there is none for your own gain. Situation normal nothing has changed from Bush! Anyway another nail that I like the most! Rep. Charles Rangel, D-N.Y., already in trouble for tax problems, called Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin “disabled” on Friday, and then quickly retreated and said he misspoke saying he meant “disadvantaged.” Republicans called it a new low for the 78-year-old chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee.

Asked during an interview with New York’s WCBS-2 television why Democrats seem afraid of Pailin’s popularity, Rangel replied: “You got to be kind to the disabled.” The reporter repeated the phrase. “Yes,” replied Rangel and then added, “There’s no question about it. Politically it’s a nightmare to think that a person’s foreign policy is based on their ability to look at Russia from where they live.” Soon after the interview aired, Rangel in a statement said that he meant to say “disadvantaged.” “Governor Palin is an obviously healthy person who in no way fits the description of disabled. I meant to say then, and I am saying now, that she entered the campaign with a disadvantage in the area of foreign policy,” said Rangel. She is disadvantaged!

I firmly believe the facts are catching up to Palin and McCain! There is no way in hell that Neanderthal is qualified to be in the White House! There is a veritable laundry list of disqualifications. If the shoe was on the other foot and she was a Democrat they would have chewed he up and spit her out a long time ago. What the hell is wrong with Democrats!

Yes Misery Loves company and yes you may agree this is a Yee Ha Day!

Yee ha New Minneapolis bridge opens, 13 months after collapse

The new Interstate 35W bridge is open in Minneapolis, a little more than a year after the last one collapsed into the Mississippi River. A procession of vehicles led by state troopers, emergency vehicles and state highway trucks led motorists across the bridge in both directions shortly after 5 a.m. Thursday. Traffic was heavy as a mix of cars, motorcycles, trucks and buses started streaming across the bridge. Vehicles moved slowly at first, but then picked up speed. Many vehicles honked their horns as they drove across and a few motorists waved American flags. The old bridge collapsed on August 1, 2007, killing 13 people and injuring 145.
The new bridge contains hundreds of sensors that will collect a stream of data. The purpose of the "smart bridge" technology isn't to warn of another impending disaster; it's to detect small problems before they become big ones, said Alan Phipps, design manager for the project with Figg Engineering Group Inc. of Tallahassee, Florida.

"What these sensors are for, it's like going to your doctor for your health checkup," Phipps said. "It's to ensure you're maintained in top shape so you never get close to having a serious problem." The $234 million bridge was completed on budget and more than three months ahead of the December 24 deadline. That means the contractors -- led by the team of Flatiron Construction Corp. of Longmont, Colorado, and Manson Construction Co. of Seattle, Washington -- should get a bonus close to the contract maximum of $27 million, though the actual amount hasn't been determined. There also are more visible differences between the new bridge and old. The new bridge is concrete instead of steel and is built with redundant systems so that if one part fails, it won't collapse. The old bridge, finished in 1967, was called "fracture critical," which meant that a failure of any number of structural elements would bring down the entire bridge.

Within the concrete of the new bridge are embedded 323 sensors that will generate a record of how it handles the stresses and strains of traffic and Minnesota's harsh climate. The data will help engineers maintain the bridge and advance the art of bridge design, Phipps said. The sensors will measure how the bridge handles loads and vibrations and how it expands and contracts as Minnesota alternates between frigid winters and steamy summers. It will also watch for corrosion from road salt. See iReporter's photos of the bridge's inauguration

A system of sensors and cameras will feed data on traffic flow -- including speeds, accidents, stalls and other disruptions -- to a management center. Other sensors will activate an anti-icing system when necessary, and security sensors are meant to detect intruders in unauthorized areas, such as the hollow concrete box girders. The data will feed into computers in a control room near the bridge, Phipps said. From there, engineers at the Minnesota Department of Transportation and researchers at the University of Minnesota can download it for analysis. Catherine French, a civil engineering professor at the University of Minnesota, has worked with the developers of the system and will be among the researchers analyzing the data. The number of sensors on the bridge, and the fact that they were installed from the start, make this project stand out, she said.

