Obama wins Clinton won't concede unless given VP, with McCain same lies different disguise!

I am not sure why but this is the only video I could get to work. Mccain's idiocy would not come out nor would Obama's speech? I have to put my story together but have come to the conclusion that unless Obama gives Hillary VP this is just beginning and the nightmare Limbaugh and Ickes promises for the DNC will be a fact! Anyway think about it and check out this video while I put it together!

Obama wins and Clinton won't concede unless given VP, with McCain same lies different disguise! This has to end before the DNC or we are in trouble!

Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois claimed the Democratic presidential nomination Tuesday night, NBC News projected based on its tally of convention delegates. By doing so, he shattered a barrier more than two centuries old to become the first black candidate ever nominated by a major political party for the nation’s highest office.

“After 54 hard-fought contests, our primary season has finally come to an end,” Obama told cheering supporters in a victory celebration in St. Paul, Minn., at the site of the convention that will nominate his Republican opponent in the fall, Sen. John McCain of Arizona. “Tonight, I can stand here before you and say that I will be the Democratic nominee for the president of the United States of America.”

Obama, 46, of Illinois, hailed his Democratic rival, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York, for having “made history in this campaign, not just because she is a woman who has done what no woman has done before, but because she’s a leader who inspires millions of Americans with her strength, her courage and her commitment to the causes that brought us here tonight.” “Our party and our country are better off because of her, and I am a better candidate for having had the honor to compete with Hillary Rodham Clinton,” Obama said. But after splitting the last two primaries of the election campaign with Obama, Clinton refused to give him the unalloyed victory he sought. Obama claims Democratic nomination But?
I understand Obama and Hillary had their obligatory conciliatory, congratulatory phone call but Hillary will not drop out and Obama did not ask her to be Veep. She will not give this up unless she is offered the VP
I don't know what to think but look at the possibilities, This list looks an awful lot like the one Robert Rouse put together but this is cnn's list of potential running mates for Obama

While the two faced lying McCain was welcoming Obama to the Presidential race McCain and Obama both vowed and are running on change. Change? McCain? Same lies different disguise! After clinching the Democratic presidential nomination, Barack Obama on Wednesday went on the offensive against Republican opponent John McCain, who responded by sending his rival a letter inviting the two to hold a series of town hall meetings across the country.
In a speech to the American Israel Public Affairs in which he vowed solidarity with the Jewish state, Obama accused McCain of having a "plan for staying, not a plan for victory," in Iraq. “Keeping all of our troops tied down indefinitely in Iraq is not the way to weaken Iran, it is precisely what strengthened it,” the Illinois senator said. Hillary Rodham Clinton, Obama's defeated Democratic rival, followed Obama to the podium at AIPAC, delivering a strong defense of Israel — and also of her rival in the nominating race.Hillary and Obama both belittle McCain on Iran, Iraq, and the middle east
* Hillary is being very supportive of Obama and how good he will be for Iraq, Israel, and middle east peace but that will end if it becomes obvious she does not stand a chance of VP if that is the case! We cannot afford a President McCain to happen if we can keep this election too from being stolen. McCain's change is the same lies with a different disguise! We must come together! Like it or not I see an Obama Hillary ticket guaranteeing party unity albeit with many caveats. Personally I see many potential nightmares for Obama and us with "Billary" as Veep but I don't realistically see a way around it! Short of being offered the VP I see Hillary taking this to the DNC and Ickes, Bill, and other "ilk" will happily make Limbaugh's dream and my worst nightmare come true! Like it or not this is not over until it is over! Stupid me I thought it was "over" once the required amount of Delegates was gained. However consider the source and those pompous, fickle, egotistical, uncommitted Super Delegates are P'ing me off!

This may piss a few people off, but I think Obama needs to use Hillary. Have her run as VP and then marginalize her job - state funerals, health care push, etc. - and the first time an opening on the Supreme Court pops up nominate her and then get a VP he can work with.

