The Global Pressures of Population and Access to Clean Water: The US Census Bureau’s World Clock says that the population of the world today is estimated at 7.008 billion people, while projections show that the world could reach the 9 billion marker by 2050. In the last of its series called “7 Billion: Conversations That Matter,” Aspen Institute’s Global Health and Development today hosted a panel of experts based in Africa and the United States on the interconnectedness of gender issues, family planning, population and access to safe water.
The point of the series was to ask questions about why it mattered that the world was passing the 7 billion mark, and the questions today in Washington were appropriately big: Will water wars replace oil wars? What are the solutions to expand water and sanitation to the 2.5 billion people who don’t have it? And just how many people can the world support in an equitable fashion?

Freshwater rivers and lakes are subject to seasonal floods and droughts that can limit their availability for people and for agriculture. At present only 5% of arable land is irrigated. Now scientists have for the first time been able to carry out a continent-wide analysis of the water that is hidden under the surface in aquifers. Researchers from the British Geological Survey and University College London (UCL) have mapped in detail the amount and potential yield of this groundwater resource across the continent.
"Where there's greatest ground water storage is in northern Africa, in the large sedimentary basins, in Libya, Algeria and Chad," she said. "The amount of storage in those basins is equivalent to 75m thickness of water across that area - it's a huge amount." Who would have thought? Water, Water, Water — Libya’s Hidden Asset: The Great Man-Made River, as the largest water transport project ever undertaken, has been described as the “eighth wonder of the world”. It carries more than five million cubic metres of water per day across the desert to coastal areas, vastly increasing the amount of arable land. The total cost of the huge project is expected to exceed $25 billion (US).

The Life and Secrets of Water: Experts in the scientific communities as well as homeopathy and holistic sciences have proven the “Memory” of water; the carrying capacity of water for “energy,” and the ability of water to “remember”.

Experts realize that water retains information, even after the most stringent purification and filtration processes. This is termed the energy signature or vibrational imprint. The vibrational imprint of toxins (mercury, lead, chromium, etc.) can be picked up by the water molecule and are in turn passed on to living organisms. Scientists say enough water to fill earths oceans 3 times deep in the earth, that should scare the hell out of everyone

 Scientists say there is lots and lots of water trapped deep in the Earth:Scientists have long theorized a mass of hidden water was somewhere below, but a group of geologists from Northwestern University are the first to offer evidence.The geologists found the water while studying a vast stretch of Earth's mantle called the transition zone. The vast underground region extends across much of North America.

 The water, enough to fill the oceans three times over, is hiding in a mineral called ringwoodite some 400 miles beneath Earth's crust. "Geological processes on the Earth's surface, such as earthquakes or erupting volcanoes, are an expression of what is going on inside the Earth, out of our sight," Jacobsen said.

This scares the hell out  of me. Look what we have done to absolutely everything we lay our hands on. The core of the planet? Look at what we have done to the air and land. Look what we have done to the earth with fracking and our lust for energy. Will the absolute destruction wrought by Fracking matter in the end?

China’s pollution hits critical stage

  PHOTOS: Shanghai’s Unbelievable Pollution Problem Started The Week Badly, Ended Worse:  For the seventh day this month, Shanghai officials have warned children and the elderly to stay inside in a city where 24 hours exposed to the off-the-charts pollution would have hazardous consequences to one’s health.

 Hundreds of flights and sporting events have been cancelled, while face masks and air purifiers sold out in stores. All week, the pollution level hovered at “heavily” and “severely” polluted, according to Shanghai’s Air Quality Index, at up to 31 times the recommended levels.Eerie photographs of Shanghai show a city in a yellow haze:

  

  Super smog hits north China city:  Visibility shrank to less than half a football field and small-particle pollution soared to a record 40 times higher than an international safety standard in one northern Chinese city as the region entered its high-smog season. Winter typically brings the worst air pollution to northern China because of a combination of weather conditions and an increase in the burning of coal for homes and municipal heating systems, which usually start on a specific date. For the large northern city of Harbin, the city's heating systems kicked in Sunday, and on Monday visibility there was less than 50 meters, according to state media.

Now they are also expressing disquiet over the scarcity of information about the environment available to them.

*The bad news is that the country's hell-bent drive towards industrialization has brought in its train a host of collateral problems, not the least of which is pollution. Last month Beijing's air pollution soared past levels considered hazardous by the World Health Organization (WHO).

*Prior to that, the government often played down the pollution in Beijing, insisting it was merely fog, despite evidence to the contrary that was plain for all to see. Earlier this year, following public pressure resulting from hourly air-quality readings first published in 2011 by the U.S. embassy in Beijing, which Chinese authorities had previously denounced as "foreign interference," the municipal officials took notice. 

Pollution in China is one aspect of the broader topic of environmental issues in China. Various forms of pollution have increased as China has industrialized, which has caused widespread environmental and health problems. According to the World Bank in 2007, 16 of the world's 20 most polluted cities are in China.[1][2]

I was overwhelmed thinking about the dire state of the environment in China in every respect then I was thinking wait a minute Fukushima's nuclear fall out has greatly affected Russia, Japan, and the entire world not to speak of Chernobyl.

