How Growth Could Change The MidTerm Elections?
Obama learned from the great Depression Republicans did not and will go down again!
If the economy recovers the Republican's fate is sealed: It remains to be seen but I have been hearing that the recession is over and jobs are starting to be added. I heard it may be as much as 190000 jobs added though consensus is 180,000. Any way you look at it hiring in many Dtates is up. Non-Farm Payrolls Preview - April 2nd
All along many of us have been saying the extreme hateful vitriol will continue to burn them and they insist on running on it. Good for them good for us. If the economy recovers their fate will be sealed as they have been nothing but defeatist for Obama and the plight of average Americans and our America. How Growth Could Change The MidTerm Elections
You know I and I am sure others have been saying from the beginning of Bush's economic disaster that under GW Bush America was turned into a country with two obvious economies. Bush started the bailouts and President Obama continued the program. Wall Street was bailed out along with the rest of the system that sustained our system of Capitalism. The stock market recovered.
It was widely reported that total collapse and disaster was averted. The economy of the affluent was rescued "supposedly" I and others kept asserting that the average Americans economy now had to be rescued. With millions of lost Jobs, millions of lost homes, millions of homeless, and millions with no insurance, we knew a jobless recovery was a fallacy unless.
I am not the only one that cringed when I kept hearing of this thing called a jobless recovery. What is a jobless recovery? That is no recovery at all. We kept saying the first step to a recovery especially jobless would have to begin with the passage of a health care Bill. We kept hearing this one was no good but it is, that is why Republicans were against it.
32 million picked up immediately, no more shutting you off if you get sick, no more caps on coverage, your kids will be covered till age 26, I think this is a heck of a start. Now we have to be vigilant that everything is going according to plan and the abuse by insurance companies and all interests gaming the system are stopped.
Now we can begin to rebuild our economy and are! Time to rebuild average Americans economy and against the wishes of Republicans restore our America and narrow the gap between the haves and the have not's the last President purposely widened and turned into a chasm. Health care reform is passed is great for many average Americans and Obama is selling it. The economy is looking up. Let's get on with the recovery of our economy.

Cheney Palin in 2012! WRONG!

