Since the Right first announced Michael Steel as the new face and head of the Republican Party he has been self destructing! He is just saying one wrong thing after the other at least as far as the Republican Party is concerned! I really like his stance on abortion. At least the first one before he corrected himself after alienating Republicans.

Like Howard Dean use to do Steele gives his view not the party's drawing contention. Howard Dean learned now it is Michael Steele's turn. I happen to agree with him here but I am a Democrat! Steele says what he believes before he thinks or remembers who he represents! I was loving the fact that he is self destructing and the Republican Party is in turmoil but now that I know McCain is positioning to take over as head of the party and I fully expect the old man to run for President again in 2012 I am very concerned. I do not like any of them but Jindal, Palin, Steele, they are all imploding leaving McCain to take over and I am concerned of a McCain Romney run in 2012.

Steele said he was pro choice on abortion! he said he wanted to knock off Senators Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins (both of Maine) and Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter, promising all three a primary for Supporting the watered-down stimulus Bill of President Obama! Attacking Limbaugh was a big mistake as he alienated half his party and had to apologize. He is being to assertive saying he is the leader and no one else instead of being an all inclusive uniter.

Rahm Emanuel successfully drove a wider wedge in the Republican party, one they created. With Limbaugh's over inflated ego Rahm was able to successfully use Limbaugh's inflated big head against him and the Republican Party! The Republicans are still self destructing. They are still the Party of no! The obstructive party! The destructive Party! The days of that succeeding are over. We have had enough! They better wake up and smell the coffee. After 8 years of having their way and changing our societal order they know they have to change or fail once again but they just cant.

The Republicans are like little kids! Like spoiled little kids their response is to hold their breath but it will not work this time. They as usual cry loud and often. They jump up and down hold temper tantrums do what they can to screw up Obama and turn the people against him and success in reclaiming our America but not this time! For our own good they are our competitors but if we are to succeed they must get it together.

* Let me explain! I am not interested in Republicans getting it together or winning anything because we can no longer afford to have them in control but we do need them to support us as we lead and for the good of the country. I do not like them, to hell with them but we do need them to get it together and to have their games stop if we are to succeed! They destroyed our America and our functioning societal order and replaced it with the hell you are watching grow every day and it is still just starting! They destroyed our America and are proud of their accomplishment.

Bush was the Destroyer in Chief! He sat unflinching at Obama's inauguration even though everything Obama listed in the daunting list of problems he had to address and instantly was because of his so called success. He was proud of his destruction of our America and replacing it with his Republican Fascist version and flew into the unset stating that he was proud of listening to no one and doing what he thought was right! I was remembering him saying once he would listen to no one but would rather listen to his dog as his helicopter lifted off He did nothing right for average Americans and we live the scum's worsening success every day.

His destruction is going to be playing out for generations even though he rode off into the sunset. The Republican Party is not as lucky! They better get it together because they will not be riding into the sunset though many of us wish they would. I shudder at the thought of Reid and Pelosi getting in Obama's way and functioning or malfunctioning unchecked. I do not think they are on our side either but are interested only in their own selfish agenda which is not ours or Obama's!

That said like it or not we have to hope for our own sake that the Republicans get it together. Not just mask the same old destructive do nothing policies they must actually successfully reinvent themselves and start to be constructive. It is not for them but for the United States! Your version or not we must join together see that Obama succeeds and successfully move forward if we are to have a future! I would rather see Steele succeed than fail and have McCain take over.

The Religious Right had given Steele a choice choose life or abortion. They said choose life or get out of the way! He must re read Republican Party policy!Like it or not whatever he thinks does not matter. He represented the Republican Party and their beliefs. They have to get it together or go away and they won't go away. It is a dire necessity in order to succeed in an increasingly tenuous future!

As you know President Obama created the National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility to suggest solutions to the nation’s fiscal problems.

He appointed two chairmen of the commission; Erskine Bowles, the Democratic co-chair with a big business background and a small government agenda; and Alan Simpson, the Republican co-chair, had been a US senator whose voting record was solidly cautious conservative. What a surprise they recommend screwing the needy and average Americans.

My youngest just got back from Afghanistan and called yesterday concerned with threats to their health care and their retirement age.

Cut needless weapons there are Billions of dollars worth. Jim is in control in EOD and fighting the bureaucracy there where there is that much just there. It will not change as long as they put company associated civilians in charge.

This militaristic corporatocracy really irks me. Anyway Bush's goal was to destroy the middle class and FDR's legacy. When I ever heard Romney campaigning for McCain and saying Democrats Social Security and us trying to take care of everyone was America's number one enemy I knew we were in trouble.

We are in serious trouble and we let the best and the brightest do it to us. I have come to realize they are all corrupt. They get into Politics to see what they can steal.