 Russia has made many environmental disaster area's in many former USSR countries. Much of South America is a mess, the United States has it's great amount of guilt and is now concentrating and fracking our frigging country to pieces for gas and oil.

Canada is doing its share with its grotesque oil sands in Alberta that they want to pipe through our heartland and its aquifers and wildlife migratory areas.  I saw countries in South America where it was impossible to eat the food grown as it is in areas of China. These areas are all over the world.

We don't even want to get into the ocean with its numerous growing dead spots and continent size garbage swirls. Remember the pirate problem down around Somalia? We created them. At one time we had permission from tribal elders to dump all our nuclear and electronic waste in what was there fishing area and we killed everything forcing them into piracy. What we don't know about our pirates. We do this all over the world!

China was the focus at the outset but every continent every country is doing its share to destroy the only planet, the only place we have to live and the powers to be could care less that they are destroying it for their gain. I am disgusted!

It is time to replace Capitalism with Democracy?

For years because of Bush's fascist agenda many of us said this is not a Democracy. A Democracy only in name to facilitate a hidden agenda. Now we hear from Republicans that this is no longer a Democracy because of Obama and the socialist agenda he inherited from Bush. Anyway you look at it this is not a Democracy!

Is it supposed to be a Democracy just because they make you leave your pen once every couple of years to go out and vote for those with the money to buy their position to force the agenda that keeps those corporations in control that really run this country? Is it Democracy that allows the top 1% to own more than the bottom 95% combined?

Would a Democracy allow their fellow citizens to go without the basic needs of any human being let alone right here in the USA, Food Shelter and clothing? Homes are still being foreclosed at a rate of 1 every 7.5 seconds. This is a Democracy in action? Is the health insurance Industry spending 1.5 million dollars a day to control Congress and kill health care reform so they can keep control over you Democracy in action?

No! It is capitalism run amok, Capitalism is controlling our Democracy. This is not a Democracy. Democracy is a system of government in which either the actual governing is carried out by the people governed or the power to do so is granted by them. There are two principles that any definition of democracy includes, equality and freedom. Would not equality dictate that the top 1% take care of those who are in trouble? Or is it because Capitalism rules Democracy that they have the "freedom" to ignore Equality and Democracy? Democracy

Capitalism as a system developed incrementally from the 16th century in Europe. Capitalism typically refers to an economic and social system in which the means of production are privately controlled. Controlling it is is a matter of politics and policy. Capitalism

Politics and Democracy are supposed to be controlling Capitalism. Capitalism is not supposed to be controlling Democracy! Capitalism has run amok and as you know is controlling Democracy. Our Government just bailed out Capitalism and there was nothing Democratic about it. Capitalism owns our Democracy and our Government.We the people have been left to our own demise. It is time to control Capitalism with Democracy so for once we are all equal!

As we watch world events every day Syria has taken center stage in our fight for the future and attempt at world dominance as we destroy the planet. I have been in a funk watching the Syrian people being sacrificed for nothing. This is a waste and is way to old. This is way beyond the trivial battles being waged by the common man. When the powers to be are ready the sky is going to fall but on who?

The day I started high school and all my world endeavors I saw what was happening and my friends thought I was crazy in 1970. It can no longer be denied!Not to get too involved now but after what has happened since Bush and our past as a warring depleting destructive country and all the crap happening right now I came to the conclusion that man is not the planets savior but his role is to bring the whole life cycle full swing and he is. Under Bush it was so hard to watch and it keeps getting worse. We are at a point in man and the planets life cycle called the nurturing stage "the end" if we do not take the right steps and we refuse to accept it.

Instead we just had the Gulf of Mexico now Japan and though the time where war is sustainable is over we continue to push for more and make this planet so that no one can live on it.

We hear there are millions of universes and since we are destroying ours you have to think someone knows of another planet for us somewhere. We can't be this stupid or so you have to hope.

If we have the space war no one supposedly wants but we are prepared for we are all stuck here. HAARP has been in progress for a century, do you remember when a couple years back the entire middle east went dead except for the US and Iraq? That was no accident.

Also remember around 2 years ago when China took down her own satellite to see if they can? Well Russia, China, and the US can and much worse. Just the other day a tiny piece of that junk had us afraid the space station was going to be hit and they were preparing for it.

In a nut shell if they have a space war and destroy each others satellites we are all stuck on mother earth that they are destroying.

So much is made of oil and weapons but whoever owns space owns the future. Take out the satellites and aircraft carriers are dead in the water like the rest of the navy and entire modern military. What is Donald Trump really up to? The best case scenario is that this paranoid, sociopathic liar, totally ignorant of history, government and the Constitution, and incapable of operating the complex levers of American presidential power will flame out – perhaps within first year or so of his first term. In this scenario, Republicans in Congress will recognize their own political peril in the 2018 elections if they seem complicit in his chaotic leadership. So they seize upon impeachment or the 25th Amendment and Mike Pence ultimately becomes president. That won’t please Democrats, but most will go along believing that Pence is less dangerous than Trump.