Two days ago I started a story about both sides now calling for Obama to get out of Afghanistan. Once again it morphed into the true story as to what was really going on by looking at a lot of things all happening at the same time. Something I heard yesterday brought full circle what The Democratic Party The Republican Party Cheney and Palin have all been working towards as President Obama is being hung out to dry in Afghanistan and on healthcare. Thinking of war monger heart attack Cheney with Frau Eva Braun Palin as his VP you better do everything to avoid that nightmare scenario.
I first heard that right winger George Wills said we should get out of Afghanistan then I heard that Both Party's want us out of Afghanistan!
Feingold to Obama: Announce Withdrawal Timetable from Afghanistan ...
Then everything that has been occurring and is occurring with health care Afghanistan Palin abandoning her post and Cheney tearing Obama down at every opportunity as his polls now show 60% of Americans are buying his lies and think he will keep them safe. Nothing can be further from the truth. If there is another 9/11 it will be directly his doing! I am afraid there will be another timely attack Cheney will say I told you so and the small core of his eccentrics will get him elected to supposedly keep us safe. God forbid! If that happened we are done. People can not be that stupid. Imagine Palin one heart attack away from destroying us with her stupidity!
Anyway we keep hearing that support for Afghanistan is waning but I think it is support for Obama that is waning as Republicans and their lies are beginning to sway people from Obama and the truth as both sides are guilty of purposely creating Obama's and our Waterloo while they play their Partisan games only concerned about their own party and agenda. If they succeed in making Obama fail and allowing Republicans back in our Waterloo will be guaranteed!
A majority of Americans now want us out of Afghanistan! The left the Right Media they all want us out of Afghanistan. I remember when this Bush mess started to be labeled as Obama's war. Bush's mess of an economy is now called Obama's. The Bail outs increased socialism all started by Bush and now credited to Obama. Health care reform is his but in the effort to create his Waterloo I am afraid that will fail too.
I do happen to agree with our getting out of Afghanistan but like everything else that too was Bush's! Right from the start we kept hearing "We are not in the business of Nation building" What a lie! We did our job in Afghanistan as it was originally portrayed to the world and the American people! We supposedly attacked Afghanistan to get the Taliban out of control of the Government and get Bin Laden out. He is gone so now we should leave.
We should concentrate on the Afghanistan Pakistan border. We should withdraw from Afghanistan and concentrate all our efforts on defending Pakistan's border with the use of drones. That should be our primary goal. We should work with Pakistan a country that has proven they want to destroy Al-Qaida and the Taliban. They have proven they want their Democracy. They have shown they are willing to fight and die in defense of their Government and we should help them.
We should cut our losses and get out of Afghanistan before we have another Saigon as I originally feared. The Government of Afghanistan is corrupt to the core and Afghanistan's army in large appears unwilling to fight. Leave them to their own demise and see how much they want their Democracy!
Afghanistan is Bush's war! However a while back Republicans Democrats and the media started calling Afghanistan Obama's war now they are all calling for him to get out, cut our losses. Knowing Obama right or not will not do that and has already added more troops with promises of adding more if needed you have to think they are hanging him out to dry as they endeavor to create his Waterloo.Cheney is posturing to run in 2012 so you better hope they fail to make Obama fail.
President Obama is on a slippery slope! Cut and run seems to be the message. In every regard now, health care, the economy, everything, both sides seem to be hanging Obama out to dry and setting him up for failure. You better hope they fail because they only care about their party and their agenda not you. If we lose Obama the only one who has your best interest at heart you are on your own. I told you from day one that Obama is on his own.
I do however believe we should get out of Afghanistan. As the original goal in attacking Afghanistan was portrayed to the world and the American public was supposed to be to free the Afghan government of the Taliban and getting rid of Bin Laden has been met we should leave. I thought we were not in the business of Nation building? Our goal was supposed to be to keep us from being hit again, preventing another 9/11. We can do that from here.
I am just peeved that we never should have attacked Iran and Democrats wanted us out while Republicans wanted us to stay there. Why? I agree with leaving Afghanistan but beside wanting to see Obama fail why are they calling for Obama to withdraw? I think again it is all about making the winner Obama "the loser" Health care, Afghanistan, the economy, in every instance both sides seem to want Obama's thus our Waterloo. You better hope they fail.
57% now oppose the war in Afghanistan 60% now believe Cheney's lies and are on his side. I guess they forgot he wants us in Afghanistan. Democrats and Republicans both say Obama has no plan for Afghanistan and Obama has no health care plan. Wait a minute this was all Bush's mess before it was given to Obama what the hell was his plan? War, war, war? Let the insurance companies continue to decide who lives and dies and don't allow the Government to stop it?
Everything is making sense to me now. I wondered what Palin was up to when she abandoned her post. I wondered why Cheney kept injecting himself in the mix as being right and our savior. I just found out there is a drive for a Cheney Palin ticket for 2012. That will tell you the future they want and why they want Obama to fail. In researching I found out it was set up in April! Cheney Palin in 2012!
They do not care about "OUR" America they want to get in and finish us and their agenda off. Maybe we should hope for a Cheney Palin ticket. Maybe we should hope that the Republican Fascist pup tent party does nominate Cheney and Palin with a promise of a return to lies and control to fiinish their total Fascist America that supposedly Obama is trying to form.
* In closing I believe only then will these Fascist extremists will really be brought out into the open and the majority will finally stand up and be counted. We are all going to have to defend the new America Obama is trying to establish, the one that our founding father intended. We finally have it. We are going to have to fight for it!

Critics Attack ABC News for Refusing to Air Opposing Ads During! Bravo to ABC, start a trend. Ignore them!

