I broke and dislocated my right wrist so please bear with me. I spent 10 hours yesterday trying to get something put together. I finally got it but it was late and I had to put it aside. this morning I wake to hear the on line NYT reports Gonzo resigned, I know they will lie about it and it is about damn time but now it is up to dems to keep his new order enabling lies alive and hold all of them accountable.

Again I preface by saying bear with me. I am typing with just my left hand and after 5 hours I gave up yesterday but the morning's inequities make it necessary to try again today. yesterday I was stunned after seeing Bush duplicate every single mistake made during Vietnam and have him deny any comparison he invoked Vietnam for the entirely wrong reason in hopes of using the analogy for political gain and again no one called him on it and he got away with this too.
He actually compared Vietnam to Iraq saying we left too early and got a lot of innocent people killed. Wait a minute, in both cases attacking to force a democracy is what caused those people to get killed. You see it today as every time a victory is declared for democracy more innocents lose their lives to truck bombs and murder. Today I was reading that the so called experts came out in time to back up little Bush too say if we did not listen to the hawks and stayed a little longer we would have won. BS, As in Iraq, loss was guaranteed on day one trying to force a Democracy where it was not wholly wanted.let me show you a little something!

This absolutely stunned me when I heard it on WBZ Radio. In regard to Bush in my mind declaring "mission complete" on the aircraft Carrier after the initial surge into Baghdad I have to think about that but knowing for years now Bush has been advised by many that he cannot win militarily in Iraq as we all knew and know and he still insists on keeping our troops in this growing civil war, I heard this and it blew me away.
We always hear Iraq being compared to Vietnam but this morning I heard that Lyndon Johnson was told he could not win militarily for the first time in 1966. 95% of all the names on the Vietnam war "wall" memorial were put on there as a result of continuing the war after he was told he couldn't win militarily in 1966.
Bush is mirroring Vietnam and worse in every way, including in this respect. That means most of the 58,000 lost were wasted just for political gain. That stuns me and knowing Bush will do what he has to too stay in the middle of his created middle east mess I am concerned as to how high he would have this number rise all the while feigning to be a loyal loving American President. My eye!

Anyway I heard a couple more very stunning developments! The other day I did hear Maliki's announcement after hearing American politicians call for his ouster while he was meeting with Syria's President Bashar al-Assad that he didn't need us, he had other friends he could rely on. That told me he had other friends influencing him now as many of us believe including Iran that bush wants to attack and with the Revolutionary Guard as his excuse, is almost ready. We know this middle east breakdown will mot be controlled nor is their a real desire to stop it but most of you know I have additional concerns over there now.
Anyway that brings me to the last thing I heard yesterday and it ties right in to what I said about Bush attacking Pakistan and Iran at the same time from the Gulf now that he is supplying Billions in advanced weaponry to Saudi Arabia and other supposed allies.

First I have to say since he is rife for pulling childish tantrums I wish he would hold his breath and take his ball and go home while we still seem to have a country to save. Anyway I was going through the daily supply of lies and MisAdministration cover-up stories and decided to talk about the latest supply.

"This is the only aspect of the NSA activities that can be discussed publicly because it is the only aspect of those various activities whose existence has been fully acknowledged," McConnell wrote. Opinions on all of them are at record lows and they could all care less as they all continue to do nothing, do what they want, and none of them give a damn.

During their tenure Bush has set a fine example. I should be used to the crap by now but this really stunned me. In a report to Congress, the non partisan Government Accountability Office studied a small sample of the bill provisions that Bush has signed into law but also challenged with signing statements.
The GAO found that agencies disobeyed six such laws, while enforcing 10 others as written even though Bush had challenged them.
It is a common feeling for us that what damn good is a law or anything if Bush can just rewrite it or ignore it? A signing statement is a legal document filed in the Federal Register the day a president signs a bill into law. It instructs the executive branch about how to implement the new statutes the bill creates, and sometimes it states that certain provisions are unconstitutional and need not be enforced as written.

While wer'e talking Symbolic, what are the Ramifications of a no confidence vote on Bush?