The worst case scenario is that Trump succeeds in his less than noble ambition to remake his America in the style of Vladimir Putin’s Russia. It is not so much that he admires Putin personally — he envies Putin’s almost absolute power. It can be argued that Trump has already begun to expand his power grab, by repeatedly attempting to undermine the credibility of the three institutions which have the capacity to put the brakes on his ambitions – the judiciary, the intelligence community and the news media. It is not simply that he disagrees with the decisions or public comments made by these institution’s members. He and his White House henchmen dispute their very right to challenge his authority.

I hope that given my lifetime as a journalist you won’t think I am being parochial when I express my horror that the president of the United States has declared the major news organizations of this country as “the enemy of the American people.”

I keep hearing rumors of being fascists so I thought it time to remind people that we already are and not just Russia and China. 

Fascism has become the rule of the day. We seem to have become a Fascist world as Nations prepare to fight for the future. Very scary! Greece, the United States, Russia, China, The world?

When Russia just annexed Crimea  they did so using the excuse that the Russians there were being marginalized and Russia must come to the rescue of her people. Using that excuse Russia can take whatever ex USSR country it wants so watch out as Putin races to make Russia great again.



Now I want to relist the 10 steps listed to end a Democracy as they pertain to us and Russia and you will agree.

1. Invoke a terrifying internal and external enemy. In our case The enemy is us! After 9/11 the Patriot act was passed, fear constantly pressed on us and Bush started his power grab.

2. Create a gulag . Once you have got everyone scared, the next step is to create a prison system outside the rule of law, FEMA Concentration camps! Russia has just been imprisoning everyone that calls Putin on his power grab, lies, and deception to make Russia great again or so he thinks.

3. Develop a thug caste: Private security even at times various Governmental agencies. The police get wore and worse!Putin has his motorcycle gang that travels with Putin and takes the lead in playing the heavies as they did in Moscow and again in Crimea.

4. Set up an internal surveillance system You know this one strikes home!

5. Harass citizens' groups

6. Engage in arbitrary detention and release

7. Target key individuals: Threaten civil servants

8. Control the press

9. Dissent equals treason: We know only Bushco could commit treason as they set up their new America and you watch Putin do what he wants and smugly justify it.

10. Suspend the rule of law: The John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007 gave the president new powers over the national guard. He can now send New York's national guard against another State if "He" deems necessary! In Russia there is Putin's law period and there are young hooligans picking up the flag and cheering for Putin.

Remember the 14 common threads of Fascism: keep the entire world in mind but particularly how everyone of them applies in America and Russia today, more so under Bush and Putin I think. This is scary!

The United States of Disarray;

                                           Forever Vigilant!

   Looking at today's unwinding horrors we will be facing long into the future. We watch Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, Pakistan, Iran, Israel, Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, Russia, China and Taiwan, North and South Korea, water pollution, air pollution, global warming, water wars, food wars, numerous future wars in the making, under Bush's war mongering I had been long convinced we had not had the defining moment of our time, our moment of extreme challenge.

    9/11 was not the defining moment of our time as we are told,that event has not occurred yet but that moment is coming and soon and it could very well be upon us. A lot of people tell me to get over Bush but the US and the world will never be able to as he upset US and world balance that will forever affect us all.


   We had the hope of Obama for 8 years but thanks to the Republican vow to make everything he tried to do to better the plight of the people fail our economy has improved and health care for all was implemented but Republicans because of their negative input constantly reminded us the the improvement was the slowest in history "their fault" and they plan on eliminating Health care for all.


   In steps the nightmare Donald Trump. Many of us were very concerned about Trump as soon as we knew he was going to run for President because he has a penchant for being loud arrogant ignorant and a flagrant liar saying whatever he wants to get his way. Most of what he says is a flat out lie but he does not care doubling down and making the lie even deeper. His childish antics and ignorance is something new to me.

      From what I can see the electoral college is only kept to steal an election for the Republican party. The people as a whole know the Democrats have faults but are there to make their lives better.

   Back in 2000 I thought the Republicans were done as a Political Party when they picked the Alcoholic worthless liar George Bush to be their leader. I was greatly dismayed with that stupid hanging chad crap and the Supreme court ultimately picking him as the next President of the united States. He was re-elected by the outdated Electoral College over Al Gore who the people had selected. You witnessed as did I Bush's illegal war in Iraq and his destruction of the US.

   Now the electoral College has interfered once more over-rode the will of the people and chose Trump to lead the nation to destruction and destroying Obama's legacy along with FDR's and every positive step ever taken ti further the American people.

   Trump  was not even sworn in yet and not only is Putin being credited with hacking the DNC flooding the air waves with lies about Hillary but he swears he likes the murderer Putin and he has already earned the Ire of China which is not hard to do but I am very concerned with this fool Trump's penchant to act without thinking and failing to engage brain before opening mouth.

   Now we also hear his sons are sitting beside him when ever he meets with world leaders. I for on think they are so they can keep an eye on Trump. Plus his daughter Ivanka we hear is going to be the first Lady as Trump's wife does not want to be, and it costs a million dollars a day for their security but I bet it is more like 10 million and they aren't worth a dime.

