First the countries of the world that have leaders that support Bush and his warmongering are slowly but surely turning on them. We don't have to discuss what Musharraf has done in Pakistan and the simple fact that it too will erupt until Bush has the excuse to go after them too. We know how this will all turn out regardless of the efforts of those of us that do not matter but we can't stop trying to make a difference. We are increasingly alone thanks to the chief idiot!
Yesterday Australia’s prime minister, John Howard, one of President Bush’s staunchest allies in Asia, suffered a comprehensive defeat at the hands of the electorate on Saturday, as his Liberal Party-led coalition lost its majority in Parliament. Another Bush supporting world leader bites the dust as Mr. Howard’s defeat, after 11 years in power, follows that of José María Aznar of Spain, who also backed the United States-led invasion of Iraq, and political setbacks for Tony Blair of Britain. The world is waking up and abandoning us as Bush continues to put a choke hold on our liberties and those that speak against his warmongering as you know, certainly if you have been following the recent conversation at Lydia's.
Mr. Howard may suffer the indignity of losing his own seat of Bennelong on Sydney’s north shore, which he has held for 33 years, to a former television anchor and rookie politician. He would be the first sitting prime minister to lose his seat since 1929. I want to point something out to you. That is stunning in itself but voluminously when you remember 1929, what it meant to the world, and who (Republicans) was in power when it happened and I keep saying on every scale this will be exponentially worse and it can not be stopped regardless of which party is in office next.
Mr. Howard has a strong personal relationship with Mr. Bush that is based on a similar socially conservative philosophy and a shared outlook on terrorism. Australian opinion polls have shown that although Australians remain strong supporters of the so-called Anzus alliance — the security pact among Australia, New Zealand and the United States — they do not approve of Mr. Bush or the Iraq war. “Howard is out of touch,” said George Varvaressos, 52, who voted in eastern Sydney on Saturday morning. “It’s the arrogance of being in power for too long — he hasn’t been listening.” Another one bites the dust
** Rudd who was a Diplomat in China speaks Mandarin and has a great relationship with China. China is not only fueling our economy but the Australian economy as well. As we are increasingly alienated by the rest of the civilized world someone like Rudd may be of use to us.
Anyway the world is wising up to Bush as we are but the other countries of the world care about their citizens where Bush does not and is increasingly silently stealing more power to keep us depressed so he can follow his wars. As Bush's mess worsens every day and the world abandons us we are increasingly powerless to stop Bush and are more alone against the world everyday.