They are all corrupt! Who gets caught is dictated by who is in power. Republicans all came up dirty as the Democrats are now. Now it is the blacks!

The United States has one political Party The Corporate Party

I like you can think of a million foul things to call this new political system of ours. Functional is not one of them at least for us. I was thinking about this a lot last night after our many conversations and listening to the same crap coming from each party just different versions.

We keep saying the parties today are the same and they largely are. That said I think I put it in terms we can all understand. We are sarcastically to be called the greatest Democracy in the world. How that is said or taken depends on the audience.

That said, we are not a Democracy any more as we from the United States know. We are a Democracy in name only, to play on average American's sympathies, to fool the world into following us, and lastly as cover for the real selfish agenda's going on here.

We have the gonads to look down on other countries calling them corrupt and from what I can see we are just as corrupt only our corruption is more diversified.

Again with that said we are no longer a two party system. When Palin was running I thought we had our third party "The pity party" but call it a dictatorship or whatever you want we have indeed become a one party system.

  I love the line in the movie "Distinguished Gentlemen". Eddie Murphy's character asks the old senator where he should stand on an issue. The senator replies " Hell it doesn't matter to me. We have lobbyists on both sides of the issue."

We have become a corporatocracy largely thanks to Justice Roberts and his Supreme Court. We now have one political party with 2 colors "red and Blue" used used to create the illusion of a two party Democracy but in fact to create a Grey area for the one Party "The corporate party" that rules America to hide in. Once again I am going to let the links tell the story and you can hit on the one or all of them that interest you. Fox and MSNBC have been going at it for years. After 9/11 I started listening to Fox because I thought they were right on top of what was happening with us militarily and terrorist wise. Eventually I realized that Fox was biased and being less than honest. Speaking of that I am right now listening to Rove and his lies an Faux news!

I was going to say it is not the news reporting where the misinformation is coming from it is the talk shows. The likes of Sean Hannity and Bill Oreilley and their lying biased guests. I am sick that Rove and many of these other hard line lying idiots even have a forum. Fox News commentators have been among the leading and harshest critics of Obama with Glenn Beck suggesting he is a racist trying to take America down the path to Communist and Huckabee saying that awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to Obama was little more than a joke. They are purposely feeding the nut cases.
The White House has taken exception, in particular, to some of these commentators evident delight in some of the administration’s setbacks. Faux has taken it upon themselves to make Obama fail and to carry the torch of Bush Cheney and the Fascist Republican party. We have been watching tit for tat between Fox and MSNBC primarily between Oreilley and Hannity on Fox and Olbermann and Ed on MSNBC. I agree that the White House does have to step into this and it peeves me that Faux has put them into a position that they are forced to play this game. Every Saturday Obama gives his weekly radio address and the Republicans rebuttal immediately follows. No matter what Obama is trying to repair they instantly come on to say how lame his plan is and then they proceed to put forth their brain dead proposal.

I am so sick of this equal time crap! Where the hell did that come from anyway? I do not recall third from the past. The President is the President! He is the one trying to run the country. What happened to respecting that and just shutting up? Bush who created this entire mess has now come out and joined the din and expressing the dangers of Obama's policies.

How the hell is the President supposed to get people on board of the ship called America when Republicans think it is their right to throw them back over. That whole concept that the other side deserves fair time to put their plan forth to confuse you once again must end. We have got to stop playing the childish Politician's games. We have got to move forward. We have got to focus on cleaning up the mess they and Bush made.

Bush and the Republicans had their chance and you are living what they did with it, Recession, destruction of the middle class, destruction of our societal order, two wars. What else? They destroyed our version of America and replaced it with their version. They want their version back. Seeing what I hope is Obama destroying their version and rebuilding ours is killing them. If they want their opinions out there and everyone has an opinion and on that level deserves to have it heard but not by all of us to just keep screwing up the country, put it on Fox. If you care what they think you can turn on Fox and hear it. The rest of us can have our sanity and Obama can move forward with repairing this mess.

First I reiterate I am heterosexual but I am ecstatic States are starting to allow gay marriage. We are all the same like it or not. We all deserve the same rights. We are crossing an important line though and we should. In this instance at least we are outlawing bigotry! I get sick if Republicans saying we must protect the sanctity of marriage. Your marriage is still sanctified. The meaning of marriage will not change for anyone, only those that want the meaning changed for them.
As you know by now, gay marriage is now just a ride away for most New Englander's. Iowa, Vermont and Connecticut have joined Massachusetts in legalizing gay marriage. As the joke goes, hell everyone should be equally miserable. Those in upper New York can go to Cana and those near New York City can go to Connecticut or Massachusetts. DC has announced they will recognize these marriages and Governor Corzine of New Jersey will sign a bill legalizing gay marriage While Governor Paterson of New York vowed to introduce a bill.