"It is kind of on the cutting edge," French said. The main value will be the insight the system provides for building future bridges. Engineers will be able to compare the bridge's behavior to models they've developed, she said. The National Transportation Safety Board has scheduled a hearing in November to discuss its investigation into what caused the old bridge to collapse. In January, NTSB Chairman Mark Rosenker pointed to a design error in the plates that helped connect the bridge's steel beams as a "critical factor."The NTSB has also focused on the weight of construction materials that were on the bridge for a resurfacing project. Yee Ha Check out the SNL Fey Skit on Palin. Awesome isn't it?

Chevy Chase said Monday he wants Tina Fey to go "even harder" on Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin than she did in her "Saturday Night Live" skit this past weekend ... and that he wants Fey to "decimate" her. "I thought it was extraordinary how well she played her and much she looked like her. I'd just like her — personally I felt we didn't need the Hillary stuff — I'd like her to go even harder," the former "SNL" star told MSNBC's "Morning Joe" show. "I want her to decimate this woman. This woman is, I can't believe there hasn't been more about it. ... It's just unbelievable to me this woman is actually running for vice president," he continued. Chevy Chase rightly wants Palin Decimated!

Misery loves company! Russia ordered its main stock exchanges closed for another day Thursday as President Dmitry Medvedev called for pouring 500 billion rubles ($20 billion) into financial markets in an effort to stabilize them. The government is struggling to stem a dizzying plummet in share prices and restore confidence in the economy — a plummet that has revived memories of the 1998 financial collapse. "We have sufficient reserves and a strong economy, which guarantees the avoidance of any shocks," Medvedev said in televised comments.
"There is no more important task for Russian authorities than stability of our financial system under the current circumstances. This is our top priority," Medvedev said. "The market should be given all the necessary support." To that end, the government will pump in 500 billion rubles into the financial sector from the state budget, he said. The MICEX exchange, where the bulk of trading in Russian stocks takes place, is now at its lowest level in nearly three years in the wake of sliding oil prices and turmoil on Wall Street. Russia ordered its main stock exchanges closed for another day Thursday as President Dmitry Medvedev called for pouring 500 billion rubles ($20 billion) into financial markets in an effort to stabilize them. Russia Orders Markets Closed Until Friday After Big Drops

Well I guess that is one good thing about our financial woes! More Yee Ha for Democrats: What's up with this? Rove says McCain went too far in Ads!

Bush's strong economy now has the Goldilocks syndrome. It is now just strong enough!

And as you know, the guilty Guerrilla from Wasilla whose guilty hubby was subpoenaed Palin will no longer cooperate!

* First I will never understand how you can chose to cooperate or no? If that was you or I we would be instantly in jail but I am happy to say that Pollsters and the right are forgetting about Obama's ace in the hoe the millions of young voters he has gotten out. They only have cells and are therefore never polled. I think that will prove to be the game changer in the attempted theft of this election I absolutely expect. That and the tide seems to be turning against the childish lying idiots on the right YEE HA!

Doublespeak again I can't stand it! No matter what happens they can say they expected it look at the videos and frightening facts that will get worse!

I just don't get it? How the hell can Hezbollah Or Hamas be more of a danger than so called Al Qaeda or any of the other so called Islamists?

Top U.S. counterterrorism officials Monday said Al Qaeda is "imploding" and that its violent tactics have turned Muslims worldwide against the organization."Absolutely it's imploding. It's imploding because it's not a message that resonates with a lot of Muslims," said Dell Dailey, the State Department's coordinator for counterterrorism.Al Qaeda still remains the most dangerous threat to the United States. But of growing concern are organizations like Lebanese Hezbollah and Hamas, which combine social services, local governance, national politics with extremist attacks, said Undersecretary of State James Glassman.