Critics Attack ABC News for Refusing to Air Opposing Ads to Obama's Health care Plan
Excellent! I am so sick of their crying and crap. It has peeved me from day one! No matter what he says or does the Republicans are right there to refute it. Every Saturday Obama gives his weekly radio address and the Republicans rebuttal immediately follows. No matter what Obama is trying to repair they instantly come on to say how lame his plan is and then they proceed to put forth their brain dead proposal.
I am so sick of this equal time crap! Where the hell did that come from anyway? I do not recall third from the past. The President is the President! He is the one trying to run the country. What happened to respecting that and just shutting up? Bush who created this entire mess has now come out and joined the din and expressing the dangers of Obama's policies.
How the hell is the President supposed to get people on board of the ship called America when Republicans think it is their right to throw them back over. That whole concept that the other side deserves fair time to put their plan forth to confuse you once again must end. We have got to stop playing the childish Politician's games. We have got to move forward. We have got to focus on cleaning up the mess they and Bush made.
Bush and the Republicans had their chance and you are living what they did with it, Recession, destruction of the middle class, destruction of our societal order, two wars. What else? They destroyed our version of America and replaced it with their version. They want their version back. Seeing what I hope is Obama destroying their version and rebuilding ours is killing them. No more party of No, go away. Let Obama do his job.
Wait until 2012! You will have another chance. You lost, shut up give the man his due. Give us all a chance. My hat is off to ABC, I am psyched. It just dawned on me, those idiots have their mouth piece. They have Fox in their pocket. Whenever those extremists like Rove and Cheney want to spew their swill they have the Sanity's more than willing to give them their forum.
Knowing we just continue to hear the same lies coming out of their mouths that created this mess in every respect I refuse to believe they are even allowed to speak publicly. They do not deserve air time. They do not deserve the right to rebut Obama and express their dissenting opinion. We know what they think and Obama's election proved we do not want to hear it any more.
If they want their opinions out there and everyone has an opinion and on that level deserves to have it heard but not by all of us to just keep screwing up the country, put it on Fox. If you care what they think you can turn on Fox and hear it. The rest of us can have our sanity and Obama can move forward with repairing this mess.

Gearing up Jobs and Healthcare yesterday! was this to hide the story of the first GITMO detainee arriving in NY for trial?

Obama: 'Time to Deliver' on Health Care
Obama promises 600,000 jobs in 100 days
Work starts on $8.7b NY-NJ tunnel
Healthcare issue distorted by the Right!
Democrats stoke grassroots US healthcare campaign
Kennedy panel introduces health bill
Senate Dems to start work next week on health care
WE already discussed how critical all this is to our future. Obama's Big Health Care Test
The future of America is stake here. I am increasingly angry as I see how much Bush ignored the average American and our America while instigating war we could not afford around the world. We can not sustain our current course. It is unsustainable as Obama says and it damn sure is. Rising costs are leading an increasing number to catastrophe. We cannot fend off this run away train any longer. Can Health Overhaul Heal the Economy?
Everyone involved with the health care industry at least say they are on board. They have pledged $2 trillion in cuts over the next ten years. I have my doubts. We must have lower costs, improved quality, and consumer choice while providing while providing better care without increasing our Debt. That too I would like to see but any way you look at it, it is critical to our future that we do it and do it now.
62% of all foreclosures are due to sickness and rampant medical costs. 92% of those were due to what is called "the under insured".With 42 million in this country with no insurance whatsoever and more than 1 million foreclosures by year end 2008 I understand why Obama gave Congress 6 to 7 weeks to come up with a workable plan. Can they do it? If you read the prior link you know they can.
With an estimated $1 trillion cost for 10 years for the new health care plan it sounds prohibitive. However think about the prohibitive cost to the country of not doing this! Unemployment is now at a record 9.8%. More than 6 million have lost their jobs since the down turn began in 2007. There have been more than 1 million home foreclosures by year end 2008 and with 325,000 last month the lowest in years there is no end in sight. The situation is dire. The time to do this is now!
To make health care succeed we need the Jewish community behind us. Obama had a great speech while in Egypt. However it is going to be tough to get Israel and the Jewish community behind this plan after the tough speech he gave in Cairo and to get a health care plan that a rapidly growing number of our population needs. This going to get much worse not better.
In Closing knowing how critical this is why are we letting Republicans hold affordable Health care hostage? Fixing health care is the most important part of fixing the economy according to Obama and I totally agree. It is the plan that is in question. Will a public plan work (Government financed) ? Single payer is off the table but it is the only option for many. Single-payer health care - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia There is no way we can count on the medical industry or the insurance companies to regulate themselves for us as is the plan.
It is the timing of these big stories for Obama to hide what the Republicans have created as a big story to use against Obama and that is bringing Gitmo detainees to America for trial and possible imprisonment! First Guantanamo inmate transferred to US for trial

While Obama was in Normandy commending our past his plan for our future was unveiled: Obama's health care plan!