    We as a people, country, and world are in serious trouble as we proceed through the 21st century or so we hope.

* I am very concerned as to what the future has in store for us unless something Drastic happens to upset the cart our politicians have set for Republicans and their mis-leadership of us, the US, and the world.

Well we lost it as you know. While Politicians continue to play their childish games we have dropped our vigilance and put the wolf in charge of the coup. I am going to put something together today when I have a chance to illustrate why the worthless cheerleader was put in power and the eternal vigilance has been sidetracked. we are not a Democracy and this entire country and world wide mess is just beginning. Our eternal vigilance better be focused instantly on turning around what the Deciding life long loser cheerleader has well underway in his Fascist one world Government. I will be sending this update to Danny and ask him if he and Jerome have been reading the updates and links? If not they better because they are otherwise wasting their time. This has hit critical mass. I am sorry to say it but I have obviously been saying that too for years and wasting my breath.

First the latest example that Congress is useless and they will do as the Deciding Dictator tells them as he is the only one that matters. The White House must release its visitor logs and cannot hide behind a shield of privilege, a federal judge ruled Monday. The Bush administration has resisted public disclosure while it fights a lawsuit over alleged political influence by conservative Christian leaders. U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth concluded the information is part of the public record and is subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act as "agency records."

He ordered the Secret Service to produce records within 20 days. The White House claimed exclusive control of the documents, subject to the complete discretion of the president over their release. The White House and the Secret Service in 2006 signed an agreement that visitors to the White House complex were not subject to public disclosure. That "memorandum of understanding" was disclosed during legal action over the Abramoff records. Another federal judge in Washington ordered the release of Secret Service logs of visitors to Vice President Dick Cheney's office. Cheney claimed those logs were subject to executive privilege. This is really sickening. Bush just said hands off the CIA for destroying their torture tapes and that's that. Congress has proven over and over to be useless. This is no longer a Democracy but a hybrid Fascist Dictatorship in search of a forever war to implement a one world government. Tyranny, obstruction of Just, lying "the new truth" are all standard fare in this endeavor to destroy our America and emplace a one world Government. To that end this forever war is just beginning. All under "our eternal vigilance" and we better activate quickly to recover it as time is quickly running out!

This is worsened by the fact that some of us saw through Bush before he was elected and have had to watch the proven underhanded liar be handed everything he needed to follow his handlers plan. We know Bush is not bright enough to conjure this up himself! It was a setup from the beginning and will be right to the terrible end unless we the people who no longer matter can activate, come together, and stop this now!

I have said it so many times I am sick of saying it but We are no longer a Democracy or a Government of the People by the people for the people facilitated by society. We have in fact become a hybrid Fascist Dictatorship, a Government of the Politicians by the lobbyists and the affluent by the legal system facilitated by the media.

Let me give you some highlights of this nightmare as the set up unfolded right before our blind trusting eyes as we were reeled in hook line and sinker. Whoever the real powers are behind all this we will never know but they have had the plan for years but lacked the right raw material to push it through. All of a sudden they saw the obvious! the life long loser became electable despite the fact that he lied about his military service and the majority of his life
He got the teacher of underhanded dirty Politics to get him nominated despite the fact he could barely talk and was an obvious liar. Now they needed a VP so what a surprise, the real decider was chosen to pick a VP and Cheney the little Nazi chose himself. The set up begins!

He stole the first election we didn't elect him. 9/11 was allowed to happen so Bushco could get the country and the world behind what he was about to do. with fighting terrorism as his excuse he now could proceed to emplace this so called new world order with a one world Government. To do so he needed more power and an excuse to get back into the middle east. Passing the Patriot Act gave him the excuse to steal legally and illegally all the power he needed and he is now the sole decider and congress, the Senate, we the people, we are all powerless to stop him!

With the power he has diverted from the so called war on terror as he finally found a lying excuse people would fall for so he could get our military back into the middle east. As you are witnessing, he will not leave until he lies and finds a way to start his war with Iran as was only one part of the original plan set up before him in 1996. Attacking Iran is a given and I expect it undoubtedly before his time is up so he can take total control over every aspect of our lives and our America. This will initiate his necessary WW3 but I don't believe it will turn out as planned unless the top secret HAARP program is to disable the rest of the worlds satellites. Despite what most think as blunders everything is going like clock work. There is no way I see elections for 2008 unless they are to be stolen once again to finish this ill plan. If Bush was to attack Iran first and get this going full swing the decider will stay in office and see this nightmare one world Government scenario through!

The time is now for someone to step forward and even though it will be laughed off like every other outed reality and this nightmare will only continue. If our America and our Democracy is to be regained we must convert our "eternal vigilance" to "eternal action" Immediately!

    Fascism is Exploding in Greece, Raising Fears About Neo-Nazi Rule:   Greece, the birthplace of democracy, could be heading down a path toward fascism. Since the beginning of the global recession, there has been much news coverage of the economic turmoil in Greece, and the rise of far-right organizations that blame immigrants and the European Union for the country's problems.

 

  Many have come to fear that one such group, Golden Dawn, a radical party with a neo-Nazi ideology, will soon gain enough momentum to become the ruling party in Greece.

