Somalia offers al-Shabab amnesty, Al Shabab vows another Afghanistan

Somalia offers al-Shabab amnesty: Move follows withdrawal of opposition fighters from capital, which they claim was a "strategic step": Somali forces have reinforced their hold on Mogadishu, but al-Shabab called its retreat a "tactical move"

UN: Al-Shabab Weakened, Fragmented: The U.N.'s top diplomat for Somalia said Wednesday that there are significant improvements in the security situation in Mogadishu after the surprise withdrawal on Saturday by Al-Shabab insurgents from the city. Augustine Mahiga said the fighters have been weakened by national and African Union forces, and that they have split up as they pull back from the Somali capital. Ambassador Mahiga told reporters via a teleconference from Mogadishu that al-Shabab's so-called tactical retreat has fragmented the fighters into three groups. "One column going southwards, another going westwards, and another going northwards - and they are still on the move," said Mahiga. "This already weakens their consolidated strength." That is a pipe dream, they just do not get it!

Al Shabab leader vows to defeat a superior force: A leader from the Somali militant group al-Shabab says the group will pursue a guerrilla strategy like that seen in Afghanistan after their withdrawal from the capital and yes they did split but...

You better be very concerned that they did split and some are not headed to Yemen or merely waiting for the people to get their food so they can kill the people and take it?
Government troops do not care why Al Shabab pulled out of Mogadishu? Al Shabab has fought hard and strong there for their gains even amongst other rebel groups. They did not just pull out for the UN and the starving people. The Government is now occupying Al Shabab bases and touting it as a victory. They better be very concerned. Remember it is easier to attack than to defend.

We are watching many countries in the Middle East erupt all at the same time and I am a bit perplexed at the warped amount of attention and coverage given. Syria is being given a lot of attention and Yemen not so much even now that it is openly erupting. I have to believe that is because Syria is Israel and Iran's neighbor. A democracy movement right there is no threat to Israel but it is to Iran.

However Syria is Sunni and Iran Shiite so you may think their interference in helping Syria kill civilians and quell the Democracy movement perplexing. There has been a proxy war being fought in Yemen for quite a while now and Iran has been in the forefront of it. What is happening in Yemen is of utmost importance to Iran, us, and the world.

With our air raids in the East, civil war looming in the north, pro-independence protests in the south and al-Qaeda in the background " background? where is Anwar Al- Awlaki?" threatening a wave of attacks on America, Yemen is today’s war. To top it off Yemen is running out of water! There is more Al Qaeda there than in Afghanistan, why are we in Afghanistan and not Yemen?

Somalia will be the next war as those Al Qaeda who did not flee the existing wars to help in Yemen have gone to Somalia! Al Qaeda has always been in Yemen but it has now become Al Qaeda central. Their principle targets are Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and the US, allies and allies in this so called war on terror.

The Saudi and Yemen branches of Al Qaeda have joined forces and many outsiders are moving in to join the fight. We must act in kind! Yemen is on the verge of being a failed state as you already know. Yemen is on the Abyss and we must help them for own good! What to do? They have been dealing with terrorism and insurgencies for years! They are not a failed state but well on their way and may be tomorrow! Their attention has been on survival as a country.

As many of you know by now my prime concern in Yemen was the interference by Iran in trying to get Shiite dominance there. Bush freed Iran up to pursue her version of new middle East order by interfering wherever she could while Bush was doing the same thing with his Middle East Democratization program.

The goal now absolutely is to be the country who decides which direction the new Middle East (dis)order will take. Bush started it by attacking Iraq to get into the middle east to destabilize it and start the new middle east order the idiot said God told him to do now it will be up to Iran and Saudi Arabia at least up front fight it out whether this goes the Iranian Shiite way or the Saudi Arabian Sunni way and do not forget Israel!

In Yemen once again the Iranian Revolutionary Guard is the instigator. They are ferrying weapons through Eritrea to Yemen. They are now avoiding the Arabian Peninsula as Saudi Arabia has instituted a blockade along the coast of Yemen. Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has also transported Lebanese Hezbollah fighters to fight with the rebels.

As you know, Saudi Arabia is also there fighting the Iranian backed Houthi rebels. So far there has been no direct confrontation. However I absolutely see what I have been warning about since Bush diverted from Afghanistan to attack Iraq and get back in the middle east to create a new middle east (dis)order! This is going to be total middle east war for a new middle east order like it or not, Sunni against Shiite.