As you know, it has only been three days since Obama made his first of a kind speech explaining to Islam and the world that we were their friends their equals. We were all seeking respect and humanity while fighting those who want to take it from us all. The next day he was in Germany explaining the same while also visiting Buchenwald a notorious Nazi death camp.
Yesterday he was in France where he commemorated allied troops for their courage and bravery in an allied effort that began by storming the beaches In Normandy France. While there commemorating our soldiers bravery in the past his Health care plan you will see as critical to America's future as we know it.
While he was in Normandy speaking on the Anniversary of D Day his plan at home for a comprehensive health care plan was being unveiled. His weekly radio address yesterday given while he was in Normandy and it was about overhauling Health care. He is dead on when he says there is an urgent need to to reform our health care system. He gave Congress 7 weeks which sounded too fast to me but I found out a doable plan was already developed a couple of years ago. Obama's Big Health Care Test

A No Brainer: Bush's Health Care Proposal or John Edwards?
A No Brainer: Bush's Health Care Proposal or John Edward's? Democrats must hold off until we can implement a real program!
First I have to say that I for one am sick of being threatened with passing inadequate Bush Proposals or suffer the consequences. As you know, we suffer the consequences every time his proposals that benefit everyone but those who really need them. we must ignore his health proposal until we get a Democratic proposal and one that really helps those that need it.
Bush has proposed a major shift in tax policy that would for the first time treat health insurance costs as taxable income."Today, the tax code unfairly penalizes people who do not get health insurance through their job," said Bush, who will visit a hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and will be meeting with health care experts at the White House next week.
"If you buy health insurance on your own, you pay much more after taxes than if you get it through your job," he said. "I proposed to end this unfair bias in the tax code by creating a standard tax deduction for every American who has health insurance, whether they get it through their job or on their own."
Bush wants a tax deduction of $7,500 for individuals and $15,000 for families regardless of whether they buy their own health insurance or receive medical coverage at work.If passed by Congress, the proposal would be the first time that workers could get a tax break for medical insurance costs. But it also would be the first time that some employer-provided health care benefits would be taxed. Health care benefits provided by companies are currently exempt from income and payroll taxes. http://www.cnn.com/...
Why doesn't anybody call him on this? He brags of a tax break but does not say he is going to make your employer contributions, taxable. This is not a benefit to you but rather it seems to be another benefit for business owners. Compare that Bullshit proposal with John Edwards idea!
I don't really look at it this way but John Edwards Health Care proposal is said to be embracing a position that has been political suicide in the past by admitting he would raise taxes.
Unless I am missing something and if I am you will let me know, I don't look at stopping the tax Breaks to the wealthy as a tax increase and I think the majority, the average American who does not benefit from this warped tax cuts that Bush insists on making permanent will look at it the same way. Is there something else I haven't heard?
Anyway as you probably know by now he is proposing something that is way over due. He is calling for Quality Health Care coverage for everyone in what is being called the first major domestic policy initiative from a Democratic White House hopeful.
I happen to agree with that analysis and believe it is about time we start hearing concrete differences and ideas coming from our Democratic Presidential hopefuls.
The so called tax increase would pay for the plan's cost of up to $120 billion a year. Edwards' proposal would require that every business provide health care coverage for employees or help them pay for it and thus every American would have insurance.
I agree with Edwards proposal 100%. It is far superior to anything I have heard in the past and I agree that it will be cheaper for families and businesses to have insurance coverage while providing health care to the nation's 47 million uninsured.
Affordable Health care for all is said to be the number one domestic issue of our time and after getting control of our America again I can agree with that. What do you think?
John Edwards to me is setting the standard by taking on the big issues important to most average Americans and that is Iraq and health care. His plan would free up money for health care coverage by abolishing President Bush's tax cuts for people who make more than $200,000 a year and by having the government collect more back taxes.
He has my vote but of course his idea immediately opened him to criticism that he's a tax-and-spender in the mold of Walter Mondale. Again unless I am missing something I do not think of John Edwards as a tax and spend Liberal but rather as a progressive with good solutions to our problems.
As you know the idea of universal health care is not new. Schwarzenegger has proposed it for California and Romney has proposed it for Massachusetts. Romney's plan is proving to make more expensive than he led people to believe and may prove to be inequitable to those who need it the most.
I know Edwards is well insured in contrast to most of us but I believe that what John Edwards is proposing is a winner. After having his own personal experience with our current health care system bureaucracy after being frustrated dealing with it when his wife was suffering from breast cancer I believe he can now speak from experience and being in the position he is in, should have the answers to our health care system.
His plan also would provide government-funded insurance to all adults under the poverty line and all children and parents under 250 percent of the poverty line, which is about $50,000 for a family of four. The Edwards campaign is still working on other cost estimates, but says the goal would be to keep the cost to 5 percent to 7 percent for middle-income Americans. Love it! He would try to clamp down on rising costs with tax credits, expanded government programs like Medicaid and the State Children's Health Insurance Program, and changes to insurance laws to require coverage for all regardless of pre-existing conditions or other factors. And he would create nonprofit purchasing pools -- across a small area or maybe even several states -- so that consumers would have a way to buy an affordable and high quality plan. http://www.cnn.com/...
I really believe these are all fantastic proposals and would love to see them come to fruition. As you know, expanding Government programs like Medicaid and the State Children's Health Insurance Program, and changes to insurance laws to require coverage for all regardless of pre-existing conditions or other factors is an idea whose time has come.
As you know, it flies in the face of what Bush is proposing in his 2008 Budget proposal and it has already given birth to other ideas by potential Democratic Presidential nominees. This all adds up to a win, win for Average Americans. http://www.dailykos.com/...

