Hakimullah Mehsud Pakistani Taliban leader dead now kill the rest following Bin Laden's vendetta

* Taliban chief killed in drone strike: In May, a drone strike killed Mehsud's second-in-command, and one of his most trusted lieutenants was captured in Afghanistan last month."Among the dead, who are in large numbers, are Hakimullah's personal bodyguard Tariq Mehsud and his driver Abdullah Mehsud, two of his closest people," said one intelligence source.

Mehsud was killed after attending a gathering of 25 Taliban leaders gathering to discuss the government's offer of talks, they said. "Hakimullah Mehsud was a very controversial figure and he had very tough demands," he said. But the strike did not signal the end of the Pakistani Taliban, he said. "It's a very decentralized organization. They've lost leaders to drone strikes before."

* The number two commander in the Pakistani Taliban has been promoted to leader after its previous chief was killed in a US drone strike.

Khan Said, also known as Sajna, now commands the militant group following a meeting of the supreme ruling council, according to security officials. Said is believed to have masterminded an attack on a jail in north-west Pakistan that freed nearly 400 prisoners in 2012 and an attack on a Pakistani air force base in the same year.

Every time we kill one of Al Qaeda's or the Taliban's top leaders of course we are greeted with threats of retribution. You know what they say about payback. Pay back is a mother f&%ker. We are in a race now more than ever. As you know, this vendetta against the west called terrorism is the head of the hydra. Kill one and many more take their place.

Now we have to kill two more top leaders, American Adam Ghadan a theorist and Ayman Al Zawahiri appointed as the new leader after UBL's death. Al- Awlaki was computer savvy and the prime motivator for attacks on the west. This is an important development but someone else will step up. We must be more observant than ever even on the internet as there are more out there that are computer savvy.

We have to continue to kill them quicker than they can recover but when it is all said and done you may not have one central leader but now hundreds of thousands or millions of disenfranchised extremists operating on their own. Maybe they are not able to pull off the big fabulous hits but they can the small ones and disrupt and terrorize our daily lives. That is why it is called terrorism! Remain vigilant.

A US drone strike in north-west Pakistan has killed two to FIVE KEY top commanders "and then some" of one of Pakistan's most influential Taliban groups

Top militants 'dead' in Pakistan: A US drone strike in north-west Pakistan has killed two top commanders of one of Pakistan's most influential Taliban groups, officials say. Suspected U.S. unmanned aircraft fired six missiles at a vehicle in Pakistan's rugged tribal region Thursday, killing five militants, including a close ally to one of the area's top commanders, Pakistani intelligence officials said. The attack in the South Waziristan tribal area killed Khan Mohammed, also known as Sathai, deputy leader of a group of militants led by Maulvi Nazir, the officials said. The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the media, said Mohammed was also Nazir's cousin. The strike also killed one of Nazir's brothers, Hazrat Omar, they said.

Nazir is one of the most powerful militant commanders in the tribal region and is accused of working with the Taliban and al-Qaida to stage attacks against foreign troops in neighboring Afghanistan. He is believed to have close relations with Pakistani intelligence and agreed to stay neutral when the military invaded South Waziristan in 2009 to fight the Pakistani Taliban, who have focused their attacks against the Pakistani state. I hear it was 6 or 7 key commanders killed!

According to sources, a drone fired missiles at a vehicle that killed five commanders including Nazir's brother. The commander identified four of the commanders as Hazrat Omar, Nazir's younger brother, Khan Mohammad, Miraj Wazir and Ashfaq Wazir. Nazir's faction focuses on attacking US-led NATO troops across the border in Afghanistan.

Security sources said there was strong evidence that Taj Gul Mehsud, a senior Taliban commander and close aide to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leader Hakimullah Mehsud, was among the victims in the attack Wednesday. I thought Hakimullah was killed more than a year ago but this is great news!