"These are models that have a lot more popular appeal than Al Qaeda, that has almost no popular appeal," he said. Vastly more Muslims than Westerners are killed by Al Qaeda car and suicide bombs, particularly in Iraq where local tribes have largely turned against Al Qaeda in Iraq in the last two years. Extremist violence claimed more than 9,500 civilian victims in Muslim countries in 2007. U.S. intelligence agencies caution against predicting Al Qaeda's demise too soon, noting its Pakistan safe harbor and the persistent efforts of its affiliates to conduct attacks in North Africa and elsewhere.

Then they go on to say Despite these apparent fissures, Al Qaeda is the most potent threat to the United States, according to U.S. intelligence officials and reports. A national intelligence assessment released last year said Al Qaeda had regenerated its leadership and ability to conduct attacks in the ungoverned tribal region of western Pakistan. Afghanistan has grown increasingly violent because of the close ties and collaboration between the Pakistan tribes, the Taliban and the terrorist organization. Al Qaeda continues to attract new fighters to fight U.S. forces in Afghanistan, and radical Internet sites that provide religious justification for attacks and violent anti-Western rhetoric are spreading. Al Qaeda unpopular and imploding, what?

Doublespeak again I can't stand it! No matter what happens they can say they expected it look at the videos and frightening facts that will get worse! First a question:

Will Iraq be able to survive US withdrawal? No way in hell but we better leave. The entire middle east and the world will blow anyway thanks to Bush!

Good thing they are weakened and imploding:

Bombing and gunfire at US Embassy in Yemen 10 guards dead by Jihadists!

Meanwhile as you know Pakistan orders Americans shot on sight!

They have also closed the Border with Pakistan and are not allowing resupply convoys into Afghanistan because of Americans going into Pakistan to kill insurgents and so called Taliban! Meanwhile you know 10,000 additional troops are said to be needed and look at the hornets nest they will all be in and the supply routes blocked!

Afghani reaction to the surge in Afghanistan, they really hate us!

You know, I don't get it! Taliban, Sunni, Shiite, Al Qaeda, what the hell does it matter? As I have been saying for years like it or not this will be a war against all of Islam. This is a Religious war as you know. They are the longest and the dirtiest. With perverted Religiosity on both sides of this, this will be the longest and the dirtiest the world has ever seen and our collapse occuring at the perfect time for the right to take over one way or the other!

US traded Iraqi oil for China's cooperation with Russia! It is paying off! Will China ultimately side with us when war instigated by Bush breaks out

Three weeks ago we talked about the US trading Iraqi oil for China's cooperation with Russia! Let me remind you that Iraq and China signed a $3 billion deal this week to develop a large Iraqi oil field, the first major commercial oil contract here with a foreign company since the 2003 U.S.-led invasion. The 20-year agreement calls for the state-owned China National Petroleum Corp. to begin producing 25,000 barrels of oil a day and gradually increase the output to 125,000 a day, said Asim Jihad, a spokesman for the Iraqi Oil Ministry.

The contract revamps a deal the Chinese company had reached with Saddam Hussein in 1997 to develop the Ahdab oil field in Wasit province, south of Baghdad near the border with Iran. Unlike that deal, which called for China to share in the revenue, the current contract is based on a fixed-fee structure. estern oil companies came close this summer to reaching agreements with the ministry to return to Iraq. Those smaller technical service contracts involved giving advice on how to boost production. The China deal is a service contract, which is more lucrative and involves large-scale development of the field.

Jihad said Iraqi officials hope the deal with China "will refute all the rumors that say the American companies are the only ones benefiting from the American occupation." The contract also requires China to build a major electrical station in the area to help boost Iraq's overworked power grid. Iraq and China Sign $3 Billion Oil Contract

Today we hear that Russia's military success against Georgia is having repercussions that Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and his stand-in president, Dmitri Medvedev, surely do not welcome. Simply put, Putin has alienated China and other countries that share his interest in countering U.S. power. The Asian Development Bank, in which China plays a leading role, has extended a $40 million loan at the lowest possible rate to Georgia. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization - which includes China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan as well as Russia - refused to countenance Russia's recognition of two breakaway regions of Georgia. The rebuff of Putin is all the more striking because - at least from Putin's perspective - the central purpose of this group was to form an eastern counterweight to NATO.