Fascism has become the rule of the day. We seem to have become a Fascist world as Nations prepare to fight for the future. Very scary! Greece, the United States, Russia, The world?

I feel we must repost this as, of late we have been losing more rights and the state has been increasingly gaining more control of us. There are those that mention a police state, nationalism, fascism, and those that feel we are stretching it a bit. It is a fact and it did not start with Obama but 100% with Bush and Cheney. Obama has not let powers go as he said he would but has been expounding on them instead.

 "We've slipped away from a true Republic," Paul said. "Now we're slipping into a fascist system where it's a combination of government and big business and authoritarian rule and the suppression of the individual rights of each and every American citizen."

It really irks me that Republicans started as a result of Rove, Cheney and Bush to accuse Democrats of doing what they themselves are doing. It really peeves me that it is still continuing successfully because it goes unchecked.

 Remember too that it was Chief Justice Roberts a Republican who gave our Nation to corporations stupidly saying they are people too and can give as much money as they want to control what they want. That finished our Democracy off and short of full armed Revolution I see no turning it around. It is time to replace Capitalism with Democracy!

Having written my own Doctrine of fact/Bush uncovered 3 years ago. http://www.anaveragepatriot.com/... I believe you read it so ignore it but I told you I had the unequivocal answers to all those questions and more.

1. the war on poverty fell victim to Bush's new societal order. It is not a concern of his. He still has a way to go in implementing his plan but as you see, he is well on his way. He still has a way to go in lowering the plight of the lower classes. With his laws passed to their demise and to help the rich and the poor getting poorer with food stamp use alone up 33% since he took office, he has done a good job but not for us.

2. Human rights too is no concern to Bush and counter to his new societal order in which his illegal's play an important role being the foundation for his new society

3. Education while supposed to be the cornerstone of Bush's Presidency is also a victim of his new societal order. Educating the lower classes is also not in his interest. He does need to educate those required to fill his technical and upper class positions. Those are coming from the upper Colleges, the lucky few, or better educated legal or illegal immigrants that he plans on legalizing which again has been part of his plan from the beginning.

4. Politicians will not tackle health care costs unless Dems are in control of the issues. Healthcare costs are a bigger issue than most realize. This too is part of Bush's plan for new societal order. Little by little he is excusing Industry and big business from their obligations. More people are having to be picked up by the Federal program which will soon be bankrupt. The healthcare costs are increasingly being handed over as the responsibility of individuals or volunteer free programs and not companies.

5. The USA is losing its lead in the world and Bush in his relentless pursuance of his new world order has only sped us up on the road of the Roman Empire.

6. The cold war is not over! Only in the minds of Bushco who use that impliance as an excuse to further their cause of new middle east, and world order. Just look at North Korea, Russia, China. All and more are clandestinely increasing their arms in order to be used against us in the future. It is all building and Bush continues to ignore it because again, he must in order to finish his plan to prosecute the very new world order that you know has been his plan from the beginning. Saying he is purposely pushing us towards world war is only recognizing reality. It is the final step in his creation of disorder necessary in order for him to replace with his new order. He can then implement his new world order. It will happen but not as he thinks and it will be more painful and convulsive than most realize.

7. America is not more secure than 9/11. Bush has increased terrorism and our insecurity. Instead of denying this he should tell the truth and I don't think he realizes what that is! He might but he must ignore reality and stay the course in order to prosecute his new societal, middle east, and world order. the so called terrorists have been increased but since this is all still beginning, It would have happened anyway. Like it or not we will be taking on Islam as they too want a new order as you know and it is counter to Bush's.

8. Before all is said and done China will emerge as the next superpower. I have done many posts pointing out that the non aligned Nations now number 118 Nations. 2/3 of the world. Bush will minimize them as he does . But, with the many enemies he is creating as a result of attacking Iraq and destabilizing an already unstable middle east coupled with the fact that Bush has humiliated China and Russia who are not holding joint military exercise for their health or to combat terrorism. One must realize they will side with the middle east, the non aligned Nations, and others that want to see our demise. that will put Israel, Britain, and the U.S. against the world. What a coincidence! Just the perfect scenario so that if Bush does complete his new world order, those he wants to rule it are all on the same side.

9. We will preserve, protect, and defend America but it will come at a lot higher price than most realize and the new world order will not be as anyone realizes are wants.

Now I want to relist the 10 steps listed to end a Democracy as they pertain to us and you will agree.

1. Invoke a terrifying internal and external enemy. The enemy is us! After 9/11 the Patriot act was passed, fear constantly pressed on us and Bush started his power grab.
2. Create a gulag . Once you have got everyone scared, the next step is to create a prison system outside the rule of law, FEMA Concentration camps!
3. Develop a thug caste: Blackwater and private security even at times various Governmental agencies.
4. Set up an internal surveillance system
5. Harass citizens' groups
6. Engage in arbitrary detention and release
7. Target key individuals: Threaten civil servants
8. Control the press
9. Dissent equals treason: We know only Bushco can commit treason as they set up their new America
10. Suspend the rule of law: The John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007 gave the president new powers over the national guard. He can now send New York's national guard against another State if "He" deems necessary!