Homeless Dumping continues this time "a Quadriplegic" as Bush cuts health care once again!

Homeless Dumping continues this time "a Quadriplegic" as Bush declares great economy and cuts health care once again! What the hell?
I really find this disgusting! I say it often but I refuse to believe that our social system is so problematic and obviously so but Bush ignorantly goes on TV and says "his" economy is in great shape. As he did again in pushing his 2008 budget, he goes on to propose another cut in Health care and the needy, his so called unfunded liabilities. This is abhorrent and unconscionable.
The last time homeless dumping was an issue I posted a story on it in hopes of making it an issue here and getting some traction with it. http://www.dailykos.com/...
I have to wonder who all these people are that he is surrounded by that are cheering him? Where does he find all these wealthy and millionaires besides creating them and perpetuating them by giving them back their tax contributions? He is not talking about my economy when he brags about how good it is.! Last fall when I first wrote about this I used this one small example of homeless dumping and our problematic health care system to illustrate why we had to get back Congress. It is painfully obvious that it does not matter as long as the chief idiot is in charge.
In the past I have posted as others have done, on how bad things are getting for average Americans. In the past I have posted on the nightmare of healthcare for average Americans. This following story though absolutely astounded me but what is the answer? It is not right to throw those medically in need on skid row if they do not have insurance. What do we do? Authorities had launched a criminal investigation last October into suspected dumping of homeless people on Skid Row after police witnessed ambulances leaving five people on a street there during the weekend.
The city attorney's office was reviewing police videotapes and photographs of the five suspected dumping cases to determine whether the patients were falsely imprisoned during their transfer and whether the hospital, Los Angeles Metropolitan Medical Center, violated any laws regarding the treatment of patients.
What the hell is it all worth? It continues and this is only one area in the entire country? Today I hear this: This is even worse! How friggen low can they go and get away with it?
A hospital van dropped off a paraplegic man on Skid Row, allegedly leaving him crawling in the street with nothing more than a soiled gown and a broken colostomy bag, police said. Witnesses who said they saw the incident Thursday wrote down a phone number on the van and took down its license-plate number, which helped detectives connect the vehicle to Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, the Los Angeles Times reported on its Web site.
Detectives were mortified as I am and I am sure you are too but again, what the hell is it worth? Their is no mission around and I know from the last story that it was investigated but how the hell do they get away with this and how the hell does Bush get away with calling his mess a success? http://www.foxnews.com/...