China and the Central Asian states may share the Kremlin's resentment of American dominance in the world, but they are not so eager to construct a multipolar world that they will act against their national interests. Beijing has marshaled enormous resources to keep other countries from recognizing Taiwan as an independent country. China's entire propaganda campaign against the Dalai Lama is based on the false claim that he wants to split Tibet off from China. The Chinese leadership has also fiercely repressed any sign of separatism among the Muslim population in the north-western region of Xinjiang. China, in short, opposes all outside interference within its borders and extends the same privilege to other governments, however odious. Asian so called displeasure at Russia

* I personally believe their decision to help Georgia is not due to exttending the same privelage it expects but to arm twisting and buy their cooperation with oil! What the hell does all that tell you? I am happy to say that yes China's alliance may be bought but I now believe they will ally with us as I keep asserting and go against Russia in this just developing Forever war to shape the worlds future. I reiterate * With Both sides so firmly entrenched in redrawing the map in Europe thanks to Bush imposing his will for oil. This is just another small piece in the Forever War Bush has guaranteed for our future. You see what he has done in the middle east for oil causing division and Russia and the US both arming them to the teeth to fight this Bush created future mess and it is coming to a head rapidly and at the perfect time for Bush to take total control of our facade of Democracy to prosecute the lie we are living!

Too many excuses for Bush to Declare Martial all of them brought on by him. Martial Law is coming! How long will it take for people to activate?

Remember Executive order #51 giving Bush total Dictatorial control!

With our rapidly failing infrastructure in this case Financial and the growing threat of major world war all instigated by Bush You better believe Martial Law is coming! Bush, Rice, and Cheney are doing their damnedest to instigate Russia to war but it looks increasingly like Pakistan may get involved first!

You know I keep saying with 5 carriers and Battle Groups in the Gulf they are available to go after Iran and Pakistan without a big troop increase but things are developing rapidly to make that a reality while our attention is diverted with this facade of an election, Hurricane Ike, and the rapidly developing financial collapse engineered under Greenspan!

Pakistan is devoluting to war with us and worse rapidly! The furor intensified Friday over Washington's decision to pursue Islamic militant targets inside Pakistan, with opposition lawmakers threatening the country could pull out of the war on terror if the U.S. refuses to respect its borders. About 100 protesters burned American flags after the latest missile attack left at least 12 people dead in the North Waziristan region of the troubled northwest. Residents said they heard the sound of propeller-driven U.S. Predator drones circling overhead before the explosions. President Bush secretly approved more aggressive cross-border operations in July, current and former American officials have told The Associated Press. Some secret huh?

Domestic media have criticized the government for not reacting more strongly, even suggesting the public criticism is just lip service and that a secret deal has been reached with Pakistan's leadership allowing cross-border incursions.Pakistan army chief Gen. Ashfaq Parvez Kayani has denied that and vowed to protect the country's sovereignty "at all cost." "We need at this time to make it clear to foreign countries that Pakistan will not tolerate such actions," said Ahsan Iqbal, a lawmaker in Sharif's Pakistan Muslim League-N party. "If it continues, then Pakistan can consider pulling out completely from this war on terror." Iqbal and another party leader called for an urgent parliament session to debate how Pakistan can respond.

"The parliament must be convened on a one-point agenda, because the nation is under a threat of war," said lawmaker Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan. "Irrespective of where the threat is, every inch of this country is sovereign. Every inch of this country is sacred." Defense Minister Chaudhry Ahmad Mukhtar said Pakistan's armed forces were "ready to meet any such eventuality if this is repeated" and evoked Pakistan's war against India in 1965. "America is daily deepening the well of resentment against itself that no amount of aid or pious diplomatic platitudes will ever fill," The News daily said in an editorial Friday. Some analysts suggest the Bush administration is turning up the heat in Pakistan, hoping for last-minute victories in the face of a growing Taliban insurgency in Afghanistan. Pakistan threatens to pull out of so called war on terror