I have to laugh! You are entirely right! I just finished putting my thoughts together and I think unless she is given Veep ickees and Bill are going to make Limbaugh's dream and my worst nightmare come true. I see hell otherwise. She will make a hell of a friggen mess and get McCain elected. I like your thought on how to get rid of her.

I just heard former US Deputy AG Eric Holder and Caroline Kennedy or 2 of the 3 picked so far to search for a Veep for Obama!

I have to take McCain at his word thst there will be change. That change will be things will get worse than they have ever been before.

I just don't think we will like his kind of change.

I'm with Jimmy Carter. He says Clinton would be, "...the worst mistake that could be made".

I can add several more things, mainly, keeping Obama alive. Putting Hillary on the ticket will NOT guarantee a Dem victory in November, it would doom it. What WILL guarantee victory, is Clinton telling her supporters to support Obama with no strings attached.

The Clintons have been de-throned this Primary season. If she refuses to whole-heartedly get on board behind Obama, her future in the Democratic Party is toast; Harry 'Stepenfetchit' Reid has already told her as much.

Obama with Clinton behind him, sounds rather like the Kennedy-Johnson ticket, which for most of the world, was a rotten event in american politics.
I heard Obama has asked one of the Kennedys (Caroline?) to assist him in the choice of running mate, who knows, maybe you guys are seeing a "New Camelot".
Just don`t mention the current deficit, or military spending..:)

I don't see it getting any better in the near future. I understand what Robert said but I don't agree. Let her just go off and pout. choosing her as VP running mate would just keep her as part of the good old boys club even though she is a woman. I would like to think that Obama is above that.

And why don't we have a VP primary? Why don't we get to decide who the VP is going to be?

American politics, it's bullshit.

America had it's run and now it's
China's and others turn. I'm just going to settle down and watch the show, I'm going camping in a few hours, too hell with this mess.

Under McCain there would be change. His horror believe it or not would dwarf even Bush's. Yesterday it was quite unnerving listening to McCain and seeing that continuous sinister grin every time he challenged Obama. I really can't wait till they meet one on one. Obama is a thousand times beyond mcCain!

I agree with Carter too. I am just concerned that she will make it very miserable to the DNC and beyond unless she gets it. If she does it will bring unity but hell because of Billary unless Obama knows how to placate her. I like Robert's idea. I also agree with those that say Obama wetter get a food taster. Any way you look at it this is dicey and is not over.

He has Holder, Caroline, and Johnson, looking. I never thought about that ticket comparison but you are right. The results with the war would be the same too. it amazes me and i say it often but often you outside of America see more than we do and certainly seem to care more than most Americans.

I agree! I am just concerned that there are enough idiots that will elect McCain if they do not get their way. I like the idea of placating her and getting rid of her and Bill later.
Our election process and Democratic facade is increasingly designed to be taken out of our hands. I am sick of hearing the process is not perfect. It should be by now unless designing it to be taken out of our hands is the goal and it is. I am sick of these egocentric holier than thou Super Delegates who keep playing games and think they are like Gods.

Clinton is conceeding and closing up shop on Saturday. I actually think she'd be a good choice for a Cabinet position, and potentially for the Supreme Court.

Cabinet position, maybe (she would be fireable), SCOTUS, definately not. She is way too venal and political, and refuses to admit to mistakes. We don't need another 'god' on the court.

I caught it this morning that she changed it to Saturday to give those that work during the week the opportunity to attend.
In the name of unity if need be I would begradgingly offer her the VP and as Robert said give her another position later thus nudging her out. We just have to keep Mccain out if we are to have a chance in the future. He appears more like a mad man every day. I am really banking on thet being highlighted by Obama and their one on ones.

If Hillary was running for President this wouldn't be my concern but as VP I look at Bill as a negative. In any position Billary has turned into a very scary unnerving presence.
