We knew like everything else in Bush's cabinet everything was political and ultimately controlled by the Decider who has immunity so nothing of consequence will be learned. All Rove and Miers can be questioned on is the firing of the 9 attorneys. We know the firings were Political as they disagreed with Bush but it will be denied and the lies simply continued. I did not like the firings but that is the least of what I want to know!

This is sick! David Rivken a lawyer who served in the Justice Department and the White House under Presidents Reagan and George H. W. Bush. said when compared to past wars Bush and US behavior was exemplary! Exemplary? WTF? Compared to what? Who? Are we talking about Mussolini, Hitler, Tojo? Gassing Jews? Killing American and allied prisoners by Japan and others? Rivken's idiocy

Exemplary? It was sickening and worse than anything I have ever seen from an American President! Is Rivkin saying we have had Presidents in past wars that have done worse? Rivken is an idiot. I hate liars I mean lawyers to start with but having worked for Reagan and Daddy Bush his word is worthless! Bush's damage was only minimized by fears of comparisons to Hitler and worse. Nothing would have been beneath him if he was not concerned with being stopped and his Legacy!

Bush was far from Exemplary! I want to know why he ignored all good advice to not attack Iraq! I want to know the truth about the Governments anthrax attacks! Who was the treasonist that outed Valerie Plame? I am convinced it came right from Bush the decider as he once bragged "nothing of consequence happens without his okay"

This is potentially huge! Harriet Miers could be the weak link, the lynch pin to opening the Pandora's Box of deceit deception, lies and crimes against humanity and our Constitution that was the Bush mis Administration! If reasonable doubt is cast as to the truth or out right lies determined the entire mess that was the Bush Administration can be opened. The entire can of worms! He may be immune but his legacy will be determined once and for all! 9/11, the Patriot Act, Anthrax attacks, wiretapping, the farce of 9/11 commission Hearings, meetings at the White House with the Taliban, the meetings at the White House with the oil companies to determine future oil policy. The possibilities are endless. Bush may be immune but investigating the truth of lies and destruction could go on for fifty years if we had that long and his legacy will be determined instantly!

With Rove's proven record of lies and deceit going back to day one in the Nixon Administration along with the fact that even by Bush's father he has been rewarded for being a division causing underhanded Liar I refuse to believe he is even allowed to talk and should at the very least be censured to his destructive lies if doing the right thing for America mattered at all! You need a laugh so first the hilarious perfect political joke for today!

While walking down the street one day a US senator is tragically hit by a truck and dies.
His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entranc
e.
“Welcome to heaven,” says St. Peter. “Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see, so we’re not sure what to do with you.”
“No problem, just let me in,” says the man.

“Well, I’d like to, but I have orders from higher up. What we’ll do is have you spend one day in hell and one in heaven. Then you can choose where to spend eternity.”

“Really, I’ve made up my mind. I want to be in heaven,” says the senator.

“I’m sorry, but we have our rules.”

And with that, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell. The doors open and he finds himself in the middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a clubhouse and standing in front of it are all his friends and other politicians who had worked with him.

Everyone is very happy and in evening dress. They run to greet him, shake his hand, and reminisce about the good times they had while getting rich at the expense of the people.

They play a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster, caviar and champagne.

Also present is the devil, who really is a very friendly guy who has a good time dancing and telling jokes. They are having such a good time that before he realizes it, it is time to go.

Everyone gives him a hearty farewell and waves while the elevator rises…

The elevator goes up, up, up and the door reopens on heaven where St. Peter
is waiting for him.

“Now it’s time to visit heaven.”

So, 24 hours pass with the senator joining a group of contented souls moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns.

“Well, then, you’ve spent a day in hell and another in heaven. Now choose your eternity.”
The senator reflects for a minute, then he answers: “Well, I would never have said it before, I mean heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be better off in hell.”

So St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell.
Now the doors of the elevator open and he’s in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and garbage.

He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it in black bags as more trash falls from above.

The devil comes over to him and puts his arm around his shoulder.

“I don’t understand,” stammers the senator. “Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and clubhouse, and we ate lobster and caviar, drank champagne, and danced and had a great time. Now there’s just a wasteland full of garbage and my friends look miserable. What happened?”

The devil looks at him, smiles and says,“Yesterday we were campaigning…… Today you voted.”

It was actually already attempted by citizens in Iowa and Des Moines police arrested four people Friday who attempted a citizen's arrest of former White House adviser Karl Rove. Rove was in Des Moines to speak at a fundraiser. A news release says a retired minister and three members of the Des Moines Catholic Workers community were cited for trespassing and released. The four accused Rove of election fraud and conspiracy to commit offense or to defraud the United States in the time before the Iraq war. The arrest complaint also says they accused Rove of treason, sedition and subversive activities for fraudulent acts leading to the deaths of 300,000 Iraqi civilians and 4,000 U.S. Military personnel. Kirk Brown and Mona Shaw, two of the four arrested Friday, attempted a similar arrest last March when Rove spoke at the University of Iowa. attempted citizens arrest of Rove

* I understand this has already been attempted on John Bolton and Condi Rice. I do not see any of them ever being held accountable but like the WW2 Nazi's I am having increasing hope that people will wake up some day and hold the perpetrators of this still just developing nightmare even though it will come too late to affect the outcome!