Then Alarm bells suddenly went off in government offices from Washington to Ottawa to London to The Hague when Pakistan's newly minted democratic government, after almost nine years of military rule, suddenly closed the border to all NATO resupply traffic to Afghanistan. NATO and U.S. troops in Afghanistan are resupplied by endless convoys of trucks that snake over 1,200 miles through Peshawar and the Khyber Pass to reach Kabul and points north and east, and over 600 miles for the more direct route through Quetta, the capital of Baluchistan, and Chaman on the border to reach Kandahar and points south and west in Afghanistan. Oil, food, heavy equipment, hospital supplies -- all are trucked at a cost of $1 million a day in Pakistani road tolls.

The Taliban had announced it was planning for a 20-year insurgency campaign to victory while NATO's only member nations doing the fighting in Afghanistan -- Canada, Britain, and Holland -- said they were authorized by their parliaments for two more years, and then out. In a country the size of France or Texas, the outgoing NATO commander said the Afghan mission required at least 400,000 troops. Current in-country force: 60,000. The withdrawal of 8,000 U.S. troops from Iraq would allow for the transfer of another brigade to Afghanistan, still a far cry from rock-bottom requirements.

Pakistan is fighting an existential threat comparable to 1971 when Pakistanis lost half their country in a war with India. East Pakistan, separated by 1,000 miles of Indian territory, became Bangladesh. This traumatic shock to the body politic also sparked Pakistan's drive for nuclear power. Now Pakistan is fighting a large-scale insurgency against a wing of the Taliban that has spilled out of FATA into the North-West Frontier province and beyond with attacks on the army's principal ordnance plant and other army installations. In authorizing last week's raid into South Waziristan, one of seven tribal agencies on the Afghan border, President Bush was testing the boundaries of the new government -- and the authority of Zardari over the army. In Afghanistan, the future of the Atlantic alliance is at stake. In Pakistan, the state itself is at stake. Pakistan closes its border to NATO resupply convoys

Now KEY corps commanders of Pakistan's 600,000-strong army issued orders last night to retaliate against "invading" US forces that enter the country to attack militant targets. The move has plunged relations between Islamabad and Washington into deep crisis over how to deal with al-Qa'ida and the Taliban. What amounts to a dramatic order to "kill the invaders", as one senior officer put it last night, was disclosed after the commanders - who control the army's deployments at divisional level - met at their headquarters in the garrison city of Rawalpindi under the chairmanship of army chief and former ISI spy agency boss Ashfaq Kayani.
Leading English-language newspaper The News warned in an editorial that the US determination to attack targets inside Pakistan was likely to be "the best recruiting sergeant that the extremists ever had", with even "moderates" outraged by it. The "retaliate and kill" order came amid reports of unprecedentedly fierce fighting in the Bajaur Agency of Pakistan's tribal areas, an al-Qa'ida stronghold frequently mentioned as the most likely lair of Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri. At the same time, a series of brutal killings by the militants were reported.

The order to retaliate against incursions by "foreign troops", directed specifically at the 120,000 Pakistani soldiers deployed along the border with Afghanistan, follows US President George W. Bush's authorization of US attacks in Pakistan. Washington's determination to launch such attacks has caused outrage across Pakistan, with Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani last night strongly backing a warning by General Kayani that Pakistan would not allow its territorial integrity to be violated. The "kill" order against invading forces, and the sharp deterioration in relations with the US, has far-reaching implications for the war on terror. Anger at all levels in Pakistani society was summed up last night in The News, not normally sympathetic to the militants. "There is an escalating sense of furious impotence among the ordinary people of Pakistan," the newspaper said. Pakistan order to kill US invaders

Palin was never in Iraq as was bragged Obama aid rightly calls McCain campaign sleaziest in History while Ed Koch inundated with up with Obama calls!