And newer: Suspected US drone strike kills 6 alleged militants in Pakistan’s tribal region, say officials: Suspected U.S. unmanned aircraft fired six missiles at a vehicle in Pakistan’s tribal region near the Afghan border Sunday, killing six alleged militants, Pakistani intelligence officials said. The high number of missiles used in the attack in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan seemed to indicate an important militant was targeted. But the identities of those killed were as yet unknown, said the officials, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the media. I can't wait to find out who was killed in this attack!

As we know for a fact though they deny it, the ISI has trained and armed any tribe or group of militants who desire to take down Afghanistan and kill and remove "the infidels" from the area. ISI arming and training anti American anti afghan forces

I always thought the Haqqani's were the most powerful group trying to take back Afghanistan and force NATO and the West to leave. However they are largely being decimated and are being forced to the bargaining table. Here

When all is said and done With the death of Osama Bin Laden we were asked what his death would mean for the war in Afghanistan. Like the so called war on terror which includes the Taliban, Al Qaeda of every creed, and extremists of every ilk looking to carry on Osama's vendetta against the west, it has served to fuel their cause. With that said with so much emphasis on killing the Haqqani's I forgot about the other groups we are fighting. I am glad to see we have not and have not dropped the ball.

The Taliban and Al Qaeda in Pakistan and Afghanistan think they are getting away with something but they are being watched closely by JSOC ready to pounce and take them out when given the command. At the rate they are now being killed I would say the order has been given and we are still holding back hoping we can kill enough of their top leaders to convince them to come to the bargaining table.

I originally wanted the top leaders taken out first but I think we are doing this right. Keep the top leaders and let us get out and they will then be able to hold the tribes and their interests together. I just want us out! Our soldiers have done a superb job and we should never have put boots on the ground but exclusively used drones.

Pakistan is killing the Taliban and Afghanistan soldiers continue to kill their American helpers. WTF? Can't we get the message?

Pakistan plans key offensive against Taliban! What the hell is wrong with Afghanistan? Get the hell out America!
Pakistan Plans Key Offensive

US Officials Believe Pakistani Taliban Leader Dead Excellent! Baitullah Mehsud now Hakimullah Mehsud! Excellent Hakimullah didn't last long. What the hell is wrong with Afghanistan? Can't they see that it is obvious to the entire world that they are not fighting against the Taliban as they should be if they want to stay out from underneath stifling Sharia law? Do they not care how corrupt and inept they look?

Afghan soldier shoots dead two American troops Man WTF? They just returned from a joint operation with Afghanistan and the SOB shot the US soldiers dead wounding 2 others while they slept! Isn't it obvious? How many more have to die? Obama is looking at adding more US troops to this? WTF? Get the hell out America don't you get the message? Sharia law is proffered not Democracy!

I reiterate though it is a waste of time that like Afghanistan Pakistan is largely tribal but they want a central Government and freedom from the Taliban to continue to have their tribal customs and freedoms and are fighting for it! NATO go home! Scale back! Get out! We keep hearing how tough Afghani's are. Prove it! Pakistan has shown what they want and so has Afghanistan. Can't we take a friggen hint?
We keep hearing how we must get to Taliban moderates and Afghan moderates well get with it do it now and let them fight for their country. Moderate tribesmen in parts of militant-ravaged north-west Pakistan are challenging Taliban extremists threatening to overrun their area, in what will develop into a mass resistance movement. That is what Afghanistan must do!

America and NATO must get out! We have been there over 8 years, twice as long as WW2! If Afghanistan wanted freedom from the Taliban they would already be trained and fighting for it instead of just letting themselves be killed as pawns. Get rid of corrupt Karzai!

Why are the Afghan's not forming Lashkar's and killing the Taliban if they want their freedom from them? * Have a fair election, get rid of Karzai,Feed and supply Afghan's to fight if they want their freedom as Pakistan is and get out! That is the only answer not less or more troops.