Remember the 14 common threads of Fascism: keep the entire world in mind but particularly how everyone of them applies in America today. This is scary!

I know corruption has been around since the beginning of society and man. However, with the advent of George W and his corrupt underhanded Government in what he called an example of Democracy to be exported around the world the corruption and stolen power became the new standard.

Bush used what I coined as 3D politics taught by Karl Rove to achieve their goals. (3D politics = Deceitful, deceptive, divisive politics) It seems in every election in every country now we hear cries of fraud and corruption not just here in the US and more visibly in Iran during the June Presidential election. Why should we expect Afghanistan or anyone else to be any different?

Look at the example we have set for others to follow. I remember the feeling of shame when GW had the audacity to tell China they should aspire to a US style Democracy seeing our own broadcast daily corruption in what many of us believed was no longer a Democracy. Under Bush we became a Democracy in name only and were exporting that not just in the Middle East but around the world.

Stealing elections and corruptions is the standard in the world now. The destruction Bush rained on the US and world balance along with the example he set for the world to follow will affect the entire world for generations if not forever. That is why I can not forget what Bush did and people often tell me to get over it. He made sure he will go down in history!

I am disgusted every time I see a so called free and fair election and it is corrupted for ones personal gain. Haiti and Thailand are just the latest examples. It is worse in Iraq and Afghanistan but a month later and we are still fighting in Alaska and trying to pull the courts in again. This is really sick!

Democracies have become a joke if they weren't before. I can't believe how routinely we see corruption openly displayed while being denied, how often the facade of Democracy is openly and wantonly used to steal power. It has become routine, a joke, embarrassing, and disgusting.

Afghanistan joins railroad era—100 years late or perfect timing?

Afghanistan joins railroad era—100 years late: More than a century ago, fearing that his country might be swallowed up in the Great Game rivalry between the British empire to the east and the Russian army to the north, an Afghan king made a radical decision: He banned railroads. That edict effectively kept out foreign troops for a number of years. But it also left the Afghan economy, once a wealthy crossroads of the ancient Silk Road trading routes, largely cut off from the world at a time when trains were the engines of development.

Now, Afghanistan has just opened its first major railroad and is planning a half dozen more. The government is also inviting other countries to build tracks, part of plans for a "New Silk Route" that the U.S. hopes will help stabilize the region by promoting trading links. China, Iran, Pakistan and India all have government or corporate plans for separate railroad projects across Afghanistan. Turkmenistan is completing its own plans for another line. And Uzbekistan has already built the first major rail link.

I have to tell you. I spent a couple hours researching the China Afghanistan Border along with the railroad and China's considerable interest in Afghanistan. During Afghanistan's war with Russia China cooperated with the US and was sending arms and supplies to the Mujaheden. They have a small border with Afghanistan and a crossing that was closed in 2001 because we attacked Afghanistan.

Reading up on it finds that there really is no road in Afghanistan to the border and access in China is very rudimentary. Reopening the border has been proposed as has even extending the railroad into China by Afghanistan. Of course the future of any kind of mining depends on the security of the country let alone extending a railroad into China. Afghan Railroad

China for some reason seems to be the country benefiting the most from our entry into Afghanistan. Since we have gone there we have discovered considerable natural resources that require a railroad structure in a country so untamed, mountainous, and expansive. The Taliban if they play their cards right can allow these riches to be exploited while living their preferred life styles. This can be a win win for them or a continuation of their war tribe existence.

In recent years a lot has been coming too light, Afghanistan can be the Saudi Arabia of Lithium The China of Capitalism, success or failure of tribalism is up to them, Afghanistan the curse of natural resources! As you know, US geologists found $1 trillion of mineral reserves in Afghanistan, the deposits, which include large veins of iron, copper, cobalt, gold and lithium are so large they could alter the Afghan economy, American geologists said after discovering the resources. I would expect China will get those too.

Plans were announced to start mining copper in the Aynak valley, southwest of Kabul, which holds one of the world’s biggest untapped copper deposits, estimated to be worth up to $88_billion (£44 billion) – more than double Afghanistan’s entire gross domestic product (GDP) in 2007.

In November, 2008 a 30-year lease was sold to the China Metallurgical Group for $3 billion, making it the biggest foreign investment and private business venture in Afghanistan’s history.

However despite the finds, with no mining industry in place it would take decades to develop an infrastructure to exploit the vast mineral reserves which are scattered throughout the country including along the border with Pakistan where some of the most intense fighting has taken place. US geologists find $1 to $3 trillion of mineral reserves in Afghanistan: The U.S. Department of Defense earlier said Afghanistan's reserves of iron, copper, cobalt, gold and other prized minerals could be worth $1 trillion. Shahrani says that's conservative. Afghanistan is working with international "partners. I am sure that means China almost exclusively.

There are 1 to 3 trillion dollars worth of mineral resources alone. Enough to make them a power house if they could only come together in some manner and had someone in control of the country that knew how to capitalize from it. They are throughout Afghanistan including the Afghan Pakistan border which is significant to me.

