I am happy to say palin's star is waning as the truth as to her lying and inadequacy is catching up to her!

Internal Government Document Contradicts Sarah Palin, Campaign. An internal government document obtained by ABC News appears to contradict Sarah Palin's most recent explanation for why she fired her public safety chief, the move which prompted the now-contested state probe into "Troopergate." Fighting back against allegations she may have fired her then-Public Safety Commissioner, Walt Monegan, for refusing to go along with a personal vendetta, Palin on Monday argued in a legal filing that she fired Monegan because he had a "rogue mentality" and was bucking her administration's directives.

"The last straw," her lawyer argued, came when he planned a trip to Washington, D.C., to seek federal funds for an aggressive anti-sexual-violence program. The project, expected to cost from $10 million to $20 million a year for five years, would have been the first of its kind in Alaska, which leads the nation in reported forcible rape. It is beyond me why a woman especially could be against helping those suffering from sexual violence?

The McCain-Palin campaign echoed the charge in a press release it distributed Monday, concurrent with Palin's legal filing. "Mr. Monegan persisted in planning to make the unauthorized lobbying trip to D.C.," the release stated. But the governor's staff authorized the trip, according to an internal travel document from the Department of Public Safety, released Friday in response to an open records request. The document, a state travel authorization form, shows that Palin's chief of staff, Mike Nizich, approved Monegan's trip to Washington, D.C., "to attend meeting with Senator Murkowski." The date next to Nizich's signature reads June 18. You can read the rest of the BS!

Then Sarah Palin on Friday accused “Democrat partisans” of pressuring the organizers of an anti-Iran rally to block her from attending the event in New York next week. Palin had planned to speak at the Monday rally, but the organizers said Thursday that no elected officials would be allowed to attend. The announcement came after Hillary Clinton pulled out of the event, having discovered that Palin would also be attending. “I was scheduled to appear at a rally with Senator Clinton whose commitment to this I appreciate. This is a critical issue and it should be an issue that unites all Americans,” Palin told supporters Friday in Blaine, Minn. “Unfortunately, though, some Democrat partisans put politics first, and now no elected official will be able to appear at that Stop Iran Rally.”

The rally, organized by major Jewish organizations and sponsored by the National Coalition to Stop Iran Now, is designed to protest Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s presence at the United Nations. Organizers said they weren’t being partisan, and that they decided to bar all elected and federal officials from the rally to avoid a “media feeding frenzy.” John McCain issued a statement Thursday blaming both “Democratic partisans” and Barack Obama for pressuring the groups to rescind Palin’s invitation. An Obama spokesman dismissed that suggestion. On Friday, Palin blamed only “Democrat partisans,” though it was unclear to whom she was referring. She said Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons should not be a matter of “partisan politics.” Palin blames Democrats for what her "friends" did!

* Palin said it should not be partisan and the Jewish organization cancelled her because they agree so why is she purposely making it Partisan? Create a problem where there is none for your own gain. Situation normal nothing has changed from Bush! Anyway another nail that I like the most! Rep. Charles Rangel, D-N.Y., already in trouble for tax problems, called Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin “disabled” on Friday, and then quickly retreated and said he misspoke saying he meant “disadvantaged.” Republicans called it a new low for the 78-year-old chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee.

Asked during an interview with New York’s WCBS-2 television why Democrats seem afraid of Pailin’s popularity, Rangel replied: “You got to be kind to the disabled.” The reporter repeated the phrase. “Yes,” replied Rangel and then added, “There’s no question about it. Politically it’s a nightmare to think that a person’s foreign policy is based on their ability to look at Russia from where they live.” Soon after the interview aired, Rangel in a statement said that he meant to say “disadvantaged.” “Governor Palin is an obviously healthy person who in no way fits the description of disabled. I meant to say then, and I am saying now, that she entered the campaign with a disadvantage in the area of foreign policy,” said Rangel. She is disadvantaged!

I firmly believe the facts are catching up to Palin and McCain! There is no way in hell that Neanderthal is qualified to be in the White House! There is a veritable laundry list of disqualifications. If the shoe was on the other foot and she was a Democrat they would have chewed he up and spit her out a long time ago. What the hell is wrong with Democrats!

Ha-ha I knew she would be the loser eventually.

Concerning Facebook?

I befriended you there but you have still not confirmed that you are my friend.

Actually there are some great anti Palin groups there and anti war ones.

She is a Neanderthal and an insult. There is no way she is qualified to be in the White House. It sickens me knowing she is going to Afghanistan to meet Karzai. I only pray he says what is this a joke? It is sick!
Facebook! Okay, I never go there. I joined it once for some reason but I don't remember why? I will try to get there now and of course I want to be your friend or I wouldn't be talking to you. I never go there or got notification so I'm sorry. I will go check now. Take care!

I just registered with face book and was told I would get an E and click on the link but I didn't get it so I tried again and it said to wait for the E so I guess I wait!

This is like a really shitty movie or soap opera. If something good comes from our side I'll know it when I see it and then I'll believe it. Until then we've gotten squat.