It is looking like Yemen is going to be the first country down! The Middle East is right to be concerned. Yemen is going through severe domestic turmoil due to the violent activities of Al Qaeda, Houthi rebels in the north and the Southern Movement in the south. The remaining Jews are threatened with slaughter by the Shiite. How much longer can Yemen hold on? What is next?

Al Shabab in Somalia and Al Qaeda in Yemen are both reinforced by those fleeing the fight in Iraq, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Somalia is a failed State and Yemen is rapidly headed towards being a failed State. They are perfect havens for Al Qaeda to set up new training camps in lawless regions.

Yemeni Al Qaeda previously sent arms and help to Al Shabab in their fight in Somalia. Al Shabab is reciprocating sending fighters to Yemen to help Yemeni Al Qaeda. Supposedly the so called experts say the three forces operating to destabilize Yemen from the North, South, and East will not join forces but you bet they will! Al Qaeda has been leaving Iraq, Afghanistan, and Mauritania; to use Yemen as their new base we in turn better meet them there with some kind of force. This entire so called terrorism war is barely beginning. This is not a war to end all wars but the war of all wars!

Be very concerned about what is happening in Yemen, Somalia, and the Gulf of Aden, the new front in the so called war on terror! Remember, it is better to attack than defend and Al Shabab can now go back on the attack in Mogadishu but knowing they did great damage to their reputation by starving Somali women and children a betting man would believe they left a skeleton crew in Somalia and the bulk are headed to Yemen to join the fight II would be watching the Gulf of Aden and other countries where they may be going to get to Yemen.

Al Shabab leaving Somalia, Mogadishu, regrouping, or heading to Yemen?

Spokesmen: Islamist militia leaving Somalia: Islamist fighters who officials feared would attack famine victims pulled out from many bases in the capital overnight, a move that could speed up the delivery of humanitarian services, the prime minister said Saturday. A spokesman for the African Union peacekeeping force said the militants had blended into the civilian population, making them even harder to fight. And the al-Qaida-linked group insisted it was merely a tactical withdrawal to launch a counterattack."We shall fight the enemy wherever they are," al-Shabab spokesman Ali Mohamed Rage told a local radio station. You better be very concern they are not headed to Yemen or merely waiting for the people to get their food so they can kill the people and take it?

Government troops do not care why Al Shabab pulled out of Mogadishu? Al Shabab has fought hard and strong there for their gains even amongst other rebel groups. They did not just pull out for the UN and the starving people. The Government is now occupying Al Shabab bases and touting it as a victory. They better be very concerned. Remember it is easier to attack than to defend.

Well look at this. Fighting erupts in Somali capital after Al Shabab supposedly leaves: Fighting erupted on Sunday in Mogadishu between government troops and al Shabab insurgents a day after the rebels said they were leaving the Somali capital and the government declared it controlled most of the city, residents and officials said.

We are watching many countries in the Middle East erupt all at the same time and I am a bit perplexed at the warped amount of attention and coverage given. Somalian arrested in Gulf of Aden for aiding Al Shabab in Somalia and al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula: Next front in the war on terror is heating up

Somali terror suspect in US court: Ahmed Abdulkadir Warsame was seized in the Gulf of Aden in April and was then interrogated for two months on a US warship before his trial in America. He is accused of providing support to the Yemeni-based militant group al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) and also to al-Shabab militants.

'Forty militants' killed in Yemen: Forty militants have been killed in two days of air strikes by Yemeni forces in the southern province of Abyan, Yemen's state news agency Saba says. Two soldiers were also killed as Yemeni troops retaliated against al-Qaeda militants who stormed army camp. The unrest is part of widening chaos in Yemen since protests broke out in February

Tens of thousands of Yemenis flee violence in south: Some 54,000 Yemenis have fled the flash point southern province of Abyan since militants took over its capital last month, a government official said on Sunday, as fighting intensified in the area.

We are watching many countries in the Middle East erupt all at the same time and I am a bit perplexed at the warped amount of attention and coverage given. White House considers Yemen drone strikes, officials say: what do they think they've been doing for the past year?

White House considers Yemen drone strikes, officials say Not for nothing but they have been quietly doing this for many months if not years but Yemen and the US better be careful and keep US boots off the ground or face dire peril. The worst of the worst are in this area!

Report: US gears up for attack in Yemen after botched plane attack This stepped up campaign especially using unmanned drones would be a way for Yemen to go after the three pronged attack on Yemen coming from Iran, the Houthi secessionists, and Al Qaeda.