Our soldiers did their job leave now with heads held high not our tails between our legs like in Saigon! Give food and supplies to the Afghans and if they want their freedom they will fight for it like the Pakistani tribes are. We should be helping Pakistan who has proved they want their freedom from Taliban and Sharia law. Don't add more troops this is Afghanistan graveyard of Nations. Cheat history get out now!

While the Lockerbie battle continues the battle against the Taliban in Pakistan and Afghanistan takes a new shape!

The new leaderZulfiqar Mehsud aka Hakimullah Mehsud the face of a very content Taliban killer!

As you know, I was deeply insulted with Megrahi's release! It was inappropriate and dead wrong and was done at the Judges discretion and we were brazenly told on one in the entire world can question this. Scotland's justice Minister said the decision was his and his alone and no one could question it. Former Libyan intelligence agent Abdel Basset al-Megrahi as you know was in Mohamar Qaddafi' secret service and worked directly for him. Qaddafi ordered the bombing that downed Pan Am flight 103 killing 270 innocent civilians.

I am disgusted we have allowed this mass murderer a known terrorist to go free, to go home to a heroes welcome. I thought guilty or not his release would embolden the so called terrorists and wondered why the world was not outraged. Right is right and wrong is wrong and this is friggen wrong. Well I find that with every day the Western world agrees.

Scottish leaders and Downing Street are feeling the heat! MacAskill who said the decision was his and his alone acknowledged that there has been widespread condemnation throughout the world on the terrorist's release but said those concerns exceeded his jurisdiction. That is a continuation of his self interested BS!

A web site has been set up demanding the Scottish Government rescind Megrahi's release! The site Boycottscotland.com, said. "Unless the Scottish government rescinds this decision to release al Megrahi, and if the British parliament does not intervening in the matter all Americans to protest this action by boycotting the United Kingdom and Scotland in full." Gee no Scottish Whiskey? Scottish leaders hold crisis meeting over Lockerbie furore

Except for Islam and MacAskill the entire world is up in arms and calling for a Boycott of Scotland at this point I believe that should extend to Britain though there is no way I could envision the guy going back to prison whether he should or not. FBI Director Robert Mueller called the Libyan's release "a mockery of the rule of law and I have to agree!

Prime Minister Gordon Brown believes the early release of the the Lockerbie bomber is too sensitive to comment on. They made no comment before his release and will make no comment now. I refuse to believe that Brown or MacAskill can really think Megrahi's release does not give succor to the terrorists. I do see the Scottish Government in serious trouble over this though England will succeed in distancing herself. These guys are fools this subject is world encompassing and it is an insult to the entire world not to address it. It is too sensitive not to comment on! Downing Street says Lockerbie release is too sensitive to comment on

Meanwhile The battle in Pakistan continues to ratchet up between between Pakistan and the Taliban 35 militants arrested in NW Pakistan search operations and amongst the Taliban themselves as vengeance is taken on Mehsud's in laws and they are being killed.Killings Rattle Pakistan Taliban

I keep hoping the Taliban will continue to in fight vying to replace Baitullah Mehsud. I guess that appears not to be the case as we are hearing rumors that his successor has already been chosen. Waliur Rehman said that Baitullah had given him full control over the network and that a new leader "would be chosen within five days." Rehman made no reference to Hakimullah Mehsud, whose aides said separately later Saturday that he had been chosen as new leader during a meeting Friday. Pakistan Taliban commander vows Afghan fight

Despite Taliban infighting in Pakistan Pakistani Taliban fighters are committed to helping the fight in Afghanistan and consider Barack Obama their "No. 1 enemy," They vowed to continue to continue helping their brothers in Afghanistan repel the infidels and their success continues I am sorry to say! 3 NATO troops killed in southern Afghanistan Sunday

* I can only hope we stay focused on this so called war on terror. Meanwhile I can only hope that with two such fierce commanders as Hakimullah Mehsud and Waliur Rehman claiming to be the appointed leader that they kill each other off and hopefully save NATO lives!