A No Confidence Vote In regard to Bush, is it possible? Can Someone tell me what the ramifications would be?
Like you I am listening to the political drama going on over the waste of time a No Confidence vote on Gonzales is. I am sick of seeing obvious corrupt people backed by Bush who says he is the Decider and what everyone else thinks and does is just a waste of their time and energy. I listen to Bush say he is more confident about Gonzales now that he remembers nothing and in light of everything that has gone wrong at least to us in this MIS Presidency and I started thinking.
We keep hearing the GOP saying trying to hold the President accountable for instigating and allowing corruption is "beneath the Senates Dignity" first I have to say nothing appears to be, including not working and looking stupid. Isn't doing the peoples work and keeping the Government and the President honest their job? Can somebody help me with this!
This morning I heard that after all this time there are still 100 unclaimed bodies from Hurricane Katrina hanging around in nondescript warehouses. That is unconscionable. What happened to caring and doing the right thing?
I understand Impeachment is the only actionable thing the Senate can do against the President or so I think. Knowing how that is going and certainly Bush deserves that and more, and that the Congress and the Senate has still officially refused to consider it, I have to ask! What would be the Ramifications of having an open vote whether the Republicans block it or not on a No Confidence Vote for the chief idiot?
I don't have to list or name the numerous situations he has mishandled whether on purpose for his new order or through corruptive ineptitude. Just say one word. Everything! He has done nothing right for the average American. He has done nothing right for "we the people" He has done nothing right for Our America. He has done nothing right in the middle east or diplomatically around the world.
Katrina, Iraq, The middle east, the world, to us he has messed everything up. To him he has done everything right as he pursues a different agenda than us and the Democratic Congress. I do not understand why a no confidence vote cannot and has not been taken against the man who would call himself a President? It would at least let the people know Bush would be held accountable and if not then it was the Republicans allowing it to continue. It may be symbolic, meaningless, and worthless for now but it would let people know that once the Democrats take everything over in 2008 there would be a return to accountability and doing the work of "we the people" and our America.
I know there would be bad ramifications around the world politically for the entire country and I certainly can't say I know how that would play it but we are driven to take desperate action to make this President do the right thing for the average American and the world not for Bush and his MIS Agenda. Society Is Under Attack not just from Terrorism: From the Outside, The Inside, The Top, The Bottom!

Thirty-five years ago I saw eventually happening to our society exactly what is happening today. I could see that we were no different from any other society in history and that it was only a matter of time before we went the way of the Roman Empire.
I was hoping that with the advent of this so called war on terror that we would pull our collective selves together to eliminate the threat to our society. After Bush allowed 9/11 to happen in order to bring America behind his so called efforts against terrorism which is in actuality a front in his effort at new societal and world order where America will remain the worlds only super power.
I am of the frame of mind that while we are combating an outside threat that anyone that goes against the accepted norms of society should be treated as the so called terrorists are. That goes for low life's of society whether they are average citizens or low life Politicians.
Instead of coming together and doing the right thing for our society with every passing day and every passing year we as a society are seemingly racing towards obscurity.
Everyday it is one thing or the other from every level of society and not just from within but of course from without as the so called terrorists want to bring us down too.
I wish someone could tell me how much crime has increased under Bush's misguidance. Anyway Big-city murders rose sharply in 2006 as violent crime increased nationally for the second straight year, the FBI reported Monday. Rapes, murders and other violent crimes such as workplace and family violence is on the increase it seems unabated.
Much of this is due to the increased stress of trying to survive and thrive under ever worsening conditions. Gonzales to take the pressure of his own indiscretions is blaming it all on gang violence and pledging millions more to be spent on it. I doubt if it will happen and it will do nothing.

I find that hard to believe because the drastic increase in Boston with offers from the FBI to help coupled with New Orleans problems is what compelled me to revisit this last month.I was appalled yesterday whan I heard that a Boston fireman was pummelled by 4 thugs after he responded to a fire. what the heck are we letting happen to our society? We can stop this backslide but we must all get involved.
I don't get the complacency! Today I hear from the corrupt inside. Scooter gets 2 1/2 years for perjury and obstruction of justice for showing no animosity. Guarantee he will drag his feet until Bush gets out and pardons him. A federal grand jury on Monday stepped on Louisiana Democratic Rep. William Jefferson As he was indicted on 16 charges relating to a long-running investigation into bribery, racketeering, obstruction of justice and money laundering.
Calling it a "broad range of serious crimes," federal prosecutors called the case one about "greed, power and arrogance." The officials said the investigation spanned from the United States to Africa and alleged it involved a number of occasions of criminal conduct by Jefferson, including bribing businessmen in a congressional building and promising a businessman that he would bribe a Nigerian official.

While all this is going on the most covered issues seem to be Jack Kevorkian and whether or not Paris Hilton kept her hair extensions when she went to jail. I just don't get it. What the hell is wrong with us. Will society wake up? What will it take?

While on vacation I realized we cannot take a break from this Misadministration!