Did you see that Palin is going to Afghanistan to meet Karzai? That sickens me. There is no way on hell I want anyone in the world to think that Neanderthal represents us.
Quit honestly except for Wexler I can't think of anyone who does t right for us. The entire friggen Congress is complicit in this mess!

I'm heartened by the headline of your post today. My underlying hope is that the truth always worms its way to the the light eventually. Unfortunately, too often I've experienced that "the dark side" can keep truth hidden for too long. I've been hopeful all along that the Palin-for-VP choice would be the gun that shoots McCain in the foot, but I've been scared to rely on that hope. We'll soon see how smart the American people are.

Welcome! I really want to hope people will wake up! I am very disappointed in most Americans. It is an absolute insult nominating Palin. She is no Hillary.
I think it is up to MSM individuals to bring her to light and they are. Whether or not they will pay for speaking the truth like Dan Rather did remains to be seen but I believe that is already starting.
What is going on coming from the right is scary as hell and I do not see it ending. I will shut up, take care!

I don't know what is going on with face book but every time I try to join it won't let me and tells me I have to wait for my E mail. It never takes this long so I don't know!

Monique said...

That's strange. Aren't you already on there? You must be because I found you when I typed in your name. As far as I know you don't need to register, just type in your E-mail and password. That should be enough. Also, when I requested your friendship you should have had an E-mail telling you that you have a friend request.

You are already on facebook, I'm sure because you have four friends there and I'm determined to become number five.

Monique said...

Okay, I checked again and I am 99.99 percent sure it is you. Slightly different photograph, a little fuller in the face, same room with same back ground but taken at a slightly different angle.

You have three friends there and their names are

James Murray

Marc Parent

Jan Lucy Welch

Now if those names mean nothing to you, I have asked the wrong person to be my friend on Facebook. Oh joy!

oh Monique thank you!
I thought I was on there before but I wasn't sure because it has been a while. I also thought I would have got an E but I didn't. Maybe you have to be a member to get an E notification and maybe I am not I just don't remember. If I am already a member I don't understand why I can't get on. Bear with me I will try it again!

The Palin pick was a cynical, reckless and desperate maneuver. An attempt to gather the splintering RNC base and a long shot appeal to gender politics. That said, the jury is still out.
Where to begin. I guess I’ll address family because Palin has made it a major facet of her image (though it’s dismally absent from her platform). I’m deliberately choosing “family values” because “life” would be exhaustive and exhausting to take on.
If John McCain wins the election and Palin becomes the kind of vice president who exerts any influence over policy, she will no doubt do what she can to overturn Roe v. Wade and make abortion illegal again. That's her calling and her base; that's the reason she has, as campaign talking points would have it, "energized" the conservatives who eluded McCain. But what I wonder is this: Can we also expect that she will fight for longer maternity leaves and subsidized child care? Will she fight for programs that assist parents in raising disabled children, and force private insurance companies to pay for their care? Will she make it possible for a working-class college student to provide her child with a solid education in a safe neighborhood, and finish her education herself?
Doubtful. Paradoxically, kindness toward mothers and children in need—in the form of food, shelter, and education—is not a value the party she belongs to, including that energized base, upholds. Just this year, Palin used her gubernatorial power to reduce funding to Convenant House Alaska's Passage House, a program that assists young mothers in developing skills such as healthy parenting, money management, priority setting, housing acquisition and social skills.
(from The Luxury of Reproductive Choice by Judith Bristols)

I still have yet to see a rational, sensible or believable explanation for why a woman, pregnant at age 44 (which is considered advanced maternal age/high risk pregnancy), with a Down syndrome baby (also considered a high risk pregnancy and delivery), who goes into labor a month prematurely (even more high-risk), has her water break (which introduces a risk of infection and imminent labor, and usually warrants immediate hospitalization), does NOT go to the hospital, but instead, chooses to get on an airplane for an 8-hour trip from Texas to Alaska, arrives in Alaska, then bypasses major medical centers to drive another hour to a small clinic (which does not have a neo-natal intensive care unit/NICU, or perinatologists or neonatologists) to have a family doctor (not an ob-gyn) deliver a premature child with Down syndrome?
I would really love to hear a medical professional explain how Saint Sarah, the perfect mother, wasn't utterly negligent in the way she handled the birth of Trig.
In my day, teenage girls who got pregnant were “disappeared”, forced to have their babies and give them up for adoption. I have a friend who was separated from her son in this way. Today, Sarah Palin’s pregnant 17 year old daughter is paraded around on national tv like a trophy. Seems Bristol had as much to say about her reproductive rights, her family and her dignity as my friend did. Very painful to watch her daughter being exploited in this way. Not much progress we’ve made in 40 years.
I sure hope you are right in projecting that the RNC strategy will boomerang. All I can see in the recently occupied cities of Minneapolis/St Paul is a spike in demand for rimless eyewear.

Your funny but don't worry that is me. Janice is a dear friend. I have known her my entire life. We grew up together. She lived next door and she thinks I'm special or something.
The other 2 I don't know. You make me laugh to my knowledge I have only had this one picture on line. I was 50 in that but I am aging so fast I can't keep up with myself. Let me give that a shot again!