Remember the lie about Palin's vast world ravel and visit to Iraq? Now we are starting to hear a tiny truth as Sarah Palin did not visit troops in Iraq, a spokesperson for the Republican vice presidential nominee confirmed Saturday, as new details emerged about the extent of the Alaska governor's foreign travel. In July of last year, Palin left North America for the first time to visit Alaskan troops stationed in Kuwait. Palin officials originally said her itinerary included U.S. military installations or outposts in Germany and Kuwait, and that she had visited Ireland.

McCain the liar and it is catching up with him! Keep it up!

* A Palin aide in Alaska had said Iraq was also one of the military stops on that trip. The Boston Globe, however, reported Saturday that in response to questions about the trip, Alaska National Guard officials and campaign aides said Palin did not go past the Kuwait-Iraq border. In addition, campaign aides also confirmed reports to CNN Saturday that Palin's time in Ireland on that trip had actually been a refueling stop. The Obama campaign -- which has increasingly accused the McCain campaign of deliberately lying in ads and on the stump -- was quick to highlight that story, along with a news report that explored whether the McCain campaign has been sending out wildly inflated crowd estimates.

The McCain team has twice pointed to law enforcement as the source for those estimates -- but the same officials denied to Bloomberg News that they had provided the numbers cited by the Republican nominee's campaign. "The McCain campaign said Gov. Palin opposed the bridge to nowhere, but now we know she supported it," said Obama spokesman Tommy Vietor in a statement. "They said she didn't seek earmarks, but now we know she hired a lobbyist to get millions in pork for her town and her state. They said she visited Iraq, but today we learned that she only stopped at the border. Americans are starting to wonder, is there anything the McCain campaign isn't lying about?" A Palin spokesperson also confirmed that the governor had visited Mexico on a personal vacation. She has also visited Canada. Hell I guess we all have Foreign relations experience!

The view ate McCain up and the right is working over time sleazing Obama to cover Palin and McCain's significant lies and shortcomings! Sen. Barack Obama's spokesman on Saturday accused Sen. John McCain of "cynically running the sleaziest and least honorable campaign in modern presidential campaign history." Obama, speaking to a crowd Saturday in Manchester, New Hampshire, said, "John McCain wants to have a debate about national security; let's have that debate. I warned that going into Iraq would distract us from Afghanistan. John McCain cheerleaded for it. John McCain was wrong, and I was right."

"The McCain-[Sarah] Palin ticket, they don't want to debate the Obama-Biden ticket on issues because they are running on eight more years of what we've just seen. And they know it," the Democratic presidential nominee said. "As a consequence, what they're going to spend the next seven, eight weeks doing is trying to distract you. "They're going to talk about pigs, and they're going to talk about lipstick; they're going to talk about Paris Hilton, they're going to talk about Britney Spears. They will try to distort my record, and they will try to undermine your trust in what the Democrats intend to do.

"We will take no lectures from John McCain, who is cynically running the sleaziest and least honorable campaign in modern presidential campaign history," said Obama spokesman Bill Burton. "His discredited ads with disgusting lies are running all over the country today. He runs a campaign not worthy of the office he is seeking." Love it get tough!

It is small wonder people are waking up to the inadequacies of McCain and Palin as ex Mayor Ed Koch's experience proves and I believe it has to be widespread! Not since Edward I. Koch disclosed this year that he was suffering from a serious spinal ailment has his online commentary generated the volume of e-mail messages he received in response to his endorsement of Senator Barack Obama for president last week.In his commentary, which is e-mailed periodically to roughly 4,000 subscribers, Mr. Koch, who has been a supporter of President Bush, wrote that “the country is safer in the hands of Barack Obama” and that though Sarah Palin the Republican vice-presidential nominee, is “a plucky, exciting candidate,” it “would scare me if she were to succeed John McCain in the presidency.” Endorsement of Obama Overflows Koch’s In-Box

* I reiterate, McPalin is already marked to carry on this fascist agenda that is rapidly developing! Someone better stop just asking the right questions and ignoring the blatant lies and hold them accountable Before it is too late. We do not have much time left! The entire world will pay as they have with Bush if we by Hook or by Crook end up with McCain as President!
