Chapter 4 & 5 of Life today the Real Story
Continued from yesterdays installment 5: How often have the pillars of our wisdom and beliefs been crumpled into dust? The sobering answer to this is that it happens all day every day. It is happening at an ever increasing rate due to our increased knowledge. The inaccuracies came about as a result of hurried misinformation and inadequate studies.
At one time as we all know hundreds and hundreds of generations believed that the earth was flat or so we thought. We now know of civilizations spread around the world that in fact knew the earth was round thousands of years ago. His was at a point in time when it would have been impossible for man to know this.
What was once a concrete law that the sun revolved around the earth was believed to be true for thousands of years. We are still convinced that our earth is the center of all life. Even though it has been proven that the earth is just an ordinary relatively insignificant star in the big picture called the Universe.
Even though we know for a fact that the earth is not the center of the universe religions continue to disregard this.
It is time for us to admit to our insignificance by adding to our fledgling discoveries in the vastly unexplored cosmos. Only then will we realize the real stature of man in the realm of the universe. Our future lies in the opportunities posed by the universe as the Gods promised they would. Why do you think they knew that? They were right but do you not wonder what was known that could not be told to the people?
The basic research for the rocket propulsion of tomorrow, with enough power to propel us well into a research of the cosmos, is well underway. Rocket motors of the future will be mainly powered by nuclear fusion. They will have the ability of travel nearly the speed of light. The fuel supplies will be transformed into electromagnetic radiation.
They will then be ejected from the rocket as a clustered propulsive jet once the speed of light is approached. We can see these speeds as attainable. Particularly in light of the fact that we just approached 10 times the speed of sound. This was a physical impossibility even a few years ago.
A bold new method whose feasibility is already being tested and shown by physical experiments on actual individual elementary particles will be the photon rocket. Admittedly, this sounds so futuristic, but the future is here. It is up to us to take advantage of it to the fullest. We have the ability to learn as never before. We can save ourselves a lot of grief, and we are obligated to future generations to do so.
As we discussed, our historical past is a hodge podge of excavations and old writings, biased with naivety. Many of which we have to say, have been proven to be loaded with misinformation. However we continue to refer to and teach them as historical fact. We are still attempting to weave them into historical teachings and life today. Even though we know they are wrong instead of correcting them to what we now know of as facts.
Before we continue any further I want to give credit where it is due. The information we are talking about in regards to our past have come from a book, as I have said previously, that I first read more than 30 years ago. The book is Erich Von Danikens “Chariots of the Gods”. I encourage many of you, if interested, to get his books and read further on his subjects.
There is much information and speculation that we will not be covering. We are only interested in the facts as they relate to our past. We are only concerned with what relates to our current problems in society and the world. Ultimately we are concerned about our future survival.
So, with this in mind it behooves us to get our past right. However, in the interest of learning knowing and practicing that which we know is true, we have to do this right. We must find out the facts first. We must do this before we too are guilty of knowingly spreading falsehoods and unknowns.
In 1929 ancient maps that belonged to a Turkish navy Admiral Piri Reis were found. They were found at the Topkapi Palace during renovations. Two atlases preserved in the Berlin State Library which contains exact reproductions of the Mediterranean and the region around the Dead Sea also came from Piri Reis.
All 3 maps were given to an American cartographer for examination. He confirmed the remarkable fact that all the Geographical data was present. He sought the help of a cartographer in the U.S. Navy Hydrographic Bureau. The men then constructed a grid and transferred the maps to a modern globe.
They made a sensational discovery. The maps were absolutely accurate. They were right not only in regards to the Mediterranean and the Dead Sea. The coasts of North and South America, and even the contours of the Antarctic were accurately shown. The maps not only reproduced the outlines of the continents. They also showed the topography of the interiors, mountain ranges and peaks, islands, rivers, plateaus, they were all drawn in with utter accuracy.
In 1957 the maps were given to Jesuit Father Lineham who again, was a Cartographer in the U.S. Navy. After extensive testing he too could only confirm that the maps were amazingly accurate. What is more is the fact that we did not even discover these mountain ranges until 1952.
This was because they were covered with ice. So our maps were drawn with the use of echo sounding gear. The latest studies done by Professor Charles Hapgood and Mathematician Richard Strachan give us even more earth shattering information. A comparison with modern photographs of the earth taken from satellites show us that the Piri Reis maps had to be taken aerially and from a very great height, how.
Just in regards to copies of his maps in Germany one has to ask how they got there in the first place and when. Also you have to think that if any one country at that time had that kind of information and knew what to do with it would rule the world. The information was obviously over their head and they did not have the where with all to do anything about it if it wasn’t. Germany at least knew this information at a point in their history where it would have been very beneficial to use had they known what to do with it. Installment 7 tomorrow!