This is in the story but supposedly she may have fired her then-Public Safety Commissioner, Walt Monegan, for refusing to go along with a personal vendetta, Palin on Monday argued in a legal filing that she fired Monegan because he had a "rogue mentality" and was bucking her administration's directives.

"The last straw," her lawyer argued, came when he planned a trip to Washington, D.C., to seek federal funds for an aggressive anti-sexual-violence program. It is beyond me why a woman especially could be against helping those suffering from sexual violence?

She is a proven liar who united the conservative base. That is going to be her calling. It is beyond me how any woman can be against helping women who were victims of violent sexual crime.
I was very suspicious about the water breaking. I kept thing that baby too is her daughters. That water breaking story was too much for me to believe.

Plus her daughter was kept out of school for 8 months. Too suspicious! If it is palin's then that stupid move with the water breaking would have caused the kids problems plus no one who new her even knew she was pregnant. Come on!
Bottom line I am sickened that Palin is in this position. She is a damn Neanderthal and I firmly expect this election too to be stolen. The right has gone too far they are not going to let this mess be stopped now!

Facts don't matter to McCain/Palin. You could discover another thousand bald-faced lies, doesn't matter. The election has already been rigged/stolen. If Obama doesn't get at least 80% of the vote, the Repugs win.

Harry Truman was a hick senator from Missouri when the dying FDR picked him as a running mate a couple of weeks before the 1944 Democratic Convention.

It was known that FDR was dying and that he would not complete a 4th term if elected. He croaked 82 days after Inauguration Day.

After FDR died Truman was told about the atom bomb. Truman supported its development and then dropped two of them on Japan, ending the war in the Pacific.

Truman had no preparation for taking command of World War II and knew nothing of the atom bomb. He managed quite well.

Then he oversaw the Marshall Plan and the reconstruction of Japan. Rebuilding Germany and Japan took 7 years AFTER the fighting ended in 1945. The US gave control of Germany and Japan back to their newly formed governments in 1952.

McCain is healthy and there is no reason to think any of his current health issues have fatal implications. Unlike FDR, whose death was imminent.

Palin is not headed for the presidency. Unless she becomes a presidential candidate and wins an election.

Meanwhile, the Democratic obsession with her is an amusing piece of misdirection.

If there is anyone who lacks an appropriate background, it's Obama.

Bottom line -- he believes the government is the source of all services. He's got a marxist/socialist mindset and if elected, he will preside over a Democratic Congress. That means he will succeed in enacting many hugely expensive "programs" that will put additional burdens on taxpayers.

Based on what he has said about Healthcare, he will add spending of at least $200 billion Per Year Forever to the budget.

Okay very good!McCain has had 5 episodes with cancer and his mind seems to be going to me. I wouldn't want Palin who strikes me as a lying Neanderthal anywhere near the White House. The more I find out about her the worse she gets.
She is going to be visiting Karzai in Afghanistan and I am more than a little insulted to have someone who took 6 years in an Alaskan community College to get a Journalism degree and thinks she understands Russia because she can see it from Africa, representing me

Obama is 6 degrees to the right of Eisenhower. Have you read his books? He makes no bones about his affinity for neoliberal economic philosophy. In Obama’s second book, “The Audacity of Hope,” he says: “Reagan’s central insight — that the liberal welfare state had grown complacent and overly bureaucratic, with Democratic policy makers more obsessed with slicing the economic pie than with growing that pie — contained a good deal of truth.”
He has surrounded himself with “free” market ideologues, David Cutler, Jeffrey Liebman and Austan Goolsbee. Liebman has endorsed the partial privatization of social security.
Obama's Economic Advisers Robert Rubin And Larry Summers were central to the passage of Gramm-Leach-Bliley which deregulated the financial services industry.
As we all know, laissez-faire capitalism hasn’t delivered nearly what its proponents promised. It has created big budget deficits, the most pronounced income inequality since the 1920s and the current financial crisis.
Obama of late has taken a more nuanced stance because the times demand it. He positions himself somewhere between the Bob who influenced Clinton’s first term –Robert Reich, and the Bob who dominated his second term--Robert Rubin. Clinton’s labor secretary, Bob Reich, argued that the government should invest in roads, bridges and worker training to stimulate the economy and help the middle class. Bob Rubin, a former Goldman Sachs executive, was a strong proponent of free trade and open markets. Obama’s agenda starts with changing the tax code so that families making more than $250,000 a year pay more taxes and nearly everyone else pays less. That would begin to address inequality that is reaching critical mass.
Unfortunately, none of the candidates represents so-called mainstream America. In poll after poll, voters make clear that they want the normal decencies of jobs, proper housing and health care. They want troops out of Iraq and an end to endless war.

I did access it with my g mail account but did not see you. I did see Robert and Ingrid and joined them but don't know what else to do. I must admit to total ignorance of all this stuff as I spend all my time analyzing the lies and getting out the truth. Bear with me!

It is beyond me how anyone can criticize Obama as big Government big spending after Bush. Our Government is the biggest in History and McCain wants another oversight agency created. Obama wants to help the middle class not the wealthy as Bush does and McCain wants to continue Bush's new 2 society system! I just don't get it!