Supposedly the so called experts say the three forces operating to destabilize Yemen from the North, South, and East will not join forces but you bet they will! Al Qaeda has been leaving Iraq, Afghanistan, and Mauritania; to use Yemen as their new base we in turn better meet them there with force.

I understand the so called Al Qaeda headquarters in Yemen was just raided killing one Al Qaeda. There have been two admitted attacks already by the US! The first according to Shiite Houthi rebels killed some 63 people including 28 children while injuring 90. Yemen reported it as 34 Al Qaeda killed! US air raids kill 63 civilians in SE Yemen

Most recently an attack on Anwar al Awlaqi the Yemeni American cleric linked to the Fort Hood attack! Al Awaqi is thought to have been killed in the attack. Yemeni air strike kills 30, targets home of cleric linked to Ft. Hood attack Imam tied to Ft. Hood shootings killed - Video News Live

Then we hear we have quietly stepped up air attacks in Yemen hunting down and killing Al Qaeda. It is no secret we have been discussing it and the fact that Iran's revolutionary guard is also there supporting Houthi rebels in an effort to get Shiite dominance. The attack on a packed air bus on Christmas day came from Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula; a terrorist cell led by a former personal secretary to Osama bin Laden and was in retaliation for recent attacks in Yemen by the US. There are promises that this was the first of many. I'm the first of many, warns airline 'bomber'

Despite 2 insurgencies and Al Qaeda Yemen is already in trouble. They are running out of water! Wells are down 65 feet per year, many wells have dried up and they can not grow food. They are rapidly running out of water and that problem too is now. Yemen water woes in the poorest Arab Nation

With our air raids in the East, civil war looming in the north, pro-independence protests in the south and al-Qaeda in the background threatening a wave of attacks on America, Yemen is today’s war. To top it off Yemen is running out of water! There is more Al Qaeda there than in Afghanistan why are we in Afghanistan and not Yemen?

US military intervention could strengthen Qaeda: Yemen Of course it will, haven't we learned anything?

When are we going to realize that so called terrorism is the head of the Hydra? You cut one off and many spring up in its place. No one in their right mind can really think they will quit. I have said it to many times but we are winning nothing. This is still barely beginning, will keep growing, and will equal all past great Religious wars. As you know, Religious wars are the longest and the dirtiest!

Yemen fertile ground for terror groups

US military intervention could strengthen Qaeda: Yemen

Despite 2 insurgencies and Al Qaeda Yemen is already in trouble. They are running out of water! Wells are down 65 feet per year, many wells have dried up and they can not grow food. They are rapidly running out of water and that problem too is now. Yemen water woes in the poorest Arab Nation

Yemen Battle Intensifies

Friday, January 01, 2010

Lieberman: Iraq was Yesterdays war Afghanistan is today's war and Yemen will be tomorrow’s war if we don't act. Too late!

As usual with our so called leaders we are a day late and a dollar short. We have ignored activities in Yemen for years. I have written about it numerous times and sometimes been criticized for it. That said it is too late to make Yemen a priority. Let me reiterate in part something I wrote last week! Yemen the first open battleground for new Middle East order

First, we hear we have quietly stepped up air attacks in Yemen hunting down and killing Al Qaeda.

While getting ready to say this I have to wonder why Cheney crawled back into his hole right now at this time? Is it because the airport security system that just failed was theirs? Is it because two of the leaders responsible for the attack were released from Gitmo by Cheney and Bush? They have failed the country from beginning to end. Anyway!

Al Qaeda ties of Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab: How deep do they go?
Yemen says may harbor up to 300 Qaeda suspects

Look at the total picture here that has become Yemen today as it sits in a crucial Middle East location for good and for bad everyone wants to control! There is a lot of activity there that has been attributed to Al Qaeda and their interests. I was surprised to learn that Yemen is Middle East nation, where Osama Bin Laden's father was born. Knowing all that you know my focus has been on Iran's interference in Yemen as they try to install Shiite dominance there and everywhere else in the Middle East.

It is looking like Yemen is going to be the first country down! Please watch the video, the Middle East is right to be concerned. Yemen is going through severe domestic turmoil due to the violent activities of Al Qaeda, Houthi rebels in the north and the Southern Movement in the south. The remaining Jews are threatened with slaughter by the Shiite.

Yemen is in a fight for its life! Al Qaeda wants it as the safe haven it has been for years. Saudi Arabia can not have a radicalized Shiite State there which is what Iran is trying to set up with the Houthi. We can not allow any of it to happen.