Time is not on the side of those against gay marriage. The majority of those under 35 are pro gay marriage. People just want to be left alone. We have seen some unpalatable changes in this country since Bush. There will now be big favorable changes in this country. Geesh thinking of the calls coming from Chuck Norris, Michele Bachmann, Bush Limbaugh calling for armed Revolution, big changes in our future could mean many things. * In closing I do not understand Republicans! Are they so shallow weak and insecure that they are threatened by everything that is counter to what they believe? I do not get it! I am a to each his or her own kind of guy. I could care less what someone else does. I have enough to worry about. I do not believe in forcing others to think and believe what I do. I can almost understand being against abortion as Republicans say it is about killing a life. Gay marriage has nothing to do with death so I do not get it. 55% want gay and lesbian marriage legalized and it should be. This is not the most important issue we are facing as Repugs say. It is the economy stupid! We are not redefining marriage. We are being all inclusive. Let Gays and Lesbians get married and use a justice of the peace not a church. That should satisfy everyone. I am sick of the lame argument that your marriage is under attack. Anyone who feels their marriage will change because of someone else's marriage needs help and should go see a marriage counselor!

Profligacy? Obama?

I was awake early again so I turned on the news to hear the last poop! I was watching MSNBC and they were discussing the latest in the Limbaugh saga. more on that as it is my focus but first, CNN and CNBC were both discussing this and all surrounding issues but on one of them they mentioned that Obama was being accused of Profligacy! My first reaction was what the hell is that? Then how dare him? Then I thought they made a mistake so I had to look it up. Profligacy: Profligate, to strike to the ground, route, ruin, to drive, dash, immoral and shameless, extremely wasteful; recklessly extravagant!

Seeing the definition I thought as you will doesn't that accurately describe what Bush did to us and our America? Isn't that what Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter, and the rest of the Right attempting to do to Obama?

So! Now I will discuss the latest efforts of Rush Limbaugh to Profligate Obama! Limbaugh has placed himself front and center of the Republican Party! He even took on Steele the head of the head of the Republican Party! Steele trying to get the focus off Republican division and put the focus back on to Obama and his supposed failure, his party is trying to trump up against Obama saysit is Time to move on from Limbaugh spat

As far as I am concerned he is a Fascist and represents the Fascist Republican Party with interests to keep that legacy of Bush as the driving force of the Republican party. Democrats attempting to use Limbaugh against the Republicans are constantly trying to paint him as the defacto leader of the Republican party. He is not the leader but is by definition of his instigation of both the Democrats and the Republicans the "Director" of the Republican party!

It is no secret Limbaugh wants Obama to fail! He said it many times and clarified many times that he wants Obama to fail if his goal is to destroy Capitalism and our Liberty. What? Again, didn't Bush already do that? While saying he cared about Capitalism he proved only for the business owners as he en masse let them ship our factories and jobs overseas and allowing them overseas tax shelters destroying our entire infrastructure in more ways than one along the way! Bush promoted entrepreneurship but only because small business owners were to hopefully sustain his new version of America until he left office. Now they too are failing under his Greenspan engineered financial collapse perfectly timed to occur after he left,

It is just beginning but first Limbaugh also said he wants Obama to fail if he wants to destroy our Liberty. Liberty? What Liberty? Bush under the guise of the Patriot Act enabled us to be wire tapped, have our mail riffed, our homes broken into, and us spied on! Liberty? Now because of his "success" in keeping us secure we are Bankrupt financially and morally and in danger of loosing our entire country. Liberty? You know Republicans are lost but they better rethink what they are saying and most certainly one of our so called Democratic leaders better publicly call them to the carpet bring their idiocy to the fore front and hold them accountable!

Despite Republican efforts to paint Obama as the destructor of Capitalism and our America people know he is the only chance we have of cleaning up the mess Bush and Republicans made and the most recent poll shows Obama more popular than ever

I have to laugh as despite all he has done to fix the financial disaster Bush and Republicans created the attack dog Republican party Administrator Rush Limbaugh has now changed his line of mouthy attack to Obama is not interested in stopping the crisis but of attempting to further Democratic interests. That is really sickening. Rush Limbaugh should be brought up on charges of treason for attempting to incite anarchy. What an ARROGANT loudmouth? What is he doing to help the crisis we're in? NOTHING! Just exercising his diarrhea of the mouth: it just keeps on spewing sh@t for someone else to clean up. No one of clear intelligence would take him, Newt Gingrich, Bobby Jindal or any other GOP speaker seriously. If they cared what the rest of the country thought, they would have been saying something when Bush got us into this predicament. Now that Obama has a plan to get us out, they got so much to say. This party should just die out soon because the American people see that they do not stand for the American way: truth, justice for all but only a return to Bush's Fascist Republican policies!