Oh when will we ever Learn? Oh when will we ever Learn? Cho, defending Gonzales, Bush's Iraq plan, too much has transpired. There is no time for a vacation today! where is the truth? where have all the Flowers gone?
I am afraid I am ranting but this crap just gets worse. I am back from vacation! While on vacation I did find the time to write about Virginia Tech. As usual it was necessary because the obvious and the real issues were never mentioned and as of yet I have not heard them.
First I have to tell you, I was away from the news and accidently turned on Limbaugh who was blaming rich Republican hating Democrats for Cho’s actions. I wrote about the following but have heard it nowhere else.
Cho being a minority fit none of the norms for your typical mass murderer. He was a nut case and it was known. Knowing the Patriot Act gives the right to go after anyone thought of as a threat and Cho was, you have to wonder why was nothing done?. His instructor even threatened to quit if he was not removed plus the cops and the entire campus knew about him.
However, that alone is not the issue! You have to wonder who gave Cho the training to handle the weapons the way he did? I know the CIA recruits heavily at that school and those weapons were recently purchased and the serial numbers filed. Who was being covered if the purchases were above board with knowing he was going to kill himself.
Still bigger questions! I found it hard to believe that more than 2 hours transpired between the first 2 killings and the majority of them on the other side of the campus. Then it gets worse when you find out the CIA was right on hand and State, local, and campus police were ordered to stand down.
Meanwhile a killing of 2 turned into an opportunity to get televised, turned into a killing of 32, and Bush had another platform to highlight dangers to Americans which he did and you can bet it will be used to step on individual rights even more and it will be used to give him even more control over us.
I could care less what those on the left or the right say about this or anything else as you know. I only care about the truth and the facts. Again as usual we are not hearing them but are only hearing the asinine rhetoric spewed by special interests.
If helping America and doing the right thing for average Americans was the real issue and goal this childish nonsense we hear constantly would not be happening but it is and on both sides.
It is funny but "lie frequently and lie loud" was a Rove’s taught trait in his 3D Politics(decietful, deceptive, divisive, politics) that I always said the Democrats have to learn in order to compete with todays Republicans. I am hearing from some Republican friends that they say Dems are guilty of this. Well all I can say is they have learned well but I am afraid not well enough. They are still being downplayed by the masters of this childish game and to the demise of all of us.
I have a lot of catching up to do but listening to the Chief Child put down the Dems Iraq policy and saying it will lead to future danger to Americans and a loss in Iraq, both of which that idiot guaranteed from day one and it will not be avoided, then hearing Gonzales say 76 times that he could not remember and Bush saying he was more confident that ever in him, you have to wonder.
Even the most jaded must realize Bush is not on the level and the whole misadministration is up to no good. I mean come on! Evaluate everything with an unbiased mind only seeking the truth and you will see from beginning to end we are all living a lie! Oh when will we ever learn? And do something about it!

House Judiciary subcommittee today authorized subpoenas for Karl Rove, President Bush’s political adviser, and other senior White House officials in the investigation into the firing of eight United States attorneys.
Democrats said the subpoenas, approved on a voice vote of the panel, would not be issued immediately but could provide leverage for Congress in trying to win the testimony of the aides being sought. I know Democrats say this vote was only for leverage in case the Justice Department and White House continue to hide the truth. I mean come on this is Bush.
They really don't think he is going to cooperate can they? Bush's pitiful take it or leave it offer is to allow private interviews with Mr. Rove, Harriet E. Miers, the former White House counsel; and two other officials. It also offered to provide access to e-mail messages and other communications about the dismissals, but not those between White House officials.

I just saw a bit of Snows meeting to discuss the issue and I'm telling you, it stinks to high heaven. Not only is Bush stupidly saying he has provided 3,000 pages to back up the White House but what about the rest? Also I just found out that there are 3 or so weeks of Emails that are missing. Snow simply said he doesn't know why.
That in itself is a little more than suspicious especially in light of the underhanded practices followed by this misadministration. I also heard something else I didn't think about. I know Bush is insisting that a discussion between Rove's, the white House officials, and the Judiciary Committee be held behind closed doors as we heard but without a standard stenographer.
This is an absolutely asinine "demand". That cannot be allowed to happen! you know for a fact that if that happened the Democrats may come out speaking the truth but the Republicans will come out with a story that backs them up. The truth will not told of heard by us and Bush and his misadministration will get away with their lies once again.

I first want to say that in 1998 when Clinton was trying to use executive privilege Snow wrote that you should not be able to hid behind it but now that it's Bush it's okay? Anyway with all the lying that is going to continue here over just this one misuse of power supplied by the Patriot act I am very pleased that the Senate has voted overwhelmingly to revoke the authority they had granted the administration last year under the USA Patriot Act to install federal prosecutors indefinitely without Senate confirmation.
That is a good start but I have said from the beginning that in the right hands the Patriot Act would be a useful tool but under Bush it is only one more tool he will abuse and misuse and of course he has. The entire Patriot Act should be revoked because you can bet Bush abusing the entire thing. With all said and done you can bet this will end up in the Supreme Court.
My question to you is, is Bush threatening to do this because he is confidant with his appointees that their finding will be in his favor? To me, with an unbiased opinion it should be found in favor of Democrats if the truth is to be found! How do you think this will turn out in the Supreme Court? bottom line is Gonzales is lying and should be replaced. Will he be?