There is enough lithium alone to power laptops computers Ipads Ipods everything you can think of in the age of lithium batteries, the 21st century. The heck with copper mines pipelines and oil and gas this could force the Taliban into being the China of Afghanistan allowing Capitalism to facilitate their preferred lifestyle of tribalism as the Chinese have used it to further communism.

Extensive natural resources have been brought to light of late, the only thing lacking is a secure environment to bring them to market and the means which is the railroad. Many railroads are in the works and I see great things for Afghanistan if they can stop their infighting long enough to figure out an equitable way to divvy up the spoils.

Being devoid of railroads until this point in time could be the best thing that ever happened to Afghanistan. The natural resources have been left intact due to the tribal lifestyle and desire to keep the land wild. The resources are there now and the means to get them to market are being built, Afghanistan can now have the means to live the lifestyle of simplicity that they want by controlling Capitalism for their desires as China does for theirs. The future could be bright for Afghanistan like has never been possible before. I hope they take advantage of it and are allowed to control their destiny as they should be.

Another New Year brings another unwanted Republican president

                                                Enough already!

As we prepare to bring in 2017 I want to remind you what I said about Bush's damage because what did not come true yet sadly is happening right now around the world.
 

The first Decade of the 21st century was dominated by alcoholic and life long loser George w Bush and his damage to the US and the worlds order. Every year under his misleader ship got worse and worse. Sadly his damage will be felt for decades and generations to come. He started in 2000 with a stolen election, he allowed 9/11 to happen, and he followed that with the hell of a mess he made out of Katrina. He illegally attacked Iraq, and did his damnedest to instigate more war around the world.

After Bush's destruction anything to look forward to would be from President Obama undoing Bush's damage but Republicans are doing their damnedest to make sure he fails us and the country so they can get back in and get Bush's elitist agenda back on track. Anyway It is New Years Eve and I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year!

After Bush got reelected in 2004 he announced that the election was a mandate, oh yeah! He said he had earned Political Capital and he was going to spend it,remember? many of us believed he was politically bankrupt even then. He had no Political Capital to spend. He had been since day one working on making us morally and financially bankrupt but I'll leave that alone today as I promised to be nice.

Every New Years Eve we have had a feeling of dread facing the upcoming year! On 12/31/05 I noted We're in trouble, Bush Promises to make 2006 as bad as 2005!! I said Today is New Years Eve and we just heard the Presidents weekly radio address. It was his last hurrah for 2005 and he was talking about how he wants to continue his abuse of the past through 2006. This had to really scare you the average American. Bush was a nightmare and he flew into the sunset proud of his societal and world destruction.

President Bush vowed to continue what to you and I as average Americans witnessed and experienced as the continued destruction of society and the country as we like to remember it. He still thinks we are the envy of the world. This is still partially true but only because a large part of the world is still behind us in their progression. Due to his insistence on continued tax cuts for the wealthy. His continued destruction of the lower classes, his continuing outsourcing of his Karl Rove’s taught 3D politics (deceitful, deceptive, divisive, politics) contributing to world disorder he is continuing to erode this envy as we moved into 2006.

New Years Eve 12/31/06 I noted Bush promised to make 2007 more deadlier than 2006 for American's and Iraqi's! He certainly did just that. I woke one morning to hear the 3,000th American had been killed in Iraq that number is now 4370. I reiterated that this Bush created Iraqi breakdown will spread throughout the middle east, being a total war between Shiite and Sunni as you can see it developing still

Thanks to President Obama's election in 2008 2009 dawned with renewed hope but the decade of Bush's destruction was still playing out and will be for many years. Millions have lost their jobs, homes, and health insurance. We saw massive bailouts for our capitalist system. Capitalism was bailed out so we still have hope. Now for us! More than a year into President Obama's Presidency we had not seen any accomplishments.

That said New Year 2010 arrived: Our troops are scheduled to depart Iraq in 2011, foreclosures have slowed down, Job losses have slowed drastically, the economy of the wealthy is recovering and ours looks to be showing positive signs of improvement so we have hope. We watch the mess in Iran, our and the worlds financial mess hopefully improving and we have hope for 2010. Again we were wrong, our hope misguided.

2011 sees the middle east just beginning to explode and not just Syria, Iran, and the Arab spring countries as our troops just came home at least for now.We would do well to remember the History of what an Arab spring often brings, "WAR" The entire world is unstable as never before in my lifetime.

With a house divided and nothing period being done for the United States or its average citizens, the too real prospect of more impending "wars", and the people's and countries situations worsening in every respect around the world, I ask you what does New Year 2017 mean to you? Electoral College confusion;

                                                   

 Today the College votes for president. Knowing we already voted and Hillary won by almost 3 million votes but Trump was declared the winner by the electoral College I was again confused.

I thought they were representatives or the two political parties but they are not. I noticed Republicans have the edge in number and figured Trump was right the system is rigged.

 It seems to be but it is not that simple.

Our forefathers seem to have gotten it right again though I disagreed the last 2 times they held sway. The whole system and why they did it was and still is very confusing so I was lucky enough after some pretty extensive digging to find the following link that I found very informative.

