Bush refuses to be the first President to do the right thing! Since when did he not want to be the first in Anything?
A few days ago I published a request from Cooperative Research for reminders of scandals in the Bush Administration so they could gather them to aid Congressional Investigators.

That gave me an idea. A list of Bush firsts! This will be short but it will be a long list with your help. The idiot said he did not want to be the first President to allow federal money to be used for stem cell research while the majority of people are for it. After his veto Bush announced no new federal dollars for stem cell research, which supporters say holds the promise of disease cures, and his order would not allow researchers to do anything they couldn't do under existing restrictions.
Announcing his veto to a roomful of supporters, Bush said, "If this legislation became law, it would compel American taxpayers for the first time in our history to support the deliberate destruction of human embryos. I made it clear to Congress and to the American people that I will not allow our nation to cross this moral line."

It has always been for the wrong thing but I was thinking, since when does he not want to be the first to do anything and decided to put a list of firsts together, all negative of course, and send them to Cooperative Research to be used in the compilation of their data base.
I started compiling my list and realized I needed your help. Bush's firsts I Remember! First American to start an illegal war. by the way, 14 more Americans killed in the last two days.
First to enact the Patriot Act so he could steal every right he possibly can from you.
First to purposely allow a catastrophe in America from a natural disaster called Katrina
First to start a Democratic disaster in Palestine and the middle east.
First to be able to steal your mail, eavesdrop on you, and break into your house. Passports to come and go in America, and no child left behind. There are many firsts all bad, what can you add for me?

Good post. Bush is sadly the first to do many things, and as the bibical phrase goes, we the people will reap what he has sown.
Larry
I thank you and agree 100% Sadly we will reap what Bush has sown and it will not be good. The hell he is creating will play out uncontrolled long after he is gone.
