Syria crisis: activists report 'bloodiest day yet' - live updates: Plus a second day of dramatic bombings

This is the latest in Syria, gloss the stories and read the links that interest you and make your own decision as to conclusion, mine follows.

Military Source: Four Guards Martyred, 14 Military Members and Civilians ...: The armed terrorist gangs connected with abroad have carried out two terrorist bombings on Wednesday targeting the General Staff building, an official military source said. It pointed out that the initial investigations indicated that the two bombings in the surrounding of and inside the General Staff building are caused by two booby-trapped cars.

The source said the terrorist attack resulted in the martyrdom ohttp://www.guardian.co.uk/world/middle-east-live/2012/sep/27/syria-bloodiest-day-yet-livef four guards of wounds they sustained in the explosions and the injury of 14 civilians and military members, in addition to causing material damages to the building and a fire in some of its parts. The source said that this terrorist act coincided with shooting random fire by some terrorists in the vicinity of the building and the neighboring streets to spread panic among the civilians, asserting that the authorities confronted the terrorists and pursued them in the surrounding area.

Syria crisis: activists report 'bloodiest day yet' - live updates: In a report for the Guardian from Aleppo on Sunday, Ghaith Abdul-Ahad in Aleppo referred to "a babble of different languages" heard among fighters in the city – Chechen, Tajik, Turkish, French, Saudi dialect and Urdu.
Reuters is more slightly cautious than CNN over activists' claims about Wednesday's death toll. It cites the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights claiming that more than 300 people were killed, "in one of the bloodiest days".

Blasts Rock Military Headquarters in Damascus:  Suicide bombers struck a military headquarters in a busy square in central Damascus on Wednesday morning, the second insurgent assault on a government military installation in two days and the largest attack in the capital since July, when explosions killed several key aides to President Bashar al-Assad.
This is looking really good but caution, Now that we know how involved Russia, Iran and Hezbollah are in the slaughtering that is going on around the country that is beginning to look like the beginning of their fight not nearing the end. I think France and Turkey are in for a surprise and will take this mess to the next level.

You have to be very concerned about what is happening in Syria especially. Russia, China, and Iran are not going to allow Syria to fall to Democracy. What we saw after the voter fraud in Iran was mild compared to what the IRG will do if this movement spreads to Iran. I really wish Bashar would step down but Iran is the elephant in the room any way you look at it. The total middle east breakdown we have written about numerous times is well under way. We can only hope we keep it from erupting into WW3.

In closing: You know Putin just got himself reelected as President, he did this so he could be at the helm of Russia as he like me knows 100% that world war is our future. He plans on marshaling China who is rapidly building a more formidable military and whoever he can to take on US hegemony.Russia watched helplessly as we had our way in Libya. Putin blames what is happening in Syria on our interference and Libya for training the protesters to fight against Bashar Al-Assad.

Putin is going to do everything possible to keep us from helping the Syrian people and I really feel for them. I do not see this going down the way Libya did and Iran and Russia are going to make sure it does not. I am afraid the Syrian people are going to be sacrificed, sacrificed in what is merely an opening salvo in this the wars for future dominance. I just heard that Russia is gathering forces to go into Iran via Armenia for a quick strike through Georgia. We have a showdown setting up that looks disastrous for the worlds future. It will be a miracle if we can keep this from turning into WW3!

Howdy Jim ... Thanx for the update of course, even though it isnt a treat at breakfast for me. I thought what is happening to the Syrian people is really hardcore Jim, as I mentioned, and even though I dont think they are our business as far as their internal affair's, I would try to want to get at least some help somehow to them on this, because this dictator is pretty hardcore by todayz standard's, I dont know how much or how in Hell to do it, because I dont have the bloody background to assess shit ike this and what exactly is needed. I feel politic's and corporation's play too much in these thing's anywayz as far as gain's/ losses. It's kinda obvious that this Assad guy aint gonna deal, period, and all these other folk's getting involved just make's it that much more confusing to me. And beside's, I figure WTF? ... do what we have to do (we certainly did with Hitler and other's, even though Hitler was a different threat and large in magnitude compared). On one hand I cant wait for this election crap of our's to be over, I'm sick of it and the left/ right race period ... on the other hand, I look at it as a blessing, because I feel that also some politician's we have will try to make this "arguement" to not only help Syria ... but to use it as well as part reason to bomb Iran, I feel that Washington is trying to build us up for a large scale war and were not hearing about it only because of these shitty election's, where we have a millionaire corporate communist (Romney) trying to take over the country from another millionaire (too long of a story), and I feel at this rate (hopefully I'm wrong) ... that starting 2013, one of the first thing's that will leave the water cooler chat in Washington and make it's way to the floor, is another mega war in this region somehow, with defense contractor's hanging out through their lobbyist's drooling over it and the money to be made ... yes ... while were so called "broke" ... were about as broke as I'm Micky F'n Mouse ... thus also giving ole "Poo- Poo" (Putin) time to flex a lil muscle as well for politi- military show, as the other giant, China ... both of course will want to be alot cheaper than us though as far as expenses, and try to figure out a way for the west to pay most of it ... I just feel on these issue's Jim, once this election is over and the corporate interest's are satisfied it's back to a huge war ... I would hope not though ... because also if it happen's ... rest assured it will start alot of domestic conflict's here ... American's sooner or later are going to get sick and tired of this ring- around- the rosie shit every 4 year's eventually with both side's claiming to be good and their opponent's evil, with more and more excuses to "reform" us and our right's and more excuses why we need to pay more and scarifice crap, etc, etc.

I'll shut up now ....

One more thing if I may here ... on the other hand Jim ... I feel this is EXACTLY what we are gonna need to avtually finalize actual change in how we do thing's as people of this nation, because we keep buying into the same ole same shit decade after decade and frankly not a bloody thing of progress for the people of this nation are getting done anymore's, beside's a few petty dog biscuit's here and there getting tossed to us ... to be even a lil more frank here Jim ... we need a few more inches up the ass here before we say enough is enough ... and if "violence" here in America is needed ... then it should be ... because Jim ... it's our bloody right ... we ARE BEING TYRANNIZED, period! We alwayz love quoting the so called founding father's, eh? ... well let me tell you ... our founding father's have what we lack .... BACKBONE ... because they would have never put up with the shit we have without blood being shed, we have a saturated freak show of cowardly pansies these dayz in our nation running thing's.

Word Out Jim ...