In fact, it can be said that Israel has never wanted peace

 – a just peace, that is, one based on a just compromise for both sides. It’s true that the routine greeting in Hebrew is Shalom (peace) – shalom when one leaves and shalom when one arrives. And, at the drop of a hat, almost every Israeli will say he wants peace, of course he does. After blaming the lack of peace squarely on the settlements, he went a step further, and raised the incendiary question of apartheid: “If I’m Jerusalem and I put 500 Jewish settlers out here to the east and there’s 10,000 Arab settlers in here, if we draw the border to include them, either it ceases to be a Jewish state or you say the Arabs don’t get to vote -- apartheid.  Some Hear Death Knell for a Two-State Solution: Despite indications that U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is committing a substantial amount of time and effort to revive the long-stalled Israel-Palestinian “peace process”, a growing number of experts believe a two-state solution is no longer viable and the lack of a realistic discussion of the issue in the United States is leaving the country without an alternative policy.

In the two months since confirmation in his post, Kerry has made three trips to the region. On Monday, he hosted an Arab League delegation, including the League’s secretary general, the Qatari prime minister and representatives from the Palestinian Authority, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, and Lebanon.

Israel will never agree to share Jerusalem period and neither will Hamas .Israel will resort to war period, especially knowing the US will come to their rescue and it bothers me. This is really getting old!

I wrote about it numerous times, to hell with Israel they are the problem. Netanyahu does not want peace until he gets everything he wants which includes all of Jerusalem. We have to take care of our own and let them hang themselves. Ahmadinejad was right in one thing when he said years ago that is Europe and the US felt so bad for what happened to the Jews in ww2 they should have given them part of their country. We would have no problem then. We are as guilty as them for not enforcing UN resolution 181. UN Resolution 181 that was established in 1947. Stop supporting Israel!

I have been sick of Israel's lying about wanting a compromise, a two state solution. Ehud Barak had a viable solution Benjamin Netanyahu shot down. Netanyahu's lies to provoke and prolong this impasse holds the day. I am sick of this crap, I am sorry!

Israel's leader does not want to share Jerusalem

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the issue of settlements as a "marginal" part of peace talks and said he was glad the United States had abandoned its demand for a renewed freeze. BS, it is integral and proof Netanyahu does not want peace but all of Jerusalem!

Lack of a peace solution to the Israeli crisis we created keeps being blamed on the Palestinians and I for one am quite sick of it! Israel could lease Palestinian lands in exchange for Palestinian statehood: report I am thinking this can be done after all my apprehension if Israel really wanted a two state solution. With Palestine rebuffing Iran, Iran would be the one left out in the cold however Israel does not want this to succeed. Leave Israel to her own demise, I am sick of the lies!

They say that Palestinian refusal to recognize Israel as a Jewish state shows they are not serious about two-state solution. What about Israel's refusal to go back to 1967 borders, to stop building settlements, or to let Palestine have a homeland free of Jews if they want? What about UN resolution 181 established in 1947?PLO wants map from US with future Israeli border Can you blame them? It will never happen though because we are Israel's lap dog.

Vice Prime Minister and Strategic Affairs Minister Moshe Ya'alon said that he saw "no chance of reaching a peace deal with the Palestinians in the near future". There is no way in hell ever because neither side really wants it. They want the other subversive, end of discussion.

"In the eyes of Palestinians, the occupation began in '48 and not in '67," Ya'alon told Army Radio. "Not only Hamas thinks this – Abu Mazen [Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas does too." I think that too! I refuse to believe we took it upon ourselves to displace the Palestinians and give their land to the Jews in 1948 because we felt bad for them.

I reiterate: Palestinians for their part are doing their share for peace but it is futile: They are willing to let Israel control the wailing wall and just want East Jerusalem as their capital but there is no way in hell Israel is going to give that up as they swear it belongs to them. It does not belong to them. They do not want peace unless they get everything they want and they will not. This will only end in war and we will be dragged in. That is why Bush ignored Afghanistan to get into the Middle East. Right from the get go helping Israel against Iran was the goal.

Again I reiterate there will never be peace in the Middle East, period!Israel wants it her way and Iran/Syria want Israel obliterated, period, seems like peace is in Palestinian hands and depends on how much they are willing to bend because Israel will not. Israel and Iran have long been in preparation for this confrontation. As you know, when asked by a journalist how he felt upon returning to Iran in 1979 after 15 years in exile. Khomeini’s curt, one-word reply was “nothing” Whoa! From day one of his return to Iran Khomeini expressed no love for Iran only a love of the atom bomb. The drive even then was to possess a nuclear weapon though that desire is still denied until Iran can get their hands on one.

On the other side there is Israel who will give nothing and expects Palestinians to give up everything! I realized a long time ago that Israel is the world's chief war monger and we seem to do their bidding and fighting. If they get into a war with Iran we will end up coming to their rescue regardless of what they do or what is said or done and that is sad! We should in fact take care of Jewish American's and American's and our interests in Israel and otherwise tell them in no uncertain terms they are on their own if they continue to instigate war not peace and expecting us to come to their rescue. Well the heck with them we have given enough!
